Season 3, episode 6.
Secrets of the Lake and blossoming feelings.
Bienvenios de novo, Villajeros.
We're standing at the edge of Lake Guata Vita,
ready to begin our exploration.
The morning sun is sparkling on the water,
and...
Wow.
It's making Anna's eyes shine.
in a way I hadn't noticed before.
Cap,
you're fine.
You've been.
You've got to look at it.
Oh,
lo siento.
It's that
the lago is
a beautiful.
No,
you know,
you're not?
Yes,
it's precious.
We're,
we need to
explore.
Well,
as we begin our
walk around the lake,
let's learn
some romantic vocabulary.
To describe something as beautiful, you would either say,
Eremoso or Eremaosa, depending on the gender of the noun you are describing.
For example, Anna is Eremosa.
Anna is Eremaosa because she is a woman.
El Lago is Eremoso.
The lake is
Hermoso
because it is a masculine noun
Next
To say something as charming
is either
Encantador
or
Encantadora
depending on its gender
Encantador
Encantora
To fall in love
you would say
Enamorarse
Enamorazes
Enamor
This is also a fancy way of saying to fall in love in English.
I'm enamored, you might hear.
Think of that word to be enamored.
Enamorarse is to fall in love.
Next, to say to flirt in Spanish is
coqueteer.
Coqueteer.
I am going to flirt.
I'm going to coqueteer.
Next, to say chemistry, we would say,
chemica.
Chimica.
We have a lot of chemistry.
Tenemos much chimica.
We've, much,
chimica.
Finally, to have butterflies in the stomach is
Tener mariposas in the stomach
Tener
mariposas
in
the stomach
So, we're following a path
that circles the lake
According to my great
grandfather's diary
there should be some kind of marker
or sign near the water's edge
Kat
Look this,
could be a pista?
Hang on.
What's Anna pointing at?
Oh, yeah.
That rock seems to have some sort of marking on it.
Let me get closer to have a better look.
Wow, a perfume smells good.
What?
Nothing, nothing.
See, could be a clue indeed.
It could be a clue indeed.
Let me see the diary.
Let's have a look at it.
the diary, shall we?
Cap,
I...
O'est to
hear that?
You think
could be
Rodrigo?
No,
I know,
but
we'll
move,
we're doing
Yes,
yes,
we're
going.
Okay,
we've created
some distance
between us
and the
sound.
I guess it
wasn't
Rodrigo this
time.
Viajero.
Now we're
out of the woods,
not literally.
Let's practice some phrases to express feelings.
To say, I like you, is me gustas.
Me gustas.
Spanish is known as a romantic language, and you may have heard de am.
Which means, I love you.
This is a very strong thing to say, so instead, when your feelings are starting off,
it may be better to just say, me gustas.
Me, gustas.
When you're kicking off your feelings for somebody,
you might say something like,
I feel a special connection with you.
Siento a connection with you.
Siento,
a connection special with you.
I feel a special connection with you.
Siento a connection especial with you.
At some point, you may ask that person if they would like to go out of you.
On a date, for example.
To do so, you would ask,
Do you want to go out with me?
Quirez,
To say,
Quere salire with me.
To say, I think I'm falling in love.
Is?
I think me istoy enamorando.
I think.
Ke.
Me.
I'm.
Enamorando.
I'm
sure I'm
enamorando.
I'm going to
be a lot of Anna
has been so nice
working together
to decipher the clues in the diary.
But I find myself
getting distracted by the way
she tucks her hair behind her ear.
Or how her face
lights up when she solves a puzzle.
Cap, I think
I'm.
Look at this symbol in the
diary and compare it
with that formation
rockosa.
Anna,
you're brilliant.
No see what
would you in you?
Thank you, Cap.
We're doing a good
team, no?
Oiste
that?
We should have
been careful.
But we're
still exploring.
I'm
Well,
We're continuing our exploration around Lake Guatavita.
The sun is getting lower, casting a glow over the water.
But we're not ready to leave just yet.
There's still so much to uncover.
Both about the treasure and...
Well, maybe some unexpected feelings too.
Before we continue, let's continue.
Let's review.
How would you say you're beautiful in Spanish?
Eres ermosa or Eres Ere's Eemoso.
Next, how would you say I feel a special connection with you?
Siento a connection with you.
Siento, a connection special with you.
Finally, how would you say?
we make a good team.
We'll make a good team.
We'll do aqueebo.
Aseme
a good
team.
Very bien.
Join us next time
as we delve deeper
into the mysteries
of Lake Guatavita.
Who knows what secrets
or dangers
await us as night falls.
Until then,
keep practicing your
Spanish.
And remember,
sometimes the greatest
adventures happen when you least expect them.

They struggle with confidence.
They know the words, but they're too afraid to speak.
