This is the Mariners Postcast.
Your instant game reaction for the Seattle Mariners.
Part of the Locked-on Podcast Network, your team every day.
I really don't know if I'm going to be able to do this.
I truly don't know.
Like, how in the heck do people do this?
Teams that are constantly in the playoffs, how do you do this?
How?
How do you do this?
Because I'm, I don't know how you do this.
Just a real quick comment here.
As a Tigers fan, congrats on a playoff win if we don't advance.
I'm rooting for the Mariners.
I'll be rooting for the Tigers if the Mariners don't advance.
So, oh, my goodness.
Mariners win three to two.
And they have evened the American League Division series at a game, a piece.
My name is Chris Crawford.
Anders Hurst will be joining us shortly.
Normally he's hosting this shindig.
He's at the game.
He'll be here in about five to ten minutes.
There's so much to talk about.
There's so much to talk about.
Luis Castillo starts the bullpen usage.
The mostly good bullpen.
The lack of offense outside of three players again.
Wow.
I mean, I'd be remiss if I did not mention that this is the first time the Mariners have won a playoff game in Seattle, Washington since 2001.
The last time they won a playoff game in Seattle, Washington was game five of the 2001 ALDS.
Wow.
That's 24 years, folks.
folks, 24 years.
24 years.
We've been waiting a long time.
And the job's not even close to done.
Oh, my gosh, is it not done?
Oh, boy.
I'm getting that mustache ready, spinning whales.
I promise you.
I don't think I'll shave for a while.
Let's start with the start.
So Luis Castillo did not have his best stuff, nor his best command.
but that's a brick and rock.
There's a reason why his nickname is La Piedra.
It's because he's the rock.
And even on a night where he did not have his best control,
even on a night where he did not have swing and miss stuff,
he battled.
He battled.
And he more than kept you in the game.
My gosh, four and two-thirds innings of scoreless baseball gives up one hit.
and I believe it was the last battery faced.
One hit.
Yeah, he does walk four.
He was just a little off on some pitches today.
But he battled through it.
He battled through it and he held this team scoreless
for four and two-thirds innings.
Is it the 27 Yankee lineup?
No.
But are there some really good players?
Obviously.
Obviously.
That was a huge start.
A huge start.
To be able to get that from your starting pitcher in a situation like that is massive.
And yeah, it would have been nice if he would have been a little more efficient.
What, do you throw 51 pitches in the first two innings?
I thought he might have been done after three or four.
The fact that you were able to get it into the fifth.
Oh, my gosh.
What an effort.
what an absolute battle i've talked about this a lot a lot of times when people say battle what they
really mean is they mean that he wasn't good and just happened to get some results not
battled he battled he kept you in it so you get four and two-thirds inning shutout baseball
he gives up the hit my one issue with the hit too is and
And, you know, this is a long way ago and we have a lot of stuff.
Why?
So the hit comes because of a hit and run.
Why are you not just giving up the steel there?
That's a routine ground ball.
It's a routine ground ball and you get out of it.
But, you know, he does cover second, Polanco.
And that leads to first and third, two outs.
And they go to Gabe Spire and Gabe Spire does what Gabe Spire does.
And I think Gabe Spire is now the second best reliever on this team.
And we'll talk about Brash.
And we'll talk about those guys in a second.
The job Brash did tonight.
Holy crap.
Holy crap.
And, you know, I was thinking about this the other day.
Boy, did they miss that version of Matt Brash last year.
Boy, oh, boy, did they ever.
They got it now.
and he was so good against lefties and righties tonight.
Gets you into that seventh inning.
And the best part is you got a day off tomorrow.
Gabe Spire is going to have to use in every game this series.
Gabe Spire has to be used in every single game this series.
For those of you who are just joining us, once again,
welcome to the Locked-on Sports Postcast for the Seattle Mariners.
My name is Chris Crawford.
We will be joined by Anders Hurst and probably about.
about 10 minutes or so, give or take.
Bizarro, great job.
And, you know, Anders and I talked about this.
For those who don't know, I think I just said it,
but I'll say it again, because I'm just shaking.
We were concerned about how Bizarro looked at the end of the year.
It wasn't great.
It wasn't great.
He gave up runs in like three of the last four appearances.
something like that.
And he hadn't looked great after being used right after throwing two innings.
But Bizarro looked phenomenal these last two games.
Phenomenal.
Phenomenal.
We'll talk more about Matt Brash and stuff when Anders gets in here.
But Will says, insert, it's been 85 years, man.
That's very funny.
That's very funny.
Oh, man.
But.
we can talk about Mooney now.
I didn't want to do this, but I'm going to do it anyway.
There was a guy who was coming in here who clearly had,
there's my buddy, Andrew.
I'm talking about a fun story right now, Andrew.
What's the fun story?
Do you remember the guy who was coming in here who was saying stuff about Andres
Munoz not having the closing thing?
Closing mentality, and you want to just close Matt Frash instead.
Yeah.
And look, this is not a hate-on-Map Brash situation right now.
No, he should have been out of the inning.
Should have been out of the inning.
But Andres Munoz gets it.
Andres Munoz is more than capable of getting the job done.
And he was phenomenal tonight.
Anders Hurst, give us your quick thoughts on the biggest win for the Seattle Mariners in almost a quarter century.
Well, I legally am not allowed to join.
right after the game, but it probably was a good thing because that was pretty emotional.
Oh, I was too, buddy.
Yeah.
So I am so happy to be able to experience this.
I'm happy to just give my broad reaction after I totally agree.
One of the biggest Maryland I've seen in my lifetime,
Julio Rodriguez is carrying this offense in playoffs.
He drove in both fronts yesterday, and I forgot to mention it yesterday's how unfortunate it was
that we wasted a could have been
legendary performance from him yesterday
with his home run
and his clutch
go ahead, single,
and any, I want to say.
But
you can hear the background stuff, I'm sure.
It's just, it's, we're here.
We hear, as they say.
But he more than
backed it up again tonight with just
anyone who was ever questioning
it was a bunch of time.
There's no question.
I get it.
It's only their first one in the postseason.
Sure.
And there's still a lot more to do.
And these guys know that.
But the fact that you were able to do that,
and Jorge Belonco as well,
great to see him.
Oh, my gosh.
Tear the cover off baseball.
He's the reason why you're in this game
in the game.
He's the only one who's doing anything off the school.
So, so many good parts to today.
Dan Wilson learned his lesson.
Like, literally learned his lesson.
Right.
Same exact situation.
Luis Castillo gives up his first hit of the game.
Up comes Carrie Carpenter in the same inning as yesterday that George Kirby was at.
Dan Wilson's like, yeah, no, I'm not doing it again.
I'm going straight to Gabe Spire, getting out of this, and it's exactly what happened.
And honestly, good on him.
We could spend this as a bashing segment thinking about yesterday again, but he learned from his mistake,
and he made the right decision today.
And I think you could question the map rash in the eighth, but honestly, I don't think it's as egregious as a lot of people think.
No.
We could talk about the different options there.
But overall, just engraving it.
And these guys are back in it.
I would have taken one-one.
If you were to offer me one-one before the series started, I would have taken that, especially knowing who are you facing today.
100%.
And here's my one negative Nelly.
It should be too well.
should be too well. It really should be. And that's frustrating because you are just in complete control.
But you know what? A lot of times, Anders, I kind of fight back on the momentum push because I do believe momentum is your next day starter.
Well, guess what? Here's why it matters. Next day starter and the day after is not to rig scuba.
And that matters a hell of a lot. A hell of a lot. Now, look, they couldn't get the job done against Troy Melting.
So it's not just as simple as that, right?
It's not just as as sugar-coded as that can be, but it sure is nice.
It sure is nice.
And gosh, this is big.
There's so much to talk about.
We're going to take a quick commercial break because we want to go over all of the good stuff.
Thank you guys so much for tuning in to the locked on Mariners Post Gas after a Seattle
Mariner playoff victory.

It's all right.
I just don't like not being in control.
No, it's, welcome back to the Mariners Postcast.
Chris Crawford joined by my good buddy Anderson Hurst.
So we've talked about Castillo.
Did you have any quick thoughts on Castillo?
I thought he was just really solid, a really solid four and two-thirds innings.
Yeah, and look, I know I just praised the decision to take him out there in the pit fitting,
but I was a little surprised that Dan did because, again, that was his first hit.
He gave up.
Yeah, I kind of pictured this would be a very Castillo start today in terms of, you know,
the tires aren't going to line up or, I guess, square up as the word I'm looking for.
Sure.
A lot of what he's doing.
He's going to get a lot of fly ball outs, T-Mobile parkouts, so to speak, where he leaves it up
and, you know, the Marine layer catches it a little bit.
And that's exactly what happened today.
I was a little worried when he got like 51 pitchers
through the first two innings,
but then he really settled down in those last three.
And I was able to get the job done.
And like, if you were to tell me,
you get almost five innings of one run base
or zero run baseball at that point.
I would take that every day, every single day.
One hit.
I know he walks the four guys and only gets three strikeouts.
It's not ideal.
But it's all about results at this point.
I don't care about any projections moving.
forward. If you get through your start without allowing a run, that's all I care about.
That's exactly what he did today. He did what he needed to do. And I think if there were questions
about going with Kirby yesterday, I think today was by far, I think most people would agree with
this even before the game. But I think Castillo going game two is absolutely the right decision
for Davis. Oh, a thousand percent. And, you know, this is a lineup that Castillo's had a lot of success
against too and I think that matters as well. Sometimes we can go a little crazy with small
sampled stuff, but there is something about being comfortable, right? There's something about the
fact that he definitely feels comfortable seeing that gray, orange and blue, Andrew's favorite colors
orange and blue put together. For sure. But yeah, very solid efforts. Let's talk about the eighth
inning real quick because, or excuse me, Bizarro gets through it real quick. By the way, the
concerns about Bizarro that we had at the end of season. I
I guess that was still, yeah, because he's been phenomenal over these two games.
He issues to walk.
And, man, does he just miss the strikeout on 2-2?
I'm going to give credit to the Empire.
He made the right call there.
It was not a strike.
It just missed.
But he gives up the free pass.
Then he gets the big strike out of Terry.
I don't want to see Kerry Carpenter hit against Seattle Mariners ever again, ever again,
especially against the right-hander.
like Kerry Bonds is absolutely real and that is what's going on there.
Then he gets a ground ball from Riley Green that looks to me like should be a double play.
And Josh Naylor just flubs it.
And I'm not excusing the pitch after.
I'm not excusing that it's a two-run thing.
That probably should be a double play.
And I'm worried about Josh Naylor.
I'm worried about the health stuff.
And I'm worried about the mental stuff.
to for those who don't know
Josh Naylor's got a kid coming very soon
very very soon and
I'm not blaming him
I want to make that abundantly clear
for putting that as the focus
that should be his focus
but I've seen some lack
of focus Anders and that
concerns me because he's such
an important player for them
I don't want to go too crazy about
criticizing the guy either but that's a massive
mistake in that situation
Massive.
Yeah.
Worst, that's a one-run single. And Brassie's swinging miss stuff shows up for the rest of that outing. So, yeah. Are my crazy for being concerned here? No, not at all. I think, obviously, you know, you have one or two bad games. It's like, okay, whatever.
Of course. You're not going to have a great baseball game, 162 plus now that we're in the postseason.
But you do think about that. And I've been seeing that as at bats lately, too. It's not just the defensive side.
And he's been just, I don't know, as locked in as we've noticed Josh Nader being
the last month of the season, it's just a tick off.
And it's not something where he's just completely out of it and he's just completely zoned
out or anything.
But like when you notice that someone is that, like, dialed in for the entire time,
like you can realize when it's not fully up to that moment.
But the bigger part of that inning is, I believe it was Matt Brash in that point, right,
at the top of the eighth, correct?
Yes.
It's the lead-off walk to Glaber Torres.
Yeah.
You just, you can't.
You cannot walk the hit, and we know what Carrie Carpenter's done,
both against right-handed pitching and against Mariners and in this series.
You just can't let Claver Torres walk like that.
It's the free passes that really bother me, and that's what really concerns me about
Matt Brash moving forward.
I'm curious your thoughts on that.
There was the option to stick with Bizarro.
I know Bizarro still.
he gets through the seventh inning and he pitched,
I can't remember how many pitched he had yesterday,
but I would have almost stuck with Bizarro for Torres
and then gone to someone like Caleb Ferguson for the lefty pocket.
I don't know.
I understand Matt Brash has been your guy in the eighth inning
for the majority of this year,
and he's probably a better pitcher than Caleb Ferguson,
but just looking at the matchups,
that's kind of what you've got to do at this point in the year.
It's that big of a difference with those two guys.
So I don't know how what you think about that.
It's a great question.
It's a great question.
I'm still sticking with Brash, but I totally understand what you're saying.
Like, it's, to me, it's still the stuff is fine.
The two biggest issues that I had in the eighth inning were, number one, the air.
Number one is the walk, the walk.
And even though he was close on that two-two pitch, and I think he maybe lost a little focus there because he was frustrated because he thought it was a strike.
To look now and see, it wasn't.
my biggest issue outside of that walk, and of course the air, which he can't control,
there's nothing he can do about that.
Why are you throwing Spencer Torquson in a fastball?
Just sliders, just sliders down and away.
Don't let that guy beat you, right?
And it's not like Spencer Torkelson's an elite hitter, but you can get him with sliders.
Why fastball up and in?
And the answer is that you're trying to get cute.
You're trying to say he's looking slider.
I'm going to bust them in and watch what we do.
No, man, go with what's best.
Go with what your best pitch is.
And that is his best pitch for sure.
I'll be interested to see how they use them.
I will say this now.
When the Mariners get into a situation,
and let's assume they advance.
When they get into a situation
and they go more traditional 7, 8, 9,
I think right now 7 might be brash,
8 might be spire, 9 might be Munoz.
And that's more compliment
to spire than insult to anybody else. Let's keep that clear. It's not like Matt Brash has been
this disaster. He's just harder to trust because he relies so much, so much on swing and miss.
And if he doesn't have that command, it can be really bad. We got to talk about, please.
Yeah, just really quick on the whole bullpen situation. It's worth pointing out that I actually
looked at Matt Brasch's splits thinking that he was better, like almost like way better against
right-handed batters. He's actually better against lefties. And it's, it's weird.
because so maybe that was part of the thinking with him in that part of the lineup.
So like I said, at the top, I don't necessarily hate it.
I don't think it was an awful decision.
It's not as egregious as I think yesterday's was.
But it definitely was like thinking like, oh, maybe this is a pocket where you don't want to walk the leadoff guy.
And that's the, you're going to say walk the lead off hitter, oh, let's not have it be Matt Brash, right?
Yes.
So it's just one of those situations where you kind of got to pick your poise a little bit.
Plus, in your point about Gabe Spire moving forward, if they were to move on,
it's going to look a lot different because I think almost the rest of the teams that are available
don't have as many left-handed batters that are as dangerous as Detroit does.
That's why I think this is honestly a pretty tough matchup for the Mariners.
Yeah, sure.
So I totally agree with you.
And not that I don't trust Spire versus Wrighties or anything,
but he's the guy right now versus lefties because of that split.
No question about it.
And it's the tier level, right?
It's just the fact that Carpenter and Green is so so much clearly their best hitters that you have to have those lefties for those pockets.
And how much worse they are versus lefties, right?
No question about it. Yeah, they are true platoon bats at this stage of their career.
I think Riley Green might be fine at some point.
This is not the Tigers podcast, but Carrie Carpenter is never going to hit lefties.
That's just not ever going to be a thing.
See Luke really only much, much better.
The offense.
Now look, you're facing Tariq Scouble, who is an absolute wagon.
And boy, I have some question marks about why Tariq Scouble is not out there for the eighth inning.
If I'm being keeping it honest, too.
I know 97 pitches is a lot, but I certainly leaving that guy in for one more.
I'm leaving that guy in for one more for sure in part because Kyle Finnegan.
Okay.
Okay.
But straight nights of Finnegan.
The offense was not good for seven and a half innings, except for one guy.
Jorge freaking Polanco, man.
I don't know if I could say enough good things.
And both of those balls are clobbered, clobbered into left field.
Those calls go 450 feet, if not for this stupid Marine layer or whatever the heck it is, man.
But those balls were shellacked.
And what Jorge Polanco has done as a right-hander,
And it's so crazy, Anders, because I keep thinking back to it, how good he's been against Ritey's.
The Mariners had a long stretch where they couldn't use him against lefties because of what was going on with his hip.
Well, hip, hip, Jorge, indeed, because my goodness gracious, where are the Seattle Mariners if they don't bring this guy back?
Well, and that's what I was going to bring up.
Everyone's, you know, singing the praise to Josh Naylor and pay that man, oh, da, da, da, and like, deservedly so.
Like, they need to bring you back.
I don't see any of that Bori-Polonko, and I would almost say he's more important to bring back at this point because of how well he's been playing down the stretch.
His at-bats are just fantastic.
He not only is crushing mistake pitches from guys like Terrick Scoobel, but he's taking his walks.
He has another kind of bloop single later in the day, so he's doing everything right now.
And he actually made a good play at second base as well.
So his defense hasn't been a liability either.
So it's just an awesome game for Jorge Polanco.
I'm so glad he's on this team.
Yeah.
And you know, Greg M points out,
just a reminder that Jorge Polanco was a target of the Astros of the offseason.
The two hottest things I wrote for Roder World several times about Yankees and Astros
targeting this guy as their guy.
And ultimately the Mariners up their offer and they end up.
getting him. And none of you were happy. None of you. And it's okay. It's okay because he was a
disaster last year. He was one of the biggest disappointments. Jesse Winker adjustment of disappointments,
right? Well, he's been anything but a disappointment this year. Outside of one month,
he's been the Mariners second best hitter. Outside of one month. And he's huge. So he gives you that
two-nothing lead. It's why that two-run double ends up not being, I mean, it's a huge deal, but not as big a deal,
because you're up to nothing.
Mariners come back, and again,
I question why Tariq's Gubel's not on the mound,
but it is what it is.
Cow Raleigh just laces that double,
laces that double,
and man, he's looked good.
He gets into second base, and, you know.
Wait, before we get to Julio,
can I mention something real quick?
Please.
I'm sitting along the, what is this,
the right field line right here at the press box,
and I noticed that E.Y, Eric Young Jr., the first base coach for the Seattle Mariners,
is pointing to first base to tell Cal Raleigh to stay there.
There's one out.
Cal Raleigh goes past him, makes sure he gets into second base.
That's huge because it takes away the double play in that moment for Hulu Rodriguez.
And Cal Raleigh, just for good measure, headfirst slide into second base.
Yeah.
And, God, that's such an underrated moment, too.
Yeah.
Because it wasn't like it's way in the corner.
I think is it Carpenter out here?
Yeah, playing right field.
He gets it gets it to cut it off, doesn't let it get past him.
And you didn't really have a play at second base.
But if you're being conservative, you're telling Cal to stay at first base there.
Awesome decision on his part to make sure he gets into second to take away the double play there.
And leave it open for Julio to do what he did right after that.
Right.
Yeah, no.
And, you know, I, you know, I didn't think.
about it until right now.
A.J. Hinch is not an intentional
walk guy.
Probably would have been a good situation there for the
IP or the IW, excuse me, because
oh, Julio has just been
and again, locked in is not something I usually go with
either. Oh, is he locked in?
He's been locked on, Chris. It's locked on. He's locked on.
He's locked on patent pending all that stuff.
He just laces that double.
And guys,
Numbers are numbers, and some of Julio's numbers in clutch situations aren't great.
Lots of really good players in clutch situations.
You know why?
You're facing really good relief pitchers in those situations,
and most of the time those guys get the job done.
And there's the other thing I notice.
You can tell how good the other team thinks your hitter is by how often a new pitcher comes in.
It comes in to face you.
No doubt about it.
It happens all the time with Cal happens all the time with Julio.
Yep.
It's a great point because you want to give them a fresh look.
you want to give him that your best option against our best option.
What I just want to say is it's pretty obvious that Julio Roderig is no moment gets too big for him.
If there's anything with Julio Roderring is, it's that maybe he puts a little too much pressure on himself sometimes, right?
Sometimes.
That's just clutch a hit as the Seattle Mariners have had in a long, freaking time.
A long, long, long time.
And for him to lace that double, and that's the thing, too.
Cal Raleigh's not scoring from first base on that.
Nope.
Nope.
In fact, I would even say this because you have a third catcher.
If he's not on second base, you're probably pitch running for him in that situation.
So maybe Leo Rivas score.
I always want to call him Luis Urias.
Leo Rivas.
Maybe he scores in that situation.
Maybe he doesn't.
But the Mariners do jack crap after that hit.
So thank God Cal is on second base.
Thank God for that hustle.
That's what superstars do.
That's what superstars do.
Joey DeLuca, what's going on, buddy?
I've known Joey DeLuca since I was like seven years old.
Hey, how's it going, but thanks for coming in.
Sorry, some names just distract you.
And Joey DeLuca, little old Italian buddy.
That's what superstars do.
That's what Superstars do.
It's worth pointing out that yesterday.
too. Like, again, we would have been saying the same thing if yesterday had gone better because of how well he played. And it's not the home run yesterday that really gets me. It's his approach in these big moments. He's not trying to swing out of his shoes, which we're seeing from Eugenio Suarez right now as well. Josh Nehler, you could say that about, you saw it from Domcan's own yesterday. But the fact that he's just like, I just need to get it in the outfield. You saw it yesterday in the big moment of the eighth inning. He did it again today. He knows exactly what he needs. And he has such good.
contact skills. Chris, you've mentioned it throughout the entirety of this year.
And when everyone was concerned that he wasn't driving the baseball, I've owned the process
and everything, this is why it's so important to have that skill. Because when you need a base
hit, it doesn't matter how it happens, you know he's going to come through. And he absolutely did
tonight. Can I tell you something that scared the crap out of me? What was? Because that,
I mean, he clobbered it. He hit it super hard. I thought he might have hit it a little too low.
and I was so scared the third baseman was going to leave me at that play.
And, you know, you had a much better angle than I did.
But like, I was like, oh, my gosh, if he makes the sleeping play, I am, I'm not, I'm not going life.
I'm not going to life.
What did they mean?
Solo.
Andrews can do it sold on a little bit.
Dude, that's just, that is.
And trying to say things that I hope a lot of you are realizing how good this guy is.
and how special this guy is as not just a player as a person.
Because did you see his reaction at second base, Anders, after that hit?
Yes. Oh, yes.
All of us in the top row here at the press box, we're having a similar reaction.
He wasn't celebrating because he did something.
He's celebrating because he did something special for his team.
For the team.
You can tell.
Look at the excitement on Julio's face when he's handing that tried into Jorge Palagher.
That is the consummate teammate.
who deserves to be treated like a gosh damn superstar and for whatever reason just hasn't been
in this town. But I don't want to forget about big dumpers double. That's massive. That is such a
massive hit. And the hustle and somebody said he was literally hauling ass. Yes, that dumper was
left right, left right, left right, left right. Them cheeks were going. Oh, this is such a huge win.
Now, it's 1-1.
You have tomorrow off.
You have Logan Gilbert on the mound against, I think it's Casey Mize.
Have they announced that yet?
It is Casey Mize, yes.
So the Tigers had zero trust in Casey Mize in game two of the Wild Card Round.
I'll be really curious to see what sort of leash you have.
With Logan Gilbert, he's got to have a long leash.
You have to because he's Logan Gilbert.
Oh, somebody's pointing out is Jack Flaherty.
It is Jack Flaherty.
I was looking at the next day.
I apologize.
No, no problem. No problem. I feel better about that because I think Jack Flaherty is not as good a pitcher as Casey Lise.
Now, Flaherty's had some postseason success and all that stuff, but I feel great about these next two.
I feel great. And Ty and Colby will talk more about it. I'm sure they have an episode coming up real soon.
Yeah, look out for that. It's going to be great. We kind of give you the postgame reaction here.
You're live from the stadium. I'm pretty tired. I can't wait to get home. But Ty and Kobe kind of have the more measured reaction is where the
The emotional guys here.
Yeah.
I love it.
I love it.
I love hanging out with you guys.
Raps the game.
700 people in here tonight, which is just awesome.
It's just awesome.
And I'm not surprised because I'm sure everyone wanted to talk about this thing.
But it means a lot to us.
It means a lot.
And it means a lot that because you won tonight,
there's a very good chance we're going to be doing a hell of a lot more of these.
Let's just be honest, guys.
If they don't win tonight, their goose isn't cooked.
It is cooked a jay.
Jason. It is your grandma has the steak at $3.50, and it's going to be charbroiled, and it's not going to smell very good because she doesn't use seasoning.
But you're not there now. You're not there. And you have the pitching advantage and then some over these next two games.
I'll take Bryce Miller over whatever. I have that. Maybe that's just me being an emotional guy.
It is Casey Mize in game four. So Casey Mize and you know what?
Casey Meiss just hasn't looked great over the second half of this year, you know?
And Bryce Miller hasn't been great either, but let's not make this a 45-minute episode.
Let's end it now.
Thank you guys so much for tuning in.
If you haven't hit like yet, please do.

This is huge.
This is huge.
Your Seattle Mariners have a playoff win in the ALDS in the year of our lower 2025.
And I can't be more excited.
We'll talk to you soon.
I'm going to set the outro video this time because I forgot to do it last time.
Nice. That's probably a good idea.
Okay. Bye.
