Starting point is 00:00:00 Does your productivity sometimes feel like a roller coaster ride where it's going up and then crashing down? Let's overcome this simple truth. For many of us, our productivity does feel like a roller coaster ride, where it goes up and then it goes down. You see, we're doing all the hard work that we believe is correct. We're going out to making contact with clients. We're getting those particular deals coming through. and then we have the space where there's absolutely nothing. So we then say, well, we need to make contact with certain clients.
Starting point is 00:00:36 And we seem to do the cycle over and over again. And we're trying to understand why. Why is our business feel like a roller coaster? Well, here's a simple truth. One of the key elements of your business, if you want to get out of that roller coaster and just maintain this steady, linear growth in your business. There's a little key phrase that I want you to write down. And it's called consistent prospecting. That's it. Consistent prospecting. Now, for many of us,
Starting point is 00:01:10 we may not understand what prospecting is. So, by definition, in a kind of roundabout way, prospecting, it is that first step in the actual sales process. It is the type of activities that you're to do that involves identifying your clients and really making contact with them. But there's a goal. You see, if you're just identifying clients and making contact with them and you're repeating that over and over again with new clients and new clients, but you don't have this goal in mind, which is to start creating a database of potential future customers. You see, that is what prospecting should be it's for you to start growing that particular database now you need to be consistently prospecting you need to have a look at those activities and you need to create
Starting point is 00:02:07 them as a habit you need to put them into your diary every day you're consistently prospecting every week every month you never stop prospecting and when you do that on an ongoing basis what you'll find is you're always going to have customers coming in your direction. So make sure that you are consistently prospecting to get you off that road coaster ride.
