It is objective after this week that the Big 12 is substantially better than both the SEC and
the Big 10, just given the results of the games.
And this is how we're going to quantify that on the Big 12 squad.
You're talking ball with the Big 12 squad.
From Oklahoma State to Utah, from Kansas State to BYU.
From Houston to Texas Tech, it's the local experts of the Lockdown Podcast Network,
bringing you scoops, breakdowns, and the most comprehensive preview of the upcoming
Big 12 weekend. Buckle up. It's the Big 12 squad and we have a seat for you. Know her feelings and
thin skin allowed. Squat up. You're part of the Big 12 squad. Happy Thursday, everybody. Welcome
to the Big 12 squad. He comes in the state of Oklahoma and those boys from Norman. Well, those you know
what from Norman. Roll their joints all wrong. It's Cody Stovell of Lockdown, Oklahoma State. Hey, he's a
newly engaged man coming all the way from Boston, Massachusetts. Cameron Stewart of Lockdown,
Baylor. Doesn't say much. Nick Mervis,
Locked on Cyclones, Parker Ainsworth,
host Locked on Couges all the way
from the Tar Hill State. It's J.T.
Wistersell of Locked on Yutes. And why not?
Kevin Borba bought a new house, and
he's engaged with Locked on Buffs. And please
welcome the baby back
himself, Spencer McLaughlin
on Locked on College Football.
Can you say that?
Is that allowed?
That's the fastest we've gotten to a bleep, I think.
By the way, in that opening
by the way in that opening segment drake were you serious i mean i don't know i like the big 12
okay look here's the if we're talking about this week are we talking about this week this is a labor
week which starts on monday and the big 12 is one and oh this week true exactly correct also if the
cc wants to hang a tad on well auburn's good now i don't think that's a good thing for the
The SEC overall, sorry.
Sorry, Baylor.
Excellent team.
I like UNLV.
Yes, just like UNLV in 2024.
Yeah, they were good last year.
You know, V's always good, man.
He struggled with Idaho State the first week of the year this season.
If I always, and by the way, Drake, because I know you love taking shots at the Big Ten,
if you actually want to, like, go in on that, UNLV is a two and a half.
point dog to UCLA out of the Big Ten.
And as J.T. Dooley noted, the Idaho State Bengals, who the next week were down 22-0 to
the Southern Utah Thunderbirds had them on the ropes in week one.
Wow.
You would know a thing or two about to ask you.
How about those dots?
I think the official slogan of the Big Ten should be something along the lines of,
well, they're a really good Mac team.
That would be another.
Yeah, it was close, but they were a really good Mac team.
them in Kentucky this week
all the way from the coal miner
country he may have the best team
of the big 12 maybe the best quarterback in the big 12
Nico Marquiel it's Mountaineer Paul as well
is wonderful. Welcome
guys, what's up? Happy with the
win Saturday. Just happy to be here
man. Paul, that lid is beautiful
man. Thank you. Is that the game
cap? It's a game cap.
93.5 pro football focus
great for Nico Markiol. It looked really good.
Just saying Spencer. I mean, it's against Robert.
Morris, let's be real, but the big test comes Saturday against Ohio, a team that's won 10 games
three years in a row and returns every good program. Pretty good program. Good program. Good program, the
Bobcats. I figured I would segue way back into that Mac thing we were talking about.
You landed to play in there, 3431, they lost, barely lost the Rutgers last week. They should have won.
Spencer, yeah, you're locked on college football. Here, Spencer, what did you think of the, I mean, yeah, we lost the Georgia Tech, Baylor, and
Cincinnati games. After that, it was all gravy for the conference going 9 and 0 post those
losses. So, yes, those sucked. But I thought the TCU blowout on a, on a highlight game
where the country's watching was one of the most awesome things in the world. And the Utah
game, I thought Utah's dominance in Utah being back. I do believe they are back, by the way,
Devin Dampere looks spectacular. I think that helps bolster the big fall further. And even
themes like Houston or Cody Stowball, Oklahoma State Cowboys that didn't get a ton of love preseason,
looked really good against certainly inferior opponents,
but their defenses were so solid.
I think they can't be stalwarts in the Big 12 still.
Yeah, I think overall, most conferences are actually in a pretty similar spot.
There hasn't been a radical shift through one week of the perception of every league.
Like what you thought about a league coming into the year,
as long as your head wasn't up your rear end,
it's probably still what you think about that league.
because the SEC's top two teams that played in week one both lost, right?
High profile fashion, Texas, Archmanning, yikes, man, he's got, he's got quite a ways to go.
But then you had LSU.
Are we sure about that now?
He's not the greatest we've ever seen yet.
No, I don't think yet.
I think he's got some development that needs to take place there.
First career started against Ohio State, though.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, but I saw Whistler still in some of his high school highlights, man.
I did play in Texas.
Yeah, but, like, I don't, you know, the SEC had some not as good outcomes.
They had some really good outcomes.
And then the Big 12 kind of had the same thing.
And the ACC had, on the one hand, Clemson losing was bad, but then Miami wins.
So overall, I'm just kind of like, yeah, everybody's right about what, like all those games that you rattled off, Drake.
The only one that I picked incorrectly, both straight up and against the spread, was Cam Stewart's Baylor Bears, who couldn't for the life of them figure out how to
stop. Wait for it. The RPO. It wasn't even like a complicated RPO. It was we're going to
hand it off or we're going to throw a tunnel screen and Baylor was like, I have never seen this play
before. I'm still. I love you. Mr. Hill actually did play Texas high school football. That's
pretty good. It's not about what you're doing. Good job changing the topic. My friend J.T.
Wisterill did. The reference that was Arch who played small private school Louisiana football actually,
which is even like it was tiny tiny a bunch. Anyway.
Can we all admit that I plan for 50 yards against Baylor?
That's funny when you know Cody's running situation, actually.
Well played, Cody.
Drake, is that a mullet?
Yeah, it's been here.
Did you not watch college football kickoff with Drake,
Tull, Gary Patterson, and Jesse Holly this week?
I caught it.
I just didn't notice your hair until now.
I just want to take this opportunity to say it looks terrible.
What else are you looking at?
Do you know what the progression is on that?
So you go from, yeah, you go from Mollett to rat tail next.
When I grew up in Mingo County, West Virginia, I had a rat tail, which is a shaved head.
Oh, my.
And a rat tail coming out.
Oh, you're awesome.
Do you have a photograph of that?
I'd probably find one for sure.
I'm not going to lie, this is one of the least shocking things I've ever heard of them.
But I had a rat tail.
That's so sick.
Yeah, my dad made me get it for sure.
No, he didn't.
Yeah, he did.
Spencer, there's...
Wait, he dragged you to the salon
and said, Paul,
you're getting a rat, give this kid a rat tail.
This dude's dead.
No, but he's dropped me to...
He drove me to the two-way roller coaster
in Huntington, West Virginia,
there's a roller coaster at Camden Park
that is all it literally is
as it goes upside down this way
and then comes back and goes upside.
down when i was six years old he drugged me up the steps he kept calling me root and i'd say why
you call me root dad and he'd say because you're dumb as a tree root son no one at this company
on no one at this company has that we work with chris level we work with zach blackerby we
worked with some some journalists that is entertainment and that is that can't beat that you can't
Pat McAfee would be proud, Paul.
Even though Parker might disagree with Pat McAfee,
but I think Pat would be proud of you.
That was the hot take of the weekend.
I said he's an entertainer, not a journalist,
and I'm apparently an idiot.
That's like a plainly obvious take.
I did ask for clarification.
I think that's debatable.
You think he's an entertainer instead of an informer,
and I was like, well, where's the line there?
Are you not allowed to be an entertainer if you're a professional journalist?
There are some that do.
both. Oh, okay. I just think he's an
entertainer. I think he's an entertainer first, but I mean,
for God of sake, he got Aaron Rogers
on Tuesday for a long time. Like, I mean,
you know, he's broken several stories.
Talk about ayahuasca and singing kumbaya.
He wasn't getting the
exclusive with Aaron Rogers when he was the best
quarterback in the sport. I mean,
Epstein, but, but not
being immunized. They talk
about a lot of topics.
They do. He was, he was also broken
stories like he just he i think he actually broke that texas tech story the five i don't think anybody
watches pat maccafee to get more informed about anything he's but he's dear entertaining i didn't
mean it there's a byproduct i'm not saying you did i'm i'm definitely not accusing you
that that's what that's just why i'm agreeing with that with that guy right there parker i'm
just saying like i don't know entertainer before journalist or informer like that seems
plainly obvious to me that was such a jump scare to hear nick talk man
it comes off a little backhanded compliment you know i see what paul's saying here a lot of the audio
listeners for the first time we're hearing nick's voice and it's a euphoric you guys have been
infiltrated uh let's go to oklahoma state beating the shh hell out of oregon wow i'm in a mood
you are in a mood seventh miller light uh this is the bed ready over here yes
Root shit, ready.

36 hours it could be the best 36 hours of your life he was literally drinking with old
Gary Patterson last night I watched the show from the other day and I see him drinking in the
middle of the show Gary Patterson on the podcast Gary Patterson is a Ruggier ready man too he's
he's got a name right now no doubt of that man's name my uncle's name out of your mouth I bet you could
offer to double Kevin's salary for a month and he wouldn't chime into this conversation
Well, it's possible that Bill
Or experimented with Ruggiet and that's where the Hare Jordan logos are coming from
He's got new lifting capabilities now, fellas
I want to know what hour 27 of the 36 is like
And I also want to know
Ready to roll, Drake, that's the answer. You're ready to roll.
Are you scared? Is there a fear? Like some of the pills are like, dude,
after four hours, call somebody.
In Roots, she gets like, dog.
Yes.
Buckle the seat belt.
You're not even close to Dunn.
It's only been an entire day.
12 more hours.
The moment can strike at any instant.
I'll tell you who knows for sure, Pablo Tori.
What?
Have you guys not seen?
Pablo Tori has talked Bill Belichick for years now.
he literally has a podcast on like he was the person who found out who he was dating he even did a
podcast from within the beach house that everybody was like what's bill bellichick doing in this
beach house they saw him on the ring camera they went around a few years ago and everybody was like
freaking out like what's he doing there and he actually drove there he he got one of those guys
that do that analyze like the geography and uh was able to find out where it was and literally went
and did the podcast episode from inside
where Bill But Billichick stayed.
That was crazy.
You know, that's journalism.
That is.
It is hardcore.
I thought that joke would land a little better.
I thought more people knew Pablo Tori was like,
obsessed.
I thought you were trying to say Pablo Tori was on Ruggiat ready,
and I was a little confused.
I also thought there was a Ruggiat and Pablo Tori.
I was like, man, it's like,
if Pablo Tori just bricked up on ESPN?
Hey, that's a lot of work.
36 hours.
It's a lot of work.
I mean, you take it at midnight.
It's not until,
noon, effectively two days later. Like, you're still ready to go at 9 a.m. It's pretty crazy.
It's a pretty crazy concept. Spencer McLaughlin, I think Cody, I don't think Cody will need
Rudy at this weekend, given Oklahoma State's massive win over Oregon that is ensuing. Is there
any way? And you're the host of Locked on Ducks and Locked on College football. So you have the both
the subjective and the objective here. Anyway, Oklahoma State makes us a game.
what are we defining as a game much less than covering 28 and a half if this is a one score or even 10 point game
what's the like a one a one score 10 point game you've probably forced at least two dante more
turnovers you've probably injured three organ offensive linemen i'm not saying intentionally
and austin novasat is in the game and austin novicead future baler quarterback just remember that
take of mind cam is is in the game is in the game
Yeah, and I mean, Nova said it's frankly not bad
He could start for a lot of teams in the country
But yeah, I
With Haas Haney getting hurt
Which stinks one game in a year
Like that's a tough thing to
Tough thing to see like
I'm not confident
Like I've watched Idaho as a 44 and a half point dog
Take Oregon in the fourth quarter before
So I'm not going to sit here and tell you
There's a zero percent chance
But a team that has less experience
than that played a better FCS team and beat them by by more points so um yeah i'm well over 90%
confident this is not going to be a game that that comes down to the wire i can see covering 28 and
a half i for for sure um but if organ plays like they did last week yeah that's that's tough
sledding for for the cowboys oh god you can't do that man now come on is that off the street i'm not
i'm not even messing around is that off the street rattle snake hunter himself might have something to say
about this one you can't take mike gundy with a rattles no what's your deal one okay just okay
one one day one one one day yes one thousand percent i don't care i don't care if you think i am
soft i do not care drake just for that one day we're going to meet in person and i'm going to
beat you so badly when you are not looking it is
going to bother you for weeks no no that was fine it's the other
Cody respond and then I'm gonna leave Drake's gonna throw that up randomly the rest of the show
wait who threw it up what's funny is that I absolutely throw it up
not really interesting I had no idea there was a snake thing here I was more going for how manly Gundy is
I will not tell you what I've done with
Woody and Buzz. I will not tell you.
Anyway, Cody, go ahead.
Any chance that, I mean, you beat Montana. Oh, sorry, Cody.
I was just going to bring up the who Oregon beat. Could it be a little Fool's
gold? I mean, obviously we know Oregon's really good, but it's not like Montana States.
I mean, a lot of FCS team got blown out over the weekend.
True. Montana State is the preseason number two team in the FCS. So they're not like a bottom
dweller at that level, but they are still out a different level. Like I was telling Oregon
fans earlier this week, like let's feel good about how.
Oregon played and also realize like we don't have any definitive conclusions yet because
you should beat a team even the top fcs team in the country when you're Oregon you should
beat them that badly. Oklahoma State is a despite what your point spread says
Oklahoma State is a yeah good point uh despite what the point spread says Oklahoma
State should be a tougher test for Oregon than Montana State full stop. Thank you.
I'll tell you why I think Oklahoma State's going to be tough and I'm not even going to
talk about the players on the field it starts and ends.
with the fact that you mentioned potentially being soft.
Your whole fan base is so charming, extra soft today
that I think that it's going to permeate over to the locker room.
If Dan Lanning is really that butt hurt,
that he looks at something so childish
and views it as bulletin board material,
then I'm not super worried about the physicality
that Oregon's going to bring to the game.
Your fan base seems to be soft over this deal,
just like Dan Lanning.
And if that permeates into the locker room,
I feel good about the Cowboys' chances now.
All right.
It wouldn't be Cody's first time.
I tell you what.
He already said Devin Dampeer would be Oklahoma State's third string quarterback.
And damn, Debbie would be at three of total yards.
It was incredible.
Hey, it won't be the first time, nor will it be the last.
But, yeah, Cody, save that for when we record our crossover later.
I'll see you then.
Bye for now, guys.
It's not the first time someone's called Oregon Soft, though, right?
Like, that's when they've lost big games, it's kind of been that.
that's kind of been the M.O.
I had no idea.
Is he still listening?
I don't know.
I don't know.
There's been some under Mario Cristobal, right?
But Dan Lending's done a pretty good job, right?
I mean, that whole we're fighting for wins.
They're fighting for clicks thing.
I feel like that Oregon team is, yes, they got blown out in the Rose Bowl, but they're
pretty good.
Like last year overall, they were very good.
I think they just ran to a juggernaut of a Buckeyes team.
I don't worry about them being soft of this game.
Coming up, let's do a little bit of the worst of last week with what could be the best of this week.
This is the Big 12 squad.
Oh, today's show is brought you by DoorDash.
If there's one thing I love, it's DoorDash, almost the weekend.
Look back on the crown this weekend's MVP.
Who delivered power by DoorDash?
Just like you can win every Saturday with DoorDash streaks,
saving more every time you order these players delivered what it mattered most.
Let's break it down for the Iowa State Cyclones.
Rocco Beck's delivered in a big way, leading his team to win over the number four
FCC school in the country.
When the pressure was on, Rocco came through.
No hesitation, no delay.
Just like Rocco Beck delivered for Iowa State.
DoorDash delivers your Saturdays with DoorDash streaks.
You have every Saturday where you save.
Stack it all up all season.
You can save up to $250, including $100 in DoorDash credits.
Order this Saturday.
Keep the streak alive.
Fuel your game day only with DoorDash.
Terms apply from a period through November 18.
Rockobacht, DoorDash.
DoorDash, Roccobeck.
Go to DoorDash today.
Borba, you lost.
Where to can you go?
Well, good.
Cameron Stewart's back.
That's not.
Both Borba and Camer Stewart lost this week.
Let's get into those of you who did not do very well.
Kevin, where can you go?
Yeah, I think it was a tough out in Colorado.
You forced three first quarter turnovers and you score seven points off of them.
And then Deontaner's a clock management at the end of the game.
He had two timeouts with a minute and seven left and you go home with both of them.
And then still to this day, you think you made the right decision.
And I don't understand.
That was crazy.
When his press coverage, he's like, well, we got out of bounds a bunch, not once.
He doubled down today.
He doubled down again.
Like, you would have thought it was a postgame recap video from him again.
And I just don't understand it.
And now there was a quarterback controversy.
He announced that the backup is going to play.
He didn't say he's going to start, but he announced he's going to play.
And so there's just a lot going on.
And I don't really understand what the goal of any of this was, right?
Sounds like Dion.
What going on?
At least you're not Kansas State, I guess.
If we had during plays, we would be asking these questions, Kevin.
Somehow it could be worse.
Cameron Stewart of Locked on Baylor.
The Bears did the losing.
And it was, which I could have told Dave Miranda that they were probably going to run the quarterback.
Yeah, if you had told me that Jackson Arnold was going to try to run before he became a true pocket passer in this game, I would have said, you're crazy.
He was the best running back in the game.
Who could have saw this coming?
Seriously.
Parlay last week's loss with a preview into this week with SMU.
Um, I mean, they're going to tackle. I think they're going to tackle this week. So that's, that's, that's a step that they're still waiting to take as we know where we do. Um, but Dave Irana basically put it best. He said, when we set up and we were in the right spots against the run, it was four yards. When we weren't set up, it was eight to 10 yards. It was like that was it. That was the entire game. They forced one negative play the entire night. It was just really bad. And you, you, you didn't have your.
best box safety and your best run stuffer did get injured in the first quarter, but still,
like 307 to 64 in rush yards can't happen again.
SMU's defense is not Auburn's defense, nor is at Auburn's offensive line.
So I think the Bears will put up 35 points this week.
Wow.
And S will score 38.
The one thing I really hope just to prove you're going 35, 24.
Okay, great.
The one thing I really hope is a cross college football this season, this
year this week, excuse me, this week, the officiating. Oh my gosh, there was so many bad
calls this last weekend. The Cameron, in your game, the whole defensive holding, when you guys
sack Jackson Arnold or whatever it was, like that was mind boggling. There's so many just.
What about the capital? Yeah, the most obvious face mask in the history of the face mask. I mean,
I know what they're saying in the replay of that, they're like, oh, when you show it in replay,
it looks worse than it is. I'm like, bro, it was, I thought his head was coming off.
It's a small motion, Tim.
You can answer to this for me, though.
That was not the only game the SEC went on the road but took their officials to over the weekend.
What was the deal?
I've never heard of that until this year.
It happened in several big games.
What happened?
Every single one, actually, I didn't know this until I watched college football for 24 years and didn't know this.
You bring the officials if you're the opposing team in a power four game.
So like the Ohio State officiating group was SEC.
and their replay review crew.
The TCU, it was a big 12 crew for TCU,
North Carolina.
Craziness.
Is that how you force a home and home?
Like for among these big teams?
I don't know, but it definitely came into play in Baylor
in Auburn, which felt odd.
I will say the LSU won.
Them not giving LSU that touchdown on the sideline
against Clemson, like that being an SEC officiated crew to
was I don't even know how to explain.
That's why I just hope across the board,
the officiate needs to get better this week.
True. Parker-Ainsworth, you have the Houston Cougars.
at Rice. Is Rice good now?
They run a weird triple
option deal that I'm trying to learn
more about myself, but it's going to be odd.
If anything, though, Fritz went out, they played
on Thursday last week, so you get a couple of extra days
prepare, and
I think, you know, it is the game
that it may legitimately end 9 to 3.
It may seriously end 9 to 3.
Is Connor Wigo not the best things?
Hey, that'll be a good tape to send to the Big 10, Parker.
There you go.
I will say, though.
JT already did that.
Justin beat a five-loss
FCS team by more points than Arizona State
beat a five-lossed FCS team
and Arizona State's getting all this
40-todys Sam Levitt. It's like
we beat them by 27, y'all won by 19.
Talk that talk. And Utah beat more
UCLA, a P-14 by more than both you guys too. So
Utah's pretty good as well. You can't. I'll never
bet on Utah this entire season. You'll never bet on Utah? I made so much
money on Utah on fandul.com. It's not even fun.
You said they were only good. You said they wouldn't win 10 games.
right next three years i think miss yeah i won't do it i will not do it how many guys
i won't do it how many guys wish you would have done the lee corso uh uh
oh my gosh i know wild then i do you have like why do you have like three guys playing both
ways are the receivers that bad okay so we did have a couple we did have one receiver injury
but i think also part of it is just yeah i the smith snowing thing was crazy he just he looked
really good out there i the jackson benny thing surprised me but hey
hey, you know, they're producing.
Like, I'm not going to be mad when they're producing.
Utah's got some other guys that were injured on defense.
I mean, it was hard not to come away, incredibly impressed with what Utah did.
If it ain't broke, it don't fix it.
So I was really impressed by everything that was working out there.
And I feel like Utah is a contender again in the Big 12 based on what we saw last week.
But we'll wait and find out.
Everyone wants a Travis Hunter.
I get it.
I would say, probably question that strategy, Kevin.
Like, that was.
That was what I thought is.
I've said this on my show a thousand times now that people are going to try to
to duplicate Travis Hunter, but it's going to be hard to replicate Travis Hunter.
And I think Utah is taking three swings at it at once, right?
But you remember Sione Vaki?
He was P. Works pretty good.
You know when Utah did that.
It was like a, that was an experiment mid-season.
You guys are saying things that I could never understand.
My brain can't comprehend any of the words that are happening right now.
There are names being thrown around.
Mr. Paul of the Mountaineer variety.
You're only three-point favorites on.
Present.
You're only three-point favorites in Athens.
You're going on the road to Athens this week.
It's one of the toughest places to play.
How do you have the mountaineers fair?
You know, it's going to be interesting.
I had the play-by-play guy on earlier and spoke with him,
and they're a really confident group.
You know, like I said earlier,
they've won 10 games, three straight years in a row.
Parker Navarro is the best quarterback in the Mac by a long margin.
Shocked that he was able to stay.
Kwant Finn.
Back in the Mac, maybe.
Legacy.
Legacy, I mean, I get where you're going to,
Ben can play.
Reservie.
It's going to be.
It's going to be a tough game.
I would love to see the Mountaineers perform like they did in the second half against Robert Morris.
Obviously, five fumbles.
We lost in that game.
We only allowed two yards for play.
We had almost 700 yards of offense.
That's what you want to see in a game one with 70 new players.
I think we're going to ramp it up.
I keep telling people, sincere Bowers is a name to watch, the running back spot.
Really, really looking forward to seeing him play at the RV2 spot behind Jahim White.
I think that we either make a statement or we're going to be proved to people that we're probably fringe bowl team this year this weekend because I know we've had some conversations about it in the chat, but it's still floating out there that we could get game day.
I know that there is that you said the ESPNPR said something.
I'm just saying, like even our journalists are reporting it.
I don't know. I don't know.
I'm going to until they say no, it's happening.
okay dude paul's got me fired up man i'm picking the radio no but seriously i'm i'm in
this is a big game for us whether we get game day or not i mean we're going to get something
i mean macfiel be there at the very least so it's a big game either way some people are saying
is it a look-ahead spot because of pitt being next week it's 18 years later the whole thing i i don't
know but it feels like you know when they asked rich rod in the press conference today uh he said
Listen, man, if you don't, if you need to look past Ohio, if you do look past Ohio,
I don't want you here because this team can absolutely beat us today.
Mick Marevettes, you have maybe the biggest game of the Big 12 this weekend.
You're playing Iowa at home.
Can you start 3 and 0?
I think this might be, that's an amazing picture.
God.
Oh, gosh, I was Spencer was here for that one.
Is Nick Marevettes in the room with us right now?
That might be the biggest game of the entire weekend, like across college.
football. So we, I know, um, big new kickoff is going to be there. Barstool College
football show is going to be there. Pate's going to be there. It's going to be a huge. You mean this
Josh Pate? The same Josh Pate that just released his week two, J.P. Pole and Texas is number one.
Well, look at Utah. That's got to be for clicks. It's not a rating. It's not a rating.
It's not a rating. He's talking to people all in the chat. Like, come on guys. It's not that
deep. Like, what are you doing? What are you doing? It's just about this.
talking the Big 12, right?
It would be favored on a neutral field.
That's all it comes down to.
He told me Alabama's at 12
because they'd be favored on a neutral side
against Florida State.
They just played.
I just watched the game.
He always puts stuff up on the model.
Hypothetic.
Oh,
yeah, if it's the model.
Sorry, Nick.
Keep going.
No, that's okay.
Is TCU legit?
Are they like a contender to think?
Why can't see that bad?
What are we glossing over Iowa State?
What do you do?
I will jump in on TCU.
I think TCU is really good.
I don't think we should be.
or air cut or Spencer's fingers.
Nick,
talk about how bad Iowa's quarterback is.
They thought they had them and when I checked in,
he had like 2.5 yards per pass.
Nick, just,
just yell on the mic, bud.
I think he finished with 44 yards last week.
Yeah, it was really impressive what he was able to do
with overthrowing the screen passes and underthrowing the touchdown
passes.
No, it's,
it'll be interesting to see what he does in Ames.
I don't think he'll do.
I have no idea.
Like, what the hell I'm doing?
You know, I have no idea.
Who did that?
that's not that was not called for oh that was perfect whoever did that thank him what was the question
what sparks that response uh he he was asked about like does it matter players go into class
and he's talking about how when he was in college he was like class was the first time i didn't know what
i was doing and it was like and it was a nice sincere answer uh and he left himself vulnerable but
He left us with an unbelievable soundbite.
And luckily, Baylor has the nicest media in the country, so no one clipped it.
No one, not one.
Baptist.
Correct.
Pauls onto it.
Nick, thank you very much for your assessment.
Yes, of course.
Are you going to tell us about this?
The show is over.
All I was going to say is, do we think TCU is actually that good or U.N.C.
that bad?
Josh, he was through for 4,000 yards.
Torn Corkman O'Don.
Why is this one of the other?
North Carolina is legit terrible.
Yes, it's like the Brady-Valichic debate.
It can be both, J.T.
Yeah.
It can be both.
He's new is so legit that Smith-Sinodin could be the third-stream quarterback Mr.
T.
UT, I mean,
do with this.
Would be a draftable guys.
And one of them gave one of them nine catches.
So there's that.
That's how bad North Carolina is their best player.
Imagine how good Tom Brady would be under Sunny Dykes is a very good.
It's a very good tweet.
Just asking the question.
This has been it always will be.
That's all the guys that do the stuff. Locked on, it's the Dos A Grande Squad.
