Starting point is 00:02:39 be most helpful. And well, get us help, you know, perhaps get us closer to that that millionth pod bean download. That's just pod bean. We had way more than that way back when Ben Birch was running the White Rose Society and almost single-handedly saving progressive broadcasting
Starting point is 00:03:12 by, well, by making progressive programming available from lots of different creators. But for Podbean alone, gosh, what, maybe 12, 13 years or so. But, yeah, probably about that. Yeah, about 12 years. will eventually God willing and the creek don't rise will eventually
Starting point is 00:03:46 reach that millionth download probably somewhere around January or February sooner if we get more engagement with the algorithm and more people start tuning in and we make new friends
Starting point is 00:04:01 and hear from new voices and hear new ideas so thanks to those of you who already do and thanks for tuning in live for those of you you who are part of the live program, thank you ever so kindly for joining us that way.
Starting point is 00:04:14 If you'd like to pop by the old holler tree that we sublet from the Keebler elves and keep in the chat room tab at head on dot live, well, thank you. You're more than welcome and
Starting point is 00:04:32 a good time will be had by all, right? Yeah. It is Thorn and Aside to Thursday, here at the Horn and I can well note that
Starting point is 00:04:46 every program here at the Horn begins with gratitude and this program is no different so thanks go out to our 24th day of the month
Starting point is 00:05:11 subscribers via PayPal and contributors via PayPal thank you ever so kindly to Samson. Thank you, Samson. And thanks as well, to Mary. Thanks, Mary. Thank you so very much. That's a have a show on me and then some. And so I can happily report that fundraising is done for today and for two-thirds of tomorrow. So that's just fantastic. Thank you, Mary, so much. And thank you for the kind of. words that accompanied your uh that accompanied your uh thank you very much mary said that's quite a nice
Starting point is 00:06:04 photo of you on your webpage thank you thank you that's uh that makes me happy so much appreciated on both on both counts so we actually have a chance to get out in front of the rest of the month this evening before we get into all the madness of the day. God knows there was plenty of that, but Ralphs has a $25 challenge. Oh, no. Just a second here. Got a note from Sylvie. Sylvie in hospital, pneumonia and fractured
Starting point is 00:06:51 I hope all of y'all are doing better than me at the moment. Oh, golly. Sylvie, please, please get better. And what did I tell you about going to the reunion concert of the depraved pettuses? Depraved? Yeah. Oh, God. Just reading that, ooh, that made my liver,
Starting point is 00:07:24 quiver and my tummy do a flip-flop. So, yeah, take care of yourself and get better, quickly, please. When you're up to typing again, let us know where the rave was that this happened at. And let us know if you're in a cast or just wrapped up
Starting point is 00:07:48 so we can send you good thoughts. And you're absolutely right. Lee in New York A really big, loud Ramalama ding-dong for Mary. Thank you so much. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Good. Lee is, just as Bill of Will Rick gives out Ramalama ding-dongs for witty repartee. Lee hands them out for acts of kindness and grace
Starting point is 00:08:22 and generosity. Thank you. Lee, and thank you again, Mary. What? From Jeremy? Live. You'll do it live! Yeah, I guess. But by way of...
Starting point is 00:08:44 Let's see here. Yeah, that's a good idea, Kevin, up in Massachusetts. From the bulwark, our politicians suck, but our voters do too, and the political system we've built brings out the worst in both. Yeah, as Kevin notes, get off the couch, people. Good advice. Jonathan last writing that he's headed to Springfield, Ohio, for a live show tomorrow to raise money for the Haitian community in Springfield.
Starting point is 00:09:44 you know, good luck to them. I saw, I saw something earlier today in my feed that sort of goes hand in hand with what's going on there. Namely, talk on it. It was a headline along the, along the lines of what they wrote at the bulwark, namely, that our political system has become a mess, and we were warned and the worst part of it all is we didn't heed the warning. It says unheeded warnings that wind up really being the ones that bite because, of course, there's another unheated warning out there,
Starting point is 00:11:07 and that is the fact that for a, well, for a generation or more generations, we were warned. We were told right off the bat. that hydrocarbons and fossil fuels were heating up the planet and were going to make life much more difficult but as Reverbo said in the past
Starting point is 00:11:40 he being quite the philosopher Reverbo said the epitaph of the United States may well be when it's finally written yeah but the money was just too good I get that. I get that.
Starting point is 00:11:57 So, thanks, Kevin. Quick notes coming in. Sylvie says, It was the mosh pit at Christus St. Vincent Hospital, Santa Fe, stage diving during the deranged fetus concert. Oh, add a girl, Sylvie. Add a girl. Got to keep those spirits up.
Starting point is 00:12:21 I hope they're giving you something for the pneumonia, some tasty stare. aeroids or something just to give you a little boost. Yeah. And Tamara with a note for you, Sylvie, says, feel better, Sylvie. I don't know if you're listening, but we all worry. We all worry because we all love you. That's why this community is so unlike other broadcasts.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Long, long ago I came up with the idea because we were actually having a discussion. God, it was a long time ago. Are we a family? Are we a community? On Wednesdays, are we a congregation? And I said, why not all? So that's how we became the Horn FCC. The Horn family community congregation. Yes. And Lee points out handing out cowbells, it's all because I'm not known for generosity and compassion, but I do not yet qualify as a juvenile delinquent. Okay. Yeah, you get one just for that, Lee. Yeah. But anyway, courtesy of Ralph, there's a $25 challenge on the table because at the UN today, there was an outbreak of basic common human decency.
Starting point is 00:13:48 Namely, a hundred delegates from three. 50 countries got up and showed Psychobibi Netanyahu that vile, vulgar, homicidal maniac fascist, their backs and took a hike on him. And in his speech, he was, you know, well, remember when he spoke there before? He tried the same thing that he did with, well, it worked with Nitwit Niro back in February. Oh, my friends, Iran is only weeks away from guys. Did I say weeks, I meant days, from getting a nuclear, did I say days, I meant hours from getting a nuclear weapon?
Starting point is 00:14:44 Did I say hours, I meant minutes, a nuclear weapon with which they will immediately bomb? Did I say minutes? I meant seconds. And he had his little Sharpie out, and he was drawing pictures. little stick figures and, you know, wily coyote-style bombs and the little wads of TNT and dynamite and whatnot. Yeah. We found out today that a whole bunch of the world absolutely hates his guts, and it's not because he's Jewish. It's because he's a fascist war-mongering piece of shit.
Starting point is 00:15:24 The world would have walked out on him had he been Hindu or Christian. or Muslim or Buddhist or Sikh or animist or animist or you know a servant of the most high namely Whitslow poachedly or the dear one flayed they walked out took a hike and of course being the piece of shit that BB Netanyahu is. He called them moral cowards. And he had his posse with him in the gallery who were chanting in Hebrew, the people of Israel live. Yeah, that's a real thumb in the eye because, well, so many thousands of the people of Gaza don't. And, of course, naturally, he called everybody who walked out anti-Semitic,
Starting point is 00:16:32 but then again he calls anybody who turns the air conditioning up beyond his comfort level. in anti-Semitic or brings him a two old cup of coffee oh you're anti-Semitic and he uh he accused cutter and turkey of spreading lies about israel bullshit you might recall that it was cutter who uh it was Cutter who funneled the money to Hamas, that Psycho Beebe said, yeah, go ahead, give it to him. Because his concern at that point in time was continuing to drive a wedge between the Palestinian authority and Hamas so that Israel could better leverage their distrust and dislike for each other against them. You know, divide and conquer. Napoleon.
Starting point is 00:17:35 So whining from the podium, he said, You tried to stop me from coming here. You tried. You tried to silence me. Well, you can't silence me. You can't silence the truth. And he said that of the mayor of New York. Zoran Mamdani.
Starting point is 00:18:00 You know what Mom Dani had actually said? But he would have liked to serve the arrest warrant on Psycho Beebebe, when he came to New York, you know, the arrest warrant that's been out there for years now, not from the United States. Oh, God, no, not up, no. But actually from the civilized world community, from the Hague. Mom, Donnie, unfortunately, didn't have the legal authority to do so because world leaders do, because it's how the UN works.
Starting point is 00:18:37 The UN is designed on the principle that we're going to talk out of our, problems instead of bombing them out. Somebody tell that to Psycho Beebe. So world leaders get immunity to come to the United States to speak at the UN in New York. Maybe that's an even better argument.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Somebody made it the other night. Maybe that's an even better argument for moving the United Nations to the Hague. Woo-hoo! I bet you Psycho-Beebe would never go there. And engaging in some absolute 200-proof Orwellianism, Psychobibi said, Here's a simple truth. Israel didn't commit genocide.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Israel prevented genocide. Bullshit. Wholesale, whole cloth, full, bullshit. What do you call trying to wipe out every human being in Gaza? What do you call wiping out all but a hospital or two? in an area that was serving as the world's largest open-air prison. What do you call wiping out most of the homes in that area? What do you call tens of thousands of dead children, murdered children?
Starting point is 00:20:08 To all those spreading these lies about my country and about our brave soldiers, whether they sit in this hall or in the office of the anti-Semitic mayor of New York, I say this, shame on you! Wow, the civilized world says this to you. Fuck you, Beebe! With a red-hot poker, followed up by a 50-foot-tall-desicated cactus. And, of course, Zoramandhi is more than up to the task of responding to a a psychopathic war criminal.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Mayor Mamdani said, as he has done time and again, Prime Minister Netanyahu used his speech to repeat baseless lies meant to sanitize his genocide of Palestinians, yet no lie can change the fact that he remains the subject of an international criminal court arrest warrant
Starting point is 00:21:11 alleging war crimes and crimes against humanity. He yammered on for about 40 minutes or so, and the entire time it sounded, well, it wasn't for those people who were in the hall there at the UN. I'm sure it was being beamed live direct back to Israel because it was a campaign speech. It was timed to be in prime time in the evening on all four of the Israeli television channels. funny how that happens they also the Israeli government did paid for 500
Starting point is 00:22:01 pro-Israel anti-Iran billboards and dozens of trucks with pro-Israel messages driving around Manhattan and all of this that's corruption in itself because the Israeli
Starting point is 00:22:18 the Israeli government paid for all of that in support of BV Netanyahu's and his coalition's candidacy, which, like, nitwit Nero here at home, is underwater. And, well, whether people fall for it there in Israel, I don't know. But remember, what is it, the 28th of October is their election? Just scant days before the midterms. And I have suggested in the past that that makes these coming weeks ahead of those two
Starting point is 00:23:00 dates, fraught with peril. And of course, Psycho Bebe would never say what he said to Zoran Mamdani, to Zoran Mamdani's face, because, well, Zoran Mamm Dani might slap the teeth right out of his mouth. And, of course, he's still braying about how an unprovoked attack on Iran was the right thing to do. I guess that means slaughtering little girls in class was the right thing to do. But then again, Psycho Beavis fascist government has never had much in the way of qualms against slaughtering children. And, of course, he stuck his nose up the orange fundament during his speech as well. And curiously, he's not having a...
Starting point is 00:24:21 He's not having a date with his orange daddy this time around. We will continue to defend our state. We will continue to win because we have no other choice. In this battle against the barbarians, we've had no greater partner than President Trump. I thank him. I thank him for his bold leadership, he said, pulling his lips back and finding them stained a sort of fecal orange. So to get us started this evening and get us started on funding for finishing funding for tomorrow, there's a $25 challenge on the table, courtesy of Ralph's.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Thank you ever so kindly, Ralphs. And if someone has $25 bucks and then Routes will add $25 to it and we'll only have $50 to go to be fully funded for tomorrow. Thank you, Ralph. Thank you. And, yeah. Oh, Jesus. Are we going to play, are we going to play pedant games today? Flavio. It was Cutter Who fundled money to Hamas, and Flavio says, No, it was Cutter that funneled money to Hamas.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Well, you know, Who can also be used as I used it. See Shakespeare, England Who. France. Who? Just saying. Flavio says, and I move that the UN headquarters be moved to Paris. I love that city. I mean, who doesn't love Paris? I love Rome. But, hey, why are we thinking small? Move the United Nations to, oh, I don't know. Just thinking here. Bolivia.
Starting point is 00:27:02 They don't seem to be terribly belligerent these days. Or Peru? Chile? Or maybe just plop it down in Canberra? Australia. Yeah, but BB's in a spot because Britain, France, and Canada all announced sanctions on the invasive clobiles. colonial settlements in the occupied West Bank.
Starting point is 00:27:48 We, of course, here in the United States, issued a very quiet bah. And Netanyahu said, Oh, the leaders of these countries have chosen to succumb to the anti-Semitic mobs. They've chosen weakness. They've chosen appeasement.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Oh, bullshit. Tell it to the Marines, you dumbass. You vulgar fascist. It's not, no, no, it's not anti-Semitism. Because being opposed to the behavior of the stinking, rotten government of Israel is not the same thing as the utterly irrational hatred of people for being Jewish. They're not even remotely comparable. But he can't say that, because then he'd have to acknowledge that the real. reason people despise Israel right now
Starting point is 00:28:54 is because of him and nasty little shitbirds like Idemar bin golf pants and Bielzebub Smotrich and the whole Magna Israel gang that goes all the way to the Euphrates
Starting point is 00:29:14 river all the way to Turkey and all the way to Egypt and uh well Saudi Arabia so gosh sure would be a real shame of something awful happened to. And, ooh, just, that'd be awful. Yeah. But thanks for the challenge, Ralphs.
Starting point is 00:29:43 And thanks for reminding me about that story. Then also, well, let's deal with the password. Grimmis. I know, we immediately thought. of the orange McDonald's monster. Well, if you made him, or the purple McDonald land monster, if you made him orange,
Starting point is 00:30:10 you'd have Nitwit Niro spot on, except for the fact that the grimace is actually known to smile. Instead, we got Nitwit Niro welcoming one of his daddies, Shee-Jing Ping, earlier today. It was, yeah, it was
Starting point is 00:30:32 embarrassing, quite. and in fact the password comes from the fact that during the welcoming ceremony for whom we of course literally rolled out the red carpet and put American military personnel on their knees in front of
Starting point is 00:30:58 Xi Jinping's delegation well there was a flyover and Xi Jinping stood there calmly and professionally. But it made it made Canckel's
Starting point is 00:31:23 Caligula wince and grimace and the video is easily found online. Yeah, it's it's weird. I mean, you know, it's weird. It's like he's scared. I mean, his head hunches down, his eyes squeeze shut,
Starting point is 00:32:03 and his mouth opens and you see all those teeth. Meanwhile, Nashi Jinping's like, yeah, okay, whatever. Maybe that's because we had, we lost some F-35 stealth fighter parts that China got hold of in Hong Kong. Now, as to why he would do something like that over at Midas Touch, they noted, loud and uncontrolled noises trigger confusion, anxiety, and distress, and people with dementia, Because brain changes distort how they process sound.
Starting point is 00:32:45 Auditory processing changes in the brain. Healthy ears still hear normal sounds, but the brain struggles to filter or interpret them correctly. Low-level sounds can feel sudden, loud, or threatening. Hearing connects closely to balance, over-stimulating noisy spaces, caused disorientation and raise the risk of falls. And constant noise activates the body's stress system, leading to fatigue and cognitive overload. But they're just going to let him go on.
Starting point is 00:33:31 Yeah. Because people are still making bank off of him. Not the American farmer, mind you. No. Definitely not the American farmer. The individual who posted the wincing video, well, he pointed out at it, watch she in comparison
Starting point is 00:34:09 it's not that loud but Trump's brain does not filter input correctly anymore due to his worsening frontotemporal dementia the sound made his nervous system go into full overload which registers as pain yeah you know
Starting point is 00:34:25 in a in a just in a just albeit a magical world that that grimace that wince would be indicative of some supernatural deity terrorizing him by making him suddenly realize that was the kind of noise that, well, some little girls in Iran that he murdered, that that was the last thing they heard, or maybe the last thing that children in Gaza heard before they got blown off this earth. by Israel using weapons that we had provided them.
Starting point is 00:35:11 There was another weird thing, though, to go with the grimace, and that was the gloves. It was not cold in Washington, D.C. today. Not cold at all at Joint Base Andrews, and yet for some reason or another, nitwit Nero was wearing a pair of black, leather gloves. Even now,
Starting point is 00:35:59 it's 65 degrees in D.C. He was wearing a full overcoat and a pair of black leather gloves because, again, that's another one of those things that goes with dementia.
Starting point is 00:36:20 The body, the brain's ability to regulate body temperature goes away. And curiously, Well, the glove, he eventually had to take it off. And, of course, his hand is an absolute train wreck. Look what you did, Lee noting, you said golf pants and knit with Nacho Niro woke up. Aha!
Starting point is 00:37:10 Yeah. Oh, well, thank you. I didn't know it was any good. I was just trying to sort of do an approximation. Flavio says your Psycho Beebebe impersonation is in a moment. impeccable. Thank you. I don't know how to feel. It's a little disturbing. Maybe it's just too many years of hearing him speak. I don't like being, I don't like really knowing that I can channel the voice of a genocidal maniac and war criminal. Jeremy says gloves he didn't want She to ping his bruised hands as a weakness
Starting point is 00:38:04 Maybe Tim as well Maybe he meant dementia It's all part of the general falling apart of this man that we're watching in real time And watching happen way too slowly But the best medicine available in the entire world is trying to keep him somewhat functional. We've made great medical strides since like the 1980s, but even back then, the doctors were able to create the impression that old 666 himself, Ronald Wilson Reagan, it wasn't a shambolic shell of himself as his mind deserted him.
Starting point is 00:38:53 and from Kim in New York UN out of New York City Kim says personally and I'm not the only New Yorker who feels this way it would be great if the UN left New York City I can't describe what mayhem is caused by the opening of the General Assembly between the orange bastards visit the increase in traffic and the constant police security sirens and helicopters
Starting point is 00:39:23 the annual disruption is more than a small annoyance it is a royal pain in the ass I can imagine and you know that sort of goes to it reminds me of something I was thinking about the other day Kim and please don't please don't take this the wrong way you know
Starting point is 00:39:43 city noises are a part of living in any city and I would imagine that it's probably even more so given the massive size of New York you know sirens and and whatnot at all hours of the day and night
Starting point is 00:39:59 but the very richest of the rich are able to afford penthouses in the sky so far above the den that they don't ever have to hear it while they're trying to sleep or have dinner or watch a little bit of TV. And I guess it's that way the world over. We proles live down on the ground
Starting point is 00:40:29 and our better live hundreds of feet in the air where they don't necessarily have to be bothered by us. Thanks, Kim. Maybe they'd like to have the UN in Bolivia. I saw a cityscape, a distant cityscape view of Panama City Panama the other day. My God, it's huge.
Starting point is 00:41:08 It seems like every city on the earth is huge and getting huger. And for as much inconvenience as can sometimes attend it, I do love my country living. It certainly has its downsides. In a place like West Virginia, of course, unreliable coal-fried power, among others, where you have sirens all, at any hour of the day or night, Kim,
Starting point is 00:41:46 I get the I get the side-by-side four-wheeler meth parade and the golden one really doesn't like it. He sleeps quite soundly, but one of those damn things on right down the road in front of the mansion. He pops up awake
Starting point is 00:42:18 and he's immediately on the alert. It takes a little bit for his mommy to get him calm down. Bless his heart. He's such a sweetheart. I'm sorry. I've got to be careful. I'll just start waxing rhapsodic about the wonders of the golden boy. He's just such a good boy.
Starting point is 00:42:48 What do you say, Kemp? Bolivia? Peru, Ecuador? Yeah, Ecuador. Make the bastard sweat. Or maybe put it on top of a really... No, you couldn't put it in the Altiplano because then you'd probably fuck up the...
Starting point is 00:43:13 The Nazca plane... Drawings. That'd be a shame. I mean, Greenpeace tried to fuck it up a few years ago, and I got all kinds of grief for calling that out. Leah, New York was an idea. Oh, the things we start on this program. Moving the UN?
Starting point is 00:43:41 I vote for Ukraine to make everyone defend it. You are a wise one, good Sir Lee. Not Sir Lee. Sir Lee, not Sir Lee. You've never been Sirley. Yeah, move it to Cube. and then put the entire nation of Ukraine under the protection of the entire world, except for Mother Russia,
Starting point is 00:44:13 and the couple of friends that that country has left. Lee adds, pointing toward my lack of understanding, Manhattan penthouses, believe it or not, many are showpieces. The owners don't live there. It's for the status and the occasional party. What? But, but, but, but, but, but, but what about that, that wonderful apartment where Uncle Bill and Mr. French and Jody and Buffy and Sissy lived in family affair? It's right there, you know, right there on, uh, right there on Central Park.
Starting point is 00:44:54 Uh, French, I'll take the kids down to the park and walk them for a little while. Yeah? Right. Why does my brain go to these places? I can't get I got to confess while I've been sitting here talking I have watched the wince more than a couple of times I mean he ducks
Starting point is 00:45:27 maybe he's afraid that the the wind generated by the by the aircraft is going to blow his hair all out of whack and she just Jinping just stands in him Oh, yeah, how about that?
Starting point is 00:45:50 It's an airplane. Good for them, I guess. And I can't tell, has he gone back to blonde or orange or whatever color his hair was? I wonder if the gloves were Natalie Harpy's idea. You've got to figure probably, it's not like, it's not like melanomas out there dressing him. She probably doesn't want to be anywhere. Well, she's probably in New York. Wait, he's in New York.
Starting point is 00:46:28 You think she moved out for a little bit? If for no other reason than to evade the stench, maybe whalehead, dead bear raccoon penis brainworm lamprey told him about the chem trails, sir, you're going to be on the Darmac, and you might get hit by the chem trails from the flyover. Speaking of whom, Lordy, he's expensive.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Really? We now know more about how much it costs to protect an anti-vaxxer maniac. Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal had an article. And, God, this is so disgusting. The DHS told appropriators in Congress that they had shuffled about $12 million out of God this timeline
Starting point is 00:47:40 they shuffled $12 million out of the Office of Minority Health to pay to protect whalehead dead bear raccoon penis brainworm lamprey yeah really
Starting point is 00:47:56 in former times former administrations it cost about $5 million a year to provide security and protection for the secretary of DHS and that even includes when the anti-vaxxers and the COVID-Its and the and the people who were rubbing their gums with ard-vark antifungal were barking and grunting and braying for the for the
Starting point is 00:48:26 head of Anthony Fauci and everybody else and yeah five million bucks well in fiscal 2025 with whalehead dead bear raccoon penis brainworm lamprey in office security costs doubled to $10 million. And in fiscal 2026, they ballooned to $17 million. What is that by? But actually, it may not have anything to do with his security. it has to do with taking money away from a department whose mission and purpose was to keep little black babies from dying. That's what the Office of Minority Health was tasked to do.
Starting point is 00:49:43 It was created, amazing as it may seem, during the Raygun administration. Because back then, suddenly, it wasn't suddenly medical scientists began to note that black infants in the U.S. were much more likely
Starting point is 00:50:14 to die than white infants. And of course, where Nittwit Nero is concerned, that's just fine. So that may be the real reason they moved the money out. Oh, we needed for security. Now, you need it to make life harder for little black newborns.
Starting point is 00:50:42 The Office of Minority Health, you know, it wasn't just babies because they also figured out that African Americans had shorter life expectancies than white Americans. And they had a budget around $74 million dollars,
Starting point is 00:50:59 and they spent it trying to close that gap. But, you know, so what's $12 million or so? Jesus. the DHS said that, well, we've been hit by across-the-board budget cuts, and it takes a lot now to protect the secretary. This is an actual quote. Well, Secretary Kennedy faces a security environment that differs significantly
Starting point is 00:51:49 from that of previous HHS secretaries. that was HHS spokes creep Emily Hilliard. Does it? Does it cost more to protect an anti-vaxxer? Is part of the security detail going? Mr. Secretary, Mr. Secretary, please. Don't eat the diarrhea lettuce. Does he have a security detail just to keep him from eating raw, disgusting things?
Starting point is 00:52:23 Sir, sir. Uh, that's a run over squirrel. That's not lunch, sir. Oh, but it looks delicious. Can I cut off its head? Ah, good money after bad. Oh, well, it's just taxpayer dollars. Who gives it a damn right?
Starting point is 00:52:50 Yeah, sure. And, uh, uh, note coming in from Cynthia. Uh, maybe New Zealand? There's a lovely idea. Um, one person, she says that I fully expect Trump's regrets not ever being, able to welcome and roll out the red carpet for. And you know the world, you know that he would have. Yeah, him, Hitler.
Starting point is 00:53:27 And George and Corsegold, Trump grimace. Your description of Trump's reaction sounds like what I do when I hear or see Trump. Okay. You guys are banging on all eight cylinders this evening. George adds your BB voice. It sounds similar to your Yule Brinner. Moses, Moses. I know that that's deliberate
Starting point is 00:53:47 okay y'all are the ones listening to the program I only hear in my head and that's never the same thing as far as moving the UN Cynthia says or if you want to be really evil how about in the Antarctic and make them travel only by boat through the Drake passage and no dramamine I'm bad
Starting point is 00:54:08 ooh the Drake passage what is it the Furious 40s uh the or the fear fearful 40s furious 50s screaming 60s uh cynthia says 17 million dollars proud boys maybe oh that's just pitiful hi rob as to the flyover rob says news muck reported that she and his wife looked annoyed at the flyover and that trump was just trying to intimidate them nice try news muck yeah that's what that was that was an intimidation move thank god this program isn't video the face that i just pulled
Starting point is 00:55:00 all by itself would have probably canceled dinner what's left of it in the eastern daylight time zone wouldn't have in the central daylight time zone you wouldn't even bother with the salad course I'm sorry sometimes I make me laugh if you could see it yeah
Starting point is 00:55:24 Jeremy says Start watching lanterns and your mind will go to more fun places Oh we're already watching lanterns Victoria and I and we got up to We're current I think
Starting point is 00:55:42 I'm not What do the new episodes drop on Sunday But the one I'm really paying attention to right now is Ted Lassow it was funny because with the early episodes of season four of ted lasso uh all the all the reviewer chuds out there oh they just lost they don't have the old magic uh
Starting point is 00:56:06 they probably ever should have made this in the fray i don't like ted and i i i was as i was reading those early reviews i was like oh my god you're upset you're upset because you're upset because they're dealing with a women's a women's football team, aren't you? Because it was directly mirroring things that were being addressed in the show. And, of course, it has gotten better and better and better. And we just watched the latest episode today. And I've thought all along that they still had the old magic.
Starting point is 00:56:48 And have added some to it. It's really, really good. That's the fun thing about Ted Lasso. It's almost infinitely rewatchable. And the one romantic arc is pure magic and it just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Don't hate, says Jeremy. Let's go ahead and get all the way into the gutter here. Admitted already, you're simply jealous that you're not enjoying fermented raccoon penis
Starting point is 00:57:40 as much as RFK Jr. Oh, I definitely would not enjoy that as much as RFK Jr. No. And I don't even know how much, well, he must enjoy it a lot. Delicious with sweet taters. It's going to be a busy thorn in the side Thursday. No doubt about it. Hey, let's check in.
Starting point is 00:58:21 Let's check in with some grievance artists. Where'd she go? Oh, well, sorry, brother Deacon. Got your message. Well, I thought I saved that. That was so good. Well, anyway, you might recall the fifth place grievance artist. That would be Riley Gaines.
Starting point is 00:59:32 Yeah? Riley took a break from her very busy schedule, throwing conyptions about tying for fifth place with a trans woman in a swim meet years and years ago to complain about bills that she's still getting from the birth of her child a year ago. Yeah, hard to believe she's spawned. But she did. And complaining about the U.S. healthcare system. Well, why don't you go with your illegally present in the United States hubby
Starting point is 01:00:25 and move back to Engeland with him? I mean, among other things, Turf Island hates trans women just about as much, well, maybe even more than... than maggots do here and of course that's because they've got their very own troll living in a dungeon up in Scotland
Starting point is 01:00:53 who's funding all of that hate but oh she was so upset yeah I really was hoping to I thought sure I had that clip let me see if I I guess not pity
Starting point is 01:01:35 but yeah she was Just full of grief. I mean, granted, it wasn't first place grief. It was like fifth place grief. She's not very good at anything. Remember we had the clip of the Wisconsin cow lady who was pissing and moaning about how she couldn't pay substandard wages to her workers and it was making her dairy farm operations to gosh darn difficult?
Starting point is 01:02:56 She's back. that I've been reading regarding farmer struggles right now, not just mentally, but financially. And I think it's about time everybody really starts to wake up about the consolidation of the dairy industry. Because if you decimate these rural communities, and the rural population needs to start paying attention too, because if you decimate the rural economy by getting rid of your medium and small dairy farms, That means your feed store, your local feed store, where you go and get your horse feed or your chicken feed or your pasture beef cattle feed, they're going to close. What about your local large animal veterinarian? If they don't have dairy farms, why will your local veterinarians stay around to deal with any other large animals if they only have a couple of small clients?
Starting point is 01:03:48 Your real estate business will dry up because people are not going to move anywhere if they don't have jobs. Your local grocery stores. This has a very bad ripple effect for the economy and the rural community. And the people that think that consolidating farms into large corporate farms strategically placed around the country obviously did not pay attention during COVID when the supply chain was decimated because of the fact that we already have enough consolidation in the food industry. And I worry what's going to happen with the beef farmers with all of these Tyson beet processing plants closing throughout the country. Are all these small beef farmers going to go out
Starting point is 01:04:31 of business and decimate their rural communities? Only time is going to tell. But for all the people that are wishing for the dairy farmers to buck up or go big or go home, screw you people, because entire rural countryside's small towns will be decimated. And I wish politicians would stop pandering to us only on June dairy month and actually start doing something to help fix the problem so anyway those are my two thoughts and i hope everybody has a great day oh those are her two thoughts too count them too and she told us both of them good for her you know that's the problem with teaching somebody at letting somebody learn a couple of little latinate terms she was she was all about to decimate and all the way to
Starting point is 01:05:22 through that two-minute harang in the Roman legions when a legion fucked up a commander could order that the Legion be decimated or that one of the centuries be decimated
Starting point is 01:05:47 that basically meant that the Legion airs lined up and counted off one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, whack! One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Stab! In other words, reducing by one-tenth. But when she says decimated, she means, you know, completely destroyed, I guess.
Starting point is 01:06:19 We're not telling farmers to buck up or go big or go home. At least I'm not. I don't think we are here at the Horn family community congregation. We're telling them to, uh, maybe, maybe, maybe, Vote better next time. Vote with their brains and not with their bigotries. Vote with their heads and not their hates. I don't see a lot of likelihood of that.
Starting point is 01:06:47 But, you know, we can talk about it. Hey, thank you, Daryl in Houston. Thank you so much, Daryl. Daryl just met the turn their backs on BB Challenge, courtesy of Ralps. And so we're down to only $50 to go to be. fully funded for tomorrow. Thank you. Thank you, Darrell.
Starting point is 01:07:13 If we could go ahead and raise that 50, I wouldn't have to say anything about fundraising tomorrow, and wouldn't that be awesome? I'd love it. Thank you, Darrell, who says, I reckon I can spare 25 quat lose. Put him on Captain Kirk for the win. Kee-Sing, what is this key-sing I keep hearing about?
Starting point is 01:07:32 Give me another of those key, says Captain James T. Kirk. Mm-hmm. there's our obligatory Star Trek reference courtesy of Daryl and speaking of Star Trek Lee in New York noted TV shows I finished suffering through Star Trek
Starting point is 01:07:48 Strange New World Season 4 a whole lot of gimmick episodes including Muppets Did you see that South Park is renamed South America because Nitt Whitt Niro is renaming everything America? I did and we watched the first episode the other night it was it wasn't
Starting point is 01:08:05 It wasn't terrible. It was good. It seemed like the first episode was one long exposition for one sharp little line. I have no doubt that they'll get their feet under them and make it even more biting as their season goes on. The thing is, I mean, they're good, but what else? I mean, where do you go after you have nitwit Nero, father a baby in Satan's butt? You've kind of summited Everest with that one, haven't you? And Darrell Rout says, thanks, Darrell.
Starting point is 01:09:02 Thank you both. As to the dairy lady, Cynthia said she makes great points, but is she still going to vote Rapiglacan in the midterms? You're damn right she is. because she's a Wisconsin dairy farmer and she's got a little bit of jingle in her pockets and she thinks that qualifies her to be a Republican Gone but not forgotten Bruce
Starting point is 01:09:29 Gone but not forgotten He and Karen had some beautiful dobies We got to be Good friends in the time that I met them The dobies were Shirley and Agnes And Shirley was just She was just a little No, she wasn't a little.
Starting point is 01:09:51 She was large, and she could look very, very fierce. But she turned into an and a needy little four-legged angel. I remember Bruce picked me up at the airport in Minneapolis one year. And we were in his truck, and Shirley was riding beside us. And she was, you know, it was an old truck. the single bench seat and Shirley was in the middle and she progressively crawled further and further
Starting point is 01:10:27 until she was and she was no small doby she was a big girl until she was completely curled up on my lap and then in oh she was smart then she insisted on moving my hand toward the crank window so i could roll the window down uh for her to stick her cute little doby snoot out into the wind wonderful puppies and from Cynthia? I said that yeah, dairy lady will continue to vote Republican. Cynthia said, then I guess she needs some more decimating.
Starting point is 01:11:06 Sorry, lady. What that woman needs is some decimating. That's what she needs. And a bit of a follow-up to yesterday's program. The walking yam, Tommy the Tuber, has now declared that
Starting point is 01:11:26 The high gas prices are... Wait for it. Oh, you know whose fault they are? I don't even have to tell you. That's right. Joe Biden's... Uh-huh. Tommy the Tuber, who, when last we checked in,
Starting point is 01:11:49 was catching a bad case of the vapors over the furry pilots. I wish I was kidding, but... I'm not. Lord help us. The people flying our planes are disgusting fetuses. Uh-huh. Joe Biden, the very first day he shut down the Keystone Pipeline, that's five million barrels of oil a day coming into our country.
Starting point is 01:12:26 He tried to stop our drilling in the guth where we get a lot of money for the state of Alabama. He didn't give one drilling permit to the West Coast when he got into office. Do you recall a week ago this evening I was talking with Miss Terry, who's running for Alabama House District 96, which is down there in the General Daphne, Alabama area on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay? She has such a view from her condo. Oh, it's beautiful. We were talking about going down to down.
Starting point is 01:13:08 to the beach and how you can actually see drilling platforms out within eyesight of the beach and she pointed out, yeah, they ain't pumping anything. Haven't for years. But there's Tommy the Tuber saying
Starting point is 01:13:29 that the, well, Alabama gets a lot of money from that oil that we get off a Gulf Coast, sure enough. God, he's dumb. And the people of Alabama will more than likely make him the governor of that state. And then you have to start wondering how stupid the next one will be, because it's stupid all the way down. Well, this is an ongoing process. People say, well, the Iran war is causing this to go up.
Starting point is 01:14:18 I was in a hearing yesterday led by our military. The military led the hearing? Usually the senators lead to hearings. We're now bringing in more oil through the Straits of Hormuz, over 20 million barrels a day, more than we were during before the war. He lied. Well, the problem
Starting point is 01:14:37 we have right now, we can't refine it. We don't have refineries to refine all this oil to keep up with the D-Man. President Trump did this about six months ago. He gave a permit to build our first refinery in our lifetime almost 50 years. We have all these
Starting point is 01:14:52 greenies out there saying we don't need to build refineries and we don't need to dig or drill for oil yeah that's what we do we dig for the oil Tommy Jesus Christ that's the reason we're in this situation it's not necessarily the Iran war it is a long-going process of being tricked as American citizens by the Democrats and because of this green scam that they were pushing we're now running low he wasn't done now well well well I don't understand Oh, Lord, there's a lot he doesn't understand, and we can start with the furry airline pilots. And I'm looking at the price of oil today. It's $92 a barrel.
Starting point is 01:15:40 When it's $92 a barrel, gas and diesel at the pump are much lower. Looks like there's some kind of conspiracy theory against President Trump. That's just my thoughts. Them was not thoughts. Them was idle bublins of sloppy swamp goo. in betwixt his ears. He never misses a lick. He doesn't understand the global nature of the oil market.
Starting point is 01:16:18 He doesn't understand that what you buy it to pump today was paid for months ago on a futures contract. Jesus. I hope y'all enjoy having him for Governor Alabama. The normal people won't, the decent people want, the intelligent people won't, but the maggots. Well, well, I don't know if we're going to have to call him governor or coach?
Starting point is 01:16:55 Senator Governor-Govern or coach? Governor-Senator-coach? Oh, no. Somebody's going to have to clear that up for us. But, as is so often the case, we had a story here yesterday, the Tommy the Tuber furry story. And, well, guess what
Starting point is 01:17:17 they started with over on my former filthy morning habit this morning. Oh, man, everybody's a critic this evening from the Camel Cardinal. Your Tommy the Tuber moniker has served us well for several years. I think it's high time we retire it and allow the professionals at the Jimmy Kimmel crack writing team to handle it from here.
Starting point is 01:17:47 Allow me to introduce Dummy Dummerville. I know, but I hate to infringe on somebody else's work. Signing here to serve. Camel Cardinal, Brother Deakin. Dummy Dummerville is pretty good. Pauley Potato Farm. I mean, Tuberville? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:19 Villa, ville. Latin. Farm. Farmhouse. But, yeah, dummy Dummerville is pretty good. Rubber on gas prices. Tuber on gas prices. When it gets to six, he'll shout, Touchdown!
Starting point is 01:18:43 Ow! And then he'll kick the extra gallon. Or extra dollar. Cynthia says, maybe dairy lady. Maybe her cows would like some nice screw worms. They're free now, you know, and plenty to go around. And by the way, oh, the furries are so scary.
Starting point is 01:19:10 Run, hide. Hey, put your kids in an animal suit. Perfect for Halloween, and it is coming up, you know. You can never plan too early. Somebody needs to... I don't like to suggest anyone use AI for anything, but somebody needs to come up with an AI image of, well, Tommy in maybe an Auburn Tiger suit,
Starting point is 01:19:46 holding his head under his arms. Micah sent me an image earlier today. and I giggled mightily. It shows, I guess, they're foxes, fox furries, and at the controls of a jumbo jet, turning around to wave at the camera. It's actually kind of cute. I mean, kind of adorable.
Starting point is 01:20:26 But, yeah, this morning on my filthy morning habit, lo and behold, there they were. Research shows that 25% of the day, the furries are gender confused. And it's more evidence of our society going to heck in a handbasket when we have stuff like this going on. What's more concerning is that this is mentally and unwell in a furry community that touts the fact that many, listen to this, that many airline pilots, flight attendants and
Starting point is 01:21:02 air traffic controllers are part of the furry community. Lord help us. Lord help us indeed. That wasn't real. That wasn't. No. To me that wasn't. This is see. This is why I'm, this is why I'm scared of AI. This is why I'm scared of AI because you're going to get public figures made to look like total idiots because somebody obviously. ginned that up. He would not really with with with with with with a threat to humanity from frontier AI systems with working class Americans in the state of Alabama paying almost seven dollars a gallon for diesel with people not being able to afford their growth like he would not talk about furries on the floor would and if he would like you know I'm sure many of the
Starting point is 01:22:04 state would be like our own babe in the wood, Mika, who didn't even know. Remember the furry gas leak we had to report on? She had no idea what furries were. I still don't get it. I'm not going to be honest. I'm just understanding the costumes and what happens in them. I don't get it. But I'm learning, I guess.
Starting point is 01:22:27 It's a very specific community. Community. And what happens in them? meekamouse honey those costumes are hot what happens in them is the people wearing them sweat okay
Starting point is 01:22:41 Jesus it's a sub sub community that that's and so Tommy Tupperville really thought hey hold on Joe they're not all subs
Starting point is 01:22:56 some of them are probably tops you got to explain everything to that boy I got elected to the United States Senate and with a China summit with nuclear proliferation with the possibility of AI
Starting point is 01:23:16 ending humankind with people in Alabama not being able afford their groceries not being able to afford diesel at almost $7 a gallon not you know a war raging on that is causing unrest to crossfire he's going to talk
Starting point is 01:23:32 about furries like that had to be AI generated because even Tommy Tuberville's not that stupid. Now, he's not that stupid. I mean, I would hope he wouldn't be that stupid. That has me a generated. That was on the sacred floor of the United States Senate. That was his Mr. Smith goes to Washington moment. I'm going to make my big speech and have my big moment. What was the picture? Was that a costume? Is that a furry costume? Coach. What was it? No, Mika, that was the pregnant man emoji from your phone, honey. Go past the smileys.
Starting point is 01:24:06 these people progen emoji Joe there's you know we've talked about this there's well there's a lot of projection maybe the guys who
Starting point is 01:24:20 the guys who talk so much about how alpha they are and how they've got high tea and they think about testosterone a lot seem to also be real fixated on woke stuff like this he was
Starting point is 01:24:34 oh Willie's been listening hi Willie Yeah, wait a way to let me tell you about what they, the thing they think most about with trans women, it'll, it'll ruin your, it'll ruin your morning croissant, I promise. Closson. Talking about trans athletes playing sports. As the Charlie Baker, the head of the NCAA said in congressional testimony, he said there are more than 500,000 athletes in NCAA college sports.
Starting point is 01:25:07 He was asked how many are trans. He said less than 10. In other words, this is not an issue that's in the top 1,000 of important issues. No, but really, I just have to ask, why are they so obsessed with trans? It's like all they talked. Because they're perverts, Jehoshaphat, honey, they're perverts. And it's not just with trans people. They're perverts about everybody.
Starting point is 01:25:38 They can't, they're maggots. They can't look at a little girl without thinking about her genitals. They can't look at a little boy without thinking about his genitals. They're that sick. They are that disgusting. They are that repulsive. They are that awful and evil and nasty. As has so often been noted to be the case, you know, Matt in San Francisco has said they think about how gay people have sex more than gay people.
Starting point is 01:26:14 think about how gay people have sex and the same thing goes for trans people and i don't want to get graphic or anything there's no need but so often it's the case that this is a this is a direct and proximate result of their own repression now i'm not saying that everybody you know i'm not saying that tommy the tuber is a closet case but the the attention that he was paying to furries yesterday makes me wonder if he's ever kind of gone over to that closet where the Auburn tiger mascot costume hangs and maybe longingly padded the fur and wondered how it would feel to put it on and say, rower. There's not enough accent on that.
Starting point is 01:27:21 It's who they are. You almost get this sense when you go into their Senate offices. These Republicans have like the Rocky Horror picture show going on and sweet transvestite playing in the background because they are obsessed. It's not in the background, Joe. It's in the senator's private office. And let's just say there's some, there's a, box of Kleenex and some lotion in a desk drawer.
Starting point is 01:28:05 Which, I wonder things sometimes, and I apologize. But I got to thinking about poor dead Miss Lindsay, long in the dirt by now. I wonder if anybody who loved him might have slipped up to the casket there before they closed it and just tucked a little pair of red lace panties in there with him to carry him into the afterlife. Probably a pair of red lace panties that they bought online from an only fan's trans girl. Probably didn't have to pay more than $1,000 for him. There's so few trans athletes, but it's like all they think about. Honey, I'm sorry, this is a great meal, but I'm just thinking about, no, it's like what's wrong with them?
Starting point is 01:29:02 Like, there is such a, there is such a raging, a raging current of beta. Like, just, just, just a reservoir of. Wait, don't we tell him about eggs and what that means. They are a whole truckload, a whole truckload of eggs. Just waiting to crack. What did that one girl say? that Miss Lindsay paid her an astonishing amount of money for doing unspeakable things to him while he was dressed in Red Lajeret. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:53 Beta malness underneath this Republican Party, I don't get it. I really don't. Being paid. Yeah. But that's a thing, though. it's not about one there's no such thing as alpha males that's complete absolute utter bullshit and if there are alpha if there are no alpha males it stands to reason there are no beta males did he say at any point in those four minutes did he say beta cuck
Starting point is 01:30:30 because that's the usual phrase that the maggots deploy oh this such a beta cook i tell you what i i keep discovering these new and different subredits You know, it was our buddy Wave Who first kind of Put me on to To Reddit And Well, there's a subreddit called
Starting point is 01:30:56 Gravy Seals And via the subreddit Gravy Seals I found the subreddit I am very badass Hilarity ensued But now that they've done Tommy the tuber, I wonder if maybe they'd like to do Marcy Capter of Ohio.
Starting point is 01:31:29 You know, it was Marcy Capter who, after Ohio was redistricted, the Republicans wanted to make sure that they pitted one Democrat against another. And what they did is they redistricted in such a way that they forced Marcy Capter and Dennis Kucinich into a primary. and Marcy Captor 1 and Dennis Kucinich left the Congress He went on to have some rather sketchy positions And I don't hesitate to mention that But he will forever have my gratitude, my thanks My respect
Starting point is 01:32:08 For being the only member of Congress With a nuts starch to introduce a bill that would actually end the Appalachian apocalypse The Appalachian Community's Health Emergency Act ache. Your humble Ostis created that name
Starting point is 01:32:30 by the way. But he did that. Marcy Captor damn sure didn't. And so now Marcy Captor has become one of a growing
Starting point is 01:32:44 litany or a growing list of Democratic candidates who, without even being forced into it, are putting out
Starting point is 01:32:58 ads and state about how they just really despise the transies and how they're protecting women's, the girls' sports from trans girls being in them. Bruga, Bruga, Bruga, Bruga! Morble Wush, NARF. It's a disgusting sort of pre-capitulation. You know, James Tala RICO has done it. Amy Acton did it in Ohio. and the list continues to grow because the people at Third Way, why anyone would listen to anybody at Third Way is beyond me,
Starting point is 01:33:45 but the people at Third Way have convinced politicians that they need to confront the trans panic head on and say, well, I'm against trans girls in girls, sports. It kind of reminds me of that old friends of coal billboard I used to see in Beckley. Carbon neutral coal, clean carbon neutral coal, it said. And of course, if you translated that into, say, Spanish, it would say, well, the word for carbon.
Starting point is 01:34:33 And it was carbon neutral carbon. That's like butter-free butter. fat-free fat and trans girls in girls sports is actually girls in girls sports it's not that complicated but nobody's willing to actually stand up and point that out and now even supposed LGBT plus organizations are endorsing people like Marcy Capter even after she comes out and proves herself a bigot and a transphobe I'm against surgeries for Trans kids, nobody's doing surgeries on trans kids. And it would be great if, I mean, it's hard to resist the ha ha funny lines from somebody like Tommy Tuberville.
Starting point is 01:35:32 But it would be great someday if Joe could, and his zany cast members there at the morning zoo crew, could actually delve into that a little bit. Or maybe invite a trans-Billy elitist on to explain things because I'm pretty good at it. these are non-issues and he sort of pointed toward it with the NCAA guy saying yeah 10 people out of 500,000 but it goes deeper and
Starting point is 01:36:15 the problem is with these Democrats who are giving in now and being moderate on the issue because they think they've defanged to the Republican talking point? They haven't. The ads are still going to run.
Starting point is 01:36:35 But it'll wind up working out just as it did in the U.K. The Labor Party came into power with Kier Starmor, and they were nominally not openly transphobic. That didn't last a minute. And now the lives of trans women are absolute misery in Mary Oldie Engelond. In Wales, they canceled every trans surgery for adults. Every gender-affirming surgery, they canceled it.
Starting point is 01:37:28 There were trans women going in for their surgery the next day, getting a call the night before saying, don't come in, can't have it. Why? Can't tell you. the natural extension of the potty fixation, the single most pathetic fixation they have, well, they had that obsession in the UK too. And now, and I talk about trans women, it also applies to trans men, of course.
Starting point is 01:38:11 It's just that the trans women get the focus of all the hate. and so now in England they said trans women cannot use the restroom in any public accommodation and that's not just like government buildings or stuff it's illegal
Starting point is 01:38:27 to use the restroom in a gas station it's illegal for a woman to use the women's restroom in a gas station so then people said okay so you want them to use the men's room and the answer came back oh no they can't use that either
Starting point is 01:38:46 they can't use any restroom you see. And that's where this slippery slope of moderating one's position leads. In fact, they wrote about it at the New Republic yesterday.
Starting point is 01:39:16 Toby Buckle writing, many centrist think tanks, columnists, and pundits have a pitch for an easy way to win more support. Moderate on trans rights. This has been a perennial
Starting point is 01:39:30 concern of the chattering classes for the entire Trump era, and the offer they put to Democrats as a seemingly attractive one, remain supportive of a small, vulnerable segment of the population without seeming out of touch with much of America. In the words of Jonathan Cowan, President of Third Way, see, what did I say?
Starting point is 01:39:47 This was echoed more recently by Thomas Edsel in the New York Times who argued that Democrats voting to bar trans women from women's sports would help them reconnect with the median voter. bullshit. That's absolute bullshit. And what Buckle writes is that if they're selling a train ride,
Starting point is 01:40:15 Democrats will go a stop or two, but then get off. They'll mention the issue less, drop overtly woke language if they ever used it at all, maybe even say something about women's sports or young children medically transitioning, and then backtrack, or partially backtrack, that's it. Perhaps that's as far as they're willing to go. Perhaps they get pushed back from progressives who have no interest in getting on the train at all. and he points out Gavin Newsom dropped the centrist stick
Starting point is 01:40:45 and rebranded himself as an anti-Trump fire breather. Seth Moulton lost his primary in no small part because liberal voters there are currently in no mood to compromise with the right. Centrists, of course, have bemoaned this with constant Republican attacks, Democrats, it's claimed, risk looking out of touch if they don't stay on the train and moderate further. Toby Buckle cites James Tala Rico. turning turtle on the issue.
Starting point is 01:41:22 And it says just about every trans person I know thinks concerns about sports are misleadingly presented and vastly overblown. They also would trade restrictions here for broader social acceptance and inclusion in a heartbeat. If they thought that was a deal that was on the table, they just
Starting point is 01:41:38 don't think that it is, and I think they're correct to think that. And then points out exactly what happened in the UK. The more radical the right wing becomes, the more toward the right, the so-called centrist's go until everybody's standing there while the troops goose stepped past and Toby Buckle writes as someone who's been politically active in the LGBT rights in both countries let me tell you
Starting point is 01:42:12 what happens if you stay on the train to its terminus i.e. to caving in to the right on this issue first in today's environment where fascism has largely captured the right once you show a willingness to back down the pressure on you will increase not decrease trans rights didn't use to be an issue at all in the UK. In 2012, just 60 articles relating to trans people were published in the UK media. But our campaigning right-wing press, most notably the Times, the Telegraph, and the Daily Mail, saw an opening. While both main parties were nominally pro-trans rights, the conservatives were increasingly picking up American new right rhetoric. Meanwhile, labor, starting in 2019 under new leader Kier-Starmor, pursued a strategy of affecting a more moderate image.
Starting point is 01:42:57 right-wing writers had already started anti-trans fear-mongering, and after Starmer's assent, they massively ramped it up, averaging 20 articles a day, not 60 a year, 20 articles a day on the topic by 2022 and even purportedly liberal outlets like the Guardian joined in. Can a woman have a penis became a favorite question of journalists to ask labor leaders. Having already decided not to go too hard on culture war issues, they didn't have the courage to just say yes, or if that's an ugly gotcha remark. So they stalled and waffled. You could tell they hated the question, so interviewers kept asking it,
Starting point is 01:43:36 hardly responsible behavior from the media, but labor had basically invited it by showing weakness by flinching before they got hit. And, of course, the real answer to that is, why are you thinking about the genitals of total strangers, and do I need to cover my drink if I'm around you? That's the answer. That is the damned answer. And now, let me see if I can find it, because this is repulsive.
Starting point is 01:44:15 It's not just the politicians. Oh, no. It's all the way into the supposed ally groups. There it is. Yeah, I knew I'd find it. Equality PAC. That's the political arm of the Congressional LGBTQ Caucus. It is led by Mark Takano. They have now endorsed Marcy Captor, even though she went full transphobe.
Starting point is 01:45:38 They sent out an email blast that heartily endorsed her and other transphobic Democrats and said that they had given out $200,000 to candidates in so-called frontline races. It's disgusting. And we might as well, in for a penny, in for a pound, mentioned this one the new Republic article mentioned Gavin Newsom
Starting point is 01:46:23 I guess the mask is off because he vetoed a bill recently it was over the weekend and he went on a veto vetoing spree and one of the bills he nixed
Starting point is 01:46:48 was called Assembly Bill 2164 I'm returning Assembly Bill 2164 without my signature This bill would prohibit, get this, it's actually a sanctuary bill, it's a protection bill. You know, they've got laws in California, for instance, that protect women from being tormented by misogynistic maggot states for pursuing reproductive care. Right. Well, this bill would prohibit future governors from recognizing a request for extradition of a person subject to criminal liability based on allegations that the person engaged.
Starting point is 01:47:30 and specified health care activities. Yeah, you heard that right. Gavin Newsom, a fire-breathing, anti-Trump, defender of freedom and decency and dignity, vetoed a bill that would have prevented the state of California from extraditing patients or providers who had received either gender, gender-affirming or reproductive care.
Starting point is 01:48:12 So let's say that the wild-eyed maggot attorney general of Alabama wants to charge a physician in California with a criminal act of having performed a gender-affirming surgery. Gavin Newsom said, go ahead, buddy, you can extradite. the bill passed through the California legislature with no problem all the way back in February or no it was introduced in February passed in May the California Senate passed it in August
Starting point is 01:49:03 and then it died in a pool of tears and dust on Gavin Newsom's desk you cannot claim to be a pro-LGBQ governor and then deliberately put LGBTQ plus people at risk California is supposedly a sanctuary state. In California, people cannot be prosecuted for reproductive health care services or gender-affirming health care services in California. What Gavin Newsom said, however, is if they want to do that in Alabama, he will allow an extradition warrant to reach the desk of the governor in California
Starting point is 01:49:59 and might very damned well send somebody to that shithole maggot state to face the full force and fury of a bigoted attorney general or a bigoted county prosecutor and a bigoted judge and a bigoted jury. Because as the law stands in California now, if another state wants to criminally prosecute somebody in California, it's at the governor's discretion. whether to extradite, whether to honor an extradition warrant. Okay, maybe that'll be fine, you know, as long as there's a decent Democrat in the governor's office,
Starting point is 01:50:59 but what happens when you get a Republican and don't think it won't happen, especially with the jungle primary system in California? writing of his veto Newson said well if I allowed the legislature to take that discretionary authority away from the governor on his way out the door others will do the same in the future in a bid to limit the next governor's power so you can't protect trans people or women receiving reproductive care
Starting point is 01:51:36 you know this includes doctors who run operations where they do mail order Mitha Pristone and send it to women in shithole states like Alabama and Mississippi, West Virginia, Louisiana, Arkansas, Florida,
Starting point is 01:52:01 and he vetoed a bill that would have forbidden him from allowing that doctor to be extradited. But he wanted to make sure that he looked as good as he possibly could doing it. While I share the author's views on the importance
Starting point is 01:52:20 of protecting these important health care services, extradition, is an exclusively executive function. When discretionary, that discretion is appropriately placed with the governor. I'm troubled by the precedent that would be set if an outgoing administration agreed with the legislature to erode the executive authority of an incoming governor based on their shared policy preferences,
Starting point is 01:52:45 regardless of how righteous and well-intended those actions may be. See, it's righteous and well-intended to protect providers, of reproductive care and gender affirming care, that's righteous, and it's well intended. But gosh, he doesn't want his hands, a future governor's hands to be tied, even if that future governor is a raving, vomit, spewing, bigoted maggot.
Starting point is 01:53:22 So Gavin Newsom's ongoing evolution continues as he tries to moderate his way to the right, it started when he sat down for a little chat with Charles James Kirk Of course that was before Charlie leaned left in the end and lost the gun debate by a long shot And agreed with Charlie that oh it's just unfair for trans girls to compete in girls sports It's just unfair And this is you know It's the camel's nose under the tent
Starting point is 01:54:09 once the camel's nose is under the tent the next thing you know so is the hump and then it's the whole camel and then there's just not a lot of room in the tent for anybody else he apparently really really really wants to be president of the United States and he's willing to do it on the backs of trans people and we need our LGBTQ allies as much or more than we ever have
Starting point is 01:54:42 people have to call this out you can't allow one part of that group to be carved out because another group will be carved out after it like like the new republic article said it doesn't end once you give in to the fascist once they'll press you until you give in again and again and again until you've given in on everything and everybody's watching the parades of the troops going by goose stepping as they go You know, he also recently vetoed a bill that would have provided funding for gender-affirming care when other states were actually doing that. It's sad because it will. It'll go just like the UK did.
Starting point is 01:55:48 We'll start with kids, and then the next thing, you know, they're telling full-grown adults that they can't do anything to get rid of their gender dysphoria either. And I sit, and I try not to talk about this issue too much, because I know it gives people the icks. It's just the world we live in. I'm glad it doesn't give this community the icks that way. But I cannot emphasize enough. It was hell living with decades of gender dysphoria.
Starting point is 01:56:25 It was awful. Every day, constantly, being at war with your own basic nature. And it wasn't even a nature. It wasn't even a matter of sexuality. It was a fundamental matter of identity. something I had known since I was five years old and constantly battled to suppress and repress. And only, only when I was able to get the surgery that I desperately needed and don't think it was something I went into Ho-Hum because I'd never had anything more complicated than a tonsillectomy
Starting point is 01:57:14 and that at a time when I was too young to remember. I was terrified going in. I made this passionate speech to Annette as we sat there in the hospital, for a name to be called, about what happened if I, about what I would, what I would, what I was feeling about how I, how I felt at the time if I should happen not to wake up, but wake up I did. And when I woke up, it was the most wondrous sensation I have ever had in my life. Because for the first time in my life, my mind had gone quiet. There was no more existential battle internally going on.
Starting point is 01:58:09 there was no more bickering over boy versus girl. It was girl all along and girl one. And that only happened because of the surgery. Because insurance covered it and because I was able to pursue it and get it. And I had to jump through months and months and months of flaming barbed wire hoops to get there. Just like every other trans woman does.
Starting point is 01:58:41 And just as they've proven in England, the long-term goal, And you can go back to the 1970s and find books where the authors say the goal here is not to reduce it. The goal here is to eliminate people from being able to transition at all ever. And England is the experimental test case. They gave in a little bit, gave in a little bit more, gave in a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more. until now at this point it's practically illegal to try to relieve
Starting point is 01:59:36 one's gender dysphoria on that benighted island oh the irony there's every likelihood in the world that the subject of some of William Shakespeare's sonnets was a well a trans woman
Starting point is 02:00:00 there's a portrait of some lord or earl or whatever it is and done up in the fashion of the time. But art historians got a little curious because it seemed like there was something underneath it, and lo and behold, there was. And it was that same Lord or Earl earlier in his life. Only he had been painted as a beautiful young woman,
Starting point is 02:00:31 and Shakespeare knew her and fell for her. Even the movie Shakespeare in Love has trans overtones with Gwyneth Paltrow playing a woman madly in love with William Shakespeare who had to dress as a man and present as a man in order to just get close to him. Viola in the 12th night Shakespeare's play is a woman who has to live as a man until she can finally be the woman she is. That's part of the reason I chose Viaglia. as one of my names when I changed my name.
Starting point is 02:01:23 It was also the name of one of my great-grandmothers. But that's the slippery slope. Gavin Newsom is more than happy to go down. And Marcy Capter, and James Calerico and Amy Acton. Bless his heart, Abdul El-Said, says, I'm not getting into anybody's private business. Now let's talk about something that matters to all of us. How much you're paying for gas?
Starting point is 02:01:54 When's the last time you were able to buy? a stake and that's as close to the right answer as we can get and this is the kind of stuff beyond the hall hall hall Tommy Tuberville is so goddamn stupid and funny that's all well and good but the people who get up in the morning
Starting point is 02:02:18 and the people that really matter to Joe and Mika and Willie there and the people behind the scenes at Morning Joe the people that really matter are the politicians who get up and watch them every morning and Jesus Christ do they need educate and among other things we need to make it abundantly clear clear that uh worrying about what
Starting point is 02:02:42 people's genitals are uh it says a lot more about the person worrying than the people than the person being uh worried about means you're a creep i wonder if joe knows that or mecca well that's her heart nica seemed so confused by that story uh she had that sort of uh wide-eyed open mouth look Vanessa Redgrave had off to a T, as Monty Python observed. Let's check some... By the way, we are into the third hour of the program. Hey, Matt. Matt says, you know Tommy has a bunny suit in his closet.
Starting point is 02:03:39 Oh, I think he's got a... I don't know. Matt, do you think he's more likely got a bunny suit? I said the tiger suit from Auburn University, because they're the tigers. I wonder if it's a sheep. Oh, don't worry, that's just, yeah. And that's so true. Cynthia says, damn right, it was hell.
Starting point is 02:04:37 I was so close to suicide so many times. I'm sure the pigs out there are sorry I didn't do myself, but I guarantee a lot of kids will do themselves, as all hope is taken away. Well, in just the short time since, since, these horrors were visited upon kids in
Starting point is 02:04:57 Marioli, England. The rates of trans kids committing suicide is up considerably higher than those of their cis counterparts. And that's because the government of the septerid realm has gone to war
Starting point is 02:05:15 with children, adolescents, teenagers. And for that, and for kids that age we're not even talking and when we say gender affirming care we're not talking about surgery sometimes it's as little as a change of clothing and a haircut or a hairstyle and as far as the furries are concerned cynthia says and don't even even tell them about comic con help help the aliens are invading and we don't even want to know about alien sex oh yes they do they're perverts cynthia yep they're going to have to close down Disneyland she says and no more mascots at football
Starting point is 02:05:57 games or anywhere else. Yeah, I mentioned yesterday, I mentioned Big Al in Tuscaloosa and the tiger there in Auburn and I'm sure they got a tiger at Clemson and a tiger at LSU and
Starting point is 02:06:12 is there any how about the University of California? How about those golden bears? Do they have somebody in a bear suit? Yeah. How about UCLA? They're the Bruins. Brewing is a stand-in for the bear. They have a brewing mascot. Does a lepricon count as a furry? He does have that weird little
Starting point is 02:06:40 red fringy beard. What about Ohio State? I mean, it's not a furry per se. You could argue it's worse than a furry because it's someone wandering around dressed up as a tree nut that happens to be poison. Is there, is there somebody in a, I know there's somebody in a, there's somebody in a There's somebody in a Wolverine suit at Michigan, and I know damned well there's somebody in a badger suit at Wisconsin. That's my... And then, well, what about South Carolina? The Gamecocks. I mean, I know what Lindsey Graham thought about when he thought Gamecock.
Starting point is 02:07:37 But two of my favorite college athletic slogans are, well, one comes from Wisconsin. fucking Bucky Bucky Badger And the other comes from the University of South Carolina South Carolina Nobody licks our cocks Those are very much real
Starting point is 02:08:01 I'm not trying to put the program in the gutter Yeah Cynthia that's not bad Turnip Tuberville He is a turnip Although I don't know why the turnips get the hate I love turnips And its larger cousin The Routabega
Starting point is 02:08:24 Jeremy says Tommy clearly had a tickle in his pickle looking at furries It's blatant and obvious Just like all these MAGA right Sick fucks I think you're right I think you're entirely correct
Starting point is 02:08:39 Enough of that Let's be moving on, shall we? This is apropos of nothing But I did get a Just a Well, how do you like that? For this one we go to Jonesboro, Arkansas Stan, where a man named Gregory Curtis Daphron, aged 35, is being held on a $250,000 bond in Craighead County Detention Center, having been arrested a couple of days ago on the 22nd, on 44 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material.
Starting point is 02:09:31 It turns, guess what, not a drag queen. No, not a drag queen. Not a queer, not a gay. Nope. But we do know what he is because, well, in his mugshot,
Starting point is 02:09:52 Gregory Curtis Daphron is wearing a t-shirt that reads, and exactly no one will be surprised by this. Gulf of America. established 2025
Starting point is 02:10:14 Fort Walton Beach, Florida because they sell that down at Fort Walton on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Jonesboro Police got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children of a Google account that had uploaded 44 videos of child sexual abuse material. I'm going to avoid the triggering
Starting point is 02:10:52 that would be involved with telling you what those videos were of. So they got a search warrant. And they sent in the Jonesboro PD, SWAT, U.S. Marshals, and the FBI. Oh, dear, they sent the FBI. You can almost be certain that Trash Patel is eagerly reviewing the child sexual abuse material, even as we speak. And there's 44 counts now, but more may be covered. coming.
Starting point is 02:11:43 Craig Head County District Court Judge Tommy Fowler said, yeah, there's 44 counts, but that's just what they have so far. There could be well over 100 counts. Gulf of America. I love me some liberal tears. How do you like that, liberals? Of course. And as Ralph's notes in sending me the article, the Ohio County, the Ohio Democratic Party, sorry, we have an Ohio County in West. Virginia. The entire Democratic
Starting point is 02:12:33 Party structure of Ohio has muzzled its Pride Caucus to prevent criticism of the blatant transphobia. You know, it's not just that Marcy Captor issued a statement
Starting point is 02:12:50 or said something offhand. Oh, no. She made an ad out of it. Braying about her bigotry. The Pride Caucus posted something about it and the Ohio Democratic Party immediately turned around and deleted it. Some elements of the Ohio Democratic Party, the progressive wing, are insisting that Captor take
Starting point is 02:13:32 down the ads. They're demanding that Marcy Capter unringed the bell. The Lucas County Ohio Democrats said, this is the type of harmful ad we expect from Derek Marin and the Republicans. We're disappointed and ashamed that the Captor campaign stooped to their level. And the Ohio Democratic Party made no effort whatsoever to reach out to the Progressive or the Pride Caucus in particular. The Stonewall Democrats in Ohio said Lucas County, Ohio said there's no difference between whether Marcy Kaptor or Derek Marin serves as our next Congressperson. You're both united against the LGBTQIA plus community. Wood County Democrats told her campaign, take this ad down immediately. Proud of the Lucas County, young Democrats, they said our trans community is not an ideology.
Starting point is 02:14:45 they are our neighbors, friends, family members, and as a reminder, often fellow Democrats, furthermore, their people, not political pawns, or a fear-mongering tactic. Jesus. With friends like these,
Starting point is 02:15:15 oh dear. And, well, it seems a natural segue. Blessings upon her forevermore. Dolly Parton didn't judge people. And she loved her queer and trans fans
Starting point is 02:15:45 lesbian, gay, bisexual, what have you, as much as any others. And she passed away, wealthy. Oh, my heaven's wealthy. And now her nephew, who was in charge of her security, is raising hell and trying to get at her estate to the point of saying, I'm dangerous, I'll kill people. Well, it's not Wednesday anymore, but, well, there is that verse.
Starting point is 02:16:33 The love of money is the root. of all evil. From that in San Francisco, never again. I know I sound like a broken record, but never again means we need to stop this hate shit in its tracks. This otherizing shit is where it starts. We shouldn't be waiting until the camps are built. Oh wait, there are already camps, detention centers, etc. Anyway, head on a swivel, people, and don't let anyone get away with any snide remarks aimed at trans people.
Starting point is 02:17:22 All this fomenting is already causing increased violence to a community that already experiences more violence and hate. I know love wins and shit, but I think we got some fighting to do before we can declare a win. These people are not kidding around. Look what they whipped up on January the 6th. That hate is just boiling out there, looking for a place to focus. Come on, history. We endanger, folks. Circle the wagons. Matt gets it. Matt knows. You know, quarter century ago, their groomers and their recruiting our children was being deployed against the gay community. But then, well, that was proven to be untrue and done so with extreme prejudice because the gay community rallied. And so these mainly 501c3 tax-exempt grifts looked around for,
Starting point is 02:18:34 an easier target. And starting about 2014, when Laverne Cox at the height of her popularity with Orange is the New Black, when she appeared on the cover of time,
Starting point is 02:18:59 well, these 501C3 tax-exempt grifts, these right-wing cess pits swung into action and they knew they had their new target. Because they know trans people are only 1% of the population that
Starting point is 02:19:16 probably at least 85% of the population know nothing meaningful about. And so the targets were zeroed in and the bull's eyes were painted.
Starting point is 02:19:41 And here we are. Because trans people cannot defend ourselves. Not that we're weak. We can be quite fierce. But now, you know, they've moved on for, I mean, you're sick, groomers. But then, you know, that's lost a little bit of its force because every time they holler groomer, you turn around and you get a guy in Jonesboro, Arkansas with a Gulf of America t-shirt,
Starting point is 02:20:10 and at least 44 child sexual abuse videos, and, well, you know how he votes. So now they've moved on to, you know, trans people are dangerous assassins. And every time there's a shooting, every time there's a shooting, filthy, vile, disgusting animals like Chia Rat Chick over at Libs of TikTok immediately starts posting that the shooter was trans
Starting point is 02:20:43 because they're a trans maniac. And now we've got FBI memos out there saying that trans ideology radicalizes people into murdering other people, and yet the people doing the murdering, the number that if you expressed it as a percentage, you'd need a dot and a whole
Starting point is 02:20:59 shitload of zeros before you got a numeral, a positive numeral, of the number of mass shooters who are trans. And the other side of that number would be almost exclusively cis white, straight men. But the third way, assholes have decided that they want to cruise to victory on the beaten down backs of people who are just trying to finally live happily within their own bodies. And that's the other side of the coin. That's what I was talking about a minute ago. I've been happier, and November will mark five years.
Starting point is 02:21:55 I've been happier in these five years than I've ever known it was possible to be, just because all the internal bickering is gone. Some trans people think that gender dysphoria is just something you have to live with for the rest of your life, and you have to battle with it, and that is simply not fucking true. it can be resolved. I'm living proof. Did I tell you all the story from yesterday? If I did, let me know after I've told it again.
Starting point is 02:22:41 I had my annual mammogram yesterday. And I can happily report that I got the all-clear. Everything's fine and dandy. But on the way, home on the way back to the mansion I stopped up at the Wiggling Pig because they've got a nice little hot bar in there and you can get a better
Starting point is 02:23:07 dinner there than you can at any fast food joint for nine bucks and I just wasn't into coming home and cooking so Wednesdays oh don't don't send me the icky emojis okay don't send me the emojis Wednesdays at the Wiggling Pigs
Starting point is 02:23:29 come on it's West Virginia we're hillbillies we're country people Wednesdays are fried chicken liver day and those ladies back there in the deli at the Wiglin Pig I mean to tell you they cook oh gracious sakes alive and they had mac and cheese and turnip greens and
Starting point is 02:23:54 so I took I stopped and I brought back two dinners but here's the fun part I don't think I told this story I was turning down an aisle, and I saw somebody, a neighbor. Doesn't live a mile away. I know him well. In fact, I think we're distant cousins.
Starting point is 02:24:22 Oh, congratulations, Cynthia. I had my mammogram on Tuesday myself. She says, smash and squeeze. All good. Yeah, my favorite part of the mammogram is when you stand there doing those Romanian gymnast poses. Lee Lee says you didn't feel like cooking Confess what have you done with Roxanne
Starting point is 02:24:46 Sometimes Roxanne doesn't And I'd been up Because well Didn't sleep real well a night before And you know fretting and worrying Because I'm a professional worrier And my mother had breast cancer So I don't just sashay in all laudidae da
Starting point is 02:25:05 Take it very seriously but that's that's another that's another clean one so yay and rather than go home and put on the apron and start cooking no i got us i got us two fried chicken liver dinners and i was turning the aisle and there and i hadn't seen him for three or four years uh known him for 25 and uh i'm just me and I'm right neighborly. And I said, well, hey, my goodness gracious, I haven't seen you in ages. How are you? He called him by name and everything. How's everything going? You been all right?
Starting point is 02:25:59 How's the family? I was genuinely excited to see him. And he just looked at me. Not hateful or anything. Just looked at me. And I sound better in person than I do on the radio. But he said nothing. And finally he said, do I know you, ma'am?
Starting point is 02:26:31 And I said, well, of course, name. It's me, it's Robin. And he just kept looking. And I could see the wheels turning, and the smoke was coming out of his ears, so I knew he was thinking. And he said, Robin, who? And I said, Robin dead name. And he said, well, how about that? I said, sure was nice seeing you.
Starting point is 02:27:06 and turned around and sashayed up to the checkout aisle. I got checked out, and it turned out he'd checked out at about the same time. We wound up walking out of the store at the same time, and he was putting his groceries in the car, and I was putting my groceries in the car, and I said, hey, tell his wife, I said hello and sent my love. I bet those grandkids are already all the way out of high school. They graduated, haven't they?
Starting point is 02:27:32 He said, yeah, I said, why, goodness gracious, said, time sure flies. well you have a good day now and got in my car and drove away and i gotta tell you it was kind of a wild experience this is like i said this is somebody who knew me well in the before time like i said neighbors we'd go up and do cookouts together and to be completely unrecognized i gotta say it was uh it was a moment and the well
Starting point is 02:28:29 that's something that happens uh with transatlans people. We don't think about all the changes. We don't think about being unrecognizable. But, you know, there I was in the flesh. And I don't think that fellow's ever voted for a Democrat in his life, so I know he's heard all the propaganda and all the filth and all the hate. I came home and told Annette the story, and she laughed, and she said, oh, my God, I bet the coconut telegraphs a humming. And I said, you know it is. It was fun. It was interesting. Fascinating, really.
Starting point is 02:29:21 But I just thought I'd share that. Mammogram. Lee says, I have to repeat the line. Dimm's spake boobs. No, dim is not. And it was, as potentially scary as it was, it was quite affirming, too. I looked at the images this morning, and I saw things I thought I would never see.
Starting point is 02:30:02 That's a beautiful moment. Ralph, I'll be thinking of you. Ralph says in November, I'm going to have an extra squishy mammogram. Ow! Because I have an area of concern on my left breast. I hope it turns out to be a great big, ginormous nothing. And we will all send those hopes your way, Ralph's. Fingers crossed.
Starting point is 02:30:32 Fingers crossed. So, gosh, we're almost... Almost done with the program. Well, thank you. Lisa's congratulations at growing your own. Yeah, I'll never forget that moment. That old lady. I'm Spike Babes.
Starting point is 02:31:00 And me turning around to her and using my best Darth Vader voice and saying, Yes, ma'am, they are. But I'm working real hard to grow my own as best as I can. And turned on my little heel and walked away. And it took Annette to tell me, she wasn't clocking you. she caught her dirty old man,
Starting point is 02:31:20 her dirty old man husband staring at your tits. And then Matt made it a thousand times better. Oh, Brother Deacon, I wonder where that's, I wonder, I wonder where that issue of the program is. I love, I love those old archive shows where I completely fall apart laughing. Those, those, those, those, those moments are pure magic. That would have been, what, March or May of 2021? It wasn't terribly cold.
Starting point is 02:32:00 I remember what I was wearing. So maybe May of 21? Yeah. So what else as we move toward the close of the program? Oh, there's plenty. I do, I confess, I like these videos. I like that. They're sort of Road to Damascus videos, you know,
Starting point is 02:32:37 where people begin to have the lights come on for them. the scales fall away from their eyes. Oh, Cynthia says that happened to me two years ago with a former supervisor. I didn't like all that much anyway, but I ran into him and said, hi, expecting him to recognize me. He didn't. I just said, oops or something, let it go and walked away. And I had a scary moment myself after a mammogram about 10 years ago. They called me back in and did all these additional scans and determined it wasn't cancer after all,
Starting point is 02:33:06 but something benign that initially looked like it. Really, yeah, I can imagine. Oh, the horror, the fear. And you having gone through that, Cynthia, I know that your heart is with Ralps. But no, this clip is from CNBC because every news organization on Earth is sending reporters parachuting into the heartland to find out how those
Starting point is 02:33:46 heartland hardworking heart and soul of America maggots are feeling these days let's find out from squawk on the street record diesel hits Iowa farmers
Starting point is 02:34:02 so I travel a pretty large area here in our counties I'm seeing a lot of blue signs this election cycle that two years ago, four years ago, I was seen zero. And this year, it's just the opposite. I'm seeing zero red signs and all blue signs in areas that typically, you know, I wouldn't expect to see them in.
Starting point is 02:34:28 And so to me, that's, you know, let's tell me something. Somebody's out there and they've changed their mind. Now we did also speak to farmers who said they feel disillusioned by what's going on in Washington with one telling me that he feels his crop is being used as a negotiating chip in D.C. Well, wait, the farmers feel like they're being used? Huh! Well, well, well, well, well, dip me in batter and call me chicken finger. How about that?
Starting point is 02:35:17 But now I feel like Trump doesn't give a crap. Mr. Maga there, buddy, newsflash. He never did. He thinks you're stupid. Remember when he said he loved the uneducated? Yeah, that was you he was talking about. I know. It's hard to believe. But, yeah, the orange man with scads of bankruptcies who cheated on his first wife with his second wife and cheated on his second wife and cheated on his second wife with his third wife and had an affair with a porn star right after his third wife had given birth to his fifth kid. Yeah, he never cared about you, honey. You were always less than the dirt beneath his feet.
Starting point is 02:36:33 Oh, but he made you feel like he cared, didn't you? Yeah. And it felt real good, didn't it? Uh-huh. Well, the Texas cattle rancher. are pissed off too. This from meat to prostitutes. Trump's beef imports face backlash from
Starting point is 02:37:05 Texas cattle farmers. Yeah. Mo. As Republicans worry that affordability issues could cost them votes all across the map in the midterms, when typically reliable constituency is making some Republicans very nervous. Cattle ranchers.
Starting point is 02:37:28 They've been hit hard by the White House's efforts to lower the cost of beef for American consumers. Politico is reporting, citing two people with direct knowledge of the conversation that the White House is weighing whether to roll back the president's plan to increase beef imports because of frustration from Republicans in farm states. The White House denied it was considering any such action.
Starting point is 02:37:49 The issue of beef prices is playing predominantly in Texas. The state Democrats are feeling increasingly bullish about. NBC News correspondent. Oh, I heard what they did. They're bullish. This is a part of the food chain few Americans ever see. And every Wednesday, a hundred ranchers come from near and far to the city of West Texas for the cattle auction. Been there. Nowadays, it's a buyer's market.
Starting point is 02:38:16 What's it like in the cattle business nowadays? Uh, volatile. Brian Upmore has led the sale here for decades. Lately, he says, feels like everything is working against the ranchers. Supplies are tight, real estate values, urban sprawl, data centers, solar panels, fight over the land. It's going to make it harder for us to produce food at an affordable level. Adding to the pressure, ranchers say one policy shift from the Trump administration is undercutting their business. The president announcing late last month, he will import an additional 661 million pounds of foreign beef at low.
Starting point is 02:38:58 lower tariff rates. White House says the move will lower beef prices for consumers. Yeah, 661 million pounds of foreign beef that's been laying around in freezers for years. We learned that. I guess they didn't have time to put that into the package there at the meat press. But for cattle ranchers, it's more foreign competition, but times are already tough. They can get the meat imported in cheaper than what they can buy it in the ring here, and then they don't have to haul it, they don't have to process. Yeah, that affects us, bam, right away. The decision has drawn criticism from some of the president's supporters.
Starting point is 02:39:40 I always support him, but I had to disagree with him on importing this beef. It caused some problems. A lot of ranchers are very upset about it. Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller's been raising cattle on this ranch for decades, and he's still a working rancher. Yeah, he's still a working rancher who still hasn't figured it out. Said, buddy, you can't disagree with the smartest man in the whole wide world. That'll just make you a dumb, a dumb, disloyal maggot. And he'll hate you.
Starting point is 02:40:12 He'll call you a rhino or something, or maybe suggest that you're one of the transies. You picked up cattle for yourself this morning. Yeah, I'm going to got 35 head. But after 12 years in office, he lost his primary. and will soon leave office after this year. Now he's sounding the alarm. Yeah, guess why he lost his primary? Yeah, because he got, he took Nitwit Niro's boot out of his mouth.
Starting point is 02:40:43 And they don't like that. The maggots don't like that. You have to be loyal. You have to be loyal when you rise in the morning and stay loyal all day and be loyal as you lay your little head down at night. And even daring to even remotely disagree with Orange Daddy means that, well, I don't care how good of a Texas Agriculture Commissioner you were. You can't be that no more because you're a traitor to daddy. Morning, rural America is hurting, and their anger may cost other Republicans this November.
Starting point is 02:41:21 There's the beef prices. There's tariffs. There's diesel and fertilizer prices. It's a death by thousand cuts. I hope I'm wrong, but I think we're going to lose some statewide offices. I think this is a bad year. To ease ranchers' worries late last month, the Trump administration unveiled their rancher's first initiative, issuing a package of executive orders aimed at giving ranchers a leg up. Yeah, that's so much bullshit.
Starting point is 02:41:46 Why do you even bother to mention it? You could just as easily say that last month, the Trump, I mean, White House said that, you said that, it will personally send a sex worker to every cattle rancher in the country. And it would have about the same degree of meaning. Not to say that some of them shit-kickers wouldn't I actually like that better than the monetaries. But would I get a free hooker? A secretary, Brooke Rawlins, tells us they're focusing on the long-term strength of the national herd while navigating short-term disturbances for consumers.
Starting point is 02:42:30 This is a very short-term fix to support all Americans eating beef while sending the signal for the long term. Like I mentioned, all the different actions that we've... Brookie, honey, are you going to eat any of that beef? I want to see you do it. Mm-hmm. You ever had freezer burned beef, Brookie? No, I'm sure you get yours fresh, don't you? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 02:42:58 just run down to the butcher shop and get yourself a nice, fresh, $200 tenderloin. Or maybe just have them slice up a whole slab of New York strips, because, well, you know, that's your orange daddy's favorite cut. Do you like it? Do you like it medium rare, Brookie? Because that's disloyal to Daddy. Daddy likes some, Daddy likes some grilled to the point. that they're charred and burnt and barely can be recognized as beef anymore.
Starting point is 02:43:36 Better be, it better be New York strip, Brookie. Just saying. And more to come will continue to take to build and continue to build the biggest, the largest, and the best beef in the world. And make no mistake, this is still Trump country. The ranchers we met gave the president some grace. Hey, Grace, who's going to tell Brookie about Wagyu beef? I'm just curious, you know, Kobe.
Starting point is 02:44:02 Who? Anybody? No? Best beef in the world. In hopes of long-term success. Especially tasty with screw flies. As long as that we win this midterm, I think we'll be cool. I think that it's like making an omelet, you know, it gets a little messy at first.
Starting point is 02:44:24 It turns out pretty good. But in an election year... Yeah, but the problem is the eggs is rotten there, Cletus. Looking razor thin with Democrat James Tala Rico narrowly leading the polls for the Senate race, any apathy in rural Texas could hurt Republicans' chances. Ultimately, ranchers say they just want to be left alone. Give us a fair and open playing field and let us do our jobs. And give us some free money.
Starting point is 02:44:53 Subsidies. We do like our subsidies. We do. That's how come we're able to buy them Eddie Bauer Ford pickup trucks. It costs about $100,000 a pop. We would like some subsidies. We would. Ah, Jesus.
Starting point is 02:45:19 Meanwhile, on the journalism front, Nittweet Nero lost another one today. Entering a temporary restraining order, U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly ordered the Maggot White House to restore access to CNN, MS Now, and Politico. Regardless, however, even after the order was entered, the Secret Service checkpoints,
Starting point is 02:45:59 turned away the reporters with CNN's Betsy Klein being told she wasn't in the system and a seizure of a photojournalist badge. Laura Barron Lopez of MS Now was disabled. Her hard pass was listed as disabled, and then it was confiscated, and they confiscated a Politico reporter's credentials, too. And at that point in time, Judge Kelly said he ordered the Magid administration to address these issues by 1230 p.m. With the White House United States Secret Service violating his order to restore media access. Oh, haul some in, Judge.
Starting point is 02:46:57 Tell them to bring their toothbrushes. Have some extra marshals in the courtroom, why don't you? And now, testicle toasting Tuckio Rose Carlson is spilling some tea about nitwit Niro's illegal war against Iran. Yeah. He said he talked with Trump on multiple occasions about the war, and, well, let's let testicle toasting Tuckio Rose tell it for himself. One counter question about the president's motives. Your idea is he was told to go to war by someone and did it almost against his will.
Starting point is 02:47:56 I'm thinking it's called Occam's Razor, the idea that the most likely explanation for something is a simplest. Yeah. Would a simpler explanation be the president has no idea about foreign affairs, doesn't listen to people, and made a mistake? Well, that's not likely in his case because it's not true. And I'm not guessing about this. I was there.
Starting point is 02:48:17 I mean, I spoke to Trump at least 10 times in the month of February, probably more in the month of January. I visited almost every single, except for Iran, I visited every country now involved in this war in the month before the war. So, because I knew it was coming. And I had known that since February 4th of 2025 when Benjamin Netanyahu showed up as the first visitor to the White House. And I knew exactly why he was there. And of course, I heard from people in the meeting why he was there. He was there to push the war we're currently in. So I knew that Trump was under immense pressure, and therefore, beginning then, I talked to him about it, you know, for a full year.
Starting point is 02:48:54 And he was not only aware of the risks, he understood them. And he understood them because they're so obvious, but they also are exactly the kind of thing that Trump understands. Commodities prices for. So obvious, even a Trump can understand them. That sounds like, wasn't that the old Geico cave? man commercial example, which don't tell the whole story about anything, but they are the basis, really, of any economy, the price of commodities. And Trump follows them closely. And the commodity he follows most closely, of course, is energy, is oil and gas. And he's really interested in the topic.
Starting point is 02:49:34 He talks about it constantly. And he understood that this entire, the pivotal oil and gas region in the world could be shut down very quickly once this war began. He understood that. We talked about it at length, and he didn't want to do it. He also talked about, beginning in 2003, the foolishness of fighting a war across the world whose aims are unclear. In other words, the Iraq war, which he was offended by instantly, to his great credit, he knew that that's the destruction of a president. I mean, he wants it to me. When George W. Bush took office, he had all these plans, among them, reforming Social Security, charitable choice. I mean, he should go back to his inaugural. A land war with Iraq was not on the list.
Starting point is 02:50:21 And yet, of course, it defined his presidency and will for all time and destroyed his presidency and him as a man. Trump meditated on that for 20 years. Meditated or marinated testicle toasting, Tocchio Rose. And I may be wrong, but I seem to recall back then because the only people who were saying that this was a terrible idea is mostly progressives. Well, golly Moses, I seem to recall that Tuckie O. Rose here was still on a little program at CNN called Crossfire, wasn't he? But wherever he was, wasn't he beating his chest and the drums of war at the same time? You know, Saddam Hussein had a hand in 9-11? Maybe not. I don't know.
Starting point is 02:51:17 a long time ago. And so the idea that Trump didn't know the risks, and once again, I'm in an unusual position because I talk to Trump. But you've quoted him as waving off the risk by saying it'll all be fine, which could always... You want to know what he said? I'll tell you exactly what he said. I haven't said this, but I'm just going to tell you.
Starting point is 02:51:32 Sure. And this is a fact. And I could look at my calendar, but it was in... I had flown back from Tel Aviv from Ben-Gurian Airport after seeing the ambassador, and two days later it was in the Oval with Trump alone. And he was annoyed that I had given Huck. be a hard time with this whole conversation about Huckabee. And I said, here you're U.S. as the son of an ambassador, I know what the job entails.
Starting point is 02:51:55 And your ambassador, your representative to this nation just called for rearranging the Middle East and allowing Israel to take parts of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria. Like, this is a diplomatic incident. And so we had this whole conversation about this. But then I said, this war is not about Iran's nuclear program, which you told me in the world that you eliminated back in last summer in June. Yeah. Can you imagine him actually saying that to nitwit Niro? Because I honest to Jesus Stanton, by the way, this is NPR giving free publicity to testicle toasting Tuckio Rose Carlson on their newsmakers program. War is being pushed by Israel with three aims.
Starting point is 02:52:40 One, its own regional hegemony, take Iran off the map. They don't have freedom of movement as long as Iran is a real. regional power. Two, diminishing the power of the GCC, the six Gulf states, which are a rival to Israel and are becoming this kind of Switzerland of the Middle East, and that's bad for Israeli interests. And three, getting the U.S. out of the Middle East, because we constrain their ambitions, getting our bases out, destroying our bases. Israel wants our bases out of the Middle East. I said this to Trump, to his face in the Oval Office days before the war began. And he looked at me and said, yes, you're right.
Starting point is 02:53:18 But in the end, we all die anyway. So it doesn't matter. That's exactly what he said. In the end, we all die anyway. And I said to him, shocked, but what about our kids and our grandkids and, like, our country? And he goes, ah, that's, that's a, that's a, I don't know.
Starting point is 02:53:38 You didn't respond. That's a verbatim exchange. And so that is the, epitome of nihilism. How many times have I said on this program? He does not care what happens after him. He does not care about the future because he doesn't have one. I personally think he despises Trader Tot and probably Eric the Dumber 2.
Starting point is 02:54:19 The only one he really cares about is I-Wanka, and he doesn't care enough about her to wonder, to care about their future. We all die anyway. And for all that plover about how he despised Bush, I can't help but be reminded that back during
Starting point is 02:54:43 the the horrors of Bush War II, somebody asked dear leader, dim leader, about history's judgment of him, to which dim leader
Starting point is 02:55:05 replied, He'll all, history, we'll all be dead. He ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, what does it matter? I bet you remember that too. Funny how the nihilistic streak runs most broadly and deeply
Starting point is 02:55:28 through right-wing so-called conservatism. What we all know is fascism. But it does. Curiously, when NPR reached out to the White House for comment on what Carlson had said, they didn't deny
Starting point is 02:55:53 it. Instead, Trump said... Perhaps he should see a good psychiatrist. Perhaps Trump should... Well, by the way, he fiercely denied, which means it's absolutely true, a report from a day or so ago, that the White House was considering adding Trump's name, to Ford's theater. Oh, he jumped up and down and said that the media was depraved. whatever, but it was a White House source inside. But drilling down into the story just a little bit more,
Starting point is 02:56:52 sources told outlets that, well, sometimes they just make lists of places they could name after Trump because it makes him happy. And, of course, the Interior Department owns Ford's Theater. So he threw a full-on hissy, Natalie the Harpy, triping madly away for him The story that the White House or me want to If me want to
Starting point is 02:57:29 The story that the White House or me Want to fix my name to Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C., where Abraham Lincoln was assassinated It's a ridiculous lie It's fake news Who would possibly want a name on such a tragic place? So we know it's true Because, of course, it is.
Starting point is 02:57:56 And he went on to suggest that anyone publishing that story were degenerates and losers. They're degenerates and losers who make up lie after lie, and the sports theater hoax is just another one of their never-ending malicious falsehoods to try to discredit and demean. Thank you for your attention to this matter. But he has also said that no one has ever been treated worse than I have.
Starting point is 02:58:36 When, you know, poor Abraham Lincoln got a bullet in the back of his head for his troubles in forts theater. Fucker Carlson, Matt says, I think he, Tucker is full of shite. Like a Christmas goose, Matt. In other words, says Cynthia, that guy is just as fucking stupid as Trump. Bingo! Oh, and Ralphs tells me that after 1230,
Starting point is 02:59:16 the White House Secret Service let CNN, MSNBC, and Politico back in. You're damn right, they did. And Ralph, you know why. Because they didn't want to stand in front of Judge Kelly and say, sure, that's what Daddy wants and what Daddy wants. Daddy gets, and, well, if you want to put us, in jail for contempt. That's just what?
Starting point is 02:59:36 No, they didn't want to do that. Lee pointing out, Tucker talked to Donnie. Big deal. Many people talk to Donnie. I doubt he listens to many. I'm sure he recalls a little of what is said, including by him. Less now, more than ever. I do, I do
Starting point is 02:59:56 think Tuckio Rose is correct in his assessments of Israel's ambitions. They hate us, but at the same time they really, really, really love our money and they love the blood of our
Starting point is 03:00:17 soldiers that we shed instead of them having to do their dirty work themselves so that's the program and by the way out in San Francisco David sent me a message a little bit ago
Starting point is 03:00:35 saying oh these journalists once back in the press room should hurl Boku F bombs at keyrump any chance they get I would pay good money for that to see that. So that's the program. Thanks everybody for joining in in whatever manner you choose. Thanks to our challenge makers and challenge respondents. Thank you, Daryl and Ralphs.

Over a quarter century at the forefront of the struggle for human rights and environmental justice in Appalachia and a proud union shop, please stay safe, everybody. You know, I wonder where that beef is going to wind up,
Starting point is 03:02:50 and something makes me think it's going to be in the kinds of food where they use downer cattle. Roger was talking about that a couple of Fridays ago. You know, you're dinty more beef stew, your whore milk, chili or hormal tamales, et cetera. Shame on me. I have a... I just love those canned tamales. I do.
Starting point is 03:03:12 I know they're heresies, but... The sauce is so good. Yeah, Ralph says, Tuckums is so full of shit. Oh, yes, he is. That's probably why his eyes are brown. It's just risen that high. Not loyal going back to the Texas.
Starting point is 03:03:34 Agriculture Commissioner. Steve says, lull, L-O-A-L-L-L. Steve adding, MS now and CNN were refused to access just minutes ago. Well, I'll be damned. Looks like the Secret Service might have to be going back and bringing their toothbrushes to talk to Judge Kelly after all. Yeah. So, yeah, do stay safe. and well
Starting point is 03:04:01 if a dairy farmer from Wisconsin comes towards you babbling about all that decimating going on avoid her like the plague because she is and always
