This episode is brought to you by Jake Mueller Adventures, a thrilling Christian audio drama.
The topic switches to Freemasonry, and I could see this figure walking ahead of me on the sidewalk.
I'm out, and then you see this black hole teeth thing.
And so I call him back and I'm like, hey, did you hear that?
And my dad goes, the demonic screaming.
Yeah, I heard that.
Dude.
Hey, everybody, welcome to this episode of The Graveyard Shift.
My name is Ben Garrett, your host, and I'm joined by my co-examined.
host and good friend Brian Sovey. I am. I wanted to say something dramatic like the whole destroyer
worlds. Did it not come off? No. Dang it. No, it really does. So it made, so I didn't look really cool.
No. I mean, I guess Evan, I guess Evans the judge. Okay. Hey, listeners, like this video if you think I
sounded really cool. Comment if you also think I sounded really cool. Like and subscribe if you,
if you don't think he sounded cool or if you do. Any action you take.
take that's positive, we'll take as I was cool. And any action that you take as negative will
also be like, that is cool. Okay, we're also joined by a special guest today. His name is Taylor
Johnson. Taylor say hello to the people. How you doing everybody? Yeah. See, now that was cool.
Hey, it was a bit of that Texas like low key cool. I'm right here. I'm just saying you can take notes.
Nah, that's true. I need to be a little bit more like Taylor. Yeah, yeah. I think we all. Okay.
Try it. Don't try so hard. Now, everyone,
knows the rules. The graveyard shift is ideal if Brian has never heard the story and if I have
forgotten the story, which in this case, I have. So we are good to go. But before we hop into the
story, we have an icebreaker question for Taylor so that we and the people can really get to know you.
Yeah. Everything we need to know about you is going to be determined by this question.
And that question is this. Now, I'm not going to say what city he lives in, but he does live in the
state of Texas. And so the question is, what is your favorite American state, but you can't say
I'm going to say I lived in Idaho, loved Idaho.
Yeah, that's a really good answer.
Idaho is such an S-tier state.
It really is, man.
It's amazing.
It's got everything.
You got the poloose, you got the sawtooth, you got everything there.
It is, it's a beautiful climate, woods.
Quarter Lane, Lando Lakes, but like northern version.
I lived in the northern part too.
Oh, yeah.
It's Boise, but yeah.
Heck yeah, man.
Border Washington.
Oh, beautiful up there.
So like so much rain and glorious.
Glory.
Exactly.
Utah's having like blood memory.
Utah's sad and dry.
I've been to every state, but Hawaii and Alaska, so I feel like I'm qualified to.
Wow.
Man, that was providentially the perfect question.
That was.
And you tapped into it.
Those are the skills right there.
Hey, glory be to God.
Yeah, glory.
Okay.
Well, hey, let's hop right in.
Yeah.
We have a fascinating story here from Taylor.
So Taylor, we're going to let you take it away.
and Brian and I will try to interrupt minimally.
Ben, have you heard of the Jake Muller Adventures?
What's that?
A Christian audio drama.
Zombies, vampires, global conspiracies, and faith at the center.
I was up all night on the edge of my seat.
Is it fully immersive, sound effects, and cast and everything?
Yes, full cast, cinematic sound.
It's like you can hear the danger coming.
Ooh, so kind of similar to Hanna Cosmos, but know your mom jokes and more drama?
No mom jokes yet.
But yeah, tons of drama. So it's kind of like your mom then.
Not quite. Check it out at jakemulleradventures.com

The nighttime is crawling with dangerous creatures.
Bigfoot, sleep paralysis demons, the moth man.
Now imagine what would make them even more terrifying.
That's right. Guns.
Criptids with guns.
That's where Armored Republic comes in.
They equip law-abiding citizens to stand against the,
unthinkable, even if it's a gun-wielding devil-worshipping Bigfoot.

Brian, let me paint you a scenario.
You wake up in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
The swamp ape has flooded your yard overnight.
you do? Ben, I wouldn't even know where to begin in answering this question. Okay, well, let me
answer it for you. You call the good old boys at Drain My Lone and they'll rush right over. These drainage
experts are the swamp apes greatest foible. They can remove his habitat in no time. Plus,
their sister company, Fence My Lone, can follow up the drainage with a fence that is scientifically
proven to keep swamp apes out. And it also looks really good. Wow. If you live in the Charlotte,
North Carolina area, go to drain my lawn.com slash haunted and you'll get 5% off any service.
All right, so I will try to share as few details as possible without losing the important parts
because the details kind of make it.
So about one and a half, two years ago now, I was driving downtown where I live and where we live,
downtown has one of the biggest Masonic temples that you're ever going to see.
Huge.
And so I'm driving.
It's nighttime.
I'm listening to a podcast about something else.
And for some reason, the podcast, the topic switches to free masonry.
And then I look up and I just so happen to be passing the temple, like right at the same time.
And this might sound kind of cliche.
day, but as soon as that happened, like the combination of it somehow kind of filled me with
like this really strong feeling of dread. And I didn't really have too much background info on
Freemasons, like at the time. And so I wouldn't say that there was anything that I knew that would
warrant feeling, like any kind of strong feelings, one way or the other. And so I'm like,
wow, that's like this really intense feeling.
And so I pull off onto this side road that kind of runs parallel.
And I could see this figure walking ahead of me on the sidewalk.
I'm out.
And it had like a hoodie on.
So I couldn't see like any features, anything like that.
And remember, it's like nighttime.
So I just see him in the headlights.
And so as I get closer, I'm going pretty slow.
I'm like, he's like five feet from the passenger side window.
and when I get close to him, all of a sudden it like whips around and it was, it kind of like took a big step towards my vehicle almost as if it was like lunging at me.
Didn't hear any sound, anything like that, but the shocking part was that it didn't have like a person's face.
Okay.
Yeah, it did not have like a person's face.
And like the best way that I can describe it is that it was like a black hole with.
teeth. Okay. Now, now, no, no, yeah. Now, I have a couple, I'm sorry, I know I just said we're not
going to interrupt. I have a couple questions. One, did you turn onto that road because of the sense
of dread or was that just the way you were going? That's the way that I was going. Okay. It was the GPS.
Okay. Okay. So you're just like, you're already going that direction. You pass the temple,
the podcast topic changes. You start feeling uneasy and then you see this black hole teeth thing.
Black hole face teeth, black hole teeth face thing.
Was this, was the temple a Masonic temple?
Yes.
Okay, I thought so.
I was just like, I'm Utah.
I thought Mormons and I just wanted to make sure I was following.
Yeah.
Wow.
Yep.
Yeah.
It was, it was pretty, it was pretty jarring.
And like I said, I didn't hear anything, but it kind of like, just the look of it,
it almost gave me the impression that it was like screaming at me.
like it was yelling
and so I don't know if it was just like
if it wasn't or if it
was and I couldn't hear it like over
the sound of like the podcast or like
whatever but I mean
so it wasn't this at all
but the
for reference it's almost like
like a demigorgian
from stranger things
without the flaps essentially
yeah a flapless demigorgia
so it's like it's like
the face as a whole
and then it's like
the whole face is filled with...
Let me do an artist's rendition.
Yeah.
There you go.
Evan, can you carefully craft
an artist rendition?
So...
That's insane.
You see this thing.
You kind of get the sense that it's...
You don't hear it,
but it seems like it's screaming
or it's at least upset with you.
It's hooded.
It's still like a hooded figure.
And then what?
Do you just like slam on the gas?
What do you do?
Get out of Dodge?
So it was coming up.
Like he was like right at this,
spot where I was already turning to the left.
Yeah.
And so I was already kind of like in the middle of a turn a little bit.
Yeah.
And then when I saw it, I just like swung the wheel like way too far.
And almost like went up onto the sidewalk on the other side of the street.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But then it stayed out.
So I just like overcorrected.
Can I do another artist rendition of what I would have done?
Well, no, I was going to say good instincts.
Yeah.
To not stop.
Like, wait a second.
Yeah.
So you missed.
Yeah.
And thankfully I wasn't moving.
Like,
thankfully I wasn't moving very fast.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like at that moment.
It must have been like 15, 20 miles an hour.
So you missed the sidewalk, though, and you were able to just keep going.
And the thing just like stayed back, didn't pursue, nothing like that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I kept driving and see, the thing about that spot, because I thought back on it.
And the thing about that spot is it's really dark back there.
there's not really any street lamps on that side, anything like that.
And so it's like pitch black almost.
And so I did look in the mirror and I didn't see anything.
But I was like, it is possible that like without any lights on it,
that it was just, you know, in the dark.
Yeah.
I couldn't see it.
But because I did just keep going.
Yeah.
That's one of the more terrifying things that I've heard firsthand.
That is, yeah, that's what have you?
What do you think it was?
Like is this a, was it connected to the Freemason stuff?
Is it like, wow, there are demons around this place.
Like, what do you think?
So the first thing that I thought was, okay, like obviously, you know, in the headlights, it's dark, whatever.
There was either like some kind of optical illusion or this person had a mask or it was just trying to scare me, something like that.
And so like I said, I didn't really know all that much about Freemasonry stuff.
before that.
And so for the next couple of days, I want to say like two or three days, I didn't say
anything to anybody because I was like still convincing myself that it must have been a
mask.
I pretty sure that's what I settled on.
Right.
And but then like two or three days later, I'm at my parents' house and my mom just like out
of nowhere goes, hey, did you know that your grandpa was a freemate?
And I was like, I had heard like a couple things about that in the past, but didn't really know any details.
And so she said, I don't know what it is.
And she said, but over the past like week or so, I've been getting this really strong impression that I'm supposed to pray about that.
Whoa.
Like pray over that.
This is your mom saying this to you?
Mm-hmm.
Dude.
So.
Mother's instinct.
Yeah.
So she starts telling me a few details and about like how he left and like when he was there, all of that.
And she said that something happened that caused him to leave and that he won't share like what it is.
And that because my whole mom's side of the family, they're not believers.
She's the only believer on her side.
And so he, we're just very.
weird because apparently you can
only get into the Freemasons
if you believe in a higher power.
But he doesn't.
And so she said that
when something scares him,
he kind of shuts down and
refuses to talk about it.
Interesting. And so
we don't really know exactly
what happened. Even he wouldn't
share it with my grandma either.
And so
then we were
looking it up, kind of like
researching it and things like that. And I might be off about some of this, but this is just
from, you know, like what I gather. Apparently, there are certain oaths that they take sometimes
where if you leave the masons under certain circumstances, then you're essentially cursed.
and that the spiritual effects can follow to members of your family down the line.
What?
Yeah, that's what I was told.
That's at least what one of the oaths involves, whether, you know, how much of that is accurate or not.
And so she was like, oh, but, you know, look at, you know, your, like my side of the family.
And the thing is about them is that, like I said, they're not believers, but their lives seem to have been marked by an unusual amount of bad luck.
Like, we've thought that over the years, you know, not even making any kind of connection to anything other than, oh, just like really bad luck.
And then she said, and then she's like, I was wondering.
She's like, I don't know, you know, how true any of this is, but she said, you know, you're a believer.
And she said, so obviously, if there were any kind of, you know, negative spiritual effects, it's not going to affect you, like, in the same way.
And she said, but she was like, I have, to be honest, she's like, I have thought over the years that there are a lot of really weird, unexplainable things that happen to you.
And I was like, that's interesting.
And I was like, because I've thought that many times as well.
And she's like, yeah, things that seem to be like almost outside of your control.
And I was like, yeah, I was like, I have thought that.
And so long story short, I ended up telling her about what happened when I was driving by the temple.
And she was like, oh, she's like, well, she's like, do you want to like talk about that with somebody, you know?
And so I want to say like three, four days like, three, four days.
later or something like that.
I'm talking to a
guy who's affiliated with our church.
He's like a Christian counselor about something else.
And then I, how did it go?
I said, yeah, he basically was just like,
hey, do you have any Freemasonry in your family line?
He just randomly asked that?
Yeah, pretty much.
Wow.
Yeah, and I was just like, yeah, it's funny that you should ask that.
and so I started I started sharing like some of the details and he was like okay he was like because
he's like I have like some experience with this some background in this and certain things
that you've told me seem to kind of overlap with other people that I know who have either
like come out of it like come out of Freemasonry or you know just somehow affiliated with it
and so it wasn't you know nothing really interesting happened
And he was just like, okay, so, you know, you, if that's the case, you know, if there's like something, you know, affecting your family or whatever it is.
He's like, let's just pray about it, you know, like ask the Lord to remove it, like take it away.
Yeah.
So we just prayed.
Like I said, nothing happened.
But then this is where it gets really weird.
So I know the, I know the-
It hasn't gotten really weird yet.
The flabeless demigorgon, the flabeless demigorgon was pretty interesting.
Now, it was child's play.
This kind of like brought it home that there was like something real going on, however that looks.
So I'm driving back to my house, and I call my mom, and I'm like, hey, I was like, you wouldn't believe what the counselor just like pulled out of nowhere.
and she was like, free masonry.
She was like, she just had like, you know, she just had this sense.
So like, that's what it was.
And so I was like telling her like what we had talked about.
And then it was almost as if like her voice started fading into the background.
Like her voice started getting quieter and quieter and quieter.
And I'm like checking the volume on my phone.
And I'm like, you know, something.
not normal is happening with my phone.
And then, but like replacing her voice was like this growing scream.
Oh, dude.
It was like the deep, it was like the deepest, like most guttural scream like I have ever heard.
And so I was like, okay, this, I was like, this has to be like static, like something, you know, this isn't a scream, whatever.
So I look at my phone and the screen is swiping like right to left.
and like apps are opening and closing.
And I can hear the screams still, like through the speaker.
And so I hang up, like I hit the power button.
It turns off.
Turn it back on.
And I didn't know that my dad had been listening to the phone call.
And so I call him back and I'm like, hey, did you hear that?
And my dad goes, the demonic screaming.
Yeah, I heard that.
And I was like, I was like, okay.
And I was like, it sounded like a scream.
I was like, it wasn't just me.
And see, the thing about my dad is that he is, I mean, he grew up Southern Baptist.
Like, he's not somebody who looks for, you know, super spiritual explanations.
Not like a wild Pentecostal kind of tradition.
Right.
Yeah.
Right.
Exactly.
And he's, yeah, he's not looking for things like that.
He's going to assume there's like a natural explanation.
But like his first thing was, yeah, he's.
He's like, I heard the demonic screaming.
And he goes, I don't know what that was.
And he was like, but I heard that.
And he was like, I started praying down angels.
Dude, good dad.
That's the wrong response.
That's crazy.
He's like calling an airstrikes.
Michael, we're going to need you right now.
There's a, there's a Freemason Redeemant.
He's a flapless demigorgon.
We're going to need you to strike.
Three, two, one target.
Engage.
That's like the list.
Do you remember?
Taylor, have you ever seen Skinwalker Ranch?
I was going to ask the same thing.
Okay.
Do you remember the part where they're at the mason?
with Thomas Warner.
And the guy, he's some kind of like guess that they have on to test stuff.
And his phone is going.
It's like, now there's no screams.
That's an added like terrifying detail.
Right.
But his phone is like winging out doing a similar thing, opening apps and swiping and turning
itself, it turned itself off and back on again at one point.
Like crazy how it interferes with that electromagnetism and stuff like that.
And they had even more where the phone would like all of a sudden do this weird line thing.
Yeah, yeah.
And they could only replicate.
it by bringing the phone close to an extremely powerful magnet.
Yes.
It was like multiple technology related things.
And they never explained it.
That was the same time that Travis Taylor, he got all swimming headed.
Oh, swimming hit.
And he was like about to pass out.
And no one else, there was like a bunch of people around and no one else was feeling it.
And he was literally like passing out.
And then he got radiation burns.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Did you get radiation burns?
I did not.
Okay.
Well, that's good.
Yeah, that's good.
I'm glad to hear that.
It's interesting, like, kind of going back to the demigorgian thing, the whole Masonic tradition is this esoteric, like Hermes Trismegistus, Greek and Egyptian syncretism.
And if you look at some of the pantheon, especially in the Egyptian tradition, there's so many just straight up monsters.
Terrifying monsters. If you were to see them, you would think that is a terrifying monster.
It's like Lovecraftian. And it's crazy how you're passing this esotempor.
And you see a cloaked being, this this humanoid chimera monster thing that really does.
Like if you, it doesn't, it's not a big leap to think that that's what, you know,
that's what the Egyptians were seeing when they were doing these, these rights and rituals.
And that's crazy to me.
How, how it was like that explicit of a connection for you.
That's, that's wild.
Yeah, it was, yeah, unlike both of those experiences were, uh, nothing that I had a
reference point for. Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, and then what was interesting was, you know, my mind is
still at that point thinking that there has to be, you know, like some kind of other explanation.
Like I'm trying to explain it away. And, and so I forget what the podcast was, but like that day,
the rest of the day, I was praying about it. And I was thinking, okay,
like, Lord, if there is something that you, if this was, you know, a spiritual thing,
and there is anything else that you, you know, want me to know, or you want to reveal,
I was like, then, you know, like, let me know.
And, like, the next day I was listening to a podcast and it's popular.
I'm trying to, what was it?
I can't remember which one it was, but there's a guy on there.
and they go and they investigate, you know, spiritual stuff.
And they always start the episode saying that they don't believe in the supernatural.
And that everything has a logical explanation.
And the guy, and they've done hundreds, possibly like thousands of episodes.
It's a big one.
And the guy starts the episode by saying, he's like, okay, guys, he's like, I don't know exactly what happened.
He's like, but he's like, I want you guys to know that.
I had an experience and he's like, I'm still trying to figure out exactly what it was, but I believe in the supernatural now. Wow. And he was like, so he's like, I'm on a journey, basically. And he said, there is a recording that I'm going to play at the end of this episode. And he's like, he's like, don't want to be dramatic. And he was like, but as you, as I said, it changed my perspective on the supernatural. And he's like, so listen at your own discretion. Was it astonishing legends?
I think it was.
When they went to the Sally house?
Was it the Sally house?
Yes, that's what it was.
And the EVP?
Dude.
Yeah.
Was that what it sounded like on the phone?
That's what it's.
Okay.
I'm sorry.
Whoa, bro.
Let him cook.
Sorry.
That, yeah.
So I listened to the whole thing and then that came on and I was like, boom.
I was like, that's what I heard.
Dude.
I was like, that's exactly what I heard.
Yeah.
And then I went and I talked to my pastor and wanted to tell.
him and he was like, okay, he's like, that's very interesting.
He said because he's like two or three months ago, he was like, I got the impression
that I was supposed to start, like, learning more about this stuff.
And he said, I have been learning about it and things have been coming to me, like information
is being presented to me without me, you know, like going to searching it out.
And he said, but he's like, you're the first person.
since then to come to me
and tell me about like an experience that you've had.
And he was like, so he was like, that's crazy.
And he's like, but thank you.
He's like, I'm kind of taking that as like confirmation
that I'm supposed to like continue like learning more about this stuff.
Wow.
Well, yeah.
I mean, it's a whole, if you ask me,
it's a whole aspect of even pastoral ministry that kind of in our modern day
where, you know, we have fallen victim to some of the material,
even in the church. Like, I think that's an aspect of pastoral ministry that's, that's generally
neglected. Or maybe not neglected with any malice, but just kind of like glossed over, not really
thought about, kind of ignored out of ignorance, you know, more than anything else. That's really
fascinating, man. I mean, it, man, I lost my train of thought. There was something else that I thought
when you were saying that.
But, Hey, Ben, I just read that our great-grandparents probably experimented with butter
on their dry skin as a moisturizer.
Is that why you look so radiant?
Maybe it's grandma's butter recipe, or maybe it's Grato Tallow.

Oh, I remember what it was.
With the recording from that podcast episode and your phone, demon scream, as your dad said,
it always makes me think of when Christ is talking about the abyss and the place where
they'll be weeping and gnashing of teeth, particularly in Luke, he talks about that.
And then Jude talking about, you know, false teachers and how they're, like, they're reserved
for utter darkness.
Again, there's the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
And the first time I heard that episode,
it's nice that there's a reference point
for what kind of what was on your phone
that I'm aware of.
That was the first thing that came to mind.
Yeah, same.
This is a hateful sound.
It's also like agony.
It's pure agony.
Just so we kind of buried the lead a little bit on it.
The story behind the podcast episode
is that Scott Philbrook and Forrestes
who are the co-host of Astonishing Legends,
they go to Atchison, Kansas.
and there's this house that's allegedly haunted.
They tell the whole story of it.
We've done episodes on it.
A two-parter on it, yeah.
On the house.
And some of the, it is crazy, some of the stories.
But they had this one digital recorder.
It's an early digital recorder.
And ghost hunters, you know, swear by it.
You get great EVPs with this, they say.
Electronic Voice phenomenon.
Don't do this, by the way.
Don't go ghost hunting.
Don't try to talk to demons.
It's bad.
It's all bad.
I would have told Scott this to Scott Philbrook.
If he asked me, Scott,
call me up. Can I call you Scott? I feel like we're friends. But they basically did this.
They put the recorder on a table. They said, hey, you know, Sally, we want to talk to you.
Do you want to have a message for us? I'm going to leave this recorder here, talk into it,
and I'm going to leave the room. You hear him step out of the room, close the door.
And then there's like eight or three minutes of the recorder being in voice activation mode,
which only turns on when it registers sound. And then you just hear this. They go over.
it, they literally send it to a forensic audiologist who works like the FBI and have it analyzed
and he says, I can't replicate it in the recorder. I don't know how this sound got in. But what it
sounds like is that it blew out the microphone, that it was the air moving, not just digital
interference, which makes no sense because they were around, they were in the house when it happened,
not in the room. And they know that there was no sound in that room. And the sound is like the most
rage-filled guttural screaming,
mixed with this weird garbled sound of almost like
a hundred people talking at the same time.
Don't go listen to it.
It's actually probably horrible and I think it's demons.
It's horrifying to listen to.
But it is wild that you would hear that and go,
that's what I heard.
Man, that's terrifying.
Because that's one of the only things I've ever listened to
that genuinely scared me.
Yeah.
Because I listened to it and I was like,
this is, that was a demon.
I remember when I first heard it,
I've told this story before, I think, on the show.
I was at work.
I was an engineer at the time.
And I was just listening to the podcast in the background
while I'm like writing away at a report or something like that.
And that came on.
And I literally like stopped and went outside and was praying.
Yeah.
Because I was like, no, that's messed up, dude.
And Scott had the same experience.
That was a moment in his life.
I hope that he comes to know Christ because that was a moment in his life
where it became like, yeah, is the supernatural?
real. I don't know. I'm a real skeptic too. It's real. He said, I don't care if somebody else
thinks that they can explain that recording. We've tried everything. They went to Ham Radio
Specialist, everybody and said, what is this? They said, we don't know. That's a demon. And he was
like, I don't care if anybody else tells me, I think it was this. I know it was a demon. I know
that it was this. There was also the added kind of baggage. And this is similar to your mom and dad
interacting through this with you, Taylor. Like Scott had his son with him on the trip.
Now, his son was not in the house.
Yeah.
But he was like, he was like, my son was in danger.
Like I, I, I, I, he like ran out of the house and refused to go back in.
Yeah.
It's, that's it, that's an amazing story.
And I mean, one of the positives is just the, the testament to kind of the awareness of your parents and praying for you and being there for you.
And even like that motherly instinct to just, uh, to listen, you know, for like, what is, what is.
what is my son needing me to pray for right now?
Yeah, the spirit leads.
Yeah, like that kind of covenantal power.
Negatively with your grandfather in the masons,
but then positively with your own mom and dad,
like, praise God for that.
That's amazing.
Was there anything else to the story?
Anything else happened since then or any other layers to it?
No.
I was just thinking that I was glad that there was somebody else who was there to hear what I
heard.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, so that they can always be like, yep, that definitely happened.
That happened.
Yeah.
It was there.
The only other thing I can think of, which isn't, you know, necessarily anything, is that I never saw, like, free masonry stuff, symbolism, anything like that, just growing up.
And, like, since then, I've seen it for some reason, like, everywhere.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And if I pull up to the gas station and in front of me is a giant, like the whole windshield of this guy's car is the Masonic temple.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And so, yeah, I told my pastor that and he was like, he's like, well, he's like, well, he's like, maybe it's just now that you know that something like this is real for people, then it's like opportunities to pray.
opportunities, more opportunities to share the gospel, you know, things like that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, can I close this out?
Go ahead.
Before we end, thanks,
thanks, Taylor, so much for your time.
We really appreciate it.
I just want to leave our audience with an exhortation on this because this stuff can be
really interesting.
One of the lures of the Freemasonry of the esoteric is this promise of secret knowledge.
It's the Gnostic, you know, I will whisper secret, powerful truths in your ear.
if you will just take the, go through the next door of initiation and the next right and take the next
vow and come into the next inner ring of spiritual influence and higher up the echelons.
And this is Freemasonry. This is how they get you in this big front door and then they bring you up
through it. And my exhortation and admonition is just don't go through those doors.
There is no knowledge of benefit. There is no spiritual power on the other side of those doors
that are going to serve you. They only seek to steal, kill, kill, and destroy. And they promise
what they can't deliver. You see it even in this story that it's the power of Christ that protects
a line even from the sins of forefathers. And the demons keep trying to get in. But if we will trust the
Lord and keep the door closed, then they have no real power over us. So keep taking up the sword
of the spirit. We're the full armor of God. And but when you do, maybe the Lord in this
Providence.
We've something like this in your story.
Know that Christians, we don't just play defense.
We play offense.
Like 2nd Corinthians 10, 3 to 5 says that we don't, you know, we're not just wrestling
with spiritual, you know, with physical things, but we have divine power to tear down
strongholds and dismantle every lofty argument raised against the knowledge of God.
So don't fear.
Don't go through the door, but also don't live in fear.
The demons should fear the Christian.
The demons should fear Christ, who is.
is our king. So we hope that this was helpful and that that even points you, what do we do
in a story like this? That's what we do. We pray against the strongholds of Satan and we make war
in the spiritual places by faith and by the grace of God. So thanks for listening, guys. We hope this
was a good episode for you. Thanks again to our guests for joining us and giving us this time.
