Do you have a real, powerful accountability partner in your life?
So many of us always ask ourselves the question.
Do we need that accountability partner?
And the simple answer is yes.
You see, an accountability partner not only holds you accountable to doing those particular activities,
but they also do something else for you.
And that's what I want to share with you today.
You see, when you're working with an accountability partner,
so many times we actually go off topic. The conversations don't go along a strict format. So in essence,
it's not actually an accountability session, it's just a social conversation. So the next time you
actually look out to get yourself an accountability partner, I'd like you to use this little
simple technique that I share with so many of my clients. And it goes like this. It's an education
between accountability partners. It starts out like this. You need to have to have a little bit of
have sessions that are no longer than five days apart. So you look at five days, every five days
have that session. In those particular discussions, what you're going to talk about is the top
five activities that's going to help you to achieve your goal. So five days apart, five top
activities, have you done it? How did it go? And the discussion should last no longer than five
minutes. So make sure you follow that very simple format. Now here's something. You've got to be
committed to it. You can't suddenly say, oh, wait a minute, you know what, I have a dentist
appointment and, well, is that dentist appointment going to be the whole day? You only need
five minutes of a particular day, five days apart to have that discussion about your five activities.
Now, I said to you in the beginning, there's something more powerful about having an accountability
partner and I want to share with you. I was doing a little bit of research. There's a horse out
there. It's called a draft horse and for those horse lovers, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
For those of you that don't know what a draft horse is, I'm sure you've seen these are the horses that
pull the carriages. We commonly call it horse and carriage. These are the horses that are massive.
They're like nearly two meters high. They are built with muscle and power. Well, here's an interesting
In fact, one draft horse on its own can pull up to nearly 8,000 pounds of load.
Now that's absolutely amazing.
But here's where it gets even better.
You would think that two draft horses could pull double the weight, 16,000 pounds.
No.
Two draft horses can in fact pull up to nearly 24,000 pounds and F-Train correctly
can actually pull nearly four times the individual load-bearing weight that they can pull.
That's the power of having an accountability partner.
You see, when you've got the right accountability partner,
they will actually not only just double, but they could triple or even quadruple the output that you're actually doing.
You see, one of the key elements of having an accountability partner,
It's not about saying, hey, are you doing the right things?
It's actually helping you identify all the wrong things that you're doing,
all the unnecessary tasks that you're doing that's leading you away from achieving your goal.
So having that accountability partner actually prevents you from procrastinating and doing the non-productive activities.
Think about that.
Get that accountability partner and be held accountable.
