So after wrapping up the American League side of our division by division trade preview yesterday,
let's look at the N.L. West and we're going to start with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Colby, what are your thoughts on L.A. as a trade partner for the mayors?
Not a good one. There really isn't a ton here for Seattle to take by.
you know, Max Muncie is a guy who would have made some sense in the last year of his deal,
but he's signed an extension, so he's off the table.
Obviously, the Dodgers aren't going to trade mookie bets, Freddie Freeman, or Will Smith,
so they're off the table.
The Dodgers do have some pitching needs.
They're heavily rumored to be the frontrunner for the Shohei Otani sweepstakes,
but Otani's not going to pitch this year.
Kershaw is a free agent, and he's also out for,
the next six to nine months.
So he is,
even if he resigns with the Dodgers,
which I think we all assume he will,
he's not going to be ready until,
you know,
mid,
the middle of the year.
And Eureas has his own issues.
He's not coming back.
So,
yeah,
the Dodgers do need pitching.
So in theory,
they would be one of those teams
that could make some sense for Miller or Wu,
but A,
the Dodgers can just go by the pitching.
The,
you know,
the,
like the,
the league minimum salary isn't that big of a, you know, bonus to them.
But also they just don't really have the pieces to get one of those guys.
Like, Outman's probably the closest.
And you're Seattle, you probably want somebody a little bit better, more proven than Outman.
And then, you know, Michael Bush is a bat that looks like he could play in Seattle.
But he is a DH only.
He's left-handed tie France, basically.
You hope.
And then Gavin Lach has.
is coming off of the major ankle.
Was it an ACL or was it just the ankle?
It was an ACL.
Yeah.
So he twisted his ankle bad and his knee kind of went backwards in spring training.
So those are two guys that are fairly interesting,
but you just really don't have the pieces to go get those guys and you're not really,
you're probably not trading Miller or Wu for a prospect package.
And other than that, the two teams don't really line up.
Seattle doesn't have a lot that the Dodgers would want and the Dodgers don't have a
a lot of that the Mariners would want.
So, you know, maybe there's a Gatterall or a fill-ups or a Ferguson trade.
But more likely than not, there's just not really a good fit here, unless it's some kind
of smaller prospect for prospect or prospect for role player type of deal.
There's just nothing here that's going to, you know, mean much, I guess, for the 2024 roster.
Yeah.
I think that they would have interest in Miller-Woo because they obviously need help in the starting
rotation, but I don't think they're trading James Outman for either of those guys. And I like Gavin Lux,
but I don't necessarily feel comfortable about trading one of my starters for Gavin Lux right now at this particular point in his career.
So, yeah, I mean, maybe there's a reliever trade here. Maybe there's more of a minor-ish trade here between these two teams. But overall, I don't see anything big picture-wise between these two
clubs. But we'll see.
So the Arizona Diamondbacks, they're coming off of a World Series appearance.
I would assume that they're going to look to build out their major league roster a bit more.
That's going to be their main priority this off season.
But they've been a little bit weird in terms of their roster build over the last few years.
So who knows what they might try to do here.
I know you really like Christian Walker.
Is there any chance you think that the mayors could land Christian Walker this winter?
I'd say pretty slim.
The Diamondbacks have a unexpected windfall of cash coming to them thanks to their deep playoff run.
But like you said, the Dodger or the Diamondbacks are kind of weird.
They're perpetually like refusing to rebuild yet they, you know, they spend money but not, you know, nearly enough.
They're just kind of this weird middle ground team.
but Walker is a guy who arguably the best or you know one of the five best first baseman in all of baseball now when you factor in defense and and overall hit tool and of course the power so I doubt that they would that they would actually trade him with one year left but if he was available then Seattle should be very interested because he's a really good fit for what your club needs but I just I don't see it I doubt it but yeah I am certainly interested so anything.
else here in Arizona that you think the diamondbacks would actually be willing to part with that
the Mariners be interested in? I mean, Corbyn Carroll. Right. Right. Yeah, you know, I don't know.
Like, are they willing to part with Cotel Marte? Maybe they might be. Like, I can't say no. I doubt it,
but I can't, you know, definitively say there's no shot. And then, yeah, I think, you know,
Zach Gallen, maybe if they didn't, you know, make the deep run they did this year.
He might be kind of a surprise trade candidate.
But now I think, you know, we're all thinking about the same guy here.
It's, you know, Paul Seawald, who had a legendary run in the playoffs, not including
the World Series, unfortunately.
And, yeah, but he was, he was pretty mediocre for Arizona after the trade before the
playoff started.
So, and he's due to make, I think,
eight million bucks this next year as his
last year, um,
of,
you know,
arbitration.
I don't think that the diamondbacks are going to non-tender him.
I think they'll tender him a contract.
Uh,
and then I do think that there's a strong possibility they could trade him.
Uh,
uh,
so I mean,
that's,
that's kind of the guy that I think most people want,
uh,
want to talk about,
but, uh,
you know,
there are some,
some minor like Dominic Fletcher,
if you're looking for like depth.
Yeah, that's who I was going to mention.
I was going to mention Fletcher.
I was also going to mention maybe Jake McCarthy.
Yeah, I mean,
Diamondbacks are in theory,
a team that could have interest in,
E. E. E. E. E. Hineos Juarez as well.
Right.
You know, they kind of need some thump there.
But Pardomo or Loller,
they're probably going to give that shot too.
So not a great match here in terms of just,
you know, big league for big league trades.
But, yeah,
there are a few guys and I think you know
Zach Allen is kind of the pipe dream
here but I think Seawald is
probably the guy
maybe a Joe Mantipli
if you're looking to build out the middle of your bullpen
but again just not a ton here
I like Walker I like Marte
I think they'd be great fits in Seattle I just don't
think Arizona is going to trade either one of them
which you know kind of leaves
Seawald as the obvious name
right and with regards
to the Gino thing as well
that you can also apply this to the
current rumors about the Blue Jays talking to the
Merriners about Gino.
Whichever team is looking to trade for Gino
has to make it worth the Mariners' time
and make it worth the headache
that the Mariners are going to have to take on
to find a different
third baseman in this particular market.
We know how bad this market is in general
and also third baseman, good third basemen
are hard to come by
this overall. So
there's a
like while there's definitely
valuation within the
Diamondbacks organization that is
appropriate for a Gino trade
that might not be something that
the Mariners would be willing to say yes to
because again it's it's they want to
build out their major major league roster as well
and it's
going to be a tall task to
go out and get a guy that you can
replace Gino with and feel good about
as well so there's a finite
amount of
trade ideas there whether
it be with Toronto, whether it be with Arizona, or really any team where the
Mariners are actually going to say yes to a, to a, to be no deal. And a team is probably going
to have overpay for Gino in order for the marriage to, uh, to part ways with him. So, um,
again, that's just the circumstance of the market, right? That's not like, well,
we could talk about trades in a vacuum. Circumstances obviously matter. Contacts obviously matters
when we're talking about these things. So, uh, so yeah, I don't expect Gino, uh, just to quickly,
address the Blue Jays rumors and all that going on right now.
I don't expect Dino to get moved this offseason for that very reason.
But yeah.
So, all right, we're going to talk about the Giants, Padres, and Rockies.
See if those teams have anything the Mariners should be interested in in just a moment.

And you're listening to the Lockdown Airs podcast.
Thank you again for making us your first listen as we dive into the N-L-West
for potential trade targets for the Seattle Mariners this winter.
We've talked about the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Now let's talk about the San Francisco Giants.
And I think there's a couple of interesting possibilities here for the Mariners in San Francisco.
Colby, what do you think about the Giants as a potential trade fit?
Yeah, there are a few guys.
You know, J.D. Davis is an interesting bat who's kind of awfully similar to Thai France.
but he can actually play a little bit of third base.
Like he's not awful there.
He's made some big strides there.
So he's the guy who makes sense.
Lamont Wade is a guy that I've liked for a while.
Mikey Strimski is, you know, another guy who could be available.
But Giants are in kind of a weird spot because I'm not sure which direction they're going to go.
They're an older team.
Their farm system isn't great.
You know, they certainly have resources.
They can go out and they can spin big.
And I think they'll at least put out feelers on Otani, but like, which direction are they going to go?
So Lamont Way Jr., Tharo Estrada, maybe, but I'm not, I don't love that idea.
And then, yeah, it's Mikey Schrimski, who's a really interesting fourth outfield option.
Lefty, lefty, can play all three outfield spots.
Pretty good on base, got some pop.
So he's he's a guy, Wilmer Flores.
If you're looking for a guy who crush his lefties, it could be him.
But yeah, other than that, not a ton here.
There is a reliever who made his debut last year, who I am very interested in.
But he has five years of club control left, so I doubt they'd move him.
But Ryan Walker, a lot to like about Ryan Walker.
Go look at his stat cast page and tell me he's not an interesting guy.
So, and then I suppose it's possible that they could trade Michael,
and Forto who just opted in.
But yeah, you know, you're mostly looking at kind of, you know,
guys who you would hope would be the third best bat the Mariners bring in this,
this winter.
But there are a handful of guys, most of them left-handed bats.
Yeah.
I like Yostrumsky as a possible fourth outfield type.
Or if maybe they don't add their big bat in a corner outfield spot, I'd be fine with
Yostrinsky if like they went out and made a splash at, you know, second or just another.
position in general. That's not
outfield.
Though I think that
most likely outcome here is that if they had a big bat
it's going to be in the off field. But nevertheless,
I like you, Stremski quite a bit.
So yeah, there's some interesting fits
here and maybe there's a couple
options of the bullpen. The Mariners and Giants always make trades.
Whether it's in season or before
the season, it's just they've never really been that
big of trades.
The biggest trade is probably Tom Murphy, right?
and that was like a
you know a whatever like no one's
even really thinking about it type of deal
at the end of spring training
and Murphy hadn't even played
for the Giants they had claimed them off away
was from Colorado before that
you know there was the Matt Boyd trade
there's Kirk Sally all that
Prolonda Borrella but
maybe they'll actually swing a
you know a bigger more noteworthy
deal you know it's not going to be
a blockbuster by any means but I mean
if you see Mike Yistremski come across
ticker or thyroid like that's a legitimate dude that could really help the merits
2024 so I would keep an eye on them for sure because those two teams definitely have a
rapport with one another on the trade front so let's talk about the Padres I mean this is
kind of the the marquee team in terms of this discussion today because of a certain
corner outfielder who has a year left of club control that is probably going to get traded this
winner. A lot of people think he's going to get traded this winter. That's Juan Soto.
And the Mariners have obviously been linked to Juan Soto a little bit, a little bit more so in
terms of like, hey, the Mariners should trade for Juan Soto rather than like, hey, the Mariners are
actually interested in Wons Soto. But nevertheless, it does make sense a little bit on paper.
I mean, of the teams that should be, in theory, willing to take on the $33 or so million
dollars that Soto is owed in arbitration this year, the Mariners,
probably have the best package to offer the Padres,
given where the Padres are at right now.
We all know about the loan that they took out.
It seems like they're going to want to reduce payroll this winter.
So let's just talk about Soto.
Let's get this out of the way.
I do think it's something that we can't completely rule out,
but I don't think it's very likely.
What do you think of Wan Soto trade would look like?
with the Mariners.
Stupid.
I thought you were in favor.
I thought we, didn't we talk about this like a month ago and I thought you were like kind of in favor of it?
I mean, if I could get him for like what I would actually give for a one year contract, I sure, but like.
Well, what would you, what would you give?
What would I give for one year of Juan Soto?
Yeah.
Jared Kelnick.
that's it
I mean like
it is one so
I know it's only for a year
but I know it's for a year
and by the way
let me stop you let me stop you right now in the comments
you don't get to factor in a possible extension
into the trade and also let's be real
Juan Soto is not signing an extension
with the Seattle Mariners that is not happening
he's going to hit the market at what 26 27
he's going to get his $400 million
the Mariners aren't going to give it to him
So I know for a fact that it is a one year acquisition of Juan Soto.
Does Soto put me over the top?
No, he doesn't.
And if I have to give up Miller or Wu, then I'm probably gaining two wins max.
I mean, Wonsoto is a five-win player, four or five-win player.
But that's all bad.
You're not getting anything defensively.
You're not getting anything on the bases.
And again, it's one year.
So if we're talking about my guess is what the Padres would look for,
and this is just a guess,
it would be Miller,
Helnick, Ford, or Young,
and I'm out.
I'm out.
So if it was for two years,
I'm interested.
If,
you know,
if it wasn't like,
if it was two years of like Logan Gilbert for one year of Juan Soto,
I'd be interested.
But there's just not,
not a fit. Like what are you going to give the Padres that isn't a gross overpay on your end?
It also doesn't create holes because you're not going to trade for Juan Soto with just prospects.
Not going to happen. Padres are going to want major league players.
And because of their financial troubles, probably cheap major league players.
And the cheap major league players that Seattle has to offer, Miller, Wu, Kalnick.
And then a major cliff after those three guys.
And then we're talking about Cabriero.
and then the relievers.
Right.
So I don't see it.
I don't see it.
Look,
at the end of the day,
the Mariners acquire Juan Soto.
I'll focus on that end of it,
more than what they gave up.
But, yeah,
the Mariners,
like,
if the Mariners did make that trade,
they would get better in the interim,
right?
They would get better in 2024.
But as you said,
that's not the only thing that they have to do,
right,
to make this roster,
what it needs to be.
And $33 million.
We talked about this with the Teo thing yesterday.
John Stanton's probably going to
heavily restrict Jerry DePoto and
Justin Hollander financially
this off season. So $33 million
it's going to cut into a lot, if not
pretty much all of what they have to
spend this year.
We're guessing, we're guessing, we're guessing.
Based on pretty safe assumptions.
Based on, you know, history.
But again, so, so, yeah.
So, like, while Soda makes you better,
you still need to do more after Soto.
And if you don't really have that much money after acquiring Soto to work with,
it's going to be very, very hard for you,
especially now that you've traded away assets, right?
So now you have less assets to go out and get cheaper players on the trade market as well.
It just makes the rest of your roster build very complicated.
So it has a,
it has this trickle down effect that you really have to be careful with if you do trade for Soto.
Now, if, you know, for example,
Michael Waka had opted in
and it was Soto and Waka
Right then I'm willing to give more
But just for Soto like
I would give up one of the top prospects
One and then probably a
You know somewhere in the 7 to 10 range prospect
And then
You know so it'd be like something like
Harry Ford
Jonathan Claus
say and
I don't know like
Tyler Locklear or
or Las Montes
maybe like something like that but
just not going to get it done and
yeah so it's just just not a
realistic option it's you know
I would give them
Miller Wu if I knew that Stanton was
going to give me the money that it takes to go
out and get like Sunny Gray or Chota
Imanaga or Michael Waka
or someone like that
even then I'd like
can you give me Soto and Jake Croninworth?
Because now I'm interested.
But just one year of Soto, it's just not enough to give away, you know, major pieces.
It could, like you said, it could end up being, like, if the Mariners go out and they sign like Snell or Aeronola or Yamamoto, like, you know, they sign like this legit, like top of the rotation.
They just come out of nowhere.
wow or Otani even like then yeah
things change although Otani if you sign
yeah if you sign Otani you're not getting once up
you might as well in for a penny and for a pound
I mean like you should you should but John Stanton is not
going to write those checks so now there are other players on the
on the Padres that do make more sense than Soto
and aren't going to cost an arm and a leg but they're going to cost
something you know we mentioned a couple of Jay Croninworth
is a guy
Scott Barlow
I'm pretty sure it's Scott
I think there's two Barlos
that I get mixed up all the time
but yeah
he's a reliever who's going to make
you know 7, 8 million bucks
that's probably not something
the Padres are all that interested in trading
or in keeping
Trent Grisham
is kind of interesting
he's going to make about 5 million bucks
he's been pretty bad at the plate
I'd be cool with taking a flyer on him
like yeah I mean like he's your fourth outfielder
like fine whatever uh but yeah there there are some guys uh the Padres though they
desperately desperately need pitching uh this winter and they're not going to have a ton of
money to go get it in free agency they've lost i think I counted it up and it was about like
800 innings out of their pitching staff uh with opt-outs and natural free agency so uh yeah right
now it's musgrove you d'arge how you want to take guess who's the number three starter for the
Padres if their season started today.
Ah, ooh.
I don't even know.
All right.
So you said Darvish and Musgrove and then
Nick Martinez is a free agent, right?
Yep.
opted out.
Michael Waka opted out.
Seth Liddow uped out.
Blake Snell's free agent.
Who even is on that team right now?
You're never going to get it.
So I'm just going to tell you.
Yeah.
Matt Waldron.
That's like who would be their number three right now.
Pedro Avila.
Now maybe there's some prospects.
Isn't he a reliever?
I mean,
Fangraphs hasn't projected
as 134 innings,
but maybe the
answer is maybe Joe Muskrove's actually
available, even though he just signed an extension.
That'd be something.
But yeah, I do think that
Hassan Kim, Trent Grisham,
Jake Croninworth,
those are guys
that I'm interested in.
Fernando Tatis Jr.
Stop.
Chris,
I know you're watching.
Stop.
That's never going to happen.
So just,
you know,
zip it.
And then,
yeah,
you know,
somebody probably going to get
non-tendered.
So you don't have to trade for him.
But keep an eye on
Osceola,
that reunion.
He was terrible last year.
The Padres hate his guts.
I mean,
Padre fans,
hate his guts.
And,
you know,
you need some catching depth.
So,
Osceola,
possible.
Yeah,
if Tom Murphy doesn't work.
out maybe you throw nilla into the mix or mike zanino into the mix with blake hunt yeah yeah yeah so uh but yeah
to me it's cron and worth kim grisham a little bit barlow maybe musgrove if he's available like i would
trade like bryce miller for joe musgrove straight up um but seattle might not because it's not a
slam dunk because 20 million dollars of musgrove or 750,000 for mill he's been hurt yeah like
there's no guarantee that musgrove's better than that's
the Miller this next year. So there are some guys, but I wouldn't say there's a ton.
But, you know, there is a favorite of ours. And if you're subscribed to the Patreon,
you know who we're talking about. And we might be talking about him again today.
Yep. Yep. Patreon.com slash control the zone.
For those of you that are not subscribed, our offseason plan is going live in what,
three hours, two hours? Uh, the article drops on the Patreon at, uh, 4 o'clock.
Pacific time and then you know Ty and I will go through it on the on the podcast which probably
drops sometime shortly after so you guys will get our offseason plan you have locked on I don't
know probably next week or maybe even the week after like yeah and you know we'll probably
have to adjust because the marries will probably have made a move or maybe even two by that
point but we're not adjusting if you want to know what we think before the mariners do stuff you got
to pay us.
Right, right, right.
So patreon.com
for it slash control the zone.
You can get access to the offseason plan and all of our shows talking about the
offseason plan for free if you sign up for a seven day free trial.
Yeah.
Get on it.
All right.
Lastly, the Colorado Rockies,
fully.
We know that this team has been interested in Brendan Rogers a little bit,
but this is also one of two teams.
Here you putto has still not traded with.
Sure. Let's get this out of the way.
We don't know that they've been interested in Brennan Rogers.
No, I was, I was told last year that they were, that they had talked to the Rockies about Brennan Rogers.
So, yeah, because your source is contradicting me.
I don't believe it.
Right, right.
Yeah, but honestly, there's not a ton here.
My source doesn't fit your narrative.
Yeah.
Besides the fact that the Rockies are a dumpster fire and probably the worst run organization, not named
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the entire sport.
I guess Oakland's probably up there too.
Man, what is it going on?
But like, this is the team's a dumpster fire.
They just gave Charlie Blackman an extension.
They just gave who's the guy that people wanted to trade Julio for a few years ago?
I can't remember her.
Oh, her mom, Marquez.
Yeah, they just gave him an extension.
Like, what are you doing?
They bid against themselves for Chris Bryant a few years ago.
Like, what are you doing?
That team is it.
After trading Nolan Aeronado for literally like nothing.
And after they didn't trade Trevor Story.
Or I don't even think they put a qualifying offer on him, did they?
I'm pretty sure they just let him walk.
I can't remember.
So yeah, that organization's a dumpster fire.
So if you're looking for guys who might fit from that terrible, terrible team,
Ryan McMahon is about a league average bat who looked like he was in the middle of a breakout.
year, but he fell hard, you know, strikeouts shot way up.
So that's probably not it.
Good third baseman.
So they do trade, you know, maybe that's the guy they go get, but he is not a good bat.
Like you said, Brennan Rogers is interesting, but hasn't really quite broken out yet.
You kind of keep on waiting for more out of him, and it just hasn't shown up.
Well, now he's Rube eligible, and there's no guarantee that he's even better than
Delamore Jose Gabriero.
I mean, there's more upside there, but.
Yeah.
I mean,
Elias as your number two catcher,
maybe, but the Rockies probably
All-Star game MVP, Elias Diaz.
Yeah, they probably view him as a star because
that's how stupid the Rockies are. I'm dead.
Like, dumbest front
office, I can't even
imagine a dumber front office. Because
at least the Angels moves that they make,
they all make sense to some degree.
We just know they're not going to work, but at least they
make some sense. Like,
The Rockies have an offseason plant and they just spin a wheel and throw darts at the same time.
And that's how they decide what to do.
They're so stupid.
They're not trading Nolan Jones.
And that's really it.
No, I'm not interested in taking on a penny of Chris Bryant's salary.
Their pitching staff is garbage.
There's nobody there.
Like Justin Lawrence, maybe.
But no, this is just a really bad team and there's not a lot here.
And there's not a ton to be excited about in the farm system either.
And they're just spending stupid money on bad players.
And again, you want your team to spend, but you want them to spend wisely.
Otherwise, you end up with the, you know, the albatross of a contract in a Chris Bryant.
Like, they'd have to pay him for another like six years.
It's just, it's bad.
It's a dumpster fire.
It's not a good roster.
So, yeah, there's just not a lot here.
either Ryan McMahon or it's Brendan Rogers, but both of those guys are below league average
bats for their entire career.
They have been.
Just no.
Just look elsewhere.
I mean, good lore.
Rocky's fans, you have no shot for the next like half decade.
None.
Zero.
Yeah.
Not even a ray of hope, really.
Yeah.
It's really sad.
All right.
So that's going to do it for a show.
Question of the day.
They have the Broncos.
they have the nuggets
hey
in the avalanche
who did the
I feel like the avalanche had an early exit
from the Stanley Cup playoffs last year
who did that
can't put my finger on it
I feel like there was a point where they like
cheap shot at the other team's best player too
and knocked him out for the series
and they still couldn't win
right
yeah
release something or other
but anyways
give it to me
at least the cracking.
All right.
Question of the day.
And I saw all of your disrespectful
ass comments on the comment section yesterday.
So I'm aware.
The disrespect has been noted, folks.
It's been noted.
Just get to your question of the day.
But you know,
man.
No,
I'm asking you for the question of the day.
Because people apparently really like you.
They don't want to hear from me.
Even when like,
even when like I'll build upon the take that you have
or like a take that we share, people are just like,
yeah, I agree with Colby.
That's high at all.
Like, I agree with both of you guys.
Nope, I just agree with Colby.
I think that you're full of it.
I think that you're just reacting.
You're just upset that some people think I can beat you up.
Right.
Sure.
Oh, wait, Ty claims he's six foot one guys.
Did you know that?
Yeah.
But, uh,
but, uh,
how tall are you, by the way?
About 5.11.
Okay.
So, not that much of a difference.
5. 10 and a half to 511
somewhere in that range, I think.
But yeah, so
I don't know how long your arms are for the reach,
but I don't know. I don't really have a question.
I feel like I have long arms, but I've never measured.
Yeah, neither. I don't know if I have long arms. I don't think I do have long arms,
but anyways, I don't have a question of the day. I assumed it was your turn.
All right. Fine. Let me think of something on the spot.
All right. So we've all collected baseball cards.
at one time or another.
And there's always that
that one player that you just get
like an absurd amount of cards of
for, you know, for whatever reason.
So who is that player for you?
For me, it was like David Sagi.
I had a lot of David Sagi
back in the day when I was a kid.
Colby, do you have one?
I don't know. I don't really collect baseball cards.
Are you trying to flex your baseball card collection?
No, because I have over
20,000 cards and bends that I can't pull out and show everybody.
If anybody wants them, by the way, please make an offer.
That was a flux.
Please make an offer.
You can have them.
I have a lot of like Max Suzuki rookie, like the shiny ones from like seven or whatever.
Yeah.
I have like five of those somehow.
I don't buy them and like they just, anytime I open an older pack or like, you know,
I buy like a bundle or something.
and there's just always one two of those in there.
So yeah, the Max Suzuki like refractor card,
I think from like 96, 97 somewhere in there.
I have like five of those somehow.
Yeah, dude, David Sagi, man.
Like when I went down to New Mexico and went into the storage unit
where I have all my old stuff in,
I pulled out all my cards and I was just like,
David Sigi again, David Sigi again.
I pull out a stack and there was at least like three David Suggis in there.
I don't get it.
I don't know why they printed so many David Sigi's.
the geese back in like 2000
2001
yeah I don't know
or maybe I just have all of them
I don't know
you know as a you know
better question to tie's terrible question
that's too specific
you guys have a favorite like baseball card set
like are you like an Alan and Ginter guy
or are you more of like a tops guy
I like tops
it's good with the OG
like tops
top's chrome is cool
get to the
like the uh
tie
we're over.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Let me just add one more thing.
What was the, yeah, I like those.
What was the, uh, I think it was tops as well.
Like back in like 2001, 2002, they had like an orange kind of border around all the cards.
I have about half of that entire collection.
Yeah.
That was a cool set.
I like that side.
It was okay.
All right.
Uh, that's going to do it for our show.
