Starting point is 00:00:02 The password is speed run. It's showtime. Here we go, live from behind the corn phone curtain. It's head-on with Roxanne Kincaid. Three hours of cussin and discussin with America's only liberal transvilly elitists right here, right now, on the head-on radio network.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Brought to you in part by Cole River Mountain Watch, who invites you to be part of the uprising against mountaintop removal, CRMW.net. And now, from high in the hills of West by God, Virginia, here she is. Roxanne Kincaid. Well, howdy. And here we go, off and running on this third day of September, 2006. This is the horn.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Head on dot live is where you'll find us on the interweb tubes. That's where we, that's where you go. If you'd like to be part of the Merry Wacky's Ainey's Ainey. real-time Madcap multimedia extravaganza that is the horn chat room in the three hours in which this program is live Monday through Friday 5 to 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 2 to 5 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time, all time zones in between and the Great Blue Brown and whatever time it is when you're listening to the podcast. And for those of you who are members of the podcast and content of the Horn Family Community Congregation, well, thank you ever so kindly for joining us in that fashion and spending your time with us that way.
Starting point is 00:02:00 As usual, if I could please implore more of you to leave us a comment, a remark, a review on the podcast. It'll help get us to that miraculous millionth download a little bit faster, hopefully. And thanks to those of you who already leave comments, it really does mean a lot to me and to all the people who go into making this little broadcast operation keep chugging. along as we approach that quarter century mark here in a couple of years. Hi, I'm Roxanne. If you're listening live, thank you so much for being with us on this Thorn in the Side Thursday. A quick program note after this program closes. Well, make sure you tune in for Malloy over at Progressive Voices on Tune In because, I mean, always do that anyway. But Tara,
Starting point is 00:03:00 and I are subbing from Alloy this evening. And I hope you like what you hear. Thanks. Thanks again. Every program here at the horn begins with gratitude, and this program is no different. So thanks go out to our third day of the month subscribers via PayPal, contributors via PayPal as well. So here are we now.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Agnabit. Let's try that again. It's a little slow today. Thank you, Charlie, over at APS Radio News. And thank you to Sylvie. Thank you, Sylvie, out in New Mexico so very much. Thank you, Anne, across the pond. Thank you all so kindly for keeping being partial sponsors of the program and helping to keep all of this going, the plates spinning on all the sticks,
Starting point is 00:04:12 etc., etc., etc. where we find ourselves in terms of funding the program. Well, we are at, let's see, at 22.35. 20, 30, no, 22, 10. We're at $2,210 in the hole. Yesterday was a goose egg. if we can just please raise $150, we can, well, if we can raise $150, then Bruce and Karen's Memorial Challenge will have been met. And that number will come down to 1,610, meaning we're just a little over, well, $110 passed a week.
Starting point is 00:05:13 unfunded. So if we could just jump on that, anybody, it doesn't matter. Five dollars at a time, $10 at a time. It all gets doubled up to $150. And thank you to Ralphson, an anonymous friend for being there for that matching challenge at the beginning of the month. Thank you very much indeed. Now, as to that password, yeah, speed run, well, good times being had, I didn't know such a party down there in Arkansas. Then with what being, how that's a deeply maggot state, and they got all them fine upstanding Christian.
Starting point is 00:06:08 and family values down there. And, yeah, I'm sure people like Reggie and Haley are well aware of this story, but practically jumped out the pixels at me. Ah, Jesus. Yeah, you can't make this stuff up. there in Bentonville which of course is home to
Starting point is 00:06:50 among other places things Wally World Wait no this is Missouri I'm sorry, my bad Missouri I don't know where I got Bentonville Sorry My apologies to the Horn family community Congregation contingent there in Arkansas
Starting point is 00:07:14 No this is out of Missouri, just one state north. Hi, Kanda. Yeah, apparently it's a literally a high old time there in the show me state. Earlier today, a fellow named Thomas Ross,
Starting point is 00:07:42 a 37-year-old maggot from Joplin, Missouri. was arraigned in federal court on charges that he, oh, golly, you can't make this stuff up. It's like a Grateful Dead song or something. Driving that train high on cocaine. Casey Jones, you better watch your speed. Don't singing, Roxanne. Damn it, pay attention.
Starting point is 00:08:17 But no, Thomas Ross of Joplin tried to get his own campaign manager to plant some Peruvian marching powder and or some of Nitwit Niro's favorite recreational chemistry of choice. That is, of course, Adderall. in his MAGA rival, the primary rivals, car, and put it in her car, put it in her purse, don't care, just plant it on it for God's sakes.
Starting point is 00:08:56 This was in a primary race for the 161st Missouri House District. Dear God, how many districts do they have in Missouri? Don't worry about it. I don't know. That must be, when the Missouri legislature comes into session, and that must look like a whole bunch of monkeys trying to work a math problem with all those maggots. Now he wanted to plant blow and speed on Louise Secker, because he wanted to make sure that he was the maggot candidate for that house seat.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Mm-hmm. Speaking to the local law enforcement authorized, his former campaign manager, Rosses, said that Thomas Ross handed him a glove with a bag of powder and a pill stuffed inside and said, Oh, hey, could you, could you stash this on Louise for me? just put it in her purse, put it in her car, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:10:14 And they sent it off to the state crime lab where they did. Law enforcement did confirm that it was cocaine and adderall. You know, this doesn't sound like one of those situations like way, way back when Richard Pryor was talking about Leon Spinks getting busted for cocaine. You know, Leon Spinks was busted for 50 cents worth of cocaine. Have you ever seen 50 cents worth of cocaine? 50 cents worth of cocaine milk before you get the paper unwrapped. No. And what 37-year-old Thomas Ross thought was, he told his campaign manager,
Starting point is 00:11:05 this would be extreme egg on the face for Louise Secker. Mm-hmm. I guess his campaign manager wasn't quite as compliant or dedicated to victory as Thomas Ross was. No, no. That House District is maggoty as hell. It's right down kind of in the corner where Missouri, butts up against Kansas and Oklahoma Stan. The last election there, the district was won by a fellow name, someone named Lane Roberts.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Could be a guy, could be a girl, could be non-binary, not in the maggot party, no, quit that. But won two-to-one, Republican to Democrat votes. and with him Ross having won the August 4th Missouri primary in that district here's the funsy no Democrat even bothered to sign up to take the ass whipping no no and so Ross is the only one on the ballot and the chairman of the Missouri maggots won Peter Kendon was, oh for God's sakes, drop out of the race. These here allegations are serious and deeply troubling Uncle Jed?
Starting point is 00:12:58 I added the Uncle Jed part. Good times. Good times. Yeah, shucks all. It's just Christian family values. Maga politics, isn't it? It's not like anybody was going to snort on the cocaine, although the question does arise how Thomas Ross managed to find a Coke dealer there down in that far and misbegotten corner of Missouri stand. I mean, did he go up and drive the mean street of Kansas City asking random people on the street?
Starting point is 00:13:53 Hey, anybody know where I can buy some cocaine? Maybe he got the Adderall pill from, I don't know, maybe he's got a kid with ADHD or something, but, well, now, I wonder, I wonder if Ms. Louise might be able to, oh, that's a maggot problem, what do I care? And somewhere, I like to think, there's a Democrat who thought, you know, briefly, thought about running for the post. Nah, I'm just going to get my ass kicked. No sense in throwing good money after bad and throwing money down a rat hole. I wonder if that person's sitting around and going, Son of it!
Starting point is 00:14:42 I could have won. I could have been a contender. I don't know. I don't know. So I thought that was just a fun little starting place for Thorn in the side Thursday. Mm-hmm. Ah, and by the way, it is a toasty 89 degrees here in the fabulous horn studios at the magnificent Kincaid Mansion this afternoon, so things might get a little bit schvitzie, sticky even. Cocaine!
Starting point is 00:15:37 It's running all around 161st Missouri House District. and I have seen some silly things over the course of my years behind this microphone. And we've even talked from time to time, especially when, well, David in Oregon and Billable Rick and I and Steve talking about the joys of law school. and reading those fun cases deep in the chapters of proceron torts. Well, she didn't do this in iambic pentameter, but some of the gone. And maybe the federal judge in this case came to this conclusion, having seen what the maggot Supreme Court, our most puissant dread sovereign Supreme Catholic
Starting point is 00:16:53 Majesties did relative to nitwit Nero's ballroom plans not long back
Starting point is 00:17:01 but Judge Anna C. Reyes who was in fact a Biden
Starting point is 00:17:08 appointee of U.S. District judge there in the D.C. area just through the luck of the
Starting point is 00:17:21 draw was assigned a case brought by plaintiffs against nitwit Nero in regard to his plan because God knows in the midst of everything else we've got going on we really need a championship level golf course in the greater D.C. area in this case East Potomac golf links. Oh my aching back. So New It Nero is an enemy of trees and things that are green and growing as well as wind turbines. Maybe that's why he likes his Scottish courses so much because they're lynx courses and it's not much more than wind and some heather and some grass and some sand and whatnot. But at a hearing earlier today, Judge Reyes appeared to not be particularly serious.
Starting point is 00:18:28 thrilled to be here in the case. And Kyle Cheney, who does legal affairs for Tiger Beat on the Potomac Politico, noted that Judge Reyes
Starting point is 00:18:48 did not seem to be particularly happy. And she's issued some good decisions that were later upended by the Maggot Supreme Court, but her reasoning has seemed to be sound. But the plaintiffs in this case wanted to stop a bunch of wholesale clear-cutting.
Starting point is 00:19:14 And Judge Reyes said, according to Kyle Cheney, she made clear she's not parks and wreck because, well, she's a, I'm sure she's a constitutional, not an original, but a strict constructionist. She said she also doesn't want to police the administration's management of trees. at the golf course, saying, quote, quote, I am not the Lorax.
Starting point is 00:19:48 I do not speak for the trees. Meanwhile, the petty foggers from the DOJ who showed up said, oh, well, you're wondering, um, uh, them trees was all dead, or they was invasive, or they was hazardous. Along the way, she also made reference to, uh, Judge Reyes did. Uh, she made reference to some lyrics from,
Starting point is 00:20:16 Alanis Morissette mentioned a random caller demanding her removal from the bench. My God, maybe she's getting up and watching C-SPAN Washington Journal along with Todd and Brother Bishop Steve
Starting point is 00:20:36 all around great guy down in Georgia stand. She made reference to George Washington, cutting down a cherry tree. but the maggots are making it hard for her to not be the Lorax and frankly I wish we had some judges who were feeling a little bit more lauraxy because if she doesn't speak for the trees well who the fuck will I mean Earth Justice would that's that's one of those non-profits that I really really do love and respect their motto because the earth needs a good lawyer
Starting point is 00:21:27 and being a Trump joint shits going sideways in a hurry there's at East Potomac links there's a subsidence of land and water problems
Starting point is 00:21:47 and it's just another ginormous Donald Trump bona fide real life no kidding genuine screw up because that's what Donald Trumpses does best. And all of her odd references came in the first 90 seconds of her remarks, according to Kyle Cheney.
Starting point is 00:22:21 Jesus. Maybe it feels like a fool's errand to her because she could make a perfectly well-reasoned ruling only to see Clarence pubes on the Coke can Fappy Thomas and the entirely utterly, totally, completely, criminally corrupt, Sammy bad breath, along with, you know, frat boy Neil and beer boof and blah-bub-brat and his law clerk squee and quiff and the handmaid and old balls and strikes. Jump in to say, no-uh, Donald Trump's our orange daddy,
Starting point is 00:23:04 and he gets to do whatever he wants to. Yeah. Yeah. We got a lot of thorns for this here. Thorn in the side Thursday. Oh, there's where the Arkansas confusion came from. I knew there was an Arkansas story. Arkansas?
Starting point is 00:23:31 Yeah. Missouri was blowing speed. Arkansas is a different thing altogether. A former member of the Arkansas House of Representing is, well, apparently he's decided to make Max Miller look like a real good guy. Trigger warning. Content warning. Now, with no doubt whatsoever, Austin McCollum is very likely a good God-fear and upstanding Bible-believing Christ-centered,
Starting point is 00:24:20 evil, evangelical, gun-demand-mentalist, ammo, sexual Christian maggot. and therefore he's facing three felony charges those three felony charges for the 35-year-old remember young Mr. Ross there in Missouri was 37 Austin here is 35 maybe he's just hit that midlife crisis or something No, I don't think it's a midlife crisis. I think he's probably just a typical maggot asshole who hates women just like his orange daddy.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Those three felonies are second-degree domestic battery, first-degree false imprisonment, and aggravated assault on a family or household member. He was arrested the 1st of August. The story's just now percolating into the national consciousness. Here's the thing, though, and I don't understand how these things play out the way they do. Three felonies that include, among other things, telling his wife to kill herself, saying that he would go and grab a firearm when she said she was feeling suicidal. and this did happen in Benton County Circuit Court there in Arkansas.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Reagan Ashley McCollum, 34, said she had been struggling with suicidal ideation. And she at one point said, I think our children would be better off without me. He said, well, do it! I'll get the gun! he's the nominee for Benton County Judge in Arkansas that's the top elected official there in any given Arkinstanian County
Starting point is 00:26:45 he's got no opponent in November neither and Jesus this story he of course ran on his family values putting out a photograph of him with his good godfearing etc wife and and they're two youngans
Starting point is 00:27:10 pretty well off live in a farmhouse-style McMansion of about $900,000 in value there in Bentonville with the split-up McCollum has moved into a $1.5 million McMansion also there in Bentonville. On August the 25th, Benton County Circuit Judge Zolley Duncan entered a two-year protective order
Starting point is 00:27:43 against McCollum and because of what he allegedly did his wife said we returned home from a wedding and Austin got mad and started throwing things at me I guess he got shit-faced at the wedding and
Starting point is 00:28:04 he went on to trap his wife in their bedroom beat her with a wire hanger threw her onto the bed put both knees onto her back and then slammed a door over and over on her hand while she was trying to get away. He drove his knee into the back of her neck and just about choked her out.
Starting point is 00:28:32 In her petition she said there was blood everywhere and I couldn't see. He grabbed my hair and slammed my head to the ground multiple times. He only quit beating her when he said, All right, get up and go clean up the blood. and that's when she ran away and called 911. The deputies who showed up, of course, this is predictable, said, he appeared to be intoxicated, had blood all over his arms and legs and injuries to his knuckles.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Really? Injuries to his knuckles. He resigned his house district eight seat on August the 5th, and there will be a special election to fill. the remainder of his term, but he's apparently still on the ballot for county judge. But of course,
Starting point is 00:29:38 Arkansas Governor Jethrine Bodein as well as the Speaker of the House, Brian Evans, said you gotta resign, which he did. You gotta get a county judge race, which he hasn't yet. And here's the punchline.
Starting point is 00:29:59 I mean, that's a, Roxanne, do better. With all of that foregoing, when the deputies came and arrested this good Christian man, they let him spend the night in the joint and turned him loose on $10,000 bond. Damn near killed her, $10,000 bond. And probably put the property up, you know, as, as, as, collateral for his promise to appear. Well, Your Honor, I've entered into a program to address my problems with alcohol. Hopefully, hopefully that, I'm making this up, by the way.
Starting point is 00:31:05 But between a little bit of time in the Grippy Sock Hotel and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, maybe I won't beat the hell out of my wife no more. They have a divorce pending. He countersued her for divorce. Sometimes you get the idea that the churches are failing, the people that they're supposed to be pastoring God. And there's some news coming out of the Death Star, and by that I mean, the tower there at Fox News TV Radio Rwanda,
Starting point is 00:32:13 Kind of some shocking news. After 12 and a half years with the network, with nothing in the way of explanation or fanfare, and not even queuing up time to say goodbye by what, Sandra Brightman and Andre O'Cailly. No. Fox has. handed an apple in a road map to Maria Bartaromo.
Starting point is 00:32:54 That happened today. Here's the heartfelt and touching note of goodbye that Fox released. Effective today. Now let's do it in our Rupy and Lackland voice, shall we? Effective today, Maria Betty Romo is no longer with folks' news media. We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 and a half years and wish her all the best on her next chapter. That's it.
Starting point is 00:33:25 Goodbye now. Don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you. You got to wonder what she done. So, hmm. Goodbye. Goodbye, Maria. I'm sure some, some near-do-well Maggot 5-0-1 C.
Starting point is 00:33:57 3 Gryft will be just waiting for you and happy to have you on board. Hey, maybe you can go and get hired at Onan, the network that spills its news on the ground, or maybe news muck. Or maybe you can go to work for the man who looks like rancid hot dog water smells. You know, Stevie 3 shirts over at Real America's voice. You got the pipes for it. You got to wonder. Was it the dead boy or the live girl with Maria?
Starting point is 00:34:48 Live by the Rupert? Dau by the Rupert. Right over at the Atlantic, Tom Nichols said, Not exactly an emotional farewell. No, that's an almost Vulcan farewell, isn't it? There's our obligatory Star Trek reference. Oh, and Ralphs has added another $25 to the, to the matching money for Bruce and Karen's Memorial Challenge.
Starting point is 00:35:18 Thank you, Ralph. Thank you very kindly. I guess it's vacation time again. Next week, Canckel's Caligula is taking wing because the Irish Open golf tournament is being held at Dunbeg, which is a golf property that he owns and has ruined. That's in County Clare on the Emerald Isle. Well, he'll be there on the 12th and the 13th of September.
Starting point is 00:36:20 I'm sure there will be plenty of eager camera shutterbugs there. get pictures of him and Natalie Harpy, the diaper nanny. He calls it, Trump International Gufflings, Ireland. So I guess he leaves on the 12th. But that, of course, means that, well, we already know he's not going to be at ground zero on set. September the 11th for the 25th, 25th year commemoration of those attacks by our dear, dear, dear friends and partners in peace, the Saudis. And he wanted to stand up and bark and grunt and hoot and bray and speechify and pontificate, politicians don't yet to do that at the 9-11 commemoration,
Starting point is 00:37:47 especially not a quarter-century mark. And so he said, I just go to the Pentagon instead. My whiskey peel will let me talk. Yeah. Of course, this isn't a vacation. He'll say, oh, it's work. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:16 It's definitely work. And the funny thing is he's busy before September 11th, too, because he has to be in Dallas. which brings to mind the words of Jimmy Buffett from the A1A album, if you ever get the chance to go to Dallas, take it from me, pass it by. But nitwit Nero is going to be there, him and Natalie Harpy, the diaper nanny, because he called for a midterm Republican convention, September 9th and 10th. It's a dumb idea.
Starting point is 00:38:59 but hey every maggot who wants to be within the magatosphere has to be there which means that's two days that those stupid repacious fascists aren't out
Starting point is 00:39:15 on the campaign trail I expect that that well let's see the ninth and the tenth that would be what just looking at the calendar real quick that would be Thursday and Friday of next week, which tells me that there should be some real zany clips for us to use those couple of days
Starting point is 00:39:57 because they'll say any number of things to try to please their orange daddy. Thanks for sharing, Ralphs. and thank you for adding $25 to the desperately needed $150, well, no, the response money. $150 brings back more than $2 to 1 now. So thank you, Ralphs, and thank you, if anybody will pretty please, jump in and help us knock this $25 down. It's the first of the month.
Starting point is 00:40:40 It's, ah, it's brutal. Not a Star Trek goodbye, says Lee. While a Vulcan validation could be live long and prosper, I believe the Klingon style is more appropriate for a fox firing. Butah, today is a good day to die. Signed Lee at Memory Alpha. Right, you are. Maria, today is a good day to die.
Starting point is 00:41:09 You're fired. I like that a lot, as a matter of fact. Yeah, that's fun. that story go. Dag on it. Yeah, thank you, Ralph. September 11th is a week from tomorrow. I saw a headline saying that
Starting point is 00:42:02 Nitwit Niro is blowing through his $400 million MAGA Inc. pack money. That's going to come as a real blow to John Thune there, who was hoping he'd get a big chunk of it to run ads in TakeSass in behalf
Starting point is 00:42:22 of the philandering crook and cover-up artist for a pedophile. I'm talking to, of course, Ken Paxton. Yeah. Oh, and I mentioned Fox. Earlier today, she didn't even merit an appearance on real Fox.
Starting point is 00:42:50 This was instead Fox business, which I don't think anybody watches it except for maybe the people who pull clips off of it. They trotted out Brookie Rollins. She of the, an American can eat good on $3 a day, a piece of chicken, a couple of pieces of broccoli,
Starting point is 00:43:11 and a snack. Yeah. They hauled her out to yell that beef prices are on the downturn, and everything's going to be okay. Wow, this is dumb. Very focused also in making sure that food. is affordable. And we've got really good news on that as well. You know, for the, I think, the lowest price in five years, the numbers we got in yesterday, chicken breast, pork, berries, butter, cheese,
Starting point is 00:43:43 et cetera, is all down to five-year lows. And even beef is coming down. We had about a 2% drop a couple of weeks ago, and that's the biggest drop in five years in beef. So all in all, really... Yeah, beef prices came down when people stopped buying beef, because, they were afraid they were going to get served up some mystery meat. Are you ready for your mystery meat? No, that was mystery date. Yeah. I got a nerd.
Starting point is 00:44:17 Never mind. Yeah, all those prices of things that aren't safe to eat now. Well, yeah, those prices are coming down, brookie. Uh-huh. Jesus. This is another fun one To go with the farm crisis Yeah
Starting point is 00:44:55 Those poor farmers They had no idea that they were going to Take it in the shorts again After having taken it in the shorts With the first Trump maladministration Poor babies Officially fucked around We have officially found the fuck out now, guys
Starting point is 00:45:15 I am on the verge of bankruptcy I am a Republican I voted for this administration, but my patience is running thin. And it's just a big shot in the gut, right? Here we are doing exactly what we're supposed to. The same program that we got our grant through is no longer funded, and we've just been left to the winds. I don't have anything to say to Donald Trump. Us helping Argentina and importing beef from Argentina, it's not to consumers.
Starting point is 00:45:42 We got our, I've stolen from us, and nobody gives a day. Be patient. The farmer is going to be better than ever. well you better hurry up it's all gone everything is gone I never thought I was going to lose this much money this
Starting point is 00:46:02 this fast I like the first guy well we fucked around and we found out on the other hand I kind of like this guy he's somebody he's a farmer who actually had
Starting point is 00:46:30 the sense not to vote for nitwit Nero and well he's got a message for his maga pals in in Maga land who are suffering now. Society when if I voted for someone now all of a sudden they do something I don't like now all of a sudden it's my fault because I voted for them. So just... I need some of you farmers together around because watching y'all discover that your customers are also human beings with values has been fucking fascinating.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Post after post today, I've seen nothing other than I don't understand why who I voted for matters. I'm just over here trying to sell beef. Listen, sweetheart, you voted with your values, and now they're shopping with theirs. That's it. That's the mystery. And when somebody asks you, are you blue dot in your immediate response is, I don't discuss politics? Well, that was not the fucking question, because here's what I think some of you genuinely do not understand. For you, apparently, politics was something that you did for 20 minutes in a voting booth,
Starting point is 00:47:28 and then went back to feeding cattle. Everybody else, the consequences of what you voted for followed them home. People lost jobs. Families got ripped apart by immigration enforcement. Women watched their reproductive rights fucking disappear. LGBTQ plus people watch politicians debate whether their families and identities deserve legal protection. People watch federal programs get cut. Institutions got gutted.
Starting point is 00:47:49 Tariffs shake businesses and raised costs. And communities got treated like collateral fucking damage. And you're standing there in a pile of cow shit with a rib-eye going, but what does that have anything to do with my beef? You. You are what it has to do with your beef. Everybody on this side is saying that your cow voted for Trump. We know the cow was innocent. Frankly, at this point, that cow may have exercised better judgment. People are deciding that they don't want their money going into the pocket of somebody who helped put the people hurting them into power.
Starting point is 00:48:18 It's just capitalism, baby. And the wildest part is farmers already lived through this lesson once. Did you not learn the first time? Trump launched a trade war in his first term. Ritalatory tariffs hammered American agriculture exports. and the federal government responded, with giving you tens of billions of dollars in aid. You all already touched the stove.
Starting point is 00:48:35 The stove burned the shit out of you. The government literally had to come over with a bag of money and say, sorry, sorry about the stove. And then some of you apparently looked at that scar and said, you know what, I bet that stove has changed. You waddled over in your shit kickers and touched the motherfucker again. So when somebody asked if you're blue dot before buying your beef, stop acting like you stumbled upon some incomprehensible new economic theory.
Starting point is 00:48:56 You made a political choice based on what mattered to you. And now we are going to make an economic choice based on what matters to us. The difference is you apparently thought that your vote only affected everybody else's life. Everybody else's choices weren't supposed to affect yours. Well, welcome to the free market. Turns out that invisible hand can give you the middle finger too. Well, I think I'm going to give him a ramelama ding dong. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Somebody needs to be maybe having that talk with a lot of the... Standing there in your shit kickers and a pile of cow shit with a rib eye in your hand. Please don't talk. No, I can't afford a steak, but if I ever can afford a ribby again, I don't want to be thinking about that, buddy. Pretty please? Yeah. But speaking of tearing families apart in that clip,
Starting point is 00:49:57 Miles Taylor earlier today in an article for the defiance substack noted something that the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel, those are the same clowns who said that anybody who ever asked Nitwit Nero what time it was does anybody really know what time it is? No. 25 or 6 to 4. well they they now
Starting point is 00:50:36 enjoy executive privilege for that conversation but the Office of Legal Counsel has published an opinion that says that states have to snitch
Starting point is 00:50:56 on immigrants if they want to have federal money for TANF or SSI Temporary assistance for needy families, supplemental security income, and have to report any suspected undocumented immigrant. We're not talking about a criminal. We're just talking about
Starting point is 00:51:24 somebody who's here undocumented, and otherwise the NITWitt Nero administration will cut off TANF and SSI funds to that state. Now, the pathetic part of that is it probably won't affect most maggot states because they're eagerly collaborative. with the Vichy, I mean, Trump government. But in blue states that try to protect human rights, at least to some degree, this means starving kids to punish states, Miles Taylor in the defiant substact, saying, the families receiving these benefits are mostly American citizens,
Starting point is 00:52:12 and the majority of TANF recipients are children. So the administration is not threatening to cut off benefits to people here illegally. It can't because they don't. receive any. Instead, they're literally threatening to take food away from American children and rent money away from their parents, disabled veterans, and elderly widows in any state whose governor refuses to become an ice goon informant. Once again, of course, the cruelty is the point. We're talking about $16.4 billion per year, and there's a gun to the head of every governor in America and the hostages are hungry children. Taylor is saying that
Starting point is 00:53:07 Tangerine Tiberius is going to starve poor kids. The states don't help with mass deportation. The sadism is breathtaking and it's also completely on brand. We are at the end of the first hour of the program and a lot of this is the rest of the program is unfortunately quite similar. Let's see. Some maggot court will say that it's okay to starve children. On the other hand, a U.S. District Judge in D.C. has ruled that it's okay to force-feed a prisoner
Starting point is 00:54:32 and in this case it's the Afghan man who murdered one national guardsman and maimed and wounded another Ramanullah Lakanawal has been on a hunger strike at his court appearances he's shown up in a wheelchair gaunt and starving and U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta of the D.C. district
Starting point is 00:55:13 said, sure, go ahead. Force feeding. Quote, to preserve defendant Ramanola Lockwant's life, or to prevent a foreseeable deterioration in his condition, that if not treated is likely to lead to death, replacement, maintenance, and care, defendants feeding, tube when medically necessary in lab work relating to the administration of nutrition. Our friends who are in nursing in the Horn Family Community Congregation will recognize that this is, what they're talking about here is an NG tube, nasogastric tube,
Starting point is 00:56:00 goes in through the nose and down the asycephabstic tube, goes in through the nose, and down the esophagus. Not pleasant. But they don't want this federal judge, who's not a bad federal judge, doesn't want somebody starving to death on their watch. Judge Meta said that an NG tube or intravenous feeding is okay
Starting point is 00:56:32 or feeding through an already estabell. tube connected to his stomach. The only thing the judge didn't let the maggots in charge of this shithole do is perform surgery on him to install a feeding tube
Starting point is 00:56:52 into his stomach. Let's remember that Robinula Lock and Wall came to the United States not a wild-eyed radical, but a trained killer.
Starting point is 00:57:15 trained by the forces, the military forces of the United States of America to do our dirty work while we were in Afghanistan. Nasty stuff. But he collaborated with us, and the determination was made that he deserved to not be murdered by the Taliban for having associated himself with the United States military. And he came over here, and eventually murdered a member of the West Virginia National Guard,
Starting point is 00:57:58 specialist Sarah Bextram, and tried to murder Air Force Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe. He's facing 17 charges. He's pleaded not guilty. And one gets the idea that he would very much rather just die. And of course, Afghan nationals who did collaborate with us have also been removed from this country. People who didn't shoot members of the West Virginia National Guard like Lockenwall did. So it's a federal crime.
Starting point is 00:58:51 I'm guessing it carries the death penalty. And the irony, well, I can't help to be struck by it. Judge Meta, a Barack Obama appointee, has previously turned down maggot requests for non-consensual nutrition. But now Judge Meta says, yeah, give him an NG tube, because we might have to execute him. And we want to keep him alive until we decide to crucify him horizontally. Of course, I have no faith in this gang of punks and thugs in the prison system. I'm sure they'll try to figure out a way to get some bacon grease into his NG tube. Because they think that's real funny-like.
Starting point is 01:00:02 So I guess they probably already shoved the tube up his nose and down into his gut, and the order stays in effect until October the 28th. Well, if you're Lackenwall's lawyer, how do you appeal that? How do you say, Your Honor? My client is charged with doing heinous things, and he would rather die than be horizontally crucified. He'd rather starve to death. And no court's going to say, well, okay, yeah, let him get in touch with his inner Bobby Sands, because it's, well, it's bad PR, isn't it?
Starting point is 01:00:49 and of course it would not have happened it absolutely would not have happened had nitwit Nero not insisted on the National Guard being on the streets picking up trash and raking leaves and whatnot in D.C. and had of course
Starting point is 01:01:17 pill-pushing Patty Morrissey the Trenton Troll Faddy Patty not leapt at the opportunity to send West Virginia to DC on a fool's errand. Yeah. No, Ralphs, I didn't.
Starting point is 01:01:49 What? Did you know that Donnie's making a new TV show? Oh. What is it? Who wants to change Donnie's deity? Nah, couldn't be that. He's got Natalie Harpy for that. Gross.
Starting point is 01:02:13 Just gross. And we have this out of Taliban. Turns out that whatever it is we're doing over in the Iran such as isn't a war. I guess that's why Nick Wittnero's been calling it, it's an excursion because he heard incursion and his sick, twisted, dying brain heard excursion. you know, like when I go to Ireland to watch a golf tournament. Jesus.
Starting point is 01:03:10 This is the story of a widow. A woman named Libby Klinner. She was married to Air Force Major John Alex Klinner. Major Klinner was involved in a crash in Iraq that killed him. And Mrs. Klinner cannot get. get the benefits to which she is entitled as a war widow. She went to Instagram to post about it this past Saturday. Major Clinter had just been promoted.
Starting point is 01:04:06 He was 33 years old and had made Major. And he had been deployed for less than a week. He was aboard a refueling aircraft, so when that fucker crashed, that had to be horrible. He left behind a pair of seven. seven-month-old twins and a two-year-old little boy and a wife who doesn't quite know what she's going to do now. But the refueler, the tanker plane, was in what was nominally considered friendly airspace, Mrs. Clinner noting, so not only was my husband killed in a war he never wanted to participate in, but now the benefits were left with are being dictated by semantics and public perception.
Starting point is 01:05:00 she put up a picture of herself holding their babies. Yeah, she doesn't get war widow pay because her hubby wasn't in a war. She went on and said no one joins the military because they want to go to war. Service members don't enjoy being deployed. They chose to defend their country knowing they could be sent to war, but hoping they won't be. They also joined with the assumption that a war would be the last
Starting point is 01:05:38 resort, which was not the case in Iran. So, actually, this woman gets a lot of sympathy from me. She knows what time it is, and she knows who really killed her husband. And it's not somebody pushing the button on a missile.
Starting point is 01:06:03 No. It wasn't even friendly fire. It was just a crash. And the people who killed her husband and the rest of that crew, well, their names are whiskey Pete Kegbreath and Donald Trump and every other
Starting point is 01:06:21 and oh and let's not forget Psycho Bibi Netanyahu who by the way according to the prediction markets has a 28% chance of still being Prime Minister after the October elections in Israel his opponent
Starting point is 01:06:39 is apparently at 48% Ms. Clinter went on and said her casualty assistance officer Can you imagine having that for your MOS? Told her that, well, there are additional benefits that can't be given because the Iran conflict has not been declared a war. The missing benefits are combat pay related and were missing from his final paycheck. Support the troops, y'all!
Starting point is 01:07:23 Jesus. Well, then on Tuesday she posted an update, Mrs. Clinner did, and thanked people for their kind responses to her post and said that apparently some alarm bells rang at Air Force Central and that she got, she was contacted by the director of mortuary affairs and said, we are initiating an audit of benefits to ensure we receive all the, to ensure that we receive all that we're entitled to. An Air Force spokes creep, however, who did not resign their commission when NITWIT
Starting point is 01:08:16 started this evil war, said that, officials quote, well, they spoke with Mrs. Clinter, quote, to ensure she is receiving all eligible benefits she and her family are entitled to, as well as ensure all her questions are fully addressed. We understand this matter has been difficult for Ms. Clinter and her family, and we are committed to addressing her concerns with care and respect. We remain committed to providing clear information and continued support to Ms. Clenner, as well as the families of the airmen who died in the KC-135 crash.
Starting point is 01:08:58 Who-ah! We're not going to give them another goddamn dime, hu-ah. I hope she bulldogs those bastards to the ends of the earth. And speaking of the military, this is a little weird. You may recall a few weeks ago we were talking about how the DUI hire, Whiskey Pete Kegbreath, can't be bothered much to well actually be secretary
Starting point is 01:09:43 of the Department of Defense but instead is obsessed with how erect military penises get isn't that just gross to talk about ew
Starting point is 01:09:58 but apparently this is a bit of a problem whiskey pee wants a high tea military and so after two months of putting together instructions for how to create this hot tea military
Starting point is 01:10:27 they were then posted online and they well they had a kind of a a Liz trust moment because they didn't outlast ahead of lettuce with or without the cyclosphora No
Starting point is 01:10:56 yesterday the Defense Department published clinical guidelines to screen members of the military for testosterone deficiencies and by today it was gone
Starting point is 01:11:17 I don't know if anybody caught a screenshot but speaking to Reuters some nameless faceless functionary at the Pentagon says well these were temporarily rescinded to allow for updates no idea of what it is they want to update
Starting point is 01:11:39 maybe it's the fact that whiskey Pete wants to give testosterone injections to women in the military too Pete I know you're drunk as shit but did you think this one through buddy
Starting point is 01:11:55 do you really want you really want the women in the military sprouting and sprouting facial hair and having their voices deeping, probably deeper than yours, Whiskey Pete. Because those things happen. And, of course, the Pentagon itself is, we don't know when the guidelines are going to go back up.
Starting point is 01:12:28 I don't really know much of anything these days. Can't get Whiskey Pete sober long enough. added I made that part up apparently they did after saying that they wanted to provide the testosterone to women they did kind of do an about face on that
Starting point is 01:12:57 saying instead that they would be tested women in the military for fatigue oh I do believe I have to lie back on the fainting couch bullshit and they'd also
Starting point is 01:13:19 be tested for menstrual disruption and other signs of hormonal dysregulation or relative energy deficiency in sport that's so he can say that the girlies aren't strong enough to be in the military
Starting point is 01:13:41 because that's what his weirdo preacher from Idaho or where the fuck ever he comes from believes need to be home pregnant and barefoot and getting getting their man a samich in a beer. And this paragraph is just a lulu. Testosterone treatment for women would be considered only in a narrow circumstance
Starting point is 01:14:11 for postmenopausal women experiencing an unusually low level of sexual desire. What does a woman's sexual desire have to do with her service in the military? Women's health is important to me, but that sounds... Well, you know, if they ain't got no sexual desire, can't be a satisfying the men in the military neither. I suspect this is all a problem of their own making, of course. And the guidance was probably taken down because, well, given those fragile, insecure male egos,
Starting point is 01:15:03 that testosterone's gender affirming care, and we can't we only know vendor for him in the military god damn it i tell you oh no that's for that because we're into training and not trannies that's what whiskey pete's been barking about so if you add one and one and carry the 12 that probably explains the situation but the thing is given a low-tie soldier testosterone doesn't do anything for resilience No. And it can also cause red blood cell counts to spike. That can lead to clotting disorders.
Starting point is 01:16:07 It can also make a man infertile and fuck up his sleep and his blood pressure and his mood. And bless her heart, when Whiskey Pete first went public with his little plan, Primal of Giapal of Washington said This, by the way, is gender-affirming care. Which, remember, we can't have in the military. Because all those trans guys were out there outperforming their cis-male counterparts. That was in the Air Force study. That had to be a little bit humiliating.
Starting point is 01:17:00 I would be remiss, of course, if I didn't note that this is a conversation radio program. And if you'd like to call in, if there's something on your mind, feel free to use the stress line. 844-843-66-8-44-8-4-4-4-the-horn. Got a note from Flavio, nasogastric tube. When I was a kid of two or three, I swallowed something. I shouldn't have some ink or cleaning product. I can't recall. And I was rushed to the hospital and had one of those plunge down my nose and gullet to have my stomach flushed out irrigated.
Starting point is 01:17:44 My parents had a fright, and I remember it being distinctly unpleasant. Oh, we had something similar like that with Berg back when he was little. My father took a handful of medications every morning. he was post quadruple bypass, so he had all the drugs you have to take after that. And one of those was a curious shade of blue. And I just happened to glance over at Ferg, who, to be fair, got into everything. And, well, damn if his tongue wasn't that very same color of blue. And we looked through, and it was a hundred thousand.
Starting point is 01:18:34 heart medication. It could have, well, it could have proved fatal to a little three-year-old fellow, about that age, two, three. And so off we rushed to the emergency room, where I explained things to the personnel there. And, well, they brought him back to a room. They didn't use an NG tube for the, to flush that, Flavie. They wanted to make him yak. There went dinner in the Central Daylight Times Zone. So they gave him activated charcoal to drink. It did not take long before that worked.
Starting point is 01:19:26 And then, of course, there's a happy ending. Sorting through that sort of result. It can be called a happy ending. Turned out the pill was the same color as a packet of... Nutra sweet. Yeah, we made him throw up everything but his toenails because he had eaten without really opening the package, a packet of Nutra sweet. Ah, memories, memories, memories. And yeah, at the halfway point of the program, we are for the second program in a row, a goose egg.
Starting point is 01:20:20 and that makes things like keeping this program on the air difficult. Fingers crossed, if we can knock down 150 bucks, it all gets doubled plus a bit more, courtesy of Routts and the sponsor of our first of the month Memorial Challenge, and gets us down to $110 more than a week behind for funding. So, you know, this is a chance to double your money. And I know everything's tough right now. So tough.
Starting point is 01:21:12 I mean, I walked out of Kroger's the other day with a carton of milk, jug a half and half, some kitty litter, and one other little thing. 50 bucks i think i told david about that last one thing a four into five one time yeah that's basically 12 dollars per item and i don't know if you notice but back when i played that clip from brookie rollins she said making food more affordable well she's not careful she'll get she'll get as fired as maria barterromo affordability is a made-up word it's totally a made-up word they never use I used it until I got into office. Ah, Jesus.
Starting point is 01:22:20 This is an interesting story. You don't hear this just every day. An ice goon has been indicted. Really? By the Justice Department and everything. Christian Castro has been indicted for making false statements about a shooting in January. and, well, the problem is
Starting point is 01:23:01 the indictment's still under seal because, well, Christian Castro has to be arrested. And for all we know, little Mark Wayne Mullen, the Oklahoma Tard Chaser, well, he was part of Operation Metro Surge, and then after he gave him, his false statements he went on the lamb.
Starting point is 01:23:44 He's charged also, are accused of shooting and wounding Julio Cesar Sosa Salis, an undocumented Venezuelan National on the 14th of June of this year. Jesus. Here's the funny thing. It ain't funny.
Starting point is 01:24:11 Nitwit Niro's goons rushed to defend Christian Castro, but in the news account of the indictment, the New York Times, the Times writes, but in contrast to the administration's position in other shootings, federal officials publicly distanced themselves from Mr. Castro in the weeks that followed. Criminal charges against Mr. Sosa-Selis and another man were dropped. Mr. Castro was suspended and video footage emerged.
Starting point is 01:24:50 that contradicted key aspects of the initial federal account. In other words, the video made liars of them. In Hennepin County, Minnesota, prosecutors charged Castro with second-degree assault in May. That month, he was arrested for about three months, and Texas Governor Greg Asbot refused to sign off his extradition. That led Minnesota to sue Abbott in federal court. The federal court then sided with Abbott. Abbott turned loose this homicidal maniac, and so he is on the loose, and Texas will not lift a finger to find him. And hence the federal grand jury indictment
Starting point is 01:26:04 of making false statements, not trying to murder another human being. There's a significant distinction. And Ralph says, come on, people. Thank you. Kayla and Tegan are just downright depressed at this point. And I mentioned the story of Mrs. Clinner because of something that the JD Egg did recently, said recently. Judy Vance.
Starting point is 01:27:00 at the microphone, decided to unburden himself of his thoughts about what's going on in this God-forsaken, what, quagmire with Iran. Yeah, earlier today, a reporter in D.C. asked the J.D. Ag, whether the war that's now more than six months old might, be over by the time voters go to the polls. The answer was, well, I wonder if Mrs. Clenner has seen this. Given this administration has put timelines out there before, what you just said about no negotiations happening with Iran, will this war be over by the time of the midterm elections? Well, Caitlin, again, I don't, I wouldn't call it a war. Right now, there is no active shooting. I recognize there have been places where this is flared up. major combat operations
Starting point is 01:28:28 again major combat operations lasted for about six weeks it's not a war people are dying uh mrs clenner is a widow and mothered a pair of twins and a two year old boy but it's not really a war 18 people are dead but it's
Starting point is 01:28:46 not really a war uh when when he heard about these remarks Jim McGovern of Massachusetts that said, your administration just killed a six-year-old boy and at least four other people at a family wedding in Iran. Sounds like war to me, because that's a thing we did. We're really good. From Afghanistan to Iraq to Iran, we're really good at bombing the be Jesus out of a wedding
Starting point is 01:29:21 because we think it's something dangerous. Maybe it's the music. We are so culturally illiterate relative to Muslim countries Asian countries generally and it's just been a shitty day for members of the maggot administration
Starting point is 01:29:52 not the least of whom is well Howard Nutt The Commerce Secretary, who himself was asked about the not a war. This happened on CNBC. Jesus, can't, well, nutlick's going to nutlick. The growth rate and the reduction in the deficit will not only stabilize the bond market,
Starting point is 01:30:40 will bring rates down. I think the way the president is playing, Iran, right? There's not. There haven't been American deaths. It's really just an economic chokeout, which the administration... Did you catch that? You haven't been any deaths. It is now executing more broadly, and I think it'll be very effective. So I'm very optimistic that the bond market will treat us very well. It may take over the next couple of months, but you're going to see rates stabilized. You're going to... Oh, well, as long as the bond market rate stabilized, everything's good. Nobody's dead. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 01:31:25 Well, even Nitwit Niro had to get into the act, triping on tripe social, which means that Natalie Harpy, the diaper nanny, typed it for him. The Secretary Nutlick had Venezuela on his mind when he said nobody was killed. 18 people were killed in Iran. This guy, I mean, look, they're all so, at the very least, psychopaths, quite possibly, and they're sweating bullets over this stupid war. While at the same time, they're also sitting and listening to Nitwit Niro talking about wanting to use a first strike nuke on Iran. Jesus.
Starting point is 01:32:38 Venezuela on his mind? And you read minds? is that he doesn't have a mind. How can he read someone else's? And of course, you know, he did specifically Nutlick did mention, well, Iran. And of course, those 18 dead may be a much larger number. I wonder if the 18 dead include Major Clinner. Because at one point, those people were taken off the list of killed.
Starting point is 01:33:19 And toward the end of August, just a few days. days ago, well, the Pentagon added 60 more injuries to the wounded count for that one week in August. The combined dead and wounded are now at 776. Well, if we can get another thousand, it'll be 1776. How patriotic? 345 of the casualties are since July the 7th. So, so much for Jimmy Dick Bowman or whatever is on his birth certificate, claiming that nobody's really shooting at each other. God almighty.
Starting point is 01:34:32 Over at USA Today, which isn't exactly a bastion of resistance to fascism, they wrote people in the administration like Nutlick can easily forget or intentionally ignore the men and women who have been killed or wounded. They're all just toys. The military are toys.
Starting point is 01:35:01 And by the way, the USS Abraham Lincoln has limped into port. We talked about that a little bit in yesterday's program at Pataya in Thailand. A pair of sailors were taken into custody by what would
Starting point is 01:35:16 who once been referred to as the shore patrol, they got into a drunken brawl. Sailors do that. No Thai people were harmed, apparently, but they were hauled back aboard the Lincoln where they will spend the rest of the ship's liberty and probably be put to work. And have you seen the photos of the Lincoln?
Starting point is 01:35:48 Good God! There's a reason they're not supposed... Yeah, remember, Nita went near us. I think it should have been out there a lot longer. It looks like a rust bucket. This massive, nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is covered from stem to stern in rust. And God knows what else. I don't know how you get to the barnacles.
Starting point is 01:36:19 Jesus. Yeah, he did, nutlick, did it. Oh, I confused. Venezuela and Iran. Yeah, that's what I did. God. And from Charlie at APS Radio News, if somebody kicks in 20, I'll match another $20 donation.
Starting point is 01:37:06 So we're down to 130, 130, and not a goose egg, $130 to go to finally finish three days into the month, the first of the month challenge. Thank you, Charlie, thank you so much. And expect to see more about this in the coming. days. There is a new documentary coming out about none other
Starting point is 01:37:45 than Leon Scum. I first found out about it when I saw an article in variety after the program last night noting that David Byrne formerly of the talking heads, of course, has had a long successful solo career. He crafted a song called
Starting point is 01:38:24 Let Me Sell You a Dream to go with this new documentary about Leon Scum. Alex Gibney has created the documentary. It is said to be sprawling and it is also said to be scathing and unforgiving. Well, it will have its premiere sometime soon. It shows up in theaters on October the 16th, making David Byrne potentially eligible for his second Oscar nomination.
Starting point is 01:39:16 Alex Gibney says the film is definitive and unvarnished examination of Leon Scum. It's going to show at the 83rd Venice International. film festival on the eight five days from now it'll then go to the Toronto International Film Festival and this this is a beast of a film it's just a little less than four hours long and I was initially skeptical like oh great another puff piece on Leon scum but apparently people are getting nervous about it because well the Hollywood report covering the thing as well. They got to see a preview, and the Hollywood reporter wrote that it's quite telling because Leon Scum, the documentary features the fact that
Starting point is 01:40:28 Leon Scum sent cryptic messages about an anomaly in the matrix and thousands of lasers in space in the immediate hours before victory was declared for nitwit Nero. And the film prominently features Ashley St. Clair, Leon Scum's baby mama. She can be seen in the film saying, he told me before the election he was going to unleash the anomaly in the Matrix. And then shows text exchanges where he says, I have 10,000 lasers in space. Ashley St. Clair says, I mean, I don't know where else he has space lasers.
Starting point is 01:41:18 I mean responding to Gibney saying was he talking about Starlink? But instead of you know, instead of reaching conclusions, Gibney relieves that to the audience saying that the audience has to decide whether anomaly in the Matrix or space lasers are a troll or a confession. It also mentions the fact that now Leon Scum
Starting point is 01:41:57 may have an aggregation of the personal data of millions of Americans. Speaking to the Hollywood reporter, Gibney, said, we don't know what Dodgy Musk did with the data to which they had access. What we do know via my own source, who ran IT at a major federal agency and via the whistleblowers in public accounts, is that the Dogey Boys had super admin status to federal IT system. and said what that means is that the dodgy staffers could slide a copy of the data on all of us to SpaceX as easily as dropping a file into a folder. I keep saying it, the Lord, the work we have to do if we can ever begin to try to write this listing to Starboard ship of state.
Starting point is 01:43:00 God. And, well, Charlie, your challenge has been met. Jude just jumped in and said, dedicated to Joey and Giraffrey, I miss them so very much. Thank you, Jude. I hear from Joey every now and then, and when he decides to crank out of Joey's journal, I'm always here to share it with everybody. Thank you for that. So, yay.
Starting point is 01:43:42 110. 110 to go in our desperate flight to meet the Bruce and Karen's Memorial Challenge. Leon's lasers, Matt in San Francisco. Bitch, please. The fucking GPS in his goddamn cars is shit. Lasers my ass.
Starting point is 01:44:05 For fuck's sake, the fucking GPS. Fix the fucking GPS. GPS, you catamine freak. Well, there is that. But maybe the GPS in his cars is all fucked up because he spent so much time fucking with elections. Ah? See?
Starting point is 01:44:24 All you got to do is rotated in space about 45 degrees, and it looks like something entirely different. But speaking of EVs, I won't be able to do anything about it, but I get a little excited. Ford has announced that next year I can almost bet
Starting point is 01:44:51 that Brother Deacon Asa the Camel Cardinal is already hard at work on an email telling me that it ain't going to work or it's going to be crap or something like that Brother Deacon Asa is a bit of a cynic but Ford aims to come out
Starting point is 01:45:25 with an EV pickup truck with as much room, as much interior cabin space as a Toyota Rav4. They intend to sell, they want to sell 100,000 of them in the first year. And here's the fun part. They're looking at a price point somewhere around 30 grand.
Starting point is 01:46:02 Now, all of that combines to make me want one. I've wanted an EV. for a long time and where I live having it in pickup truck form would be extremely helpful because that means well you can haul stuff so I don't know if it's you know I don't know if $30,000 includes wheels but I'm sure you pay more for things like the who-who heater and the cooter cooler in the seats or leather I think you have to have leather to have the cooter cooler in the hoo-hoo heater what kind of stereo what it'd be it been bound to be electric one but one that you remember we talked what a year ago about the one company that
Starting point is 01:47:15 had come out with a prototypical truck that you could put down a down payment on And it was called the slate, because slate was an anagram of Tesla, and it was going to be an ultra-lightweight component-based EV pickup truck, and curiously enough, it was going to come in around 30 grand. I wonder if Ford picked that up somewhere along the way. It would be interesting to find out. Oh, by the way, Marge. marginal trailer queen, is big mad at the Republican leadership.
Starting point is 01:48:12 I know. What's new? She's mad at Laura Looney. She's disillusioned. Because when she started hollering about the Epstein files, suddenly, knit-wit-wit-Nero didn't love her no more. And she says Laura Looney is a racist, which is hilarious coming from Marge. But she tied into the maggot leadership in the House when House majority whipped Tom Emmer of Minnesota, said, Votes are not expected in the House during the weeks of September 21st and September 28. Marge said, They go back to work for about four days before the midterms.
Starting point is 01:49:19 Pathetic. I regret nothing. Did anyone ask you if you had any regrets, Marge? Because, you know, she's still awful. But then so too are the people that she's dog-walking. She also, of course, says that the maggot party is a wholly owned subsidiary of Israel, Inc. And she's probably not wrong, but it's not limited to the Republican Party. We talked about that.
Starting point is 01:49:57 What is it? TrackAPAC.com. and it'll show you the breathtaking amounts of money that politicians of all stripe have taken, with Democrats taking a whole lot. Hakeem Jeffries comes to mind. Yeah. Well, anyway, testicle toasting Tuckio Rose Carlson went on a maggot, or a Republican conservative, whatever they're calling themselves these days,
Starting point is 01:50:28 podcast with a fellow by the name of Ingetty. That's his last name. Breaking Points is the show. Sagar and Jetty is the co-host. No,
Starting point is 01:50:53 Tuckio Rose hosted Sagar and Jetty on his show. Right. Okay. There we go. And they got to talking about, of all people well uh that florida man mike rogers running against abdul el said and this is one of those moments where you just sort of shake your head and go no really what timeline am i in somebody help me here here we go how can our ambassador you interviewed i don't understand
Starting point is 01:51:33 foreign country over our own i think so who would vote for that who would vote for that also yeah if i were to ask you not me midterms say that if you ask me about the midterms Republican vision what's their vision for the country what are you going to do about my home price nothing what are you going to do about my gas prices increase them tell me yeah short-term pain for long-term gain they said that six months ago it's been six months what are you what are you going to do to create a better future for my child who's ultimately that's all I actually care about I don't even really care about myself
Starting point is 01:52:05 anymore oh you're gonna create you know a day of sin and gambling and marijuana and pornography. It's like that's the marijuana industries, which we're going to elevate. If I voted Republican in the midterm, what are they going to pass? My health care premium went up 30%. Are you going to do anything about that? When did they become liberals? Like everything I dislike about liberals, the, you know, neoconservative foreign policy,
Starting point is 01:52:35 the identity politics at home, the promotion of like the. destruction of people, drugs, pornography, crime. That's the Republican Party. Where's the DSA and all this stuff? Yeah, wow, that's fascinating. I mean, you know, DSA is going through. They're a fascinating group. So, for example, everything you just laid out is probably the position and the same
Starting point is 01:52:58 articulation that the DSA co-chairs, the people in New York City who Fox News likes to bring on and to argue with. The candidates themselves are very interesting. And you can either say this as a saddius. or not, but they are learning, and I do, at the very least, have to admire their ability to shape shift from where they were not that long ago. Abdul al-Saiad, who's running in Michigan against Mike Rogers, who, as you and I know, probably the most pro-intel of neocon.
Starting point is 01:53:24 They couldn't find anybody else to run in Michigan for the United States. Who, by the way, lost already. Why are they running him again? Anybody want to tell me that? Mike Rogers is really, I wouldn't vote for Mike Rogers at gunpoint. Right. And so that's the candidate, the guy, a literal loser who lost when Donald Trump won the state, just to show you how much of headwind he had at his back. There's basically a tool of Israel and the intel agencies.
Starting point is 01:53:49 Right. How would you run someone like that? Exactly. It doesn't even make sense. And twice. So that makes no sense. Well, El Siyadh, look, Al-Saiad is a full-blown DSA. He doesn't call himself DSA.
Starting point is 01:53:58 He's a full-blown leftist. I've known him for quite a long time. This is somebody. You know him personally. Not well. I've interviewed him many times over the years because of my co-host, Crystal. And so I've watched his ideal. evolution who you could easily call as aOC said was quote woke one right woke one where he
Starting point is 01:54:14 said defund the police on a podcast he said all kinds of silly things about football and mask standard leftist chivalets yeah hates mackina island he's for vaccine mandates right classic stuff right i watch his campaign now it's america first the amount of times he says he doesn't even when he talks about israel he says is committing a genocide but ultimately i want to make sure that you don't pay more for health care. I don't want your tax dollars going abroad to fund this barbaric military. He stands in front of a giant American flag.
Starting point is 01:54:45 It's almost Trumpian in terms of a lot of those promises. Exactly. And so you see candidates like that, especially him. He will be the most interesting test case come November. Is he going to win? If I had to bet, which I don't, I would probably bet that he'll win. I would think so. I think so, too. Do you have any idea
Starting point is 01:55:03 not to fix it on poor Mike Rogers, who I know but I mean, there's no one who should be farther from a position of power than Mike Rogers. How did he get the Republican nomination in the Senate? I looked into it. It was relatively uncontested. He had both, he had the most backing of the Michigan GOP, which is, of course, very in touch with their own voters. Mike Rogers? So they just decided to go with.
Starting point is 01:55:27 And again, this is the guy who lost to Slotkin when Donald Trump was able to win the state. And so they can cry about vote rigging and all that. as we want okay whatever but we all know that this is not a strong candidate in a wave year which just happened and they decided to nominate him literally yet again genuinely he was the apac candidate to be clear right he's told apac not to advertise in public forum right and do you see that's where i was saying with el said his ability to go up against apac and to win if you're a ds a person that's got to be one of the most inspiring wins of your entire life that's way bigger than zoran mum don't they got to get rid of the social liberalism, if they get rid of that, because that's where the world is. Most people are not
Starting point is 01:56:09 orthodox free market people. They just want the economy to serve their families. Right. I think that's fair. They want to be treated fairly. I don't think there's anything wrong with that at all. And they're not for radical social change. So, wait a minute. I feel like I just had a hallucination. So testicle toasting Tokyo Rose Carlson and this cigar fellow have declared that Abdul El Sayad
Starting point is 01:56:44 is Trumpian? In what universe? Do they have the attention span of a gnat? Liberals, progressives, Democrats generally, for the most part, have been
Starting point is 01:57:08 on record since the beginning of this century opposing stupid wars of choice, but they can't, they don't even have the common decency to credit so-called leftists. Jesus, I feel, I want to meet these leftists they talk about all the time. They're bet noir. I want to meet these leftists. Just out there singing the Internationale and Yuc, and Yucle.
Starting point is 01:57:41 to the barricades and and workers of the world unite you have nothing to lose but your chains because i i feel i feel like those are those those those that they're about as rare as hen's teeth but i guess it is true that he has pissed off apak mike rogers has telling them not to spend directly on him And here's the fun part. That pissed A-PAC right off. So, hey, if the assholes from A-PAC are having a conemption, if their blood pressure is elevating,
Starting point is 01:58:38 Mike Rogers tell them that again. Stoke the stroke, Mike, by all means. And from Micah, who is in Michigan, after all. Issues. Oh, no, that was a different message. They want credit, Micah says, and I'm waiting for the follow-up message. And I guess the reason that they're saying El-Said will likely win, but you don't count chickens before they're hatched. A Susquehanna polling and research survey that came out, they asked 800 likely Michigan voters between the 11th and 17th of August.
Starting point is 01:59:25 those numbers came back 46% to 39% that's 46% El Say it, 39% Rogers damn that's outside the margin of error
Starting point is 01:59:50 that's a genuine lead assuming the polling methodology was solid Micah says they want people to think that they are unbeatable and that DSA people can't win because they're against them. I don't know who the days are here. Help me, Micah. But even in what is supposed to be a sober-sided discussion, because, you know, Tukio Rose isn't barking or grunting or hooting or anything, they can't resist saying, well, I mean, he said defund the police.
Starting point is 02:00:33 We can't defund the... Well, I have... Yeah. Tuckio Rose, can we say... Pretty please? Mother may I? Can we say abolish ICE? Can we say abolish DHS?
Starting point is 02:00:49 Can we say abolish the CBP? And go back to what we had before, the Immigration and Naturalization Service? Can we just get rid of all these vestigial remains of the spasm we had in the aftermath 25 years ago of 9-11 when a bunch of our Saudi friends decided to attack us because Osama bin Laden said our troops were on sacred Saudi sand and then we took the troops off of sacred Saudi sand
Starting point is 02:01:22 and didn't really get attacked again. I mean, I hope Abdul-Said cruises to victory. I want, well, frankly, it was. would be nice if Massachusetts' own Ed Markey had somebody in there who could help carry the weight on
Starting point is 02:01:49 this has to be a country that works for everybody and who doesn't have a knee-jerk urge to throw marginalized communities under the bus at the first at the first screech of
Starting point is 02:02:06 what? You know, I'm just trying not to talk without it because it's annoying and bothersome. Thank you so much, Charlie, at APS Radio News. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hallelujah, here with about 51 minutes left in the program, Bruce and Karen's Memorial Challenge has been met. Thank you.
Starting point is 02:02:46 Thank you, indeed. Thank you so much. And so now we are down to 1610. at present and I know it's a huge ask but could we knock off another 110 bucks and just be one week behind because that's that's sort of manageable fingers crossed and note coming in from george in course gold EV trucks have you seen how small the bed isn't these trucks also if the truck bed is connected to the cab unibody then it isn't a pickup truck the bed should have its own suspension I don't know what what they're going to do with this. I like trucks that are on frame rails. It saved a three quarter tonne Dodge pickup trucks
Starting point is 02:03:41 saved the lives of two people that I love very much back in, well, what was it, December the 31st, 2011, when one of the local hydrocodone cowboys plowed into the rear end of said pickup truck. The bed sucked up a lot of the impact, bent the frame, totaled the truck, in many ways, changed our lives here. That truck was awful handy to have around.
Starting point is 02:04:23 And, you know, I get your point, George. The thing is, I think things are going to, you know, things are going to change. and whether Ford can make this work or not, I don't know, but if anybody can, Ford should be able to. Now that they've hired back all those engineers that they fired because they thought that AI was going to do all their automotive engineering for them. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:04:56 And thank you, Ralphs. Thank you so much for the challenge, and thanks to our anonymous friend. Thank you. That's one bill that gets paid. here's a anybody who's ever associated with
Starting point is 02:05:24 nitwit narrow will invariably be connected to some kind of sleaze or slimy behavior oh wait there's somebody on the stress line and I don't want to forget let's go there and find out
Starting point is 02:05:40 what's going on and who we got hey welcome to the program well hey Roxanne how you doing I'm good Carl yeah how are you I could be better That's so crazy I just called in And then suddenly
Starting point is 02:05:55 I'm on the air Like no waiting Well I saw it I saw the call come in And I have been guilty In the past of Forgetting there was a call on the line Because I don't have a producer
Starting point is 02:06:08 And I just wanted to make sure That I didn't leave you hanging Oh well you didn't You got me Right away Hey I have COVID How's that? Oh no
Starting point is 02:06:21 Wow. Yeah. I've never had it before. But I was feeling like shit, you know, early, like Monday, I went to the urgent care. And, yeah, they did a test, and she's like, yeah, yeah, COVID. So that's been exciting. I'm like, God, it's so weird to have it.
Starting point is 02:06:47 It's like feels weird. did you experience that? Like it just makes you feel... I've never had it. I've never had it. Oh, okay. Well, yeah, I mean, you know, I thought I was like super lucky for not having it.
Starting point is 02:07:03 And now I do and I understand what it's like. But, you know, I've had every single shot and every, you know, so I don't think I'm going to progress to like, you know, having pneumonia or anything bad. So when I was at urgent care, so the lady there, the MP, just gave me prescriptions for stuff to help with the symptoms. And then I ended up calling my, or just texting my regular doctor, my primary care doctor. And she's like, oh, okay, let's get you on, what you call it? I forget the name now.
Starting point is 02:07:47 You know the name of the drug? Yeah, what is it? Paxloid? Blacksopin. Yeah, yeah, that's it. That's a lot. Yeah, so I started taking that last night. And, you know, but, you know, I was really coughing a lot before.
Starting point is 02:08:08 I mean, I was really coughing. And it started off, like, being, like, sick, like throwing up and stuff. And then it turned into, like, more of, like, a really coughing. bad cold and I was coughing up phlegm and my voice was like really really hoarse but my voice is pretty much back to normal by now it's still a little you sound you sound pretty good rough yeah and so that only lasted for like two days having a really bad voice and you know I've I've gotten through it. I'm glad that I have all the shots.
Starting point is 02:08:50 I know that that's what has made it possible for me to, you know, not get into a bad situation. Right. That's going to mean that the symptoms are probably going to be negligible is probably too strong a word, but they're not going to be what they could have been. Do you have the really terrible headache? You know what? I did. I'm sure.
Starting point is 02:09:17 the heck did, but I don't know. That's gone. Good. Yeah, I forgot about it until you just reminded me. But yes, I had, I was, oh, God, just terrible, terrible headaches. I mean, let's see, it's been like three or four days now. But I get weird, bad taste in my mouth and I think a Starburst right now because I wanted something that sweet.
Starting point is 02:09:53 Oh, my goodness, this is cute. Carl Matt just wrote in and said, Hello, caller, because he hears your voice. Hello, caller, I thought Brenda Vicaro was dead. Apparently, you sound like Brenda Vicaro. Oh, God. Poor Brenda. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:10:18 Well, that's nice. Good to know. maybe I can do some cameos as Brenda Happy birthday Yeah so
Starting point is 02:10:33 yeah I I I I I think of course everything sucks that's going on
Starting point is 02:10:39 in the world right um something in particular though that I was going to tell you I have a I saw my
Starting point is 02:10:49 cardiologist for a follow-up, you know, and he's Jewish, which, you know, is necessary in understanding the story, but he, and I started talking, and, you know, he was complaining about something. I can't remember what it was, but, and I said, oh, yeah, it's because, you know, Trump has taken away health care for so many people and, you know, I started talking about that and about how terrible RFK
Starting point is 02:11:24 Jr. was and everything. And we got on the subject of vaccines and he's like, well, you know, they do give them an awful lot of vaccines children. They really, they really. And I said,
Starting point is 02:11:42 well, you know, they did it when I was a kid too, you know. Well, there are an awful lot of childhood illnesses. I mean, come on. Exactly. And then we started talking about HPV. And, oh, no, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 02:12:04 We started talking about hepatitis B. He got on a little tangent on that. And he's like, I just, you know, he couldn't understand, you know, why they needed it. I said, well, let me tell you, there are a lot of families who do not live in nice neighborhood, and they live in areas where there's a high incidence of drug abuse and et cetera, where, you know, the kid could get hepatitis B, like if their cousin comes up and slobbers all over them, et cetera. And he's like, eh, he's like, you know, the only way that it's transmitting, it is directly from the mother to the baby.
Starting point is 02:12:51 And I don't know if that's true, to be honest. Is that true? I don't know. I don't know. I know with like Hep C, the only way to pass it is through breaks in the skin and blood. Yeah. Like using somebody, if you, nobody does this. But let's say you use the head.
Starting point is 02:13:19 gristled toothbrush of someone who has hepatitis C and you make your guns bleed. Yeah, you're going to get hep C. Yeah. Now, blood-to-blood contact. But, you know, right. Okay. And so, anyway, just the way he talked about it was kind of awkwardly. Well, I mean, look, kids skin knees.
Starting point is 02:13:42 Kids. Exactly. I mean, God. And. Right. Look, I mean, And he was just downplaying it so much. Tetnis vaccines,
Starting point is 02:13:55 you know, you come, you, you, you get cut by something nasty. You go, as you know as an adult, you go get a tetanus vaccine.
Starting point is 02:14:03 Because Lockjaw is a horrible way to die. And it will kill you. You know, and I said, well, you know, they might not get it as a baby, but,
Starting point is 02:14:17 you know, later on they can develop. they can certainly get hepatitis B later on. Yeah, stop it. Stop it to source. I mean, this is, yeah, exactly. I mean, this is a good way
Starting point is 02:14:30 to make sure that when that little baby gets older and they're like 14 years old and let's say they start experimenting with injectable drugs, you know, you never know. This is going to help. This is going to help them. And it was trying to irritate me a little.
Starting point is 02:14:49 and then I started realizing from our conversation that I was dealing with a fucking maggot cardiologist because I was going to say was there any moment that absolutely foreclosed any further inquiry you knew for a fact you were dealing with a maggot oh yeah exactly there was because when we started talking about Gaza
Starting point is 02:15:18 and, you know, I said, and he's like, I said, well, I don't know how we got on it, but I just said, you know, Israel was pretty much committing genocide, and what's the guy, Ben Gavir, he's evil. Yeah, and so is, and so is, I'm going to bellow. And so is, I'm R. Ben-Gavir, Billazil Smotrich, a fucking baby, his defense minister, they're all evil. Yeah, and I started And you know, I told them how that fucking Ben Gavir Was making that commercial
Starting point is 02:15:55 Or whatever the TikTok video Showing the How they're going to Have these people marching into what looks like a concentration camp And then it showed them marching out Have you seen that video? I don't think so Oh my God, you have to see it
Starting point is 02:16:14 I mean it shows like a line of what looks like reminds me totally of Jews during World War II being marched into a fucking gas chamber and you know it's AI
Starting point is 02:16:30 and then it shows them all coming out and they're like really skinny and malnourished and he got so much backlash against that video that he ended up taking it down Ben Gavir
Starting point is 02:16:46 but he was also like relishing in the idea he made a video of him just like rubbing his hands together and all gleeful about the fact that they're going to bring back hanging to you have to catch that one no in fact the one i mean the one i would lean on because it's so easy to do deep fakes and everything these days smotrich and ben guvier are both hardcore believers in the concept of magna yuzzi Israel, greater Israel. And B.B. Netanyahu endorsed it, and that is an Israel that runs from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean to Syria, practically to the Turkish border in the north and Egypt in the south. And that's not speculative. Yeah, that's not speculative, though. They really want to make that happen. Yes. And it's so obvious when you see them, like especially in the video.
Starting point is 02:17:51 And he's rubbing his hands together and laughing about, you know, and he said that Ben Kavir said that, well, I mean, this is something the United States does, like to justify it, right? And it just totally disgusted me to no end. But anyway, I was talking to them about that and how, you know, they are massacring children, right? Yeah. And he's like, oh, you can't believe that. He says, you can't believe that. That's not true.
Starting point is 02:18:24 The doctor's telling me that it's not true. Okay. Yeah, that those dead kids are playing possum. Right, got it. So that's what really made me go, oh, God, this is what my cardiologist is. So I'm going to definitely get a different one. I was going to say, yeah, maybe look around for a different cardiologist. I mean, the only reason I picked him was because I moved last year, you know, and I wanted to get one that was closer to where I live now.
Starting point is 02:19:01 But my previous cardiologist was absolutely phenomenal. He was from my ran. And he was amazing. I mean, he was nice. Everything about him. He was a great doctor. And, you know, you know, when they do the, uh, thing where they stick the, I don't know why I'm forgetting medical stuff, but they stick a big,
Starting point is 02:19:28 you know, cable up you, yeah, into your heart. Oh, catheterization. Like a big tube. Yeah, yeah. And I've had it done before, you know, like when I had a heart attack, I had it done, and then I had it done afterwards, like, during a checkup. And, oh, my God, it was so, I hated it. because they stick it in your groin, you know,
Starting point is 02:19:53 and it goes all the way up, and it's just, it's not that it's painful, it's just the idea, you know. But this doctor, the other one, his name is Dr. Sererian, he's the one that was Iranian, who was an amazing cardiologist, he did it through the arm. And I'm like, what? I'm like, you mean I kind of had it done through the arm all this time?
Starting point is 02:20:19 And he's like, yeah, that's the preferred way that I do it. And I think, oh, well, I like that better. So I liked him so much, you know, and I really liked him. But when I switched, I did it just out of convenience. But I'm going to go back to Dr. Sererian for sure. It sounds like a good idea. Well, yeah, I should have told this one, you know, my previous cardiologist is from, oh. on that stupid
Starting point is 02:20:50 what do you think about that but um he was telling me that this was like don't fight with your cardiologist I mean yeah just don't not good for your blood pressure I don't have to see him again for like another year
Starting point is 02:21:03 anyway but I he's like well we just need to agree to disagree is what he said I'm like okay but I really was shocked
Starting point is 02:21:16 I really was you know and that someone who's that educated well it sounds like you ran it sounds like you sounds like you uh sounds like you ran over ran across not ran over sounds like you ran across an israel uberalas type yeah they exist oh by the way i do have to do i do have to do a quick correction carl uh kim in new york serving as the horn ad hoc brenda vicarro uh research department noted that Brenda Baccaro lives. She's 86. Yay!
Starting point is 02:21:53 I'm glad to know it. Thank you, Kim. Oh. And Matt in San Francisco, I'm sure you feel better too now. Good. Oh, gosh, yeah. Let me ask you, Carl. And I don't want to get too granular with this or anything, but you're in the Tucson area?
Starting point is 02:22:14 No, I live in Phoenix. Oh, you're in Phoenix. Okay. Well, that takes that out of the running. A dear friend is going to be in Tucson next month, and I'm looking for recommendations for some really, really kick-ass authentic Mexican cuisine. Oh, yeah. I live in Phoenix.
Starting point is 02:22:38 Not this strip mall Mexican like I get. Yeah. Well, there are, I'm sure, that it's just. packed with real authentic Mexican restaurants in Tucson. Well, somebody in the Horn family community congregation maybe. Yeah, somebody in the Horn Family Community congregation maybe in the Tucson area. So if you are, let me know and give me some recommendations so I can share those along. Well, I'm pretty sure that one of your listeners is.
Starting point is 02:23:09 There's another guy that you mentioned sometimes, and I thought you said that he lived in Tucson. I don't remember his name. Doesn't come to mind. But he's the one that you've talked about. Yeah. Is it rig? Oh, no. What's his thing?
Starting point is 02:23:26 I don't know. But anyway, so I've been really enjoying your show lately, too. Oh, thank you. It's been like, it's like he has stepped it up a notch or something. It's fun. I like it. And I do not have an iPhone anymore. I dropped the iPhone.
Starting point is 02:23:46 because Because they're so damn expensive? No, I mean, I had an iPhone 17. You know, I had the latest. But, and I've been making payments on it and stuff. But in the back of my head, there's been this little itching nerve about the fact that Mr. Cook went to Washington and kiss the ring.
Starting point is 02:24:17 Oh, you mean, yeah, Tim Apple? Jim Apple. Yeah, right. He kissed Trump's ass so hard and gave him that gold gift. Every since that happened, it's very annoying to me, the whole thing. And it really bothered me a lot because I'm like, well, there goes another fucking brand, you know? Yeah, but the question arises, is are there any brands that don't?
Starting point is 02:24:47 You know, would the CEO of Samsung not fly across the Pacific and come up and puckered up and smooch the orange behind two? I mean, look what... Well, actually... Or the Google phone? Look at what Google just did with the Lake of America. They bent right over and kissed. But I actually switched to a Google...
Starting point is 02:25:16 fixable. And the reason I did is because of that one, also because of the fact that I'm so tired of feeling pressured, like, oh my God, if you don't get the iPhone, you're such a loser. You know, I mean, and
Starting point is 02:25:33 not everyone's like that, but, you know, my family is like that somewhat. And they're, you know, everybody in my entire family has an iPhone. So, I'm going to be out of the loop now with them, but I don't care. I had a pixel before many years ago,
Starting point is 02:25:51 like when they first came out, and I really liked it. And then I went back to using iPhone because, you know, I just wanted to use FaceTime and stuff. But, um, so I'm using the pixel again, and I actually like it. It's great.
Starting point is 02:26:09 I mean, it takes really good pictures. The camera is amazing. Oh, uh, You know, I've got a, the stress-line phone that you're talking on right now is a Samsung Galaxy S-22 maybe Ultra. I mean, it's old. It's real, but the camera is still a hundred times better than the camera on my iPhone. I'm on a, you know, I'm a broke bitch, Carl. I'm on an iPhone 14.
Starting point is 02:26:43 And we're at the, where at the, where's the, where's the, we're at the, We're all broke. We're at the part of the battery life where I have to charge, you know, it's got to be on the charger overnight, and it'll have to go on the charger sometime during the day, too. And I don't even do that much. Well, if you want to really be a cheap bitch and get a phone that you just use for circumstances like that,
Starting point is 02:27:08 I suggest going to Walmart and buying one of those, they're called a shrew blue. they're an Android phone and they're $30 total. That's what they are. Because I bought one as a burner. At this point, at this point, I have one. I confess, I'm watching. And this is just an iPhone 14 max.
Starting point is 02:27:36 This isn't even the Pro Max. This is just the large iPhone format iPhone 14. I have dreamed. of having the, I want the iPhone 18 Pro Max I want all that processing power, I want all that storage. Right.
Starting point is 02:27:55 And like you said, I want to well, I'm in a long distance relationship and honestly FaceTime is really important.
Starting point is 02:28:11 Yes, I can understand. And I like my You know what? I've discovered that you can do FaceTime on Android now. Really? Well, I also like my blue text messaging. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. To me, and you know, I'm one of those people that are kind of self-conscious about stuff. And I was thinking, oh, God, it's going to be so embarrassing that I have green text message.
Starting point is 02:28:46 messages instead of blue. You know? But then I thought to myself, fuck it, you know what? I'm a 60-year-old man who doesn't care anymore. I'm not trying to compete with my other school kids,
Starting point is 02:29:05 you know? I'm not trying to fit in anymore. And so if mine is green, then mine's green, you know, that's it. Now when it comes to clothes, Well, that's a different story.
Starting point is 02:29:20 Are we a clothes horse, Carl? I am not going to be running around dressed in Tommy Hillfigger, which is actually very looked down upon, in my opinion. And I look down upon it. And I'm not going to be out of fashion. That's what you mean. Hell no. I get it.
Starting point is 02:29:49 I like to be in style. I get it. The moment I transitioned, it's like, oh someday i want to go to paris and get fitted for a chanelle suit oh no carl carl you disappeared uh but yeah chanelle oh there's hopefully that's carl again uh did you push well my fabulous pixel hung up ah but no one of those cheek cheek cheeky yeah it was a cheek yeah that's happened No, like I said, back in the before time when I was swanning around in courtrooms, if it wasn't Georgie O'Armani, it did not go on my back.
Starting point is 02:30:37 And now... Oh, yeah. And now, I just have an abiding yearning for a Chanel suit. And I mean, I need a nice suit. but well gosh yeah or Brooks brother
Starting point is 02:30:55 do they make oh I'm sorry do they make ladies suits they do I believe so they might you know cute little
Starting point is 02:31:05 cute little but I was talking about myself with the Brooks brother yeah right the captoe oxfords and yeah I am like
Starting point is 02:31:15 such a preppy bitch I used to be so preppy up to date when I was in high school and my girlfriend at the time, I actually had a girlfriend, was the same way. So we had the preppy handbook. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 02:31:31 And we followed it to a T, to a T. Pink and green. Oh, yeah. I remember the preppy handbook. Oh, my God, I do. Yeah, we both did, used it. And it was fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:31:50 But I learned so much, like, not to wear certain brands. And some brands are supposed to be preppy, but they're actually not preppy. Like Abercombeen fish looks preppy, but it's not really good. Now, how about Vineyard Vineyard Vineyard. Yeah, oh, that's preppy as fuck. That's so New England. That's the casual wear that has the little whale embroidered on it. Oh, God.
Starting point is 02:32:24 stupid I am. Yes. Yes. But you know, as an adult, I found out I can buy these brands on Poshmark. Oh. See, I have a hard time with Poshmark because I am a suspiciously large woman. And there's just not a lot there. But I can't afford it, but I love Lacoste, even though I can't understand the French sizes. Vineyard Vines. I know, but you can just look them up. Hellie Hanson. I see a lot of people wearing Heli Hanson. But around here in the National Park,
Starting point is 02:33:05 the big deal is, of course, to wear what people around here refer to as Pataguchi. Patagonia. Oh, yeah? What is that? That's Patagonia. Oh, okay. Outdoor adventure wear.
Starting point is 02:33:24 Well, out. Well, outdoor wear is kind of cool looking, I think. And, you know, a step down, but still respectable, of course, is Columbia. I've got... Oh, yeah. Last winter, I bought a great big, puffy, um, Columbia long coat. It may be the warmest thing I have ever worn in my life.
Starting point is 02:33:52 And the nice thing is, it comes down, it comes down to me. mid shins. It actually meets the it meets the boot tops of my ugs. And ugs are another thing that are non-negotiable but not the not the made in China ugs. They're kind of hard to find but the ugg company
Starting point is 02:34:17 took Australian manufacturers of ugg boots to court and said, only we can call them ugg boots and the court said like fact ye si they invented in Australia we've called them Aggies because
Starting point is 02:34:32 they're ugly and they're ass and you can stick it right up you can stick it right up your ass and so if you look around you can find genuine Australian shearling sheep of boots
Starting point is 02:34:47 and they are they're ugly but you can wear them without socks the fleece lining is just like ah It's like having your feet caressed while you walk. I know that sounds a little out there, but they're the most comfortable things in the world. I started wearing them in the before time, and I did not give a flying fuck what anybody thought.
Starting point is 02:35:13 And I even checked in with John Fox down in Australia back, and I said, do guys wear ugs? And he goes, oh, mate, I've got three pairs. So. But it's a very good. It's a very girly fashion statement here to the Ugg Boots, because they make cute ones with like little bows up the back and stuff. Oh, okay. Because in the brutality of winter, I can't stand cold feet. You don't ever have to worry about it, but I do.
Starting point is 02:35:46 You live in Arizona. Yeah, you do. I know. It's still like in the 90s. I think today was 100, mainly. But it's not gotten cool yet. at all by any stretch of imagination. Nope.
Starting point is 02:36:01 Well, not to be, not to be purient or anything. Right now, it is 91 degrees in this studio here, the fabulous horn studios. And as soon as the program is over, I'm going to go through the door into the mansion, and I'm going to be removing clothing all the way, and I'm going to run into my air-conditioned bedroom
Starting point is 02:36:20 and just flop on the bed and lay there in the cold air. It's hot. That sounds very pleasant, actually. Yeah, it's still hot here, and I still don't have a car, so I'm still waiting at the bus stop in the heat. Oh, that's rough. In the sun.
Starting point is 02:36:43 I mean, you know, it's, Ron San, it's been 16 plus here. But it's a dry heat. So, oh, good one, please. Yeah, shut up, I know. I mean, shut up Roxanne. I know. Yeah, come on. find out what that's like. I
Starting point is 02:37:00 I love Hey dudes, Shrean. Okay. Do you know about those? Yes. Hey dudes? Yeah. I've seen him. I never knew anything about him until my niece and her boyfriend bought me a pair for Christmas
Starting point is 02:37:23 about three years ago. And I'm like, wow, you're like really comfortable. And I love the fact that I don't have to wear socks and that I can just slide them on. And they breathe. They breathe.
Starting point is 02:37:41 And they're not expensive. Okay? No, one of my girlfriends got a pair and said, you have got to try these. Oh, and as soon as I find them in my size, I will.
Starting point is 02:37:58 Well, you know, I wear a size 13. You know. So they make them in all varieties. Like I have a pair that looks like Sperry top siders. They're leather boat shoes. And, you know, you can get them like that or you can get swayed. You can get, you know, ones that look like sneakers.
Starting point is 02:38:21 I mean, there's such a variety. So I'm, like, totally into wearing these hey-doos. Hey, dude's my favorite now. My previous favorite one, Skechers. Yeah, sketches are great. right. Again, I run into problems because, and this is the absolute God's honest and unfly-blown truth, all the cute women's shoes end at 11. And I'm a 12. Well, that's rough. My best friend who died was a size 12. She wore size 12. You know,
Starting point is 02:39:00 and so I don't know where she got her shoes from, but she was able to get shoes. Well, that's why my go-to shoes in the summer are what I call the old-school leather keds cheerleader shoes, white leather, little lace-up oxers. Oh, I love it. Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The only problem is they've kind of got that gum sole, and they can be a mite slickety sometimes, depending on the surface. Oh, now I remember where she got a lot of her shoes. she would just buy them at paylust oh yeah
Starting point is 02:39:40 that's a good place I've gotten gotten a lot of cute sandals in her size yeah but I don't know what your show's about today but I will be listening to it
Starting point is 02:39:58 tonight well you'll what yeah we've been all over the place and it means so much to me that you say you're enjoying the program that's that's
Starting point is 02:40:10 that's so encouraging. It really, really is, Carl, and I appreciate that. Well, I love it. I listen to you. My regulars are you, Tara, Mike,
Starting point is 02:40:25 and the five stack. Well, tonight you get a double bonus because Tara and I are filling in for Mike over on progressive voices. Oh, good. And we have a blast, she and I do.
Starting point is 02:40:45 Just an absolute blast when we get together. You know what? She's been, she has been impressing me beyond belief lately. Oh, she's so good and she works so hard. Yeah, and it's paying off now, a lot. Sorry. I'm choking to death on a starburst. It is paying off, and she's having like these.
Starting point is 02:41:14 all of these guests and that's like that. It's amazing. Yeah. You know what, though? I kind of like it when it's just to be honest. But sometimes she has great guests. And most people don't know what a pain in the ass it is to line up guests. Because if, I mean, I used to do it routinely.
Starting point is 02:41:39 But if you've got a guest lined up and at the last minute they go, sorry, can't it well then you've got to fall back on whatever prep you did as if they weren't going to be there and it just sort of it just sort of wrecks the it sort of wrecks the it sort of wrecks the flow when that happens and it happened enough to me and i was like screw this you know this isn't doing me any good i'm trying to help other people you know if you're not going to show up fine but but we have but we have to address the important things in the world today, Carl, and what I want to know and what I bet the Horn Family Community Congregation really wants to know is what's your favorite flavor of Starburst?
Starting point is 02:42:30 Well, okay, I like lemon and cherry. Hmm. I started out. Orange was my favorite. Yeah, orange was my favorite, but I gravitated over to the, the pink ones, the strawberry. I love those. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:42:54 Everybody loves those. Like, they even make that as a bag just of itself, you know, just the pink ones. I had no idea. Yeah, I saw them. I saw them. I got on this kick. I'm still on my, I don't know if I told you last time I talked to you, but I've been on this kick of drumsticks, ice cream.
Starting point is 02:43:17 Oh, God, they're so good. Yeah. Oh, I know. I love them. I love them. And I don't like the kind with nuts on it. I like the ones that say cookie dip, you know? Ooh, yeah.
Starting point is 02:43:33 Oh, and I presume out in Arizona, you, of course, still have DQs, right? Dairy Queen? Yes. Okay, two recommendations, because now we're talking about serious things. one their lemonade cooler is fantastic it's their lemonade blended yeah it's their lemonade blended with their vanilla soft serve for an absolutely cool and refreshing drink okay that sounds great and the other thing is they have a seasonal blizzard right now which i refer to as a buzzard they've got a seasonal blizzard right now. One is caramel apple. It's wonderful.
Starting point is 02:44:25 But the other one they have is the Biskopf cookie blizzard. Remember the Biscop's, the little things you got on Delta flights and you can finally get them in real grocery stores now? Yeah, they got a Biscop blizzard that's just yummy. I bet they are. I'm going to have to try one. I always get the recent peanut butter cups. That's my go-to. That's my go-to. My standard, my standard blizzard is what I call the Elvis. Yeah, what's that? Yeah, it's hot fudge, banana, and peanut butter as a blizzard.
Starting point is 02:45:08 That sounds good. Yeah. Wow. Yeah, as in. Where I work, there's a Culver's next door. Oh, damn it. Yum. You had to ruin it for me.
Starting point is 02:45:20 I don't have a Culver's. You got a Culver's in Phoenix. I don't have one in West Virginia. This timeline blows. It's right next door to where I work, and my boss always takes us over there for lunch, because we always get the children's meal. And the children's meal, you get an actual cheeseburger with anything on it that you want, and french fries, and also a frozen yogurt. Well, yummy. All of that's included.
Starting point is 02:45:56 Okay. So a suggestion. And, you know, the price is so cheap. Yeah, but a suggestion, sub the cheese curds for the French fries. Well, the cheese curds are heavenly. My boss, who is also my friend, that's what he does every time. Or he'll just buy the cheese curds in addition to the fries.
Starting point is 02:46:21 And, of course, the frozen yogurt at Culvers is, I mean, frozen yogurt, the frozen custard at Culver's, cannot be beaten. And their idea of a blizzard is something they call a concrete mixer. And I remember, oh, God, I can't remember what year, but I was up in Madison, Wisconsin. We were going to Fighting Bob Fest. I was speaking there. And I went into Culver's in Madison and got a peach, because their featured flavor of the month or whatever,
Starting point is 02:46:53 was peach frozen custard. I got a peach cobbler. concrete mixer, and I just wanted to stick my whole face in it. Get out. Oh, my God, yes. You know, I totally love peach stuff, especially peach cobbler stuff. Did it have pieces of crust in it? Oh, yes.
Starting point is 02:47:20 Oh, goody, goody. And the gooey inside the peach cobbler stuff and the peaches. and oh, oh, it's so good, so good. And I'm that way with peaches, too. Okay, now you have to go and look for a peach concrete mixer. I will. That's what I'm going to get the next time. They may not have it.
Starting point is 02:47:47 That sounds so yummy. Oh, is it cheese bowl? Yeah, I think it is because, you know, peach is only ripen for a certain period of time, depending on where one is. because at one point in time, Ben and Jerry's did a Willie Nelson's Texas Peach Cobbler ice cream, and it was amazing. You can tell I went looking for peach ice cream the other day. I struck out. I had it at D.C. Queen. Or Baskin Robbins, one of the two. I bet it was Baskin Robbins. I've never seen Beach Cobbler at DQ.
Starting point is 02:48:32 Oh, okay. Yeah, it probably was, now that I think about it. it. Yes, peach cobbler, ice cream stuff is to die for. I know. It is good. Food porn. Yeah, I went looking for it the other day, and, yeah, I couldn't find anything, but I had it very much at top of mind.
Starting point is 02:48:53 The other thing I did run across when I failed to find my peach ice cream, I found Fat Boy, New York strawberry cheesecake ice cream sandwiches on a stick. really? Yeah, and it was a strawberry cheesecake ice cream with like a hard candy, vanilla candy coating, and it was rolled in graham cracker crumbs. It was really good. Yeah, I had to crush and snort up. And I had to crush up Format Foreman's and just snort them right off the counter there.
Starting point is 02:49:32 But it was good. I'm sure. I'm sure. Now you triggered my dog. Dolly Parton. Yeah, hard candy Christmas. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:49:44 But I, um, my memory of Dolly Parton that has stuck with me all these years is you can only get them in boxes of breeze detergent. Ha! Do you remember that? No. There were these cowls that were free. Oh. They would get in boxes of brief laundry detergent. and she and Porter Wagner did commercials for that.
Starting point is 02:50:14 I, as a child, I remember it so well because they had candy scraps, and they also had flowers. And they had different ones. And she said, you can get them all. But I love, the thing that stuck with me is when she just said, you can only get them in boxes, the breeze detergent. And so I would beg my mother to get that because I wanted to get those towels, you know. Of course, I was a little gay boy.
Starting point is 02:50:51 I needed Kansas type towels. Oh, of course. So my mother was like, those towels are shitty. She's like, they're spin and, you know, they're like not good. They're not high quality towels. And I'm like, I know, but the Dali Parton tell. so we did get them a couple times and they were like they were very flimsy towel they were yeah but um
Starting point is 02:51:15 but you could if you were hard-pressed you could use those towels to make a pretty little dress oh yeah you could flower sack dresses used to be a thing around here well you could also use them for rags for cleaning you know i wouldn't want to do that to miss dog Now, I tell you what, Wally World last year, it was in the winter, they had like Dolly Parton Iron Skilets. And Dolly Parton, and I can't remember if it was Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines, probably Betty Crocker, Dolly Parton Cornbread Mix. You know, I do recall seeing that.
Starting point is 02:52:11 and also other Dolly Parton frozen dinners or something? Yeah, maybe. Or frozen bakery stuff. You know what makes me so mad is I actually remember when a lot of her albums were being re-released on vinyl,
Starting point is 02:52:34 this is about three years ago, three or four years ago. And they were, you know, they were all remastered and stuff and they were, prices were like, you know, $30 or whatnot. The regular going price for a vinyl record. And I thought, ooh, maybe I should get one. Because I was thinking about getting Jolene and also the Code of Many Colors album.
Starting point is 02:53:00 And I just like, I'm like, okay, I'm going to get it, but I never did. And so after she died, I'm like going online and looking at the fact that they're like $300. plus now. Of course. Now, if you want to hear a really interesting rendition of Jolene, you should listen to, you should hear Jack White's version of it. And he doesn't change any, yeah, he doesn't change any of the lyrics, you know, White Stripes, he doesn't change any of the lyrics.
Starting point is 02:53:30 The lyrics remain feminine. Please don't, and Jack White in his male voice singing, Jolene, please don't take my man. Yeah, I'll have to look that out. I like her music, you know? Yeah. And it's not like the typical kind of music I would like, you know? That's what's telling me about it.
Starting point is 02:53:58 But I love her voice. It's like sugar, you know? It's like sugar being poured. It just sounds so honey sweet. and just everything about her. I just totally love her. So the other night I'm like, oh, I need to watch,
Starting point is 02:54:19 what's it called? The best little whorehouse in Texas. So I got on this kick, but I wanted to watch it. So it wasn't on any streaming services for free, so I ended up paying, you know, I rented it. It was only like $3 to rent it. But, yeah,
Starting point is 02:54:38 I love where she's saying, her trademark song in that movie. She's so great. I will always love you. You know, she was really a sweetheart, a total sweetheart.
Starting point is 02:54:54 And when they, she told a story that when Kevin Costner was producing and making the bodyguard, they had another song lined up, but somebody else had bought the rights to it, and they were in a bind. And somebody said, hey, listen to Dolly Parton's, I will always love you.
Starting point is 02:55:18 And both he and Whitney Houston fell in love with the song instantaneously. And that made Dolly rich beyond her wildest dreams, as if she wasn't already. Wow, I didn't know that's how it happened. Gosh, yeah, that movie is, I really, you know who was supposed to be in the movie originally? Diana Ross was supposed to be in it It was going to be Diana Ross and Ryan O'Neill
Starting point is 02:55:47 But Barry Gordy Said no You know, he was your manager Pretty much Ran the show As far as she was concerned But yeah, he said no
Starting point is 02:56:01 He didn't think it was a good idea If he had to do it But I wish she would have You know Well it occupies the special thing It turned out great though Yeah, that movie occupies a special place in my heart because that was a very early date night movie for me back in the day. Ooh.
Starting point is 02:56:22 Who were you on the day with? Annette, who I went on to marry. Gosh, that's pretty cool. Sweet. I do love that song by Whitney. I really do. She kills it. So you know, no, or when me.
Starting point is 02:56:45 But, anyway, what time is it? It's 8 o'clock now. Yeah, it's kind of time for me to get out of here. I'm on, by the way, here in the fabulous Horn Studio sauna, I am now on, I'm on bottle of water number three. Do you pay for those? What, the water bottles? Yeah, I buy water.
Starting point is 02:57:10 Yeah. Oh, I use pure. I have a pure thing on my sink. Yeah. I just happen to be in West Virginia, and I know the kind of shit that gets dumped in our rivers and streams and stuff. And I'm still a little bit snake bit. I'm still a little bit snake bit from the freedom disaster of 12 years ago, when 300,000 people in nine counties got their water poisoned. by a coal industry service company with a chemical called methylchlorohexane methanol.
Starting point is 02:57:53 This is sound good. No, it wasn't. You know, 900,000, 300,000 or 300,000 people are even still involuntary participants in a long-term epidemiological study of the effects of methylchlorohexane methanol on the, the human body. That's so bad. That's so bad. And, you know, you should be ashamed of yourself from not one named data centers,
Starting point is 02:58:26 too. Oh, yeah, absolutely. What the hell is wrong with me? And we should put flock cameras everywhere. Yeah. But, no, I go to Kroger because it's a union shop
Starting point is 02:58:37 and their bottled water, their bottled water bottles have no BPA in them, so. Okay. Oh, well. You know, you have to. You can't drink poison. Not good for you. Yeah, not usually. Well, you know, I'm so glad that I got to talk to you.
Starting point is 02:59:04 I'm glad you called. I always think of all the kind of stuff I wanted to talk to you about and stuff. You know, and I write letters sometimes, but, you know, it's fun or to talk. Oh, it absolutely is. No doubt about that. And I love how it's so great to be able to reach out to you. That's awesome. Well, listen, you just keep getting better and get over COVID and be glad you got your vaccines. And once the tax lov, it's done its job, it'll be flu season, flu shot season, RSV shot season.
Starting point is 02:59:41 And hey, COVID season, all over again. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I forgot about having COVID now after. talking to you. Oh, that makes me so happy. I am so happy that we got to talk, so keep going. I love your show.
Starting point is 03:00:02 I wish that I could contribute more, but, you know, I'm hard. No, I understand. We all are. Yes. And, you know, as long as I can keep the wolf off the door and keep all the bills paid, we'll keep doing this. But it's kind of like when I beg people, it's kind of like when I beg people to leave comments on the podcast and stuff, that interaction makes it more likely that more people will find the program.
Starting point is 03:00:32 Because this does remain, and I find self-promotion extremely difficult. But this is a program unlike any other. And I wish more people knew about it. about it. I think back to the phone system we had when we started, it had six, it had six numbers, and good God, it was expensive. But they were, you know, and I'd be sitting here with all six numbers lit up. And, you know, over time, people move on, people choose to do their own thing. the great purity wars of 2016
Starting point is 03:01:22 were hell uh-huh uh oh yeah yeah uh well i wish that i need to remember
Starting point is 03:01:32 to promo you more but I'd never go on blue sky I hardly ever go on it but you know for some crazy reason I have like 15,000 followers I don't know how
Starting point is 03:01:43 wow but if you start promoting If you start promoting the show to your 15,000 followers, God knows what might happen. I know. I should just do it every day. And I post the show. I will.
Starting point is 03:02:00 I post the show to Blue Sky every evening, and Micah cross-posted over to the Horn, the Horn Blue Sky account at head-on. Live. Goodness gracious, I didn't realize you were such an influencer. Well, you know what? On my old ex-accounts, I had 80,000 followers. So I started doing money-making opportunities and stuff, and then I ended up getting my account, suspended, taken away. But I never would promote it on there because, and I started in a new one, I've already gotten, like, 35,000. Since June? Maybe I need to bring you on as a social media consultant.
Starting point is 03:02:51 My God. I think I've got maybe 13. I've got maybe 13 followers on Blue Sky or something. I don't know. Oh, boy. Well, you know, it's a, I'm not going to promote you on my current Twitter because it's a adult content. That's fine. I understand.
Starting point is 03:03:14 Yeah. And Twitter is a sewer. Well, luckily I don't participate in the political on Twitter anymore. I just can't. But, you know, I do the adult thing and people like what I do. Cool. Isn't that funny? But I have, and it's not me, I'm not taking naughty pictures.
Starting point is 03:03:37 I do comment. I write commentary. You know, that's all. But, yeah. I appreciate everything that you do. I really do. Well, thank you, Carl. Nice talking to you.
Starting point is 03:03:53 Lovely talking to you, and you keep getting better, you hear? Stay in touch. Let us know you're on the end. I will. Thank you so much for talking to me. Oh, thank you for calling. You have a great mind, Mark. Take care, Carl.
Starting point is 03:04:08 Bye. All right. Oh, that was lovely. That was so much fun talking to Carl. And gosh, I hope he continues to not have a bad time with COVID. Sounds like about as good as it can be. Doesn't Billable live in Los Angeles? Sumon asked.
Starting point is 03:04:24 You said Phoenix, I think. No, Billable lives in Los Angeles. This was Carl, who I thought lived in Tucson, but he lives in Phoenix.
