Well, hey Lake Point family, Carlos here.
I wanted to jump in and give you a quick update on the future of this podcast.
I wanted to start by saying thank you to all the listeners of the Daily Drive with Lake Point Church these last two years.
Man, we've heard story after story about what God has done through it.
And we're so encouraged by all of these stories.
You might have noticed that for the last several weeks, we've been test driving weekly podcast episodes with Pastor Josh
on our Lake Point Messages podcast channel and our Lake Point YouTube channel.
where we do a deeper dive into the Word of God based on the weekend sermon.
And for the last several weeks, we've also been incredibly encouraged to see how strong your
response has been to that.
So here's what we're doing.
Because we're passionate about discipleship and groups, we're revamping the daily drive
with Lake Point Church podcast and transforming it into the live free podcast with Pastor Josh
Howardton.
And so going forward, this is going to be a week.
weekly podcast where we'll have deep dive long form one hour plus conversations with
Pastor Josh, Pastor Mike, myself, and other guests as we meditate on the Word of God to
equip you to live free in Christ. And so let me explain this a little bit more. As you know,
Lake Point Church is a movement for all people to know Jesus, live free and make a difference with
their lives. And so our prayer is that these weekly episodes encourage you, empower you,
enrich your personal discipleship, but also model for you what it looks like to be in a discipleship
group where you gather with other believers to meditate on the Word of God and put it in practicing
your life. Now, for those of you that are looking for daily short form episodes to start your day
with the Word of God, the good news is we're keeping all of our previous daily drive episodes.
And by the way, that's two years worth of daily episodes for you to meditate on the Word of God
for five to seven minutes every day.
So in addition to the new content that we will be creating in this podcast in this new season,
we would encourage you to go back and start over and continue to tune in day by day to all
of our daily episodes that we already have in our archive that will continue to be available
in this very same channel.
Our goal is to serve you, encourage you, and point you back to the Word of God because
when the Word and not the World becomes the majority of the United.
