I'm Eina Wheatley from KGCI Real Estate on air, and I want to take us back a bit to some advice given by coach John Morone when the real estate market started hitting some headwinds.
By and large, it's been a tough market in North American real estate, especially for agents.
Exceptions, yes, but for the most part, it's been tough for most.
And have you ever raced a race car?
this drives her nuts whenever I do it. But when you're coming into a turn, you actually don't ever
want to hit the brakes. You actually just want to lighten up on the gas a little bit before you
really slam on them as you're at that top of the turn or the apex of it. And as we are coming
into a new year, there are some actually promising indicators that this double apex of a downturned
real estate market will soon pass. But what are the proactive steps to take before the broader
conditions improve. I want you to listen to what John is encouraging you to do because if you've
done it and have been doing it, keep it up. If you haven't, that's okay because we're just
coming into that apex of the turn. Now it's time to hit the gas.

content just to post content. You know, I've been doing this podcast for five plus years.
And I'm just not, no, actually more than that now. Yeah, I think more than that, maybe six.
But anyways, I'm not just going to post content and post content. I'm not going to force content on
you guys.
I'm going to give you guys shit from the heart, give you guys shit that's going to work, give you guys shit that's going to fire you up, but give you tools to expand your business, your life, your mindset, your financial situation.
I'm not going to sit on here and just talk about nothing and waste your time.
So hopefully you guys could respect that and understand that.
So you know when I post an episode, you better turn in and turn up because it's going to it's going to be something that you need to hear probably.

and skill set training and then we dial your leads live right there.
We had about 60 people calling over 75 appointments.
That's absolutely insane amount of appointments for the amount of people that were dialing.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential commission to be earned.
So a big shout out to everybody that was in Atlanta. You guys crushed it.

So let's dive in today's episode.
Today's episode is going to be something that I've had a lot of thought about.
I've had a lot of conversations with some people in my life about this.
and you know whether it's it's a client whether it's an employee whether it's a friend or family member or
myself you guys have all heard this phrase before right this two shall pass you believe in that
right i do i do believe in that here's the thing this two shall not pass if you are sitting on
your ass this too shall not pass if you're sitting on your ass i
understand the phrase and I am a big believer in it but if you're sitting there right now going
through a season of challenge a season of struggle and you're just sitting in it stuming in it
and you are not taking the shaky action to get through it this two shall pass will last a lot
longer than it needs to a lot longer than it needs to so what are you going through right now
What struggle are you in right now?
What season of life are you in right now?
Is it your business isn't where you want it to be and the finances aren't where it needs to be?
Is it your health and, you know, it's not where you want it to be and maybe you're not hitting those goals and you can't lose weight?
Is it your relationship and, you know, they're going through some struggle of communication and struggle of intimacy?
What is it?
So you've got a pen of paper right now.
where are you struggling out at right now that this two shall pass is a phrase that really
could could you know input into that area of life where is it now that you know that ask yourself
are you really doing all the things you need to do to get past it see this two shall pass is a
great phrase but a lot of us utilize this phrase as a crutch to do nothing as a crutch to be the
victim as a crutch to sit there and not take advantage of the day that's in front of you
because you're dealing with something because you're going through something because there's
pain inside of your heart and so you stop and you don't do anything because you're waiting for this
to to pass and in the moments of you waiting what you're missing is your missing opportunity
for growth you're missing the opportunity for self-change self-reflection transformation
at a much more rapid pace and there's a
There's patience that needs to be applied in this situation in particular, but patience without action and patients thinking it's going to come just because this two shall pass is the phrase you're banking on is the wrong way to do it.
Because this two shall pass is giving you the understanding that patience is a must.
But what it doesn't tell you is that there's action that is also a must to help elevate you to get past it much quicker, much more fluidly and bring you.
you to that next level, that next version, that next season of your life just to get out of this one.
This two shall pass, but not by sitting on your ass.
Stop sitting in the struggle.
Stop sitting in this in this moment of like, man, my finances aren't where it need to be.
How many days a week are you calling?
How many days a week are you doing role play?
What does that look like?
Don't sit here and tell me that your finances are a problem.
Write this down.
Ready?
You don't have a money problem.
You have a me problem.
You don't have a results problem.
You have a activity problem.
You don't have a can't do X, Y, and Z problem because the results aren't there.
You're not doing the things to get X, Y, and Z.
So you don't have a me problem.
You have a money problem, but you have a, that's what you're thinking, right?
It's not me.
It's, it's, it's the leads in front of me.
It's the market.
It's the presidential election.
It's all these things.
No, no, no, no, no.
It's a you.
I'm not saying in discounting
that there aren't real
fucking circumstances
that are making things harder.
I'd be lying to you
if I said that was the case.
But I want you to have the understanding
and the insight
that circumstances
cannot dictate your choices.
Circumstances,
cannot dictate the action that you had set out to take before the circumstances were there
Stop becoming a victim to the circumstances of your life the circumstances of the market the circumstances of your environment
Stop being a victim to that and be somebody who's committed to the action and I promise you those circumstances
Won't bog you down as much they won't hold you in that stranglehold any longer
You don't have a
money problem you have a me problem and if you could take ownership in that that's the first step
this two shall pass it shall but through action so goes back to it money may be the problem and
this two shall pass but the problem is is no no no no no what are you doing to change it hear me look
i roll my chair back so i'm get into it i'm sick and tired of people telling me that their income
isn't where they want it to be yet they're sitting there and not doing it
anything different. They're sitting there not being consistent. They're not making the dials.
They're not mastering their craft. They're not going out and kicking doors down to find
opportunity. They're sitting there waiting for opportunity to come. They're sitting there waiting
for the market to change. They're sitting there waiting for somebody else, something else to
come save them, not realizing that they have to be the saviour. They have to be the person that
puts on the cape. You have to be the superhero. Elevate your role play to master your craft.
So when you do get an opportunity, you're super prepared.
Right?
Like give yourself that opportunity by mastering your craft.
Go out and make more dials.
You're calling four days a week.
You're not getting results.
You've got to call five.
You're not making it at five.
You've got to call six.
Not at six.
You've got to call seven.
It's not at seven.
You've got to call more each and every day.
You got to go ahead and find other alternatives to generate business.
Don't sit there and think that it is going to just change.
You need to change for it all to change.
You need to make the change.
You need to make the change for it to change.
I hope you understand where I'm coming from and this is all love.
This is this is me speaking to me in those times.
This is me speaking to you in those times.
This is me speaking to the future you when those times hit.
We all fall in these seasons.
Doesn't make you bad.
It doesn't make you weak.
We all fall in these moments where it's not going the way we want it to go.
And so we go ahead and we sit there and and we sulk a little bit.
We get frustrated, we get upset.
How long are you going to do that for?
How long are you going to allow this season to be dictated by something or somebody else?
How long are you going to allow this season of struggle to be dictated by something or somebody else?
Let today be that last day.
you go out and you change a season.
You go out and you change
and go from struggle to success.
And success doesn't mean
hitting the mountain top. Success means sometimes
just setting that
extra appointment. Success means getting
that closed deal. Success means losing
those two pounds. Success means
actually doing the work to lose
those two pounds better off than
just actually losing the two pounds, right?
I don't like to keep you guys on these podcasts long
because there's a lot of shit you've got to get done today
and I know it. And I hope with this message,
that you heard today, you go get that shit done at a whole different level that you get it done
and you elevate your activity.
You give a little bit more today.
You call for another 20 minutes.
You hit the gym for an extra 10 minutes or hit it harder while you're there.
You have that conversation with your spouse.
You give yourself the opportunity to go through this season a little bit quicker and not fall victim to the circumstances that made this season the one you're in right now.

But this too shall pass, but not by sitting on your ass.
