Know Thyself - E189 - Wim Hof: Why Your Body Was Built to Heal Itself (And What Stopped It)

Episode Date: April 7, 2026

Wim Hof joins me to explore the deeper story behind his work, from profound personal loss to discovering a direct path back into the body through breath and cold exposure. We unpack how modern life pu...lls us out of feeling and into constant mental noise, and how reconnecting with the breath can bring us back into a state of presence, strength, and clarity. Wim shares how a single moment stepping into freezing water at 17 opened something fundamental within him, quieting the mind and reconnecting him to his heart. In this conversation, we explore the science behind his methods and what it means to consciously influence the nervous system and immune response. Wim explains how breathwork can reduce inflammation, strengthen the body, and restore balance, and why this ability is not unique to him but available to anyone willing to practice. This episode is an invitation to reclaim autonomy over your body and mind, and to remember a deeper connection to nature that modern life often pulls us away from.Visit https://www.functionhealth.com/knowthyself or use gift code KNOWTHYSELF25 for a $25 credit toward your membership.Try LMNT & get a free sample pack https://drinkLMNT.com/KnowThyselfAndré's Book Recs: https://www.knowthyselfpodcast.com/book-list___________00:00 Intro01:27 A Life Shaped by Purpose04:00 The Science of Breath and Inflammation09:20 Music, Cold, and the Opening of the Heart12:31 Becoming a Missionary for Human Healing22:10 Freedom, Autonomy, and the Power Within25:15 Trust as the True Superpower29:52 Ad: Function Health31:04 The Years of Searching, Love, and Loss37:16 Grief, Rage, and the Call to Change the World47:14 It’s Time for the Soul52:10 Returning to the Body Through Breath and Cold53:31 Ad: LMNT54:39 The Wim Hof Method in Practice1:07:17 What the Cold Really Teaches1:10:33 A Message for Humanity1:12:45 Choosing Stress Before Stress Chooses You1:19:11 The Forgotten Power of the Breath1:24:08 Consciousness, Soul, and the Search for Meaning1:33:18 Becoming an Agent of Change___________For a free Wim Hof Method Mini Class:https://www.wimhofmethod.com/free-mini-classEpisode Resources: https://www.wimhofmethod.comhttps://www.instagram.com/iceman_hofhttps://www.instagram.com/andreduqum/https://www.instagram.com/knowthyself/https://www.youtube.com/@knowthyselfpodcasthttps://www.knowthyselfpodcast.com

Starting point is 00:00:00 I came to the world purple, almost suffocated with the words of my mother invocating, Oh God, that this child live. She is in me tattooed in my jeans. I'm a missionary. For the first time I saw the thin air of ice on the water. I went in by gut feeling. And there I felt this is it. Without words, the heart opened.
Starting point is 00:00:22 You've broken 26 world records. They said, but you are the ice man. I said, I can do anything. Anybody can do. Oh, buddy. Just follow your breath and enter into your body. This is the way we beat a bacteria. It is simple.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Breath doesn't cost anything. That's why I say, just breathe, mother. Your wife at the time diagnosed with schizophrenia and then you got a call one day. She jumped from eight stories. What can you say? You can't say anything. There's nothing. It's cold. I was broken.
Starting point is 00:00:59 but I had to take care of my children. Society keeps on going like a fast train, and you cannot mourn, and I am going to change this world. I got that conviction. I'm a simple man, but I'm going to change the world. Know thyself. I know myself. I'm here to serve.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Whim, it's so good to be here with you today. You've broken 26 world records. You've climbed mountains. mountains, grand marathons, you have so many incredible feats, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's a deep well of wisdom behind you, your practices that you share with the world. But where I want to start is actually way back. You came into this world as a surprise, the Iceman. Yes. I was the second of the twins. My brother's name is André, like you. It's nice to meet you, brother.
Starting point is 00:02:05 to meet you. Spiritually, we are brothers. We are a lion. Our wavelengths go there. And that's great. That's beautiful because the world needs it. The world needs this message, this man on a mission, a missionary. I'm a missionary. My mother made me because though they didn't suspect another baby to come back then. The 66 years ago. And they're... So they had no echographics or anything to detect if there is how many and how do they look like. It was a wooden Trump bet. That was all they had. No politics.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Trump, but make jokes now. But the thing is, back then, they weren't aware. There was another one. I almost came too late to the world's. I came to the world purple, like purple is almost suffocated in the cold of the hall with the words of my mother invocating, Oh God, let this child live. I will make him a missionary. She told me that all later. But in that moment the power of a woman who is in fear and in love and God-fearing all at the same time,
Starting point is 00:03:32 That is a powerful invocation. And I honor that because I cannot do otherwise. She is in me. She is embedded in tattooed in my jeans. I'm a missionary. I am just unfolding her promise to God, coming from a place of love. And that is exactly my message.
Starting point is 00:04:02 But I wasn't aware until in 2007, where I was exposed to an experiment, biochemical experiment in Manhattan, New York with Dr. Kevin Tracy. And they had me hooked up with a long and heart meter and they took the blood here. And they were to see if I was able to influence into the Vegas nerve. because if you are able to consciously intervene into the vagus nerve, you are able to bring down inflammation. Nobody had shown that before. There I was. I did that.
Starting point is 00:04:49 And a week later, I got the results. Dr. Ken Kamler called me up a week later after processing the results, 307 blood markers. So no speculation by which they were able to make an interpretation if I was influencing into the Vegas nerve. The mechanisms that bring down inflammation. Because inflammation in the end is the cause and effect of disease. Any disease is inflammation. So almost take a breath.
Starting point is 00:05:28 That is always good. I do that all the time. It's for free. And it's amazing. Breath doesn't cost anything, and it gives you the life force. Mind about it, take a deep breath. When Dr. Ken Kamler called me up, he said, Wim, are you able, if you are able to reproduce the result you have done, you have produced,
Starting point is 00:05:56 that that means huge consequences for human mankind. We got a caller in here, a past friend of yours, Not good. Look who we have here, boys. Hey. Hey, hey. You want to hold it? Yes, there he was.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Hey, motherfuckers! I love you. Hey, Amir. Hey, aye, aye, aye. So good. Hey, Amir, you got to bring me to Egypt. We got to do an ice bath in front of the pyramids. Damn right.
Starting point is 00:06:27 We have to. Hey, man. No words anymore. Do it. Bang. All right. Last time we talked about it, and I talked to someone about it, and they said, whenever you want, let's make it happen. Okay, okay, deal.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Okay, man, I love you. Right on. It's about the love. Know thyself. We are love. We change the world. Yeah, man. We are just starting up.
Starting point is 00:06:53 My boys. Hey. Good to see you, dude. It's so good to see you guys. We let me one question to ask Wim from you guys. guys. One question. Ask Wim.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Let's see. Has Wim played you the song, the, what's it called? The monkey song? Oh, crazy like a monkey. Okay, here it goes. Okay. Wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:07:19 What was the second question, Amar? Okay. How can humanity prepare for alien disclosure? Of course. Wow, those are two very different questions. No, no, I got that one. You got that one? How can humanity prepare for alien disclosure?
Starting point is 00:07:32 We are aliens. If you look at the central nervous system, we look like aliens. It's the brain with all the merits, the nerves. Those are, hey, man, we are just in this body because it's convenient the way to walk on this earth. But the rest, we are into consciousness. Otherwise, we would be monkeys. And crazy like a monkey I can sing. That's your baby.
Starting point is 00:08:25 swim. Swim, you look at it on. By the end of words in the heart, part day our song. Back in the flow, we, swim, you look good. You look, you look really good. Like, healthy and vital.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Whar! And the shorts can get it shorter. I love that. Yeah. The shorts can getting shorter. All right, we love you guys. Love you, too. Bye.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Good guys. That's a nice surprise. That was a wildest start to a podcast I've ever had. It was good. Ah, yeah. Yeah. Crazy like a monkey, man. With vice.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Not to get too off on a tangent, but you love music. You play music. You were toning before this. You were playing before this. Music's been a big part of your life, yeah? My first love. The real love.
Starting point is 00:09:42 I remember the first time I put, I got a guitar on my hand. I learned one accord. You know, one key. Just one key. I played the whole weekend. I could imagine myself through those tones, just going, traveling on the prairie and the mountains anywhere.
Starting point is 00:10:07 So if it touches you that way, and if it opens up your imagination that way, then you are a musician. You are born, your heart opens. That is what makes the music. Anything that opens up the heart of somebody, yes. It sounds like the cold was the thing that really opened you up big alongside music. And around 17, you jumped in a canal that was then, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:36 a big defining moment for what would ensue later in your life. How do you explain what that moment was for you, now looking back in hindsight, for the arc of your journey. Yeah, opening up the heart. We were talking about it like music, your passion. But then you get the world. Look at the world. Look at the wars.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Depression, disease, all the difficulties, mortgages. You've got to go nine to five. Where is the heart there? Suddenly it's gone. And then you're going to sit in your brain ruminating. What is happening? What is happening? What is happening?
Starting point is 00:11:13 what is happening. And it keeps on like an hamster inside, but we are humans, not hamsters. So, that is too much. It's too much cortisol. It's not the heart. Suddenly you are into that loop. And then I felt 17 years, for the first time I saw the thin layer of ice on the water, I thought to go in by gut feeling. I went in and there I felt. And there I felt. And there I felt, Well, this is it. Without words, I got back into my heart, into my feeling. I was euphoria or the whole, euphoric, the whole day. And then the other day I came back to see if it was coming back. Yeah, you go with expectation. Maybe it's just a one time experience and all. But no, it opened it up again. It made shut up the hamster, the ruminating, the overthinking, and the heart opened.
Starting point is 00:12:22 From that moment onwards, how has how you defined your mission on the planet evolved? And what is it currently do you feel? What is, what do you feel you're here to do? Exactly. I go now back to that Manhattan, New York, where we were at the beginning of the podcast. So they gave me the results. A week later, Dr. Ken Kamala, I just met him again. After 19 years here in New York, very nice man, very soft in his explanations, and very precise, too. He's the author of Surviving the Extremes. And we have become friends, and he knows the gravity of what I'm doing in the experiments I did in Manhattan, New York. Nineteen years ago, I showed how to activate,
Starting point is 00:13:13 consciously the vagus nerve. Once you are able to do that, you are able to bring down inflammation. And inflammation is the cause and effect of any disease. So here we could point out for the scientific world that we had found through breathing techniques, how to bring down inflammation. But the scientific world didn't take it up. We got all the medical signs to produce pills, medicaments and treatments, but not to go naturally with the same effect and better because there's no side effect with breathing techniques. So back then, Dr. Ken Kamler said, hey, if you are able to reproduce this, that means huge consequences for human mankind.
Starting point is 00:14:07 and he named all these diseases if people were only able to do what I had done that week before. And that was breathing. What we did earlier on here as well, making the body strong, activating biohacking into the body through breathing, making us the strongest version within ourselves. The way nature meant it to be means that the immune system is at work. And when a bacteria then comes in, then it has no chance because the immune system is alert.
Starting point is 00:14:43 And it bounces it out. It's the big bouncer, the immune system where little bacteria wants you in. And no, you go that way, but out. So it is not able to multiply. That alertness we do with breathing. That alertness made your body strong enough to go and have an easy chat while being in cold water. I mean almost to zero in degrees 31, 32, what was it? It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:15:11 We were cool. So, directly when he called me, I felt, of course I can reproduce this. That was where the missionary consciously started for me to be. And then half hour later, I got another phone call that my mother had died. She was the one who invocated it when I was born, the little purple nutting with that strong invocation driven by love and fear that is powerful. It got tattooed into me. I'm that missionary. And there I came only at terms with my responsibility and ability to respond.
Starting point is 00:15:59 I was able now to bring on something that doctor was saying, this is going to change humanity. It is of huge consequences for human mankind, he said, because you showed how to bring down the inflammation. And you showed it in 307 blood markers. But they didn't take it up. Because we live in a world where money makes sense. health being treated. And if they cannot make money out of it, there is no interest. Not by the
Starting point is 00:16:38 governments, not by the pharmaceutical industries and the war lobbies and all. It's a sick world. And Bobby Kennedy says it well, America is sick. But here I am. We are going to make it healthy. And not only America, the whole white world. And we need people. like yourself to bring it out. Because the journalists nowadays, they are cherry picking. They are just serving the industries. And they are not serving humanity. Where is the love in that?
Starting point is 00:17:14 So I didn't hear of these people anymore when they said they were going to have a comparative study done in the Catskills of New York, a comparative with and see if everybody is able to influence into that mechanism that brings down inflammation. So I never heard anything of them anymore. Four years later, I got a chance with the university in hospital university in the Netherlands to repeat it. Now I was injected with a bacteria, a coli bacteria. This is a controlled experiment.
Starting point is 00:17:55 People get sick three to six hours. and then the experiment is done. And so thousands of people had done that before. They all became sick until they met me. They injected me, the bacteria. I did the same what I did in Manhattan, New York, four years before. Just breathe. And strongly do my accessa, which I learned into the cold,
Starting point is 00:18:24 how to breathe deep and to influence. my body to make it strong while being in a cold so I don't feel the cold. Must be effective breathing. Then I separated that breathing and made these breathing techniques which I learned in the cold. And then I saw all the lies and all the chakras and all what I've been reading. Suddenly I saw it for real. And that was amazing. But there in the hospital I got injected.
Starting point is 00:18:58 And then I showed as the first one to get into the autonomic nervous system and the innate immune system, which was considered to be inaccessible by humans at will. But there I had shown. And then they said, but you are the ice man. No, I said, what I can do, anybody can do. Ice man. No, maybe an ice man.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Maybe not. Whatever it is, my mission is I can bring it on for anybody else in the world. So then they gave me a group of people and a group of people who were not doing exactly what I was saying. I trained a group. And the group I trained, they were all able to defy the bacteria causing inflammation in our immune system body becoming sick.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Nobody. And the people who didn't, they all became sick. So, the world of medicine, the medical experts, the doctors, the professors in the world, the scientific world, the academics should have jumped on it. I just pointed out, there is a natural way to bring down inflammation, the cause and effect of disease. where is this world that is following the narratives of the industries
Starting point is 00:20:22 serving the industries and not the healing power of people so my mission was born there I'm a missionary I'm here I'm a simple man but I'm going to change the world
Starting point is 00:20:37 that's my faith my conviction I can do it I can make the science change where they're all have no solutions, I can bring the solutions. Because I come from nature. I'm a missionary, according to my mother, and I will honor my mother and respect my mother in the afterlife,
Starting point is 00:20:59 being here right now with me, and she knows. And it doesn't start with the birth, doesn't end with when we die. We better get our jobs done and live to our purpose. Or in other words, Gnotti say out on, know thy self. Where are you? And what do you do? Because this is the universe. And we live here on the earth. Don't be into too much into the matter, materialized.
Starting point is 00:21:33 But what's the matter with you? Do you feel good? Do you sense the depth? Do you sense your spirituality, emotionally, mentally and physically? All that? then it's all right, then you're exactly where you need to be. But if it is not, if you are out of balance, then you are in the wrong place, you feel wrong, you don't know what it is, don't have that conflict with the soul.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Get into an ice bath, do some breathing, we go by science just to bring you back to the factory settings of mother nature. So well said, man. so well said. What you said outside was that freedom is free, and it's hard to control people that are sovereign, that understand that the power of their mind and their bodies within their own control, that they have these faculties that are latent and profited on doing so. Like, when you do a deep breathwork practice and you feel so powerful and you don't feel so controlled and compulsive by all the things that you thought you wanted, and you're less of a victim in life. You're more of a powerful, conscious agent of change. And hundreds of millions of
Starting point is 00:22:49 people have been practicing with your techniques and listening to your teachings and books and documentaries and talks. And I think what it looks like from the outside is, is it's remembering people of their own power, of their own power of their own mind. And it sounds like there was a really deep accepting of that responsibility when your mother passed. That was around 2007. Is that right? Yes. And so amidst these studies that you were partaking in, you've done over a dozen now, there's been... Yeah, 20 about. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:25 How many studies do I have to show that this is irrefutably shown by the scrutiny of science? How many? 200? No, there is ignorance going on. There is a system that wants to make money out of dependency. What I advocate is autonomy. Autonomy is freedom. You are your own.
Starting point is 00:23:51 And you should be able to the governments. Listening to governments, you see what governments are doing. No, learn to govern you yourself. And that is autonomy. So we have shown how to get into the autonomic nervous system, autonomy of the body. and the autonomous processes in the brain related to mood regulation, emotional regulation. We found it in brain scans and all. It's all out there.
Starting point is 00:24:19 It's in papers. And it has changed the paradigm of what we think is possible within the human. We are here to be autonomous. Rain over your own emotions. Claim the power of your own mind. not 16% of your brain in control, 100. We have shown through breathing techniques that we are able willfully to activate 100% neural activity in the brain.
Starting point is 00:24:52 So what are you doing when you've climbed these mountains and shorts and you've swam great lengths in ice water and been in multiple hours under ice water? These seem like superhuman feats. You're reminding us that we're all capable. of that. But what are you really doing with your mind and your breath that's allowing you to defy being at the whims of the external circumstances and you being like exerting your will in such a way? What are you really doing in those? Trust is a superpower. Two days ago was in Miami
Starting point is 00:25:23 and I was at a school for a grade four, five and six, seven, two different groups. And I was into showing what is a superpower. A, Batman and Superman, those are marvels, but your own superpower is marvelous. And it's right there. Don't forget it. And let be he schooled not only arithmetic and history and language, but in trust, in trust which is deep within us to defy or overcome any lesson in life, to realize our soul are the purpose of our being. Know that that rock bottom superpower is within you and is stronger than any fear that comes to you. Fear is a messenger.
Starting point is 00:26:17 It's not something to intimidate you. It shows you now you're ready to overtake me. And then you got a new life's lesson in the journey of the realization of the soul. And it is very exciting to do this. that. So I wasn't schooled in the schooling system. I dropped out. But I say in the old Latin, non-scholea, it's not through the school, but through life that we learn how to discern. So that's what I did. And I learned my languages, many languages. And in the end, I learned the greatest of all in language.
Starting point is 00:27:02 to talk from my heart, to have no fear. Here I am, and here I go. So, any time when I go into a record, a world record attempt or a challenge, many more challenges than records I have. So I feel, I feel that I can do a thing, I feel challenged. And my subconsciousness knows, I can trust. my subconsciousness, climbing without gear, free climbing, you have to learn to read the rock. And then you make the calculation inside.
Starting point is 00:27:43 And your feeling will say this is dangerous, yes or no. You can do this, yes or no. That's why I always say, don't force. Go with the force of nature of your feeling. Feeling is the understanding. So that's the way I learned to trust that feeling. not the way I learned it in schools. I learned to trust that feeling.
Starting point is 00:28:07 And every time I succeeded following that feeling. For example, when I get a phone call of, say, the BBC, and I've never run a marathon or any, I'm not a runner. So I get a phone call and they say, yeah, there is the bird man. He is the first man with a wingsuit. It was, there is a man on wire. He goes over the Grand Canyon on a wire. And there is the Spider-Man.
Starting point is 00:28:40 There was Alain Robert. And he climbs all these buildings without gear. And they call you the Iceman. That was the first time somebody called me the Iceman. I thought, Nice man. Hey, that's nice. Batman, Superman, Iceman. Oh, that's me.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Oh, my ego was careful. Oh, my ego. So beautiful. But right there, I thought all the alarm bells were in. And I said, I'm not a runner, but I will run in four weeks a time, beyond the polar circle, in my shorts, a full marathon, and do it in midwinter January. Is that okay?
Starting point is 00:29:24 Yes, yes, yes, yes, they said. And I had never run. But from that moment, I felt instinctively I'm going to do this. So I started to train and to take all the obstacles which I had in me out of my way because my goal was set. And then the body will shape toward that go. And when you start, then you are all ready, ready. Hey, fam. Your immune system is doing a lot more than fighting.
Starting point is 00:29:57 colds. It's how your body recovers and regulates stress, fights infection, and most of us actually have no idea how it's performing because a standard physical barely scratches the surface. That's why I use function health. They run over 160 lab tests a year, everything from vitamin D and zinc, which regulate immune function, to inflammation markers like HSCRP that tell you if something's quietly breaking down before you ever feel it. And it's only $365 a year, which is basically, a dollar a day. And what I love is that all of your health results are tracked over time. So you're not just getting a snapshot. You're actually watching your health evolve over time. And you can even track the results deeper through integrations like with Claude and ChatGBT.T. I'm a member. It's
Starting point is 00:30:44 changed how I think about what's actually going inside my body. And I would love the same for you. I want you to be as healthy as you can. So if you want to check your health the way I do, visit functionhealth.com slash know-liself or use gift code no-like. myself 25 for a $25 credit toward your membership. Everything's linked down in the description. As always, stay healthy, be well. You mentioned a bit, and I haven't heard a whole lot from that age gap of like 17 to 40 when you're living in Amsterdam, mostly right, you were squatting, you were reading books,
Starting point is 00:31:17 finding teachers, exploring so many different lineages and pathways. And I would love for you to go a little bit into that time zone, because before we go further into the studies and the feats and all the things. You were really forming yourself, such a formative time in your life. So what were you learning? Were you going down the yogic paths? What were you reading? Who were you learning from?
Starting point is 00:31:39 What was that life in that chapter for you? That was my life with Olaia. Olai is the mother of my first four children, with whom I work right now. But back then, she felt into a dark place. and how that occurred suddenly it was there a spiritual mental decline
Starting point is 00:32:05 coming in and I had to take care of the kids so there was a tough time in the beginning it was absolute paradise with amazing I lived in a squat that's where you might hear
Starting point is 00:32:18 eight years yes eight years long and I had no money but I'll all the spirit and it was a free, free thinking place. Because we were like outside the society. We were not into 9.05 work and those schedules and mortgage and this is your career.
Starting point is 00:32:41 No, I was absolutely totally into self-education to know myself. It was a great time. And there I met her and we got two kids. while being in that court. It was amazing. Very nice, energetically, beautiful. But then she wanted to go back to Spain, where she came from Basque country, Pamplona.
Starting point is 00:33:10 And I went over there, and I wanted to start there as an English teacher in Spain. I already spoke Spanish. So I started also the Basque language to learn where I am. am, I will learn. So I was a teacher for a time. It didn't work out because she could not live where I was teaching. And then she didn't take care of the two kids. One kid set the house on fire. So we had to go out because it was a rent, a rental. And that, yeah, it made it difficult. We could not stay there any longer.
Starting point is 00:33:58 And I was at the same time having a made an ashram. Ashram is a place in India where you do yoga and self-deployment. Like, no, they self, but then an Indian lifestyle. Where did you learn to explore that? Yeah, all the yogic postures are new. I made a book about it. yoga as a universal technique and all the photos and all
Starting point is 00:34:29 I got that all done back then and with the explanations where it is good for and also pranayama techniques you just had a natural curiosity or were you looking to like solve something find something of course yeah to me
Starting point is 00:34:44 yoga was the best way to get to your inner self without dogma without spiritual doctrine of any kind of religions. The most I felt akin to
Starting point is 00:34:57 was Buddhism. Not Hinduism. Hinduism is nice and mythology and all. And Islam has his own and Christianity has his own.
Starting point is 00:35:08 I've been an altar boy, for God's sake. And yeah. Me too. Yeah. I was an altar boy for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:35:14 I told you spiritually a life akin from the beginning. It's a feeling, you know. So back then, I was into yoga.
Starting point is 00:35:26 But why? What drew you to self-inquiry and that? Interesting. I think I've been, I'm sure now, been always driven by this invocation of my mother. And then many times in your life you don't know what you do, but I got an identical twin brother, but my path led to self-realization
Starting point is 00:35:49 to go into a mysticism. and how you take on anything you find and you don't know how to serve whatever is going on in the depth of yourself, but you are driven to do so. So I did that. I did all kinds of not only yoga, also dervish dancing, also karate, taekwondo, whatever I could touch making music, sing the hell out of myself. Oh, it was spirituality that drove me. But where it came from, I was not conscious yet. And then I was with my wife. I just tried to make a living.
Starting point is 00:36:36 But I couldn't with her. It became very difficult. She lived in a dark place. And that ended up while I had to take care of my four children being there for them. I had a broken heart. Now it's called broken heart syndrome. I had it back then. Now live with that and then take care of four children with no money.
Starting point is 00:37:01 That four years makes you disciplined. So you were exploring all these various different paths. You met your wife at the time and while you were squatting in Amsterdam had four children, saw her mental health slowly start to decline, and diagnosed with schizophrenia. And then you got a call one day while on an expedition, I believe, right? Yes, when she took her life.
Starting point is 00:37:27 A mountain guide. Somewhere in the Pyrenees, the Central Pyrenees, from her brother. And what was that call like? That was, yeah, like numb. You feel numb. Who called you?
Starting point is 00:37:42 Her brother. He's a good friend of mine. He said, I'm going to see him this summer in Europe. And Pedro. And what did he say? And he said, Marival. Olaia, she called herself always.
Starting point is 00:38:00 And that's the way we know about her true name is Marival. She died. She jumped or she fell from eight stories down. And it was a difficult conversation. He was deeply touched, a heavy voice, slow voice. And what can you say? You can't say anything, you're numb. There's nothing, it's cold.
Starting point is 00:38:37 You take it in. You go and you ask yourself, why, why? How was that? You had to work on yourself. Get better, get better. The wife, you know, all the way. And I went to the mortuaryum. And there she was.
Starting point is 00:39:04 And I looked at her face together with her father. And I saw in her face that the demon was out. That's what I saw. It was peaceful Almost nothing you could see But there she was And then we cried Me
Starting point is 00:39:29 And her father Just cry, it's human And I had to go back Of course I did a funeral But not with my kids She kissed them goodbye She
Starting point is 00:39:45 just before being there. We still don't know if she jumped or she fell accidentally because she was confused. Schizophrenic is like doing crazy stuff and you lose control. Identity loss. See what happens right now in America with the shootings. That's identity loss. Children are being squeezed into a system
Starting point is 00:40:18 and they have talents for something else that causes conflict, stress so much that they lose identity, the sense of identity. What I'm here for? They lose it. It messes with the brain. And then they lose their sense of identity so much. They shoot their parents, their siblings, they go to school and start shooting also. Breathing. I wasn't aware back then how to solve the brain waste that is caused by the stress of society.
Starting point is 00:40:55 Because my woman, back then, the mother of my children, who's here right now with us. She was a very open, very sensitive person, beautiful, extrovert. I called her butterfly in Spanish mariposa. That is the way she was. and this society is sick. This is in the beginning of this conversation podcast. We were talking about the world, about the heart, about the music. You touch by the...
Starting point is 00:41:37 We are the heart, but we make of our heart a hell. By getting into a system that demands us to be from 9 to 5, for the regulations, etc. And for what? For bridges and towers and an elite controlling us? We cannot protect our children in the world. We can't stop the wars and we call ourselves civilized. We cannot stop depression, the darkness, the diseases, and we got all the technology.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Sorry that I'm renting, but this is the way it goes. I'm still, I still got this anger of back then, because I was numb then. I was paralyzed. I was shocked. Flabbergasted, whatever it is. But I could not understand, grasp anything of it. I was broken, but I had to take care of my children. So those deep, dark moments, they have been all there, while society keeps on going
Starting point is 00:42:51 like a fast train. And you cannot mourn. You cannot make yourself make sense out of that situation just to be human. That is not this world. And I am going to change this world. I got that conviction. I get the help of people in the afterlife. You think it doesn't exist and he is crazy?
Starting point is 00:43:18 I say, you are bloody crazy for not being. happy, strong, and healthy. And if you abide to the laws, then you are just like a zombie. You are not alive. Because you are a beautiful soul. Do you feel beautiful? Do you feel amazing? Do you feel like you are in love? When you are in love with a person, you are stronger than you're thinking. You just want to go. Do you feel that way? Do you love life? Then you are right there where you know yourself. And that is where yesterday evening I had
Starting point is 00:43:54 thousands of people coming to my show. I just show up. That is what I'm doing. I got nothing premeditated. I'm standing there and I take on the energy which is coming from souls. A.I. is empty.
Starting point is 00:44:13 We are two eyes with a soul. I go for the fullness of that all past any fear because I'm the soul and the soul is unbreakable everlasting it's in love with life and that is where I am fulfilling the soul of my deceased wife of the mother of my children of my mother she is there who put me on this mission of my friends who passed away because of all kinds of diseases. I'm going to beat disease, depression, and bring the soul the way nature meant it to be.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Wham, I feel so much power in your spirit and your heart, and I think that for many people, it's born from deep heartbreak in those moments where you feel numb, you can't take in how much is transpiring in your life, and that brings you to depths that you might have otherwise not felt. But who was being born in those instances, you know, and easier to connect the dots looking backwards. But I'm just, I'm interested and I'm curious how connected and correlated the deep pain and the beautiful heart sharing and how connected you are with your heart and how many people you support millions across the globe now are how those two are connected. I love how much conviction you share in your voice
Starting point is 00:45:51 and that how possible and powerful these realizations can be for all of us and that we're claiming that sovereignty back to the individual whoever's listening right now and through your practices and all that you share, it's just so empowering because I think right now we're fed so many messages of how separate we are of the division and the narratives that always separate us through caste and creed and religions and genders and all of it. But you come back into the breath and you come back into conversations and communities and individuals
Starting point is 00:46:25 like yourself that give you that reminder of how powerful we really are. So just so much gratitude for you being here today and having a new brother and what you have gone on to do since those moments. I'm sure it wasn't always clear. You know, you've had many moments of ups and downs and insights. but the culmination of you studying these different yogic traditions and different practices, everything happening with your wife and your kids, to then go on and explore the cold and the breath as a powerful teacher in life.
Starting point is 00:47:01 I suppose what comes down to the core message from all this lived experience? You're doing it in many different ways through the studies and the cold and the breath. what is the core message and what you want to remind people? First of all, I show my respect to you too and my gratitude for being here. I see you as a person of light. I can see, I can feel, no bullshit, no nonsense. You've got a great message just to be here
Starting point is 00:47:34 and make witness anybody else about lightness of being. I can feel it. It's good word. Great work. This world needs the light, not the darkness and light, not the heaviness. You got it. You got it embodied. That's why you possibly are able to sift out exactly the essence of what I got, so we can pass it on to humanity for those who seek, who need. That is love. So that is to start with. And then the core, the core message of mine, right? now is after so many pathways done, after so much science done, I've come to the conclusion that there is a wall of ignorance, a wall of opportunistic greed and money and power going on. We got so much technology, yet we are barbaric the way we are in the world. It's time for the love. It's time for the soul. And these simple tools I have found make people really able to get back to the factory settings of Mother Nature.
Starting point is 00:48:51 That is to love each other and to hug each other instead of, oh, sorry, I touched you. Hey, who did that, man? It's not about sex. It's about love. And that is fucking good. You know, I just wake up people. And I say it's time for the soul. We have been playing in the shit show enough.
Starting point is 00:49:17 Too much wars. Too much. Are we men? Are we able to protect our children? We are children ourselves in the face of Mother Nature. Are we playful? Are we powerful? So powerful that we can play, that we don't feel fear.
Starting point is 00:49:38 All that we are. are not. It takes beings of light. The new people, the new real investigators, not these so-called scientists in the Hayakic system, who are just sitting there following the industry, not humanity. So for that, the podcasts, is the new way to spread what is really going on and what is really benefiting to humanity. My core message therein for in this podcast to do be spread is simple. Through these tools, cold and breathing, we are able to get back into the depth of ourselves, into the autonomic nervous system and the autonomous processes in the brain.
Starting point is 00:50:30 Autonomous means outside our will. and autonomy means that you are a person who is able to handle his emotions, his freedom, his energy, his body and mind. It's all there. And it's every day it should be there unconditionally. But not in a society that demands us to be narrow-minded and serve this system like a brick in the wall. We are no bricks in the wall, guys. We are the whole house. and we should be able to go into any space of that house
Starting point is 00:51:07 because it's our temple and our being there makes it sacred. And that is our brain. We should be able to go into any space of our own brain, which is connected to the central nervous system and it's connected everywhere. And it doesn't mean that you need to be everywhere in the house. No, you sit like we sit. relaxed in the living room. And when you are sleepy, you go to sleep nicely.
Starting point is 00:51:38 It's another room. Then you don't, you're no longer in the living room. And then in the kitchen to make some food. And then with the kids there, and there you play, make music. There you get with the dog. And don't go all the time in the house because he's going to shit in the house. So you need to go out. I could be a billionaire already.
Starting point is 00:52:01 but I am not a seller. I'm the living room. I think perfect to splice in here is the Wimhoff method, which you guided me through before this. We did the cold. So let's cut to some of that footage now that helps show exactly what are a few of these practices that you've implemented, you shared with millions of people,
Starting point is 00:52:23 and that is a direct access point for people to experience this themselves. Exactly. No better way than showing it the way we did. It is simple, effective, scientifically endorsed. This is the way we beat a bacteria injected. This is the way we showed 100% of the brain being activated. This is the way we showed how to get a halt over the endocrine system, the hormonal system, in the depth, the endocannabinoid system.
Starting point is 00:52:55 It's all there if you are able to go consciously into the depth of the brain, which is the endocannabinoid system, periaquoduct of gray hemispheres. Look it up. It's all fancy names. It means you regain control over your own brain. Isn't that logical? We don't have a mass of meat inside which is outside of our control. What sense does that make?
Starting point is 00:53:22 It should be 100% you in control over your own brain, the seed of the mind and its unlimited power. Amazing. Let's go out there. A quick share. If you've been feeling sluggish, you might not need more sleep or caffeine. You could just be dehydrated. And hydration is not just about drinking water. It's about having enough electrolytes that support your body to properly absorb that fluid. Element contains a science-backed electrolyte ratio of sodium, potassium, and magnesium that helps regulate your appetite, curb your cravings, and improve your brain function. There's no sugar. or artificial colors, no junk, and they just released their new 12 ounce cans, which I drink almost every single day. I'm a huge fan of them. They are pineapple, orange, black cherry, and lemonade. I love these three right here. If you want to try them out, you can get a free eight-count sample pack of elements most popular flavors with any purchase at

Starting point is 00:54:42 Here we are seated like in a meditation pose. Tranquil, relaxed. A relaxed body is able to store up oxygen. So do you feel relaxed? I feel relaxed? Nice. Okay. Then use your belly
Starting point is 00:54:59 and your chest to inhale deeply and let it go and fully in let it go all in let it go fully in let it go pull in and go all in let it go pull in and go and go and go Cool in, go. Keep on going. Andre, keep on going. I'm talking to the view while you do this. What is happening with Andre right now is called respiratory alkalosis. We make alkalize the body.
Starting point is 00:55:51 Through breathing out the CO2, the blood becomes alkaline. Alkalinity makes the nervous system react and function better. And then it goes into the depth. It's called the autonomic nervous system. This was before thought in science impossible. But he is alkalizing the blood, and thus suddenly his blood changed its biochemistry.
Starting point is 00:56:21 He's becoming an alchymus. So can you. So Fulian, becoming light-headed, looming the body. very soon after 10 of these deep breath, Andre will stay 90 seconds after exhalation without breathing. Is that possible? Yes, very possible because we suppressed by alkalizing the blood the CO2 breathing trigger. It's down, so you don't feel that you have a need to breathe.
Starting point is 00:56:54 What happens in the 10 times, three more. What happens is that you don't breathe and your deep brain suddenly is biohacked. And it shoots out adrenaline. Then he becomes strong to go into the ice bath. Tranquil and nice. Okay. Last one. Full the end.
Starting point is 00:57:17 Let it go. And stop. Close your mouth. No smuggling. No nothing. He is in no need to breathe right now. after exhalation. So he has a residual amount of oxygen,
Starting point is 00:57:34 not enough to normally function. But he is okay. This is when the parasympathetic nervous system is working. The rehabilitated, the regenerator, the healer in the body, the vagus nerve. He's in peace while he is actually in stress, according to the brainstem. So the brainstem activates the adrenal axis.
Starting point is 00:57:58 That is hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and the adrenal glands. And suddenly anything that should be out of his body to become the best version of himself is being expelled through the activation of that adrenal spike. He is still without breathing after exhalation. Excellent. This is the way we work as a greatest biohack, and so simple. You better do it. This is the way we get rid of the shit inside and become the strongest version of who we are. Say five, four, three, two, one.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Fulian! Hold it and squeeze it to your head. There's a spinal fluid squeezed to your head, squeezed to your head, entering into the brainstem, the mammalian brain, the human brain, the corona radiata. 100% of his brain is activated right now. Cleansing. Three, two, one, let it go. Well done. We do one round more so you can understand. It is simple, very profound. This is the way we have been injected with the bacteria. Bacteria is. no chance. Why? Because we become the best version of ourselves. We clean ourselves up in the depth and suddenly the immune system works, the autonomic nervous system works, all within our
Starting point is 00:59:38 dominion. It is amazing. Okay. Once more. I'll do it. Yeah, right now, man. It's all about the love. Here it is, love and power. Julian, let it go. All right. All in. Let it go. Pull in. Let it go. All in. Go. Hey. Go. Yeah. Everybody has his own rhythm.
Starting point is 01:00:09 Pulling in. Let him go. In. Love. Go with your heart. Have heart for your heart. Go with the flow. In. Go. Oi-Go. Julian.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Oi-go. Oi-go. O-y-go. This is pure cathars. We are doing the study right now in San Diego. And it shows that this works 800% better than normal brain-waste cleansing. No cost.
Starting point is 01:00:51 Just breathe. That's why I say, just breathe, motherfucker. motherfucker. Hey, bang. Hey, so simple. Powerful. Here it is.
Starting point is 01:01:01 Go with the flow. Yeah. Go. Free. Go. Free. Go. Fool in.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Go. Three. Anybody can do this. Hey. Go. Fool again. Go. Hey.
Starting point is 01:01:18 Go. Five more. Go. Go. Fool it in. Go. Three, go, four, go, five, go. Last one, brilliant.
Starting point is 01:01:31 Let it go, and stop. It's going to be two minutes without breathing after exhalation. No air in the lungs. This normally is not able to happen, but we are the alchemists. We change the biochemistry. We alkalize the blood. Suddenly we get into the deep survival brain. And that is the place of all the opioids, of all the cannabinoids, all the dopamine.
Starting point is 01:02:03 If you feel depressed, it's a lack of dopamine. We are crushing it here right now. 250% more dopamine. Neurotransmitters, you will feel alive and clean and strong, silently. Because in the cold, it's. It is stress, but suddenly you're able to, oh, relax. It's icy water. Amazing.
Starting point is 01:02:33 You got that power inside, activated. You can do this any day, and you are the best version of yourself. Still on after exhalation. Once again, excellent. Excellentissimo. Excellent. This is what they say of the president. His excellence.
Starting point is 01:03:01 Excellence is bio-acting. Into the best version of yourself. Five, four, three, two, one, Fulian. All that? Squeeze it as if you got a shit on the toilet. Now the shit gets out there. Yeah, man, it's so simple.
Starting point is 01:03:20 I explained it in the primary school to children. It's like pooping. You squeeze. The shit doesn't want to get out. You got shit in the brain. You got a guy's shit out of here. Yeah. Get rid of the shit.
Starting point is 01:03:39 And I did that with this. You know, with the school kids. And everybody, they loved it. And they understand. Because the thing is, what is powerful? Doesn't
Starting point is 01:03:53 freedom. doesn't cost anything. Freedom is for free. Power to be is unconditional. Like that. It's who we are and what we are. And we found the Bowery Hacks. We went to the universities, to the hospitals. They got us injected with the bacteria normally that makes you sick, very sick, very controlled experiment, not in our case. Because we became the best version of ourselves. We are the healers of our ourselves. That is the law of nature. Let's go. Yeah, right on. Good. I feel that power. Yeah. Oh wait a minute. Let's do a little horse stance. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Horstance is standing like this because then the thighs, they are connected to the adrenal axis and we make a move so they can hear us. Ah! We all righte Wee Warriors We all Ah! We are
Starting point is 01:05:32 Wee Ah! We stand We are strong Confirm for yourself I'm strong I'm standing in the universe Right there
Starting point is 01:05:57 right there where I gotta be. Now we will go to the mirror cold to cold and make it a very pleasant experience because we are in power. Arctic Ocean. Okay. So do you want to guide me or do you want to go first? Should I go first?
Starting point is 01:06:24 Oh yeah, I'm not going in the cold. It's too cold for me. I'm an older man, I'm a feeble. Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. I got that one. I learned of JP. He went to do not me.
Starting point is 01:06:38 Okay, I can go first. You know what? We can both. Both go? Yes. All right. Oh, buddy. Relax, long outbreak. Easy, da man, fun.
Starting point is 01:06:57 We are man. We are man. We are men. Oh, they did love him, but we are mad, man. Hey, we are strong. Relaxed. Hey, relaxed. What's happening to us right now, when we're cuddling in the cold plunge.
Starting point is 01:07:18 Yeah. What's happening to our physiology, our mind, our body? Yes. So, killer number one is cardiovascular-related diseases. Because we never train our cardiovascular workout. It's never been done. done. The cold is able to make that happen. What it is, it's called adapting to the environmental stress, the activation of the adrenal axis that makes you strong, and suddenly
Starting point is 01:07:47 all kinds of hormones set in that enabled to nullify the impact of the cold. Or in other words, your inner power suddenly becomes so strong that you don't feel the cold anymore. And that means that the workout for your vascular system is optimized. And suddenly these veins are all at work. It's 70,000 miles of veins, arteries, and capillaries in everybody. And we never trained them. And this is the best way to train them, by which the heart doesn't need to work as much. Are you still okay? I'm okay. Yeah. Me too. We are. We are are cool, literally. Very cool.
Starting point is 01:08:33 Two cool dudes. Six, seven. And by the way, very good for your balls. Because the balls need some... They are outside of our body, not at the side of the body. We always squeeze them to the heat. To the body of the body.
Starting point is 01:08:51 That's no good. That is the way it's prostrate. Cancer happens at a certain moment. Too long, too hot. So this is like bringing taking out your dog to shit, taking the balls back in their true nature. Amazing.
Starting point is 01:09:07 I never thought of taking a coal plunger is taking your dog to shit. Yeah. I love it. Yeah, yeah. What's the number one thing that the cold has taught you in life? First of all, to shut up.
Starting point is 01:09:21 Because I am a talker and all. I was ruminating in my head, but once then instinctively I went into the cold, I felt this is it without words, because Rumi came to me. Rumi is like poetry, the life itself, easiness, a heartbeat going down. Not this frenetic train in the head. It stopped. It made it shut up.
Starting point is 01:09:51 And suddenly, their life appeared. That was my beginning. And now I know it is the end of cannabino. system that is being activated through the cold, which is the cannabinoids and the opioids. Cold is pain. This is the way we are activating the pain center in the brain. And suddenly we got all the opioids we need. Let's go out.
Starting point is 01:10:17 Yeah. Good. So you better get into the cold if you want to live longer and stronger. What do you think humanity needs to hear? What's the most important message that we need to all be reminded right now? It is very close how to... Because we took the signs on it, so there is no speculation about what I say. We now know how to biohack into the deepest of our physiology, both in the brain and the body.
Starting point is 01:11:03 just to cleanse the whatever biochemical shit that is coming in from our modern day behavior and radiation and PFAS and microplastics and the shit food we take and all and then the neurotoxins of relationships so we don't know how to handle anger,
Starting point is 01:11:25 how to regulate emotions, all that has come to an end because I went through science and showed that we can beat all these demons. And that's where I am, because we are beings of light. Not heavy, light, not dark.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Every day, unconditionally. That's what I want to transmit. Just try it out. Blame me if it doesn't work. But if it works, pass it on. It's about love. Let's go off. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:00 So that was amazing. I feel really good from this morning, the cold, the sun, the movement, the breath. There's something so powerful about realizing that it's also all free. And you've been quoted in many different ways saying that if you don't go after the cold, into the cold, the cold will come after you. And right now we live in a time with more external comforts than any society previously, but we have an internal slavery to these dopaminergic devices and the food and all these industries that prey on our attention.
Starting point is 01:12:35 And the reminder you keep giving us is to come back and to realize the faculties we have that we had since we were born and to make use of them. And so what do you think about choosing stress so stress doesn't choose us? I did this on stage two. Let it rip.
Starting point is 01:12:56 Yeah, just let it rip, man. Don't be our IP, rest in peace. Yeah, I have some piece. I have a piece of it. And rip it. Rip cool. Go. Serve on the brainwaves.
Starting point is 01:13:12 I just did recently a big study. And it is, as you said, actually, if you don't go after the cult and the cold will come after you. If you don't go to distress, then the stress will come to you. So we did a study with 500 people. And we got it published in nature. So that means no speculation about it. We got thousands and thousands of data to show compared to meditation, which is a great thing, meditation and mindfulness, a great thing, but not necessarily effective to battle stress,
Starting point is 01:13:53 modern day stress. We need more deeper, more intense, anti-stressful. techniques to battle that effectively. So we did that study compared to meditation and mindfulness. Meditation and mindfulness with whoop biometric watches. So there's no speculation about it. They were measured all the time. And the people doing meditation and mindfulness,
Starting point is 01:14:29 they were exposed to normal daily. stress and then the people doing the whim up method. It bears my name. I didn't give it, but I like it. It's okay. If you got to stand up, you stand up, you honor the name. Okay, I do that. But I was not in this study, yeah? Sometimes I spoke on the Zoom, but that's all. So the study is done completely independently. So they did that and then they did the whim of method. and 404 people were included. So there it was. And now the results.
Starting point is 01:15:10 The results show that this works 300% better towards stress resilience than meditation and mindfulness. 300% better in development of cognitive awareness compared to meditation and mindfulness. and 400% in energy boost compared to meditation and mindfulness. And then they found another compound. And that is the psychological parameter done by the University of Harvard, who was included in that big study, which is published in nature. So no speculation, a lot of peer reviewing, and again, it took three years. so it has been gone through all the mills and filters and doctors and again and again and again and again
Starting point is 01:16:08 and then they found that superpower trust not through the meditation and mindfulness but here suddenly they could there's a new psychological parameters existent protocolized scientifically and it shows how to measure trust. Trust is a department in our brain. It's part of the subcortical higher functioning of the brain. Subcortical means out of the cortical awareness, that is our modern day alertness awareness. And then like subconsciousness, you have subcortical below it.
Starting point is 01:16:56 And that is responsible for, say, trust, confidence, creativity, empathy, all these abstract values have space in the brain. But we had no connection with it. And now we go back into the practice, the tools, the cold and the breathing are so good in biohacking the body to ignite the depth of the physiology in the body and in the brain that we suddenly are able to access. into the subcortical higher functioning of the brain called trust. And they could measure it. And they saw that. And people in life, suddenly they were able to work so much better because they were not competing.
Starting point is 01:17:44 They were working together as social human being snow fear, just being creative. They talk back to the authority. because authority shits like us. They pee like us. They don't pee or shit better than me. They say equally brown or maybe yellow
Starting point is 01:18:05 because you ate wrong. And then you say it. You talk back to authority. Does it make sense? Yeah. So no. And if you know more, then I can be taught. I love to be taught.
Starting point is 01:18:20 It's very boring if you're not being taught new things. So I love to be taught, but not to be oppressed in a hierarchical system and being told what to do. That is like bring your soul down. That is no good. But this society is built upon that paradigm. So I'm breaking that paradigm and bring people back to their autonomy and they can trust it. So those were the results of that. And it's now out there.
Starting point is 01:18:55 I love everything you were just sharing it. It just makes me think of how we are not taught basic functionings of the body and the breath, that if we did, we would have a radically transformed society. When it comes to the breath, we can feel the immediate benefits after doing a practice, you know, like Wim Hof, various different pranayamas that date back thousands and thousands of years. When it comes to each nostril having a different. effect on our nervous system and the various you know dozens of different forms of ways we can use our breath to modulate our neurochemistry and our physiology what do you wish
Starting point is 01:19:39 everyone understood about the power of our breath? Was a woman lying on the ground doing for the breathing and she was asking me, wait a woman, how do I have to breathe through this nostril or this one or the mouth or the diaphragm or the belly or maybe it's a how do I do it? I said, baby, relax. Use any hole you got. Just get it in and let it go. It's not complicated anymore. The old pranayamas, the Suria Beda Tadva, the Chandra Beda Tadva, the kumbakas, the Kavala kumbaka, the Antara. I know all that. But it doesn't work in the cold because it is not of the cold.
Starting point is 01:20:31 These practices are off long ago. Back then we had modern, back then we had different environmental stresses to solve with breathing techniques and to soothe in our nervous system. Right now, we live in a modern society with 10 times more neural activity going on in the brain. We look the same, but inside adults, chains. That's why we got iPhones. That's why we got technology. And probably we are aliens and they got in that way and we think we are talking about aliens. Man, we are alienating from planet Earth all the time. So it is time to start to make this Earth a paradise.
Starting point is 01:21:20 And how do we do that by effective biohacking and getting back. back into the natural settings of Mother Nature. And they are there for anybody, any day. And now I'm proving this. It is like having a bike outside. And every morning you go past that bike, and it's beautiful. Beautiful color and all you admire the bike. But you have to walk to your work.
Starting point is 01:21:51 And it's fatiguing. Every day the same end of rain and this and that. You do your work and you do it well, but it's so fatiguing to go to the work and come back all these kilometers because you don't know that that bike is yours. You don't know that your mind is yours. And I'm proving time after time in scientific comparative studies how the brain really works. So we can become aware of our true. capacities. And with that, we are very able to regulate our emotions, to feel unconditional power of love
Starting point is 01:22:38 every day, and to fulfill and realize our soul. For that, we have a servant called our brain the seed of the mind. And that is all there. And then we feel the sacredness of us, because we are holy beings, not in dualism. We are in conflict with our own soul. And at the end of the life, so many people asking themselves, what did I do with my life? And for those now I say, life is here. And it doesn't stop after we die and pass over. It didn't start with our birth. But while we are alive, we better live up to our purpose. Let's make this world a paradise. Not only for you, ego, let's, we go. And we go for all the kids in the world, because we are man and we defy fear, and we will make that contribution absolutely effective to make this world a great place.
Starting point is 01:23:49 That's where we are. That's where we are. Being on the Know That Self podcast, I have, I think what starts as a doorway to stress management, being healthy, exploring breathwork, we start to feel better. In the longer sessions have some mystical experiences, encounter consciousness in a deeper context. And I know this is something you've explored a lot. And I'm curious what your thoughts are on what's happening internally and what do you really believe is consciousness in who we are in our most fundamental essence. As we do these breathwork practices, we have this flood of endogenous chemicals, we have a deeper experience of self beyond just our own thoughts and emotions.
Starting point is 01:24:30 What in your experience have you encountered in those deeper sessions? I got a question of a professor who is into consciousness. I do these winter expeditions, 250 people present in a room, and then questions and answers. And there was this professor. and he is into consciousness in all kinds of traditions he said I've studied it all last 40 years but I still got this question
Starting point is 01:24:59 how do you grow your consciousness and I told him right there because I don't know what the fuck I know I know I don't know but I do it because I have the right to get to know they're right there in the moment I connect
Starting point is 01:25:18 simply with the omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotency. It's there. And I trust it. I trust it from rock-bottom faith that I will be able to connect and that I will have a question, answered at that moment. So I said, I can pick your brain, I said. And I'm not a professor. He is, and he is a specialist.
Starting point is 01:25:48 in consciousness. And he felt it. And then I said, the question is great. It's genuine. A true seeker becomes a finder. If you stay in your shit and you just rhetorically ask a question,
Starting point is 01:26:11 then you get shit back. But you are not into that. This is a genuine question. A true seeker will find, hey, I'm just connected with nature. I think the way nature meant it to be. Because it's not me filling up with academic kind of consciousness. It doesn't work.
Starting point is 01:26:34 I am here connected to the omniscience, which is there for everybody. It's an open library. You can pick it, you got a question, you send a signal, you get the answer. And the answer was very simple. There are two types of consciousness. One is to fulfill yourself, and when your cup is full, you can fill others. And once you do that, you fill yourself up with this power of love for life.
Starting point is 01:27:08 Your soul feels good. No conflict. The soul is driven by love. It's beautiful. The love is the greatest power. Because you don't think anymore. You just feel. And that field,
Starting point is 01:27:24 filled fulfilled. Could call it full field. Whatever. We can play with words. It doesn't matter. So that is first you fill your own cup. Like any child needs to learn to first stand up and to walk. These neurological pathways need to connect.
Starting point is 01:27:46 And then we get into consciousness. and how to expand consciousness, always follow your feeling, trust your feeling, trust your soul to be here with that purpose, giving you all the power to realize its purpose, its work. And so we are built, and so is everybody, and that's the way we actually should be schooled in our schools,
Starting point is 01:28:14 to be ready to serve others. to bring the love, to heal the world, effectively, because our soul is able to do that through the unlimited power of the mind. The omniscience is serving us. Omnipotency is the power is serving us. When the mind is stilt and not your enemy, then it becomes your ally, your greatest ally. And then you can do anything. And I didn't use as many words as I did, just very short, but he knew he felt. The question was answered, something he was looking for the last 40 years.
Starting point is 01:29:02 Bing, very simple. What is it that you think we're fundamentally looking for as seekers on this path? What are we really looking for? That is exactly what this is. What I'm doing is showing the universities how the real physiology of the nervous system works. The nervous system is electricity. It's the light. How we came in here, how we sing, are you afraid of the light?
Starting point is 01:29:37 Did you ever feel you can trust? Very simple things. we took them for granted and we should not think about it but make it happen and I will make it happen through neuro mechanistic science and show it in devices,
Starting point is 01:29:59 measuring and show it in brain scans, how it all works because what I can do, anybody can do. I just love humanity so much that I will get rid of the shit. in humanity and make this world a pure, clean place where our children will play in their paradise. That's what I'm doing. And it's coming.
Starting point is 01:30:26 And it's almost unbelievable, eh? Because after so many hundreds of years of academics and we still don't know nothing, this is a doctor army and met is a top neurosurgeon and he's got his own. building and all the people at the top when they have difficulties with brains and they go over there. It's in Germany and we're talking three hours. And then he said, Whim, I know everything of the brain. I've been operating thousands of times into the brain. We know nothing of the brain.
Starting point is 01:31:09 And I say, nature knows how to be. go. And what is that? Not only to survive, but to thrive. We are here for a soul, not to be mechanistically into the brain and how it all functions and your mathematics and your history and how to I'm better than you. No, are you the best of yourself? So this is what I say to the biggest fighters and the biggest Olympians and biggest academic. I say, hey, I don't care how good you are. Make you better. So listen up.
Starting point is 01:31:50 And what is it? Listen to this inner voice. Listen to yourself, to your trust. Do you trust yourself? Do you feel that? Because any question can be answered if you only follow the breath. Trust it. And you will see in brain scans 100% of yourself.
Starting point is 01:32:15 And suddenly your house becomes alive. And you are able to enter into any room you need to go. And you know what? All these spirits, the ancestors, they are within you. They have passed over what they could not solve. Their souls are captivated in your genes. You can liberate them. We go past time because the soul doesn't know time.
Starting point is 01:32:44 If you realize your soul, you're able to go into the gene expressions and liberate those souls as well, those spirits as well. That is the way we respect our forefathers and foremothers, the way we oppress with our colonial imperialistic way. The natives in the world, it's over. they are back to liberate the world and to bring their soul for everybody in the world.
Starting point is 01:33:19 So good, man. Yeah, that to feel that responsibility as well, like we have the ability to be a powerful agent of change for the generations that are to come after us, for the generations that came before us, that keeps coming back to that reminder of that power.
Starting point is 01:33:39 And when you talk about those two answers you gave from for like first filling up your own cup and then moving forward from that place of knowing and it overflows into all of humanity, I love when you get so fired up and animated about ending the tyranny and the suffering that is so pervasive right now on the planet and how possible it is. That's what we do. Yeah. Because it feels like right now we're just so often fed the narrative that we can't do anything. like it just is what it is, you know?
Starting point is 01:34:12 And so, yeah, conversations like this also reignite that fire within myself. And I think that's what we do for each other, you know. Power is there. And you got them. You got them. You are a great soul. You're full of light. Keep on going the way you go.
Starting point is 01:34:30 I'm here just to be by your side. To reinforce you, you reinforce me. We inspire each other. Inspiring is inspiration. Inspiration is actually a breath in. That is our spirit comes in and alive. Breathe deep. Go deep.
Starting point is 01:34:53 And claim your own power of your own mind. A man who is in control of his mind knows how to regulate its emotion. He will choose happiness. And a happy man doesn't go to war. A happy man is not into. greet, this is the way we are going to stop tyranny. Done. Over. C-T-R-L- Delete. Bang. Out of here. Oh, bad. It's so good. You're so witty, too. You got all these puns and it's just so beautiful when they come out. Is there a question in your life that you're looking to have answered right now,
Starting point is 01:35:36 that you're living right now? No, I'm in love with life. And, you know, when you are in love, you don't think. You just want to go reach your goal. And what is that subject? Could be a woman, could be a man, could be my is the goal. I got a beautiful family. I'm a lucky devil or a lucky angel.
Starting point is 01:35:58 Whatever it is, we are here in Los Angeles. I'm an angel, man. I'm flying. And you all show, you are light. You are not heavy. you're not dark, you're light. We are flying. So I love that.
Starting point is 01:36:14 I'm not looking for anything but this, what we are doing right now. Because know thyself, I know myself, I'm here to serve. The service is felt, my friend. Yeah, thank you. Beautiful. What do you have coming up
Starting point is 01:36:32 over the next couple years? It seems like you've been sharing more with your talks and whatnot. Studies. Studies. A lot of studies. I will prove that we have the neurology, that we got a terrorist, we found it. It's inside, not outside. It's inside. To how to become happy, strong and healthy beyond any speculation for anybody in the world. Let's make the, it's time for the soul. So I'm going to continue with a couple of more blocks to make the temple visible for anybody to go in. themselves and realize it. I really appreciate and respect that because I think science is
Starting point is 01:37:15 the modern language to be able to really convince the mainstream and so all the studies that you have been doing and verifying scientifically what you know internally and what you've experienced in your life, that translation is so needed right now because then it can reach all walks of life. A lot of people need that science
Starting point is 01:37:33 to be that doorway in. So that's very exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out in the near future. future more. And I'll be back. Yeah. Oh, we got to have you back. Yeah. We got to be back because you are my spiritual son or brother, whatever you want. I'm there. I love you. Thank you, man. You're amazing. And I feel amazing. I love it. Thank you. Thank you so much. Yeah. All right, everybody. This has been a powerful episode filled with energy. And I'm so curious to see how it's resonated with you.
