So my name is Dr Heather McKee and I'm a behaviour change psychologist.
My number one tip for people that are struggling right now in terms of setting goals and motivation is to find joy.
Those healthy habits that we enjoy are those ones that stick.
And so, you know, create a joy list for yourself.
Ask yourself what are those healthy habits that you like in your life.
And focusing your energy on finding those habits you enjoy is important
because it's more like you'll engage in these behaviours more often.
You can repeat them enough until that healthy choice becomes easier choice
and over time the automatic choice for you.
