The difference between tourists and confident Spanish speakers?
Tourists learned Spanish.
Confidence speakers practice Spanish.
Daily. That's the only difference.
Fluency Builder gives you that daily practice.
It's an app on your phone.
Download it.
I guide you through video lessons on your device.
Rodrigo, our AI coach,
coaches your speaking through your phone with instant feedback.
And you do it every single day.
Remember, consistent practice builds consistent confidence.

After that coffee, I'm feeling fully caffeinated and ready to start practicing my Spanish.
Whenever away in a Spanish-speaking country, I take advantage of the opportunity to get chatting as much as I possibly can, even if it's with strangers.
Yes, I know, that may seem outrageous.
Where I'm from in London, that's not particularly normal, but rest assured that here.
Here in Spain, if you're respectful and polite and show an interest in their language,
you'll be wrapped up in interactions with strangers like it's nothing.
And don't even get me started on other Hispanic countries, Colombia or Mexico, for example.
I'm going to call it.
These places are home to some of the friendliest people on the planet.
I'm currently in a lovely public garden in the center of Seville.
This garden is called
Hardines de Real Al-Qasar
which in English means
the gardens of royal Al-Qasar
Apparently they filmed certain scenes
from the Game of Thrones television series
right here in this park
there's a lady sitting on the bench
she doesn't look too busy
I'm going to see if she fancies a quick chat
Hello,
Disculpa
It would
Becerable
Conversate
Could be
Can't be
We can't
Can't talk
So I need
I need to
Practicicic
My
Spanish
I think
It's
very important
To use
All
the opportunities
That has
Perfecto
For me
It's
How you
You know
Kav
How you
Amas?
Much gusto
Kaff
My name is
Alejandra
What
does
here in Seville?
What I do
here in Seville?
Very good
question.
The fact
is that I'm
here to vacations
but my
motive
principal is
practice my
Spanish.
Me
understand?
Sure,
that is
a very
good idea
that you
want to
learn
that you're
that's
the idiom is
very
really,
right?
Yes,
what is?
What do you
think of
the climate
of today?
Well,
look,
I'm of
London
so I'm
so I'm
very
accustomed
to the
jubia
here in
Sevilla
is a
day very
very
very
coldroous
so I
think the
climate
here is
perfect
and you
do you
do you
do you
good
I'm
really
much
that you
love
I'm
too
I'm
also
I'm
still
a day
a
day caluroso
so
so
then
so
for to talk with me.
In serious,
that's going to
help very
so much
so much
thanks for
conversing
with me,
Alejandra.
It's with
much
Kav.
I'm
enchantada.
Chao,
Kuitate.
Ciao.
Well,
wasn't that
a nice,
wholesome
interaction?
It's moments
like this
which make me
want to
keep on
improving my
Spanish.
I'm now
going to
break down the
conversation
bit by bit,
so that you understand everything that we covered.
Remember to repeat after me
so that your tongue and mind adapt to the Spanish way of thinking.
To say, would it be possible to converse with you in Spanish,
we say,
Seria possible conversar contigo a little?
Seria.
Possible.
Converser.
Contigo.
Un.
Poco.
This means, would it be possible to converse of you a little?
Let's break it down.
Seria is the conditional form of the verb ser.
Serr means to be.
In this context, seria means would it be?
Seria.
Would it be?
Next, we have possibly.
This means possible.
Seria possible.
Next, we have
conversar.
Conversar.
This means to converse.
Contigo,
contigo.
Contigo means with you.
So altogether we have,
Seria possible
conversar contigua.
Would it be possible to converse with you?
To say, of course, we can converse
you would say
"'Claro'
"'Clau'
"'Claro
"'ke
"'si
"'pobos
"'conversaid.
"'This means,
"'of course, we can converse.
"'Think to use
"'Claro'
"'Ci whenever you want to agree
"'or affirm something.
"'Think of
"'Claro as being clear.
"'So
"'It's clear
that my answer
is yes.
Claro
that yes.
It's clear that yes.
How would you say
what are you doing
in Seville?
What is in Seville?
What
is
in Seville?
This means
what are you doing
in Seville?
How would you say?
The truth is that I'm here
on vacation.
La Verdad is
that I'm here
of vacations.
La.
The fact is that I'm here
I'm here
de vacations.
The truth is that I'm here on vacation.
The truth is that I'm here on vacation.
Remember, in English, we might say,
I'm here on holiday,
but in Spanish, we'd say I'm here of holiday.
How would you say?
my main reason is to practice my Spanish.
My motive principal is practicar my Spanish.
My motive
principal is
practicar.
My Spanish.
My main reason is to practice my Spanish.
My motive principal means my main motive.
Think of,
principal being a fancy way of saying main.
After all, in English, when we want to sound fancy,
instead of saying main, we might say principle.
Sounds more sophisticated.
For example, my principal concern.
So whenever I think of the word main in Spanish,
I just think of the more fancy way of saying that word in English.
Principal.
So say it after me.
My main motive is to learn Spanish.
My motto principal is to say what is your opinion of the weather today, you would say,
What Opinas del climate of today?
What?
Opinas
Del
Clima
de
Oi
Opinas comes from the verb
Opinar
to opine.
to have an opinion.
So, when I ask you,
what your opinion is,
I'm asking you what your opinion is.
Okay opinas
del climate of hoy.
Very well.
To say I'm used to the rain,
you would say,
I'm accustomed to the rain.
I'm accustomed to
a,
If you are a woman, then you would say,
I'm accustomed to the juvia.
I'm accustomed to a jubia.
I'm accustomed to
think of this as I am accustomed.
I'm accustomed to
To the rain.
Altogether,
I'm accustomed to the juvia.
To say today is a very hot day,
you could say,
Hoy is da asieno a day calodoso.
Today is making a hot day.
Hoy is today.
It's today.
It is making.
A hot day.
So altogether slowly we have
Oi is tae
Aseeing
Aseeing
A day
Caloroso
Oi ista
Sieno
A day caloroso
To ask
Do you understand me
You'd say
Me
Entientis
Me
Entientes
That's two words.
Me.
Spell like me.
Entiendes.
Me, do you understand?
Me,
understand?
To say good question,
you'd say,
Buena preguenta.
Buena.
Pregunta.
To say very good question,
you'd say,
very good question.
Very good question.
To say thank you for speaking with me, you could say,
I want to thank you for
to be able to
I want to
agraceerte
for
to
with me
I want to thank you
for for
to
speak with me
I'm
to agraisearte for
to tell someone to take care
as you would at the end of a conversation
you'd say
Quidate
Quidate
Take care of yourself
Quidate
