We appreciate your interest in today's meditation life skills podcast.
We sincerely grateful for your support.
Begin by sitting in a comfortable position, spine straight, and palms in your lap, facing downwards.
When you feel ready, gently close your eyes.
Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose.
Feeling your lungs expand fully and hold your breath at the top.
When you're ready,
release the breath powerfully through your mouth
and at the bottom of that exhale
repeat this again
inhaling through your nose
filling up your lungs
holding your breath at the top
and when you're ready
forcefully letting the air
come out through your mouth
and one last time at the end of that breath
inhale through your nose
hold your breath at the top
top, and when you're ready, let it go.
At the end of this breath returned to breathing at a pace that is comfortable for you,
in through your nose and out through your mouth, throughout this entire meditation.
The space between thoughts, the space between breaths, is a space where all wisdom and
self-acceptance exists.
It is time to feel that for yourself.
Let yourself be taken to a crystal clear beach, feeling your feet on the sand, feeling the air rushing against your skin, so gently, feeling the sun on your face, and breathing in the sense of the ocean, the salty air, the salty air, the freshness.
and notice a bench up ahead facing the ocean.
You are all alone out here.
It is peaceful and calm.
It is just you, the water,
and occasional birds flying by,
and so you walk over to the bench,
letting yourself rest,
sitting down and looking out at the vast blue ocean,
extending all the way out from left to right and all the way to the horizon.
Take a deep breath here, then release.
In this moment, just let yourself be open and willing to love and accept yourself as you are.
There is nothing to change.
There is no other way you need to be.
breathe in deeply to this truth
feel this truth
in the space between your thoughts
in the space between your breath
and on your next inhale
breathe in very deeply
feeling your stomach expand fully
holding your breath at the top
and when you're ready
exhale with a long
audible sigh
be proud of yourself for doing this work
and when you're ready
gently bring your awareness to the room around you opening your eyes as it feels good to you
