Season 3, episode 10, a dangerous game.
We're still in the cave and I've just peaked outside.
It is Rodrigo and he's not alone.
He's got three men with him.
They're all carrying guns.
This is really serious.
Is Rodrigo.
With three hombres armados.
Ah, no.
No te muvas.
We're going to have to hide in here and hope they don't find us.
We need to try and keep calm.
Let's go over some of the words whilst we wait for them to leave.
But keep quiet.
Weapon in Spanish is...
El arma.
El arma.
Think about the right to bear arms.
Aramas.
Even though it ends in an A, armor, it's el arma, not la armor.
Pistol in Spanish is la pistola.
La pistola.
The accomplices are los complices.
Los complices.
To hide is to escondes.
Escondes.
I still have to
We still have to hide
To keep quiet
is to
to
guard silence
guard
silence
A threat is
a threat is
an amazza
A menacea
The threat is
La
Amenaza
La Amena
Finally, to escape
Is
Escapar

De Rodrigo
I can see Rodrigo and his men
looking around
They're spreading out
searching the area
But lucky they haven't

While we wait, let's practice some useful phrases in a whisper.
To say, don't make noise, no agas roido.
No, agas, ruido.
Don't make noise.
No, agas, ruido.
To say we're surrounded is,
we're
we're
we're
we're
to say
we have to
escape
is
we have to
escape
we're
to escape
to say
they're dangerous
is
are dangerous
are
are
so
are
so
so
so
I'm dangerous.
No I can't hear
well,
but it's like they're going to
continue
busking in other direction.
I think they're going to keep
searching in the other direction.
They've gone.
You know,
in Villajeros,
facing this level of danger
really puts things into perspective.
We need to focus
on staying safe
and finding the treasure
before Rodrigo and his men do.
Those cave paintings
might be our best lead.
If we could
can decipher them quickly. We might have a chance.
De Accuardo. But with much
careful, no know if they have
given to someone vigilando. Before we venture
out, let's review. How would you say
the accomplices in Spanish?
Los complices. Los
complices. How would you say we're
surrounded? We're rodeados.
We are
How would you say
They are dangerous?
Are dangerous.
They're dangerous.
Well,
Our adventure has taken a very dangerous turn.
Rodrigo has a small armed group
and they're clearly determined to find the treasure
at any cost.
We'll need to be extra careful and clever from now on.
In our next episode,
we'll try to decipher
for more of the cave paintings and plan our next move.
Can we outsmart Rodrigo and his men?
Will we find the treasure first?
Stay tuned.
Keep practicing your Spanish.
And remember, in times of danger,
a cool head and quick thinking are our best weapons.
After the next.
