You know, occasionally we have paranormal investigators on the show who have had stories to tell from their own investigations. And such a person is Karen from Connecticut. We're so glad.

She's been listening for about three years. And she's going to tell us about her experience at an extremely, extremely apparently haunted location. And we're so glad to have her with us. Karen, welcome to the show. And please tell us what happened. Thank you, Jim. I really appreciate the opportunity to be on your show.

It's been wonderful listening to you. For the last three years, I wish I had known before about the podcast, but I'm certainly blessed to have found you. Many years ago, I joined a, a, a ghost hunting team by the name of Gawner's, Ghosts of New England Research Society. And I had a client by the name of Lynn, who owned Riders on Maine in Meriden, Connecticut. And Meriden, well, all of New England can be very haunted. But Meriden in particular, I found to have many haunted locations.

And Lynn and her husband, Jason, bought a old bar by the name of Mores, and they renamed it, Riders on Maine. And the reason why Lynn came to me to talk to me about what was happening there is that because all their shot glasses started going missing. And I kind of laughed and I said, oh, Lynn, you know, they all look like Harley Davidson glasses because they're kind of their marketing colors were orange and black like the Harley Davidson logo gym. Right. And, you know, I thought maybe people were pocketing the shot glasses, you know, as souvenir. Logical explanation. Yeah, it makes sense.

And she said, no, Karen. she said there's an extraordinary amount of them that are going missing, but there's so much more that's going on at the bar. And I said, okay, well, tell me what, you know, what's been happening. And she said, well, my dad comes and helps us. He was retired at the time. And his name is Barry. And he opened up the bar one morning, and there were beer bottles thrown all around the bar. And when he locked up the night before with Jason, her husband, there was no beer bottles on the floor, but they were everywhere. Apparently they stored the beer bottles in the basement of Riders on Maine. And they were strewn around as if somebody had come in and just dump beer bottles everywhere.

So at that point, I thought, well, that's interesting, you know. So I looked in some tarot cards that I used. I'm a reader. And I said to her, I said, you know, I have a feeling the shot glasses are in the basement because I see them all piled up in the basement in this one area. I said, why don't you go and just see if that's true first, and then we'll go from there. So Lynn went back to Riders on Maine, and she went downstairs into the very creepy haunted basement, and she found all the shot glasses piled up underneath a box in a corner of, the basement. So at that point, she thought, well, you know, maybe Jason's playing a trick on me or,

you know, the bartender's playing a trick on me, you know, wanting me to believe it's haunted. Right. But there's more, Jim, much more that happened. So they hired a bouncer by the name of Tito. And Tito is a huge African-American man. And he's just, you know, when you see he, he's, him, you just say to yourself, wow, you know, I'm not going to, I'm not going to take this guy on, you know. And inside, he's, you know, he's as meek as a mouse, you know, but he looks foreboding on the outside, but Tito's a real love. Anyway, Tito started talking to Lynn about the fact that when he went downstairs to get new bottles of beer, one time he went down and a register tape got thrown at his head, you know,

the big register tapes. Oh, yeah, yeah. Right? And so he got so afraid. He refused to go down in the basement. He just said, I'm not going down there anymore, Lynn. You're going to have to send Jason or somebody else. So Lynn came back to me, came back to my office, and she said, Karen, we got to get this figured out because it's getting too weird at the restaurant.

So we set a date to go in and kind of just see what was going on. It was myself and a co-founder by the name of Kurt and the ghost hunting team. And it was really a fascinating place to explore. So the first thing that we did when we went in, Jim, is we pulled all the plugs on the ice machines and the jukebox and, you know, anything that could make noise. Yeah, makes sense. And so went dark and started to investigate what was happening. And Lynn had been hearing her name called. So I know on your show that I've heard many people say that they've heard their name called.

That's a common occurrence, right? Yeah. And that was happening. People that were working there, Jason, Lynn, Barry, Tito, you know, the bartender, they were all hearing their name called. So I don't, you know, we've never figured out what that phenomena is. but I think it's to distract or just to let you know that they're there. So we went into the basement and I found an old mirror that was there and it was just propped up with nothing else, just kind of a bunch of dust all over it.

And when I took a picture of that whole area, I think I sent to you a photograph that was pretty telling. and it actually looked like a beam of light that was coming out of that basement area, not necessarily out of the mirror, but through that area. And one of our investigative team felt that it was like a cold breeze that had shot right through him. So we knew we had something going on specifically in the basement. In the meantime, upstairs, the jukebox that we unplug started playing. Oh, man, that's one of the things. When things are unplugged, and we've had stories like this before, the electrical things unplugged and they start to operate.

Go ahead. Yeah, isn't that strange, you know? And then the ice maker, you know, started up and we thought, oh, wow. The toilets started flushing in the men's room during the investigation. It was quite an evening. Let me tell you. Doors were opening and closing. The TV over the bar went on and off.

And I sent you an actual, like a video clip of the bucket behind the bar. You know how the bartenders usually put tips in the bucket behind their bar. Nobody was behind the bar. The chairs were up that evening. We had gone silent. And there's a video of the bucket just kind of falling over on its own while we were there. So I think the most telling thing about this particular. location is I am a medium as well and I heard whatever it was say I'm so weak and I couldn't

figure out what that was all about but it almost felt like a game of hide and go seek in that whole restaurant so it was an extraordinarily haunted place I want to say that in the end what we came to was this that There was a cue ball that was also levitating off of the pool table. And it would shoot particularly at this one patron and kind of then fall to the floor. So Lynn and I were trying to figure out what that was all about. And there's a backstory to all of this. There was a young man whose wife was having a bit of an affair on him.

and he hung himself because he was so distraught, okay, about the affair. And the wife and the new boyfriend after he passed away used to frequent writers on Maine. And so it was that man who was basically having a tantrum because he saw his wife with the new man at the bar. Oh. And he was throwing the beer bottles around. and he was making the jukebox go off and he was doing all kinds of things and so we were able to identify that what had happened was is he hadn't thought it through he hung himself i was using tarot cards at night got the hanged man he had hung himself and uh because of all of that okay

he he was just frustrated he wasn't there by anything more than his want to be there so we talk about earthbound spirits right but he wasn't bound by by anything more than his anger at what had happened. And when his wife and the new boyfriend came into the bar, he would pitch a hissy and start acting up. So we know that that was at least one of the entities. I think it was the main one because after we were able to kind of get him crossed over, calm him down, whatever. And keep in mind that if somebody wants to stay somewhere, you know, people are dead or alive, you can't make anybody do anything dead or alive, right? They either have to want to leave or they're not going to want to leave.

This gentleman was tired of kind of witnessing, you know, his ex-wife at that point in time and this new person coming into the bar. That's why the cue ball kept getting thrown at him. Wow. So, yeah, it was, it was extraordinary, you know. So it was probably one of the most haunted locations I've ever been in. And I was personal friends with Ed and was a paranormal expert on The Conjuring, the movie The Conjuring. So I've seen a lot, but that was amazing. You never know what the backstory is, you know, behind some of these hauntings.

Well, it's true. Most of the time we get a story, most people say, well, I don't know who that was. Or I kind of look something up and it might have been this person. But to have such a direct thread to it, that's kind of a neat aspect of this story. And so intense. So it's one of the more intense places you've seen. would say. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, for sure. And a lot of people involved. And we also found out that Lynn had had an exorcism within her family. Okay, so there was a twist to all of that. Okay. So

the Archdiocese of Hartford had been involved with some kind of an exorcism generations prior. So there was a real question mark. Like was Lynn creating the kind of the poltergeist? activity around her in some way? Like was she some kind of an attractant to all of this? And it turned out that that was not the case. And the I'm so weak, that comment, the way we were able to connect all of this is that Lynn knew this young man who had come in and he gave enough information that she placed who it was.

And she knew who it was. Yeah, that's really interesting to tie it back. Well, Karen, you're a lot braver than I am because I'm safe. here behind my little mic. But good for you and others like you. Annie, welcome to the show and tell us what happened. Well, thank you for having me. I love your show, so it's kind of fun to be on here. Thank you. So my story is about 13 and a half years ago. We had trouble having kids. We had our first. He was about three at this time.

and his dad went to work early in the morning, and his habit would be to come in with me and lay in bed until it got bright outside. So we're laying. It's probably six in the morning, and he said, Mommy, there's a girl. And I opened my eyes and looked around and was like, where? Where is a girl? And at this time, I was about, we knew we were having twins. I was about 12, 13 weeks pregnant.

And I said, oh, okay, where is a girl? And he said, in your tummy. And I said, oh, okay. And I felt so much better because I was expecting to see like some girl in our room. Right. And I said, well, what about the other baby? And he said, he's a boy and he looks just like you. He has blonde hair and light eyes.

And I was like, oh, okay, well, what about the girl? What does she look like? And he said, she has brown hair and brown eyes and dark skin. And I was like, oh, okay. So then when we had our ultrasound to see what the babies were, the first baby came up as a boy. And my husband got super excited and he's like, oh, our son was right. That's so wild. And then they ultrasound sounded the other baby and it was a girl.

And we're like, that's crazy. No way that he's going to get exactly what they look like. So sure enough, we get to 36 weeks. We have the babies. The baby boy comes out. He's light-skinned like me and has blonde hair and light eyes. And our little girl comes out next and she has olive skin and black hair and brown eyes. I mean, what you could tell we're going to be brown eyes.

And we just looked at each other in the operating room. like, that is so crazy. But he predicted it exactly. And now he's almost 17 and we're like, do you remember that? He doesn't remember it. But we joke all the time, man, we should, you know, go win the lottery or try to win the lottery or something. But it was just such a cool experience that he was right on everything.

There is something about. babies in utero and vice versa. You know, it reminds me of a story that was kind of the inverse of that. This was years ago on the campfire. And a woman recalled being a child. She called in. She said, you know, I remember one time as a child, and I can't remember how old. She was 10 years old or something.

I said, Mommy, do you remember the time we went to the carnival and you were wearing a polka-dress? do you remember that time? And her mom said, yeah, I do remember that time. I was pregnant with you, and that was a maternity dress. That's wild. That's so wild. But I believe it. And she didn't go to the carnival any other time with her, I don't think,

and I don't believe she ever wore that dress again or something. Yeah, that's the general gist of it. But there is something, there's something. and that energy. And also, you know, I also believe, you know, I often say there's that golden thread between family members. There's a connection. And it makes sense to me that that connection starts, you know, in utero when the babies

are there and then the loved ones are there. And it sounds like, and your son being young, I also believe that the younger kids are, the more connection they have to the other side, maybe including small children. So it all makes sense to me, Annie. It all makes sense to me. Pretty cool. Good. Well, thank you so much for the chance to share and to be on your show.

And thank you because, as I tell all the storytellers, if we don't have stories, we don't have a show. Thank you so much and stay spooky. Thank you. Stay spooky. When we're doing the campfire, some stories stand out. And we deal with a lot of stories of sadness and passing. and a lot of the times maybe it's an older person who's passed, like a grandparent, somebody in their 90s or, you know, and it's sad, but they've lived a long life and many times a good life. And that's different than the kind of story that we have today because we have a story of a young family really dealing with an unspeakable tragedy.

Lela is here from California. and she's going to share with us what happened just recently. And Layla, thank you for joining us. Again, my deepest sympathies, my goodness, so you're just dealing with this very recent occurrence. Tell us what happened. Well, hi, Jim. Thank you for having me on.

So a little background to kind of give everyone an idea on July 27th of 26th. My husband was tragically killed. in a hit and run. So he was the pedestrian. And from what I understand, he was just killed instantly. There was no getting around that. And I know it sounds cliche, but he truly was my soulmate. We got married after five months of meeting and our birthdays, except for the month that we were born, were identical. And we would have had our 11-year anniversary. this year. And through all those years, we had only spent about eight days apart because we were just addicted to being together. And truly, the honeymoon phase never ended. And what really, really

hurts is that we had struggled 10 years with infertility. And the day he died, we were 20 days away from our first embryo transfer. So that really hurt. you know, but from a spiritual perspective, you know, I do practice Reiki and meditation. And I just, you know, having listened to your show for years and everything, I didn't really expect to hear from Peter soon. I thought like with the intense grief and the trauma and the shock and the sorrow and the loneliness that I wouldn't hear from him at all. And so it only took four hours after his passing to hear from him, what happened is that on his side of the family, they have a lady friend with mediumship gifts. And so while I was still at the hospital,

she texts me. And she asked me if I was okay to receive messages. And of course, I was like, yes, please, you know, I need to hear. And so she begins to tell me that my husband, that Peter was communicating to her, he said that one moment he was here and the next moment he was there, like snap. Wow. He said that he did see his body and that it was broken beyond repair and that even if he wanted to get back again, there was just no way back. And he said that his immediate concern was for, I had called my family on the way

to the hospital after I got that horrible call. And I sat outside of the room where they were trying to bring him back. And I was just sitting there alone with all these people staring at me. And it was horrible. It was the longest time of my life. And yeah, I guess, you know, he knew that. And he just wanted someone to get to me as soon as possible. He did tell me through her that he was so sorry for the grief and the mess that this was going to

cause. And he also wanted to tell me to pay the bills. And she said that he said that kind of a joking way because he was the one that paid the bills. And, you know, he was, he is the main source of income for our family. So he kept stressing that, you know, I have to take charge and I have to do that. And then he also said that he's always going to be by my side and that all. All I have to do is keep living because, again, I did tell him, I would say, if anything happens to you. Like, he wanted a motorcycle and I was like, no, no, no, no. You know, and I told him if something happens to you, if you die, then I die too. And I think in spirit, that really bothered him because he knew, you know.

So he just said, you know, keep on living, keep on living. You have to keep taking steps forward. don't stop the process, keep going. And so then I had asked her, did he say anything about the embryos that we have? We have two. And so she said that it was the first thing that he mentioned and that he jokes that he got to meet them before I did. And I guess he kind of said that in a really light like ha-ha manner, like I'm with them when I met them. when I met them before you.

So, again, I didn't expect to hear from him this soon. And that night, I went into a dream where I was in a dark room. And what I can only think is this is the veil, because it was dark and there was a wall, almost liquid and foggy. And I saw him on the other side. So I run up to the wall and I put my hand up to it like this. And he puts his hand up to it. And we're barely, barely touching.

And he steps back and he conveys this thought to me that from now on, we're only ever going to be, you know, this far apart with teeth with his thumb and his, you know, pointer finger. He makes like a hairline, you know, space saying, you know, that's as far apart as we're going to be from now on. And just that he, you know, he loves me and he'll be there. And so not too long after that. The second night, I go into another dream. And then from there, it was where I had, I'm now seeing his ascension into heaven. On the left side is all of his family.

On the right side is all of my family. And I can see pets running around in front of him that we used to have. And he's in the middle. And then I could see. and he's looking at me and I could see, I guess, his version of Jesus, very cool, like kind of hippie, nice highlights with the gown and the, he had highlights with the Birkenstock shoes and, you know, the Burgundy sash. And my husband turns around and he sees this and he kind of puts his haunts over his mouth and he, you know, kind of grabs his head and disbelief and kind of bends down,

like he's about to meet his, like, most famous rock star or something. And he runs up to him and they embrace and rock side to side holding each other and then they both turns back to me. And again, I'm seeing this from a distance. And then Peter begins to lay stones down, like stepping stones, and he takes a step back and he puts another stone and he takes a step back. And then both of them beckoned me to come forward. And they convey the feeling to me that, again, I have to just keep getting up every day, taking the steps forward. In other words, all I have to do is get up and keep the routine going and that they will put the miracles in place. And so at that time, it was really hard to take because I was not in a good position without him here,

I mean, literally physically and just in general, it was very stressful. So then the third night, and this is every single. night something's happening. The third night, around three, four, five o'clock in the morning, I'm being shaken awake. And so I'm getting ideas and thoughts put into my head, and I'm trying to bring that into my waking consciousness. And so I sit up in the dark, and I feel from my nights down, I grab a phone, and I start texting everything that's coming to my mind. And then I kind of go back to sleep and then I, the next morning I pick up my phone and I have seven text messages from Peter and I almost had a heart attack. Wow. And what it said, well, I guess in the darkness,

I had grabbed his phone and I had texted myself. But the information that was in the text was like subscriptions that he had that I wasn't aware of and telling me, you know, to, um, accounts that he had and moving bills here and there. And also, for Halloween, we dressed up like Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. So he was like, you know, think happy thoughts. Um, you know, keep positive about the IVF. It will happen because at that time, too, three days after he passed my insurance stop. So we were using his insurance for IVF. And I actually had to cancel the whole process. I stopped the medications and everything. And he just told me, like, don't stop.

Keep going. Keep going. And I just didn't know how that was possible. But again, he was the main source of income. It was his insurance. I was in trouble. I was just going through so much. But I handed this information over to my friend that was helping me figure everything out.

And she was like, yeah, this information wasn't in the documents or in your bank accounts or anything. So she went ahead and, you know, we were. trying to figure things out. And then finally, the fourth night, I know, every night, I wasn't sleeping very much. So anyway, I kept going with IVF in the fourth night. Again, around the same time in the morning, I was shaken awake. And this time, my parents had been, my mom was sleeping next to me and my dad was sleeping on the floor. They wouldn't leave me alone, which I'm so grateful before, but that time, again, shaken awake and I sit up in bed and I turned on the lights and I

just started shaking. And even though it's like, you know, the dead of summer, I was so cold. And I could feel the static electricity in the air and my breathing felt shallow. And I can only, what I think is it was, he was trying to channel through me, which I've never done before. But it was incredible. So I tell my mother. my mom grabs her cell phone and she starts recording. And I just begin, again, you know, keep safe, watch this, do this, and just more instructions. And then he, I feel this urge to call my sister at like 3.30 in the morning. And so I call her up and she answers not even on the first ring. And I apologize for calling her that early, but she tells me she was sitting up in bed trying to like

pray and communicate to him too. And so I tell her, well, I think I've got him on the line. And her being such a skeptic and always teasing me about this kind of thing, she tells me, okay, well, who's in the room with me? And so I let my mind go blank and I can see, you know, her daughter on the very edge with her neck crooked and I tell her she needs to fix her neck or else it's going to hurt in the morning, her son in the middle. I could see her sitting up against the headrest, holding the baby with the phone and she confirms that's true. So that wasn't enough for her. So then she wants to know what she wants, she asked me what she's doing with her fingers. And so I, again, I just see her like fidgeting, twiddling her fingers and she said yes. And that wasn't enough. So then she wants to know what she's,

you know, she asked me what she's wearing. And, you know, I see this jersey knit gray gown with little caricatures on it. And she confirmed that was true. And then after that, she just began asking questions and it was just coming out. I even greeted her after as like, hey, tuts, and like, that's what he would call her. And so, you know, it was, it was incredible. I just, it's all there. I haven't watched it yet because I'm not ready to see it. But yeah, that's what happened. But ultimately, you know, he promised that, you know, he would be by my side and he would be protecting me every step of the way. And it totally is true. I have my spiritual mentor, her name is Nancy Myers. She's known as the orb lady in California. She does spirit photography. So at the celebration of life, she came and

was taking pictures. And I know, maybe I'll share them with everyone somehow, but right over me when I'm giving the speech, there are these orbs. And you could see them. And it's just incredible. But again, the miracles that he promised they are coming true. Somehow, you know, I was reached out to and paying for IVF for the rest of the remainder of the embryo transfer did happen on the 17th. And on Wednesday, I get to find out if, you know, the embryo took. And then my sister did open a go-fund me. And I didn't think it was going to get anywhere. But it was enough to help me stay in my house for at least a year to a year and a half. And that covered a lot of, you know, the upfront expenses. But, you know, it's just, I think about how horrible and bad this is.

But when I think about all these little miracles that have happened since, it's just, I just can't believe that. Like, I'm here and talking to you and I'm okay, you know, that he really is, you know, they're still helping me. And, and first of all, I've got to restate once again. again, my greatest sympathies, especially this being so young, so recent, just horrible. Do you think the reason maybe he's communicating with, you know, we talked a lot of people who have loved ones who pass away and there's a tie there, but it doesn't seem to be as strong. Do you think it's, do you think it's the fact that it happened so suddenly? Do you think it's the fact that he was so, and you're both so young? Do you think it's just because of the bond you have? Why do you think

this is happening to you maybe to a greater extent than the average person who loses somebody so close to them? I feel truly that, and I believe this now more than ever before, I really feel that the physical death is not the end of our consciousness, or I feel that there truly is life after we die, and there is a way to communicate. Again, I believe Peter really was a twin flame and a soulmate, and we were so closely connected and bonded. But not only that, like you said, the tragic nature of how he was just taken instantly, right, as we were going to start what we would call the golden years of our life, becoming parents and getting close to, you know, retiring in about 15 years and then getting to have children and, you know, finally getting to

that chapter. So there was so much. And again, you know, he, he pretty much had so much unfinished business. And I was so lost that first week. I didn't know what to do. And I feel that, you know, he felt like he had to stick around and help me get through it. And just like those stepping stones that I saw him placing, you know, during that second night, that's what I was doing. You know, I just, I kept going even though things were stopping for me, even though I didn't know how I was going to make it the next couple months. But somehow, some way, you know, it kept happening. And I just, gosh, I just really appreciate you, you know, letting me come on and telling the story, because it is part of my grieving process. And it does help me to heal. And I just hope that

anybody else in this situation to know that, you know, for me anyway, through meditation and my spirituality and raising my vibration is Peter, you see. to say, you know, Peter Pan and Wendy and Tinkerbell, like, happy thoughts. And when I do that, I do feel him. It's when I'm really down in the grief that, you know, that I can't. But when I raise it and I feel him, he's there. Laila, thank you for sharing it. Bless you. God bless you and you and your family. And I'm so sorry for your loss that you've had to go through this. but you're showing great strength, and it sounds like he's there for you all along.

And you have truly kind of a multifaceted story. Tell us what happened. Yeah, thanks for having me on, Jim. So this was a pretty cool and very special to me, a visitation dream that I had back in September of 2020. And so the beginning is kind of going to just sound like a normal dream, but it all comes together at the end. So the dream starts and I'm walking through this amazing giant park and it has these rolling green hills, blue skies. It kind of looks like that old, Microsoft desktop wallpaper. Oh yeah, I remember that. Yeah. So, and then there's some people around this park, and, but they're all kind of odd. They're doing acrobatics and magic tricks.

And so I keep walking through this space, and I get to this building, and I go inside, and it ends up being one of my old college classrooms. And there's probably about half full with people. And so I sit down and we're all waiting. there and when no one knows what we're waiting there for, we're just sitting there waiting. And this man comes in and, you know, he makes an announcement. He's saying like, listen, like I'm a magician and I can bring back one person that's deceased for you to talk to for a few minutes.

Whoa. So I'm thinking at this point, I'm like, wow, that's pretty cool. You know, I, I, there's a few people I'd love to talk to, you know. So as people are going out with him into the hallway, while he does this, I'm thinking to myself, I'm like, okay, who do I want to talk to? And then the first person I thought of was my mother's mother. So I am waiting in this room. And one girl who went out into the hallway with him comes back and she looks like visibly shaken.

She looks almost like she had some kind of like mental break from the process. And I'm thinking at that point, again, this is all a dream. Thinking again at that point, you know what? Maybe this isn't for me. Maybe I should get out of here. So I leave. and I'm walking back through that field and then eventually I end up back at my house. And so I'm inside my house and I wake up in the dream.

So I'm still in the dream, but in the dream I've woken up within the dream. And so the way my house was set up is that it was two stories and all the bedrooms were at the back of the house. So you can't see the front door from upstairs unless you're halfway down the stairs and you can kind of like peer around the wall. So I sit up in my bed in the dream and I have this feeling. I'm like, oh, someone's at the door. Like I don't hear anything. I don't see anything. I'm just like someone's at the door.

And so I start coming out down the hallway to the top of the stairs. And I feel this like immense. Like I don't even know how to describe it. This immense energy. It was almost like brought me to my knees just like my knees were weak. I was scared. It was like a vibration. static, like, I don't know how to describe it.

And obviously, like, I couldn't see the front door, and I have no proof of this, but it felt like almost like a little opening, like this like crazy energy. And so, you know, so that energy kind of lessened. And so I knew that whatever was coming through had come through at that point. And at that point, I hear someone coming up the stairs. And I'm like, oh, no, because I have no idea who. who it is, what it is, if it's good, bad, something else. So I am glued to the spot with fear because I have no idea what's going to come around the corner.

And then, you know, a couple seconds later, around the corner comes my grandmother. And she is, you know, not founding, but, you know, walking up the stairs on her own accord, which when she passed, she was very ill. I walked. So I immediately just run down the stairs. Like all my fear goes away. Run down the stairs. I body her in a hug. And she doesn't even flinch. Like she has all her strength and everything that I remember for when I was young. And, you know, then we say a whole bunch of, you know, mushy stuff. And, you know, she says that she loves us and she misses us and all of that. And then the last part I remember of the dream was we're sitting at the top of the same. And stairs together. And she goes, and this is a little bit of a cliffhanger if I ride in for next time. She goes, you know, your other grandmother was jealous. She wanted to come. Oh. And that was just like her type of sense of humor. You know, she was a tough old

Brooklyn lady. So I wake up from the dream at that point in real life. So now we're in real life. And it's sometime in September. And I wake up and I don't immediately remember the dream, but it's slowly coming back to me as the morning goes on. And then I had this thought. I'm like, hmm, I remember my grandmother's birthday was sometime in September. I don't remember when, though, because she passed when I was around 13. So I'm like, you know what? Let me call my mother. So I call my mother. I don't tell her about the dream. I just say, hey, would you happen to remember when grandma's birthday was. And she goes, oh, yeah, she would have been 91 today. And so for me, that really cemented the whole experience. You know, I had never had any kind of signs or dreams

or anything up her up until that point. So it was really special. And I haven't had anything from her since. And so it was very special to me, you know, to be able to see her again. I love it. Again, and I think you even use this in your submission, too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence. That is fantastic. Thank you so much. I really love that story, Amanda. Yeah, thanks, Jim. So I'll just set the scene for the listeners. I'm here in central Arizona. And my home is right on the base of a national forest. We're at 5,500 feet elevation. So we have clear skies and a lot of wildlife. So typically, I'm an early riser. I wake up around 4 a.m. and I go for long walks in the morning. and this particular morning, sorry, just to say again, there's a lot of wildlife, like I said.

There's havalinas, coyotes, snakes, tarantulas. So you really have to be, like, you know, aware of your surroundings when you're walking out here because I've encountered all those on my walks in the morning. So you'll have a very bad day if you sneak up on them. So, again, very clear skies, lots of stars. out, you could just see everything for miles and miles. And my walks are typically about an hour long. So I was about 100 yards from my house. And while you're walking, we have the mountains here on my left. And then just open skies, prairie land, ranch land, and mountain ranges, you know, towards my right, let's

say. Well, I'm walking there tonight. I'm looking at the stars. I'm kind of looking ahead of me, seeing where I'm going. And I just see this black dot. And it looks. like, I don't know, like maybe a really dark bird coming straight at me. And I'm watching it. And then pretty soon it's a complete V shape, solid black line. Huh. And I go, okay, is this migrating birds, you know? Like, what is this?

As soon as I, like, think that to myself, it kind of bellies up a little bit. And it's completely black, like a triangle from what I can see. And it's only like, you know, maybe a couple hundred yards, 150. It's closing in on me, straight at me. Very low, like tree line. And so I'm like, okay, this is the black triangle that everybody, you always hear, you know, the black triangle UFO. Right. And I'm looking at it and I go, it typically everybody says there's the lights on the, you know, on the corners of it.

No lights. As soon as I'm thinking that to myself, I'm like, okay, it is one of those, maybe. It comes belly up on me. And it was actually shaped like almost diamond shaped and it was thick. And it looked like the shape of a manoray without a tail. And what it was doing is it was cloaking itself. It had the skin on it was an iridescent shimmering. Hard to explain because I've never seen anything.

I've never seen anything like it before. I couldn't, you know, picture it. But what it reminded me of like, you know, the 80s movies, like, let's say, Predator, when he does his cloaking mechanism and it kind of shimmeres over his whole body and you can kind of see him. But then it's, you know, he's invisible. Right. He's doing that all over the skin of it. Huh. And so I got like, and I'm looking at it.

I'm like, okay. And it comes right belly up right up on my, you know, on my face above me. And it blacks out. All the stars is completely blacked it out. And it was like disappearing and then coming back, disappearing, coming back. Like just very quickly. comes belly up. I'm looking at it, just taking it all in.

Like, this is amazing. There's nobody out at this time. It's super early in the morning. It's, you know, 4.30 in the morning or whatever. And it goes to, it's hugging the mountain range where I'm at. So I'm right below it. And it's going to my left. So I get a good view of like its side and its thickness.

It was probably about 15 feet of thickness and about 40 to 50 of diameter. So it just cruises, like I said, it came straight towards me. Like it was not there. It was there. It bellied up on me so I could see it, shimmered. It was like cloaking itself in and out. And it started, it just, it banked its, it banked to my left. So it banked to its right.

And I could see it. And then it went horizontal with the skyline again. And I'm watching it, just watching it go. And once it got about 100 feet in front of me, it would just, disappeared wasn't there anymore could not see it at all so i was leftly enough to see it come in and kind of manifest itself yeah and then once it was it saw go belly up saw it completely and then once it just straightened itself out on the horizon like as soon as it got perfectly straight with the horizon it was just gone like it i didn't even it didn't like move or anything it just was

completely disappeared from reality wow see it at all so it either just cloaked itself which I think that's probably what it did. But it was a very cool experience because it was more like, it seemed like it was maybe nuts and bolts, but I mean it would be so far advanced than anything. But to me, it seemed like it was alive. Like it was an actual living some type of craft. Like it's weird.

So, in other words, maybe it was not a craft that people got into. but it was an actual living biological thing in some way. Yeah, it could have been something. It seemed to me like the way it moved and the way it was just kind of interacting. Like, I was the only thing out there. It must have seen me spot on. It came directly towards me. And it just showed itself.

Like, it just came belly up right when I'm observing it very close. I mean, 40, 50 feet in the air. Yeah. And like just went, hello, basically. And it was like, look what I can do. It was all, which amazing is like it was erodescent. Like it was like a kind of reminded me of like when sea corals have like light shined on them and they kind of. Yes.

Yes. Their beautiful colors, you know, kind of did that. Lumincent. Luminousin. Yeah, it was like a little light shade of purple and black and light, you know, and almost like electrical feeling all over its whole body of it. Yeah, it was pretty cool. It was real quick. It was amazing.

I'm glad it happened to me. You know, it was cool. Usually people are with me and, you know, I got home and told my wife and she was like, that's cool. And I'm like, yeah, it was really cool. I wish you were there with me, you know. It would have been something to experience. But it happened just by myself and it was a cool experience.

Well, I will say this. You know, I just did an interview, just posted it. And I'm not sure when this will air, but we're recording this on August 25th. Just on August 25th, I released a podcast on. the paranormal podcast with Jacques Valet, who is a legendary UFO researcher. Just to know, if you're not familiar, folks, he is a gentleman who's one of the characters

from close encounters of the third kind was based on. So, I mean, we're talking legendary status. He's been researching this for decades. I would say that he's on anybody's top probably two or three list of active researchers on this. Maybe very well, maybe number one. And I think he's always come from the perspective, and I don't want to speak for him. But, you know, we kind of simplistically looked at this, I think, in the early days.

I know that when I first started thinking about this as a kid and then even when starting to do these shows, I thought, they are ET, they are craft, they're coming down, they're visiting us. Very much just kind of like an advanced version of NASA with little green men, you know. just their technology. And I'm not totally ruling that out, but it seems like this phenomenon is much, or phenomena, they are much more complex. They're much harder to understand. They're much more multifasted. You look at the work of Jacques Valet in his writings. You look at the work of people like John Keel in his writings, the Mothman prophecies. It's not just as simple as ET coming from out there in a craft and visiting us. That might be

a part of it or it might not. It might be interdimensional. It may be time travelers. You know, many people think they may be us. You know, I don't know what it is, but it is weird, and it is real. It is real. I mean, you just need to look at the stuff that is coming out, and I know

people are kind of ignoring the UFO files. We talk about that on the paranormal report with DAR when, you know, it's kind of like it come out with these UFO files and, you know, you see a little blurb and everybody's like, okay, it's time for barbecue. You know, nobody cares. But it's amazing the things that are coming out

when we hear recordings of the Apollo missions where they're talking about seeing things around the moon are these different things. And it's just like, people are like, meh. And it's like, what? What? This is real. This is ongoing.

People are seeing these things every day. Does that mean that every sighting is, you know, a true UAP, maybe not. You know, people can be mistaken. Some people, not you, but some people might make stuff up. But there's enough there there that there's something definitely going on. So that's why I always want to encourage, always want to encourage experiences to share their story on the campfire. So, I mean, what do you think it was or do you just leave it open as a mystery?

Yeah, it is just going to always be a mystery. You know, I'm a rational person, you know, I've grown children, you know, I'm a working person, and I don't think I'm special in any way. And I've had two, you know, sightings in my lifetime. And, you know, one was back, like I said, earlier was in 2005 before this even blew up. So I know they're real. They are real. They're out there. And you just got to pay attention. And, you know, maybe someday you'll see one. That's true. Keep your eyes. to the sky. One of the nice things about this job is you get to meet a lot of nice people. And one of our nicest campfire callers and community members is Dr. Steve from Alabama. And I imagine that when you are a physician for many years, you hear a lot of stories. And Dr. Steve is going to share a

couple of them with us that play right to our strength here at the campfire. Dr. Steve, thank you for joining us. Tell us what happened. Well, first off, I want to be clear, I've been in the woods all my life, and I personally had never seen Bigfoot or any type of cryptid. I'd like to one day, but I never have. So after I had my ghostly experience, I started asking my patients around Halloween if they'd ever had anything odd or unusual happen, and if they'd mind sharing it. And surprisingly, pretty much every one of them had at least one or two stories. And most of them ended up being those stories.

But one year I had two patients that shared Bigfoot stories with me that were kind of unique. So the first one was a middle-aged lady. She'd been a patient for a while, knew her well, a very normal, sane person. And she said when she was growing up, her family lived in a house out in the middle of the woods. and her little brother and her cousin loved to play in the woods. They'd stay out there all day if they were loud. And one summer, the boys were about 10 and she was about 12. She said they were out playing like usual when all of a sudden she heard them running towards

the house, just screaming and hollering. And as they came out of the woods, they just ran right past her straight to the house, ran in, slammed the door behind them. And so she went in to see what in the world had gone on. She thought somebody was hurt. And so she gets in there and said, they're just, terrified and when they finally calmed down enough to talk they said they'd seen a big foot and uh they said they were just out playing like normal and they heard a strange noise so they walked over towards it

and they saw a bigfoot said it was you know bigger than a normal man really hairy and the oddest thing was was that it was perfectly white and uh they watched it for just a little bit and then it turned and looked at them and that's when they got scared it took off running they were afraid it was going to chase them or something. So she said, I don't know what they did or didn't see, but whatever it was, you know, it really terrified them. And they wouldn't even go back out in the woods for the longest time after that. And I thought, you know, it's kind of curious. I've never heard of a white big foot other than maybe the Yetty or something, but didn't think much more about it. Then the next day, I have a sweet little lady. It's about 75. And again, a long-term

patient, know her well. She's, you know, got all of her mental. faculty is very sharp. And when I asked her, her daughter was in the room with us and the lady said, yeah, I've got a Bigfoot story. Her daughter starts shaking her head like, mom, please, don't tell this. You're crazy. And so they go back and forth for a minute and she said, you know, no, I want to tell them. And I reassured her. I said, you know, I've had some crazy things happen. There's nothing she could say that would surprise me or make me think she's off. So she said she was driving home one day, It was in the summer, early afternoon, and the road she was on had really dense woods on either side of it. And as she's driving down, she catches something out of the corner of her left eye, heading towards the car.

So she hits the brakes and thinks it's probably a deer or something running towards her. When she turns and looks, she said it was a big foot. And said it ran right in front of the car. It reached out and touched the hood as it passed her and then ran on off into the other woods. And she said, you know, this thing was at least seven foot tall. And the two things that stood out most to her were when it touched the car hood, the hair and beneath the arms was extremely long.

And the other thing, she said it was white. And her daughter starts shaking her head against the mom, you know, told you, this is crazy. And I said, that's really interesting because yesterday I heard a story from somebody else about a white big foot. And I asked them where they were from. And they live in a little town that's in Etowahua County.

And so at the end of the day, I reached back out to the first patient and, you know, ask her if you mind telling me where they lived. And again, it was a place in Edwa County. So I get online and I start looking for a white Bigfoot in Alabama. And I found several articles about the white thing, T-H-A-N-G of Alabama. And apparently it's been reported as long as there's been settlers in Alabama. And before that, the Native Americans reported hairy men. And usually they were brown or dark, but there were a few.

reports of them being white as well. Since, I guess, the last hundred years, most of these sightings in Alabama happen in the north central part in this little triangle defined by Edewa, Jefferson, and Morgan counties. And those lie in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains are there. So, you know, I never heard of such. It fascinated me that, you know, there were already a lot of stories about this. And, you know, these two patients didn't know each other. They weren't selling me anything. And, uh, you know, they came across as very sincere. So at the very least, they definitely believed what had happened to them. And, you know, I didn't have any reason to lie about it. So I don't have any firsthand experience with it. But, uh, their stories were

definitely quite credible in my mind. Yeah, you know, sometimes when it comes to Bigfoot, I get kind of skeptical. I'm like, ah, they should have found a body. They should have found this and that. But who am I to doubt, people who have lived around the woods and near the woods and, and hunters and forestry workers and people have spent their lives in rural areas. They know the woods like the back of their hand because the first thing it comes up, oh, so they saw a bear. It's like, these people know what a bear looks like, right? So who am I to say that they're not seeing something?

Now, what that is, is it an animal? Is it an interdimensional traveler? Is it a time? I don't know what it is. But it sure seems like they're seeing something. and just kind of the synchronicity of you getting those stories almost back to back. That's amazing. Yeah, I'm in that same camp.

I'm going to have to see it to believe it. But I definitely don't rule it out. You know, and they, again, are very credible people. And it's just hard to imagine so many people imagining something that, like you said, they're very savvy about the woods and, you know, what all goes on out there. So it made me think a lot for sure. Yeah. A lot of my family came from West Virginia,

and a lot of those people were hunters and fishermen and that kind of thing. And I was around enough of those people to know that they knew those woods. So again, it gives me a greater respect for the fact that there are people who really know what goes on in those woods. And they know a bear from not a bear. And I will say this, anybody out there listening, if you've had a cryptid experience now, We've been recently saying, you know, we welcome UFO stories. We're getting more UFO stories, which is very cool. But we also welcome cryptid stories because that's part of this mystery that we're all pursuing.

And thanks to Dr. Steve, you know, we've got a couple more great stories there. So do you feel that it kind of maybe, to your point, made you a little more open to the whole idea of Bigfoot? It really did when, you know, I'm talking to somebody that I know that, you know, is very credible, has no reason to exaggerate or make this up. And, you know, in the one lady's case, their daughter's like, please don't, you're going to embarrass us. You know, I think they're genuinely recounting,

you know, something that truly happened. And I don't know how you would misperceive something in the middle of the day that actually touches your car hood. Maybe there was some prankster in a white gilly suit running around. I just, I can't think of any way to explain if it makes sense. So I kind of have to give them a nod. They probably really saw what they said they saw. Indeed.

We appreciate it very much. And Jesse, I understand there was, well, there was a lot of activity at your location, and there's still a lot of activity of a different kind today. Thank you for joining us and tell us about the place and what happened.

Yeah, so I, back in 2014, bought an old haunted, well, I didn't know it's haunted time, but it was an old brothel and saloon dating back to the 1800s, 1881 actually. And when I found it, it was kind of like the neighborhood I saw. It had just been sitting basically vacant for about two years, you know, boarded up. It had bars on the windows and doors. just chain link fence around the property, weeds everywhere, and little, you know, lo and behold, it was heard in this really unique, like, kind of interesting roadside history.

With the being an old saloon and brothel, building with a kid allegedly stayed here back in 1881 when it was first built. Also, according to the family that built the property, they didn't trust the banks back then. So a lot of the money, they would hide in coffee can, and it's hidden on the property, and a lot of it still has not been found. So, you know, when I was getting ready to the clothes on the property,

it's like, okay, well, it has, you know, Billy the Kid, which is amazing, especially if you, you know, live in New Mexico, everybody, you know, everybody across the world, in fact. And then, you know, buried treasure, and then I learned that it was haunted. And, you know, for me, Jim, that's the trifecta, you know, Billy the Kid, Barry's right, during ghosts. It's like, all right, where do I sign?

So I've got a ton of stories from this place And we've gradually turned into A haunted inn called Painted Lady Bedin' Brew And this is an Albuquerque, of course. So instead of doing breakfast, Because I don't, I don't wake up early enough to do that Nor do I know how to cook. We do beer instead.

So we actually brew our own beer on site. And all the beers are named after lines from scary movies they grew up watching as a kid. So like we just launched a brand new beer the other day from Teen Wolf called Chase Cards and Bite the Mailman. So it's a fun place, but we've had a ton of stories. But the story I want to tell you and the listeners today is one that I haven't heard on any other paranormal podcast.

And I'm happy to call it back with tons of other stories from this place. But basically what happened, if I can get right into it, Jim, is in February of 2020. So I was living at the property then. So at this point, it'd already been about eight years and I've been living here the entire time in one of the rooms, the owner's suite, basically. Right. And when we did the renovation on the property, there was, you know, 13 exterior doors, all these cool, original old Victorian style of hardware with skeleton keys like doors. But they were 130, 140 years old, so we couldn't use them. So I put one of them that was in decent shape into my shed.

And then at some point in 2018 or 19, I was feeling crafty and upcycled it into a headboard. So I had this old Victorian door that was one of the interior brothel doors turned into a headboard. So I'm sleeping at night. It was middle of the night and I hear this loud like boom. like a loud bang. And you know when you're sleeping and there's no context to it, you don't know if it was a, you know, a firecracker or a gunshot or a car backbiring.

You just woke me up. So as my eyes were adjusting to the darkness of the room, which I had blackout curtains at the time, and it was really dark. It was probably three or four in the morning. But my eyes started adjusting to the darkness and there was this whooshing noise coming out of the headboard and the room began to be filled with hundreds or maybe thousands of these

objects, these flat like one dimensional, maybe the size of like my head. They're all the regularly shaped and blacker than black. And I know people listening have heard this term on your podcast, another podcast, you know, blacker than black. And until you see it, you, you, like a void in the universe. That's it. Yeah, it was crazy. So against the blackness and the darkness of the room, these objects still stood out because they were just so dark.

And they just filled the room floor to ceiling and had this vortex. And there was hundreds of them. And they just swirled around the room just shooting out of the headboard. And I think it was just a portal that had opened up. And I just, it was at the right place to the right time, I guess. and just watch this thing happen for four or five minutes. And a lot of times, you know, I, after living there, I can kind of judge on whether something has like an ill intent towards me or not.

And it just didn't take away. So I just watched it for, you know, four or five minutes. Just like, you know, eyes on peaking underneath the blanket, just watching it. And then eventually I just went back to sleep. And it just was this amazing. It just feels like the universe put on this crazy spectral display that no one has seen before. And I got to see it. And it was just, it was amazing.

It reminds me a little bit of a story. Somebody told when they were a child, it was almost like hundreds of little robots. I think that's the way that they described it. They were a little, and they woke up and they saw it and they knew they were awake. It wasn't like they were asleep. and it wasn't a dream and then they went back to bed and the next day they were gone

and again this is probably a story from 15 years ago but it reminds me a little bit of that but I mean that's not all that goes on here I mean you said you had we got to keep a PG that you said there's a haunted headboard there's a lot of goings on

at this place yeah so the headboard I mean that was really an amazing experience and like I said it didn't feel scary and I always when these things happen it's usually the middle of the night and I go through into a test and make sure that I'm not sleeping, you know. And usually when this happens after it has gone or dissipated, whatever the energy is or wherever the spirit is, I just grab my iPhone and open up the notes app and start taking notes so I know what time it was, the date,

things that went on still have a better memory of it. So that was February of 2020. And then in August of 2020, Ghosts have been seen and shot an episode here. It was, you know, during the pandemic, things were crazy. This is before there was talk of like a vaccine or cure or anything. So it's still pretty scary times. And then, you know, they left and kicked up a whole bunch of activity. And I had a neighbor who actually, her family built the property back in 1800s.

And so a lot of the stories that I've learned are from her and her family members because it was all passed down, you know, just oral tradition. But she's in the Ghost of Ventures episode and she's a working psychic and medium and she does stuff all across the country. And she's like amazing. She's helped me out a bunch of times with stuff that's happened here. But I was walking her through after Ghost of Ventures filmed, you know, when I was pointing out the headboard and I was telling the story of the headboard opening up with the portal. And she says, well, yeah, it's a, it's. It's a doorway. And I was like, well, yeah, it's a door.

I know. And she says, no, it's a doorway. And I was like, yeah, no, I know. It's a door. And she goes, no, it's a doorway. And I was like, oh, okay. So they're seeing it on the other side as like a natural entrance to our world or, or, you know, something like that, I suppose.

But it just was the coolest sort of thing. But she made me take the headboard out. So I put it in my shed for like four or five years. And then I don't know if you know the guys from twin paranormal. while they're two twin brothers from Las Vegas. I know of them. I know of them, yeah. Yeah, they were real sweet. They were great. They filmed an episode here. And I was like, do you guys want to play with the headboard?

So I pulled the headboard out of the shed and put it in one of the rooms. And they were, you know, it's in the episode and they were messing with and stuff. And nothing happened. It only opened up that one time. But we ended up actually getting it into a bit that now sits outside on the property so people can come and, you know, sit on it and just get a feel for it and stuff. So it's no longer in the bed and brew itself. So it's the Painted Lady Bedin'Brew, right? That's the name of it.

Okay, very good. Well, Jesse, thank you for sharing. You know, again, these, I love history. And, you know, sometimes people go, I like the paranormal, but I don't like this whole history thing. And I'm like, that's part of it, man. That's part of it. The history.

And Nicola is here from Scotland to tell us about an experience and her

granddad. And we're so glad to have her on the show. Nicola, thank you so much. I know you've been listening for something like 13 years. I appreciate that. Thank you so much. And tell us what happened. Oh yeah, thank you Jim. It's nice to be on. So just to preface first, in Scotland, there's a word we call her granddad. It's spelled the D-I. So this story is about my die. That's how we would say that here. So my granddad was passing away, actively passing away. you know, it was, we knew it was going to be soon. He was in a care home. He was still in very good spirits, but we knew that the end was coming.

So I'm in bed at the time with my now ex-husband. We're in bed and I feel like I'm having a dream. And it's my granddad, my die, who leans to me in my dream, it feels like I'm in a dream, he puts his arm, his hand on my arm, and he leans in and he says, that's me a way hen, which is the hen is an affectionate term for a woman in Scotland. He just puts his arm on, that's me a way hen. And then I actually woke up and looked in the room and he wasn't there. And it was the same room as in the, you know, the dream or hesitation, whatever you may want to call it.

and I looked at the clock it was I don't know if you remember correctly now but it was something like quarter past two in the morning and the phone went very early in the morning and I said to my husband at the time I need to tell you I had a dream that

died died last night and then he gets up answers the phone and it's my mum saying die died about two people Yeah. And that was a, that's her confirmation. And he looked so well. You know, a lot of people say that, that they'll have a dream of a loved one that they've passed and then they wake up. And they've passed. They get a phone call. They get something like this. A very common kind of thing. The other thing you mentioned that seems to be extremely common is people will say when they see people in these visions or in these dreams, they all seem to be looking very well in good health. it sounds like he was not in particularly good health before he passed. So you were seeing him as he was when you knew him to be very healthy and very robust. So it all matches up. I, you know,

I book it down as to was a sign from your granddad. I really believe that. I believe that is the case. So, well, thank you, Nicola. Thank you so much for sharing this story. I think it's so important that other people know that there are signs from our loved ones. And when they have those signs, that they're not just imagining things, that this happens to millions of people all over the world. Nicola, thank you again and stay spooky. Thank you, James. She says she turned on the radio and somebody was talking about me. I don't know who that was, but whoever you are, thank you, because we wouldn't get

to hear this cool story. And this is a cool story because this seems like the definition of a head scratcher. Can't wait to hear it. I just know the basics. Janelle, welcome to the show. Tell us what happened. It's pretty wild. Yeah, so I live like five minutes from the airport. I have like basically my whole life. Like you hear planes going over me constantly. And it's really loud and they're not far away. They're very close up. Very, very big. Anyways, I was driving down a highway. I guess you call it a highway. Yeah, a highway. And the plane that I had seen was coming in the opposite direction of me. So I was driving and it was coming towards me, okay? Which I've seen my whole life. I see it all the time. I've driven towards them many times, you know. But this one, I looked up and I glanced back down

the road. And then what made me look back up is I noticed that it was still in the same spot. And I'm like, what the hell is that? So I look back up. And I look back up. And I, I could swear, though I know I'm positive. I'm 100% positive. It was dead still, not moving. And anyone who knows that's not possible with an airplane. So anyways, I stopped and I looked at. I kept glancing back up like five or six times before I couldn't see it anymore. And when I go to the next, I guess, street, the hard to make a U-turn to try and record it, okay, to get it on camera. And this thing is going at like full speed now, completely, completely going like as fast as planes go. Like, it's something I would have noticed, regardless, if it was coming towards me or not, you know?

So it had just, like, completely stopped in time and then just started going. Like, the second, of course, I tried to turn around and start recording. So was it, was this like a commercial jet, like, you know, 747 or, you know, 737? Yeah. Actually, it was a Southwest plane. Yeah, it was a Southwest, 747. So it was, like, suspended, like time had stopped. Yes. Time had stopped. And the only reason that made me even stop to like even think about is because I'm like, how is that plane still in the same spot? Because then they're coming towards you and they're going past you. I mean, they're going pretty fast. And this plane is not small.

Like I said, I live right by the airport. Okay. So anyways, I could see it in full view, but it's just not doing anything. I'm like, I looked again. I'm like, is that plane still? And then I'm like, no, you're tripping. I looked again. I'm like, no, it is.

So I was a lot more excited. And the only reason that I even said or thought of anything was because I watch a lot. of a paranormal call on camera, okay? And I watch a lot of it, probably more than a normal person. So I saw an episode one time of the exact same thing happened to someone else. And I was like, that's the only time I ever heard of something like this happening one other time. Okay. And they actually caught it on camera.

Now, let me ask you this. Did the sound continue or did the sound stop? When it was just there, could you tell if it was still making a sound or you couldn't tell? actually I didn't hear a sound now let you think about it but I listen to my music pretty loud in the chorus I mean that could have been the reason but no when you hear them like they're a lot I'm surprised you haven't heard it now because I'm outside which probably wouldn't have been a good idea to do this outside now to think about it but you know

well the thing that gives me a lot of credibility with this you're not new to airplanes you said you've lived there your whole life you've seen them your whole life and you know how an airplane is supposed to behave and it just doesn't suspend from mid-air. Now, let me throw out a possible explanation. And this is way out there. This is way out there. Let's say, and I don't necessarily believe this is a case totally, but some people think we're living in a simulation. Then other people, you know, I kind of wonder about this. Some people call simulation. Maybe it's not a simulation, it's our world, but maybe like they say that when, like if I turn my head, the idea with this is that that screen is painted.

I'm looking up the side of my studio wall here, that it's painted like a video game, it's rendered. You know, like if you're playing a video game, it renders the world as you turn to different things. It's not there the whole time it renders, but it happens so fast, it looks immediate.

That's the same resources. Can I show you how close the planes are real quick? Sure. Show us. One's actually going over me right now, if I can. Show us. Yeah, there you go. And if you're listening to the audio, there's a plane closely overhead. So I guess what my point is is that what if our world is rendered like a video game? And you know, we've all had it. We played a video game or something with television.

It'll be a glitch where there's a freeze frame. So basically, did you see a freeze frame? Was our world being rendered, whether that's just the way that it's shown to us by the creator or whether it's a simulation and the rendering? had a glitch and it just stopped. What do you think about that? That's just an idea. Right? Exactly what? Well, actually, no, I guess that would be exactly what I thought of, like a time slip almost, or something like that, or basically a glitch. Yeah. Basically what I thought of. Perfect wording board. Like I say, you know, these headscratcher, some of the best campfire stories end with a big old question mark, not a period. And, you know, when we think about haunted houses, we think about, you know, these old century homes, you know, that have been around for decades. decades, maybe centuries. But Cinnamon had quite a different experience, and she's going to tell us all about it. Cinnamon, welcome to the show and tell us what happened. So my, this was back in, I don't even remember the year, honestly.

I'm 32 now. This happened when I was about 12 years old, so quite some time ago. We moved into a brand new home in the high desert, and immediately things started happening in the home. from the moment we moved in I was seen the the shadow man you know the guy with the big hat and the trench coat that kids see

and I always hear stories about you know mostly kids seeing him so from the moment we moved in I was seen the hat man yes I was seen the hat man from the moment we moved in and it was weird things would happen things would get moved in the house

things would disappear We would hear footsteps. It was a two-story home. We would hear footsteps of someone like running around upstairs. And the reason I'm actually wanting to tell this story, I was on your show a couple years ago. I'm wanting to tell it again because recently, somehow a package that I was having delivered to the home I live in now ended up getting delivered to that address. And it was strange to me. I've never, I was a kid when I lived there. I only lived there for, I think, five years, never had packages delivered to that address. So the new owners somehow ended up with a package I was having delivered to the home. I'm in now, two completely different cities. And in my research, it looks like no one has lived in that home for more than two years since we sold it.

Interesting. every two years it's flipped around and someone else has purchased it. So to me that's very interesting because when we were moving out of that home, it was like, let's say a Friday night. It was my mother and my two brothers and I, we were downstairs watching a movie. And I think the spirits knew we were moving because all of a sudden, all the doors upstairs started opening and slamming. And no one else was in the home.

We thought, oh, my gosh, someone has broken into the house. Like, we had dogs. We let the dogs inside. The dogs ran upstairs, ran into the master bedroom, decided they did not want to be in there after all, ran back downstairs and out the back door. You're like, I'm not sticking around this place. Exactly.

And it was like, like I said, doors were slamming. We had sounded like someone was running around upstairs. Like someone was heavy boots just running around, slamming things, throwing things. And it just stopped. After maybe an hour, it just stopped. And it was the strangest thing, especially being a new home. And I've looked into the land and we never found it. out why this home was like this. And it was like that. Like I had a younger brother at the time he was two.

He couldn't be left alone in the master bedroom where my mom would put him for a nap without him waking up screaming, crying. He said he would see a spooky man and would like come running down the stairs. He even got pushed down the stairs a few times. And we thought, you know, just a toddler falling down the stairs. No, he was pushed down the stairs a couple times. it was the strangest, strangest home and seeing like, seeing that no one has lived there for more than two years and a package somehow ended up getting delivered there,

it just made me want to tell the story again because it was the weirdest home. And the lady that lived there, lives there now, kept trying to get me to go pick up the package from the home. I will not ever, ever go to that home. I actually told her, take the package back to the post office or donate whatever it is. I don't want it. Wow. Because are you afraid something's going to latch on to you and come back with you?

That's exactly what it is, especially because I was the one that experienced something being in my room the most. No one, like we would all hear things, but I experienced the hat man on a nightly basis. I had night lights. Like I couldn't, I had to sleep with like a eye mask on. Like I was terrified to sleep because the hat man was always in my bedroom staring at me. So I had like a little, I had a sink in my room because we had a jack and jail bathroom. So I had a sink and he was always standing in the doorway of my sink. Interesting.

And for being a new home, it's always been some, you know, even to this day, I'm curious as to why that home. And neighbors around us said that they also experience things like pots and pans falling from like cabinets, things moving, things disappearing. So it wasn't just our home. It seemed like our neighbors also experienced things as well. I wonder what those homes were built on what that land was before. Do you know what that land was before? It was just desert land. It was in the high desert. So there was nothing there. All the homes on our cul-de-sac were brand-new builds, and that was, I mean, there was nothing there before. My theory is, I mean, something had to have been there. They had to have disturbed some kind of burial ground for it to be multiple homes that experienced things.

And all those homes have been sold off to different people. Like, no one stayed in those homes very long. I want to say five years was the max. Our neighbors all sold their homes and left. Yeah, it's very strange. There's something going on there. It sounds like definitely the hatman. We've had multiple reports lately people talking about the hat man. And it is so amazing how people see the same thing. A lot of young people, just as you say. Syman, thank you for coming back on the show and kind of giving us the update. I appreciate it.
