My name is Dan Friesen, and for the last 10 years, I've hosted a podcast about Alex Jones and Info Wars called Knowledge Fight.
The show started as an exercise of sincere curiosity, where I wanted to know what Alex Jones was talking about and give his ideas a fair shake.
But over time, that became difficult.
I'm going to talk to Pastor Brown, a few of the pastors I trust about this first.
Before I do it.
Catholics can pray the rosary and things like that. That's good.
You know, focus on God.
but I personally am strongly considering praying for the angel of death.
So that's where we're at, all right?
When I watched thousands of hours of Alex's show,
what I saw was a raving lunatic,
who had basically zero meaningful political positions,
and people were mistakenly categorizing in that field.
Over my time doing that show,
I discovered that one of the most powerful tricks
that con men have at their disposal is playing games with con.
If you do a three-hour show and say something horribly inflammatory an hour into it, you get to dodge any questions about the horrible things you said, as Alex Jones did repeatedly under oath.
Yeah, so Sandy Hook is a synthetic, completely fake with actors, in my view, manufactured.
I couldn't believe it at first. I knew they had actors there clearly, but I thought they killed some real kids.
and it just shows how bold they are.
You're not questioning anything here.
You're saying they clearly used actors, right?
I have to see the full context of that video.
I've tried to find the full context, baby.
You have it.
Do you have the full context of that video?
Yeah, you gave it to me.
I can't answer this.
It's not in context.
I don't know what you're showing me.
It's under edited tape.
I don't know the context.
Sure.
Not that that is an out-of-context clip.
I can't even respond to something like that.
Let me get this straight.
These videos we just watched today,
you're proud of those videos.
I'm proud of the compendium of my work,
not small clips taken out of context.
And I'm a good person.
A very dumb premise of this podcast
is built on pretending that Alex is being serious,
that you really do need to see his whole show
to get the context for the horrible things he said.
Is that context exonerating?
Or does it make things even worse?
Knowledge Fight was an exercise of jumping over barrels,
making our way up a single scaffolding
where Alex Jones sat at the top
as a big angry ape.
He'd kidnapped context
and was holding her hostage
and hammers were somehow involved.
Knowledge Fight Country now opens up
to the larger world.
There are new biomes and challenges to take on
and so many different mini-bosses.
Like Necky.
You remember Necky?
That big weird vulture?
Yeah, he'll be in here somewhere.
Join me in a rotating crew of guests
as we venture out to seek to find all the bananas,
which in this case are context.
Look, I admit this metaphor is a little bit strained,
but it's hard to fit the context into a short trailer.
I guess you'll just have to listen to the whole thing.
