Hello, Mariners fans.
My name is Andy Patton, and I'm the new host for the Lockdown Mariners Podcast, part of the
Locked On Podcast Network.
For those of you who are new to the Lockdown Podcast Network, we are your only source for daily
podcasts about your favorite team.
That means Monday through Friday for 20 to 30 minutes, you get to listen to me to tell you
everything you need to know about our beloved Seattle Mariners.
I'll be providing game recaps of the previous day's games, analysis on Seattle's upcoming
games, while also going deep on trade rumors, free agent signings, minor league editions, and, of course,
taking a deep dive into Seattle's future down on the farm. A little bit about myself, I am a local
Seattleite who has been working in the sports media world for about three years. I am currently a
beat reporter for the Seattle Seahawks for the Seahawks Wire through USA Today, and I also write at various
other sites, including pitcher list, The Unafraid Show, Prospects 1500, and Roto Baller. I have been a
Mariners fans my entire life. I came to my first game during the 2001 season, getting to watch a 10-to-1
route of the Baltimore Orioles during Cal Ripkins' final series at Safeco Field. I was here for the
magical six-pitcher no-hitter in 2012 and was working for the team when Hisashi Iwakuma threw his no-hitter as well.
I've been around all the greats from junior to Edgar to Ichero and to Felix, although my prize
possession is a Willie Bloomquist jersey. I cannot wait to give Mariners fans a daily podcast
to listen to on their way to work while in line at the coffee shop or just hanging out around the
house. The Mariners may be pushing through yet another rebuilding season, but the future is bright
and I am so excited to be here with you all to watch it unfold. Don't forget to hit the
