the underground Roman techno good but yeah he's not the real deal about anything else well bummer so we start here at the beginning of the episode on February 25th and this is where we're going to dive immediately into the discussion about Alex's prediction right and here we go all hell has broken loose now a lot of people have asked how did I know in October November December this is coming and I told you how I knew that the ice melts at the end of February and the tanks would bog down so if Russia was going to invade they do it by the end of February and major financial individuals I talked to the

highest levels said get ready for war in February not just Russia but also China and I told you that so you could get ready and a lot of people just marvel and say how does he do it he must be a secret agent or or Jones must just make a lot of predictions and this one stuck no no I said for the last four months five months that it would come at the end of February that's what I said so one of the central pieces of Alex's coverage of the invasion of Ukraine has been about how he said that there was going to be a war by the end of February back in the fall to early winter of last year that's become a bit of a meme and you

can see people posting about Alex's remarkable prediction on Twitter and other message boards so I felt like a really good use of our time would be to really dig into this and see what Alex predicted and talk about why he's full of shit right on band.video Alex posted a video with the title quote watch Alex Jones predict war in Ukraine by February compilation this is on his own website but it's providing evidence of his prediction so this is what I'm going to base my discussion on right it's his own evidence exactly with the title watch Alex Jones predict war in Ukraine by February compilation done so

it is a compilation of a number of clips from different shows he did so I'm gonna deal with them one at a time none of this is selectively edited to remove anything from the compilation he posted these clips are going to be played exactly as they appear they're only separated by which show they're from right so this first clip here is from October 21st 2021 the smart money is on a war with China and I don't want a war but we're looking at a giant war in February right now currently that's the projections with the top people on the earth who claim they're not with the new order combine is war in February and

this is the type of time like right before World War one right before World War two when everything kicks off and I hope that doesn't happen but currently that is the trajectory we're on and there is a consensus on that and a large consensus I don't mean a consensus with people that just live here in Austin the new main power hub of the country I'm talking about all over the world we have contacts and general Flynn thinks war with China is imminent he was raised the alarm 10 years ago on that that's why they got mad at him so all the smart people I talked to say the same thing I'm seeing so the first obvious problem

with this clip is that Alex is predicting a war with China which hasn't happened I understand that this is his own evidence yes so he left the part in where he said this is gonna be war with China right that is a problem yeah so taken at face value this has nothing to do with Russia or Ukraine and that's a that's a problem for me yeah the second thing to note here is that while Alex is talking if you watch the video they flash up b-roll of a video of Rogan's podcast which doesn't make sense unless you know the larger context of where this clip came from when Alex mentions this new power center in Austin that's

because just before this clip Alex had to repeatedly and embarrassingly insist that he wasn't just talking about Rogan and the reason he had to do this is because these comments that he's making on the 21st are actually an extension of a story he told the day before which is from the 20th it's the evil can't help but it's got to go for the children so don't think this is the authority don't think it's gonna succeed don't think any of that because it will fail but probably in a giant war and we were all of a consensus that this is gonna end in just a gigantic massive war and and and Billions dead but I don't know that

consensus between those folks is public yet but I guess it's kind of here oh some other things too I learned some really interesting things but I've got a couch it certain ways so I'm not ready to talk about that at that time because I didn't just learn a lot from Joe and all the people he runs with you can probably imagine just the top of the structure and the none of them like it but I can just tell you Elon Musk what he tells Joe and that's not a secret it is he doesn't like what's going on so Alex has been out with Rogan the night before having some drinks along with Lex Friedman and Michael Malis the

information that Alex allegedly has it comes from them second hand which Alex is very clear about on the 20th there I was at dinner last night and then went out and saw one of the shows with Joe Rogan and Lex Friedman and Michael Malis but that was quite a quite a group of people there and just this is all just foregone conclusion we all know it there's no debating it it's out in the open and we just sat there and discussed what it's gonna be like going through this and I learned a lot of interesting intel from those guys that I won't say on air because they all have their own little intel so this is an instance of

Alex using one of his regular strategies which is basically just a combination of escalation and obscuring things on the 20th he tells a story of being out with Rogan and a couple of his weirdo friends and over drinks they talk about how they feel like war is coming then on the 21st Alex embellishes this story to be about all these high-level sources he's talking to when in reality it's just a continuation of a story from the day prior which is why he needs to insist that he's not just talking about Rogan Alex does this a lot we've seen instances of him taking information that a caller gives him one day which he then

goes on to report is coming from an unnamed high-level source the next day I guess what Alex probably wants the audience to think is that at a minimum this is something that Elon Musk has told Rogan and then Rogan's told Alex but it doesn't really matter the information he's providing doesn't come from any high-level source and more importantly the prediction that he's made based on that fake Intel hasn't come true this is about war with China yeah it's not relevant again it's also about United States war with China yes which the United States is not currently at war with China am I correct you are okay so

onto the next clip now this clip is from July 21st 2021 and you better get pumped because it features a guest appearance from the guy who took soul credit for 9-11 Leo Zagami Leo Zagami is a real one oh yeah first is biological bacteriological virus next is the cyber which they tell us in the next is nuclear lay that out yes the cyber warfare basically is already taking place with all these hackers that are working constantly and then of course we have the nuclear now the nuclear is already starting to be announced China here it is they threatened China threatened to nuke Taiwan yesterday here's

the headline Fox News go ahead keep going official Chinese daily they said we will nuke Japan so as you can see that gradually these free phases of this period that we unfortunately gonna be living and that the wheel of course diminish the population of the earth that is absolutely nothing to do with the current situation it doesn't mention February 2022 and it has to do with nuclear or radiological weapons being used by China not Russia this clip is also being taken wildly out of context in order for it to be used in this compilation here is the actual context of what Alex and Leo are talking about

just before this clip starts yeah what's the time frame you're I know you don't want to say but you don't know but what's the time frame of the anti-crash takeover how long just happened how long we got to survive from 2020 to 2030 there's a free stages takeover the first is bacteriological warfare the second is cyber warfare the third is nuclear warfare so these free scenarios will be unveiled in the next nine years this conversation has nothing to do with Russia invading Ukraine let alone doing it in February it's two lunatics talking about they imagine the devil's schedule looks like over the

his hoof he does seem to need to be busy all the time it's nonsense yeah so this next clip is from February 17th 2021 and it's important to understand that this show that it came from was during the 2021 winter storm in Texas so Alex is particularly grumpy about how he doesn't have his fun LED background in the studio and they have to run the show on backup generators they may even have Biden stand down and receive a first strike to our military bases from China my guts never been wrong and I keep ever very intense nightmares the last month that the United States is gonna be hit by nuclear weapons by China and is gonna

stand down and gonna receive the attack and I've looked at all the evidence to they're preparing us with with staying your homes oh your powers off that they turn the power off I'll prove that coming up but they admit they did by the way it's in the fine print nope and they're just getting us ready for the disaster not gonna hit the main cities they're gonna hit the military bases very good chance that they're gonna either blow the entire power grid with EMPs which they've been conditioning us to get ready for or they're gonna hit us with a first strike and you're like oh that's and that's crazy now this is war

is about China nuking the US yeah and he's also not like he's like I say he's not talking about any specific time frame this is a year ago this clip is utterly meaningless in terms what this this compilation is supposed to demonstrate namely that Alex predicted this war back in mid to late 2021 it's this is shit here's what I am getting from this right Alex without question has at a certain point in time said that Russia and Ukraine will go to war I have no doubt of that yeah somewhere along the line I mean one of these clips will sort of get into that right and they could find more but that would take a lot

of effort probably so they got to the recent ones and they were like that's pretty good and I also think that as this this next clip that we're going to talk about sort of illustrates maybe some of the times he talked about it would undercut his actual argument totally the point of this of compilation so let's get to that this next clip is from November 16th 2021 and it's pretty short and I don't get butterflies a lot and having really big ones today I think a big war is about to start something big is about to go down that means nothing but you probably are asking why is that clip so short in this compilation it seems

well huh smart to cut that clip real short in the clip where he's predicting war yeah he says that the Russians would not invade Ukraine the CIA says that yeah like whoever put this compilation together has to have known that that's what he says immediately after this clip but the part where he says oh I feel like war is coming that's useful for the compilation and they know that fucking people who see this compilation aren't going to have the time or the interest to go back and be right wait immediately after this he said that Russia isn't gonna invade Ukraine right so this means that not

only is his compilation entirely about the United States and China fighting yes which is not happening it is also removing the parts where he has said Russia won't do the thing that is happening in order to bolster his case that he is not just not wrong yeah but prescient yeah it's an abusive lie and it's very intentional when you see stuff like that it's a it's a clear fingerprints of someone being like shit well actually said the opposite of what this compilation is supposed to depict so cut it out so we can just make it look like he did yep it's such it's such dog shit it is like how a child would

think of it yeah or or a liar yeah a liar that's what so the next clip here is from December 1st 2021 and yeah I don't think this helps we are not just here talking about what they've already done to us we must ask ourselves how would they carry out such a mass extermination operation it's already killed millions worldwide with these deadly shots that are soft killed binary weapons how how would they get away with this and the answer is a massive financial collapse a war so this is no specifics involved it's just Alex saying that he thinks the globalist should start a war or collapse the economy to distract from their

COVID bio weapon plans he's insisted he's exposed coming to light yep this is meaningless and does nothing to show that Alex made any specific prediction about Ukraine Russia or the month of February let alone all of them together yeah this next clip is from a week later on December 8th 2021 and whoa what do we got here and so you've got the IMF saying imminent global financial collapse they've never talked like that yes they're obviously trying to trigger that and oh imminent cyber attack oh and imminent war with Russia so I guess China can then swoop into Taiwan Hong Kong you already got Hong Kong the

South China Sea they're so close in the own part of Vietnam now that's how World War start we're at the same political cultural spiritual economic climate the world was in on the eve of World War one in 1914 and we're in the same geopolitical type economic cultural spiritual position we were in right before World War two except now there are more than 50,000 nuclear weapons conservatively on the planet and nuclear war is the least of our problems most of what way Nate half mile a mile up and just destroy real state and kill humans it's when the nuclear reactors here go offline and

start melting down and we've got 400 plus Chernobyl's to look forward to and the globalists won't be safe they're little bunkers from themselves so this clip once again is about China nuking us or I guess nuclear power plants melting down says nothing to do with the prediction of war between Russia and Ukraine and doesn't involve February at all he did say Russia in there though and he mentioned Chernobyl so I guess we're getting closer yeah yeah I mean I guess yeah there was one jump cut in there to clearly trying to make two parts of this episode mashed together to make it look like the thoughts appear

to be more directly connected and then there's another jump cut which takes us to the next clip that is also from this December 8th episode US senator won't rule out nuclear strike against Russia isn't that just sweet and I've got stacks of articles with them threatening and then already moving nuclear weapons up to the Russian border and the Russians are like okay you're taking over a country that's 90% Russia in the east about 30% Russian in the west and you say you're gonna take our gas pipelines and our facilities and our military bases with NATO troops we're gonna stop that and their answer is

we'll just nuke you then and so I predict the Russians are gonna roll in they're already there they're gonna roll in and there's a good chance the psychotic crazy people that love Satan and love death not enough to be killing us with the shots in the bio weapon they released they're gonna go ahead and just launch tactical nuclear weapons the Russians and then the Russians are gonna respond by destroying NATO forces and then about 15 minutes into that the ICBMs get launched the submarines pop up and the cruise missiles get fired and so hey it was a good run while we had it right we love Satan right we love

abortion well guess what you all get ready to die so this is about as close as we're probably gonna get yeah that's pretty good Alex is covering an interview with senator wicker on Fox News which had to do with some tensions between Russia and Ukraine because this conversation was already happening in December in ranting about other news and interviews on other news channels Alex said he thought that Russia was gonna quote roll in which is unspecific enough to interpret as him being correct or incorrect depending on your preference what's more important is that the rest of the stuff he's ranting about is

completely off base at this point uh-huh he also never said that it was gonna happen in February and one fair reading of this comment is that he was thinking there would be military action that's contained within the Donbass region the only way to make this seem accurate is to be really generous which Alex doesn't deserve and even if you do he's not saying February no these are disconnected and even then he is looking at NATO as the aggressor here right yeah he's like Russia is justified yeah in which rolling in which based on some of his other comments and career it shouldn't be too surprised no I'm not surprised at all

by that but in terms of I'm predicting that this war is happening right you definitely weren't predicting that Russia was going to be invading the entire country exactly unless you give a very broad reading of a roll in yeah yeah yeah so there's one last clip in this compilation and it's from January 5th 2022 there's no way the globalists get out of this without nuclear meltdowns the service the earth becoming unlivable and every every actuary that's been done even by the Pentagon so why are they following a path that will cause mass war mass starvation and nuclear meltdowns because it's a planetary ending event

not just for us but all major spaces and that's it this clip means nothing and it has no predictive quality to it at all when taken in their totality this compilation involves Alex mostly talking about his fears about China nuking the United States and it only mentions February once not even in relation to Russia this is a really a desperate attempt on Alex's part to capitalize on the tragic events that are taking place in Ukraine and use them to inflate his sense of self it's a really grotesque motivation he's displaying particularly considering how weak the evidence he's presented

is for his supposed prediction the reason that this works on people is because most people don't have the time to actually listen to Alex's show so they don't know what the context is for most of these clips spliced together the way they are they give an appearance that's dishonest he's talking a bunch about war and he says Russia once or twice he says he thinks Russia is gonna quote roll into Ukraine and earlier in a different clip he said February if you're not paying attention to how disconnected these clips are you run the risk of combining them in your head

to give Alex credit for a prediction he absolutely didn't make you were on the risk of being the rube that he made this clip to and a lot of people have fallen for it exactly in reality Alex predicts war all the time i will grant him that the vast majority of these predictions that him and his guests make the kind of obsessing about civil war or race war the geopolitical variety does happen sometimes but his bread and butter is really just incitement based on his culture war bigotry's that's kind of the sweet spot for him right in terms of predictions Alex makes on his show

historically it's been a lot of financial collapse type stuff that's certainly something he does all the time or has but that's because you know he does used to sell gold too right that's one of the big reasons and then the other is because it helps him attack the federal reserve if he insists a collapse is just around the corner so therefore you know that was that was something that he would incessantly predict that never happened in the past except for when it did happen yes and then you get to look like oh i predicted it no you say no i mean literally

once the crash of 1987 happened it's been like every 10 years you know it's just there right and predicting war is something that you're never gonna eventually long enough scale you're going to be right eventually yeah and if you give yourself credit for predicting russia invading ukraine by yelling about china nuking the united states yeah a bunch then congratulations you have you have won um a pointless game i mean that is so it's like low-key such a fucking disgusting psychopathic thing to

do of like look at all of this destruction and death that makes me feel good because i was right even though i wasn't yep i had to edit clips i had to lie to you yeah in order to present myself as right and that makes me feel good still somehow that's bananas well i get some attention which is really the only thing he matters about that's basically it also another thing that's important to point out is that alex predicts his own imminent death on a pretty frequent occasion which hasn't happened yet and of course he has constant

failed predictions about false flags that he insists are gonna happen yep so the point here is that alex didn't predict anything this video he released is a disgrace and it doesn't even show him predicting what's going on in the world today and it includes a clip that had to be edited short so it wouldn't include the part where alex says he doesn't think that russia is gonna invade ukraine he could have just not used that one he's a piece of shit and this is how he tries to make money and get attention off this war and also how he's attempting to lure

people's attention away from the fact that all through the beginning of last week alex was going on and on about how great and honest putin was and how he could find no fault with him and that he should take an ask at luhansk yep these comments look really bad now so instead of apologizing for that he starts this bullshit campaign about how he's basically no stardomus because alex is a liar and a fucking coward yep and i feel really i don't know i mean obviously i think that it's his bread and butter to do to do detestable things sure and so this is just

another in the long line of them right i think that the circumstances being what they are elevate this to a different level of shitheadery oh yeah um but the other thing is that this is something that is um it's a it's a lure much like you use in fishing you know like this is trying to get people on the hook yeah you post this compilation onto social media and you try and trick people who wouldn't otherwise i gotta check this out this guy was right maybe maybe i've been being lied to about alex all this time honestly i heard that

he was bad and i know he got kicked off social media but a lot of good people have been kicked off social media i'll give him a try right and and there's there's a lot of possibly well intentioned people who might get duped by this and i think that arguing against somebody posting this can appear to be a bit difficult because you have to engage with it enough to be like that's not what he's predicting right and then you don't know where those clips are from and it would take

a person who isn't me uh probably an absurd amount of time probably yeah and it would drive people mad but i'm already mad exactly so i can i can handle doing this but i just think it's such a dangerous uh the sort of propaganda tactic yeah that that i find reprehensible yeah the irony being your the theoretical rub that gets caught on the end of this hook will have gone there because they think that alex is right about russia starting a war and if they stay there long enough we'll eventually

support putin i i mean right well is that kind of how yes among other things i mean yes if if you end up getting sucked in by this and then being like wow you know if alex can predict this you must must actually have really great information maybe i should listen to him you you know you could end up believing all sorts of devilry oh yeah yep sucks yeah anyway uh let's get back to the present day okay back to february 25th much more comforting play oh no never mind shit

so alex uh believes of course i mean we even heard a little bit of that in one of his clips from the past but that um yeah this isn't russia's fault republican and democratic senators calling for more military aid to ukraine that's what got this going in the first place is all the weapons being shipped in to the russian border how about poking the bear it's like climbing in a grizzly bear din at the zoo and wondering why it eats you are these crazy people that climb in with bengal tigers or gorillas and wonder why they get their head ripped off that's what happened here

doesn't mean i back what putin's doing doesn't mean i like it it's terrible and whatever happens now it's on putin i mean this is historic make no mistake this is an incoherent position and if you actually think about it alex's position has to be incoherent because the alternatives just don't work no if this is actually a situation where the west is aggressing on russia's border and alex has stated a bunch of times that he you know believes that the don boss isn't a part of ukraine then why wouldn't he support russia and putin's actions

he definitely supported them hypothetically last week before they became a reality this position is no good because putin is actually doing the thing alex wanted to happen and it's fucking horrific alex makes money in the space where he yells about things that people aren't going to do like what ron paul would do if he was president or how trump should outlaw the democratic party it's a real problem when the things he supports end up happening and it doesn't happen that often but when it does it usually involves a lot of people dying

right and he doesn't want to be made to feel bad about that yeah but look at it from the other side and you realize alex can't take the opposite position either he can't see that putin is entirely in the wrong and that he had no justification for invading because that threatens the very long-standing positive coverage that inforce has had regarding putin he's been built up as the one great hope of defeating the globalist so if you take the position that he just invaded a sovereign country for no reason

you're gonna have too many questions to answer plus alex knows his business and he knows that a whole lot of his audience loves putin invading so going too hard against that is going to be bad for his bottom line yep and thus you get this middle of the road bullshit where alex gives lip service to pretending to be opposed to the invasion while simultaneously placing the blame entirely on western powers and thereby completely absolving putin of blame for the invasion out now it is all on him though somehow well he's trying alex is trying to say like

whatever happens now is exactly as if the invasion is i mean the invasion is totally reasonable you invade right but what are you doing fighting it's a bizarre position it's nonsense it's nonsense i think it's entirely the west's fault obviously russia should putin should invade and now it's all putin's fault what what what are you talking about well but you understand like i really think that if you if you take the time to really focus on so i think a number of his positions throughout his career have

had to be the same kind of completely internally inconsistent thing because you're going either way is not going to work and i think when you see that it's it's really the hallmark of somebody that you should not trust yeah they're up to something yeah yeah that's the that's an understatement yeah so we get to alex talking about his fears about cyber attack he believes there's going to be a false flag cyber attack against russia well russia is going to be the victim of it

nato is going to run the false flag against russia in order to start a war okay so here is the big escalation ladies and gentlemen here's the big escalation we've got all the talking heads saying that there's any type of cyber attack anywhere outside of ukraine in a nato member and that if so much as a stop light goes out and can be blamed on the russians to be senator warner and others actually said that

that if they can blame a stop light going out and that u.s troops have a car wreck that we have to invoke article five and go to war with russia and basically in the world as we know it so there's that issue now even if the u.s government doesn't launch a cyber attack against poland or against hungry or against the check republic or against germany any nato member you know hacker groups and you know different globalist groups are going to try

to stir this up and accelerate this they're that crazy so that conversation about like a stop light uh getting put out by a cyber attack was used in the context of like it introduces really bizarre questions that we have to ask yeah like if there is a cyber attack that russia does against ukraine it has the potential to affect the infrastructure of other countries and does that require some kind of an article five right thing and it's not saying oh if a stop light goes out we're going to fucking send ground right right right

it's it's more like uh the system is so completely and utterly interconnected and complex that the idea of what is and is not a specific attack on whom right is difficult now to even understand it can be yeah and also alex is reporting this as if it's some kind of like mind-blowing new conversation but that's stupid yeah the nato secretary general gen stoltenberg has been saying that cyber attacks on a member country could trigger article five since at least 2019 if not earlier it's never really fully

articulated but if you read his comments it seems pretty clear that the way article five would be invoked in that situation is in terms of retaliating in the cyberspace not in terms of a physical war right right so their their interpretation would be if we trigger article five for this purpose then we can meet it at that same purpose maybe that's not always consistent but that seems to be the way it's discussed about cyber issues gotcha okay stoltenberg wrote an article in prospect magazine in 2019 that

includes this passage quote as we look ahead we must continue to build a strong and diverse workforce of future cyber defenders the uk has already started doing this with cyber first a program aimed at supporting and preparing undergraduates for a career in cyber security we must be smart about recruiting training and retaining highly skilled cyber experts and make sure their skills are kept sharp through regular exercises as we do for instance through our cyber coalition exercises

cyberspace is the new battleground and making nato cyber ready well resourced well trained and well equipped is a top priority article five really just says that if a member country is attacked the other states come to their defense it doesn't require that that defense be a land invasion right anyway you can tell here that alex is laying some groundwork to be able to claim that he predicted a false flag cyber attack if russia does do something or if there is a cyber attack he can be like aha i knew what i called it right

it's not it's nonsense no not good not helpful but at least he named more than six nato states so that's that's pretty good i wasn't counting no i think it was just five holand germany check republic i think it was three so you remember in the lead up to uh the invasion there was a lot of conversation among people like people like biden the u.s state department were saying that there was information that russia had planned to

create provocation false flag pretexts for going in right what do you think what was alex's response to that um i believe alex's response to that was to say that it would not happen like false flags don't happen in this way do but russia doesn't do it right russia doesn't do that there's no history that's what i that's what i was i couldn't get there i was like he didn't say that all false flags don't happen that's crazy but he did say that somebody like and it was specifically russia russia had never done it before never that was

that was what got me and he was he was pretty pissed off based on his own expertise in the field that uh the united states would be saying that uh whoops if you think it's easy to stage a false flag and and i do think for once the state department and others are being accurate i mean car bombs going off right as the russians invade as the pretext i mean that's what militaries do when they invade if you know that the u.s military doesn't do that you're you're not living in the real world okay

that's in military classified manuals usually you don't want to kill people if you're the good guys you'll blow up a few tanks or blow up you know an embassy building or a barracks uh and and and that's your pretext so it does look like some of those things didn't even happen and see it's okay to talk about false flags this guy calls himself the world's foremost expert on false flags and he has the balls to come on his show and say whoops i guess russia did a false flag after all looks like the state department was right and i the world's foremost expert was wrong

alex wasn't just wrong he was pissed off that anyone other than him was suggesting that a false flag could happen he really got the sense that he took that personally but now i guess he's realized the state department was right but what he's failed to take stock of is that he was wrong he'll never do that because if he acknowledges that he's wrong or that there's a decent chance he could be wrong he'd lose a lot of his hypnotic power over the audience so much of alex's appeal is based on his performative confidence so if that

facade cracked he doesn't really have much to offer people other than bad impressions leaving aside the question of whether or not there were in fact false flags it's weird how alex can accept that russia did a false flag but not draw the natural conclusion that pootin is evil evil leaders do false flags according to alex at it for wars yeah you can't be an honest honorable leader and do false flags but here alex seems to take the whole thing pretty lightly you know that's what you do that's part of the game if you think the us doesn't do it then you're just out

ukraine because rush up for 20 years has left the west expand nato five times that's very clear and putin said two weeks ago and a week ago he said i'm not gonna invade just say you're not gonna invoke article five and that you're not going to bring ukraine into nato and they said nope or the state department tweeted images of large u.s transport aircraft delivering pallets of very destructive anti aircraft and anti tank weapons so the west went to start a fight it's got one now whoa

you just said it was right for putin to invade yeah that's that's what he just said yeah so the end right you think putin murdering all of these people is good he believes that the invasion of ukraine was a self-defense act essentially yeah obviously whoo yeah so this idea that nato promised russia after the fall of the soviet union that they wouldn't expand is taken as an absolute fact by alex and i think a lot of people do accept it as a fact but the reality isn't so clear it's definitely been the russian government

and putin's claim forever but there are some real serious sticking points in terms of history that make this seem incorrect this comes down to the period right after the berlin wall fell and there was a contentious discussion happening about reunification one of the big issues in the negotiation involving the u.s state department and uh baker uh and mckayl gorbachev was whether or not nato troops would be stationed in east germany the ussr and russia did not want that to happen yeah obviously so in the past putin has pointed

to a may 17th 1990 speech from the nato secretary general manfred warner as he did in a 2007 speech quote what happened to the assurances our western partners made after the disillusion of the warsaw pact where are those declarations today no one even remembers them but i will allow myself to remind the audience what was said i would like to quote the speech of nato secretary general uh mr warner in brussels on 17th of may 1990 he said at that time the fact that we are

ready not to place a nato army outside of germany german territory gives the soviet union a firm security guarantee where are these guarantees the issue however is that the speech that warner gave didn't promise not to expand member states of nato right it just promised not to station nato troops in the former east germany even gorbachev has said that they didn't agree not to expand in a 2014 interview with russia beyond quote the topic of nato expansion was not discussed at all and it wasn't brought up in those years

i say this with full responsibility not a single eastern european country raised the issue not even after the warsaw pact ceased to exist in 1991 western leaders didn't bring it up either he says expansion is against the spirit of the agreement but it wasn't discussed and no promises were made the point is that there's a gray area here where alex just sees black and white in the same way as budan multiple nato states estonia and latvia border russia and they joined in 2004 multiple former warsaw pact countries have joined the earliest entering in 1999 prior to budan coming to power

yeah bringing up nato expansion is being against the spirit of the agreement that was only about germany is something that is a fine thing to do at a negotiating table but it's absolutely not a justification for an invasion which is what alex is using it here right for right he seems really desperate to make the audience think that this is the west's fault and that putin had no choice which is pretty fucked up but that's where he's at that's uh that's how the the cow ate the cabbage man it's so it's so weird to me seeing how many people are like apologists for a war

and this isn't just about this news that's just unbelievable and we already knew this it had almost all the pieces of it but now we have the last ones that maderna created covid 19 and then they just reverse engineered it in the lab to have a cover story and they released it of course maderna was created by bill gates and others just for this event so this story that alex is talking about has to do with another pre-print article that he's blowing out a proportion in order to weave conspiracy this has to do with a team of researchers who found that a 19-letter string of dna

in the coronavirus matches a string that was patented by maderna a few years back in relation to a cancer drug that they were working on sure this was covered in the daily mail who spoke to professor laurence young a virologist at warwick university who said quote we're talking about a very very very small piece made up of 19 nucleotides so it doesn't mean very much to be frank if you were to do these type of searches you can find always find matches yeah it's a quirky observation but i wouldn't call it a smoke and gun because it's too small it doesn't get us any further with the

debate about whether covid 19 was engineered also bill gates didn't start maderna he wasn't even involved in the venture capital startup for the company back in 2010 yeah even within the study the itself they suggest ways that this could have happened naturally and their conclusion is just that it's something that should be looked into further that's fine it just doesn't you know justify alex's reporting on the story at all so i'll get back to it a little bit later but you just had to be like fuck i forgot to cover this

one out of three billion chances that just one part of covid 19 could not be made in a lab when you put all the pieces together it's basically impossible so alex is lying uh first of all this wasn't from india's most prestigious or top university the lead researcher on it is balamurali ambati who's with the university of organ in eugen there's one researcher from india who works at dr schoff's charity eye hospital second alex is just lying about what this paper is about it's not about any other part of the

genome than this strand of 19 letters so when alex says that it says something outside of that he's making that up they do calculate the odds of this string matching the string that was patented by maderna as being three billion to one but it's also important to remember that this hasn't been peer reviewed and even just in the comment section of the article like the the actual uh paper itself yeah people have brought up some potential issues with how they calculated that probability

they also didn't say that it had to have been made in a lab that's all an extrapolation on alex's part there is even inside the story a or in the the the paper itself there is a potential explanation for how it could have occurred naturally uh so so yeah so alex is just making this up there so when he said no argument uh he was very much not telling the truth no he hasn't read this he's just seen a headline right the article that alex is reading from is uh the it's from the daily mail and even this

article includes the response that they had from dr young about how this is interesting but it doesn't mean much and it also has a another quote from a microbiologist from reading university who said quote it's an interesting coincidence but this is surely entirely coincidental the real version of this story as reported in this uh in this study and the daily mail article deserves the response of a shrug and saying uh how about that uh alex's version is sensational and terrifying but he's also lying and making up details so he can make it more

scary for the listeners and make it more of a confirmation of his bullshit narrative right so i i found this to be uncompelling so even then our reaction to it is more like oh isn't that cool like when you see a double rainbow you're like whoa that's unusual well one guy when he saw a double rainbow exactly very different response very different response yeah man there's so much news uh he's there yeah for alex there's so much news to get into okay we got so much to hit but but i i'm gonna air this now the full compilation

and now china is making more and more of those type of statements but they've also said that they'd like putin to obviously meet with the ukrainian president and talk about an armistice and a demilitarization of the area but it got leaked a few days ago that the chinese talking points the media of censorship and control saying we're with russia and we're with russia's invasion but we want to act like we're neutral so that we can move against our targets is basically what they said in fact that was in your state stack will you guys

reprint me that i got i got it for you are you reprinted i'll reprint it for you oh my god so this is an interesting way to try and salvage things probably inspired at least partially by him listening to the compilation video he as he aired it and realizing there's almost entirely about him predicting that china was gonna nuke the us and knowing maybe i should explain that or try and you know make it not look so glaring context for that one yeah so alex is referring to a february 23rd article in the washington

times that doesn't say what he's claiming when he needs it be reprinted yeah this is about a propaganda outlet a set of instructions from china that were allegedly leaked first being posted on the website china digital times it's unclear from the original source where these instructions that totally came from since it's entirely possible that this was just an internal corporate memo from the social media team at the news outlet horizon news okay from the digital times article quote in this case the author may be relaying specific official instructions or taking the initiative in anticipating the

desired course of coverage right so when alex says that this comes from the government that's not in the underlying source material i mean if you're if you're a china sponsored news outlet you kind of probably have a feel for what's what's good and what's bad in your boss maybe so but alex still doesn't have justification to say that this oh no absolutely not directly from the government agreed so the story alex is covering can't even solidly confirm that this was something that came from the government but alex is claiming that the

instructions were to pretend to be against russia's invasion so they could sneakily do some invading of their own this doesn't match the messaging and the instructions and alex is really just making up a lot of this basically the instructions were to just not say anything negative about russia in the news or on social media right and and don't say anything pro-western right yeah i mean they've got a full cooperation treaty so yeah that makes sense yeah to be clear i think it's not good

if this is authentic i don't know necessarily how credible these these sourcing is on this sure if it is real which i think it could be sure it's not good no sucks that horizon news would be making rules to not post anything quote unfavorable to russia or pro-western and they're being told to monitor comments on their posts but this doesn't match what alex is reporting at all there's a larger issue to confront here and that is that alex's rhetoric is directly in line with the positions being expressed by representatives for the ccp

from the washington times article that is alex's source quote on wednesday chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman hua shin yin appeared to be following a similar propaganda script to one of the to the one disclosed by horizon news miss hua blamed the united states for the crisis to and avoided criticism of moscow quote lately the united states have been has been sending weapons to ukraine heightening tensions creating panic and even hyping up the possibility of warfare she told reporters

a key question here is what role the u.s the culprit of current tensions surrounding ukraine has played miss hua said if someone keeps pouring oil on the flame while accusing others of not doing their best to put out the fire such kind of behavior is clearly irresponsible and immoral i look forward to seeing how alex explains how his coverage of the ukraine invasion is directly in line with what's supposed to be the result of a chinese propaganda initiative that he's decrying but i also know damn well he's not going to

deal with that at all no fucking pile of shit nope nope which is which is really strange no not that strange i mean i would be but i well yeah i mean obviously if you think about it right it is strange yeah just because your if people were acting on consistent like principles yes that would be strange it would be very strange to be like putin's awesome he signed a treaty of cooperation with china and china is now just giving out all this propaganda that helps putin

why and here's what he's got well well that's right let's i mean let's talk about what's happened in ukraine clearly the military leadership was bought off before the invasion and so rag tag pilots rag tag tank groups uh rag tag militias are fighting and and dying valiantly in the face of the russians and actually holding them off in some areas and you know the border guards they didn't get the memo to you know to surrender so they got killed on snake island and it can only can only make you admire these you know hard fighting good people you know who

are upset about being invaded by their historic genetic brethren this is an interesting way for alex to try and salvage his shitty storyline about there being no ukrainian resistance but this is entirely pulled from his imagination he has no evidence or even suggestion of evidence that the ukrainian government was paid off to surrender passed him just thinking it up as a fun thing to tell the audience yeah it'd be interesting if that's what happened sure it always happens at every war crazy now that it's clear that there's a robust ukrainian resistance he needs to

find a way to delegitimize it and try to save face so he's now making up that there was a memo that went around that the military needed to give up but some border agents and scrappy pilots didn't get the memo so they're fighting back scrappy pilots oh those scrappy pilots those band of brothers we happy few this is absolutely pathetic and it's really the face of alex jones he's making shit up to help his listeners and not experience reality that he finds inconvenient even in the context of lying about people
