Starting point is 00:00:00 This episode is brought to you by Indigo Sundry Soap Company. Clean soap, cleaner body. In this episode of the graveyard shift, we hear from a man named Connor, who basically experienced all of Skinwalker Ranch within about 10 minutes on a California beach. It can only be described as a large quadrupedal creature with a sharp pointed face that came galloping out of the surf. First time I heard this story, by the way, was, I believe, at my dinner table. Lowercase WUT period. All the kids are like screaming.
Starting point is 00:00:31 Yeah. Of a micea. Over there. A micea. Thomas Winterton. They had their flea camera. Thomas Winterton and I. The horse demon thing that ran out of the ocean was in fact the Shetland Pony from hell.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Then it changed into the... He has shockingly clammy hands. Why do you know that so well? You hold hands pancake or a French fry, though. Hey, everybody. Welcome to the fourth installment of the Honocosmos Graveyard Shift. Very happy to be here with all of you. and with my co-host, Brian Sovey.
Starting point is 00:01:08 We are getting stoked. How are you guys liking Graveyard Shift so far? Let us know in the comments. Like, subscribe. Leave us a 10-star review, wherever they have those. And nowhere is the answer. That's true. And you can comment 10 out of five.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Yeah, that's what we need. 10 out of five comments. Also here with a very special guest, Mr. Connard. What's going on, Ben? Yeah, say hello to the people. Happy to be here. Yes. So good to have you.
Starting point is 00:01:33 But before we get into the story that we have, And it is a juicy one. I've heard it several times. The first time I heard this story, by the way, was I believe, at my dinner table. Yeah. And I was just like W-U-T. Casually dropped it at the day.
Starting point is 00:01:48 It was like, lowercase W-U-T, period. All the kids are like screaming. Yeah. This actually happened. And you're like, yeah. I think your kids were just laughing. They were. And you were so like,
Starting point is 00:02:00 which they don't know. You were so understated about it that it was like, yeah, you know, like I went to Smith today. I got a couple of red. It's a lot like your posterior body. Like we spent, a listener.
Starting point is 00:02:15 It's understated. We spent about five minutes before we started recording talking about how good of a glute muscle Connor has. Now look, we're not trying to make anyone stumble, but comment how handsome you think Connor is. He's taken, he's married,
Starting point is 00:02:30 he has children, leave him alone. But before we get into this great story, let's give us above board. Ladies, Ladies are not allowed to comment how handsome Connor is. Only guys. Only men. Thank you. That's righteousness. Only if you say no homo, though. Well, it's implied.
Starting point is 00:02:42 But it's implied. How old were you when the story that you're going to tell today took place? Well, it was in 2017. So I think it was about 19. Wow. 19 years young. Dang. So that makes you 28. I'm 26. Maybe I did the math. Okay. Wait. Well, I think I did the math.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I guess maybe I was 18 then. Yeah. Anyways. Anyways. But you were with your now wife. My now wife. Y'all were dating at the time? Correct.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Okay. Yeah. We had some weird stuff happen in the first of all. I mean, if you did. Yeah. Like, this is just one of many. This is one of, okay.
Starting point is 00:03:22 That kind of takes the cake. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to have you tell the story. We're just going to kind of let you not interrupt a lot. Just let you tell the story. And then we might have some questions afterward. Okay. Some follow up.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Some like, wait what kind of questions let me let if if i may yeah you lay a little bit of context down to the listener if you're not a patron of the show then you will not recognize connor that's true actually if you are a patron of the show you might remember connor from a dusty tome from quite a long time ago where we had him tell his story and brian and i obnoxiously interrupted him the entire time constantly such that you probably have no idea what the story is even if you went back and listened right now So we're going to let you actually tell the story. Yeah, we are.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Do you want like the whole shebang, like all the details? Do you get us the whole shebang? Get us, get us deep. I want you to. Storytelling voice. Yes. In a world. In a world.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Tell us the whole thing. Set it up. How, you know, how did you end up in this situation? What happened? It all started in 1997 when I was born. Okay. So we got to go way back. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:32 Let's hear it. Brian, I got bad news. The other day, I was using one of the big box soap products to wash myself, and I got this weird urge to go buy a Stanley cup and fill it with iced coffee. And it started to feel a little cold in the house. I just wanted to wrap myself up in like a heavy wool blanket. And then also, I started Googling ticket prices to Taylor Swift concerts. Ben, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:04:56 Don't you know that these big box soap companies just jam all their soaps full of hormone-disrupting chemicals? they're probably turning you into a girl. Well, I know that now, but what am I supposed to do about it? Ben, you ignorant normie, all you've needed to do is go to indigo sundry soap.com and support a great Christian family business that's making all sorts of soaps that are completely free of hormone disrupting chemicals and other nasties. Okay, I am literally going to indigo sundry soap.com right now. Tell me what to buy.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Ben, what I would recommend doing is clicking on bundles and then selecting the best one for you. You could get the men's six-pack. You could get my favorite, the clay bundle. Ooh, I like the pipe and jug bundle. That seems cool. Or a men six pack, because that'll make me feel like I have something that I actually don't. So true, King. And you know what else I heard?
Starting point is 00:05:43 Because they're such good friends of the show, Indigo Sundry's Soap Company is offering 10% off your order if you just use all caps, discount code, haunted cosmos, no spaces. Wait, Brian, you're going way too fast. I didn't get all that. Is that information in the show description? Ben, you ignorant normie. It's always in the show description.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Okay, so I'm going to go to indigosundry soap.com. I'm going to pick the men's six-pack bundle, and I'm going to use code Haunted Cosmos at checkout, all caps, no spaces. And if I forgot all that, it's in the description of the show. Of course, Ben. And if you just do that, then you will stop wanting to do all of those girly things, and maybe you'll, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:06:19 maybe want to buy a classic car to restore or something dignified. How many demons, ghosts, or vampires are lurking in your investment portfolio? All right, so it was a cool fall evening, 2017. My wife and I, just dating at the time, sat on a beach in San Diego, watching the sunset and enjoying one another's company. We were unfortunately not Christian at the time,
Starting point is 00:07:27 but we were self-proclaimed spiritual people, whatever that meant. We had an interest in the otherworldly, but in no means we're seeking it. And it's worth noting, due to the nature of the occurrence, we were indeed of sober mind. So on that evening, as the sun dropped below the horizon, and the stars appeared in the sky, we remained talking the night away alone on the beach
Starting point is 00:07:50 without a care in the world. As we gazed into the sky and the waves gently laughed at our feet, we began to notice an abnormality at the horizon. Do you like the descriptive? This is amazing. This is so good. I am immersed right now.
Starting point is 00:08:05 Evan's going to have a field date with this. I'm descending into the story. I hope so. You know, keep it, keep it going. Anyways. You want a job with Hanna Cosmos? You know, I got four days off. I could work that in.
Starting point is 00:08:19 A pale blue light gently moved at a great distance. It's probably just a ship, I suggested. And we remained conversing. Five or so minutes went by, and that distant ship appeared to be doing the impossible. lifting out of the water. As it rose into the dark night sky, the single light split almost like replicating cells, one into two, and then quickly four.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Those four pale blue lights demanded our attention lazily moving through the sky. This was rather strange to us, but it was hastily dismissed as a satellite or something similar. Around this time, another abnormality came to our attention, The distinct sound of drumming in a cave, not 200 yards down the beach, illuminated by the warm glow and flicker of a fire. Once again, our youthful ignorance excused this as some hippy drum circle, certainly not harming us. We watched the strange orbs lull through the night sky, almost like our own personal light show. This was until we noted that they were moving in what looked like a pattern and somewhat of a figure eight. They were gaining in speed and intensity.
Starting point is 00:09:31 I was getting uneasy, but still, I was trying to remain cool and collected for my new girlfriend. I didn't want to give the impression that I startled easily, especially at silly things like lights in the sky, or a couple of hippies with a drum. I suggested that we should get going as it was getting late, probably an hour or more after sunset. She agreed to my relief. As we got up, I heard the drums intensify. And once again, I glanced up at the now familiar orbs in the sky. As we walked hand in hand, there was an urgency as we walked the quarter of mile so to the stairs to leave. The drums were fading at our backs, but another noise was taking its place.
Starting point is 00:10:13 A sound that could only be likened to a reverberating, wushing of a helicopter enveloped us from all directions. Coming at us with ever-growing volume and intensity from all angles. We were running at this point. and it filled our ears until we could not even hear one another's shouting. It was at this climactic time when I saw what still sends shivers down my spine to this day. It could only be described as a large quadrupedal creature with a sharp pointed face that came galloping out of the surf. It was only a silhouette and for a moment. But as I looked back in terror, it was gone and a new character appeared.
Starting point is 00:10:56 A transient looking old lady with an empty. appearance, sat coldly staring into the distance. She was not there before. We were sure of it. As we went scrambling up to the parking lot, a deep feeling of dread saturated my being to my bones. We reached the car and sped off, feeling lucky to have escaped this unknown, mysterious force. It's like hearing it for the first time. It's just, I have so many thoughts. And questions. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Questions first. Yeah, okay. So, So let me just make sure I have the order right.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Yes. So you're that nice be. Well done. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. I actually wrote that two years ago. And y'all didn't let me tell it.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Yeah. So that's, man, we really missed out. That is why we're doing this now. Okay. So you are, you know,
Starting point is 00:11:51 nice classic San Diego. You guys lived in California at the time. San Diego. Classic date night in San Diego. You got your girl, you got the, beach, you're chatting, you're looking out. You're like, man, don't I look strong?
Starting point is 00:12:04 She's like, yeah, you do look strong. Wow, that's amazing. Weren't you really skinny at the time? I was kind of a string being at the time. Yeah, all right. Well, she knew you could. She was like, he's got the jeans. Yeah, she saw the potential.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Yeah, there you saw the potential. So you're, you're just sitting there. All of a sudden, you have some UAP going on. Affirmative. Some aerial phenomena. What is this? Is it? And this is kind of like 2017.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Drones existed. Yeah. You know, but drones have gotten so much better. year and more cheap and available. They were only for like big nerds at the time. Yeah, like you'd be spending a ton of money to like put together multiple drones that are all in a swarm that like with parallax look like they're one thing and then split and split again. That happens. Fast forward hippie drum circle in the cave.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Did you see those people beforehand? No. Like. No, and the way that the beach we were on is essentially their parking lot is kind of at the top of the cliffs. Okay. And then you have a set of stairs and switchbacks that kind of go down probably about 100 feet. Yeah. From the parking lot down to the beach.
Starting point is 00:13:06 And then it's kind of a series of cliffs and craggy little bits that go back and kind of like cave-esque type deals going on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's cool spot. Yeah, I guess a lot of places for strange folks to do weird things as well. Was it like a switch turned on and all of a sudden the drums were just there and you didn't see anybody go over there? it was just no we know we didn't notice anybody i don't know if we were just so you know
Starting point is 00:13:32 invested in our conversation or what was going on yeah i was trying to be a cool guy yeah i don't know takes a lot of energy for some for me at least you know me too yeah yeah um but yeah me not for man he's effortless especially after losing all that weight man dude he is effortlessly good okay so that's next then what was the next part after that was it the we should go the lights are getting Is that what it was? No, we kind of just sat. We sat and watched for a while. Because we saw the light on the horizon,
Starting point is 00:14:04 and it was kind of at the very far horizon. And there's trade routes and ships and everything. I'm like, it's probably a ship or, you know. Then we kind of saw it, you know, drifting from the far horizon up into the sky. I'm like, oh, weird. Not a ship. Not a ship.
Starting point is 00:14:19 I guess it's a satellite, which, you know. Elon Musk wasn't doing anything too crazy at the time, but, you know, they were out there. Yeah. But yeah, so that flew up in the sky. And then it started doing some meiosis, if you will. Oh, nice. Good use.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Splitting from one to another. Good use. It's 10th grade biology. You know what? Is it myiosis or mitosis? I don't know. I remember that and mitochondria being the powerhouse of the cell. Yeah, mitochondria at the powerhouse this cell.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Everybody knows that. Everybody knows that. Yeah. So you got the lights. What is it that made you stand up and say, like, we should go? That's the part I was trying to remember. You know, I think I just started to get kind of uneasy. Like uneas.
Starting point is 00:14:58 Yeah. But you just said like, it's late. Yeah. We should head out. Because it was probably, you know, it was a while after the sun went down. We were kind of night owls. Yeah. You just like find any reason to be out.
Starting point is 00:15:08 You got your girl. You got the beach. Yeah. Yeah. What could go wrong? I mean, what could go wrong? Apparently a lot. So the, it was after sunset that you saw the lights.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Obviously. It was also after sunset that you started to hear the drumming and see like the, the, the fire flickering in the cave. Yes. I'm not making that up, right? You saw like a light coming out of the cave. There was a light. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:30 There was a distinct light. How long after sunset was that? Do you, like, it was dark. It was like, it was properly dark. So it wasn't just, you know, dusk or anything like that. So it was, it was probably an hour after sunset. And then how, like, estimate how long you were watching, how long this whole thing happened. Like, from the, from seeing the lights to,
Starting point is 00:15:55 the creepy old demon lady as you all were running up the stairs. I would want to say probably in the time frame of about 45 minutes to when I were. Oh, so that's like a lengthy. Yeah. And then what time, do you remember what time it was when you got back in the car? I want to say it was like roughly 10-ish. I am insisting that there's missing time somehow.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Oh, Ben's fishing for missing time. I'm going to insist that somehow, even though we have no way of proving it, there was a time. Did you go back to like Marianne? Antoinette's Paris. It's possible. Anything like that? It's possible.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I don't quite remember it. You just wouldn't remember it. Really, if you say we don't remember it, anything could happen. Did you see Elvis? You're on the beach. You're playing it cool. You're like, hey, hey, girl, let's go. Let's get back to the car.
Starting point is 00:16:41 It's getting late. I got to get you home in a recent time. I'm a gentleman. It's kind of late. You're really terrified, dripping sweat. What I love, by the way, what I love is that like not a word shared between you guys
Starting point is 00:16:54 because of the whooshing of the helicopter, but you're both running. Yeah. This is the one of the, okay, the weird thing coming out of the ocean is pretty weird. But it actually, one of the weirder elements that is,
Starting point is 00:17:04 could get lost is that as you walked, the helicopter noise, you never saw a helicopter. And it was like coming from all directions. Correct. Right? Like it was filling the air. Correct.
Starting point is 00:17:17 And it was light enough for you to see the old lady and the beast, even though it was dark out. I will say, like, at the beach with, I think, the moon and everything, it never gets, like, never gets super dark. Right, right. But that's what I'm saying is, like, you would think that because it was light enough to see all that, if it had been a helicopter, right. You would have at least been like, there's the helicopter.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Right. What would a helicopter be, like, that close to hear it that loud? Like, what would it be doing? How close is that? And there was, like, the Coronado Training Center or something. It's probably 30, 30 miles north. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Okay. So not that close. Like, not right next. No. Okay. Certainly not. Okay. Do you know. Navy Seals?
Starting point is 00:17:57 Back when I was in buds. Yeah? I was never in buds. That was stolen powder. That was totally. It was like an attempted stolen power. Very poorly done. No, that is interesting.
Starting point is 00:18:06 I didn't think about. So the, I just want to talk through all the elements of this that are making me think of a ton of other stories that we see. So there's a lot of Skinwalker Ranch. Yes. Adjacency with, especially with the drumming.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Yeah, that's true. Do you remember when they had that? that native group in. Yes. Like, and they were doing the drumming and then the spiral on top of the Mesa started heating up on a Mesa. Thomas Winter did they had their Fleer camera. Thomas Winnett.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Forward looking to the grass in the sky. But they were, they had the native. This is what they always do in these shows. They have my people out. Yeah, yeah. No, they have a native. The native way. And they're like, let's find the most nativey natives that we can find.
Starting point is 00:18:49 And they come out and then they make up a bunch of stuff about their oral tradition. It's just made up. They didn't write anything down. Like, it's just made up. They couldn't even spell. And they start drumming. I'm like offending every single person. But he's native, so it's okay.
Starting point is 00:19:03 I'm native, it's fine. I'm Chippewa. So you start drumming, and it was weird because it had gotten dark. Nothing should be getting hotter. Right. There's no heat energy being put into the system. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:15 And the spiral just started. It was very localized, like right there on spiral. So that made me think of Skimwalker Ranch. Like there's this drumming and, in league with the drumming, there's lights in the sky. It did seem to be somewhat correlated. Like a symbiotic thing where they're calling. Like the faster they're drumming,
Starting point is 00:19:31 the harder the lights are going in their little formations. Yeah, see, that's... Okay, then the other thing that I was thinking, you remember the listeners won't have heard this yet, but in a future episode of Hanna Cosmos, you'll hear us tell a story about Orfeo Angeloucci. Yeah. And he saw one orb,
Starting point is 00:19:48 and then it went up in the sky, split into two. Yeah. And those two came back down. And what was manifested from those two was a mental image of beings. Yes. So it wasn't like a being ran up to him. But it was similar in that like from the orbs there eventually came the manifestation of this thing. He was interacting with them.
Starting point is 00:20:11 Yeah. He discerned. And a lot of, a lot of UAP encounters that aren't even of the kind where there's an alien scene or some, you know, a legend. alien, they will still get the sense that the thing, the phenomenon is interacting with them specifically. Like, did you have any feeling that they knew, that it knew that you were watching it
Starting point is 00:20:37 and it was doing this for you? Or was it just like, huh, I wonder what that is. I felt like from our perspective, we were more so a fly on the wall of what was going on with these cave hippies. But you were still feeling this like weight of dread. Yeah. See, and that, like, that's almost personal a little bit.
Starting point is 00:20:54 That's scary. My meta theory is that the lights were, of course, demonic orbs, as we all know. Obviously. And the thing that, the horse demon thing that ran out of the ocean. The Shetland Pony from Hell. Yeah, the Shetland Pony from Hell. Was, in fact, the Shetland Pony from Hell. And then it changed into the old woman.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Yes. And she now walks among us as a demonic watcher. Nancy Pelosi. Yes. Who's trying to. The origin story. Well, this is kind of how the abductions happen, right? Is they like take human form.
Starting point is 00:21:34 Well, not all the time. They take human form and then they try to like recruit people and then they're trying to get that hybrid seed. Yeah, that is a shockingly common refrain in the stories. Like a very creepily recurring theme. And so what if we're getting a glimpse into like the dance? Some of the physical means that are being used to actually. Like they're trying to figure it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Wait, wait. What do people like to see? Weird crazy demon horses. No, no, that's not right. Wait, no, a person. An old woman who just appears out of nowhere. Did she ever point like a bony finger at you and say, I will get you, Connor? It kind of felt like she was going to.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Okay. Did she look at you? now she just had like this, like dead looking her eye of just like looking out. How far away from you was she? Well, she was kind of sitting right at where the switchbacks to go back up to the parking lot were. Seriously. Yeah. So we kind of had to like do like a, uh, moment.
Starting point is 00:22:36 Whoa. Yeah. I didn't know he was that close. Yeah. Here's what I want to know. Tell us more about the creature. What did that look like? So I think originally sitting at your dinner table, I described it.
Starting point is 00:22:49 As bigger than a dog, smaller than a horse. Yeah. Head like a traffic cone. That is exactly how you described it. This was the point, listener, where I was like, it was a little Sebastian. Could you repeat that? Little Sebastian.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Because it's like, it's a UAP story with some weird kind of drumming and aerial. And then I'm like, oh, feeling of dread. Oh, this is going to be in the story. They get in their car, they leave. And then all of a sudden, Connor just casually drops. Yeah, then this creepy. like scuttled out of the ocean. It was quadrupedal. It was smaller than a horse, bigger than a dog. And I had traffic cone head. I was like, what? Like, wait.
Starting point is 00:23:28 And he's like, hold on, hold on. Helicopter noises. And then I was like, surely it's over, he's like, hold up. Which being. Yeah, exactly. Maybe morphed from traffic on creature. Yeah. So is that the speculation that the, the, the, the Shetland Pony became the old woman? I mean, I didn't see, I was pretty aware and alert of like what the heck is going. going on. So I feel like I would have noticed a transient on the beach. Right. You know. And you didn't. I did not. She's just there. She's just there. And it and then the time frame of us reaching where she was and us seeing her, it was like right there. So this is what I, all right. So walk me through. You have decided it's time to go. Yes. You start walking. Yes. Helicopter whooshing.
Starting point is 00:24:13 Yes. Start like picking up into a jog maybe. Yeah. Yeah. So okay. We're, we're walking pretty quick. Yeah. And then. then you look back and see the Shetland Pony from hell. Affirmative. And then you turn back and there's the old woman. Like, was it that quick? There was probably about a quarter mile that we had to go. So it kind of started as like a good speedwalk.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Yeah, you know, of walking. We were hand in hand kind of just going for it. Hands getting a little sweaty. Yeah, yeah. My hand's always sweaty. I know. It would have started, you know, if nothing had happened, my hand was a year. He has shockingly clammy hands.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Why do you know that so well? You know what, though? I really do know this. You hold hands pancake or a French fry, though. That matters. See, I... Take about me and Ben. Or Ben and his wife.
Starting point is 00:25:05 It's okay. It's okay if you don't hold him. When my wife and I were dating, we don't hold hands. You know, she would just, like, at random intervals, let go of my hand and wipe her hand on her dress and then, like, put it back. That's where I. This is too... Too clammy. Yeah, it's pretty gross
Starting point is 00:25:21 But I mean, we got married, so You pulled it down. What a winner. Anyway. Yeah, so that part I am a little unclear on. When you saw her, was it like she was in a similar place Or a totally different place than the creature? The old woman.
Starting point is 00:25:38 Yeah. Yeah. So essentially, we were walking down the beach. Yeah. We start hearing the wishing. Yeah. And for the record, there was no air movement. There was no rotor wash.
Starting point is 00:25:47 There was no sand being kicked up. Okay. Yeah, that is important. So the sound is coming from all directions, right? So it's filling our ears. We can't, we're shouting like, what the heck is going on? Yeah. We start running and I look over my shoulder because I kind of catch it out of my periphery. There's some movement on the surf. I look over and I'm like, what the heck is that? To keep going, look back again. It's gone.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Other side of the beach. Old woman. Old woman. Okay. So if it was a morphing situation, it was like a teleporting situation. Like super speed, which I 100% believe is what happened. Right. How fast.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Having not been there. Have you ever clocked an old woman at a full run? That's the thing. Like how fast she could have been really going to move. She could have been pretty quick. Yeah. She had like been dropped from a great height. She could have been pretty quick.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Yeah, because I'm saying like last time I clocked an old woman, she was like six, seven miles an hour tops. That's a full run. And that hip in her hips disintegrate, yeah. Yeah. So if you get like one with a fresh, freshly replaced hip. A fresh hip? Yeah, that could be a different story. That could be part of it.
Starting point is 00:26:59 That's true. The titanium hardware going on. This is just such a weird story that it's so, it's like, it is very Skinwalker Ranch. You have like five different types of things that each of them could be their own. Like, for example, even the helicopter thing. There are some UAP encounters that are take on the shape of no. craft like jets or helicopters, but they don't do the right
Starting point is 00:27:23 thing. They'll like to not have rotors. So it's like they're trying. I just love how you started that. Like some UFOs are actually just helicopters. Is this a joke? For example, people have described seeing tiny F-117s.
Starting point is 00:27:40 Like they're just absurdly, they're not an F-117, obviously, to anybody who's not an idiot. but they kind of look like one or helicopter ones that are not helicopters, they don't have rotors, they do things that they can't do. Like they'll just, just fly like a spaceship. So you believe the aliens are demons? Yeah, I do.
Starting point is 00:28:15 Jake Muller Adventures is an immersive, mysterious, and engaging audio drama. It weaves in meaningful Christian themes and rich sound design with suspenseful storytelling. Check out the Jake Muller Adventures audio drama series at jakemulleradventures.com or you can find them on Spotify, Audible, or Google Play. Hey guys, this is Ray from the band Out of the Graves. It's a sad fact that most of the music that I listen to seems to fall under two categories. One, it's either made by dudes who used to claim Christ 10 years ago and no longer do, or it's made by a bunch of dudes who never claimed Christ at all. Here at New Christenum Press, we say that Christians should make the best art and out of the
Starting point is 00:29:04 Graves is part of that mission. There's a reason we call it post-mill rock and roll. So if you're looking for music to wage war on pagan art, check out Out of the Graves anywhere you listen to music. Hey Ben, I just read that our great-grandparents probably experimented with butter on their dry skin as a moisturizer. Is that why you look so radiant? Maybe it's grandma's butter recipe, or maybe it's Grato Talo. Their tallow products are 100% organic and naturally contain the good stuff your skin craves. No mystery there. So say Say Sianara, Sammy, to kitchen experiments and say hello to healthier skin. Gratottoe Tallow, trusted by skin, envied by great grandma's butter recipe. Starting point is 00:30:06 Cosmos 15. That's all caps, Cosmos 1.5 for 15% off your order. Bing! Let me lay this on you. Lay it on me. All right. Riddle me this. So what if we just assume for the moment that the orbs opened up some kind of portal under the waves, the Shetland Pony came out, became the old woman. Let's just like say that. Let's assume that.
Starting point is 00:30:29 Are there any stories that mirror that? Yes. From the Nids era of Skinwalker Ranch. There were some Skimwalker Ranch. There were some guys that were keeping watch over this like high density activity area. At night. Toward Homestead too. Yeah, toward Homestead too.
Starting point is 00:30:44 They all of a sudden see this portal open and a being crawls out that is humanoid-ish, but it's on all fours. It's very inhuman. And it just kind of goes away into the forest. Now then you have stuff with like the dire wolf, like those wolves that are in killable. What if it was like that but reverse, where they almost came out of the portal more humanoid and then they took on a different form to terrify flip-flop.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Yeah, yeah, yeah. It started as a weird creature. It started as an old lady, if you will. Oh, so you're saying like flip-flop, flip-flop. And then it became the Shetland Pony from Hell. But this one is, it started the Shetland from the hell. It was cryptid-like and then... And then it was more human-like.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Cron-like. Yeah. See the undead little Sebastian? Ben's YouTube titles are on point. And it's so funny to see the difference between the YouTube people and podcast people because for like 10 minutes, we copied the YouTube titles for season five
Starting point is 00:31:54 over to the podcast, and people immediately started tweeting at us. They're like, guys, these are ridiculous titles. And the YouTube people are like, no, I like the all caps, six exclamation points. Clickbait. You got to give the people what they want. It's not clickbait.
Starting point is 00:32:09 we talk. Was Zozo the demon coming for you? Wow. Well, so you got a lot of different phenomena. It's very skin walker, Jason. It's hard to have a unifying theory of Conner's experience other than just WUD. Other than, like, to me, the unifying theory is that somehow all of these things are connected and that they're calling up or calling down, you know, powers. Like I really do think the drumming is important. I don't know, maybe they didn't know that it was important, whoever was drumming, if anyone was drumming. You never saw anyone in the cave, did you? No.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Yeah, okay. So never saw anyone over there in the cave. Did the drumming stop when the wooching came in? Maybe you couldn't hear it. I don't think we could hear it. Because we're also a ways away at that thing. We're starting back. But I'm just like, you know,
Starting point is 00:33:02 maybe the unified theory is that somehow all these things are connected. Yeah. Like somehow sound really does have a way of tapping into things that we're unfamiliar with that we should probably just like not try to tap into. And somehow it attracts the UFOs. Somehow a portal opens under the water. It's been at his most schizzo. And of course, if you drum, a demon horse will get you.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Yeah. Drums are from hell. Some little kids listening to this. practicing his drums in his basement, he just stops. Yeah. I don't want the demon horse to get me. No, I mean, if you're a drummer, Martina McBride, if you're a drummer, then like, you need to repent.
Starting point is 00:33:48 That's right. Martina McBride, actually, excellent drummer. Yeah, great drummer. You know, it's funny. A couple of friends and I were talking about what instruments would probably be in heaven. Yeah. And we were saying probably everything except for drums, because drums are going to be in hell.
Starting point is 00:34:03 What? I would take that. Wow. You guys drum hate drum disrespect. No, we don't hate drums. It's just like, if you got to be... We just want him to go to hell. No, if you got to be neighbors with somebody.
Starting point is 00:34:15 I am neighbors with a guy who practices his drums. That's rough. I grew up, I grew up next to a guy who practiced drums. His name was Doug, and he always knew when Doug was jamming. Was he good in the cave? He was actually kind of good. Thinking back on it. Yeah, but it's still...
Starting point is 00:34:28 Yeah. There's a difference to, like, a jazz drummer versus, like, Danny Carey from Tool. Like, just blasting where, yeah, double kick. Everything is a double kick. He's like playing Mary had a little lamb with a double. Well, look, that's an insane story. It really is. I have made all the connections that I had.
Starting point is 00:34:48 I have questions, though. Okay, okay. No, I have more because other things, you've had other experiences or, or what, anything else? Man, not for this episode. Anything strange? Huh?
Starting point is 00:34:58 Just in general? In general. Man, my wife's had some weird stuff happen. Really? Yeah. Anything you can give us a little just, just a little, you know, like a taste of. It was, you know, like did a poltergeist ever steal your.
Starting point is 00:35:12 A lot of weird, yeah, just that. A lot of weird poltergeist type activity.
