We're making our way through the dense rainforest around Lake Guatavita.
We're heading towards the northern shore.
It's hot.
It's humid.

I think it was just a howler monkey.
They're everywhere in this jungle,
which is a biodiverse hotspot.
Speaking of which,
let's learn about some of the animals
we might encounter here.
First and foremost, what we just heard,
the howler monkey.

exclusive to South and Central America.
It is of course the jaguar.

Makes sense why the slough is therefore called El Perezzo.
