Roger did confirm, Roger out in Oregon, and said that his 22-foot-tall corn seeds were imported from Peru,
Starting point is 00:06:21 and it is an eating corn. He said frequently served with Civece, either on the street or in restaurants in Peru. Ah, Peruvian Saviche is, I am told, some of the best saviche in the world. How I would love to have some. God, that's one thing that we're lacking around here. A really, really good quality, saviche. Supposedly, a little Peruvian restaurant has opened up over in Fayetteville,
Starting point is 00:06:45 but A, I can't afford it, and B, haven't had time to go there even if I could. But the little Mexican place offers a saviche, but it's basically just chopped. shrimp with no other fruit in there in it. But it's good. And just another dumb thing, unpaid product placement. I don't know what the politics of this company is, but I was up to the wiggling pig, and I'm a snacker. I can't help it.
Starting point is 00:07:19 but I ran across something there called and it's a southern thing Mama Geraldine's aged cheddar cheese straws and they're kind of in the shape of like crinkle cut French fries they're labeled proudly Wisconsin cheese and they are most cheesy but what grabbed me was that a serving has six grams of protein in it
Starting point is 00:07:46 no sugar whatsoever and the sodium content, or not sodium, the carbohydrate content for six of these little snackers is only nine grams. Damn, they're good. That's the basic problem. Really? I'm going to eat just six of these things. But, oh, they're so good. And what's more, it's a woman-owned business. so I bought the last package of them with the Wiggling Pig and I'm going to be severely bummed out if they don't come back in but that's the story of my life I find something I love and I never see it again I think that's probably a lot of people's impression
Starting point is 00:08:36 but it reminds me of a story I saw the other day and it said the story was just I mean it was sort of an anodyne palate cleanser story. There was no trump in it or anything. But apparently one of the most hated sounds in modern life is
Starting point is 00:09:04 guess? No, I'm not going to turn this into a guessing game. Gee, I hope Ralphs is okay. She's not in the chat room yet, and she usually is. Hi, Ralphs. We miss you. but no apparently one of the most hated sounds in modern life is the beep the insistent beep
Starting point is 00:09:32 of the microwave when it's done I can't tell you how many people and it's not like an annoyance thing God knows we love Dave in the Blind but there where he is temporarily having to hole up until his housing situation improves. He has a, there's a smoke alarm in his room that his innkeeper has not seen fit to replace the battery.
Starting point is 00:10:06 And of course it's doing that, period, beep, that periodic that smoke alarms make when the battery is dying. I suppose the innkeeper will just, you know, wait until it's out. entirely and then well there's no one not a problem anymore right but i can't tell you how many people have commented on it during my conversations with dave over the last few months and uh uh i hope he gets his uh his uh beeping uh sorted out but no the article is about the beep of the microwave and as i read it i was like well i'll be damned because I call it galaxy questing. I've been galaxy...
Starting point is 00:10:59 For a long time now, I've galaxy quested the microwave beep. If something needs to be in the microwave for 90 seconds, I set the timer for 91, and as the timer ticks down, I will click stop and clear when it gets down to the one second mark. You know, just like the... oh it's not the genesis device come on galaxy quest is the one of the greatest star trek movies ever made it even has a rock monster in it and i can't believe that it's like 30 years old but it is
Starting point is 00:11:42 the omega-13 device yes yes yes the omega-13 device and the timer the timer goes down to spoiler on a 30-year-old movie And they realize the timer on the timer never goes to zero, but it does on the microwave. And apparently, and, you know, in a nation of 350 million people, there are going to be very few things that only annoy one person. But apparently this one annoys a lot of people. I don't know, I felt a little warm thrill of, camaraderie.
Starting point is 00:12:29 We're not as divided as we think because I can imagine there are maggots out there and normal people and decent people as well, all of whom hate the microwave beep. I don't know what it is about it. It just feels like it's, well, and it's the fact it won't stop. Okay, you know, you hear the beep, beep, beep, beep. And it's like, okay, we're done. But if you don't go to the microwave periodically, it's going to beat, beep at you again. and if you don't stop it sooner or later,
Starting point is 00:13:02 you'll be going after it with a ball peen hammer. Jeremy says, annoying. I'd say a smoke detector beeping for three months would be nerve-wracking. Yeah, the juvenile delinquent society of the Horn Family Community Congregation, several misses a lick. Yeah, I get the point, Leah, in New York. You said, I love something, and then I never see it again. Don't dare say that around Victoria.
Starting point is 00:13:33 I would not. And as for the things we're never going to sell on the horn, Jeremy adds, apparently Jeremy is in rare form for this Tuesday afternoon. But you could get on the bucket pudding market. There is no way you can say bucket pudding, and the words around it not just make it into something. It sounds like something perverse, disgusting and quite possibly pornographic.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Yeah. Billable Rick noting, Broxanne, stop telling us we can't listen to our microwave beeps. Oh, you're free to listen to it, but eventually you'll hear them in your sleep. Yeah. And, well, I was just glad to know I wasn't alone. Maybe we could build a new political party around that.

Starting point is 00:15:38 Randy Radar pointing out the most annoying sound of the modern age is now the data center. Yeah, just a sort of dull gray noise that goes 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Disturbing the way a transformer going bad is disturbing. And also from Billable Rick, Roxanne, stop telling us we can't buy Swedish space design mattresses and stupid beats. Well, you... I'm not going to tell you you can't, but let's put it this way. it would be
Starting point is 00:16:15 put to far better use keeping one of America's longest running progressive radio broadcasts on the air. Not saying, just saying. And from the Camel Cardinal, Brother Deacon, Bingo! I absolutely despise
Starting point is 00:16:40 the beeping of that microwave, too. Here's a little secret. Outside of the rock bottom, uh the bar bargain basement timu models you can actually disable that beeping on most microwave models uh ours is fairly old and i i one i never knew that and two i don't see any uh any any obvious way uh of accomplishing that goal um of course um there in victoria's apartment up in parkersburg uh there's a brand new stove and I love it it's a really really good electric oven really good
Starting point is 00:17:30 glass cooktop and I have driven myself to distraction trying to and I do things is I did it one time once upon a time I actually set the clock on the stove because it really does it makes some little portion of my brain itch when I look at the clock on the stove and it's and it's the wrong time.
Starting point is 00:17:56 At some point in time, I actually said it, but I don't remember how I did it, and it's not obvious or intuitive. I don't know, maybe if we ever get a high-pollutin new microwave, I'll get a beep-less one, Brother Deacon. Annoying noises Lee in New York says, my entry on the list is my ringtone. I wanted something unique, something tech,

Lord, this was a shit show today. I mean, such a shit show. The Senate Committee on the judiciary met to take a confirmation vote on Todd Blanchie's nomination to be the real, live, no kidding, Attorney General of the United States.
Starting point is 00:22:13 I had a dispatch from someone who knows telling me that John Mitchell down in hell has been inconsolable for some time now, screaming, what? What did I do? And this guy's not going to prison? He's going to be the Attorney General? I only committed all my crimes after I was Attorney General. Jesus. And Satan in the background was heard to chuckle merrily and say, did you forget this as hell?
Starting point is 00:22:48 But yes, John Cornholio and Tham Tillis both folded like a cheap suit and cast their votes because that's what Daddy wanted. to pass and confirm Todd Blanche out of the judiciary committee, but not without disgust. Don't worry, the disgust was by other people, not them. And in fact, John Cornholio, or was it, Fomtillis? Oh no, it was John Cornholio. A reminder that he's an absolute asshole, always has been.
Starting point is 00:23:59 That's why he was Mitch McConnell's number two in the Senate in both the numerical sense and the digestive sense. John Cornholio was confronted by Jeffrey Epstein's survivors demanding a meeting with him and well eventually he agreed
Starting point is 00:25:01 oh no it's worse it's worse speaking to reporters though where is that story damn it? Huh Well, anyway. Oh, no, it was Thomtillis.
Starting point is 00:26:03 Let's do Thomtillis first. Thomtillis earlier today was caught on video agreeing to meet with the Epstein survivors. Here we go. Yeah, because, you know, what I'm hoping to do is I want to meet not with the attorneys,
Starting point is 00:26:26 but with the survivors. We would love that. And have a discussion about next step. Because the only thing I didn't hear in there, I want to see specific action on it. And some of that can even have to do with the investigation. Meanwhile, as he's saying this, he's backing into an elevator to escape the women who were there to speak to him. Mind you. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:26:49 So that's why we have this. My office is right around the corner. If you go right in this first door here, I've got a rush. I've tried to meet the Senator Grassley's on the floor. But I want to have that meeting. But I want to have that meeting. But I want suits in the room. I want victims.
Starting point is 00:27:03 I don't want suits in the room. I want victims. I'll bet you do, you gutless motherfucker. So my office is right around the corner there. I'm in a hurry. Oh, gosh. And so you heard it there with your own lying ears. He said he wanted to meet with the victims.
Starting point is 00:27:24 The survivors said, we want to be heard. And I don't want to talk. to the lawyers, I want to talk to the, I want to talk to the victims. And off camera, one of the survivors says we would love that. Then you know what happened? They went around the corner to the right and went to Thom Tillis's office, and Thomtillis went and hid. And so it is that when they went to the office,
Starting point is 00:28:07 they stood around, sat in his office for 40, minutes. And then finally the staff looked at them and said, oh, he's not coming. No, he's not. He's not coming. So he just brushed off these women who have begged and pled for someone, some senator, some maggot senator, to just sit and talk to them like human beings. And then, of course, he voted to send Todd Blanchie's nomination to the full Senate. Where there's still, I suppose, some degree of hope that maybe somehow, some way this criminal enterprise can be stopped. that John Cornholio and Tom Tillis aren't going to do it, and this is disgusting. As to John Cornholio, Steve in New York, noting, don't tell me, Cornyn was concerned.
Starting point is 00:29:36 No, no, I wish it rose to that level of actual interaction. But Cornholio was, well, I got no problem with Blanchebe becoming. the next Attorney General, because he done compromised on the IRS immunity deal, which has more holes in it than a Swiss cheese, and nitwit Nero has already said that he damned well wants it put back in place. But then, well, some of the reporters had questions, and, well, let's go to the MS Now coverage. Around the fund and the IRS immunity, knowing that there is still,
Starting point is 00:30:37 a full Senate vote to be had over the course of the next week. What are the remaining questions that you have, and likely those Republicans that may are on the fence here? Yeah, Vaughn. I mean, like, the president very clearly, I think, actually showed his cards a bit yesterday. He showed us how much he loves Todd Blanche. We know how much they walk in lockstep routinely.
Starting point is 00:30:54 He also said pretty point-blank how much he's a fan of the anti-weaponization fund. He claimed he had nothing to do with the rescinding of it. But very clearly here, it seems as though the president wants to see this weaponization fund go forward in some other way. That's a big question we have. Another has to do with this tax exemption from the president. I'm actually in my ear. I'm being told that I believe Michael has Senator Cornyn right now.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Let's go to Michael. The circumstances to narrow that, and I think less than the likelihood that parties, people who weren't parties, could benefit from that and make sure that the auto protection was retroactive only and could not be applied to other individuals. And Senator, Senator, and... Mr. Seen survivors said that your vote, yes, on my entrance, can have a chilling effect on survivors of sexual assault and things like that. What's your response to them? They were frustrated that you didn't beat with them in person. Well, what happened to them is a tragedy. And we know that people have been convicted of trafficking in the crimes, and Epstein is no longer with us.
Starting point is 00:32:00 but I don't believe there's anything we could do to assuage them at this point you motherfucker you no good low down rotten lowered in a snake's belly in a wagon rut dirt bag shithead I don't think there's anything we could do at this time to assuage them they weren't asking you to assuage them
Starting point is 00:32:30 asshole. They were asking you to listen and treat them with dignity and respect. And of course, then there's a little question of... Uh-huh, Jeff Epstein is no longer with us. And people have gone to prison. Well, there's at least one person who hasn't, whose name appears in the Epstein files more times than the name of Jesus. Christ appears in the New Testament. But, well, you found out what you got what happened when you got on the wrong side of him. Now you're going to have to go and take a cushy job with some right-wing think tank.

I'm sure he's not ideologically pure enough in some way, shape, form, or fashion. But, well, I still think that Charlene's in Rogue's Island has a damn fine senator in Sheldon White House. Let's not forget that there is an ongoing proceeding in Florida in federal court with an open question whether Todd Blanche committed a fraud upon the court. We don't hear that term fraud upon the court very often. It's probably the worst thing you can accuse someone of in a court proceeding.
Starting point is 00:39:38 It means you're an officer of the court. It means you abused the process of the court, and you did so in order to accomplish an unjust and wrongful result. It's actually worse than contempt of court. It is so bad that in the history of the Department of Justice, no senior official has ever been even accused of a fraud upon the court. And we're advancing this guy before that question is settled in Florida, while there's still a bar issue, a disciplinary issue with the New York bar related to that misconduct,
Starting point is 00:40:25 fraud on the court is a big deal, and it's not going away. I kind of wonder if Sheldon Whitehouse wanted to say a big pucking deal, but bless his heart for not giving in to his baser instincts. But it is a big deal. for the in the where for perspective john mitchell whom we last heard from bitterly complaining in hell that the dirty business he did on behalf of richard nixon doesn't even come close to the filth in which people like jojo blondie and now todd blanchie are engaging in even John Mitchell was never accused

Because again, remember, nitwit Nero's petty foggers didn't sign the agreement. In order to be valid, both parties have to sign. I wonder if they were a little nervous about signing the agreement insofar as, well, they might, might be joining Todd Blanchie in the fraud upon the court examination. It begins.

We are now turning to hear Chuck Grassley speaking at the Senate Judiciary Committee on whether they vote to it. Yeah, because while he was speaking, Grassley had teetered and tottered back to his seat with people like Senator Jubilation Tea Corn Pone grinning at him for having deigned to hand him a personally fondled altoyed.

So Senator Grassley had sat down and there was a trembling peppermint scented hand, he took up the gravel of office.

Starting point is 00:49:09 who is the ranking member on Senate judiciary. Knows that America is safer with Mr. Blanch at the helm. The Angel families know it, and Americans across the country know it. Today,
Starting point is 00:49:31 I'm not only voting to advance Todd Blanche's nomination, I'm voting for the safety of the American people, Senator Durbin. Thanks, Mr. Chairman. Reflect on the fact that as we meet today, there are thousands, literally tens of thousands of men and women in the United States who got up this morning and put on a badge or picked up their briefcase and went to work to make sure that we would be safe. They are in law enforcement all across the United States of America. They count on this system of justice as we all do to give us not only safety in our homes, but also fairness when it comes to treatment by the government.
Starting point is 00:50:10 The man we are discussing this morning seeks to be the number one law enforcement enforcer of the United States of America, the Attorney General of the United States, the highest ranking law enforcement position. And what have we learned in the last few weeks when it comes to Todd Blanche? We have learned that simply his word is not enough for most of us, not even for some of my Republican friends. Even his word under oath is not credible enough. We have a demand by colleagues that I support, a demand that Mr. Blanche, when it comes to important promises to the American people, put it in writing. Put it in writing. And in fact, he did. Mr. Chairman, the political escapade of the last week has made it.
Starting point is 00:50:58 clearer than ever, that Todd Blanche has no business serving as our nation's chief law enforcement officer. Two Republican members of this committee said they would not vote for Mr. Blanche unless the J6 cop-beater slush fund was permanently and irrevocably terminated. And of course, these two members, and I support their position, said to Mr. Blanche, you have to put it in writing if you're going to say those words. President Trump responded, as we might have guessed, as he always does, by doubling down on his position and personally attacking our colleagues. To state the obvious Mr. Blanche's statement on the Slusch front and the IRS immunity agreement are not signed by the parties to the settlement agreement and are therefore unenforceable.
Starting point is 00:51:47 The parties could still sue to enforce the agreement and the cop beaters fund can easily be revived with a new order from the Department of Justice 15 minutes after Mr. Blan. is confirmed as Attorney General. Indeed, the President himself has loudly telegraphed. That's his plan. This is the exact issue that the two senators identified as a basis
Starting point is 00:52:10 for their objection to his nomination, Blanche's nomination. To my Republican colleagues, you gave Mr. Blanche the benefit of the doubt when you supported his nomination to be Deputy Attorney General. 17 months later, there is no doubt where his loyalty will lie.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Take a look at this promise. unprecedented, I believe, in the history of the United States, that somehow Mr. Blanche engineered an agreement, an understanding, a settlement, you name it, that said that Donald Trump will never be held responsible for any violations of tax crimes before the date of this document that was signed. Saying that the president can commit any crime in the tax code and not be held personally responsible, does that sound like he is being held to an accountable? Does that sound like he is being held to an accountability that we all expect of every single American? Instead of serving the American people and upholding the rule of law and the Constitution, Mr. Blanche has aided and abetted the most corrupt administration in the history of the United States. Prior to this hearing, Mr. Blanche told me, he, quote, made a mistake, close quote, by creating the January 6th, Celeste Fund.
Starting point is 00:53:22 where did he say it in my office with witnesses and my staff to what I'm about to say. When I ask him about this under oath, Mr. Blanche falsely claim that he never made this statement. That's not true. Mr. Blanche's willingness to casually lie under oath about a statement he made in a room full of witnesses shows the links he will go to to avoid offending President Trump. Why doesn't he want to concede he made a mistake? We all do that from time to time, right? no, no, no. Manly mega leaders do not admit a mistake or use the word sorry. So he was held accountable
Starting point is 00:54:00 by the president. Mr. Blanche's claim he recused himself from matters involving President Trump in his personal capacity. Yet he personally signed the agreement, releasing President Trump, his family, and businesses from tax liability. When asked how DOJ justified the slush funds outrageous, 1.7.7.6 billion price tag, Mr. Blanche refused to answer. He shows contempt for this committee and for our history by refusing to admit that the sum was chosen to signal support for the January 6 rioters, and many of us remember
Starting point is 00:54:39 when they attacked and invaded the Capitol. Those rioters shamelessly invoked 1776 to compare themselves to American revolutionaries. I mean, we're here, because here is where we are. But having just heard that, it just called to mind the fact that, going all the way back to January 6th itself, do you think it may have had more force in effect if instead of calling them rioters and eventually finding our way via the multimillionaire for-profit media, to grudgingly call them insurrectionists.
Starting point is 00:55:24 Instead of all of that palaver, you think maybe it would have been far more effective if we had called them what they goddamn were from jump, namely, right-wing domestic terrorists, emphasized emphasis on the domestic and the terrorists? But no, no, no, no, no, our multi-millionaire for-profit media couldn't quite work up
Starting point is 00:55:58 the starch for something like that. Oh, no. Because... Because why? Because white. Don't tell me for a minute that they wouldn't have been called domestic terrorists if it had been a bunch of brown and black people. If it had been...
Starting point is 00:56:26 They even tried to blame Antifa. But that didn't fly. But they were white. So, you know, we can't be calling them terrorists. Only the Muslims is terrorists. And only the Black Lives Matter is terrorists. But if we, and we've been paying attention to the media all along through all of this. And you want, this is about the only place you can go.

We're about to install a fucking crook as Attorney General to a fucking crook of a president. And we're still calling what happened on January 6, 2021. We're still calling those people rioters. Give me a break. Mr. Blanche told me that a ruling against the settlement was, quote, a hit piece
Starting point is 00:57:38 personally directed at him. This is no surprise coming from the man who declared that the Justice Suburban is, quote, at war, close quote, with the courts. These are not the words of someone who would serve our nation as a top law enforcement official.
Starting point is 00:57:55 One of Mr. Blanche's first acts as Deputy Attorney General was to issue a memo gutting DOJ's crypto crime enforcement, which allowed the president to rake in $1.4 billion in a crypto windfall last year, even as Americans reported billions of dollars in cryptocurrency fraud losses. The president did just fine, thank you. Meanwhile, Mr. Blanche still has, through his children and grandchildren, $150,000 in crypto assets. Last year, under Mr. Blanche's
Starting point is 00:58:31 leadership, more than 1,000 FBI personnel were pulled off. key law enforcement priorities. What was a higher priority than their oath they've taken to uphold the law? They were directed to flag Epstein records and look for any mention of Donald Trump. Mr. Blanche refused to tell me who gave this ardor, but former Attorney General Bondi made it clear, saying Blanche was, quote, in charge of the Epstein files. And when the Epstein Files Transparency Act forced the OJ to release the files,
Starting point is 00:59:04 Not only did the department delay reviewing and producing it, it recklessly failed to redact hundreds of survivors' personal information, victimizing them all over again, and they testified before this committee under oath to that fact. Meanwhile, the names of powerful Epstein cronies remain protected in clear violation of the law. When scrutiny of the Epstein cover-up intensified, Mr. Blanche participated in secret meetings in the White House Situation Room of all places to strategize about protecting Trump, not Epstein survivors. Mr. Blanche volunteered to interview convicted sex trafficker Galane Maxwell, a transparent attempt to exonerate President Trump. Just days later, she was transferred to a minimum security
Starting point is 00:59:52 camp, which is unheard of, unprecedented, for serious sex offenders like her. Mr. Blanche agreed to meet with Epstein survivors after months of pleas. Only when his nomination was in jeopardy, and a member of this committee said he wouldn't consider voting for him unless he met with these survivors. He finally met with him for almost an hour. As one survivor, Dan Obinsky, who testified before this committee said, the meeting was a box-checking exercise. Mr. Blanche refused to take accountability for redaction failures, and he wouldn't commit to following their suggested investigative leads. It is clear that Mr. Blanche hopes to sweep the Epstein scandal under the rug. I thank those survivors for the courage they showed in this room, today and around the country,
Starting point is 01:00:43 for continuing advocate for survivors and speak truth to power. Mr. Blanche has played a key role in terminating thousands of Department of Justice officials. The chairman talked about his law enforcement record. Let's look at it. The goal is clear. Replace these DOJ officials with unqualified. mega loyalists who will rubber stamp President Trump's corruption. Under Mr. Blanche's leadership, more than 16,000 employees have left the Department,
Starting point is 01:01:15 16,000 employees have left the Department of Justice, including more than a fourth of its attorneys. Many have been fired for declining to initiate vindictive prosecutions or refusing to follow unethical orders, like career immigration litigator, Erezor. who refused an order from Mr. Blanche's former law partner, Amo Bovay, to lie in federal court. Mr. Blanche bragged him a crime of the law enforcement officials simply because they were assigned to investigate President Trump's misconduct. Mr. Blanche is responsible for department losing thousands of years of law enforcement and national security expertise.
Starting point is 01:01:55 This makes all of us less safe. Consider this quote. On Blanche's watch, the Trump-D-O-J. has pursued an unabashedly vindictive agenda of leveraging the government's awesome prosecutorial powers in public trust, its public trust, against the president's political enemies. These aren't my words. This is the conclusion of the National Review, the leading conservative publication founded by William Buckley. This isn't about Democrats versus Republicans. This is about rule of law versus lawlessness.
Starting point is 01:02:29 The Attorney General is supposed to be the people. lawyer. Department of Justice should work on behalf of all the American people. Mr. Blanche continues to operate as the president's personal lawyer, treating the Justice Department like a law firm serving one client, the president. The president has made it clear he plans to keep Mr. Blanche in place as acting Attorney General, a damning comment on his capacity to honorably serve in this role. This committee does not need to legitimate Mr. Blanche's appointment. by providing our consent. I yield.
Starting point is 01:03:06 Before I call. And that was a pretty damning indictment, but, well, at least where the committee was concerned, it was all for not. Because the vote fell along party lines. Starting point is 01:20:51 But Moreno went on because the goddess of irony is holding Bernie Moreno, Max Miller, both of them, in her clenched little fish. and I can only hope she squeezes harder. Bernie Moreno said, My daughter lives in constant fear with this man. Not like something that's existential, but deeply in her heart. She fears what this guy is capable of. I'm just asking this as an aside as a long-time practitioner of the art of word knowing.

Starting point is 01:23:10 He told reporters that every week he goes to custody exchanges to deliver the child and to receive the child from Max Miller, to and from. and Bernie Moreno said, So I meet him at the Bay Village police station in Ohio because that's the place we have to go to meet. And I don't know what this guy's capable of. And I'm just going to say as an aside, I know a little bit what that feels like. Because my ex's first axe,
Starting point is 01:23:58 I've told this story before. He watched our wedding through the crosshairs of a scope on a 30-06 rifle, and the only thing that slowed him down was he couldn't figure out which one of us he wanted to murder first as we got married. And there was a child, my oldest daughter. I raised her as my daughter. And we had to go to custody exchanges.
Starting point is 01:24:27 And every time we did, well, I was strapped for damn good reason. And I know the psychological toll that it takes on the mama and the me and foremost the baby and of course at the same time you're under strict
Starting point is 01:25:01 orders of the court not to say anything to trash the opposing parent and we observed that scrupulously while of course he did not no need to go into the details there but I know that
Starting point is 01:25:22 I mean it'll drive your cortisol levels through the roof There was a time when we had been out, and this is before any of our other children were born, we would have been out somewhere at the store, take her to a movie, whatever. And we would come back to our house, and I would go through the house room to room, making sure that the place didn't have any creepy people or person in it. Nervracking.
Starting point is 01:26:17 But anyway, so Bernie Moreno said that he takes care of the custody swaps for his daughter, Emily. And he said at the most recent custody exchange, and again, this goes to why I say that he and man, Max Miller, because Bernie Moreno is no prize. I will add that Moreno is not an ancient Shawnee or Delaware or Haudenosaunee or Anishnave or Moskogi name. It's Italian. So at some point in the not too distant past, Bernie Moranian, Mareno's parents came over here, his ancestors did, from Italy.

So Mareno said she comes over, gets in our car, we drive away, and if anybody's a parent, lots of people are, Bernie, it's existential. Starting point is 01:41:47 and on the ballot is an initiative innocuously named IL 26-638. naturally it's part of the ongoing uh sickening obsession of maggots with
Starting point is 01:42:18 trans girls and by girls I mean girls I don't mean women I mean trans girls ostensibly it is a ban of trans girls participating in
Starting point is 01:42:37 girls sports. Not going to dive into all of that. But instead, take a moment to talk about the contents of this valid initiative. Hopefully it will go down in flames, and my faith in the people of the state of Washington will be renewed. Not restored, but renewed. The nuts and bolts of the bill, or the initiative, And just as preface to this, I will add that for years now, trans people and our allies have warned that all of this anti-trans legislation is just a gateway drug to what these filthy maggots really think about women.
Starting point is 01:43:57 And we have yet to be proven wrong. Well, Ill 26-638 mandates that girls seeking to play sports from kindergarten through high school, and the kindergarten part is absolutely insane because up until about 9, 10 years of age, girls and boys play together anyway because there's not a lot of anatomical difference because the hormones haven't started surging, you know, precocious puberty notwithstanding. Well, the ballot initiative bans trans girls from girls sports. And it specifies that in order for a girl to participate in sports, any girl, not. a girl who's suspected to be trans, but any girl, any, from kindergarten on, I really, really want to put the emphasis where it belongs,
Starting point is 01:45:27 has to be subjected to an examination with a certification from a health care provider of the potential players' sex assigned at birth. The initiative includes an option for genetic screening, which is wildly expensive. Testosterone testing, which you can only find out with a little five-year-old girl by sticking a needle in her arm and drawing her blood out, which is, I have yet to find a five-year-old who enjoys getting stuck with needles. So that'll be traumatic. Or, and this is the gigantic, or. This is the oar that the people behind this
Starting point is 01:46:25 goddamn nightmare piece of legislation really get a jolly from. Examination of reproductive anatomy as part of the annual sports physical every young athlete already undergoes. A five-year-old
Starting point is 01:46:40 is not a young athlete. A five-year-old is a five-year-old. That's all. Five-year-old little girls. Sometimes, they wear dresses. Sometimes they just wear shorts and a t-shirt. Sometimes they're photographed by their daddy, Max Miller, when they're two and naked.

Starting point is 01:48:09 And she said this measure was clearly not written by somebody who practices. medicine. Of course it's, it wasn't. It was written by somebody who's a, who's paid six figures inside a 501c3 tax-exempt fucking grift to whip up the emotions of people who really aren't that bright in the first place. Dr. Martin went on and said physicals focus on the two most important aspects of sports. First, musculoskeletal health, thinking about kids' joints, muscles, and tendons, and then cardiac health, looking into their heart health and finding out if we need to screen for additional cardiac risk factors. I'd bet that somewhere along the way there's a little bit of respiratory health issues going on to, because in this modern world in which we find ourselves, it is not unusual for children, young children, to be walking around with an emergency rescue inhaler in their pockets because we breathe poison in this country.
Starting point is 01:49:18 What is certainly not medically necessary, Dr. Martin continued, is for me to do an exam and confirm somebody's sex, either through hormone testing, genetic testing, or a non-indicated genital exam. Now, that's kind of, it sounds like medical talk, non-indicated medical exam. That means, well, unless the child has... a problem like a rash or trouble peeing or something like that.
Starting point is 01:50:12 That's medically indicated. Wanting to play tee ball is not. I'm trying to remember how far back boys, little five and six-year-old boys and girls playing tea ball together goes. I'm almost certain that my little granddad. son, that's five, has little five-year-old girls on his t-ball team with him. And to the best of my knowledge, none of these 501c3 tax-exempt grift assholes are out there yelling, keep five-year-old little boys out of girls' sports. And of course, they never say keep five-year-old little girls out of boys' sports.
Starting point is 01:51:11 That would be sexist. And from sea to shining sea and across the fruited plane, high school girls line up helmet to helmet with big old dangerous, powerful, strong high school boys in high school football. They do it in Michigan, they do it in Texas,
Starting point is 01:51:39 they do it in Alabama, they do it in Washington, they do it in California, they do it in Vermont. And who's behind the measure? Who's always behind this shit? Why, look, it's a billionaire. Brian Haywood, a hedge fund manager, who runs a political action committee called Let's Go Washington.
Starting point is 01:52:20 Has the diarrhea lettuce disease reached Washington state yet? Because I have a feeling if and when it does, let's go Washington is going to take on an entirely different meaning. Let's Go Washington has raised nearly $3.3 millions of dollars, the basic common human decency group opposing them, which is no hate in Wa State, has raised $2 million less. Brian Haywood, who couldn't give a damn less about girls' sports, really, said, the 2007 Washington policy that allows kids to join teams matching their gender identity
Starting point is 01:53:14 comes at the expense of female athletes and their safety, especially the five-year-olds. Over at Glad Law, Chris Urchall said, The sad and cynical truth is that people are funding these ballot initiatives because they want to drive Republican voter turnout for a midterm election. It's just like in 2006 when Republicans poured money into ballot initiatives to oppose marriage equality. How big a problem is this in Washington State? Well, there is actually an answer. There's an organization, too. The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association, who says that out of two,
Starting point is 01:54:00 100,000 middle and high school sports athletes in programs around Washington State of that 200,000 students, 10 of them are trans. 10. Not 10,000. 10. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. 10, 10. 10. but a disgusting, god-damned, wildly under-taxed piece of shit hedge fund manager
Starting point is 01:54:38 says that that is the issue. Voters in Washington State need to focus on. And here's where it gets dangerous. Because of the recent ruling against little Becky Pepper Jackson here in West Virginia by our most puissant dread sovereign Supreme Catholic majesties, well, if both, law were to pass, it would be virtually unchallengeable. And that our lot rent has always, for the most part, paid a portion of the tax liability to the park. Well, this year they definitely shifted it to the individual trailer owners in the park, even when we own the park. So my tax is in, right, it sounds low, but again, I don't own the land. I own the space above the land. That's what, based on the house value. My house is somewhere between 25,000 and 50,000 on any good giving land.
Starting point is 01:58:56 it depreciates. The fucking trailer for God's sakes. Well, they did reavowed it this year to $126,000 with a value for that home, which is great for resale value if you can get it, but I mean it sucks in terms of taxes. So essentially, my taxes with less than 30 days notice, we knew it's coming. I got me taxed over the day. It was due August 31st. Mind you, my health insurance doubled. So did my taxes. My normal bill was about $1,000 a year, spread of over three payments. this year they want $2,200. They roughly want twice the payment every month,
Starting point is 01:59:31 every year they got for the last, you know, six years. In a normal case, you know what? I would have been okay. I don't live on what I consider a fixed income, but the fact that my health insurance went up so radically, that took away all that flexibility I had. It's all gone. I mean, I'm down to cents.
Starting point is 01:59:47 I mean, I told the back porch, I had to strike a deal with two of my credit card company. It's going to hurt me. but basically I get them giving a hardship break, one for a year and one for six months, because I can't keep up with the minimum payment anymore. It's killing me. So this and that poured together. But I tell you this story about that to lead you a couple other stories.
Starting point is 02:00:08 So I saw a guy in the local community ranting out the girls in the waterfront. Yeah, it's got a problem. It's a crime like everything else does. I know it's supposed to be this Christine Bernie area, but it's not. We've got drug use. We've got crime. And they seem to think that. The users and the people that, you know, need the system for help or what have you should be put somewhere else, not in the city, somewhere else.
Starting point is 02:00:31 Well, all the help and refuge people are in the city, needle programs, drug treatments, you name it. So some asshole, obviously a right-wing magnet, even though he didn't, you know, advertise it more than saying this, he said, we should make Narcan illegal. God, Jesus. So my comment at the whole thing was, also just let him die. That's the Republican. Just let him fucking die. to solve all the problem. Let him die. It's their own problem. Well, I mean, that's... Well, what was it?
Starting point is 02:01:01 It was, what, St. Anselm's College in New Hampshire years and years and years ago when Barack Obama, I think, was running on the Democratic side and the seven dwarfs or whatever they were called were running on the Republican side. And the topic turned to health care.
Starting point is 02:01:20 And crazy old Ron Paul said of the uninsured. Well, what do you want us to do? Let him just die in the hallways of the hospital. And the Republican crowd cheered, Jeremy. Starting point is 02:02:18 here. And then yesterday, when a local town, everyone's mad about taxes, again, The crime thing, they're mad. I get it. Crime isn't pleasant. But they blame it on our fairly popular district attorney in the county. And she's done well, but, I mean, she's taking a different task at crime, like low-level crime, small-time drug offenses.
Starting point is 02:02:41 She doesn't put them away for years. Doesn't, you know, slam and kill them and put them away. People are mad saying, we need to vote her out. Basically, we need to vote on the Republicans because they're tough on crime. So at this point, I just, I had to comment back. I can't resist it. I said, listen, so do I take a look at the world in general? And see what it's come to.
Starting point is 02:03:02 It's basically based off of Republican politics. Whether whatever fucking religion and liberalism is based on Republican mind of thought. I said, I wouldn't vote for a Republican for the assistant dog picker-upers assistant on my life and definitely not on yours. So the world has problems, but the answer will never be, voting Republican in this case. In most cases, it'll never be the answer. never. I mean, look at these two assholes just this week of, you know, we won't hope for him. We're not going to confirm him. And he does one little thing, which doesn't bind anyone with anything. And they take a ginormous bite of that orange shit sandwich. You betcha.
Starting point is 02:03:45 Yeah. It's who they are. It's who they are, Jeremy. Unless they look at you in the eyes and tell you they're going to hurt you, it's the only time you should believe them. But, I mean, I mean, deep down there's a chance it wouldn't. And, of course, I wasn't too disappointed because it happened like we kind of thought it was. But, I mean, it just goes to prove that even when they're, even when they stand the chance to get back in a decent way, they still tuck tail and run because they're thinking about their pocket in the long term.
Starting point is 02:04:40 And that K-Street job and him offering them a cushy job on the way after he moves them from office. That's all they're worried about. Then making their millions on the side. They'll make ten times as much as a K-street person ever does the senator. Oh, yeah, and then all they'll have to deal with is the IRS. It's not all complicated, like how you have to deal with political donations and whatnot. You know, Dom Tillas, John Cornholio, they're bazillionaires already. They're going to be just fine.
Starting point is 02:05:11 I mean, that's really all I have my claw tonight. I mean, I'm aggravated, but I mean, I will survive. We did hire a lawyer, and we're hoping to hear in the next couple days an update. Should we meet these payments? Because one of her found in the right will refund us with a way to get it back. So it's complicated. he still seemed to say in his letter to us that he thinks they did something illegal. They waited just kind of not even, I guess, yeah, legal's right word, not illegal,
Starting point is 02:05:39 but that's only shady. They did it in a way that probably wasn't above board, reassessing our places of the value of condos, for God's sake. Does it mean you should die? I certainly do not think so. I know it does horrible things to people and change the way,
Starting point is 02:06:34 and I watch my sister go through. Should she have died in the end? Fuck, no. It's, you know, it's... It's hard to explain, but, I mean, when I watch my sister die, it changed my whole lines in a lot of this stuff. I mean, unfortunately, it was too little too late,
Starting point is 02:06:48 and I tried to cure the guilt and burden for it, but I see addiction as a true, honest-to-God disease, no different to fucking cancer, no different than diabetes at this point. Once you lose control, you lose control. It takes over. It does something to you. It changes your mental structure, maybe not your DNA, but change all of your body functions.
Starting point is 02:07:05 My mom, to this day, can recall how my sister would talk to her for the six years she was clean. My God, that was a good point. She was on methadome. My God, she was cleaned for six years. No signs of doing good. And she would tell my mom every day. And that's why I talk to her every night because I said, I can't replace my sister. I can't replace my sister.
Starting point is 02:07:23 I can't really have that fucking space my sister left for talking to her right. I'm going to do it today. She dies. So make up for that. But she said, my sister told all every. single night, mom, I can still hear heroin calling my name. It wants me to come back. Even on methadone, I still hear
Starting point is 02:07:38 fucking calling me. Yeah. Obviously, not literally talking her, but she could feel the urge to go get high. Even though she was here, you know, I was going to replace that the urge was still there, still physically with her. I know. I mean, again, I'm sure there's people in the group, listen, we'll understand us completely understand it.
Starting point is 02:07:57 And I have nothing but rage at this point, really, but that's all I wanted to say, with these three story tell they're all here. Rage is, but then to hear. Rage is vow. Khalid. Micah just said Narcan saved my brother. I got another five years with him. Narcon saved my sister. She unfortunately only got two more months. But she was saved and the paramedics were able to call my mom or my mom was talking. I think I told you in the past, my youngest niece of the time was taken from my sister and her boyfriend at a time.
Starting point is 02:08:29 She was found with 300 sugars in her car, loaded and unloaded, sleeping in the car. homeless down in Florida. And the police took her, and the police told them all, we can give you small updates. And they let her know about a month before she died that she had been resurrected by Narcan and saved and found her away when she was out. I mean, they can't really forks her any treatment or anything. They let her go. And I told my mom, I said, get ready, mom.
Starting point is 02:08:57 It's going to be bad that she's going to die. I kind of felt it. And I kid you not, she died on Easter that year. Oh, I remember you. I remember you talking about it, God. And the worst part is Easter falls on her youngest daughter's birthday every few years the way it is, how it jumps around. Directly on her birthday. So the rest of her wife, whether she wants to or not, she'll be attached to that with that holiday in her mom's death.
Starting point is 02:09:26 Once she gets to realize what it is. I don't think she realizes it's quite yet. But soon, she's going to realize what it is and what it really is. The second stage of a SpaceX Falcon 9 Dick Rocket left over for a 2025 mission has been drifting through space and natural forces nudged it in onto a path that leads it to an impact on the moon. SpaceX and experts confirm it wasn't planned. It's essentially space junk being pulled by gravity and solar activity, leading to an accidental collision.

The sensitive manner in which I was offered by her still resonates. My daughter died alone in the backseat of a car that had pulled off I-5 on an exit. I was told numerous fellow travelers stopped noting the odd position of that car caught their eye and tried to revive her. Deep sigh.

Starting point is 02:35:34 but of course Alaska has recently been the recipient of a massive amount of public money bribes the delivered courtesy of nitwit Nero money that Alaska should have had in the first place because well Congress appropriates money not the president but here we are and let's not have a responsible for-profit media that talks about things like that the money came via settlements with the Blanche Department of Justice. So apparently he's, you know, doing more frauds, you know, like he did with Trump v. Trump. But Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, also hasn't said he'll vote, how he'll vote on Todd Blanchie. And this time I'm remembering that Moscow Mitch ain't there.

We're refusing to do that in this campaign. is a campaign of by and for all Texans, and I think people are really tired of these culture war fights that are designed to tear us apart, designed to get us angry. And then the moderation began. There are, James Talariko said, difficult issues. Oh, dear. trying to figure out trans athletes in sports
Starting point is 02:49:53 that's an issue where we could actually come to a policy solution but instead politicians like Ken Paxton they use those difficult issues to rile people up to divide us to distract us in order to win power for themselves we could come to a policy solution do tell us where those policy solutions are going to be enacted in state legislatures the laboratories of democracy laboratory. I can't wait.
Starting point is 02:50:22 They've been trying to reach policy solutions in the laboratory of democracy in Austin, Texas for a while, and every time they work on reaching those policy solutions, trans kids and trans people in general get hurt a little more. How about Alabama? How about West Virginia policy solutions? Because they've called James Tala ricko, the maggots, across the country, and particularly in Texas.
Starting point is 02:51:00 Everything but a child of God. They've questioned his manhood. They've suggested his testosterone is low. They've called him a sissy. They've accused him of being trans himself. If he is, it's the damn best case of a trans guy I've ever seen.
Starting point is 02:51:20 The most passing, and never mind, he's not. He's cis. He just happens to be an ally, and I need him to stay like that, please. But yes, He did moderate his position. Going back to June, he had said, well, I do not support gender reassignment surgeries for minors.
Starting point is 02:51:50 You know what? Neither do I. Neither do I. I generally don't support breast augmentation for 14-year-old cis girls either. might be interesting to know how James Talarico feels about the number one gender-affirming surgery given to adolescents in the United States, bar none, going away, namely top surgery for boys with gynecomastia who are constantly harassed by their schoolmates. Gynchomastia strikes a lot of pubescent boys. It often resolves.
Starting point is 02:52:45 Sometimes it doesn't. I mean, look at nitwit Nero. He's got tig old bitties that could be the envy of no small number of trans women. But what's this? He does not support gender reassignment surgery.
Starting point is 02:53:20 for minors. I don't think you'll find many trans people at all who do. But I hope to goodness that we don't form up our circular firing squad over this because there are no gender-affirming surgeries for minors. Except, of course, for boob jobs for 15-year-old little girls as long as their parents consent. Labiaplasties for 15-year-old.
Starting point is 02:53:59 year old girls as long as their parents consent, it's real. It happens. Self-conscious little 15-year-old cis girls who decide that because they're exposed to the misogynistic filth coming out of the in-cell and manhood movement that says that if a girl has protuberant labia menorah, that that means. she has been, in the language of those sick freaks, run through, when 99.9% of the time, she's never even had sex in the first place. But if they see Labia Majora and protuberant Labia Minora,
Starting point is 02:54:51 they will call her a roasty, referring to a cross-section of, say, an Arby's roast beef sandwich. Yeah, that's disgusting. but this idea that we can come up with a policy solution for trans girls in sports because nobody ever sends anything about the trans boys in sports because the transphobes just I mean even Fappy Thomas said it in in the recent case about Becky Pepper Jackson
Starting point is 02:55:34 well this ruling of course has no impact on trans boys they're free to play they're really just little girls and they're free to play in boys sports anytime they want to it's disgusting but I talked earlier about the ballot resolution on the ballot in Washington State this evening. That's an attempt at a policy solution, just like what James Tala Rico said. So is every trans girl sports ban in the country.
Starting point is 02:56:13 Saying something like that lacks nuance. Saying something like that is also ignorant. Because there are states now where here to four little girls, girls played in, played sports in, on a co-educational basis with little boys because nobody has an advantage, you know, until, well, notwithstanding what Cynthia said. But of course, if he wants to become a senator from the state of takes ass, James Tala Rico cannot say trans girls are girls, trans boys are boys. Nope.
Starting point is 02:57:01 That is political fucking suicide in this country. I don't think Calarico would sell out the trans community. I don't think he'd sell out any aspect or element of the LGBTQ plus community. But as the article I'm looking at notes, we could actually come to a policy solution, puts him squarely in the same camp as, well, Pete Buttigieg, Gavin Newsom, and Representative Marie
Starting point is 02:57:42 Glusencamp Perez of Washington and of course Rachel was not there to say hey, trans girls are girls because she's not going to do that it's not difficult
Starting point is 02:58:06 it's true but it is career and political supuku insert knife draw horizontally look at your own innards I won't say it's not depressing. But I will say, but I very badly want James Talley
Starting point is 02:58:35 to be the senator from the state of Texas. I won't say that James Talleyco is harm reduction, but there are instances where we have to engage in harm reduction. Maybe the issue is best left to people who are not afraid to speak out because they're not facing an electorate, a significant portion of whom pick their teeth with their toenail clippings.
