there is a plant warning you may want to watch for some plants oh boy to be coming back I got deep into growing plants was that about a year ago year and a half that was that was probably like right before the beginning of the pandemic I think was a little bit after I think so okay but I was deep into the green the thumb territory and it was a great hobby it really did a lot for my mental health and I just felt great love these little little green things yep yep and unfortunately there were two problems that came at me in a pincer attack one was that I did a terrible job with watering I didn't really understand

what I was doing I over watered these plants sure he ended up with a fly in festation right that ended up leading to me getting rid of all of my plans it was a very funny situation how many bugs then the second thing that was coming at me was that I had an inability to grow a lot of things based on a concern for Celine sure because a lot of things are toxic to cats and even beyond that things that aren't toxic to cats she would find a way to fuck up and eat she would eat my plants yeah and it infuriated me yeah she fucked up a lot of stuff to you yeah yeah so I have rearranged things in such a way that I have an isolated space

that I can keep Celine out of and I could be more careful with the watering right and I'm very excited to reignite this hobby right I mean I have been trying to get you to start your own hydroponic grow room for a long time because this obviously isn't gonna last that much longer you might as well deal if you're gonna do it you know like man can I get an egg you mix potato and you mix toad right and you got yourself a meal my man I think you just need toad well but you need a full stop this is not going to be a toad sanctuary I'm not growing weed all right you're gonna have to keep going to the dispensary yes

family and shit and Claude is just having a day I find no spoilers here for you Jordan but I find that the Golden Lions story in the three hopes yeah is annoying oh well that sounds about right to I'm having trouble experiencing it ah but yeah I just like the the black Eagles I think they're the characters are better burn a data burn a dead is great that I just Adelgard sucks I I like Adelgard but I don't like Hubert wow if you like Hubert we are fighting yeah that is my challenge he strikes me as a weirdo all right let's stop talking about fake characters no they're my only friends right now dad trying to reach

slowly chops that finger off and it fades to black and you're like holy shit that was a good Twilight zone this is the sequel to Liar Liar exactly yes the Twilight Zone version the horror movie version of Liar Liar yeah so a lot of people got caught up in this amplifying yeah they're great that was fun good work everybody but so here is how Alex's bizarre display wraps up he talks about cutting off his finger says he's not going to do it and then he goes to calls that's basically how this goes I'm not into soul farming but I just start typally want to take this dagger and just cut a finger off right on there to show you how much I appreciate you and what you've done because give it up a finger to beat these people's nothing

thing sort of yeah you know because it's an easy story Alex uh said some dumb shit that's pretty funny everybody's gonna laugh at him five seconds and it's easier than taking the time to you know maybe go over some of the content that is in his show that is tough yeah that that sucks yeah um and it it maintains this like there's maybe a hope that uh you can tell yourself that's like wow people see this and realize he is out there and it doesn't it doesn't it doesn't have that effect no holding on to hope that people like oh my god he is he is not a trustworthy source of information he threatened to cut his finger off yeah I just don't I think it's unproductive yeah if this were earlier in the podcast I would have a how not to cover Alex 100 about this but I've grow weary of

on the internet this is something that democrats including you know the architect of obama's last victory have talked about at great lengths in pieces monographs on television they've written books about the um so this is not like some crackpot alex you think when you talk about the central strategy of the democratic party so to be like how many uh that's so casual for Tucker to defend his own racism when he's confronted with it it's second nature for Tucker to attempt to claim the high ground by insisting that his racist theories are solid and based on real stuff unlike alex jones whose racist theories are crackpot shit the dynamic here is very simple on one level and then there's a little something underneath it that makes it a little bit messier the simple

aspect is that Tucker just wants to differentiate himself from a symbol that all right thinking people can agree is insane and that is the things that alex jones says it's a trope yes it's a scapegoat yeah the more complex thing here is that the theory that they're discussing the core of the great replacement conspiracy theory is something that alex and tucker agree on identical yes alex yells about the great replacement tucker yells about the great replacement so in order for tucker to really get away with this kind of dodge that he's attempting he needs to clearly articulate what it is about his great replacement theory that's so factually based on scholarly and what aspect of alex's great replacement theory make it turn into crackpot ravings tucker can't do that

because they have the same theory and it serves the same political purpose for both of them to attack alex's belief in the great replacement theories is to attack your own position which is why tucker does this dodge the way he does he pretends that alex doesn't preach the same shit that he does in order to use alex as a punching bag in an attempt to bolster his own credibility if tucker were to be engaging honestly and he believed what he was saying he would give this same defense of his replacement theory being based on factual ground and instead of attacking alex he would say and you know who is way ahead of everybody else on this alex jones and lauren southern with her documentaries if he truly believed this shit and he needed to bring alex's name into it he would be

paying homage to the people who are preaching this gospel long before tucker realized it was profitable he doesn't do that because to him alex isn't an ideological forefather he's a punching bag and a prop to use to maintain his shaky grasp on public respectability and if i were alex i'd probably be offended by that i'm sure he's not though because he knows that all the people he interacts with are self-interested backstabbing liars and nothing outside of the accumulation of and exercise of power really means anything to any of these fucks yeah i mean once you start licking boot there's no what are you gonna complain about the different taste of boot come on now he likes he likes boot but you kind of hope that like you you hope that alex would feel hurt by somebody

a lot of it is illegal sex trafficking and obviously him in bed with children that look like they're 10 years old as trophies we cannot show you and we will not show you the pedophilic material on air and quite frankly after i looked at some of it i just stopped looking at it last night because never in my life have i looked at things like this and as a journalist i'm a pundit an analyst but i also am a journalist and i just i i just can't look at it i will not look at it that's okay you don't have to look at stuff man that's fine he doesn't he doesn't have to it's true it's true so with this stuff i really feel like it's gotten to a point where the police should just arrest hunter biden and then alex can try and get a charge to stick in court

if he can prove his case hunter can go to prison if alex can't then alex goes to jail for defamation and malicious prosecution there needs to be some stakes to this because it's just unacceptable yeah so here's the situation as i understand it okay someone on four chain claimed that they'd hacked hunter's i cloud and released a bunch of stuff from it including pictures and videos of hunter with crack and sex workers okay the authenticity of the material isn't fully confirmed which is actually something we should be careful about because it does appear that some of it is previously unreleased stuff at least according to motherboard there's an article there that made that uh claim but in situations like this because of the really dicey origins of the stuff being

put out it can be very difficult to know what is the genuine product of a hack and what could have been slipped in along the way so i don't know what to do about this until right something's more authenticated by the respectable source other than some weirdo on four chain i'm confused about the whole hunter biden thing do do do people care do they think we care do they care i think i think that some people care there is a positive correlation between caring about hunter biden stuff and the Durham report i mean yeah yeah they're the only people that care i mean i care in as much as i think that um there's there there seems to be a problem yeah uh that that maybe there's a personal but do you know what it isn't mine no it's not my problem no and i think i think

which sometimes isn't good for plants right alex's example there about humans walking around in co2 and being fine is actually a really good argument against his own position no one is saying that we need to get rid of co2 entirely because that's stupid and obviously co2 exists as an important part of many natural processes however excess co2 has really negative consequences on these processes and there's plenty of evidence that our actions have increased the levels of co2 in ways that are dangerous so let's compare this to alex's human example sure just walking around there's co2 in the air and if you and you're fine generally that's cool because it's a low enough level that there isn't a problem however once the air becomes more concentrated with co2 it becomes

really dangerous to breathe at about five percent composition you may end up with some respiratory problems and it could become serious but the real issue is when you get over 10% at which point you'll likely have convulsions you could end up in a coma and you might die when you get higher than that you're in a situation where you'll probably lose consciousness pretty quick and if someone with a mask isn't there to help you you'll die there yeah co2 is super dangerous to people when the levels are high enough but it's a normal not dangerous part of life when the levels are in check this exact same principle applies to the larger ecosystem and if alex is so certain that co2 isn't dangerous to people he should do a live stream where he goes into a room where the co2

guy named hadrian be love is one of the primary producers hadrian be love yeah that name probably doesn't ring a bell to you but he used to be the executive director of sinna family an independent leaning theater in los angeles yeah no i i've heard of sinna family yeah he was in that role until 2017 when he resigned after an email circulated that accused him of engaging in a years long pattern of sexual harassment carried out by be love as well as other board members shortly after this sinna family shut down permanently with the board releasing a statement quote the damage caused to the organization by the conduct of some and the crippling debt now facing the sinna family are in the board's view irreparable i don't want to dwell on any details but it seems like

this is a shitty dude whose behavior hurt a bunch of people and helped destroy a movie house that had been in business for a decade i can see that guy making a documentary about alex for sure yeah yep another producer is john eisenman who isn't the same john eisenman who killed a dude like a year ago but if you google his name that other dude comes up wild this is the john eisenman who also produced amanda milius's 2020 trump propaganda film the plot against the president you can't say also because immediately after that i was like this guy also killed the guy like no no no no that can't be how it goes nope he produced the plot against the president the trump nonsense right right it also seems like somebody who would make a documentary about alex yeah a real a real

like a movie how like in the early days of studios whenever these guys would get together and make ben her that's the type of shit these guys are up to right there's no robert evans either of them on this project so the other producer is philip hancock whose other credits include the plot against the president and an upcoming documentary about john mackafee called whacked i feel like i can guess what the angle of that one's going to be yeah hancock also worked on a series called the witness project which told stories of people who had escaped from communism the point is this team sucks and whatever angle they have on the subject of alex is going to be deeply biased one of the producers is a disgraced former member of the la art movie scene and the other two are

people whose resumes are just trump propaganda and anti-communist short subjects i'll still watch it but it's absurd to pretend that this is anything other than something meant to glamorize and rehabilitate alex's public image which is why he's promoting it also i can't count the number of no-name-ass comics who went to number one on itunes when they released an album none of these metrics really mean that much on their own and often they're pretty useful as a tool to make something look more popular than it actually is and i would guess that that dynamic is somewhat at play here listen i'm not saying it's not important but i have introed uh far too many of my friends with their album went to number one on itunes for for me to believe that it is a high honor right

is that alex probably knew that the january 6th committee was having their hearing on tuesday and the topic of it had been announced as the connections between the trump administration and extremist groups that alex is deeply entwined with i don't think this is the case but i don't think it's impossible that alex would try to do some kind of a media stunt to attempt to control the narratives about him so people would be talking about him threatening to cut off his finger instead of his clear association with a bunch of really suspicious groups who are charged with seditious conspiracy yeah and the second thing is much less speculative and more important alex is trolling the media to get attention that is true but this cuts both directions when alex was
