Starting point is 00:00:02 The password is concern. It's showtime. Here we go, live from behind the corn phone curtain. It's head-on with Roxanne Kincaid. Three hours of cussin and discussin, with America's only liberal trans-billy elitist right here, right now, on the head-on radio network. Brought to you in part by Cole River Mountain Watch,
Starting point is 00:00:49 who invites you to be part of the uprising against mountaintop removal. CRMW.net. And now, from high in the hills of West by God, Virginia, here she is. Roxanne Kincaid. Well, howdy. And here we go, off and running on this final day of April, the 30th of April, 2006. This is the horn.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Head on dot live. This is where you'll find us on the interweb tubes. That's also where you go. If you'd like to be part of the Mary Wacky Zany Real Time Mad Cat Multimedia, extravaganza that is the horn chat room in the three hours in which this program is live Monday through Friday 5 to 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 2 to 5 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time, all time zones in between, and the Great Globe round, and whatever time it is when you're listening to the podcast. And if, in fact, you are a member of the podcast and contingent
Starting point is 00:01:59 of the Horn family community congregation, well, thank you very kindly for joining us in that manner. Thank you so much, indeed. if you could see your way clear and I was reading some comments and stuff last night over at Podbean well if you leave comments and interact and converse back and forth
Starting point is 00:02:24 on your podcasting platform it's immensely helpful so thank you to those of you who do and I hope more of you might consider doing so and of course if you're listening live well, goodness me. I'm awfully glad to have you here this evening. Thank you so much for joining in.
Starting point is 00:02:46 And hey to Sylvie in particular. Sylvie reported back yesterday evening after the close of the program. The heart attack proved to be a false alarm, an old rib fracture exacerbated by a fall recently. That is much better news than a heart attack, Sylvie. so we're all terribly happy for you, delighted, in fact. So, again, congratulations on only being hurt because you fell down recently. Somehow that doesn't sound right, but I hope you get the spirit of the thing. Yeah, and every program here at the Horn begins with gratitude,
Starting point is 00:03:28 and this program is no different. So thanks go out to those of you who contributed on this 30th day of the month. so very much indeed. It has enabled some bill paying. Big thanks to huge thanks, humongous thanks to Joan. Thank you, Joan, to have a show on me's. And thanks as well to Charlie at APS Radio News.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Thank you so much. Thanks for helping to keep this all on the air in what has turned out to be the most difficult month, this little independent effort at broadcasting has ever faced. But I can happily report that thanks to your help, we are only $645 away from being funded for the first half of April. So that's only two days of the first half of April. That's basically the 15th and the 14th and $45 worth of the 13th. And that's a big deal indeed.
Starting point is 00:04:35 you so much thank you and of course it's also the final broadcast of the month so that's when we say thank you to our patreon subscribers thank you indeed and that means let's see here yeah thank you to carl thank you carl and thank you daisy and thank you nancy thank you Ethan. Thanks to Miss Terry. Thank you, Dr. Allen. Thanks to Theo, continuing to recuperate and rooting for that recuperation. I hope things are going well for you,
Starting point is 00:05:17 Theo. Thanks as well to Randy Radar. Thank you to Christopher and Mike in Cascadia, Michael of the Guffins. Thank you. Jeff Inslow. Thank you for your Patreon subscription and thanks as well
Starting point is 00:05:35 for the have a show on me earlier in the week. Thank you very, very kindly indeed. Thank you Kay and Andrea. Thank you James. Thank you Joanne, Lori, Auntie Kat in Ohio. Thank you. Thank you, John. And thank you another John. Thanks, K.W. Thanks Erwin. And thank you Barb, as well as thank you, Horst in Taiwan. Thank you, Robin. Thank you, Teris. Thanks, Brother Deacon Asa, and thanks Jeremy. Thank you all so very much. And now that having been said, this is how we calculate it. So, with what, you know, basically,
Starting point is 00:06:17 um, Patreon provides about one day's broadcasting. So that means that we bring it down to 3345. That's only $345
Starting point is 00:06:33 to go to be fully funded for the first half of April Thank you. Thank you to all of our Patreon subscribers. Patreon's real easy to sign up for. It's over at headon.org, under the contribute tab, and you can set it and forget it.
Starting point is 00:06:51 It comes out on the first of the month. And it, well, I continue to believe that this is one of the best media bargains out there in the wide, wide world today, especially in light of the fact that you don't have to put up with ads for buy gold now or reverse mortgages or what are they hustling over on fox these days oh catheters catheters you don't have to put up with catheter ads is that too
Starting point is 00:07:25 and uh you know a ten dollar subscription it's literally pennies per program so thanks again the password for this Thorn in the side Thursday was, of course, concern, yes. And, well, there are two people that are primarily affiliated with the word concern within the realm of conversation that we engage in.
Starting point is 00:08:02 And that, of course, is, well, you know, Chuckle Schumer, known for his character. crafted concerned letters and notes and whatnot. Yeah. But of course, the other practitioner of concern is none other than Susan Collins. And Susan Collins must be feeling some heat because she issued a really long press release today about the war powers act and the war against the people of iran and deeply concerned yes yes yes because back two months ago at the beginning of march well she was all in with her orange daddy back then saying
Starting point is 00:09:14 we cannot tolerate a nuclear armed Iran the Iranian regime's pursuit of nuclear capabilities ballistic missile development and support for terrorist proxies pose serious and longstanding through yada yada yada yada yada and said that passing a war powers resolution would send the wrong message to Iran and our troops well
Starting point is 00:09:41 she's making noises like she has changed her tune. I don't necessarily believe that's true. But there are a couple of forces at work. Namely, earlier today, the governor of Maine, Janet Mills, who actually had the courage to stand up to geyser disgust us and tell him that she'd see him in court when he threatened her. Well, today she suspended her campaign for the Democratic nomination for the Senate seat presently held by Citizen Collins, because she doesn't have any money. The sitting governor of Maine running for the Senate of the United States doesn't have any money. So for all intents and purposes, we can say that Graham Platner, a political,
Starting point is 00:11:00 newcomer with a very interesting pass that will get him chewed to pieces by the maggots in general election in November. Well, he's apparently going to be the standard bearer for the Democrats, and I'm sorry, once bitten twice shy. I have this unsettling sense that he could very easily turn into the next Kirsten Mansion in the Senate. You know, once upon a time the dictator Sulla, oh, really? This early in the program, Roxanne? Yes. In ancient Rome, the dictator Sulla spared the life of Gaius Julius Kizar and said, I will spare him. him. But in this man, I see many Mariuses, because it had been Gaius Marius, who brought the Republic to the brink of collapse and led to Sulla's dictatorship just to rid them, rid the Romans of Gaius Marius, who earlier in his life had been brilliant and had been a mentor to Sulla.
Starting point is 00:12:28 but along about his seventh consulship he proved to be and this is a complicated classical antiquity term bat-shit crazy so Sulla marched on her own and took the reins of government and so that's a long way around of saying in Graham Platner
Starting point is 00:13:00 I see many fettermans just have a hard time trust in somebody who had a Nazi tattoo for over a decade and never realized it was a Nazi tattoo. Right there on his tit. Oh well. But the thing is, Plattner has criticized Susan Collins for her blind, servile support of this illegal war.
Starting point is 00:13:42 So now she's saying, if there are military hostilities beyond the 60 days Congress has to authorize them or Congress can block them but Congress has to act as I have said these hostilities when these hostilities with Iran began the President's authority as commander-in-chief is not without limits she said all this posting an excrement to X
Starting point is 00:14:14 the Constitution gives Congress an assent I know. She sounds like a slightly feminine Bobby Kennedy. My Susan Collins impression went right down the drain when Bobby showed up. The Constitution gives Congress an essential role in decisions of war and peace, and the War Powers Act establishes a clear 60-day deadline for Congress to either authorize or end U.S. involvement in foreign hostilities. That deadline is not a suggestion. It is a requirement.
Starting point is 00:14:48 And so some of the pampered panjandrums in the political media See this as her somehow breaking ranks with nitwit Niro It isn't this is just more concern because well the 60 days are up At midnight this evening And as she said Congress has has to act. But she's not saying that she's going to vote against this illegal war. And I'm sorry, again, once bitten twice shy.
Starting point is 00:16:01 She said, our military has performed magnificently with great courage and sacrifice in diminishing the threat that Iran poses to our country. Well, you'll get a mean tripe out of that one, Susie Q. You didn't say that we had obliterated it. You have to say obliterated, honey. Further military action against Iran must have a clear mission, achievable goals, and a defined strategy for bringing the conflict to a close. I voted to end the continuation of these military hostilities at this time until such a case is made.
Starting point is 00:16:45 You believe her? You trust her? Breaks ranks with? I ain't sold. Not no east. No. And then, we didn't get to it yesterday. The conversation with David in Oregon was so good and so profound
Starting point is 00:17:33 that I didn't spend any time on the DUI hire Whiskey Pete Kemp, kegbreth's disastrous performance before the House of Representatives. He took his show on the road today and walked across, did he walk? He was probably driven across the Capitol, and it didn't go much better there in the Senate. Micah noting, God help me, I'm almost rooting for Susan Collins. Okay, not really, but I'm glad that isn't my election to have to make that call. And hell no, I don't trust her. Lee in New York noting, this is good.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Susan Collins is concerned about November. Wait, now she's turning into Howard CoSell? Roxanne. So we'll see. We'll see. But saying, Congress must act. And it can. And it can do, Congress can do exactly what it did back in 2003.
Starting point is 00:18:56 And get down and, kiss the feet of a nascent war criminal at least there's nothing nascent in this case nitwit Niro is already a war criminal but there is a genuine and David and I talked about some of this last night there is a genuine
Starting point is 00:19:24 disaster unfolding in the Persian Gulf I guess nitwit Nero could rename it the Gulf of Iran but it's already the Persian Gulf, so to-da. No, a human rights disaster is genuinely unfolding in the Persian Gulf. Some
Starting point is 00:19:54 20,000 mariners are trapped with nowhere to go and no safe harbor. 20,000 mariners on 2,000 vessels stranded in the general vicinity of the straits with any number
Starting point is 00:20:18 of crosshairs on them and dwindling food and water. These civilian mariners, that is to say, non-combatants, are rationing water, they're rationing food. There are charities that go to great lengths and engage in great risk to try to provide supplies to these merchant marine sailors. One of them is called Mission to Seafarers. They can't take, they can't go into a harbor because the harbors, A, aren't safe, and B, they're not allowed in there because most of them are likely uninsured at this point.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Jesus. And the thing is, again, in yesterday's conversation with David, I pointed out, you'd think we would have learned something about the kinds of shortages that are coming from nitwit Nero's War of Choice, just lessons learned during the pandemic. And I didn't know about this, but back during the pandemic, my God, as many as 400,000 mariners were stranded at sea. They weren't paid, and they couldn't go home. And if you care about labor rights, dear God,
Starting point is 00:22:25 the labor rights of these people barely exist at all. And the thing is, those ships have been targeted not just by Iran, but by we the people of the United States as well, via our navy that has been reduced to engaging in piracy on the high seas. And the number of abandoned seafarers has increased over six, six years in a row. Just last year, before any of this madness started, 6,223 mariners were abandoned on 410 ships.
Starting point is 00:23:37 We mentioned the problems for the U.S. Navy being resupplied. These guys barely get a mention at all. I mean, it kind of worked. But again, back to our conversation yesterday, all of these systems are hyper-fragile. Randy Radar, noting some news reports claim that the U.S. sailors are starving, but that would suppose they were out of MREs. Yes, they would suppose that. They only stock so much because they anticipate resupply. What they didn't anticipate was, well, this.
Starting point is 00:24:54 And I've got a note here from Sylvie moving on to another topic. Now for the belly laugh, the gang that couldn't shoot straight, according to Donald McDemass's officials, investigators say five bullet casings were found at the scene where the wannabe assassin Cole Allen was tackled. The Secret Service fired five shots. The perp was not hit. The round that nearly took out.
Starting point is 00:25:28 one of the SS officers was friendly fires friendly fire numnuts nero a better watch is six one of his own keystone cops could take him out by accident i know don't threaten me with a good time yeah and oddly enough uh joyce uh Joyce Vance mentioned that yesterday on my filthy morning, former filthy morning habit. And it doesn't look good for the prosecution, especially in light of the fact that, well, Winebox Janine will probably be in charge of the prosecution. Let me see if I can find that real quick. Yeah, I think this is it. Yeah, here we go. Of course, from the very beginning on Monday, I've noted that this is a prosecution.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Oh, fraught with problems. And whether the Secret Service agent hit by a bullet there was struck by the alleged gunman or by friendly fire. It's still an open question. MS now has learned FBI investigators have not been able to find the fragment that pierced the Secret Service officer's bulletproof vest. I'm not surprised. After suspect, Cole Allen rushed security at the event. That's according to two people briefed on the investigation. Officials say they believe Alan fired a single shell as he breached that final checkpoint at the Washington Hilton.
Starting point is 00:27:34 But investigators have not been able to confirm whether Allen's shotgun blast struck the officer or how the injury occurred. That officer was treated at the hospital and released, thank goodness. The FBI declined to comment to MS now. Here's what acting attorney general Todd Blanche said earlier this week about questions surrounding that gunfire. Oh, goody. I just wanted to clarify. You said the one officer fired their weapon five times. Was that the only officer who discharged a firearm?
Starting point is 00:28:03 I want to be very careful in answering that question because this is, when you do ballistics... Oh, and yeah, there's a, there's Juice Box, Janine, standing right next to him. Oh, dear. Evidentiary collection and research, it is very complicated. So when you fire a bullet, the bullet ends up somewhere. Sometimes you find it, sometimes you don't. And so with that qualifier, we believe right now that there was... Dear God, behold, the steel trap mind of the man who got his client hung out to drive for 34 felonies.
Starting point is 00:28:40 When you fire a gun, a bullet goes somewhere. Son of a gun. But here's one thing. I'm assuming, that could be wrong, that these Secret Service agents are probably carrying 9mm semi-automatic pistols, and the would-be assassin stated that he was carrying a shotgun, loaded with double-a-buck because he didn't want to risk potential unintended injuries by using slugs. Well, Double-Ot Buck is basically just round shot.
Starting point is 00:29:32 It looks different from a 9-millimeter round. Does Todd Blanchie know that? Sometimes you find them, sometimes you don't. Oh, Wellesies. Five shots fired from the same firearm. But there's a team of folks looking at this that are experts and the evidence collection team that we're in that area. area of the hotel where the shots were fired will work all night. They have the evidence they
Starting point is 00:30:07 collected. But it's not an exact science from the standpoint that, for example, the buckshot, when that shots, it scatters everywhere. So Joyce, when you were a prosecutor, you worked on several ATF gun cases. What questions do you have around the confusion here? I spent a lot of time prosecuting ATF cases and gun cases. Enough time to know, Willie, that this isn't just any case. This is a case involving a threat to the president of the United States. So all of the best investigative resources are out there. And what agents routinely do in a case like this where you're looking for physical evidence
Starting point is 00:30:48 is they have the ability to create a formation and to sweep the room, to find evidence, because with firearms, it's very important to understand the trajectory, right? that helps you understand which guns fired, which ammunition, which spent rounds. All of which is true and rational, but you have to factor in the fact that this is, this is the secret service that is now under the purview first of Krusty the nasty Nazi gnome, and now the guy whose mother couldn't decide who the father was and named him after both dudes. Mark Lane. Because you can, in addition to matching up the caliber of the ammunition to the firearm and doing other sorts of testing to identify it, you then have a better picture of the action.
Starting point is 00:31:43 The government has a real problem here. They've charged this shooter, one of their three charges against him, is discharging his firearm during this incident. And if they can't prove that, then that charge will be dismissed in advance of any additional proceeding. in this case. Joyce, you might also want to mention that the prosecution team will be directed by Judge Winebox, Janine Piro, who literally can't indict a ham sandwich. Former U.S. Attorney. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:32:18 I want to clear this up. Joyce, Joyce, I don't get it. I don't get it. It's a pretty confined space. And you got Todd Blanche talking about a magic bullet disappearing. And you also have still frames of the shooting where, again, if you go frame by frame by frame by frame, a lot of journalists and experts have looked at this, and they don't see the alleged shooter ever in a position where he fired his shot. They also have frame by frame by frame by frame.
Starting point is 00:32:54 The police officers lined up in a position. that certainly makes it look like Sky News reporting and others reporting it could be friendly fire. How in such a small, in such a small confined location, does a magic bullet disappear? First of all, and I'm sure it could. I'm sure that has happened. But this hasn't really, Todd Blanche's explanation of this hasn't really made a lot of sense. this one charge about firing a weapon hasn't really made too much sense from the time he started talking about it. Help us understand better why they even brought that charge before knowing whether he actually discharged a weapon. This is a great question, and they likely brought it
Starting point is 00:33:47 because of the penalty it carries. It's a 10-year penalty. The statute 924C is something prosecutors have an easier time proving, perhaps, than some of the other charges that carry an intent. But, Joe, your point is absolutely correct. Look, they can check the agent's guns. They will know who fired guns and who didn't. That's something that's relatively routine in a situation like this. And so we're forced to confront the notion that after Donald Trump went out Saturday night and praised the Secret Service, there may be a lack of willingness to have to walk that.
Starting point is 00:34:25 that back and say that this was, in fact, a friendly fire incident. Jonathan Lemire, consider this for a moment. If, as some analysts who are experts, if their conclusion is correct, and we don't know, Todd Blanche obviously doesn't know. The Justice Department obviously doesn't know. The FBI doesn't know because they're focused on seashells right now. But think about it. If the person, the suspect that ran through the security perimeter, never fired a shot.
Starting point is 00:35:07 And right now, Todd Blanche can't tell us whether they did. Then all of the panic that went on downstairs, all of the screaming, all of the shutdown, all of the everything happened. perhaps if the shooter didn't fire the weapon because of friendly fire. And it certainly changes the entire justification instead of a shooter coming in. And he had guns, mind you. It was a very dangerous situation. And the Secret Service did an amazing job. God bless him for doing that.
Starting point is 00:35:44 But all of these ideas that this guy came through and was firing weapons and everything else. If it was friendly fire, it certainly changes the dynamics of so much about how we view that night. So what have you heard from the White House? What of your sources told you about whether this was friendly fire and whether, in fact, this guy that was trying to storm the ballroom to hurt administration officials didn't fire a weapon? So a couple of things here. So what I've heard, people I've talked the last couple days, it is an open question. They don't know yet if it was friendly fire or not. That in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, the investigators wrote and even put in a shooting report,
Starting point is 00:36:34 that the suspect did get at least a couple shots off and they believed it had hit the agent. Since then, that has, there's called, there's some question. They're not having concluded one way or the other, but it is still being investigated. That's what's happening here. Now, you're right, Joe, that this guy still clearly, He was armed. He posed a threat. You're also right, Joe, that if he never got a shot off, that does change the dynamic somewhat as to what happened that day, that this perhaps was just friendly, it would have been friendly fire. And obviously, we have seen how the administration has seized
Starting point is 00:37:06 upon this moment to renew their calls for the ballroom and to change security procedures around the president. That is part of this, too. And I think it leaves two outstanding questions. One is simply is another moment, is Secret Service's conduct in the last, since Butler has come under question a number of times. I think, you know, obviously they performed bravely here, but still there will be things that will be looked at. I think that's number one. And secondly, more than anything, it could just be another example of the administration refusing to ever contradict anything the president says. He said Saturday night that an agent was shot by the suspect. So therefore, that has to be gospel. Instead of just saying, well, the investigation has actually led us
Starting point is 00:37:42 another way. And again, we don't know that it will. But even as a hypothetical, they can't acknowledge that things could have changed, that Trump could have been wrong, and I keep even in a far less weighty matter. Let's remember. Yeah. I mean, look, once upon a time, we made movies, Hollywood did. Me and Hollywood, right? Once upon a time, Hollywood made movies about the Secret Service, and they cast Clint Eastwood. What a bad movie. Now, if you make a movie about the secret service it
Starting point is 00:38:22 would probably be better off casting the guy who played Dwight on the office as Micah points out these are experts pressing X to doubt given most every competent expert in the federal government
Starting point is 00:38:44 was either run out of town or probably quit we it's funny we We can't have a lithium gap and we can't have a mineshaft gap, but by God, we can have a whopping big expertise gap. And honestly, I was surprised when Jehosephat brought up Todd Blanchie, I was surprised Joe didn't go immediately to his tried and true.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Now, I'm just an old country lawyer, Mr. Douglas. Well, there's that expertise gap again. This is the guy who is nominally in charge of the Department of Justice. You know, alongside a guy who, according to published reports, it gets blackout drunk. Thorn on the side Thursday, indeed. Where's the bullet, Mr. Blanche? right i remember the withering cross-examination all the way back during the o j simpson trial it just ruined
Starting point is 00:40:13 he was a crime lab guy and i just remember one of oj's lawyers just saying where is it mr fung where is it mr fung where is it and uh thank you thank you jeremy we've got some loose change to play with again We're down to 3343.8389. And thank you, Ralph's. The challenge was, in fact, met. So that takes us down to, goodness me, and keep the 89 there. 331889. Thank you, Ralph.
Starting point is 00:41:16 Thank you so much. Ralph says, thanks, everyone. Jeremy noting such intense intelligence. When you fire a gun, the bullet goes somewhere. Sometimes you find it. Sometimes you don't. Yeah, sometimes it just must have ricocheted around the room like a pinball, I guess. And Lee notes, are you expecting a proper investigation from this DOJ?
Starting point is 00:41:58 I expect nothing from this DOJ that isn't entirely wholly and utterly and completely correct. and incompetent and to expect otherwise is to be at the very least a sweet summer child it's such a Thursday and like I said there was there was some fireworks I'm not going to pull a Caroline Levitt and say shots fired no there were some fireworks in the Senate earlier today when Whiskey Pete showed up and i know she doesn't like her but bless her heart you know from the even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then department elissa slotkin made the DUI hire look like the absolute dumbass dick had that he is um gentlemen you're here to ask for 1.5 trillion dollars uh 40 percent more than what we gave you last year, a trillion dollars.
Starting point is 00:43:22 And I agree with the chairman of this committee that the world has never been more dangerous and complicated. And regardless of whether we disagree on the reasons for getting into this war, I think we can all agree that we want our military to come out of it safely and successfully and as soon as feasible. The military has taken, the administration has taken military action in 10 different places in the world in 15 months, more than any president in U.S. history. I think President Trump has really become a foreign policy president. And many of those operations were on the news for a couple of days, but then the American public didn't feel them. And I think the difference with this war with Iran is that the American public is feeling it in their,
Starting point is 00:44:12 pocketbooks. A gas in Michigan is $4.99 today, the cost of fertilizer of airline tickets, things that are real to people. Secretary Hague said, the president said that you were most keen on this war. He said that you were the most gung-ho about it. And I think despite us all wanting to come out of this successfully, it is hard to miss that we are at the stalemate, that we don't control the Strait of Hormuz because shipping is not getting through. And we can block what they're trying to get through, but nothing is moving and it's costing the American public. And I think that's a fundamentally different moment than the rest of the military action we've taken. Even in like
Starting point is 00:45:00 Middle East 101 class, we used to talk about and run war games on the Strait of Hormuz. It's a strategic geography that the Iranians have. And I think it's just concerning to me, that we, you know, we can try and tell the American people that it's going great and we're killing it, but until the Strait of Hormuz is open, I don't think we can credibly say that with any seriousness. I think the question I have for you, though, is future looking, and it's our 20-26 elections. The president has been very clear. He said in the state of the union that essentially if his side doesn't win, then the election was rigged. He said that before the 2020 election. He's asked for voter rolls for 29 different states.
Starting point is 00:45:46 He just asked for Detroit's votes or ballots. And we know that in 2020, he wrote an executive order that he didn't sign that said to the U.S. military, to the Secretary of Defense, you should go and seize ballots and voting machines. A few months ago, he said that he regretted that he ever, that he didn't sign that executive order. So the U.S. military has never been deployed. You miscorrectly, incorrectly said yesterday that they were deployed during different elections. Governors deployed them under their authorities, but the federal government has never put the uniformed military at our polls during World War II right after 9-11. We've never had to do that. So Secretary Hegsef, if the president, who regrets not signing that executive order to the then-Sect-Deft in 2020,
Starting point is 00:46:40 asks you to seize ballots or voting machines in states during the 2026 election, will you stand up for the Constitution and say no, or will you salute and do his bidding? Senator, I didn't get a chance to answer the front part of your question, which, you know, there was a lot of deferred maintenance on the Biden administration that needed to be addressed because the world was in chaos when President Trump was elected. Just address the election issue, please. Biden. It was Biden.
Starting point is 00:47:10 God damn it was Biden with his little hammer. Well, again, that's the most important thing. It's what's happening. It's yet another gotcha hypothetical, which is your specialty. It's not that we had an executive order under the Biden administration in 2024. It's not a hypothetical. I refuse to accept. You give that answer all the time.
Starting point is 00:47:31 You and I have done this dance before. Get over it. Okay. In 2020, he's the president, your boss, the guy you're performing for right now, told the journalist this year. that he wished he signed that executive order to your predecessor. And your predecessor said publicly, thank God, we didn't actually go forward with it. What are you going to do?
Starting point is 00:47:51 You're the guy here in the seat. It's not hypothetical. Tell the American people, will you deploy the uniform military to our polls to collect voter rolls or machines? Are you accusing me of performing because you're performing for cable news right now? But Mr. Secretary, we have a hyper. Dude, it's just, oh, God. She called him dude. Pathetical.
Starting point is 00:48:16 By the way, in 2024, under the Biden administration, 15 states did deploy. Under their governor's authority, when their governors asked for it. What did Joe Biden say about that? That's fundamentally, I don't think anything, because he needed them for cybersecurity and for COVID. Trump did it too under Trump. But it was not the federal decision. It was those governors of the states under their authorities, okay? It's never been done in our history.
Starting point is 00:48:38 Please stand up for the Constitution. Do not send uniform military to our people. polls. Do you have a response to that portion of the question, Mr. Secretary? I've never been ordered to do anything illegal, and I won't. That goes without. Well, that's perjury. He was ordered to wage war on Iran.
Starting point is 00:49:01 He was ordered to dump missiles on a girl's school and murder little Iranian girls. Those were both illegal. oh my goodness gracious you know who said this to me yesterday i can't recall but apparently the was it you monica
Starting point is 00:49:24 the gas station in milan it's now a mcdonalds well if they got a lamp post you know what's saying thank you for the answer Senator Duckworth you're now dude
Starting point is 00:49:43 just to answer the question and did you know he was slow to pick up on the performing allegation? Yeah. Oh, and by the way, Steve, in New York, get out of my mind. I do that because I was so close to saying that. Sometimes you feel like a nut. Sometimes you don't. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:15 It was going through my brain, and then, There it was in my email. And thank you, Tom, in Sunny San Rafael. Thank you very kindly. Message, I got your message. The level of stupidity on display, and listen, you know, he might at one point, I mean, let him into Princeton, but then again, white, male, et cetera, goes a long way with your Ivy League admissions.
Starting point is 00:50:49 but he might have been an intelligent man at one point in time but conservatism and more particularly magatory is very okay got it my like I understand now well it rot your brain it's bad it's bad for your thinking skills and you know he hates being upbraided by a girl.
Starting point is 00:51:34 Right? Sure. And, well, Elizabeth Warren is not one to be trifled with, and she brought facts and receipts. And, well, it was kind of a Shakespearean moment when you get right down to it. Oh, and by the way, going back to the Secret Service for a moment, the Camel Cardinal, Brother Deaconas, says, Secret Service did a great job.
Starting point is 00:52:10 If they did such a great job, then how come they evacuated the Jade Egg before they got Julius Sleezer out of there? Were they trying to send a message? And where was the Usha while we're at it? Oh, Brother Deacon, you do enjoy those AI-derived pitches for guests on the program. That's... Yeah, that's rich. Write him right back.
Starting point is 00:52:46 Asa. with my compliments. Ah, I see. Micah says, yeah, it was me. I was referring to Donnie's love of McDonald's. Okay. Take it away, Elizabeth Warren. See how long it takes to raise the DUI higher's blood pressure.
Starting point is 00:53:08 Thank you, Senator Schmidt. Senator King, do you wish to ask unanimous consent to include your exhibit in the record? Yes, please. Without objection, that will be done. Senator Warren. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. So Americans are paying a high price for Donald Trump's war with Iran. We've got 14 service members who are dead, over 400 more, who are wounded.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Prices are rising for nearly every American family. But someone is profiting off Trump's war, insiders who know what's going on and who place bets on that inside information. On March 23rd, just 14 minutes before Trump unexpectedly post. about, quote, very good conversations on ending the war, traders suddenly bet $500 million on the price of oil, which, once Trump made his announcement, immediately dropped. It happened again on April 7th and then again on April 21st, a surge in oil bets, then a Trump post, and then a huge shift in oil prices in just the space of minutes.
Starting point is 00:54:21 It looks like insiders have been making out like bandits using secret information about the war. Now, one U.S. soldier has been charged, but that was for betting on capturing Maduro months ago. Not a single person has been charged in the many, many, many trades over the Middle East War. So Secretary Hagseth, do you have any explanation for these perfectly timed, spikes in trading activity other than insider trading? Senator, all I can tell you is that everything we've done in our department, everything we've done with information in working with the White House and across the interagency has been completely above board.
Starting point is 00:55:08 Well, so what does it mean? Do you have any other explanation other than insider trading? Do you have a story for why just minutes before there's an announcement there's a surge in trading activity? Senator, I'm more than focused on doing my job and ensuring we execute properly, which thankfully under this administration, our troops have done incredible things in all these missions. My job, in all of those moments, is to make sure we're prepared. And that's part of the reason why we've been so successful in these raids, in these efforts,
Starting point is 00:55:41 is that this joint force is prepared. You're saying you're not paying any attention to this insider trading. Is that what you're telling me, that you've paid no attention to this? You haven't noticed it. You haven't done anything about it? What I'm saying is we're focused on our mission of executing for the American people, and what happens in markets is not, embedding markets is not something we're involved in. What happens in betting markets doesn't matter to you,
Starting point is 00:56:03 even if the information may be coming from insiders in your office? Senator, it's not something we're involved in at all. And, of course, we take operational security at every level very seriously. In fact, no one's taking operational security. Anybody? Seriously than us. If you look at what it required to keep secret Midnight Hammer and Operation Maduro, the absolute resolve with Maduro, and the steps we've taken, no one's been tighter about ensuring that
Starting point is 00:56:31 operational security is insured. Have you taken any steps to deal with insider trading out of your office? I mean, we would ensure at every level that inside information is properly safeguard. All right. Well, obviously you're not. I'm also concerned about recent reporting on your own financial dealings with regard to profiting from the war in Iran. The Financial Times reported that your broker tried to buy hundreds of shares in a Black Rock
Starting point is 00:57:00 Fund invested in defense companies just before the war began. The law clearly prohibits the Secretary. That entire story is false, has been from the beginning and was made up out a whole cloth. And anybody that looks at it sees how it was worded from the beginning to make it look like I was involved in something I had nothing to do and never have. So any insinuation that I've ever profited other than serving this nation, what I give, what you give, what others give, I'm not looking for money. I don't do it for money. I don't do it for profit. I don't do it for stocks. And that's part of the reason I'm able to be effective in this job. Because no one owns me.
Starting point is 00:57:33 No one owns this department. No one owns this president. And we can execute for the American people. No one owns him? there's a certain Idaho evil, gelical, misogynistic, racist asshole preacher who might beg to differ. We do. The law clearly prohibits the Secretary of Defense from owning stock in the ten biggest defense contractors. Other senators and I sent you a letter with detailed questions about this, and you have not given us a response. So I'd like to hear you say, did you, through your broker at Morgan Stanley or otherwise, seek to invest in any defense-related funds right before Trump started the Iran war?
Starting point is 00:58:25 I'll give it to you as a big, fat, negative. Then let me ask you a second question. Is your broker getting your personal sign-off on any investment in individual stocks? Bigger, fatter, negative? who's not getting your sign off before he makes investments in defense stocks. Can I refer you to your ethics agreement? I am asking, does he know that he has to get your sign off before he does that? Of course. I don't know what you're looking for, but you're going to find it.
Starting point is 00:58:57 Thank you. Thank you, Senator. I would like to enter into the record, the ethics agreement, that the Secretary of Defense has signed, that he will sign off personally before his broker. makes any attempt to buy defense stocks is there objection thank you without objection it will be admitted uh senator it's gone that that that that that i got a feeling that might come back to haught him but you know sitting right next to senator warren was senator king of main and he's been known to quote some classical history from time to time uh all that all that
Starting point is 00:59:38 fulminating and all that pontificating. It's a big fat no. It's an even bigger, fatter no. Wow. Methinks he doth to protest too much. Do we have a little Shakespeare here and there? Just to help, you know, kind of educate the public. The entire story's false.
Starting point is 01:00:03 It's not true. Uh-huh. You sure. It was a merry day there in the Senate. What a crook. And after, in another, in another clip, I'm not ashamed to be a Christian. Okay. Well, he's also not ashamed to use anti-Semitic languages, language.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Senator Jackie Rosen, a Democrat from Nevada, called him out on the use of a particularly odious reference. Mr. Secretary, you compare journalists, you compare us, you compare so many to Pharisees. Pharisees. It's a problematic and historically weaponized term that cast Jewish communities as hypocritical or morally corrupt. You doubled down again and said it. Words matter. Words matter.
Starting point is 01:01:39 What you choose to say, how we choose to say, How do you justify using this language as Secretary of Defense? Words a matter, it's a historically hurtful term. Why do you continue to use it? And what actions are you taking to prevent rhetoric like this from permeating throughout the department that is going to target? Presenting, he's encouraging. ...of people based on their religion.
Starting point is 01:02:05 Senator, I feel like it's a pretty accurate term for folks who don't see the plank in their own eye and always want to see what's wrong with an operation as opposed to the history. historic success of preventing Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. So I stand by it. You stand by calling people Pharisees. Sir, I cannot, I cannot stand for that. That is wrong. It is not respectful to people. And I expect anyone who is in leadership in our country to be respectful and use respectful terms and not be an anti-Semite. Ooh. She took her little nameplate off of the dais and slammed it on the desk.
Starting point is 01:02:58 Cag breath. Jeremy says, you can almost hear, I'm not a rapist, Rapido, I don't like little girls. Yeah. Also, keg breath. He really wanted to say about why they do it, to quote Trace Atkins, we don't do it for the money, we don't do it for the fame, we do it for the boncadonca don't.
Starting point is 01:03:19 which he's done with three separate wives. Ooh. Badonka donk. God damn it, Jeremy. And insider trading, Brother Deacon Asa says, Madam Senator, you haven't discovered anything groundbreaking. They advertise their attack plans on fucking WhatsApp group chats beforehand. Half of Russia is insider trading on Merca's next move.
Starting point is 01:03:50 I would not be in the least bit surprised, Camel Cardinal. from Lee in New York insider trades, bets Kegbreath does not know how they received the signal. Ooh, yeah. Because, yeah, he's an ultra secret squirrel. And by the way, Michael asking a few good men, do you think Kegbreath watched a few good men before the hearing? I really want to see someone scream,
Starting point is 01:04:19 You can't handle that truth. If only it was like that, not a bad comedy like we currently have. have Pharisees? What's next? Which slur is next? I stand by my words in the name of Jesus.
Starting point is 01:04:50 And of course yesterday no, yeah, today, today. In the Senate Armed Services Committee, led by Roger Wicker of Mozlopic,
Starting point is 01:05:16 a protester did interrupt the proceedings with a factual statement. Real muscle behind our warriors. Further interruptions of our hearing will be treated in like manner. We appreciate. You're a war criminal. I wonder what happens if somebody. Let's just remember the DOJ got to feel an all froggy and butcher earlier.
Starting point is 01:06:03 when they announced that they're going to add firing squads back. Again, what's the penalty for treason? Yeah, you're a war criminal. Yes, you are. Oh, yes, you are. Whiskey Pete. And lots of women were mean to him, and his... His...
Starting point is 01:06:44 His... Well, let's just say he probably... I probably had to snort an extra rail or two of Viagra just to get over being dressed down by inferior beings. I'm concerned about is we are not safer, and I would just like to know why you have not sought the support of the American people, and three out of five Americans are against this war today. I believe we do have the support of the American people, and we have briefed regularly what this mission looks like and why it's critically important that we undertake it. And I would remind you and this group that we're two months in to an effort. And many congressional Democrats, as I pointed out, want to declare defeat two months in.
Starting point is 01:07:29 Iraq took how many years? Afghanistan took how many years? And they were nebulous missions that people went along with. And we lost those two. This is a defined mission set that we have had great success in pursuing against the determined enemy who seeks nuclear weapons. And I'm proud of the opportunity to remind the American people because they believe in it as well. They can't have it. You don't care whether the American people support this war.
Starting point is 01:07:53 The American people are quite smart. They understand and see through spin. They know that a regime that says death to America that seeks nuclear weapons and the ability to deliver us. Did they lie about the range of their missiles? How much more? I saw a 4,000 kilometer missile get shot at. How much more will you ask American people to pay for this war? Right now, do you want it a billion dollars a day?
Starting point is 01:08:12 Do you want $2 billion a day? You're asking for $200 billion more to fund this war and to make sure we have what we for $200 billion. I don't know where you got that number from, Senator. I think you got it from the news, which you should be careful what you read in the news. Okay, Mr. And take that, little lady.
Starting point is 01:08:32 That's a problem with letting the women folk learn to read. Jesus, what an embarrassment. Did you ever think that you'd look back and think that, well, you know, maybe Donald Rumfield wasn't such a bad secretary of defense after all. and that's the asshole who blathered on about how you don't go to war with the army you want you go to the war with the army you got and of course theater and then then there's senator jack reed of rhode island doing charlene proud she's got two good senators i'm jealous Reid. And he's not a he's not an in-your-face kind of guy, but he gets his point across.
Starting point is 01:10:09 Senators are just now beginning their questioning of Defense Secretary Pete Hegeseth and Joint Chiefs Chair, General Dan Kane. You can see Jack Reed, the ranking member, is currently asking his questions. Let's listen. As I did then, and I'll say now, we thank General George for his service. And out of respect to him and other officers, we never talk about the nature of why certain officers are asked to step down. But we all serve at the pleasure of the president. And ultimately, my view... Yeah, we never talk about that because it would be awfully embarrassing
Starting point is 01:10:42 and overtly racist to say, wow, you know, because he's black, because that's the answer. In coming into this department, as I stated in my confirmation hearing, was to change the culture of the department. And it's ultimately challenging to change the type department, the culture of a department with, the same people who are a part of or in that department. So I have made many changes with general officers.
Starting point is 01:11:08 We will continue to make changes as necessary with general officers, and they will be in keeping with the trajectory of where we would like to take the department, but it doesn't take away from the service of those, and I think you will note that every officer that's been asked to leave has been treated with respect. Interesting. Of the two dozen officers that you have fired for reasons, unrelated to performance, since you have not indicated any course, 60% are black or females. Now, did the president direct you to single out female and black offices to be dismissed?
Starting point is 01:11:49 Senator, of course not. And as we've emphasized at this department from the beginning, the only metric is merit. This, members on this committee and the previous leadership of this department were focused on high, you know, social engineering, race and gender in ways that we think we're unhealthy for the department focusing on those. Yeah, you know, because having the women folk in their fighting, that's just no bueno. Or, you know, both people. Things, making decisions based on those things. In President Trump's War Department, we make decisions based on only one thing, merit.
Starting point is 01:12:28 And that's how we've made decisions going forward. That's how we've made them, and that's how we'll make them going forward. Well, let me go back to General George. what did he fail in terms of his lack of merit to continue serving? As I've said, I don't talk about the nature of dismissal out of respect for these officers. But ultimately, we want to take the department in a particular direction, certain services in a particular direction, and we want leadership that's running as fast in that direction as possible. And in some cases, we make changes accordingly, but do so out of respect to those officers.
Starting point is 01:13:00 Well, I think that direction from your behavior is an intense interest in Christianity, in nationalism, and in not recognizing the talents of women and non-white gentlemen, and that's the wrong direction. I don't know what you're insinuating, Senator, but I am not ashamed of my faith in Jesus Christ. Well, you shouldn't be ashamed. And if you want to shame me for it, go ahead. I'm not shaming you, but are you critical of other faith? I am a believer. I'm quite open in that, and our department allows for a multitude of faith.
Starting point is 01:13:42 So I don't know what you're suggesting. I've heard the likes of things that people like you suggest to try to smear my character, and I won't give into it. No. I'm sorry, Mr. Secretary, but broadcasting before the national religious broadcasters, stressing the need for more Christianity in the military forces doesn't seem like a neutral position in which you tolerate and accept all religions. Let me move on. Yeah, no, it doesn't. I'm not ashamed of Jesus. I'm not ashamed at all. I'm proud of my faith. I'm proud of my preacher who says women shouldn't be able to vote or be in the military
Starting point is 01:14:32 who need to stay silent? I'm proud of my faith in that, Jesus Christ. Hey. Yeah. And a note from Balmer Bob. Gentle reminder for tomorrow, the 60-day deadline for President Trump's unauthorized war in
Starting point is 01:15:00 Iran under the War Powers Act expires on May 1, 2026. Following the March 2nd notification of hostilities, the law requires the withdrawal of troops unless Congress authorizes continued action or a 30-day extension is enacted. As Susan Collins noted
Starting point is 01:15:16 Congress must act and she will get right down there on her knees and polish knit with Niro's shoes with her tongue. I'm absolutely convinced. Which kind of brings us back to
Starting point is 01:15:33 Graham Platner. Now make no mistake I want Susan Collins out of the Senate. I don't know if Graham Platner is the guy to do it. And the oppo research, like I said, is going to be absolutely devastating.
Starting point is 01:16:11 Because he's going to have to do a lot of explaining. And as turdblossom, you know, turdblossom, you know, Tirdblossom, Carl Rove once noted, if you're explaining, you're losing. And he has a lot of explaining to do. Great heavenly days he does. And the thing is, this stuff's been out there for a while, and it's not good stuff.
Starting point is 01:17:16 He's been trying, Graham Platner has, to cast himself in the same light as Zoran Mondani. He is not Zoran Mamdani by any stretch of the imagination. Oh, no. In fact, he has a past. And that past includes
Starting point is 01:17:44 palling around, if you recall that phrase, palling around with white supremacists and, well, anti-Semites and, arguably Nazis it's it's it's bad I'm scrolling to find the post in question
Starting point is 01:18:31 take me a second I apology I apologize this individual posts a lot gotta be getting close maybe I blazed past it oh man just solved the problem yeah here we go again grand Platner
Starting point is 01:21:02 and again this post goes back a couple of months but Platner faced blowback this week for boosting a social media comment about a looming war with Iran by stupiders. We've played clips by stupiders. A neo-Nazi influencer who has frequently espoused
Starting point is 01:21:25 anti-Semitic tropes and engaged in Holocaust denial. Platner's team said the post was made in error and immediately, ahem, removed it after learning it elevated a despicable account. Well, okay. Oh, wait. Late January, though,
Starting point is 01:21:44 Graham Platner sat for a lengthy online interview with Nate Kornakia, a retired Green Beret, who's also promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. Near the end of their hour-long conversation, Platner, a fellow military veteran called himself a long-time fan of Kornakia's YouTube channel, which is called Valhalla VFT, and said it was an absolute pleasure being on the show. So let's check out this clip I mean It's just terrible But Well He just doesn't know
Starting point is 01:22:29 I mean He doesn't realize He's actually Talking with Nazis I mean It's hard to tell in America Right We were cooking
Starting point is 01:22:37 And we also have So much more to cover We do Yeah we were just getting started But I just got a I just got the nod So You got the nod
Starting point is 01:22:47 No you're good brother Hey, so we will make sure we'll get you back on whenever you want to come on in for the next couple weeks or a month or so. And we definitely have more to talk about. Thank you so much for coming on, man. I mean, as a long time fan of the show, it's an absolute pleasure being here. I appreciate you. At some point, we're actually going to have to talk about guns and shooting because that's a whole other thing. We were literally, well, we were going to get into the 2A section was the next section where we were cooking.
Starting point is 01:23:14 Yeah, yeah, we were going to get it. Yeah. Oh, yeah, that's the aforementioned Nate Kornakia, who's another anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist. And this Kornakia guy, look, on any given evening, I'm more than happy to hammer a fascist piece of filth like B.B. Netting Yahoo, I'm M.Givir, or Beelzeb. Bub Smotrich, and we do so with facts. It has nothing to do with being Jewish. It has everything to do with being a fascist. And this clown, Kornakia, has something around a half a million YouTube subscribers.
Starting point is 01:24:27 And guess what? They're not progressives. They're not liberals. They're Nazis. and Holocaust deniers I had great hopes for Janet Mills I really really did but she pulled out today
Starting point is 01:25:02 suspended her campaign for want of money because people are sick of Susan Cummins but this guy even if it turns out it was all in error and you know he's just a political nob and he didn't know he was talking to Nazis
Starting point is 01:25:33 and running around with the anti-Semitic holocaust deniers and rubbing elbows and hoisting beers with them or whatever. That was an innocent mistake. Well, what does it say that, oh, never mind. Never mind. But Robin, Jeremy says, Brown, Jesus openly talked about a four-letter F word off and, you know, figs.
Starting point is 01:26:13 Fig trees, and I love figs. I was thinking the other day it would be nice to get a couple of fig trees here. I love fresh raw figs. I just do. I respected Janet Mills because she looked nitwit Nero right in the eye and said, See you in court. He didn't intimidate her. He didn't scare her.
Starting point is 01:26:49 But the new guy with the covered-up Nazi tattoo who pals around with Nazis, well, he's new and shiny and different. Micah says, an awful lot of smoke for no fire, this guy could absolutely destroy what's left of the Dem's credibility. Yeah. I'm hoping against hope that Micah's wrong and that I too am wrong. And I don't know if, well, I think Whiskey Pete is probably going to be one of the last to go. if in fact he does go because, well, he's macho and butch and white and male, and he's a Fox News TV star, and that matters a whole lot to President Mike TV from Willie Wonka.
Starting point is 01:28:15 And lo and behold, yeah, I know. Plattner, Flavio says, we all thought John Fetterman was a progressive. Look how that turned out. Eye roll. Yeah. And that's what I'm saying. Platner may make Federman look like Zoran Mondani. But we have yet another talking head from the Fox TV couch
Starting point is 01:28:47 who has gotten a nod from Julius Gieser. Nicole B. Safier, Severe, I don't know, S-A-P-H-I-E-R, shows up frequent. on Fox News TV Radio Rwanda and she's radiant, a honey blonde. And now she's going to be the nominee for Surgeon General of the United States. Nitwit Niro calling her earlier
Starting point is 01:29:23 a star physician. That's because he pulled the nomination of his previous clown, a public health influencer, Dr. Casey Means, who absolutely refused to state that vaccines should be given to kids.
Starting point is 01:30:01 She got a confirmation hearing. Dr. Means did. But she didn't get a vote. Because among other things, she didn't have a medical license, for starters. And she also, I remember we covered this, she refused to disclose the financial ties with the brands that she was influencing and promoting on social media. Newt Witt Nero said today that the current nominee was recommended to him by the guy who enjoys raccoon penises. No, really.
Starting point is 01:31:15 and in fact she's even she was even a frequent guest on fox weekends fox and fiends weekends and guess who hosted that from 2017 to late two thousand twenty four that's right whiskey pete kegbreath and in fact she defended whiskey pete against the allegations of him being drunk on the set and a drunk in general i routinely sadd on the couch with him for nearly a decade and never witnessed unprofessional behavior. Well, that's easy to do when you're not when you're looking away from it. Trump, nitwit Nero, for his part, said, She spent her career guiding women facing breast cancer through their diagnosis and treatment while tirelessly advocating to increase early cancer direct detection and prevention, while at the same time working with men,
Starting point is 01:32:27 and women on all other forms of cancer diagnoses and treatments. Sure. So that should be an enjoyable confirmation hearing. I do want to go back to something that happened yesterday during Whiskey Pete's star turned in front of the House. He got into it with Representative Pat Ryan, a New York Democrat, who also happens to have graduated West Point, something Whiskey Pete never did. and is an Iraq war combat veteran. And he wanted to know about the... He actually cared about the military personnel who were wounded in the attack on Port Shueba in Kuwait
Starting point is 01:33:25 that killed six Americans and wounded it more than 30. One gets the idea that Congressman Ryan is not to be fucked with on this topic. It does bother me that our footprint has gotten... so much smaller over there, but I do know withdrawals and other things that makes it much more difficult to have those outposts. But I appreciate all of you being here. Sorry that I have not been here. No, sure. Appreciate the other work. Gentlemen, yield's back. Chair and I recognize the gentleman from New York, Mr. Ryan. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Head wounds, heavy bleeding, and then just shrapnel all over. So folks are bleeding from their abdomen, bleeding from arms, bleeding from
Starting point is 01:34:10 legs. Secretary Heggseth, do you know who said that? I'm not sure I do. It was one of our soldiers describing the devastating Iranian drone strike at Port Shweba, March 1st in Kuwait. As you know, six of our soldiers killed over 30 wounded. He may not. Secretary, do you know the range of the Shahed-136 one-way attack drone approximately? It depends on the variant, but it's got serious distance. Several hundred miles.
Starting point is 01:34:39 Do you know how far Port Shueba is from Iran? There's a reason why we took extreme measures for protection because we understood the proximity challenges. Mr. Chairman, reclaim my time. It's well under 100 miles. Before the war started, there was clear intelligence that Shueba was high on Iran's target list. Internal analysis had said the site was indefensible from aerial attack and should not be used. yet you sent our soldiers from the 103rd Sustainment Command there anyway. Is that true or false?
Starting point is 01:35:13 True or false? Straightforward question. Are you going to give me a chance to answer or just play gotcha? Did you send them there or not? I always, we took proactive measures from the beginning to ensure force protection and defensive posture would maximize across the theater. Let's talk about what defenses they had. Prior to the attack, officers on the ground knew our troops were vulnerable. In fact, they requested additional force protection.
Starting point is 01:35:38 Did they receive it? Wherever humanly possible, force protection and counter-UAS was always made available. They did not. In fact, when asked to describe the base's defense, one survivor who's come forward from the unit said, quote, I mean, I would put it in the none category from a drone defense capability, none. So let's be clear, no counter drone capabilities, no counter-rocket systems. And by the way, when he turns profile, you can tell when Whiskey Pete is having a bad day because he gutched that chin out and starts looking like the love child of an exomorph and, you know, beavus.
Starting point is 01:36:20 No countermortar or counter-artillery. Not even the basic overhead protection that you and I had 20 years ago in Iraq, and now six of our soldiers are dead. The next day, you damn. downplayed the attack. You said it was a squirder that squeaked through fortified defenses. But since then, thankfully, brave survivors have come forward to set the record straight. One of our surviving soldiers told CBS, quote,
Starting point is 01:36:58 painting a picture that one squeaked through is a falsehood. Another said the unit was, quote, unprepared to provide any defense for itself. It was not a fortified position. Another survivor said the building's protection was about as weak as one gets. Secretary Hegeseth, that is obviously in direct contradiction to what you said from the Pentagon podium the next day. So are you saying that these soldiers, our soldiers who survived this horrific attack are lying? What I'm saying is before the commencement of the conflict, we put in maximum defensive posture. we could. That's a direct conversation. In this directing, can I speak or are you just going to monologue
Starting point is 01:37:49 falsehoods all over the place? It's not a falsehood. We moved 7,500 troops off of the X based on the intel. Stop. Based on the intel. Stop. Reclaiming my time. Because you yell doesn't make you right. Just because you yell doesn't make you right. I'm be claiming my time on behalf of these survivors. You just said what they said is a falsehood. There's a much larger picture. There's a much larger picture at play here that included integrated air defenses, and bunkers, moving people off the X. Then why, Mr. Secretary, are they in sure that they were not part of the target. We moved those troops and all across the theater, thousands of troops off the X, off of their bases,
Starting point is 01:38:23 because we knew what Iran was going to try to strike. We knew there was a tragic moment. No answer, Mr. Secretary. Again. Of course, that's the consequence of conflict. And we remember those six every single day. I want to finish. But don't play games with.
Starting point is 01:38:36 I'm not playing games. I want to finish with one more quote from a survivor of the attack. And I'm on the record. telling the truth is important. And we're not going to learn from these mistakes if we pretend these mistakes didn't happen. Secretary Hex-F, those soldiers hold the truth. Those soldiers are braver than you are. They are asking for accountability.
Starting point is 01:39:00 They deserve accountability. And I'm asking for the same, starting with you. And as I said a year ago, you need to resign immediately. I commend those soldiers. And I yield back. Gentleman yields back. You're not recognized as you. There was a reason I saved that from yesterday.
Starting point is 01:39:22 That was powerful. And you can tell, you know, it's on a split screen for me. But you can tell who the one who actually cares about the troops is. Hint, it ain't the secretary of defense. And he nailed him every time keg breath opened his mouth. That's nauseating to contemplate, isn't it? Literally, Whiskey Pete. and his salute snappers, including General Raisin, who is sitting right there next to him, by the way,
Starting point is 01:40:21 hung those oath-sworn soldiers out to dry, left them naked and unprotected, and good on Pat Ryan for calling on him to resign, and for calling him a liar. Oh, and from Bulmer Bob, test for Graham Platner. psychologists actually devised a test to discern racism. Psychologists primarily use the implicit association test to measure unconscious automatic biases, racism, bigotry, and stereotypes that people may not consciously know they hold. The test assesses how quickly individuals associate social groups, e.g. black or white faces with positive or negative concepts. Well, I don't know if this is an unfair question, but when you voluntarily have Nazi and Nazi institutions, insignia tattooed into your hide and you wear it for years and years and years proudly until you
Starting point is 01:41:47 actually get caught with it and then you platform and praise anti-Semitic content creators and elevate their voices I don't need I don't know I don't know Bob if we actually need to go to something go to something as scientific as the implicit association test. But I get your point, and he'll never sit for one. Oh, and speaking of non-denial denials, similar to that of Whiskey Pete. Well, earlier today,
Starting point is 01:42:39 Dana Peronil sat down over to the Fox News TV Radio Rwanda set, with none other than the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, namely, wine box Janine. And she asked the question that we were talking about earlier. Did Cole Allen shoot a secret service agent? Hmm. I wonder. Because, again, magic bullets.
Starting point is 01:43:23 officer who was shot at the event. Federal law enforcement sources tell Fox that the officer was hit by gunfire from the suspect. It was not friendly fire. So joining us now is Janine Piro. She's the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia. Janine, it's great to see you. But more could you tell us about this revelation that the officer was indeed shot by the gun? Do you know if Cole Allen fired it or if it discharged accidentally?
Starting point is 01:43:51 Well, I don't think there's any question but that. Good God. That fox attack blonde, whomever she is. It really took the English language out back behind the barn and took the axe handle to it. Oh, check that out again. There's some passive voice in there and some misdirection. For the District of Columbia, Janine, it's great to see you. Good to see you.
Starting point is 01:44:23 But more could you tell us about this revelation that the officer was indeed shot by the gun? Do you know if Cole Allen fired it or if it discharged accidentally? Well, I don't think there's any question but that Cole Allen was intending to fire that Mossburg. And what we do know is that he fired off that. That's critical there. What we do know is he was intending. There's no intent requirement in the statute. Joyce Allen pointed that out in what she said on my former Filthy Morning House.
Starting point is 01:45:00 12-gauge shotgun one time. The cartridge was still in the weapon. He fired that gun in the direction of the Secret Service officer. And what we do know is that the Secret Service officer fired his weapon five times. And we know that based on the number of the bullets that were left in the weapon, we know it based on the fact that we found five areas consistent with being hit by a 9 millimeter. And we also know it is a... Aha, see, that's what I said earlier, consistent with being hit by nine millimeters don't look like double up buck. Result of the fact that there were so many holes in the area that we knew were hit by that 9mm. So the Secret Service agent didn't... Wait, wait, wait, wait, hold up. There were so many holes in that area that we knew were hit by that 9mm that only fired five, five rounds that they know because of the number of rounds
Starting point is 01:46:03 remaining in the gun? It's a semi-automatic pistol. Wine box? If five rounds were fired, if he fired five rounds, fucking passive voice, if he fired five rounds,
Starting point is 01:46:20 there should be five come on. Shell casings, Janine. Yeah? Not shoot himself. And you've got Cole Allen going there, shooting off one round. And I don't think there's any question of what happened here.
Starting point is 01:46:38 We're waiting for the official ballistics test, but at the same time, we filed papers in court this morning for the detention hearing today, indicating that this death was calculated. He was premeditated. He had every intention of killing the president and anyone who got in his way. And I love the Fox News attack one. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That detention hearing was something. He didn't show himself. Sure, Wine Box.
Starting point is 01:47:20 There's, well... Then there's the matter of the detention hearing. The detention hearing for Cole Allen was held before U.S. magistrate judge Moxula A. Upadjaya, and according to people, serving the proceedings. The,
Starting point is 01:47:52 well, juice box Janine's pettifoggers pissed the magistrate off. In the hearing, Allen's lawyer said, listen, we know he's going to be held without
Starting point is 01:48:12 bail. In a situation like that, the judge typically says, okay then, bail and it's over. But instead, because, again, performing for an audience of one, Janine's petty foggers said that they wanted to go ahead and make their detention argument even though it was moot.
Starting point is 01:48:58 Kyle Cheney at Politico said prosecutors don't typically make a habit of asking to argue a motion that their adversaries have conceded. Yeah, it's dumb. It's a waste of... judicial time. And over at News Nation, well, Jackie Cople said the government will
Starting point is 01:49:22 have to submit the same info in future hearings, so why submit information now and then? It's inefficient. Defense says they only received exhibits only an hour ago. If court wants to move forward with the detention hearing, they would want a continuance. And the magistrate said,
Starting point is 01:49:38 it's truly unprecedented. They don't even realize what a potential for a fuck-up that is. by braying and grunting at this detention hearing, they're married to it when they haven't even developed all the evidence. Talk about a gang that couldn't shoot straight, Sylvie. Yeah. Thank God they're the fuck-ups that they are, I guess. And of course, as I said beginning on Monday, they're screwing up left and right, all the way to right to nitwit near as saying, He was a sick man, a very sick man.
Starting point is 01:50:55 Okay. The president of the United States says that he was mentally ill. Off to St. Elizabeth's with him. Clowns. Toxic, dangerous clowns. And, well, oh, by the way, we're coming up on the third hour of the program. Last I checked, this is a conversation radio program. if you've got something you'd like to add to the conversation,
Starting point is 01:51:48 I welcome it. Because, well, you know how I feel. I think the conversation is the best part of the process. What else? Something we've been keeping track of is the... Oh, that's interesting. Micah just told me... States are already moving to postpone primaries, Tennessee and Georgia.
Starting point is 01:53:03 Guess why? Because they want to read... district. They want to re-jerrymander their states because of the recent gutting of the civil rights in the Voting Rights Act. The Voting Rights Act, Section 2.
Starting point is 01:53:31 Can Mississippi and Alabama be far behind? Hell. Well, we don't have to worry about doing it in West Virginia because we don't have any actual well we got a couple of democrats in the in the house and the Senate not very many
Starting point is 01:53:59 they might waste the time and the money it takes to gerrymander the state to get rid of those few precious few Democrats Colin thank you very much oh thank you so much we're so close to being and Colin just took us closer.
Starting point is 01:54:35 32, 1889. Thank you. 289 or 21889 and we're fully funded as we end the month of April. We're fully funded for half of April. Thank you, Colin, so very much. So, so much. And interestingly, at least one maggot senator, and of course she's on her way out,
Starting point is 01:55:17 Joni Ernst, Iowa's most famous Hogdeeballer, is Quentin. But she had a problem with Whiskey Pete ditching the Army Chief of Staff because Whiskey Pete has a vendetta against the Army, among other branches, because they noted he was an actual domestic terror threat at one point. You could make the argument that really someone who had been designated by his own military as a domestic terror threat should never have been allowed anywhere near the leadership of the Pentagon. But, well, here we are. Right. Senator Ernst.
Starting point is 01:56:17 Thank you, Mr. Chair. And thank you, gentlemen, for being here today. I really do appreciate your time to be with us. Before I begin, some of my questions, I do want to start with something personal, and both to you, Secretary Hegseth and to the chairman. I want to thank you both. For the time that you take to recognize our fallen and those that have given, of course, during this administration, given they're all.
Starting point is 01:56:46 You have traveled to Dover and have been there to greet those families and a welcome home the fallen. I've been there with you, and Iowa has been hit in particular very hard. We lost two of our Iowa National Guardsmen from the Second Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Secretary Heggseth, you know full well, the 34th.
Starting point is 01:57:08 But we also lost six members from the 103rd Sustainment Command Expeditionary based out of Des Moines, Iowa during this current conflict. And again, presence there meant a lot to the family. Yes, that's so nice. But here's the thing.
Starting point is 01:57:31 Why were we, why, why did we send National Guardsmen and the reserves to this job? Was the regular army not up to the task? It also meant a lot to me. So thank you very much for taking the time to do that. Secretary Hegseth, you and I have had men. many discussions over the course of many months now regarding general officer positions. And, you know, I... And remember, Joni was reported to be kind of pissed because she actually wanted to be the Secretary of Defense.
Starting point is 01:58:21 But, you know, she's a woman. I believe that we were operating in good faith as we talked through a couple of those in particular, to Iowans, General Mingus and General Randy George. I was disappointed to see that their retirements were hastened over what I believed had been set out by you and the administration. So I just want to take the time to list out some of General Randy George's accomplishments as Army Chief of Staff. He pulled the Army out of its worst recruiting crisis since the Vietnam era.
Starting point is 01:59:00 exceeding fiscal year 2024 recruiting goals and welcoming more than 61,000 new soldiers. Recruitment numbers that both you and the president talk a lot about and rightfully so. He cut 5% of general officer positions, 12 positions that were deemed as non-essential in the Army, and he reduced the Army headquarters by 1,000 personnel. He co-authored the Army Transformation Initiative, which is a comprehensive response, aligned with your directives, and he testified here in front of Congress and took a lot of heat defending that Army transformation. He was suddenly let go at the beginning of April 26. General George's merits, which I firmly believe in, he enlisted at the age of 17. He is a West Point graduate.
Starting point is 01:59:54 He had four combat deployments. He served in Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He had 38 years of honorable service. He achieved the greatest Army recruitment and modernization effort in a generation. So I want to thank him for his service. And I would like to enter into the record, Mr. Chair, the speeches that I did honoring General Randy A. George on his retirement and General James J. Mingus on his retirement as well. Without objection, they'll be admitted. Thank you very much. I'd like to talk a little bit about the audit, Mr. Secretary.
Starting point is 02:00:37 I saw the video that you posted this week calling on the department to pass a clean audit, and thank you for doing that. It's something that we talked about during your confirmation hearing. Fiscal responsibility of the department has been a priority of mine for a very long time, and I think it's time that we build on that momentum. It's extremely important. And that's why I'm pushing for my receipts Act in this year's NDAA. It's focused on improving financial traceability and accountability across the department.
Starting point is 02:01:11 And if you could talk a little bit more about the efforts in making sure that we are being much more accountable to our taxpayers, what is that effort going to entail? When will we see a clean audit? As I said, Senator, thank you for your work on the audit that has, has been a priority of our department from day one. And we put in place goals and benchmarks to get to FY28, get to 28 for a clean audit. The Joint Task Force Audit, which we announced was a reflection of even more capabilities we want to push forward and centralize authority to make sure it happens. Jay's been involved from the beginning.
Starting point is 02:01:46 We also have a new IG who the new IG's focus, one of his focus points is precisely this. And he's prepared. Yes, his focus is on making, went Nero happy. Jesus. Well, that's as close as any Republican came to any sort of a dressing down for him shit-canning the Army Chief of Staff. Yet you'll notice she didn't actually criticize him for it, though. Oh, hell no.
Starting point is 02:02:24 No, no, no. Can't be doing that. And in one of the earlier clips, you might have heard Roger Wicker of Mississippi, recognize Tammy Duckworth. Well, her time with the DUI hire was not great, at least not for the DUI hire. To cover, and I want to start if I can, with a claim that Secretary Hegseth made about the 60-day deadline.
Starting point is 02:03:12 This is from MS now. Get congressional authorization for the war in. Iran, I want to play that exchange. Is the president intending to either seek congressional authorization for the war in Iran or send us the legally required certification that he needs an additional 30 days to remove U.S. forces from the war? Ultimately, I would defer to the White House and White House counsel on that. However, we are in a ceasefire right now, which our understanding means the 60-day clock
Starting point is 02:03:49 pauses or stops in a ceasefire. So you're not in. It's our understanding, just so you know. Okay, well, I do not believe the statute would support that. Senator, is it your understanding that the 60-day clock on the war powers resolution is currently stopped because of a ceasefire? And so, tomorrow, the president would not be required to seek congressional approval or end hostilities. Yeah, there's no stopping the clock.
Starting point is 02:04:15 He has a maximum of 60 days to come to Congress to justify the war. when he's supposed to provide us with evidence and proof of imminent danger, that, you know, we were going to come under attack imminently. The last day that he can do that is tomorrow. So this is a fake deadline that they've come up with by reading the law backwards. But this is what the Trump administration does, is they keep firing legal counsels until they get one who will say exactly what they want to say. And now, as we approach their fake 60-day deadline,
Starting point is 02:04:49 I'm imploring my Republican colleagues to stop abandoning their constitutional duty and finally join us in reigning in Trump's disastrous costly war. But no, there's no stopping of the clock. The statute says nothing about that. So could you be setting, could he be the president if he doesn't take those actions tomorrow, be setting up a constitutional class, class that could unfold over the next couple of weeks? Yes, very much so. And I'm outraged that Senate Republicans continue to see their constitutional authority.
Starting point is 02:05:19 to this war-mongering wannabe dictator of a president. I mean, he's held down on throwing our service members into needless danger, breaking every single promise he's made to the American people. And he's not taking care of business here at home. And now, you know, this is what they've got, their fake justification. And frankly, he's already spent, what, $25 billion at least. I think that's a low-ball number. And it's not helping Americans here at home.
Starting point is 02:05:45 There's another question that was raised by your colleague, Senator Macy Hirano, let me play that exchange. Did you order the review to support a potential decision to overturn the policy of having women and combat roles? We are laser-focused on standards. The highest male standard for every combat arms position should be the standard. And 10 years into this, we are reviewing it, which is what the American people would expect. Will you make the study public? Will you make that study?
Starting point is 02:06:17 Yes, or no. We're doing the study for that very reason. to ensure that real science is applied to this question and not social engineering like the previous administration. I want to expand on that because he said earlier, Senator Secretary Hagseth did. He accused Democrats on the committee and the previous Defense Department of being focused on, and I'm quoting him here, hype, social engineering, gender, race in ways we think, he says, were unhealthy for the department. You served in the reserve forces for 23 years before retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel. What's your reaction of that to that?
Starting point is 02:06:59 Well, Pete Hexed is an incompetent fool. He is a misogynist, and he's been trying to get rid of women's role in our military. He obviously must have lost out a promotion to a female service members at some point and is, you know, on a personal vendetta. But bottom line, in the testimony, he said, we are doing this to the highest male standard, as if there were only two standards in the military. And in fact, the physical fitness standards are actually graduated based on age as well. So a 40-year-old serviceman does not have to run the two miles as fast as an 18-year-old serviceman. So it is also differentiated by age as well as by gender. And frankly, you know, as someone who served in a combat arms branch, and I volunteered to
Starting point is 02:07:48 to serve in the first combat arms branch that actually accepted women into combat roles, which is as a helicopter pilot. You know, I know what the experience is. I know that our women who have met those standards have met the standards. They're doing their jobs. They are actually out there participating and taking care of the business at hand. And frankly, our nation's military could not go to war without its female service members. And yet, he has set this on this personal vendetta,
Starting point is 02:08:17 In fact, he's fired every female four-star general and tried to stop the additional promotion of two African-American women generals from getting additional stars. And that's why, you know, the former Army Chief of Staff quit. Let me ask you finally, some House Democrats' voice frustration after yesterday's hearing that they didn't get the answers they were looking for from the Secretary. Some even accused Heck Seth of lying. Your colleague, Senator Blumenthal, just said that he was surprised.
Starting point is 02:08:47 by the, quote, willful blindness and self-delusion coming out of that room. So if that is a majority opinion among Democrats and maybe even a Republican or two, is there anything you can do about this? Is there any real power in oversight, Senator? Well, this is where we take it to the American people who have the ultimate oversight, right? The American people can see that these folks are lying. Donald Trump said he's winning the war. Pete Heck said all day to day for the last three hours.
Starting point is 02:09:16 is talking about how well he's doing. He's not doing well. He's incompetent. Our military men and women, they're doing their jobs well. They always have been. They're highly trained, highly proficient professionals. But unfortunately, their civilian leadership in Pete Hexeth and Donald Trump are incompetent. They're burning billions of taxpayer dollars.
Starting point is 02:09:33 Americans are not better off. The Strait of Hormuz is now mined. We've taught Iran that they can charge a million dollars a ship to go through the Strait of Hormuz. Trump's illegal war of choice is forcing prices up and putting Americans in needless dangerous and it's already caused 13 service members their lives and injured hundreds more. That's not winning a war. And frankly, they continue to hide their incompetence behind the valor of our troops. You know, this is what this is all about.
Starting point is 02:10:00 And he continues to hype this up and they say whatever they want. But we know we have a liar for a president and obviously a liar for a secretary of defense as well. You left out the drunk part, Senator, but, well, nobody's perfect. has a way of catching up. It does. Perhaps one of the moments most anticipated today
Starting point is 02:10:39 was when Senator Mark Kelly, who sits on armed services, got his moment with whiskey peat. It was something to behold. This whole thing was just a shitstorm
Starting point is 02:11:16 of incompetence, prevarication and outright criminality on cake breath's part. Sorry I'm getting the next clip set up. Oh and it wasn't just Whiskey Pete that was on the hill today. So was Trash Patel and that deserves some attention as well but before we get to Senator Kelly I referenced a little bit ago Angus King
Starting point is 02:12:12 and while so much of this was focused on on Iran and all of that slees. Senator King remembered that there's still a war for the soul of democracy taking place in Ukraine. In this year, 25% of the budget is essentially out of the process and will be passed presumably through some kind of reconciliation, which is by definition a partisan exercise. Mr. Secretary, why not all those items, housing or Golden Dome, whatever, why aren't they in the regular budget? Why do we suddenly have a two-part budget where this committee and the Congress generally has oversight and input to a process where a quarter of the budget is essentially a slush fund?
Starting point is 02:13:10 Well, Senator, I appreciate the question. I wouldn't characterize a quarter of it as a slush fund, but I recognize that we see it as a, in totality as a $1.5 trillion budget. But why? Why is the separation? Why are the two pieces? Multiple vehicles. As you know, there are multiple dynamics that play into why there are multiple vehicles,
Starting point is 02:13:27 but we are fully committed with working to the committee to ensure the right vehicle. Jesus, that's the, that's the linguistic, multiple vehicles and multiple dynamics. And that's a breakfast of, I don't know, ground sausage and yogurt. Love them both, but they don't go well together. Vehicles are utilized to get precisely this amount, $1.5 trillion. You didn't answer my question. Why are there two pieces? Why not?
Starting point is 02:14:06 For time immemorial, we've done budgets here. To my knowledge, we've never used this reconciliation process for a defense budget before. What's going on? My understanding of the reason for the vehicles is to ensure we actually get to $1.5 trillion, which is the most important bottom line. The most important bottom line is that top line of $1.5 trillion to fund what we need, and we think this process is the most effective way to get their senator. Well, what you're really saying is we don't want to deal with that pesky Congress
Starting point is 02:14:37 and their appropriation process. I think this is significant, Mr. Chairman, that we're basically abdicating a court of our responsibility in terms of this budget. Let me move on. One of the factors of this budget that hasn't gotten any public, publicity is there's zero funding for Ukraine. That's correct, isn't it, Mr. Hurst? That's correct. There's no USAI funding in this budget. And there was 400 billion that was appropriated last year by a bipartisan bicameral act of Congress. What's become of that money?
Starting point is 02:15:12 My understanding is not a dollar of it has been dispersed. It was released very recently, and again, we got these funds, I believe, in March. And it takes times for funds to flow to the department, but it's going to get put to work very shortly. We're going to work the U-Com commander to make sure we use these funds in the most appropriate way possible. I didn't want Senator Sullivan to be the only one with an exhibit. This indicates what's happened to our support for Ukraine over a period of years. The orange bars are U.S. support. The blue bars are Europe. As you see, Europe is 99% in the year 2026. Same thing with humanitarian and another aid to Ukraine.
Starting point is 02:15:55 And yet this is, I believe, an existential struggle for the future of democracy where we had an aggressive country invade a neighboring country without any justification whatsoever. And by the way, that invading country is the major winner so far of the war in Iran. They've gotten, the estimates are $40 to $80 billion of additional revenues from oil and the relief of sanctions as a result of the war in Iran. Secretary Hedgeseth, why are we abandoning Ukraine? Senator, if you would hold that chart back up, I think that's a beautiful chart. I think that's exactly what we want. We want Europe stepping up and funding and shouldering the burden. They are rich countries worth $20 trillion versus economy of $2 trillion.
Starting point is 02:16:42 Europe can step up. Europe can fund it, and they have through our Pearl Initiative and through our European command. That's exactly what the American people want to see. Is other countries stepping up and funding that? If it's that important to Europe, which I understand why it is, and the incursion of Russia and the bravery of the Ukrainians, then European countries should pay for it, and that's exactly what that chart says,
Starting point is 02:17:01 and that's the administration policy. So we don't have any interest in what happens in Ukraine. Is that what you're saying? It's only the Europeans? I'm saying the threat is far closer to rich and capable countries in Europe, and they should step up to lead the charge, and that's why that chart is a good thing to see. They have stepped up,
Starting point is 02:17:18 but I think the American people should understand that we've stepped back, in fact, step back to the point of abandoning. This is a war that never would have happened under President Trump, and he supports ending it through a deal, and he's pursued that. So far it hasn't happened. I'm at a time. I want to talk about DTOs who designates, but we'll take that up later. Thank you, Senator King.
Starting point is 02:17:41 That was a brutal little burn, wasn't it? That he's pursuing a deal. Well, that hasn't happened yet, has it? And the deal he's pursuing, of course, is exactly what's going on on that chart. Hanging Ukraine out to dry because... Well, because that's what Daddy Pouty wants. It's that simple. Oh, and Roger in Oregon.
Starting point is 02:18:23 Hi, Roger. Has put a challenge on the table to help get us down. to the halfway point for April. Thank you, Roger. The next person who kicks in 50 bucks, Roger will double, or if somebody put, two people put in 25, Roger will double that. And that'll get us,
Starting point is 02:18:45 brown paper bag in hand, that'll get us down to 31, 1889. And that's very close to being halfway funded for April. So thank you, Roger. Thank you. Hopefully someone will jump in in the next 37 minutes or so. Again, thanks.
Starting point is 02:19:11 Thanks, Roger. And we will get over to the other hearing that took place in the Senate today. But, yeah, the showdown. Senator Mark Kelly, American hero, Mark Kelly, astronaut Mark Kelly, versus Little Pissant, Whiskey Pete Kegbreath. Safe to say that our weapons like SM3s, Tomahawks, Patriot missiles have capabilities that are unmatched. That's why they cost a lot, take a long time to produce. Your budget requests $31.8 billion to expand production capacity for critical missile stockpiles.
Starting point is 02:20:12 Is that correct? 31.8? I'm looking at $53 billion for munitions acceleration over 14 critical munitions of which the ones you listed are apart. Okay, 53. Yes, sir. More than 20 billion more. So we've been working together to grow the industrial base because we're all worried about how our stockpiles would hold up in a conflict against China. Since the start of this war, you've made it a point to highlight the number of strikes.
Starting point is 02:20:43 the U.S. military is carrying out, citing that more than 13,000 targets had been struck as of April 8th. On March 2nd, you said, and this is a quote, this was a massive overwhelming attack across all domains of warfare, striking more than a thousand targets in the first 24 hours. On March 10th, you said, yet again our most intense day of strikes inside of Iran. On April 6th, you said, and this is another quote, the largest volume of strikes since day one of this operation. Your department has released video after video of things blowing up. None of us doubt the strength of the U.S. military and their ability to do hard things.
Starting point is 02:21:26 I understand that better than anybody. The questions we should be asking and answering are, what does this cost us and what does it achieve for the American people? Many of these strikes use our best weapons, and we're using a lot of them and a lot of interceptors. Open source reporting has estimated that the military has used an outrageous number of patriots. I'm not even going to say the numbers, but a lot of patriots, a lot of fad rounds, jasmir, Tomahawks, very expensive, exquisite. We can't make these munitions overnight, and it's clear from your budget request that you know that. can you tell us how many years specifically is it going to take to replace these systems?
Starting point is 02:22:18 Senator, thank you for the question. I would defer to the comptroller on the amount because I think it's a lot higher than 53. If you look at long-range fires, jasms, El Razums, Tomahawks, we're looking at $238 million. We're looking $40 billion for hypersonics. So I actually think it's closer to $330 billion in munitions. Okay. How many years to replenish? That's the question.
Starting point is 02:22:36 I think that's exactly the right question to, Senator, because the time frame we were existing under was unacceptable. Okay, well, tell me. And what this budget does, I mean, months and years, fast, years. I mean, we're building new plants in real time. So just to replace what we have extended. I said months. And then you said years. Both, it depends on the weapon system.
Starting point is 02:22:56 But two to three, four X of what we have today. So, yes, we're dealing with a reality under the previous administration of what they sent to Ukraine and what they. Biden Biden's fault But the question is Oh it's going to take months It's going to take years So we're kind of
Starting point is 02:23:17 Missile poor If some sort of shit goes down Where somebody comes after us As opposed to us Attacking Iran On Israel's say so Even people inside
Starting point is 02:23:39 Nitwit Niro's closest inner circle laughed when Psycho Bebe said Yes and we can achieve a regime
Starting point is 02:23:51 change in Iran Sure booby sure So in other words We don't have enough of our own crap to defend ourselves
Starting point is 02:24:04 because we decided to go to war Against a nation That's been waiting for us to go to war With them for 47 years and is completely prepared. Allocated elsewhere. Okay, I got it. So we fired years worth of munitions.
Starting point is 02:24:24 And it is clear that these are being expended to try to achieve some objectives. That was the plan. But, Mr. Secretary, this war is stuck. The Strait of Hormuz is closed. The Iranian regime is in place. the nuclear material still in their hands. Americans are being crushed by higher costs, and it's not clear to them at all what the goal of this war is.
Starting point is 02:25:00 So I've got about a minute, and I want to go to another topic. I saw your hearing yesterday, and I'm going to give you one more chance to address a question here. It's my understanding that the definition of no quarter is that legitimate offers of surrender will be refused or that detainees will be executed. Is that your understanding of the definition? The only entity that would kill detainees or target civilians is the Iranians, and they're the ones being crushed. the Iranian military in their military capability. The question is, do you understand.
Starting point is 02:25:46 Do you understand the definition that I just read you? Because that's the definition from your department's law of war manual. Is that your understanding? And I'm going to just get to the point here. We fight to win and we follow the law, Senator. Okay, so your quote was, we will keep pushing, keep advancing, no quarter, no mercy for our enemies. And yesterday, you did not clarify whether you stand by this statement.
Starting point is 02:26:14 So I'm going to give you another opportunity to clarify if that is what you meant. Do you stand by that statement you made on March 13th? We have untied the hands of our war fighters. We fight to win, and we follow the law. Okay, so you're not clarifying. So you stand by that statement. So you're the Secretary of Defense. The things you say matter.
Starting point is 02:26:38 and your response here right now makes it clear to the American people exactly why you are not right for this job. It makes it clear to our enemy, Senator. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I would have used not fit for this job, but who am I to quibble with a man of the standing of Senator Kelly? This is what happens when Cabinet Secretaries testify for an audience of one. He couldn't back down on no quarter, no mercy, because that would make him look weak in the eyes of daddy.
Starting point is 02:27:43 Thank you, Baltimore Bob. Thank you so very kindly. Baltimore Bob met Rogers' challenge, and that means that we are down to 31, 1889. $118.89 away from being funded for the first half of April in this, the most brutal month that the horn has ever faced.
Starting point is 02:28:04 So thank you. Thank you so much. At this point in time, every penny goes toward ensuring there's a may for the horn. Thank you, Bob, and thank you, Roger. And then, And like I said, there were other hearings today.
Starting point is 02:28:35 Whiskey Pete got all the notice. But Trash Patel, well, he didn't have a very good day either, especially when it came to Senator White House. Can we confirm here today that there is no court order. of any kind that limits your ability as a witness before the grand jury to discuss your own testimony to that grand jury? We can confirm that pursuant to my action that that grand jury testimony has been released, the transcript. In a high-stakes confrontation. Yeah, okay, I was afraid it was going to be one of those. This was all about Senator Whitehouse arguing that,
Starting point is 02:29:53 the FBI is being trashed from within. Let's see if we actually get any real sound. Thank you, sir. When you were here for your confirmation, we talked about your so-called enemies list. It appears to me that there have been adverse actions of various kinds taken against about, 20 of the 60 people on your enemy's list. You've been in office for seven months at that rate.
Starting point is 02:30:31 You've got 14 months until you've hit all 60. Can you explain that? Again, that is an entirely inaccurate presupposition. I do not have an enemy's list. You can continue to characterize it as you wish. The only actions we take, generally speaking, if for personnel, the FBI are ones based on merit and qualification and your ability to uphold your constitutional duty. You fall short, you don't work there anymore. Well, there was a list. You don't like it to be called an enemy's list, and it had about 60 names, and about 20 have had an adverse action. So those are, I think, pretty clear facts. Let me move on to your grand jury testimony, which we also talked about when you were here.
Starting point is 02:31:15 I think you indicated that you understood that a witness in the grand jury is free to discuss afterwards whatever they told the grand jury. And you then went on to suggest saying, I can't go into court orders granted by the D.C. district chief judge. And you want me to violate a court order. In those remarks, you fairly plainly suggested that there was a court order of some kind that somehow restricted or limited your ability to discuss your own testimony to that grand jury. Since then, that chief judge that you mentioned,
Starting point is 02:32:12 Judge Boasberg, has written, and I'm quoting him here, Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 6E allows witnesses like Patel to divulge the contents of their testimony, meaning that nothing was preventing him from doing so before the committee. Can we confirm here today that there is no court order of any kind that limits your ability as a witness before the grand jury to discuss your own testimony, to that grand jury we can confirm that pursuant to my action that that grand jury testimony has been released the transcript what would you i i usually reserve the word pedigoggers for bad lawyers but this is pretty awful in its own right i think it's a race to the bottom and like i said trash patel will be gone before uh whiskey peed
Starting point is 02:33:36 is. But you can tell that they're all operating from the same playbook because this is just the bitchiness of Krusty the nasty Nazi gnome, the bitchiness of Jojo Blondie by boys.
Starting point is 02:33:57 And I do mean boys. Those are not men. But hey, let's take a minute and run over and check in on the stress line. Hey, welcome to the the program.
Starting point is 02:34:16 Hello? Hello. Hello, can you hear me? Yes. Yeah, yeah, this is Clarence. How you doing? Yeah, that's what I thought. Hey, Clarence, how are you?
Starting point is 02:34:27 I'm hanging in there. I'm just sitting here waiting to deliver a load here in Alabama. But, um... Oh, I got to know. What part of Alabama you in? Sorry, I kind of know. Um, actually, when the, um... I'm in a place called Robbinsville.
Starting point is 02:34:43 I'm at a rest area. Oh, I know where Robber is. line on I attend. Yeah, I know where Robert's sale is. Yeah, Robert's there. Okay. Yeah, I'm sitting in the rest there because I got to be able tomorrow morning and over in Mobile, I guess about 10, 15 miles from where I'm, I know it well.
Starting point is 02:34:59 But anyway, I was sitting here. Yeah, I was sitting here again, angry and angrier listening to this, this excess guy, man. You know, I'm a retired military. I mean, I retired just before he was even fucking born, probably. but then when this guy man what I just just to hear him talk first of all you know if somebody was in the guard or whatever
Starting point is 02:35:24 to reserve this stuff but he don't have no kind of decorum or anything and he um and I also the thing I don't like about him I understand he was a major or something like and um he's got all this power over these generals you know the guy's been in 30 35 years
Starting point is 02:35:41 38 years whatever and um it just binds me up with that. So I'm sitting here thinking, and I'm pretty sure you ran across it too, I think the presidential selection of their cabinet, those cabinet numbers, for those particular jobs they got, they should have the system, Mr. Hexas talking about merit. Everybody that's selected for a cabinet position
Starting point is 02:36:10 need to have a background in it. You just can't put anybody, you know, in a cabinet position really nilly just because they're cool with you, you know, a friend. And I think they really, really need to change that. There ain't no way in the world that that guy, Cass Patel, should be the FBI director, you know, and on and on. I don't think anybody in any position in his cabinet right now has any background in the particular department that they're in charge of.
Starting point is 02:36:41 So I think it should be some kind of format. Yeah, there's no complex. whatsoever. Yeah, and I, um, because, maybe you can bring it down. You know more when the president, so this is how it, the president could just put anybody he wants in any position he wants, whether they have a background or not, right? Yeah, yeah. And, and, you know, the maggots, that, look, if you, if you put, if you put a two-week-old
Starting point is 02:37:12 quarter-pounder on the table, there in front of whatever relevant Senate committee there is, the maggots would confirm him, and some of the mugwump Democrats would go along too and say, well, you know, the president has the right to his choice. Yeah, you know what? I just made some sense there, too.
Starting point is 02:37:33 I forgot that they did get confirmed. So that says a lot about the people that did it, like the Republicans, but it was mostly on the, you know, on people on our side was involved with that. but they know these folks is not qualified for them damn jobs. So I don't understand
Starting point is 02:37:50 why they continue to do it on you. You know, everybody keeps saying fear and stuff like that, but still, come on. It's got to be some kind of protocol set up where that needs to be changed. I was talking to a friend
Starting point is 02:38:04 of mine the other day and I said, the only, and we want to call like the, the only good thing about this Trump shit, he's putting a spotlight on all the weaknesses, you know, in our systems. Because there ain't no way in the world that he should have all these
Starting point is 02:38:19 non-qualified people in those positions. You got a war going on and you got a goofball major, and I don't want to say nothing bad about the guard or the reserve, but still there the guard and the reserve. I was active duty. I was in combat. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:38:37 Active duty is different. Yeah. And this guy, man, The responsibility and the power that he has is just unbelievable. And the way, you know, you know, I was listening to the way they were questioning, they wouldn't want, you on one of them panels, man, because I've been on God up like, yo, dude, let me tell you something. I'll probably get locked up because he's very disrespectful, man.
Starting point is 02:39:04 You ask him a simple question, just go ahead on answer. And then he gets very defensive, you know. And anytime somebody, I learned this in a military school, When you get people defensive like that, chances are they be, what do you call, bullshit or a line. It's one or the other. And this dude, man, it's no way in the world. He should have that job right now. And asking for money.
Starting point is 02:39:31 And the people asking him, why do you need the money? And da-da-da-da, he keeps saying the same old crap over and over. Yeah, because I want it. Yeah, that burns me up. I was sitting there up and I used to just I just seem and I'm just like
Starting point is 02:39:45 How's what this do? And every, I mean, this is not the only first time I heard him going in front you know to the Congress
Starting point is 02:39:53 or the house and stuff but wow, man what a difference from, you know, normal, you know,
Starting point is 02:40:00 the normal hum drum routine, you know, answer questions yes and no, blah, blah, blah,
Starting point is 02:40:05 this guy all over the place to get very defensive. You know, oh, that's a trick question. And he's one of them. Yeah, it is a trick question.
Starting point is 02:40:14 Just go ahead on and answer it, you know. So that's how you got to deal with a punk like him, because he's got this thing all messed up. And we, it just, I said, I just got angry, man, and I shouldn't be all up in my feelings about a cat that I don't even know. But I feel sorry for the folks that's up under him and all these people that he terminate. And then he sits there and everything's based off of marriage.
Starting point is 02:40:41 If somebody needs to tell you, your buddy, if somebody is on the general selection list, you can rest assured they got married. Because you don't, hey, I want them but a master's art and all the schools and all the training and stuff I had to go through,
Starting point is 02:40:59 the protocols I had to meet, just to make that. So I know for an officer, if you if you want a colonel's list, Fulberry colonel's list, you can rest of sure you don't pay you dues and you don't been to all kind of war colleges, a naval institute,
Starting point is 02:41:16 you don't took all kinds of courts, you don't punch all the cards that you've got to punch and then some. And so it ain't, and I don't care what color is or what, you know, or what gender you are, if you on a general's list, it's very seldom,
Starting point is 02:41:33 I'm trying to, I'm trying to think, I can't recall now, if you make that general's list, you're going to be promoted. That's all too. Unless you don't just, you don't kill somebody. You know,
Starting point is 02:41:46 you're going to do something just really crazy. But if you made it that far to get that star and this guy, and he, you know, we know the racist part
Starting point is 02:41:55 and the massagenist part. But for him, let's sit up there and talk about merit. And I wish I wanted them, senators, you know, I don't know why Mark Kelly
Starting point is 02:42:02 and he thought of that. We need to read his meritorious service list. Let's see what he did. I bet he don't even have a meritorious war. But, um, if I recall correctly, somewhere along the way, somebody fucked up and gave whiskey Pete a bronze star.
Starting point is 02:42:20 They did. Yeah. Okay. Now, I could tell you something. I was on active duty. Hey. Don't brown. Well, any metal, again, it's not what you know, is who you know.
Starting point is 02:42:32 If you got somebody, you could write anybody up for, you know, good, you know, good, for an award, you know, I mean, like metal on or something like that, you can't. But a brown star, you can't. Yeah, it's easy. Even though I don't want to take, you know, the importance of the valor from it. But still, he got a brown star. I mean, what, okay, I don't even know what his MOS was. You know what his job was in the Army?
Starting point is 02:42:53 I do not offhand. Yeah, I don't even know. I don't know if he's in infantry. And I don't think he was in his infantry. Because if he was, he'd probably be beating his chest about that, too. But, yeah, they need to, they need to set up a phone call. Well, understand. None of these, none of these chuds are.
Starting point is 02:43:11 above stolen valor, you know, Clarence? Yeah. Yeah, well, yeah, with the way they lie and stuff like that, yeah. But see, the only thing, the other side of the military, and a lot of the people do this stolen valor, one thing you got, and I like you look at, Discovery, and some of the people know your career too. So, you know, anybody in your unit, they know, they know if you did what you did or said what you did, you know.
Starting point is 02:43:39 So it's kind of hard to get them around. that but uh the uh yeah they do this administration has revealed a lot we got a lot like you said we got a lot of stuff to put back together man and up as old as I am probably with you we probably won't even see it fully recovered man because the damage they have done and hopefully in um November we can get that ball rolling man because um this this stuff that's going on is just completely it's it's just nonsense man. It's nonsense. And I, um,
Starting point is 02:44:15 but another reason I wanted to call, I would, um, and you might can help me with this. Okay. In the media, it's, they're talking about the economy is, uh, is slow and sluggish. Now and again, I'm gonna use a discovery part. I'm out here, um, Roxanne, and I'd be honest,
Starting point is 02:44:37 they had no way. I'd have made more money in the last six months than I have in almost like 20-something years. It's a lot of a freight. We're moving a lot of freight. I know things prices is up, but I can't understand why there's so much freight traffic going on, even though they keep saying the economy is slubbish.
Starting point is 02:44:55 So can you explain that to me? Because, like, again, you can't get into it right now. The reason I'm in the rest of it, because you can't get into a truck stop. Trucks is all over there, and this place is filling up right now as we speak. But and
Starting point is 02:45:09 the real tell tell, something's going on, somebody got money. Because I see a lot of, we're moving a lot of RVs, we move in a lot of boats, see a lot of boat traffic, a lot of vehicles moving. When you see those, you know, specialized equipment and stuff like that, it tells me a different story. But, well, when you're talking about luxury goods and relatively massive industrial vehicles, look there's no doubt about it
Starting point is 02:45:45 nitwit Nero has made life infinitely better for the villainaire class you know the yeah but I mean but they can't but they can't buy all these you know like I said when I'm saying with my own out
Starting point is 02:46:06 I guess all I can speak with my own expense they can't buy all this stuff like I was I was a part by Trump the day It had five Now these Millionaires and billionaires And billionaires These are like really upper
Starting point is 02:46:17 Uh What you call? Middle class people who buy Big Boots Because it was like Five boats on the trailer You know The billionaires
Starting point is 02:46:25 Millionaires I mean The vessels that they buy They don't even be on Highways out here They're dropped into the water But I'm just saying For the regular
Starting point is 02:46:35 I'm not the regular Joe Because we're the regular Joe But the people I guess Just up A notch ahead of me it's a lot of that I'm saying I'm trying to see I don't know how to put it out there
Starting point is 02:46:48 I see a lot of stuff out and say if the economy is sluggish why do I see all the you know these specialized lot of construction vehicles is out here a lot of like I say RV and you know what some of that
Starting point is 02:47:03 people buying double wives and triple wise I see a lot of that now and I thought the housing market was sluggish too but um but you know some of this some of this may be a follow-on effect
Starting point is 02:47:18 I'm guessing of the fact that the tariffs got not shut down by the Supreme Court and and shit like that has gotten cheaper construction materials may be down a little bit
Starting point is 02:47:35 as far as you know things like double wives are concerned yeah Now, the other thing now, just in thinking, the only other thing that the possibility is going on, too, is that actually what we're moving now is the last, well, I'm going to say the last, what's still being stored in the warehouses and stuff. And that's another thing, too. It's not only a lot of warehouses that's filled with freight and stuff, these warehouses going up in South Carolina, North Carolina, it's a lot of construction of these big, massive warehouses, you know, with 100 dots to them on the night. And I mean, they're putting them things up seem like overnight.
Starting point is 02:48:17 Well, bear in mind, though, that in many cases, some of those warehouses are going up because DHS got a horse gag and a lot of money. And all over the country, they've been trying to build concentration camps. And even maggot states. I heard a story coming out of Georgia, but also out of New Hampshire. Hampshire, maggot states are saying, we don't want these things. We don't have, among other things, the infrastructure for them. So that's some of it. And by the way, Jude just wrote in.
Starting point is 02:48:50 And she said she was, even as you call, she was thinking about people like you and Todd, an individual we haven't heard from in ages. I hope my hope is okay. She said, I sense an incredible connection. And thank you, Jude, for jumping in. you took us down to 3,093.89, and I got some more good news in a minute. Jude, though, said, if I may, in reference to the massive flow of truckers out on the road, at my work a few weeks back, the warehouse was filled almost to the brim, asked about it, as this was unusual, and the response was, the tariffs.
Starting point is 02:49:34 Okay. Maybe, yeah, because I, you know, like I said, I see it, I've scratched my head, because I'm moving, like I said, I'm doing lows, and I'm just moving a lot of a nose freight right now, and it's just kind of bad for me. You know, I've been scratching my head, but I, it's amazing. It's a media. Well, it is.
Starting point is 02:49:59 It is. And, you know, I travel between here and Parkersburg quite a bit, and that puts me on I 77, and I know you know I 77. I know you. Yeah. You see that truck traffic out there. You're damn wrong. I was toddling along in the right lane.
Starting point is 02:50:17 At one point in time, I had eight, ten trucks behind me because there's a lot of road construction on it right now. And I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a pain in the ass, but I do not. When it says 55 miles through a construction zone, I do 50 because I don't want that. You're doing right. You're doing right. You're doing right. They just had to wait until they get around you, man, because I'm the same way, even in my big truck. A lot of the truckers is a disgrace, you know, the way they be driving.
Starting point is 02:50:48 But you're doing it right. But that other thing, now you say that construction, so they, I haven't been up on 77 since last year when I was up here. Oh, God, from Charleston to the Ohio line up around Marietta. Shit, Clarence, it may as well been gravel road. And you know what? Now, here's the catch with that. And, because it's North Carolina.
Starting point is 02:51:12 Biden. Only state they're not doing it in is good old South Carolina, man. I don't know what it is with Ms. I'm called Miss Scott and Ms. Lindsay, but every other state around it is they're doing a lot of construction. And a lot of people who don't really understand. That funding there, that's from that infrastructure bill. Yeah, damn right.
Starting point is 02:51:34 That's stuff here. Yeah, they blame Biden for shoot they don't like. Yeah, exactly. Absolutely. But all that construction we're looking at now, that money was in the pipeline, you know, when Trump took over. And the Democrats need to be standing on, you know, on top of the trees talking about that. I mean, North Carolina, man, they're almost finished. I think they're going to the last section.
Starting point is 02:51:59 But there's four lanes all the way down, you know. And, you know, as far as South Carolina goes, it's a bit flippant on my part. but I'll say this, Clarence, Lady G is too busy warmonger into worry his little punk and head about such trivialities as South Carolanians being able to drive on the roads without ruining their cars. Yeah, he's a disgrace. He's a little old warmong, and I bet he won't take his ass over there to do no fighting. Oh, he never did. He was a thing about it. He was JAG Corps.
Starting point is 02:52:41 Yeah, and you took the thought out of my head, and I said, and he knows that most of this stuff, if not all that Trump is doing, is illegal. He knows that. He knows all of them. If he was a JAG officer, he knows those rules. And I think he should be charged, too, when I mean, I hope when they, I've been listening to you,
Starting point is 02:53:03 when they get their stuff together, man, they need to round all these cats up, man, and really make an account for this, man. I want to see, and you know what this process is like, Clarence. I want to see Whiskey Pete Kegbreath called back to duty and court-martialed and busted down to a private and being the war criminal that he is, sent to Leavenworth for the rest of his natural-born filthy days. Yeah, because what he's done, man, is kicking off.
Starting point is 02:53:37 all those people out, man. And, you know, I said, all those generals and animals that he fired, I mean, all the work and the stuff they had to go through to get where they get, man, because, you know, the military is just, it's competition, you know, and, um, and he can't talk about it. They'll be merit, merit. And it ain't nobody on that general staff that don't have merit. You can believe that. I mean, they're great, I sincerely, I sincerely hope that every, every, every general, and I know
Starting point is 02:54:07 it's happening to the to the trans people who got cashiered. Some of them are suing. Oh, yeah, that's crazy. But I hope these generals are suing, too. Yeah. I mean, you know, it's, I mean, it's money out
Starting point is 02:54:23 our pocket, but they deserve it, man, for the injustice that's going against them. And like you say, yeah, I remember you were talking about I think they put all the trans people out, didn't they? Yes. There are a few who, There are a few who are...
Starting point is 02:54:38 But hey, you know, make lemonade out of lemons. At least no trans people are besmirching their honor by participating in this goddamn, dumbass, ignorant, bloody, cruel, illegal war. But that's, man, I can only imagine, you know, being in a stick like that. The way they... This guy, man. This guy has got to go. He's got to go, man. A whole bunch.
Starting point is 02:55:12 You know, every day, every day. You know what we said before? No matter how weird yesterday was, today will be weirder, and tomorrow will be weird, still, that's true. But every day is also, every day is one day closer to a world without these assholes in it. Yeah, or without getting in power. Because the first thing,
Starting point is 02:55:37 I got a Huff post notification, and I hate to be. I always say, everything comes to my mind before he even looked at before, I even clicked the phone and wonder what he's going to do it now, man, because every time he opened up, there's something wild like this dude, man. Oh, his white house staff couldn't even manage a state visit by the king and queen of England. I don't know if you saw this. Tara and I were talking about this. The dumb bastard, Charles and Camilla paid their respects by going to Arlington National Cemetery.
Starting point is 02:56:19 If there is a sacred piece of ground, a hallowed piece of ground in this country, it's there. And do you know what greeted the king and queen of England? 15 Australian flags. I shit you not. What? The White House Protocol Office didn't know the difference between the flag of Australia and the flag of the United Kingdom.
Starting point is 02:56:52 Kingdom, okay, yeah. The Union's out of here. Yeah. And what's more, when they finally did round one up, Clarence for the Honor Guard, know, the U.S. military honor guard that followed behind the king and queen. By the way, nitwit Nero, nowhere to be found. But when they finally found a union jack for the honor guard, they deployed it upside down.
Starting point is 02:57:24 Oh, boy. We're just a clown show. So, you know what? I'll get off this phone with you shortly. When I get off, I'll definitely go to the U.K. tabloids. I know they're tearing their asses. as they should get out of here. It's good.
Starting point is 02:57:46 It was something else. It's embarrassing. It's humiliating. It's hilarious. He's running around the world. We're the hottest country in the world. Everybody loves us and blah, blah. I'm like, he's on something.
Starting point is 02:58:01 What do you call it? Norb Black line or something. That's unbelievable. I didn't know that. You got. Look, old crank heads going to old crank. Wow. You know what, now, the way you just described that,
Starting point is 02:58:22 you're not going to tell me that he's surrounded by some other people. They know what's going on too, and they make him look like a damn food. I think they had to do that on purpose, man. They had to do that. I can't see the, I would. The honor guard, the honor guard handles on flags and stuff. I just can't imagine them. making a mistake like that.
Starting point is 02:58:43 It must have did it on purpose. No, no, no. It wasn't on purpose, Clarence. They're that goddamn dumb. Because the chief... No, I'm talking about the chief... The chief protocol officer of the White House is a former
Starting point is 02:58:59 yammerhead from Fox News, Monica Crowley. Yeah, I remember that name, yeah, Monica Crowley. Yeah, that name, um... Didn't she work for CNN sometime ago? alone. Maybe, but she was at Fox News eventually, and that's how she got the job, because
Starting point is 02:59:17 President Mike TV from Willie Wonka thinks that you need to have good ratings in order to that that somehow indicates your level of competence and intelligence. Again,
Starting point is 02:59:34 as I said, again, they've got to have people that's qualified for these, and that should be automatic, because I think I've seen I was the truckster Anyway, I called a headline This is a new Surgeon General Isn't that a Fox News contributor
Starting point is 02:59:50 The nominee? Yes, oh yeah. That's a strange. Yeah, because they probably had their heads up his ass so much So anybody that worked in Fox News I'm surprised Sean Hattie He don't have a cabinet position
Starting point is 03:00:08 Oh no, Sean He probably don't want to leave that money No, right, yeah, no He wants all the money Yeah, he don't want live that money because I'm pretty sure he probably could have got any job here but they got to put it they got to put a stop
Starting point is 03:00:22 at you got to be qualified for the positions man because you know you're managing the country of what a quarter of a billion people as we speak and we got all these goofballs running around managing the money man that's insane
Starting point is 03:00:38 it's like it's like Bob Sesska he said the Trump administration reminds It reminds him of the episode of Remember the three stooges and the plumbing thing when he was trying to put the pipes together? Yes. He said the Trump administration.
Starting point is 03:00:56 Yeah, he said that's the Trump administration episode reminds him of the plumbing issue. I mean, a plumbing episode with the three stooges. And they had the pipes like to the TV. Oh, these guys, man. But I think the three stooges were at least operating in something resembling good faith. Not these clowns, though. Yeah, I thought you could say they were a little bit more organized And there we are, exactly.
Starting point is 03:01:24 Yeah, it's just, yeah, it's just total madness, man. And the people that are getting hurt, you know, and I was listening to you, that, uh, uh, Dr. Ukraine money. It wasn't that, um, Senator Kelly asked him about the money. Is it the money getting there? Or was that, um, the guy from Maine? But anyway, one of them was asking, and then the guys have to,
Starting point is 03:01:49 well, this is in the pipeline. It takes a little while to get there. No, that money should have been in their pockets over there already, man. You know, like, this guy, everybody, I heard you talk about him. You know, he's so, he's so angry. That thing with Ukraine, you know, you know, with his little, the crawl in his damn hoof or whatever the hell you got. He's still mad because Zelensky wouldn't, you know, do that favor for him.
Starting point is 03:02:15 when he was running against Joe Biden. Remember that? Oh, yeah. And he's still sulkling behind it. Yeah, that's what that's all about. It ain't no more than that. All they keep talking about the Russia don't. No, he's mad because Zelensky wouldn't just say that he was investigating Biden in his son.
Starting point is 03:02:33 And that, like, that pissed him off. And he holds on to a grudge, man. Like, it's crazy. Yeah, I just want to do it. get a giggle out of this. I know you've got to go, but all this 86-47 business with call me and the indictment and everything. Oh, yeah. Our pal, Joy,
Starting point is 03:02:55 and Ann Arbor just posted a, it's obviously Photoshop, but my God, it's too good not to it. It's a picture of Miss Lindsay in a in a t-shirt, and the t-shirt says 69-47. Joy, that's for you.
Starting point is 03:03:18 That's a nice man. Well, Clarence, you take care out there and stay safe, get home safely. It's awful good here in front of you. Emilio pointed out, Clarence. Yeah, I'm still out here running up down these highways. Roxanne, remind him that Congress just passed a law that requires him to call the horn at least once a week. Otherwise, it's a $500 fine. Hey, I would be surprised they do pass a lot like that because they, um, I'll try to call it more off.
Starting point is 03:03:54 Because, hey, I'll be tempted sometime and then I, um, ah, you know, my mind is shooting around so fast. I'll do it, I'll do it tomorrow, I do it tomorrow. But the day Hickseth really got up under my skin, man, I mean, this, I can't believe we got these folks running, you know, running this country, man. Oh, it's just straight up, it's straight up embarrassing. it really is you know and he's running around like I listened to um it's a sister out of um actually she lives in Italy now but she still works for serious serious XM um sirly you probably heard of a serenna maxwell and um and she's over in itlin and she uh drops little nuggets about you know how they you know actually's in sicily so the people over there i mean and she was telling us you know always talking about what are they doing what have y'all done you know it's just It's just insane. And he sits there telling everybody that everybody around the world loves us and everything.
Starting point is 03:04:54 I got a friend in Germany. She's over there with her daughter, you know, at Ramstein. And this clown, I heard that today that he's talking about closing those two bases in Germany, you know, Ramstein. I think Ryan Mayne and the other one of the other ones. You know, landstores a big, matter of fact, landstall is a big hospital for you. Yes, it is. People who get wounded, you know, in that part of the world, yeah, you know.
Starting point is 03:05:16 And he's talking about closing those. down, you know, because Germany won't jump in on this old, this crazy shit he's doing. And it's like, oh, man. He gets ready to mess that whole alliance up, you know, that, they don't align. It's going to be, we're going to be a long time fixing it. Yeah, because we got to convince the people, you know, we got to win back everybody's trust, man. You got to win everybody's trust. And like you said, the, the, I was listening to the people about the USA thing.
Starting point is 03:05:46 We need a loady amount of damage that that I'm done. And China's sliding right in, you know, filling in that void right now. And what a mess he didn't create. What a mess. And the thing about it, it wouldn't be so bad if he was 40 years old where he'd be living around and exceed the damage, but I don't think he's going to be around much longer. I was talking to my sister that the old reason, I really, I said, what we see on TV, you know, when we see him in the place,
Starting point is 03:06:16 rain or on the tarmac or at the podium is one thing. But I'm saying when they shuffle his ass out from behind them cameras, I'm almost sure he's got the cardiac monitors on. He's got IVs going on, you know, and we're paying for the best medical care in the world because a guy like him at 80 years old, if he was just a red little old Joe, I think he'd be pushing up daisies right now. Right. And imagine all that shit you just mentioned,
Starting point is 03:06:45 we got to take that everywhere he goes, including every weekend down to Magaloko so he can play golf. Yeah. You can believe, you can believe, like, wherever he goes, usually the president has, you know, the untowarized, depressed, military, and, you know, the people with the football and all that. But I bet he got a medical team, too, that they follow him around, you know, because there's a way to worry you can come in this guy don't have congestive heart failure when, you know, they laugh about
Starting point is 03:07:17 his ankle with those ankles. Yeah, that's a demon. He's got, he's got congestive heart failure. My, my ex- father-in-law, well, he's my ex-wife's father. He had the same thing. Laves was just
Starting point is 03:07:33 almost like 20-inch waist, man, you know. And they took him out of here, congestive heartfeb. But like I said, he's got the best medical care in the world, you know, because they're nodding off and the sleep, and I don't know why nobody don't wear his ass out with that sleepy Joe shit, you know, but this guy. Well, you know, now they're calling him Don Snorlione.
Starting point is 03:08:02 Clarence, you have a great evening. Stay safe out there. Yeah, all right. All right. I'll hollage you a little later, okay? I hope you do. You take care now. Bye.
Starting point is 03:08:13 All right, y'all take it easy. Clarence is just awesome. It's great to hear from him. Jude, thank you for that photograph. That's gorgeous. I trust that's, what, Mount McKinley in the background? A photo of a snow-capped peak. Jude says,
Starting point is 03:08:33 Tonight's program has filled me providing the hand of distant friendships. Good, good, Jude. And it's great to know you're there. And perched atop some evergreen. I mean, probably looking for dinner, but I like to think the bald eagle is contemplating the mountain in the distance. Oh, just a beautiful photo, Jude. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 03:09:00 And thank you, Matt, in San Francisco. April, not so showery. Well, have a show on me. The hip? Yeah, there's no cartilage left. Two months just to meet the surgeon to schedule the procedure. I assume they probably schedule. a couple of months out.
Starting point is 03:09:16 So it's deal with the pain for another few months. Damn it. At least I finally have an accurate diagnosis. I probably should have demanded an x-ray a year ago. You were doing the best you could. And I think we kind of put those things off if we possibly can. Anyway, Matt says it doesn't make up for the month's deficit,
Starting point is 03:09:39 but it's something. Oh, it's very something. Because glory, we got things down to 279389 thank you for the have a show on me Matt and that means we passed the halfway through April mark and we've got to we'll get after it tomorrow first thing
Starting point is 03:10:02 and of course tomorrow we'll have Bruce and Karen's Memorial Challenge on the table where we can start the month knocking down the deficit by $600 hopefully. I probably said the wrong mountain a minute ago. Yeah, Jude said Mount Rainier. I probably said McKinley. Yes, that's three have a show on me's this evening.
Starting point is 03:10:32 Thanks for the reminder, Lee. Yeah, I think I did say Mount McKinley. It's Mount Rainier. You'd think I'd know we had a painting of it on our wall in the living room as I grew up. and it took me years to figure out why it was there. That's because my father, when the Essex would come into port in Bremerton, well, he fell in love with Washington State.
