Starting point is 00:00:04 This is the Mariners Postcast. Your instant game reaction for the Seattle Mariners. Part of the Locked-on Podcast Network, your team every day. Man, what a day. They did it, Chris Crawford. It's not completely done yet, but they absolutely did it. The Mariners win game one of the series against the Colorado Rockies at home, and we are watching these celebrations live here.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Trent Thornton's on his bike scooting around the infield with his boot on. It's so fun. It's so fun to be a fan of a baseball team. And for those of you who see that little mini icon watching on the YouTube, we are now simulcasting for the first time on Sports Radio 93.3KJRFM. Super excited if you're listening on the radio. And if you're watching us and are just glorious faces here on the YouTube channel, really appreciate it. But man, what a day to debut this, huh? Chris Crawford. The Mariners have
Starting point is 00:01:11 officially clinched playoffs in 2025. Let's go. I am so hyped for these guys. Let's get your initial thoughts, Mr. Christopher Crawford. So first of all, I'm super excited to be doing this. I've talked a bunch about how KJR is my dream job and the fact that I'm doing this, you know, that we're doing something like this for these final few games. It's just amazing. And I, I, was ready to let this team have it. I'm not going to lie to you. For eight innings, this team played a horrific baseball game. And I kind of felt like the moment was too big, but there's no moment too big for that guy. There's no moment too big for Josh Naylor. That guy is as clutch, as clutch gets. And just write the blank check. Just write the blank check and
Starting point is 00:01:59 hand it to him and say, you tell us what you're worth, buddy, because what he has done for the Seattle Mariners is just incredible. I thought Bryce Miller was okay. I thought the bullpen after Bizarardo pitched really well, Andres Munoz stuff is just filthy right now. It's nasty. And your magic number is one to win the AOS or going to be one, assuming the Houston Astros, I may have counted my chickens, Lil.
Starting point is 00:02:25 I'm sorry for counting my chickens. There's a very good chance that you're going to be American League West Division champions tomorrow. And fun as making the postseason is, that's the goal. That's what we've wanted for so long. Absolutely. I could not agree with you more. The job is not yet finished yet. Nope. By no means at all. You and I right before we went live, it was almost like this team did not deserve to win this baseball game today.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Absolutely not. But you also saw why the Colorado Rockies are one of the worst teams in baseball. Those leverage arms aren't great. Oh, no. Oh, no. No, in fact, Victor Vodnick is the one guy. And by the way, Victor Vodnick is the most mad scientist, evil Sonic the Hedgehog sound villain I've ever heard in my entire life. But he was through a terrible bitch to Josh Naler in that situation. Yeah. But you got beat by something called a Jaden Hill and a Jimmy Hurgit today.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Yes. You got beat by a McCabe Brown. Oh, boy, did you get beat by a McCade Brown today? Yeah. And yet it doesn't matter because the Colorado Rockies are so bad. and the Seattle Mariners have absolute ice in the veins. And that's all it takes in baseball, guys. You can play such a bad game for seven, eight innings.
Starting point is 00:03:45 And you can have string three good at bats together, four good at bats together like the Mariners did in that eighth inning. And boy, that was as big of a moment for me so far in terms of my mariner fandom, that and the big dumper home run. Those are the two for me that I kind of, I'm putting it on that tier. I honestly am. I realize the big dumper home run in 2022 to end the drought probably has bigger circumstances. Sure.
Starting point is 00:04:11 But I'm feeling like we're going to put these two moments in their own category moving forward. It's one of the biggest hits in Mariner history without question one of the biggest. It's not the biggest. The double is always going to be the biggest day of Seattle Mariner history until they went to World Series. I can't think of many regular season hits bigger than this one, guys, because you know, it does look like the Astros are going to lose. By the way, just for anybody's scoreboard watching, they are up four to one. They have runners on first and second with nobody out.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Who's up? Athletics are, correct? The athletics are leading the Astros, four to one, eighth inning, bottom of that inning, first and second, nobody out with the athletics having the runners on first and second. So things are looking very good there. So the loss wouldn't have been as catastrophic, you know, but it would have been bad. And let's make this abundantly clear, too, especially for those of us who are new on KJR. And again, we're super excited about this. Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:09 We are a daily recap show. We only talk about today's day. The winning 14 out of 15 wouldn't have mattered today. It would not have mattered whatsoever. It would have mattered to the Mariners because you put yourself into position where you can't have a crappy game like this and not be in as bad as situation. But today was bad for seven and two thirds innings. Seven and two thirds innings, the Seattle Mariners were not a very good baseball team,
Starting point is 00:05:32 particularly offensively, and it doesn't matter because you get one of the biggest regular season hits in Seattle Mariner history. Darning with Faint Praise, maybe a little bit, but it still counts. Yeah, and more Mariner fans here. If you're new listening here on KJR on YouTube, you can catch us on YouTube if you want to watch us as well. But if you're kind of driving around and you need some content, you can listen to us on KGR as well for the rest of this week at least. So really appreciate everything that's happening there. Chris, what we normally do, again, if you're just tuning in, we're a daily recap shows, the Mariners Postcast, Anderson Hearst, Christopher Crawford with you.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Our kind of three segments, if you will, are usually number one. We start with the start because I think every baseball game starts with your starting pitching performance. So we start with the start. We talk about the offense in the second segment and then the third segment. And we always do an unsung hero or unsung villain. So let's start with that start, Mr. Bryce Miller today. I was a little worry coming into today because, you know, I think the Rockies weakness is definitely their pitching.
Starting point is 00:06:38 They do have some guys that can sometimes hurt you a little bit. Hunter Goodman's had a good year. Breton Doyle's a talented player. Same with Ezekiel Tovar as well. I just, Bryce Miller was good. I don't want to say he was great or he was dominant or anything like that. But how did you evaluate Mr. Bryce Miller's outing today? Meh. Just kind of a meh outing.
Starting point is 00:07:01 And he was probably a little better than the box score indicates, but not much. Not much. I thought that he kind of had issues putting hitters away today. There were a lot of two strikes. There were some times where that fastball had the necessary carry at the top of the zone and he was getting those swings and misses. Not enough. Not enough. And, you know, the first run that scores, I'll be honest.
Starting point is 00:07:25 If you have a little bit better middle infield, maybe you're knocking that ball down. Or they're a runner on third so the run scores, right? So even just knock down isn't enough. But better middle infield, maybe you get that out there. That was disappointing. The double wasn't exactly shellacked either that put the runner on to second base there. Dan Wilson leaving Bryce Miller in to face Jordan Beck is, I think, one of the unsung bad moments from this game.
Starting point is 00:07:54 because you should have gone to Bizarro there. And even if, even if Tovar gets a hit, I feel so confident Bizarro getting Jordan Beck out there. I really did not like the decision to leave Miller in for as long as he did. And that's the biggest complaint I have about Bryce, or excuse me, Dan Wilson is there might be just a little too much optimism with the starters right now.
Starting point is 00:08:16 Just a little too much, I want to see you push through that. Now's not the time that you can do that. Now is the time where you've got to go to that bullpen that is pitched. so dang well. Overall, though, pretty mediocre start. I'll call him Bryce Miller. Mepler for this one. I like that.
Starting point is 00:08:34 And for those of you who are just listening to us, we have a nice little kind of a bug on the side of our screen where we give you a quick rundown, and Chris likes to be very creative with... Creatives one way to put it. Chris just likes puns. He talks to a third person, and he loves puns. Yes, Chris for Crawford, Anderson, Hurst with you,
Starting point is 00:08:53 with your Mariners Postcast. We go live after every single Mariner baseball game. Come check us out. If you're looking for more Mariners content, you can check out the Locked-on Mariner's podcast. Ty Dengenzal's, Colby Pat, note, have you guys covered daily throughout not just the baseball season, the off-season as well, Monday through Friday. And they kind of take a little 30,000-foot view of the Mariners, kind of bigger picture stuff, you know, what's going on, prospects, all that jazz. It's Chris and I's job just to break down the game that we just watched. And Chris, we're breaking down a game where the Mariners just clinched going to the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:09:26 And they are spraying the champagne right now live in the Mariners Clubhouse. It is fun to watch. Guys, if I look distracted, I'm looking at the screen. So I apologize. I got to be honest, taking a look at the way they have this set up, it looks like a different kind of club that's across from the Seattle parking lot. If you know what I'm talking about. Yes, it's exactly what I guess they've made their own champagne room for this one.
Starting point is 00:09:49 But hey, I'm not judging. No. I'm not judging. Everybody likes to do what they got to do. Exactly. Man, it's so great. And again, the ultimate goal is to win the division. And they're going to win the division.
Starting point is 00:10:05 And that's going to be a celebration that is going to be phenomenal. It's going to be phenomenal to watch this team win that division. Making the postseason is a brick-frikin deal, guys. You've done it twice since 2001. twice. So it's okay for you to be celebrating here. It's okay to acknowledge that it is a big deal that the Seattle Mariners are going to play beyond September. Ultimately, they have not accomplished the ultimate goal. And because they've played so well, the new ultimate goal has changed. Just getting to the ALDS ain't going to be enough. Just getting to the ALCS isn't going to make me happy
Starting point is 00:10:44 now. I believe the Seattle Mariners can win it all. And this is the first step. You've got to get in. for that to happen. And now, the next goal, win tomorrow, win the AOL West. Goal after that, obviously becomes much deeper. Yeah. And, you know, we're taking it one step at a time here. The first step, of course, as you just pointed out, is going to put. Athletics, by the way. I'm sorry to interrupt. No, please do. At the end of the eighth inning. So the Houston Astros are down to their final three outs in this game. And scenarios wise, if the Houston Astros lose this game, which again, athletics are up 5 to 1 in the bottom of the eighth inning, you said.
Starting point is 00:11:24 That means the Mariners magic number to win the AOL West is now one game. They can win it, win the AOL West with a win tomorrow against the Colorado Rockies or even another Astros loss, to be honest. So either one of those things can happen if this scenario continues to play out. And the Mariners will be your AL West champions. We'll take a quick break. Give some love to our sponsors for the show. Then we'll talk about the offense.
Starting point is 00:11:48 some, I mean, we're going to talk about the game. We're going to talk about the negative parts of the game because, boy, the majority of this game was negative. But then we'll get back to kind of celebrating a little bit because we know that's what you guys want to be doing right now, just like the players are in the clubhouse and the coaches and everything. Let's do it with them a little bit. We'll be right back here on the Mariners Postcast.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Thanks for listening. The NFL season is here in Fandul's making sure you're ready for kickoff with a can't miss offer. Right now, new customers can bet just $5. Starting point is 00:14:45 That's Nutraful.com promo code Locked on MLB. Welcome back to the Mariners Postcast, Anderson Hurst, Chris Crawford. with you. Let's talk about the Mariners win as we are still in awe of the celebrations at Team Mobile Park and in the Mariners Clubhouse. Really appreciate anyone who's tuning into us brand new first time.
Starting point is 00:15:11 We have a bunch of you guys in the chat with us. A bunch of you guys listening on the radio as well on Sports Radio KJR. However you're consuming us today, we really appreciate hanging out. The Mariners win this one four to three over the Colorado Rockies to punch their ticket to the MLB postseason.
Starting point is 00:15:29 And Chris, I have a pretty good feeling based on statistics that that is not going to be the only thing they're celebrating in the next couple days. So supposedly I'm watching these. It was supposed to be muted today because they're expecting to have the big celebrations be for the AL West Crown. But I don't see much muted about what's going on right now. I don't see much muted it either. And I'm going to be curious to see what type of maybe hangings.
Starting point is 00:15:56 over lineup that you get into the game tomorrow. There are some guys who are living it up. It's official. The Astros just lost. The Seattle Mariners magic number is now one. To win the AOS, your Seattle Mariners need
Starting point is 00:16:12 one thing to go right. Awesome. Yeah. Let's talk, but we've done mostly celebrating for now. Let's talk about the first three quarters of this game, four fifths of this game. That was bad.
Starting point is 00:16:29 Mostly offensively, Bryce Miller did his job. He did exactly what you needed him to do today to win the baseball game. But the offense, man, offense and defense, I'll just say position players in general. They were not very good today. You mentioned something right before we went live, and I just, I kind of want to let you lead into it. But did you see like a come down from the Astros series? Did you see a team that was, you know, focused on maybe celebrating after the game for most of this game today.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Obviously, guys, we're not trying to pin this as a bad thing or anything like that. It doesn't matter. We're not putting anything in the interior, guys. Right. Right. But we're trying to put it in perspective. What do you think led to the kind of slower start or just kind of lethargic feel to the first part of this game? So what I'm watching right now, these guys celebrating deservedly so, kind of backs up what I thought,
Starting point is 00:17:25 which was that this meant to. a lot to them to make the postseason. And I think they pressed. I think they pressed today. I think there was some nerves, some guys playing on edge. And it's totally understandable. The Mariners are just completed the biggest road trip in the modern era. Well, this is the biggest home stand in the modern area. You have to win this division. You cannot let this not happen now. And I thought they pressed. And it was interesting to see some guys that you wouldn't think of as pressing press today. Let me also say something real quick. And I have to have. to say it probably a hundred times this year.
Starting point is 00:17:59 The umpiring stunk. It was an awful strike zone today. Awful, awful, awful. And a bunch of guys were, for lack of a better term, screwed because of it. Randy Rose Arena, um, Gino Suarez, a few guys that did not get calls that they should have gotten today. Um, but that doesn't like mean that they were good offensively. They, they swung and missed at some pitches down the middle of the plate.
Starting point is 00:18:23 They swung and missed at pitches outside of the strike zone. I'll give a little credit to McCabe Brown. That guy's swinging his stuff is readily apparent. That guy's command is awful. He came in today with a walk rate of 14%, which is just absolute oof-m-goof territory. The offense pressed today. It pressed, but there was one guy.
Starting point is 00:18:44 And it's kind of interesting because Josh Naylor's very first at bat was awful. You have runners on first and second. You just had walked Julio. You had hit Cal Rale. He swings at the first. pitch and he fouls it off. Then he takes a ball down the middle of the plate and it's a little weak ground ball for a double play. And then I was like, oh, that's not a great way to open this thing, is it? Yeah. It's not how you start. It's not how you start. Oh, we're going to hear Pete Carroll now.
Starting point is 00:19:12 Can you win the game in the first inning? No, I have seen the Seattle Mariners win games this year in the first and second quarter. In fact, I would argue they won every game against the Astros in Houston second quarter. Yes, absolutely they did. But I just think there was some pressing today and some guys that you normally don't see press pressed. Now let's see how relaxed they play. Let's also see if they are able to even walk after this one because they are getting drenched. Absolutely drenched by boy, oh boy. Yeah, that offense was pretty rough pumpkins for seven in a third innings.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Yeah, I think I would, I put it out on social media and I got a decent amount of pushback on this. Some people agreed. Yeah, it's just the way it is. I don't know. Yeah. To me, it looked like a team. And they even, I remember they, on Josh Nader's first at bat, when he had first and second, it was Julio and Cal or something like that. And Josh Nader comes up to bat in the first inning. And they were talking about, okay, so what are the celebration is going to be like tonight on the broadcast? And I think Angie Menting brought up that like, Nailer was like, yeah, we're celebrating hard tonight. We're celebrating hard the next day after we win the division. And I was like, hmm, okay. So I was expecting after the Houston series,
Starting point is 00:20:29 all of the fans in the town of Mariner fandom, I should say, I put it in one category, have been kind of, it's almost a foregone conclusion that they at least win the Rocky series, if not sweep the Rockies in these first three games. So I was kind of, I was trusting that that wouldn't be the mentality of these players, right, to where they take it gay by game and you got every baseball team you're playing is a major league baseball team. It's debatable with the team that you're playing against in this series. But it's
Starting point is 00:21:00 there's still a major league baseball team. But to me, at the beginning part of this game at least, and I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I'm not saying any other team would have been better at this. No. I saw a team that was kind of looking ahead to the celebrations a little bit because everything outside of your control
Starting point is 00:21:17 went your way tonight. The Yankees won in their walk-off fashion against the White Sox. Right. Now the Astros lost, the Tigers lost, everything that you needed to happen, happened. And I saw a team that was maybe looking forward to that a little too much, maybe overlooking their opponent. I don't know. So I just evaluate how my thought process was.
Starting point is 00:21:37 No, I think that it's totally fair. And that's the thing. Hell, how many times have we said this now, Anders, where we aren't in this locker room, we aren't noticing. This is the closest we've been to being in this locker room right now. And we're playing it live on route. Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:52 So we don't know what's in their heads. We don't know what exactly they're thinking. There's some guys that I just can't picture celebrating ahead of time. Like, Cali Raleigh was really bad today, really bad today. And I think that was more of a case of him pressing. Julio got on twice but swung through some pitches that he normally shallax. He was not good today. I don't think I could say enough negative things about Jorge Polanco and a.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Oh, Hano Suarez today. And thank God it doesn't matter. Thank God it does not matter. because of that clutch moment from Josh Naylor. So my personal opinion was more that they were more clenched. Sure. You know what I mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:31 I mean, again, we won't know, right? No, I hope we never do. I don't want to hear anyone. Yeah, I thought we were just going to win. So we didn't, we just didn't get that up. Oh, man. Well, it doesn't matter because they end up coming out with a win anyway. Yes.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Yeah, exactly. That's the ultimate thing is that you ultimately get, you know, getting wins where you are lucky is a heck. of a lot better than the vice versa, where you're the much better team and you end up losing, right? Obviously, the merits are the much better team on paper. It's not even close. The Rockies are now 71 games under 500, okay? 71 games under 500. So was that part of the reason why I was a little ticked off for the first seven and a half innings? You bet your sweet, you know what I'm going to say. It's just, it's just phenomenal that you get a win like this.
Starting point is 00:23:23 It's phenomenal that process lost to result. Results ultimately what matters here. So process usually gets you to result. It didn't today. Who the hell cares? It doesn't matter. You get the result. That's all that matters.
Starting point is 00:23:37 And honestly, that's what the rest of the season is going to be about. I don't care if the process looks good or anything like that up until this point. Oh, God. on our chat on the YouTube broadcast, if you're watching, you will see it, but I'm going to mention it for our listeners. Ian M says, get Casey Lawrence to T-Mobile Park, A-STAP. He deserves it just as much as these other guys do. Come on.
Starting point is 00:23:58 The taxi squad guy, let's go. Oh, yeah. I want to switch gears a little bit to talk defense because not only was the offense a little iffy today. We saw some concerning things from the defensive side of the ball. You could put out the entire infield. Eugenio Suarez
Starting point is 00:24:18 had a bad error. J.P. Crawford looked iffy. I mean, I'm not going to, I mean, O'Hre Blanc quite a bad throw, but he's being asked to do way too much at the second base position right now, I think, because of how limited your shortstop is right now. So how concerning
Starting point is 00:24:34 is that middle infield for you moving forward as these games become more and more important. It's my number one concern. My number one concern is the defensive range that the Seattle Mariners currently occupy, right?
Starting point is 00:24:51 Because they just don't have those guys who make the spectacular play. They don't. They normally make the plays that are hit right in front of them. Then that's good. That is a part of defense to not make errors.
Starting point is 00:25:04 But the ultimate goal of your defense is to prevent run. And a great way to prevent runs is to make sure that you create situations where you take away hits. The Seattle Mariners have done a really poor job of that infield. Infieldly, is that a phrase? Yeah, sure. Why not? Let's go.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Enfieldly. But today, and I'll be honest with you, man, and this is where I really thought that Gino was pressing today. Yeah. When he made that air and just didn't look like he was very happy. about it and not in a oh i'm so mad at myself in a i want to be anywhere else right now there was a look on gino's face that suggested that today which is why i think the wind today might be so big because it does kind of alleviate some of that right yes especially now that they're taking a look at the astros who are just so cooked it is so cooked it is your grandma the astros are
Starting point is 00:26:02 Detroit like your your grandma made steak tonight it is well done she's going to try to put ketchup on it to make it taste okay and it's still going to be just gross they're done who's more cook between the tigers and the astros yes yes is the answer to that question yeah uh so the path is just it's the door is opening even wider for the mariners to not only win the division but get that two seed which by the way is down to two so we we talked that it's it's one game to get the AO West. It is now two games total between the Mariners winning and Detroit losing to get that first round by and the number two seed, which I think is massive for this team. So I'm curious, Anders, though, what if Cleveland wins and the Mariners win? They would be 89.
Starting point is 00:26:47 I think it's, I think it's two either way. This. Yes, because the Mariners have the tiebreaker against the Cleveland Guardians. Yeah. So really that magic number is, it's two. You still need one of those teams. But But in a way, it's one similar to the way that, and by the way, just real quick, I talked about this on Maliwap Monday. So much credit to Alex Meyer for being the only person who knew that the Seattle Mariner's magic number was one, only person in the entire world. Not one person brought it up. And then all of a sudden, Alex Meyer's like, I am a genius. I know how this is going to go. The magic number is one. Holy crap. That guy is phenomenal. It's kind of like
Starting point is 00:27:25 that because Cleveland and Detroit, one of them is going to cannibalize the other. There are no ties to baseball. So one of those two teams is going to, so you need to win one of these next two games, and you are going to be the number two seed. And that's freaking awesome. And then you don't even have to worry about the Dodgers series, right? That would be the ultimate goal for me is to make, and to make that in series not, I mean, not matter, obviously.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Because there could be a world where you go for the one seed too, but I don't know. Do you care about that? I was just going to say, I don't even really care about that at this point. I don't want the one seat. I don't want to play Toronto. I don't want to play New York. I would just much rather play either as, and you know what? The fact Cleveland keeps winning makes me want to play them even gosh damn more because
Starting point is 00:28:10 no team is due for regression like that team. Yeah, especially just how they're doing it too with zero offense. So eventually it's going to come back to bite them. But if you're listening for the first time, welcome. Appreciate everyone hanging out with us. It's the Locked on Mariners Postcast. Anderson Hearst, Christopher Crawford with you. If you're listening to us on KJR for our inaugural KJR broadcast, welcome.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Appreciate everyone. It's a dream come true for both of us. We've been trying to make this work for a while, and we're so glad to make it work for here for the stretch run as the Mariners inch their way closer towards that AL West Crown. One more game is all that is left as they win this one, four to three over the Colorado Rockies. Really appreciate all of you guys.
Starting point is 00:28:55 You mentioned your unsung hero. I'm going to give, or an unsung moment, you should say. Can I do it real quick? Unsung Hero, just real quick. Yeah, please go ahead. I was just going to ask. My unsung hero,
Starting point is 00:29:05 it was almost Dom Kanzone, because it's easy to forget that home run. You felt a lot better when you get the one one. But I'll go with Gabe Spire. I'll go with Gabe Spire throwing that clean inning, or not clean any, he gives up a hit, but keeping you in the game,
Starting point is 00:29:18 making sure that it remained a two-run game and making that double matter. Yeah, I was, going to say the Dom can's own home run for my unsung hero, so I'm glad you brought that up. And no, it's fine. It's perfect. We're on the same wavelength a lot of the times
Starting point is 00:29:34 so that ends up being great minds think alike, as they say. But I think you're right. People forget how big of a moment that was at that time. People were hyped in Team Mobile Park when that home run left the park. It was like, okay, we finally tied up against the bad Rockies.
Starting point is 00:29:51 We're going to go on and win this game. It didn't end up becoming that. But It ended up being just a fantastic comeback effort that you didn't think you would need. But it almost makes it sweeter because that's how it happened. Isn't it Chris Crawford? Amen. Amen. And now tomorrow you get Luis Castillo, I believe, against Tanner Gordon.
Starting point is 00:30:13 Tanner Gordon. Yes. Oh, my God. If they struggle against Tanner Gordon, I don't care how drunk they are. They should still sport five runs in this game. So man, oh man, what a, what a, what a, what a fun feeling it is to guarantee postseason baseball. It's, it's, and that's what the, go ahead. No, I was just going to say, that is what ultimately this is all about.
Starting point is 00:30:38 All of this is about getting into October. You have bigger goals. You have bigger aspirations. I want a banner that actually matters. I don't want to see participation trophies in T-Mobile Park ever again. I want that AOL West championship and then I want another one too. I'm with you. I'm with you. And that's exactly what the Mariners did today. They took the first step in that direction with clenching a postseason birth. They have a chance to go win the ALS tomorrow and possibly even get the number two seed tomorrow if things really go their way. But they're well on their way to doing everything we had hoped for them to do in this regular season as we inch closer to playoff time. And we now know that the Mariners will be a part of that MLV post. season. It feels like a weight's been lifted off of us a little bit because I realized the drought in
Starting point is 00:31:28 2022 was was definitely like, come on. We need this now. But these last couple years were bad too. It was almost like this team deserved to be in the playoffs. They were good enough to be in the playoffs. For whatever reason, it didn't happen, whether you just struggled down the stretch. Other teams became good at the right time. And it seems like everything is finally starting to fall into the direction of the Mariners this time. And I really hope that turns into something. If you're new, please listen to us again. Same time tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Hopefully same time tomorrow. It depends on when the game finishes, as we always say. But this is the Locked-on Mariners podcast, Anderson, hers, Chris Crawford, with you. If you need more Mariners content, you can check out Locked on Mariners, the podcast. They will have a tie Dan Gonzalez and Colby Patnaud. We'll have a new episode coming out tomorrow during the day. And then myself and Chris Crawford will be right back with you guys tomorrow right after the game as we have been all season long, and we will be going forward as well.
Starting point is 00:32:28 So we'll talk to you then. As I always say, Chris Crawford, what are your last words for today's episode? Let's go.
