Pardon my French, but that AP poll was bad.
This is the Big 12 Squad.
Did you guys really think I was going to miss out on the opportunity to dress up and act?
Just kidding again.
You're talking ball with the Big 12 Squad, sponsored by Game Time.
From Oklahoma State to Utah, from Kansas State to BYU.
From Houston to Texas Tech, it's the local experts of the Lockdown Podcast Network,
bringing you scoops, breakdowns, and the most comprehensive preview of the upcoming Big
12 weekend. Buckle up. It's the Big 12 squad and we have a seat for you. Know her feelings and
thin skin allowed. Squad up. You're part of the Big 12 squad. Oh, happy Thursday, everybody. Welcome
to the Big 12 and we are brought to you by game time today. I'm Drake Toll, the host of Lockdown
Big 12 alongside Jake Hatch of Lockdown, BYU Cougars, JT. Westersoe of Locked on Uts, Nick Marevettes,
talks all things Iowa State. Kevin Borba of the buffs. Cody Stoball with Oklahoma State,
Parker-Rainsworth of Locked on Coogs with Houston and Mountaineer Paul, who will drop us a dude.
in segment two, I'm very competent.
Unless we forget, yes, they still have a football team.
Derek Johnson, locked on Jayhawks.
They built the stadium, too.
But will they come?
But will they come?
Hey, oh, nice, pause.
AP poll is out.
And some of you that, four teams, four or five is a fine rate.
That's decent, whatever.
That was kind of expected.
It's wild to me.
First three out are big 12 schools.
and it's Utah in there alongside Baylor and then
BYU, Jake Hatch, J.T. Westerill, excited about the AP poll?
Absolutely, let's go.
Oh, it's because they got it right this weekend.
Didn't you have you guys on there?
Is that why you're excited?
Do you guys rank at Lashner?
BYU is still in front of Utah, so life's good over here.
There you go.
Anybody else surprised at 5 and 7 Utah is in the top 27 in the country?
Yeah. Well, it's in my professional opinion, actually, that I would point out.
Lawyer over here.
Well, I'm just a consummate professional, Drake, and I dress the part all the time.
Doesn't it just look like he has no pants on, though?
Well, there goes the second half of the joke.
So, thank you.
You know, the bottom half of the joke.
But I do think it.
if I'm going to take the mic for a second.
This does indicate that they don't have any idea to with the Big 12
because if you just kind of, if some people put them,
you know, the latter of the six we're talking about,
some people with the former of the six were talking,
and just kind of put them in some random order
and everyone just a little bit different,
you would accumulate the amount of like voting points, right,
to just kind of all be clumps together here
as opposed to having a few higher.
It was the top few have the same clumps.
I also, I think we can all agree here.
The reason the top 10 is the way the top 10
is, is because we get three AP top 10 matchups in the first weekend of football.
Oh, my God.
Isn't that part of it, too?
Yeah, I think that's part of it.
Can I really quickly push back on how Drake even poised the question when he said, is
anyone surprised that?
Good, good English, though, by the way.
You're right.
Thank you.
Is anyone surprised that you've got education right there?
Shut up, Jake.
After this season, BYU has, we'd all the BYU fans would be wearing that brown paper bag,
just like you were in that intro.
Going back to what was actually talked about, though,
When you asked the question, Drake, you said, is anyone surprised to see 5 and 7, Utah?
Why are we bringing up last year's record?
Didn't we learn our lesson with Arizona State last year to actually evaluate the team based on what they see, what they have?
This is one of the best tackle duos in college football coming in the season.
Devin Dan Peer is incredibly athletic, dynamic quarterback.
I can understand why people have their doubts about Utah.
But then at the same time, Drake, you act like BYU belongs there because literally on your show.
You said earlier today, I'm confused of why Utah is in the top 28 to me.
You didn't voice the same thing about BYU.
you, despite the fact that not to redo last week, but right now the contender to start
for them at quarterback is a true freshman.
And we saw that work for everyone not named Trevor Lawrence and Clemson of the last couple
of years.
That usually doesn't go very well.
Like Utah doesn't have a lot of questions.
Why are you so convinced that Devin Dam here is not going to be this year's version of
who agreed with me?
Parker, do you agree with me?
Your microphone sounds a little bit.
As a defender of the teams who went one in five and one score games last year, Utah
and Kansas are back, baby.
And the one-score regression comes the other way, you know, it's got to go the other way in the pencil.
So then why are the Oklahoma State Cowboys for similar reason, not at number 28?
If we're going to play the whole like, well, we got a good roster, we got returning players.
We got the good coaching staff.
He's been there a long time in Oklahoma State.
Couldn't you make the argument Utah has a line in the country, though?
Like isn't that worth something?
It's more than Devin Damp here.
Exactly to your point, Derek.
It's that offensive line.
It's the second best defense in the Big 12 from a season.
going. If you look at all, Utah and Oklahoma State were very different teams last year, too, right?
Like, yes, they both weren't great. But Utah had all these close one score losses where you could
clearly go, wow, quarterback's a massive issue. Then they bring in a quarterback who was the only
quarterback in the country last year to rush for over 1,000 yards and throw for over 2,500 yards.
Does that mean he's going to be amazing? It's not guaranteed. But he was really good last year.
And their quarterback position should at least be improved, Mr. Hatch.
What's that touchdown versus interception ratio there, Jay. And we also include the rushing touchdowns.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
That's part of the equation, that's part of the thing that makes Devon Dampier good.
We can't just take that away.
West Virginia had Zach Brazier, Wyatt Milam, and Doug Nestor on the same offensive line.
Yeah.
You know, obviously, Zach Brasier's probably the best young center in the NFL.
Wyatt Milam's starting for the Jaguars at left tackle.
And Doug Nester's on the Steelers team.
So, you know, and we were bad.
Obviously, we didn't have the same head coach.
Yeah, both teams with good offensive line.
You do remember the time.
Defense.
Utah still.
a good defense like here's the difference
didn't they lose like five dbs though in the portal
i know but you just really good so
Oklahoma State lost six games by
20 or more points last year Utah
lost five one score games there's the
I love you Derek hey what was one of this one score
game oh wait that was
oh
the Arizona lost by the way two score game
I forgot Utah lost Arizona
Parker's never forgot a good thing
that Houston has ever done
Derek loves the youth
Derek is a truther
right I've decided everybody has been so
pro b yu i need to get that like travel deal to go to utah
oh there's a big way i'll buy the flight myself
cody why are you and i going to meet at the big total championship game
i find this the whole thing laughable that people assume that the
utah utah's not going to win more games in okloma state this season
whatsoever it's not even going to be it's not even going to be no one in the
country is saying that why is that we just had one everyone's wrong i just said j t your
your Big Ten crowd will be happy that I'm putting Utah in their place in the Big 12 since they don't seem to remember where their place is in this conference.
Their place was over Oklahoma State last year.
Oh, yeah, you did.
You did real good.
And you know what?
You're going to be so good because you got called winning him back and called winning him been over two decades.
And probably he's not going to be good because Mike Gundy's there.
Right.
Yeah.
Tell us how you have Daycon Finn number two at quarterback.
Oh, my gosh.
This is the other thing, though, that's a great.
I'm actually really glad you brought that up, Cody, because I feel like part of the reason that some of you guys are down on Devin Damp here is because Dequan Finn last year.
But we are ignoring all of the other G5 QBs that we have also seen come up to P4 and have success just last year.
That happened just last year, Arkansas was able to do that and happen.
Diego Pavia, say what you want about him.
Vanderbilt had their best season in forever.
It's a G5 quarterback who then comes to the P4.
Just because it didn't work last year for DeKan Finn does not mean that it doesn't work in general.
Cody, I am curious, since we don't talk a lot of, like, just in-depth Oklahoma State on this roster,
like, why is the country wrong about the Cowboys this season?
Because this is the most aggressive we've ever been in the transfer portal.
It's the first time we've ever gone significantly into the NIL era,
and we were able to grab players from LSU and UCLA and USC and Florida.
That's why.
Can I just say something, though?
And this is a warning from every team.
Caden Salter alert.
Colorado got a ton of transfers Deon's first year.
A bunch of them were for Bama.
there was I think an LSU guy in there
there was a bunch of SEC schools in there
I just want to remind everyone
don't get enamored with the helmet sticker
of where they come from that doesn't always mean
it's going to be great
that's for a reason
that's all I've done Kevin
I looked at where their helmet stickers were
and I was like oh gosh that means we're going to be good
I'm just saying I'm just saying Kevin's just saying
that Jansport works as well as Louis Vuitton
sometimes that's all he's saying
and Cam Ward
I hope so
what if Devin Dampe here's a Cam Ward
that's all we got
possibility there's always
We got a jam support.
Shout out Jamstort,
official sponsor of the Big 12 squad.
That's the only free sponsorship that we'll give.
Coming up,
quarterback battles across this conference,
my favorite quarterback storyline this week,
the official non-gambler,
John Mateer at Oklahoma.
This is the Big 12th squad.
Hey, today's show is brought to you by Fanduel.
Why is it brought?
What?
I'm coming segment about John Meteer,
and today's show is by Fandle.

And for just 24 hours, Fandul is giving you deals up NFL season predictions.

I'll see you there on Futures Day.
John McTeer might see you there, too, on futures.
This is my favorite.
It was an inside joke, okay?
Hey, who you're like better?
One day after the U.S. and UCLA game.
Or San 11, when you won.
If you're under a rock and haven't heard this story by now, it's my favorite story ever.
On three is like, hey, Oklahoma is looking into John McKear possibly gambling.
John McKear says, I did not.
I have an inside joke with my buddies, which you would assume if you didn't know the story.
like, oh, John Mateer probably was like, had a Venmo from three years ago that said,
friendly wager.
Like, oh, what if that was sports betting?
Nay.
John Mateer versus USC.
On November 20th, 2022, sports gambling, UCLA versus USC.
This is like me murdering a family of four with a plunger.
And then texting my friend, thank you, sending a Venmo, thank you for helping me murder that
family of four with a plunger and being like inside joke you just had to be there
it's one of the kind drink so i don't know my buddies we should all go through each other's
venmo history but it is like too dumb to be what it's just too dumb it's not three years ago we didn't
know about this stuff three years ago then it was so like media back then it's so easy to link this
stuff yeah he had some some checkered venmo um sense and receives when i scrolled through it i was a little
shocked um what about arch mannings arch manning you know get an eight ball did he ever bet on any
games that he participated in some of them were some of them were too vague some of them just say sports
betting which is also why put the pizza emoji or the gas pump or any of the things venmo allows
you to do not specifically you always put exactly what you pay for and i don't want anyone
looking through i never do i i'll put like rent on it when i venmo the precarious people in my life
I'm not going to put the things that I do.
Who else are you?
It's hard to say what I would.
I don't mean to stand up for a sooner because that's certainly not what I'm very well known for.
What could you possibly stand up for?
How?
I just,
I'm going to look here, and I feel like I'm the old man in the room and Nick's actually
probably the youngest one in the room.
But I feel like, honestly, most high school kids will send a request and put something
stupid on it, not thinking about the consequences.
Sports? I am, like, his request was I am actively.
sports gambling on this game.
I do think so not because we're
a show presented by a fan duel, but I do think also
this is interesting because
I would argue
that college kids were probably
betting on sports a long time ago
too, and we just have like
digital ways to track. I almost feel like
the introduction of gambling
companies into sports, hot take
here, has helped catch this
more than proliferated it.
Right? Like, this has always
been happening. I mean,
It's definitely more prevalent now, though, right?
With just how sports gambling and everything has happened.
But I guess more athletes do it is awesome.
No, no, no.
It's just that you know about it more.
It's not that it's, okay, okay, time out.
Now is what I'm talking about.
If I pull up, if I pull up a 2005 SportsCenter TV show, episode, whatever,
and like they say the favorites this weekend,
what favorites are they talking about, JT?
No, okay, I hear what you're saying.
Like, it's always been the direction of this.
We just have the digital way to check it.
now and the companies are involved and they're invested in making sure frankly that it's not a
compromised product can i can i back up parker here but i think it's less prevalent now in the same way
that i watch a lot of like the 1990s murder mysteries and there's a reason there's a mystery there's
no like camera footage everybody's like well we just discovered dna's a thing and we have no cameras
so in 2002 if you are the quarterback at hawaii you can send a hundred dollars cash in the mail to
your bookie and no one's ever going to know today it's
too prevalent and too trackable that no one can do it are you walking to any MLB college football
NFL locker room there is a sign on the door on the wall it says do not gamble you will be
kicked out of the sport because today you can track it and so that's why I think the ultimate
watchdog is that all of it is even the stupid stuff like this on Venmo even Venmo we are able to track
it Timmy Chang was a quarterback in 2000s if he actually it's a word Drake for that slander you just
threw it his face. Timmy Chang sorry
That's, but that's what I'm saying.
Like, if he actually did this, somebody would be able to digitally track it and be like,
yeah, see, he actually did this.
Yeah, we're like 48 hours away from verifying this.
I think what the likelihood is here, he probably with his friend was like, I'll bet you
20 bucks.
They were at the bar.
He's like, I'll bet you 20 bucks.
He lost the bet and he gave him the friend to the money.
And then he can't play at Oklahoma anymore.
And that's so stupid.
Tell them to release the Venmo amount.
If it's like, say it's 20 bucks, are we just going, okay?
or if it's like a few hundred because if it is 20 you could just say it was food and they were joking right we can't
the hard part about verifying this venmo is outside of the name obviously but like it's not like jontay porter
where people were randomly betting on jontay porter to miss random shots in the game when he doesn't get minutes like it
or all the malik beasley stuff too and if i'm vimbo yeah i go pulling apple on this i ain't opening it i ain't
showing nobody as long as he didn't bet on a game that he could influence the outcome out
personally i think this is a ridiculous uh topic i mean i think everybody bets their buddies all
the time you're constantly betting i bet you five bucks that he can't do that i bet you
this team win next weekend this is a ridiculous conversation but what you mentioned cody it is
isn't it dangerous at the very least though if we start to like allow this to happen where
athletes could bet on other games because they're also athletes and might have access to that
That's why I also feel like you might have to put a stop.
It's been happening.
That's what somebody just previously mentioned.
We've been betting on games in the locker room for five bucks,
10 bucks, 20 bucks, 50 bucks, 100 bucks since the turn of the time and it's never going to stop.
So yeah, is it stupid to put it on a Venmo paper trail?
Yeah, technically it is kind of dumb.
But overall, this is a ridiculous conversation.
Unless you're talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars for somebody to mess up another game.
But even then, I still think that you're talking about a very small.
I'm not saying that it's not, you know, potentially damaging to the sport.
I'm just saying that gambling was damaging to the sport well before the internet was around
and certainly before Venmo or Panduil.com or whatever or any any states were around.
And I'd argue now that since we're cracking down on it and you're actually like punishing, like,
I don't think it's less prevalent at all.
I don't think it's, I don't think it's more prevalent at all now than it was.
But it's so much more accessible now.
And we're at it.
Let Pete Rosen.
Legal and more states is.
legal in more states as well.
Like, that's just something I think that doesn't matter.
When I was a senior in college, I got a text one of my friends who played at North Texas.
And he said, we have, the direct quote was, I found it, we have UTSA's number.
Put a grand on it.
You won't regret it.
North Texas's head coach was fired after the game because they were beat so bad.
Oh my gosh.
Was it set little or something like that?
Did you put down the trail?
Yeah.
La Trail.
Did you use that information?
I did put $100 on it.
I was like, all right, man, North Texas money line.
they're like plus 20 back then drake was one of the pores actually
10 units the one thing
you're no state fan out of the babe
the one thing to add on that Parker is that these betting companies
they're regulating this market more and more and more
they have to monitor it extremely closely because if they don't
the feds are going to crack down on them and that that's the thing about this is
right I don't know about the prevalence one way or the other
is that it's prevalent yes it is but I do think that
fan duel. Even the sports books in Vegas, our friends out in the desert is a famous broadcaster
and Brent Musburger, I like to refer to them for years. They are regulating this as heavily as they
ever had before. And they're monitoring trends and everything else. But to Drake's point,
if John Meteer was actually betting and there's an actual paper trail, it will be discovered.
But my question about this is this. My criminal brain goes into like, okay, fine.
Okay, this is just things we say in an A&A meeting. Sorry. It probably doesn't stick well with the
audience at large, does it? Anyway, my former criminal brain would say, okay, friend, okay,
girlfriend, okay, anybody else but me, here's $10,000, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
How do you track that?
Well, we're learning.
I mean, I just, I don't know, is this one of those things I say, Cody, that she's pretty
ridiculous.
No, no, no, no, I'm not even tracking where you were trying to go with that.
This is Malik Beasley calling his buddy saying you put 10,000 on it.
Yeah, Jonte Porter.
Jontay Porter.
It was his friends, and that's how they tracked it.
The Alabama baseball coach, and they found it in Ohio.
They're like, who's putting $100 grand on Alabama baseball?
Yeah, that would be screwed.
We're mentioning people that were caught, and I understand that we won't mention the ones that weren't caught or whatever.
But are we supposed to think that that wasn't happening with a buddy in Vegas or a buddy in a agency?
It's always happened, and I think that now we just have ways.
I think we just have ways to catch it now.
I think it's just a difference in being able to catch it.
And I will say Paul said one thing that I don't always agree with Paul, Paul said one thing that smart that the feds will catch up to this in a way that, I mean, the feds got Al Capone on, it was missing his taxes, right?
It was not because of anything that they caught that he actually did illegal besides missing his taxes.
That was a later thing.
But that was anyway.
He got syphilis in prison?
No.
He had civilis.
If this happens, by the way, like everyone in Oklahoma was going to lose their job too.
Like, that'll be crazy.
If John Mateer's out for the year, like Brett and Bulls, all those guys are out, which is crazy.
Because they're going to suck.
Yeah, that's why.
That's what I'm talking about.
Not because this happened because that was long ago.
I'm just saying because they'll be bad this year.
Like, that's why.
Well, and I mean, the guy didn't, didn't Jaraj's just say that he, like, grew up down the street from a chalkedaw casino.
Like, this is not.
Not telling this.
It was like an hour and a half, but yeah.
Hey, they run party buses from.
We just did big 12 days in Frisco.
They run party buses from Dallas to Oklahoma border for that reason, like that hour and a half.
I'm not a long way.
Windstar, baby.
Coming up, quarterback battles across the Big 12.
Yeah, locked on Big 12 squad.
Today's show is brought to you by Wayfair.
They're back.
I love Wayfar.
Half the furniture in my house is from Wayfar.
I am remodeling a home that I got in February.
The best way to remodel it is to go through Wayfair.
They are the spot to go online.
To press couple buttons.
And now it's at your door quickly.
Summer winding down, something nice about getting back in the routine you love.

The word on the street is
Kate and Salter is our guy. A couple of big
12 quarterback battles. Nico Markeyall
turns out will be West Virginia starter because
Paul, you tell the story. We found this one out
in a unique way. I sent you the
photo in your DMs, by the way,
Rich Rod. But Rich Rod
goes to a press conference today and
people are trying to figure out whether
I personally don't think he did it on purpose
because who needs to trick Robert Morris
but he was
discussing the reason he covers
his mouth during plays because we have so few to call he said it's just so that the cameras
don't see him cussing and obviously they took a photo of this and it's the most detailed
outlined the photos you see on the university website depth chart that you could possibly visualize
it's all right there and this has been a training camp in which he won't even discuss how
individuals are playing he won't even talk about there nobody nothing's coming out which is
why kind of like Matt Rule, we redid our entire spring game around they're going to
poacher players, you know, like the paranoia, right? So for this to happen, a lot of people
are like, oh, my goodness gracious. Oh, my God. It's the ultimate meme, really. And obviously,
you can see quarterback and Nico Markiol right under there. And especially if you, if you enhance
it, you can see it better. That name sounds a lot like Nick Marivetz.
he is from Arizona
oh look there it is
I had I had over 2230 on nick talking
that's 2243
thank you to our
I chipped in I thought Parker was right about the gambling deal
continue Mountaineer Paul that show did almost
2,000 views in an hour just a little bit ago
like people were freaking out over him doing that
for real like I just
yeah I was shocked
so Mountaineer Paul I'll just tell a funny story
you guys know Lavelle Edwards obviously the architect
of what BYU football is today.
He was famous for his grumpy face,
and he would oftentimes lean over
and put his hands on his knees and look down.
He told us years after he would retire.
You know why he did that?
It's because it's the only way he could get away
with saying, you know, a dirty word or two
without the cameras.
Honor code.
Yeah, absolutely.
That's good.
I don't think Willie Francis ever said a bad word in his life.
He's really good at like dang or darn it.
He's like Nevo.
He's just told her Wagman, I'm sure, and he's not bad.
And Borber knows all about this.
this bull junk is the most famous word in Boulder, Colorado.
Bull junk.
I will say he's also not cussing the quarterback situation
because he's got his guy for this year and he's got a different guy for the year after.
Rich Rod's pretty clean as well.
He doesn't see.
Zach Calzada, Jackson Arnold, Conner Weigman, walk into a bar.
Martender IDs, none of them.
They're all, they all have their highest in trophy under their arm with their name on it.
Or what's the thought?
Jackson Arnold.
that's that's a great why would that calzata ever have eyes he's carrying it for somebody
probably that carlton is trance all tiny i'm interested in the hawsaney i want
hosaney baby i'm interested well hoss haney is probably going to end up being quarterback too
which is kind of crazy because he's faster than devon dam pierre more athletic than devon dam pierre
is going to be able to have more yard rushing than devon dampier and he's not even going to start that's what's amazing
Our back is not a Utah starter, but let's talk about Utah.
This sounds like Bear Bachmire over here.
I like this.
Can we talk about Bear?
Actually, I'd love to hear about how Bear.
Let's go Hoss Haney first.
Then we'll hit Bear Bachmire.
Hoss Haney's number two is one of the many Gundy children he has, number one.
No, it's going to be Zane Flores, the 6 foot two, or 6 foot three,
215-pound, Mr. Nebraska, Gatorade player of the year.
That's who it is.
You know, Hos-Hanee's a number two is waiting for the rest of the sentence.
He hasn't played in college football yet, and he's going to be better than Devin Dampeer.
I said our backup's going to be better than Devin Dampeer.
And yes, the starter who hasn't played will be better, yes.
That is the factual statement.
Hey, high school football is great in the greater Omaha area.
That's right.
All the great prospects come from from.
My idea, what's taking over political, like the political debates in person at the universities,
we need to do this with sports.
I'm down for that.
I'm so down for that.
Jaycatch, Bear Bachmeyer.
uh over mckee hillstead sure if you have two quarterbacks you have zero quarterbacks if you
have three you have negative one ask cody stoval uh that you got if you have been through that
jake is this is this the guy is bear bachmyer the guy it sure feels like it's trending that
direction they paired down the quarterback battle tracing boarday is now running with the threes uh i feel
like if mckee hill said it were to be the guy he'd have established himself he had to pulled away from
pack. I think that the fact that we have an 18-year-old freshman QB transfer from Stanford who
showed up in May that is hanging right with these guys, it seems all indications are that it is
Bear Bachmeier's job to lose. Well, if who learned anything about Isaac Wilson, if Isaac Wilson
at least went through Springball last year. Like also, Isaac was a higher recruit than Bear as well.
That's why he was everything. Yes, he was. It depends on the site you look at. Depends on what
the site he's now fighting to be QB2. One more time. He's fighting to be QB2, is he not?
not Isaac Wilson yeah he's the backup yeah no he's the back of now but I'm just saying the fact
that we have a true freshman going in for BYU he wasn't even there in spring ball you and I did
crossover show that you like to denigrate my quarterback for being five foot 10 guess what bear
six foot two to 20 what's your quarterback weighing in it at yeah he's five 10 but he's played
the sport at the collegiate level and at least gone through a spring ball he went through spring ball
at Stanford he worked at trailer that's an idiot has never played college football before
Are you, what's the drop-off going to be if he starts compared to what Retzlough is last year?
You really think there won't be a drop-off?
There'll be a drop-off.
Jake Retzlop wasn't like that good, though.
It's not like you're replacing.
11th, best in the Big 12th.
11th.
Well, the time he was like a top-10 QB still, and he's still a guy.
Like, when is the last time he's been a freshman QB start at the P-4 level,
and he didn't even go through spring ball with the current team he's at,
and that team had success.
Y'all tell me, because I can't remember.
It's about to happen this year, J.T.
Your next thumbnail, J.T, should just be a picture of your face,
and underneath it just say, under fire.
Mountaineer Paul thinks and thumbnails.
He hears the sentence, he's like, move, thumbnail.
Yeah, I do.
One thing to add to this is Bear could make history of BYU.
They have never started a true freshman quarterback in the first game of the season.
They've done it.
They've started freshman quarterbacks at different points during their freshman campaign,
Zach Wilson among them, but this would be a first to have a true freshman starting the first game
of his first career. So first Jewish quarterback, first and true freshman quarterback. What's on the
bingo board next year? Well, we have a game. Let's see. Can we get a Baptist here or something? Let's see
what we can do. Derek's got one heck of a voice on him, doesn't he? That dude sounds like a radio
jockey, man. He's a broadcaster. He's out of eligibility next year. He's John's D. Johnson
radio. He's got a heck of a voice on him.
man, for sure.
Well, Drake, everyone knows that Twitter handle it.
Better than Gittins, though.
Yeah, get some beat.
Get into that.
That'd be a fun game.
Best voice on the big 12th, on the, on the whole network, I guess.
Getting this is pretty strong.
Yeah.
Thank you for the trophy, boys.
That was pretty easy.
Can I.
Peter Kutowsky real quick.
Pete, Pete is good.
The Golden Throat Award.
I mean, voice award.
Oh.
Whoa.
Whoa.
We almost made it without something getting bleaked.
out. I think that one's getting bleeped. Nope, it's staying. This has been it always will be.
