Hello, I hope you're doing okay out there, and your week has gotten off to a good start.
I just wanted to let you know that on the show this week, we've got Kate Ferdinand,
ex-reality TV star and wife of Rio, talking blended families, couples workouts,
pregnancy ups and downs, and her favourite feel-good habits.
Ahead of the show dropping into your podcast app of choice on Thursday,
I wanted to share the social media habit that Kate's realised this year can make a big difference to her happiness.
For quite a bit of my pregnancy, I don't even think I went on social media.
I just found that I couldn't keep up with the kids,
the holidays and everything,
and social media just wasn't a priority.
And when I'm not on it, I do feel happier.
Sometimes I think it has, sometimes it's so positive
and you can connect with people and share stories
and it can make you feel so much better.
But I think if you're not in the right mindset,
it can just be a really negative place.
So I think I just learn to sort of manage it
and realize that if I have 10 days off social media,
does it matter?
Doesn't matter
because everyone that I know and love
knows I'm okay.
It's just knowing when to have a break for me.
For more from Kate,
tune in on Thursday.
