Starting point is 00:00:25 go. We're checking in with Cinder Kampoff this morning and believe it before you see it. Cinder, start us off with a quote. I love this quote by Oprah and she said, create the highest and grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe. So do you have an example on how to start out today for believe it before you see it? Absolutely. So, you know, I know most people know Simone Biles, the Olympian, and just at 13 years
Starting point is 00:00:56 old, she was told that she was never going to make the Olympic team because she didn't actually have the ideal body type for gymnastics, which is incredible to think that, right? But Simone did it, let that really define her and said she really traded her own belief in herself and she wrote these affirmations in her training journal. And then she visualized herself standing on the podium and she would repeat, I'm powerful, I'm capable, I'm enough. And in 2016, she did not only just compete at the Olympics, but she really dominated. She won four gold medals and now has redefined what's possible in her sport.
Starting point is 00:01:33 She had her own moods called the Biles and the Biles one and the Biles two. And so I think this is a great story to what we're talking about today. Believe in it before you see it. And Simone didn't wait for the world to believe in her. She believed in herself first, and now she's competed in the three consecutive Olympic Games. So, Cinder, how does this connect with our topic for today? Well, just like Simone,
Starting point is 00:01:57 you get to decide the thoughts that you believe. And we all need a vision for our future, and once we get really clear on that vision, we can really make intentional decisions every day around that. So we need to align our daily decisions with our vision. And when we're clear about it, what helps us really think about it is to think
Starting point is 00:02:16 about what we need around us, who we need around us, what ideas deserve attention. And so the first thing I just want people to think about is what is your vision for your own future? All right. So what do we do when we get clear on the vision that we have for ourselves? Well like Simone wanted to get to the Olympics, right? The next thing you need to think about once you get clear on that vision is ask yourself, what do I need to believe about myself to reach that vision? And this is a really powerful statement because you can create beliefs about yourself to help you get to where you want to go
Starting point is 00:02:49 And so think about this Lisa that a belief is just a thought repeated over time And so it's really important to consider, you know What you believe about yourself and what you want to continue to become and so one time I was asking an Olympian not Simone But a different Olympian, you know what she wanted and what she needed to believe about herself to get there. And she said, well, I need to believe that I can perform on demand and that I can do anything I set my mind to, that I perform best when it matters most. You know, I'm strong and I'm fast and I'm confident. And so I'm just going to encourage everyone to think about, you know, what do you need
Starting point is 00:03:22 to believe about yourself and make your dreams happen? And what would you tell us to do to apply that same idea to ourselves? So I would tell you to think about and consider I am statements because I am statements are what you say to yourself and become your identity. And I'm going to encourage you to think about what do you need to say to yourself every morning to reach your dreams and your goals. So again, whatever you attach I am to you become more of it. And you kind of find things to confirm it. And so you know, I used to think to myself like I'm a procrastinator, let me stop. And then I would, you know, I would develop into that. It wasn't really
Starting point is 00:04:00 true. And so you know, when you put yourself down, you need to think also what you should say to yourself that's more powerful. Because, you know, those automatic negative thoughts don't allow you to try new things. So I'm going to encourage people to think about, you know, your goals and your dreams. And then what are some, you know, maybe between 10 and 15 statements that you can say to yourself every morning that is going to help you get to that goal or that vision. And that's what you need to say to yourself every day. Can you summarize today for us, Syndra? Sure. I would say Lisa, today we talked about getting clear on your own vision and then
Starting point is 00:04:34 deciding the thoughts and beliefs that you need to adopt to make that happen. And so I'm going to encourage people to write down, you know, 10 to 15 statements and repeat those thoughts every morning because that's what you're gonna become more of. And Cinder, what's your power phrase this week for us? I really like this one. It's I'm becoming the person my dreams require. Oh, I like that as well. What do we need to do to follow along with your work or learn a little bit more about
