Hi, Dr. Cinder Campoff here.
Myself and my team just conducted this national research study on confidence that you have to check out.
The report which you can download at Confidencestudy.com shows a research-backed ways you can grow your confidence.
What leaders do to both kill and grow confidence and how confidence is not just a personal issue but an organizational issue.
I'm telling you, you've got to check this out.
It's a game changer.
You can find our full report at Confidencestudy.com.
Time to check in with Cinder Campoff, and we talked today about confidence being essential to your organization's bottom line.
Cinder, start us off with one of your quotes.
I like this quote by Albert Bender, he's the father of self-efficacy, and he said, people do their best when they believe they can.
So we're going to dive into a finding from your national research study on confidence that every leader needs to hear.
And honestly, it's kind of a wake-up call.
It really is, Lisa, because, you know, here's the bold truth, is that.
employee confidence directly impacts your organization's performance. And yet, you know, many leaders
think that confidence is just a personal issue, like something employees, employees just to just kind
of figure out on their own. Your study actually says the opposite, though.
Exactly. So according to our research, 81% of working Americans are attracted to organizations
and teams that prioritize and value confidence. So today we're talking about how confidence
is a competitive advantage.
And really, the cost of ignoring it is really steep and something that you don't want to ignore.
And so talk about the costs, because this really shocked me.
Your study found that when employees regularly face low confidence, organizations experience, like, major risks, six major risks.
Exactly.
So I'm going to share these six major risks with you in the order that they appeared in our study.
So, number one, when employees regularly face low confidence, they have reduced productivity.
number two, higher stress and anxiety.
Number three, you create a toxic workplace culture.
Number four, higher turnover.
Five, like no innovation.
And six, a decline in revenue.
And that's the one that most shocked me was this decline in revenue.
That confidence is connected to decline in revenue.
And get this, Lisa, one and third of Americans have called in sick because they were feeling
low confidence.
And another one third have actually quit in job because their confidence was taking a hit.
That is massive, and it really means that confidence is not a soft skill.
It's a business strategy.
Exactly.
That's what we're talking about today, how it is a business strategy.
And leaders who intentionally nurture confidence build stronger, more resilient organizations
that are really positioned for a long-term success.
And so the key is if you ignore confidence, you risk losing your best people.
But there's some good news.
You also found that there was a payoff.
What happens when the organizations intentionally build confidence in their employees?
Well, the benefits are really incredible. And so we found that leaders to invest in
competency and increase in productivity, reduced stress, better decision-making, improve customer
service, higher retention, more innovation, stronger leadership potential, and just an overall
better culture. So what we're talking about today isn't fluff. It's really like a return
on investment or an ROI of confidence. That's so good. And what's one thing that you want our
listeners to reflect on today. I want listeners to think about how actively are you
prioritizing confidence within your organization. And what's one practice of staff that you can
take this week to build a stronger, more confident team? Because when you elevate confidence,
you really elevate everything. That's performance, culture, and your bottom line. And one thing
that people can do is they can download our confidence research study. If you go to

findings we, you know, I'm talking about today about the return of investment,
and actually what you can do to grow confidence and what you do to kill confidence that you
might not realize as a leader and how you can intensely grow your own confidence.
So that's Confidencestudy.com.
Do you have a power phrase for us today?
