I thank God I was born on the good arms of the Midwest, and not on the battlefields of
the U.S.
It's a time of panic, and it's intercepted!
It's picked off right away!
Intercepted by Marty Hooker!
Pick six!
Eight seconds into the game!
Buffen sets up deep in the pocket, goes down the field for Smith!
Oh!
He's got it!
Smith!
Touchdown.
85 yards.
High on.
Touchdown, 10.
Taking a shot in the end zone.
It is caught.
No offense.
Touchdown.
That's either one or you have it.
Go ahead and three.
Yes.
Two-point lead for the Hawkeyes podcast,
your daily podcast covering your Iowa Hawkeyes on the Locked On Sports Network.
As always, I am your host, Andrew Wade, excited to be back for another episode of the show.
And if you do like what you hear today, make sure to like, review, and subscribe wherever
you download this podcast at.
And make sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
That's how you can get the latest news before we break it up on the show.
Just like some of the announcements that just happened recently with the recruits.
Obviously, make sure you follow the guys at 24-7 Sports.
They do a fantastic job of covering recruiting.
We're also going to be breaking down some of these recruits, though, on the show every single time a commit is announced.
That way, we can talk about how it impacts Iowa short-term and long-term.
So, we'll be doing that here.
But also, make sure you go follow those guys at 24-7 Sports.
They do a fantastic job there.
Also, if you haven't had an opportunity to, make sure you check out our TBT Tuesdays.
Every single Tuesday, we have a fantastic interview with one of the players from the
Iowa United.
This past Tuesday, we had former NBA player and former Iowa State Cyclone Deontay Garrett
on the show talking a bit about his professional career and what he's excited for coming into
the Iowa United TBT tournament time.
and what he's excited for coming into the Iowa United TBT tournament time.
If you are not a Cyclone fan, as I'm sure a lot of you regular Hawkeye listeners are not,
I do highly recommend you check out those interviews, though.
They are a lot of fun.
You're just kind of inside the mind of a former NBA player,
inside the mind of a Cyclone who used to hate the Hawkeyes.
It actually is pretty interesting hearing from those guys.
I personally love those episodes the most, so I really hope you are checking those out.
They are really great, even if you are not a Cyclone fan or if you hate the Cyclones with all of your heart, I get it.
But the interviews are really great and a lot of fun.
And when they come together on the Iowa United, if you didn't get a chance to watch that game
last year, it was a ton of fun to see some local guys all on the same team playing together as opposed to playing against
each other. Also in some other news, Spencer Lee won or at least won a co-chair of the AAU Sullivan
Award awarded to the top amateur athlete in the country. Fantastic job by him. Obviously not the
ending to the season or not the season's ending
he wanted, but nothing he can really do about it at this point. All right. And just also a quick
housekeeping note, I'm trying to still figure out the right cadence for the show. We'll always be
delivering you a Monday episode and a TBT Tuesday episode. And I'm thinking we're going to move to a
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday format taking Wednesdays off.
But obviously I'll keep you posted on that as it comes up.
And if there's anything big and breaking, I'll try to break that down as well.
But just trying to be smart about what episodes we're doing, when we're doing it, and making sure we're giving you the best content.
And I feel like Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday will probably be the best way to handle that.
So more to come on that, but just wanted to give that update.
So let's jump into it though. On today's show, we're going to be talking about recruiting. Iowa
got two big time recruits to commit to the school this week, and then we're going to break down the
draft preview for the 2021 prospects. I know we're only, we're less than a week out from the 2020
draft, and I'm already talking about the 2021 NFL draft. If you've listened to the show before,
you know that the NFL draft is one of my favorite things in all sports.
So it makes sense that I would be doing that.
So we'll be talking about a few prospects on the show today.
So recruiting-wise, Iowa is just really heating up right now.
I think we talked about this on last week's show, but if Iowa can turn it on right now,
if this can be, you know,
they're getting some momentum and it's April, we're in the middle of a quarantine, not really able to do a whole lot of, you know, recruiting, not able to do face-to-face visits. And yet Iowa
is reeling in quite a class. And I do think the NFL draft has a little bit to do with it.
Iowa has consistently produced big time players. They coach guys up to get into the NFL draft. You're
seeing it year in and year out. I think recruits are starting to see that as well, and they're
starting to really appreciate the approach that Iowa has taken to recruiting. I mean, we've seen
over the last couple years, Iowa has just absolutely turned it on from a recruiting standpoint, not only
inside the state where they have dominated Iowa State, but outside of the state as well. We're
going to get to that right now.
This week, we have two recruits that have committed to the University of Iowa for the
class of 2021, Arlen Bruce IV and David Davikoff, both fantastic athletes.
Let's start with Arlen Bruce, though, son of a former pro athlete, 5'10", 185-pound
athlete out of Olaf, Kansas, a three-star recruit ranked the 692nd player in the class.
He had four offers, one from Iowa State, one from Tulsa, one from Western Illinois, and one from Iowa.
His recruiting, though, is really starting to pick up.
And this might be one of those under-the-radar recruits, a guy who is just a superior athlete.
Just listen to these statistics.
I don't know how you couldn't get excited about this guy.
371 carries for 2,487 yards.
43 touchdowns.
6.7 yards per carry.
191 yards per game.
13 games with over 100 yards rushing.
That is absolutely insane.
From my understanding, it sounds like the school he's currently at, too,
he's kind of the main focal point of the offense.
He did that all in one season, and all while everyone was keying on him.
Not a ton of size at this point.
It'll be interesting to see where Iowa projects him at the next level,
whether that is running back, whether that is potentially a slot receiver
like we saw happen with Tyrone Tracy.
I guess he doesn't play the defensive side of the ball, it sounds like.
At least that's not what I read.
But I think maybe we could even see him as a defensive back.
But either way, you're getting a superior athlete with Arlen Bruce IV.
And then David Davikoff, not to take away anything from Arlen Bruce,
but David Davikoff, fantastic player.
One of the top-rated recruits Iowa has gotten in quite a bit.
Right now, I think the top-rated recruit in the class, currently ranked 134th by his composite ranking at 24-7 sports.
He is a four-star recruit.
So, again, Iowa has done a fantastic job recently of getting these big-time
recruits. And when I say four-star recruit, Iowa now has four four-star recruits of their 13
players. That is huge. I know we talk a lot about Iowa just does a good job of developing, but
what if they do a good job of developing and getting high-level recruits that are going to be hard workers?
That's huge for this team.
And I did confirm that David Davikoff is the highest-ranked commit for the Iowa Hawkeyes
right now.
Like I said, four four-star recruits total in this class with already 13 commits.
That is ranked 7th in the nation, 3rd in the Big Ten.
And the one thing to keep in mind is this offensive line is getting nasty.
David Davikoff, a 4-star recruit, 134th in the composite.
Connor Colby, an Iowa kid, 226th in the composite, 4-star recruit.
Let me go down.
Jennings Dunker, I believe the first commit of the class, a 424th ranked recruit. Let me go down. Jennings Dunker, I believe one of the first commit at the class,
a 420th, 424th ranked commit or recruit. And then we have, let me see,
Bo Stevens, a recent commit as well, 403rd ranked recruit in the nation. That's four recruits in the
top 430 that are offensive linemen that Iowa has for the class
of 2021 that is fantastic the big thing about David Davidoff six foot six 295 pounds has a body
that's ready to potentially play right away if he can get into the the weight room with you know
with Chris Doyle and put on some weight I think he could be a guy we could see play early on in his
career maybe slide inside and play that guard position that we've seen a lot of Iowa tackles play early in their career just to get some experience
along the offensive line.
Obviously, a lot of things can change.
Aleric Jackson is going to be gone at that point.
Iowa is going to be potentially looking to break in one, maybe even two tackles, depending
on how all things break out.
I know Coy Cronk is in there right now at the other tackle spot. So there is going to be a chance that Iowa could see him as a tackle right away
and being one of those Tristan Wirfs type of guys to start a tackle
in their first season.
I know with Tristan Wirfs there's a little bit more of injuries caused that,
but we could see this with David Davikoff just due to the size.
This kid, though, had 18 offers, including offers from Michigan
and Ohio
State and an Illinois product. When I looked at his tape, though, just a nasty run blocker,
great size, vicious, vicious guy. You look at what he does from a blocking standpoint,
it kind of reminds me of George Kittle in terms of the, and obviously different right tight end
versus offensive tackle, but what I mean by that is the aggression and the joy of throwing someone in the dirt
and making them stay there.
There was a couple of blocks I saw where he just pancaked the hell out of the guy
and then just stood over top of him yelling and was just pumped and fired up
as he ran to continue blocking for other guys.
So just absolutely love that.
Love to see that aggression on film.
Definitely need some work in the pass blocking sets and obviously going to have to get used to going up
against more collegiate sized athletes. But nevertheless, there's a reason why this kid is
ranked high and I'm really excited about his potential with the Iowa Hawkeyes and the potential
of this entire class of 2021 offensive line that is really coming along strong as the Hawks do a great job of recruiting during this pandemic.
Coming up on segment number two and segment number three,
we're going to jump into that class of 2021 NFL draft class,
talking a little bit about the prospects for the Iowa Hawkeyes
and what they could offer to the NFL next season.
what they could offer to the NFL next season.
We are back for segment number two and segment number three of the Lockdown Hawkeyes podcast,
your source for all things Iowa Hawkeyes, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday,
with Tuesdays being those special TBT Tuesdays.
And as I said before, we took a quick break.
I want to break down some of the draft prospects for the class of 2021. Obviously a few of these guys are not necessarily going to be seniors, but thought it'd be important to at least talk about them on the show today. Going through
about 10 guys, I haven't necessarily put down my specific projections on the sheets. So we're
going to be going kind of off the cuff of what I think at this point and kind of what their ceiling could be and what their floor could be. At this point though, I think
it's kind of interesting to see that Iowa doesn't have any surefire first round picks. Last year,
a lot of the hype was all over Tristan Wirfs and AJ Epineza. Definitely thought both those guys
could be top 10 first round picks and they were getting a lot of love very early on in the draft process.
I remember actually last April coming back from my parents' place in Arizona
and actually seeing the draft hype for both of these guys
and seeing them going in the – it was actually right after the NFL draft.
Yeah, it was right after the NFL draft.
And both these guys were projected in a mock draft for 2021. Obviously, Tristan Wirfs managed
to stay there. AJ Paneza dropped quite a bit just due to some of the concerns of straight line speed,
which neither here nor there, a little bit ridiculous given the fact that he doesn't need
to run in a straight line for 40 yards. But so I think it's kind of interesting to see. I mean,
obviously there's not that hype coming into the draft season this year for Iowa players. You're not
going to see them in a lot of early mock drafts the first round, which really are just kind of
showing you who are some of the top prospects that people are looking at right now. But I do think
there's an opportunity for a few guys to make their way up there. And let's start with the
number one guy who I think has an opportunity to make his way
into that first round conversation with a great season.
That is a Larrick Jackson, a guy who did have a little bit of first round hype coming into
last year.
Definitely struggled, though, hurt his knee, came back, wasn't the same player throughout
the season.
I thought he came on strong towards the end.
But when you have a guy like Tristan Wirfs on one side and you're playing the left tackle position and not doing it
as well as Tristan Wirfs, that does show up on film. Larrick Jackson, though, not a versatile
guy, but a guy who is very strong, great size, multi-year starter at Iowa, which definitely
means something if you know anything about Iowa football. I'm assuming you do because you're here listening to the show.
But 6'6", 320 pounds.
This past season was a third-team All-Big Ten selection despite having kind of a struggling
year.
Last year was second-team All-Big Ten.
And then his 2017 season as a redshirt freshman was a first-team All-American.
So this guy has played a ton of
games at the left tackle position. I think with a good season here, he could easily bump his way
into that first round conversation simply because the tackle position is a desperately coveted
position in the NFL. And there's not often great tackle classes. This tackle class is one of the
best we've seen in quite some time.
That's not always the case. I think Larrick Jackson, with a good season, could remind people that he can be a first-round talent. And then the testing, obviously, if he can test, not obviously
in the realm of Tristan Wirbs, who is a superior athletic freak, but just average testing, I think
he could easily be a first-round pick. So that is the top guy I'm looking at.
Another guy that I think could put his way into that day one, day two conversation,
if he wanted to, is Tyler Linderbaum.
He's been getting quite a bit of hype.
When people watch tape of Tristan Wirfs, they happen to notice Tyler Linderbaum,
a guy who has a very, very high ceiling and right now a low floor.
Just a ton of potential there.
But he's only played offensive line for one season.
He came into Iowa as a defensive tackle, moved across the line to play center,
and I thought he put together some nice tape for his first time playing
that center position at the collegiate level.
I think for him, if he continues to show that nasty aggression he showed last year,
he could be a guy who could work his way into that conversation
of a first, second, third round pick. I do think he ultimately comes back just because he will only
be a redshirt sophomore. Come back for another season. I do expect him to leave after his
redshirt junior season, though, if the trajectory of his career continues the way we think it's
going to continue. But again, Tyler Linderbaum, a guy who could be the next great Iowa center to go into
the draft. We saw that happen with, obviously with James Daniels winning the NFL draft. He did go to
guard for the Chicago Bears, but Tyler Linderbaum, a guy who we should be on the lookout for,
a guy who's already getting a little bit of notice from the NFL. It'll be interesting to see if how
this year plays out. If Iowa's offensive line begins a little better than they did this past year,
and especially on the interior, not necessarily Linderbaum's fault,
but if they can have a good offensive line this year
and have some good protection on the interior,
I think Linderbaum could get a lot of the credit for that
and have an opportunity to be a day one or day two draft pick.
This past season was honorable mention all
Big Ten. So high, high ceiling for the freshman or the true, sorry, redshirt sophomore out of
Solon, Iowa. The next guy on this list, Chauncey Golston. I think for him last year, I projected
him as a potential sleeper pick for an All-American guy or an All-Big Ten guy.
And the reason why is going opposite of AJ Epineza, I really felt like Chauncey Golsan was going to get a lot of really favorable looks.
And he definitely did.
But they also keyed on him a little bit too.
And he didn't put up the statistics that I necessarily expected.
But this guy, I think, is probably going to be an early day three pick unless he just really does something absurd this year.
But his stats really kind of dipped a little bit this season despite getting more playing time.
He did increase his tackles from 35 to 47, but his sacks went from 3.5 to 3.
Did have one interception, five passes defended, so doing a great job of getting up when he needs to on that defensive line.
This is the year, though.
He's the main guy on this line, and I'm really interested to see how he handles that responsibility.
He's no longer going to have AJ Epineza on the other side.
Can he do something about that?
Can he become the guy that Iowa needs at the defensive line position?
Can he continue his growth and become the star that we need? That will really affect his trajectory at the NFL draft level. Personally,
right now, I see him at a fourth round, fifth round guy. I think with a great season, he could maybe bump up into that third round conversation. He is a redshirt senior, so a little bit older,
but 6'5", 270 pounds, a very traditional 4'3 defensive end at this point.
Depending on his testing, though, teams could see a little bit more versatility in him than
they did AJ Paneza, but that all kind of depends on the testing.
Moving back to the line, let's actually finish up talking about that.
I kind of jumped around a bit, but we do have Coy Cronk and Cole Banwert.
Banwert, to me, projects as an undrafted free agent at this point,
similar to the other interior offensive linemen we've seen in the past couple years,
Ross Reynolds, Keegan Render.
To me, that's kind of where Banwert's ceiling is.
I don't see him getting drafted.
I do see him making a practice squad as an undrafted free agent,
depending on the scheme.
Could be a guy who could be a spot starter or at least a backup player.
But not a big guy.
Has had some injury issues,
so he definitely needs to rebound this season
and put together a healthy and good season
to even be considered for that spot.
Otherwise, we could have a Paulson twin thing
where he kind of just fades in the background
and retires from football after this collegiate season.
I do want to touch on Quay Cronk.
I also want to touch on the two receivers, also Matt Hankins, Nick Neiman, Sean Byer,
and Keith Duncan and Mekhi Sargent.
So we're going to be touching on those, though, after we come back from a quick break
and finish up with segment number three of the Locked on Hawkeyes podcast.
We are back for segment number three uh continuing our discussion our quick draft prospect preview for 2021 and we're going to start with coy cronk the grad transfer from indiana
a guy who coming into last season had some third round hype third fourth round hype from nfl talent
evaluators this is the guy i have on my radar is going to the Senior Bowl along with Alaric Jackson. I think Keith Duncan could also be a guy that we could see at the Senior Bowl
and maybe even see Amir Smith-Marset and Brandon Smith. The other guys kind of depends on their
production. Chauncey Golsan could be a guy as well. A lot of potential just needs, you know,
all these guys need to put together some good seasons to be able to get on that radar. But I
have no doubt that Jim Nagy and the Senior Bowl are definitely watching that, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to make it
back down there to do some more interviews with Iowa Hawkeyes this upcoming Senior Bowl
year.
Quay Cronk, though, grad transfer from Indiana, a huge get for the Hawks as they lose Tristan
Wirfs.
He's expected to step in and play that tackle position right away for the Hawks, and if
he can show that he's behind the injury and he still has the same
athleticism and abilities, there's no reason to think that he couldn't be a second or third round
pick this year. Like I said, big, big time injury that he had at Indiana, gruesome injury. If he can
recover and shows that he still is that good tackle that NFL talent evaluators were really
excited about, I think he could be a second or third round pick for the Hawks.
Moving on on that offense, Makai Sargent, I think underactive free agent, he's definitely
going to get a shot.
I think it'll be interesting to see how much they lean on him this season with Tyler Goodson
continuing to emerge as possibly going to be one of the best playmakers the Hawks have
seen at that running back position.
Makai Sargent, though, still has a role in that offense, a guy who isn't going to fumble,
who's going to make the right play. You kind of know what you're going to get with Makai Sargent
each time. I do think that kind of guy does make it into an NFL camp. I think testing is going to
be very, very important. And by testing, I mean at his pro day, not going to get a combine invite
for Makai Sargent. But nevertheless, you have to love his story coming from Iowa Western to play at Iowa,
coming on as a third running back, making his way to the starting running back and still
sticking with it, despite Tyler Goodson coming in and kind of supplanting him as that starter.
Sean Beyer, a guy who had a ton of potential that just never really lived up to it, has
been supplanted at that tight end position as well.
Now the number two tight end.
But we've seen Iowa tight ends get drafted and get signed no matter what.
We just saw it with Nate Weeding, who signed with the Cleveland Browns.
I think Sean Byer is definitely going to get a training camp shot,
especially if he tests well.
I mean, he came into Iowa as a potential wide receiver.
So I would assume the athleticism is still there,
unless the injuries have kind of taken that away from him.
Would be great to see him get 20, 25 catches this year and do more two tight end looks for Iowa and get both of them involved.
But I do think regardless, he will be an undrafted free agent, a guy who does sign with a team.
Keith Duncan on that offensive side.
The big thing here, he needs to improve his leg strength.
The accuracy is clearly there, but not a lot of trust in him from beyond that 50-yard mark.
Didn't attempt, I don't, actually I need to check real quick, I don't know if he attempted any
kicks from beyond 50 yards, but that was probably the one knock on him was he wasn't kicking
long kicks, but the dude can freaking kick, and he's accurate
and has balls of steel when it comes to big-time moments.
We saw that with Iowa this year, just a fantastic player
who doesn't have to worry about the moment.
He's fine at any moment.
The Nebraska game, you just knew he was going to make those field goals.
Let me check to see.
Not getting any information right now, but I'll those field goals let me check to see not getting
any information right now but i'll keep looking that up real quick to see if i can figure out
what his his long was but he definitely needs to improve the lay strength and as we've seen
with kickers oftentimes they're not drafted if he puts together a season like he just did
and he continues the the accurate ways and also adds a little bit of strength. I could see him being a late-round selection.
I do kind of expect him to be going to the Senior Bowl,
but we'll see how that all plays out this year.
Hopefully he doesn't need to kick as many field goals as he did last year for the Hawks,
but he still is as accurate as he was.
The 5'10", 180-pound kid out of Weddington, North Carolina.
It looks like his career long or
season long was 49 yards. In 2016, his long was 41. He's never attempted a field goal over 50
or over 49, I should say. And right now, from 40 to 49, he is 15 of 19. So great accuracy,
even from a longer distance, but would love to see him kick a few from 50 and do well there.
All right, Amir Smith-Marset, a guy who is definitely getting selected simply because
of his versatility and the speed.
I'm excited to see what he runs at the Combine.
I do expect him to be invited to the NFL Combine.
At this point, I would put him as a late round, kind of a day three guy, just because
simply because wide receivers coming out of Iowa don't typically get looked at as a late round, kind of a day three guy, just because not, I wouldn't say that,
just simply because wide receivers coming out of Iowa don't typically get looked at
as those top level wide receivers.
I do think Amir Smith-Marsat and Brandon Smith are two of the better wide receivers to
ever walk through Iowa.
But we haven't seen, I mean, look at, you know, look at Marvin McNutt,
sixth round pick.
Look at Kevin Casper, sixth round pick. Khalil Hill, I think he
might have been a third or fourth round pick, which is pretty high. But a lot of the other guys don't
even get drafted. So I expect Amir Smith-Marset at this point, unless he puts on a ridiculous season,
to be probably a fifth, sixth, or seventh. A guy who can come in and be a kick returner and punt
returner. And that's what people are going to see a lot of value in him as. And then maybe that fourth or fifth receiver, that burner that you can get on the outside.
This will really come down, though, I think to his 40-yard dash time. If he puts on a show and
runs a sub 4-4, that'll definitely help his draft stock lower. If it didn't go higher than that,
we might have an Akron Wadley situation where the play speed looks like it's there, but
when you actually test him, it just isn't, and that could, you know, hurt him.
So it's really going to come down to his speed there. Brandon Smith, not a speed guy, definitely
a jump ball guy. I expect him to be a late round draft pick as well. A guy who can go up and grab
the ball if needed. Definitely, you know, a superior athlete compared to what we probably
thought he would be,
and his testing is going to be really important as well.
Again, a bigger guy, a guy who can go up and get the ball,
but if he can run well, that could catapult him into that late Day 2,
early Day 3 conversation if he puts together a nice season this year
and stays healthy and continues the development of his route tree as well,
becomes that number one guy for the Hawks.
Moving over to the defensive side, definitely a little bit of a younger defense that Iowa
has this year, but a few guys that need to keep in mind, Matt Hankins.
We saw this with Michael Ojemudia prior to the season.
I didn't think he was going to be drafted.
Then he got drafted in the third round after running well.
Matt Hankins, I think, has a little bit higher of a ceiling
and a little bit lower of a floor than Michael Ogimudia.
Been inconsistent throughout his career,
but if he can put together a nice season and test well,
maybe get an invite to the Senior Bowl,
I think Ogimudia was likely a late invite,
not the first choice, but got there and performed really well
in their man coverage drills.
I think if Matt Hankins can do something similar, we could see a rise for him.
But right now I project him to be a late draft pick for the Hawks, if not undrafted free agent.
But again, never count out anything from Phillip Parker's defensive backs.
They always seem to shine.
And then finally, let's wrap up with Nick Neiman.
A guy who has been a consistently average player for Iowa.
Lost his starting job early last season, but got it back to an extent due to some injuries
and whatnot.
But I think Nick Neiman is a guy who actually I think he covers pretty well.
It'll be interesting to see where he projects as a linebacker.
I think right now he kind of looks like a traditional 4-3 outside linebacker.
Needs to obviously improve the athleticism.
Needs to show a little bit more on the coverage tape.
Like I said, I thought he did pretty well on coverage,
but Iowa plays primarily zone coverage, which is pretty standard for linebackers.
We'll be interested to see, though, how he improves in his final year at Iowa.
His brother does have the NFL pedigree.
His dad is a coach for Iowa.
I do expect Nick Neiman, regardless of how well the season goes,
as long as it goes decent,
I expect him to at least get a camp invite to play some NFL football,
at least in the preseason.
It'll be interesting to see, though,
how this defense handles the loss of a few really
big-time playmakers like Geno Stone, AJ Epineza, both defensive tackles, and Michael Ojemudia.
I think Nick Neiman could be a big part of that. If he can show up and show out,
this defense could look good, and we could see Nick Neiman slide into that back end of the draft,
maybe the 6th, 7th round, if he does well and continues the development of him.
Again, didn't start the beginning of the season, saw action all 13 games,
did get 8 starts.
Right now he currently has just 13 starts in his career
and four seasons at Iowa, one being a redshirt year.
But again, I think he's a pretty sure-handled tackler.
Last season had 32 tackles um 2.5 tackles
for a loss in a sack had an interception that he returned for a touchdown i mean i do think
there's potential there i just need to see more of it and need to see him do it more consistently
but that'll do it for our quick draft prospect preview for 2021 i'll definitely look to get
some of the guys i've had on the show before. Obviously, I'm thinking of, you know, Sarah Bettinger, Nick Kendall.
Looking to get those guys on the show.
Eventually talk a bit about these guys as well.
But that'll do it for our show today.
Hope you all appreciate it and love the content for today.
Still kind of figuring out if we're going to put together a show for tomorrow.
Looking at maybe lining up a great Iowa Hawkeye interview.
If I can get it done today, I'll try to get it out for you tomorrow morning.
But TBD on the show tomorrow.
I'm not sure if we're going to get one out, but definitely see you on Monday.
If you liked what you heard today, make sure to like, review, and subscribe.

And if you like what we're doing with the Iowa United team, make sure to follow them
on Twitter at Iowa TBT.
They have a lot of great giveaways going on right now,
including a practice jersey for the Iowa United.
All you need to do is go like Newton apparel on Facebook and you can be
entered to win that practice jersey.
So make sure to do that as well.
And if you love some draft talk and you want to listen to some NBA draft
talk,
make sure to check out Chad Forbes,
NBA big board on the lockdown podcast network, talking all about the prospects and
the upcoming NBA draft. Uh, Chad Ford is a long time draft analyst, a great guy to have on the
network. And definitely if you want some NBA draft coverage, make sure to go check him out as well.
Thank you all though, for tuning in for today's episode of the lockdown Hawkeyes podcast,
have a fantastic day out there. Hawkeye Nation, and stay safe, and let's go Hawks.
