This is the Mariners Postcast.
Your instant game reaction for the Seattle Mariners.
Part of the Locked-on Podcast Network, your team every day.
Who are these Mariners?
I don't know.
Who are these Mariners?
I don't know.
What did we just watch in this past week?
I don't know.
Wow.
That is a massive sweep for your Seattle Mariners in so many ways.
Yeah.
You go, because lesser teams,
would have been, all right, we just won two out of three against the team with the best record in
baseball.
Heading into the All-Star break, let's just count our chickens, be ready to go.
And kind of folded that last game of the series.
But no, the Mariners multiple times kind of behind the eight ball could have easily just like,
yeah, we'll ride this one out.
We still got the series win.
But no, they do not.
They do not do that.
And this offense looks legit right now.
when you have Randy doing what he's doing,
when you have Julio playing an MVP form,
and Cal still somehow, even though it seems like he's cold,
he's getting on base like three times a game.
It's just crazy.
I don't know, man.
The pitching still hasn't been elite by any means,
but your offense is just carrying you right now,
and it's great to see.
Honestly, like, it's so great to see.
This is the marriage podcast.
My name's Anderson Hurst.
That's Christopher just to my left.
We're going to talk about Gilbert's start.
Good today. I still have length concerns because that's kind of been his thing this year.
I'm going to ask Chris about that. We're going to talk about this offense, though. It's going to be the main story of the day.
Julio, my God, one of his best games I've ever seen him play. I'm going to be completely honest, just overall.
I know he just hits one home run and he's had multiple times where he hits the two.
But the fact that he walks twice, has the dart thrown from center field to get Glaber at third.
like there's so many different parts of his game that were just on it today.
And we'll do our unsung hero.
I don't see an unsung villain in this one unless you really want to be negative Nelly,
but I'm feeling positive right now.
So Chris Crawford, initial thoughts on the Mariners sweep of the Detroit Tigers.
I liked it.
I thought it was pretty fun.
I thought this was pretty fun.
What's interesting is in a game like this, and by the way,
I think the final score is a little misleading.
I thought this was probably the best overall baseball game that I've seen,
the Seattle Mariners and another team play.
Like this was a thrilling postseason adjacent game.
You know, it had that vibe.
And, you know, part of that is because the Tigers really trying to avoid that sweep there
and manage that game like they were trying to, you know, avoid it.
Most everybody's trying to avoid a win.
But you guys know what I mean.
There was a sense of urgency there, and that's what's so cool about winning that game,
is that the team with the best record in the American League had a sense of urgency.
You had just won two straight, and you still come out on top.
I thought Logan Gilbert was fantastic today.
I thought the offense had some really good moments.
There were also two moments in this game that I've talked about.
I haven't had the remote throw yet.
Oh, that we were ever so close to the remote throw.
on two moments today.
But still, coming out of this with the win,
heading into the All-Star break with momentum, blah, blah, blah.
I'm not sure how real that is or not.
But you see the ceiling of this team.
The ceiling of this team is good.
Yes.
I don't know what the floor of this team is.
And you know who knows what the floor of this team is?
Absolutely freaking nobody has any idea what the floor of this thing.
Not Dan Wilson, not Jerry Depoto, not Justin Hollander.
They have no idea.
Nope.
Not Julio, not Big Dumpur, not.
the starting rotation nobody they know none of them have an idea what the floor of this team is but you see
the ceiling when you sweep teams in their home park that are playing as well as they were coming into it
you have a high ceiling and that's pretty cool yeah i'm i'm totally with you there i think this team
borderline if it's playing if it's firing on all cylinders if you're getting the julio that you have
right now if you have calvin the whole first half the season randy randy somehow is flying under the
radar man. But he just keeps
having clutch AB after
clutch AB. So fun
to watch. When you have two of
those three guys playing at their full
capacity, let alone all three of them,
I don't know, man. I
know we just got swept by the Yankees.
Sure. But like
you said, that's kind of a misleading sweep.
I think it is too. We're the
better team in the third game at least.
And for the large
majority of it in the first game as well,
I don't know. And
when this team's at their ceiling,
I don't know if there's any team they can't beat.
I really don't think so.
I just,
I have so much confidence.
And again,
we talked about this with Julio yesterday.
But this is why it's so frustrating
when they go through those stretches
where they don't look like this team
because it's like, guys, we see what you can do.
Come on in it.
Yeah.
And I get it 162 game season,
blah, blah, blah.
That's, you know, consistency is what makes elite baseball players,
elite baseball players.
But I don't.
know the the gap between the top end of the mariners and the bottom end is larger than i think it has
been at least in the last four years yeah you know and i'm glad you brought up randy because let's
you know we always start with the start let's start with the very start of this baseball game
because it started about as poorly as possible in one way and it started out really well in another
mariners load the bases right you get a hit from j p crawford Julio draws a terrific walk
He had two of them today.
A Dumpur draws a walk.
And then Rangelo Rosarina has the worst about I've seen him have as a Seattle Mariner.
He got absolutely worked.
And then Luke Rayleigh lines into a double play.
Julio probably should have gotten back to second on that play.
It was a pretty tough one.
Close, close.
I don't mind him taking a little bit of an extra lead there because if that drops,
it guarantees that second run.
I don't mind some aggressiveness there.
But then the first inning, right?
So you get nothing out of that inning.
And it's very frustrating that you have bases loaded, no out and don't
score. We'll talk about another situation where that happened as well. But then in the bottom of the first
inning, Logan Gilbert strikes out, I forget who is it, Colt Keith on one of the nastiest sliders I've
seen him throw. And then Luke Rayleigh just talk about a bad inning to hit into a double play with
the bases loaded and then makes a horrific air. You see Logan Gilbert has the chance to play in the NBA
someday with that leaping attempt to get up there.
He got pretty high.
He looked pretty good at making that leap.
But then that leads to two runs.
And here's the thing about Gilbert.
The whole reason he doesn't go deep in that game is because of that air.
He had to throw, I think, 33 pitches in the first period,
in the first inning.
And then from that point on, Logan Gilbert was sensational.
He was the ace that you're looking to see.
He gets nine strikeouts, both runs unearned.
I will also say they score two on that play down the line.
And Randy a Rose Arena's defense has been awesome.
And we're going to talk a lot about good stuff Randy Rosarina, too.
You got to get to that ball quicker.
This is the one thing Randy a Rosarina struggles with is balls down the line there.
If it's in the air, he's great at it.
Stuff on the ground, he's sometimes, it's not a lack of hustle.
I just think sometimes the instincts don't kick in.
And that should have been a one run play.
That should have been a one run play, even with them run.
with two outs. But from that point on, I loved what I saw from Logan Gilbert. I, the swing and miss
stuff was so good, nine strikeouts. And five and a third innings of two unearned run baseball against
this Detroit lineup is pretty dang good. I get the frustration with not going deeper. But the whole
reason he doesn't go deep in the game against the Yankees is because of that's build a roof.
The reason he doesn't go deep in the game against the Tigers is because Luke really is a bad
defensive first basement. It's an issue. And you saw Donnie Barrell's, you know, make a nice little play in the first stating,
Luke Riley's got a really hit. And I know he hit the three run homer yesterday, blah, blah, blah.
I thought Logan Gilbert was fantastic. And I think the lack of getting through more innings here isn't really his fault.
Yeah. Okay, that's fair. It just seems like we haven't seen the seven inning of just
dominant stuff from low game where he just goes up and down through the lineup no one can touch him
sort of thing which i get you're not going to get that every single start but i feel like we should
have at least seen it once by now um but you know it's just when you have such high expectations
for your starting pitching yeah you can have these little qualms of like yeah you look good of course
still should have been you know love you to go six at least every single start you know it's just
the way it goes uh but i think you're right that there's a reason why that hasn't happened and it's
you know, it's a first inning thing for whatever reason, it seems like with him a lot.
But no, I mean, let's, I mean, we just kind of started with the start.
Let's get into the story of this game.
It's the offense.
The story of the series.
Like, and honestly, you mentioned this yesterday.
Even the last series against the Yankees, this offense was still pretty dang good.
Yeah.
So for like, I don't even, I don't have to count the runs.
But they score like 35 runs, I think, in this three-game stretch, which is insane.
That is a crazy stat.
You get multiple hits from JP, from Julio, from Randy, and from Cole Young, by the way,
Cole Young, another home run.
That was awesome.
Good to see right after Jorge Polanco comes in.
And you just get contributions from up and down the lineup.
This seems like this is kind of the recipe for success for this offense.
I get you're not going to score 35 runs in a three-run stretch, probably very much.
But just the eye test.
And again, I'm going to point it out when Julio's playing like this, it makes such a big difference.
Huge difference.
So I have a hard out here for the MLB draft.
So let's talk about game time and then let's talk about the offense.
All right.
That sounds good.
I should have given you a warning beforehand, by the way.
No, all good.
I was I was viving with the offense atop.
Let's do it.
Yeah.
We've all been there, logging on early and waiting forever for concert tickets to go on sale.
only to lose your spot for a show you've been dying to see.
Live music should be about making memories,
not dealing with the stress of ticket shopping.
That's where game time comes in.
Game time makes getting concert tickets faster and easier.
Prices actually drop as it gets closer to showtime.
And you can save up to 60% off with their killer last minute deals.
Yeah, I think sometimes we forget there's a lot of sports you can get tickets for,
or lots of non-sports that you get tickets from.
And that's nice to see.
Like you just have game time.
If you want to go see a concert, if you want to go see a MLB game,
if you want to go watch an MLS game, you can find it all at game time.
It's nice to have that convenience.

All right. I know you got it. I get rolling here pretty quick, but just give me your
overall thoughts around this offense performance for today and the series.
That's awesome. It was so awesome to see. And the big thing for me here was, you know,
Julio Apologist coming to go get his collection here. But the big thing for me is not just the
homers. And homering in three straight games is awesome to see the walks.
Yeah.
Two free passes and they're not on like pitches way outside of the zone.
He's laying off some tough pitches, laying off some fastballs at the top of the zone.
He's seeing the baseball really well.
And we saw a semblance of that over those three games where he had the three games with the extra base hits.
The just the results in those other at-bats were not good.
Well, now the at-bats are just good.
The results are just great.
And one of my favorite things about the Julio game today, too, was,
two things. Number one, he just misses that Homer on the pitch before, right? He lines it into
left field. And I think, you know, if you're Jack Flaherty, you're thinking, oh, I got him. I got
him because he's going to be looking there. So do I go outside? Nope. Julio Rodriguez is that
freaking strong and he goes the opposite way for that Homer, right? The second thing is he does
have one bad at bat. Bad result anyway. He works the with a runner on second base because of a horrible
play by Austin Meadows. He strikes out on a pitch down the middle of the plate. He works a three two
count, but it doesn't work out. He doesn't take that at bat with him. The very next to
that he has is a walk that sets up the basis loaded situation for Randy a Rose Arena. And this is my
favorite thing about Julio Rodriguez. He doesn't take it bats with him on defense. And now we're seeing
that he's not taking them with him at the next time. He is saying, hey, I'm good. I have had success in
this league. I know if I stay within myself, my natural talent is capable of beating anyone
else's natural talent. And you saw that in those at bats. That at bat that he had in the eighth
inning, I believe it was to the double. The ninth inning was the double. The eighth inning is the
three path right before. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So good. So good. And this is awesome. If you want to say,
hey, why isn't he like this more often? Go for it. Totally. You're not wrong. Totally. He
is not above criticism, but you cannot, and I know I brought this up yesterday, and I brought it up
the day before, you simply cannot deny that he has the ability to be as good as any player in baseball.
And real quick, let's talk about that throw to third base today.
Yeah.
Oh, my goodness gracious.
Just an absolute seed to third.
Something out of Star Wars.
Yeah.
It really was one of the better throws that I have seen him make, and he's made some good ones.
He should have had a throw that kept the game going in New York as well, if not for a port take.
But I just love what I'm seeing from Randy.
But I love what I saw from a bunch of people.
I'll just give you my unsung hero right now.
Orhey Palacco, man.
Yeah.
Go ahead, Jack.
How about that?
It's easy to forget because you score three more runs afterwards.
Yeah.
But that's a huge moment.
Huge.
By the way, Tommy Kinley had an ERA of 1.77 coming into July.
his ERA was 34 for the month of July coming into today
and he gave up three runs without getting anybody out today.
So I think that he probably needs the all right.
Because that's a good pitcher.
Like one of the best changeups in all of baseball.
But the Mariners had a good approach against it, right?
Like you saw Polanco ready to unleash on that pitch.
Cole Young, I've never seen him hit a baseball that far.
Like that was absolutely mollywept.
And then J.P. Crawford,
Ross that walk. Okay, I know I'm talking a lot, but I want to get these out of the way.
There were two moments today that absolutely crushed me.
So Gabe Spire could have easily been my unsung villain today, very easily, because, yeah,
he gives up the homer to Riley Green. Riley Green's a really good baseball player. I'm not going to
behave on that too much. Who let that runner steal third base in that situation was one of the
worst examples of one of the worst teams at holding runners in all.
all the sport. Like, they're so bad at it. The fact big dumpers throwing percentage isn't like
negative six. It's a testament to how strong his throwing arm is. It was Mitch Garber behind the plate.
Oh, it's Garver behind the plate. That's right. That's right. Well, here's what I'm saying,
though, is that the fact big dumper throws out a lot of people. Yeah. It has nothing to do with the
quick work of the pitchers. I'll tell you that much. Like, the fact he throws anyone out tells you
how strong that dude's canon is. The other moment. So Randy Rose Arena,
gets that double, a terrific piece of hitting.
He is on one right now.
Such a fun player to watch.
But then you get bases loaded, nobody out.
Great decision, by the way, for Negron not to send.
Yes, counter on the Mitch Garver attempt at a sack by.
By the way, good at bad for Mitch Garver, too.
Like, hey, you worked to count.
You got the ball of the outfield, did your job, just wasn't decent.
And shout out to him for that Homer as well.
Yes, exactly.
But doesn't get the run home.
Yeah.
Dom can zone on a will vest who could not find the strike zone whatsoever.
I know the contact was pretty hard at 97 miles per hour.
You can't hit into a double play there.
You just can't.
If you swing at that first pitch,
you had better hit a ball into the gap
or at least a fly ball that's going to score the run, right?
Yes.
That was bad.
And that was a reminder that Dom can zone, who has been great.
Fantastic, almost said the other word there.
since getting called up.
There's still some work to do.
There's still some work to do.
That almost cost him the game, but it didn't.
It didn't because Jorge Polanco.
And I'll give you my unsung hero also real quick.
I'm sorry, I know I'm talking so much.
And someday you're going to get to talk again too, Anders.
My unsung hero is a guy who gave up a run.
But Casey Legamina, doing a fantastic job after coming in for Logan Gilbert
and getting those big two outs.
I thought Casey Legamina did a really nice job today.
That run, he gives up.
Terrific play by Ben Williamson to keep that from being a double, by the way.
I thought Casey Legamina did a really nice job.
Okay, you talk now.
Finally.
Geez, man.
It took you long enough.
What do we got here?
Who had the over for two and a half minutes at once?
Because that went way over.
So much to react to.
Number one, I want to go all the way back to the start of what you were talking about with
Julio.
and the walks being the most important thing because I've said this multiple times and then some players you can kind of like they just walk more it's just who they are and this is when even when Julio was playing well in his first and second year that was something I wanted more from him I wanted him to develop a little bit of patience not be just either get the ball and play or strike out right there has to be some sort of you know waiting for the pitch to come to you a little bit and I just think
because he's walking now,
and it's not like, oh, I just,
I'm fouling off anything that's in the plate,
and then I'm, you know,
taking anything that's borderline,
like hoping for a walk, so to speak.
It's anything that's coming over the plate,
I'm crushing, and anything that's off the plate,
I'm letting go.
It's a process thing, and I think those two things,
him being hot and him walking a lot,
are connected, to be completely honest,
because of what he's doing.
And that's where the results come because your process is so good.
I'm not some hitting expert, but I always connect when a player is walking a lot.
Usually, their results when the ball is in play is better as well.
So that's just such a positive development for me, especially him with someone who tends to be a little bit more aggressive.
When he is in that mode of, all right, you know, I'm good.
I'm confident in what I'm seeing in the strike zone.
you could tell both walks today on ball four.
He was already halfway up the first baseline when the ball before the
ump even made the call because he knew it was a ball.
But then he's crushing any mistake pitches as well.
So that's the perfect combination of you can be aggressive,
but you can't be overly aggressive.
So that's what I love to see from who.
It's assertive.
It's assertive, right?
And it just,
you give pitchers a reason to throw you quality strikes.
Like if you're laying off those pitches and it's huge for big dumper.
Like he's going to get more of a chance to best.
bat with runners in scoring position because you know when Julio gets on base, he's got a great
chance to steal. It's just awesome to see this version. How long will we see this version?
That's the question. And I totally understand those who are skeptical, right? Because there's been a
lot of up and down offensively. Like he's got a 731 OPS this year. That's far from abhorrent.
But it's not what we want. It is not the version of Julio Rodriguez that we want. But this is a reminder
that when he's at his best, he's as good as anybody.
Well, and he's a guy that, similar to fans, honestly, he rides the ups and downs.
When he's playing well, the vibes are immaculate with him.
He does everything better.
He feels better.
He hits better.
Like, when he's feeling himself, he just keeps getting better and better, which is why he
goes on these just offensive explosions like he did in August of 2023 as well.
Quick question.
Do you think the All-Star break is coming at the worst time for Julio Rodriguez?
Or do you think it's actually like, hey, you know what?
You know what you can do now?
Take your rest, figure it out, and then come back and continue this to the second half the season.
I think you could argue both.
I think you can argue what's coming at the best time because he's going into the break with confidence.
And I try not to be patronizing here too.
It's not like, oh, good for you, buddy.
You finally figured it.
This is a guy who's been a top 10 MVP player.
twice as a 22 and 23 year old, okay?
But at the same time, it is nice to have that version.
It's coming at a great time for me, because I don't have to think about anything about
what he'll success right now, right?
Yeah, that's a good point.
And that's the same thing for him probably too.
He's like, oh, that's the last thing he remembers.
But the one thing I will say is whether you believe in momentum or not, it would be nice
to say, hey, let's take this series against Houston right now, right?
Like, let's go.
Let's get this going.
because the way they play, they can beat absolutely anybody.
But that's a really good question.
All right.
Let me just overall offense talk here, just a couple more minutes, I promise.
But when you look at this offense, this lineup right now, the guys that I feel confident in, JP, Julio now, Cal, Randy, Polanco.
Canzone, not to that point just yet, but he's been hot.
Sure.
Uh, even Cole Young, like he's, he's starting to figure it out when you, that's six guys. Yes, it's, it would be nice to have a one through nine where you feel confident in right now. And, you know, the, the, the salons, the garvers, Garber, good game today. Uh, Luke Rayleigh hasn't been great since coming back. There are holes, but in this lineup for sure. But it looks so much better now. And the, the two guys for me that make the biggest difference. Obviously, Julio, we've talked about that multiple times. But it's Randy and Polanco. Yeah. Those.
those two guys, if they're playing to their potential like they are right now, it makes this
offense so much better and so much longer. It makes a massive, massive difference. And now
we're starting to see the vision that those who constructed this roster had when they added
those guys. Absolutely. Yeah. And I still don't think, I know Depoto and Hollander have made trades,
particularly depoto that have not worked out. Of course they have. Especially when you're a volume
trader to be sure, boy.
If he was doing trades on a website that doesn't sponsor us,
he would be paying a lot of fees,
the amount of move that he has made in his career.
I don't think they get enough credit for how good the Randy Rose Arena trade was.
Because look, I like Aden Smith, and I like Bryce Hopkins as well.
Both guys that would be Brody Hopkins, excuse me,
they'd both be guys that you'd love to have in your system right now.
But not giving up top prospects for a player that you had for all of the
run last year, all of this year, and then potentially all of next year, too.
To do that without moving any of your actual top prospects is a stroke of genius.
It was a fantastic trade.
It was a good trade for the race, too.
Brandy and Rose Arena, it was time to move on.
It was time for them to move on.
But that doesn't mean that Seattle didn't benefit greatly from this trade.
And he's been so fun to watch on top of the results.
He's just a fun player to.
watch. And then you look at Polanco, man, and I know the highs are high and the lows are low.
Really low. And, you know, you have to take into account the fact that I will be shocked if he doesn't
have another injured list in before the end of the year because that's just the way he is,
unfortunately. And that's not a criticism of Polanco's mental state or anything like that.
Some dudes. Some players get injured more often.
100%. But when those guys are going and you have that legitimate top five.
legitimate top five that competes with a lot of MLB rosters.
And then you add in the starting rotation.
And then you add in, by the way, Matt Brash and Andres Munoz today.
Fantastic.
I guess a really good lineup.
Really good lineup.
There's reasons for optimism.
And it's why I think this is the most important.
And we say it every year.
But in particular this year, the most important trade deadline in Seattle Mariner history.
Yes.
Because you have to include.
that floor. You see the ceiling. Now you have to support that ceiling, right? You need something to
increase that floor. You probably need a couple of things to increase that floor. By the way,
I had Keith Law on with me on Friday, and he mentioned Cole Young as a potential trade candidate.
How would you feel about trading a Cole Young? I mean, it obviously depends on what you're getting
back. Right. You better get something really good, man. You need someone who's
as a starter now. Oh, yeah, 100%. Yeah, you're not moving him for a potential fringe thing, right?
Like, I think he would be like the type of guy, so I know this is tying Colby's territory.
The Mariners have been connected to Jaron Duran. That would be the type of player I'd consider
Cole Young in a trade for, right? Like that type of the guy who was put together an eight and a half
win season and is pretty darn good in a down year this year. Yeah. That's the type of guy.
But you're not moving him for an ahoenioswares.
You're not moving him for Ryan O'Hern.
You're not moving him for Ryan McMahon or someone along those lines.
No, because I think that's, he's your second basement of the future.
Like, honestly, he really is.
Yeah, the only reason why I think it would be, again,
I'm doing a lot of quotation marks today.
The only reason why I think it would be okay is just because of the depth that you have in the farm system there.
But you have Arroyo and Emerson.
Better be sure that Michael Oroyo,
could be your starting second basement. You better be like really convinced of that, right?
Because Cole Young has shown you that there is a very high floor here, very high floor.
Like this version of Cole Young is workable. This version right now is workable.
And I'm going to, I'm going to piggyback off that. Quick question. First, second, third,
right field. Rank those. Obviously you want to get the best player you possibly can for this lineup.
And those I think are the pretty much four holes that you're working with here.
rank those in terms of which do you think needs the most fits?
Probably first base.
Yeah.
So rank them though.
Yeah, okay, I'll go first base, third base, right field.
But it all depends, right?
Because A. Elhenio Suarez is the guy I want the most.
So that kind of moves third base up, right?
Yeah, yeah.
The job Ben Williamson is doing right now works too,
especially with the way these other guys are playing, right?
you're just getting so little out of first base right now.
Yeah, 100% agree.
And here's the other thing.
The fact that a Josh Naylor is readily available,
the fact that a Ryan O'Hern is readily available,
and some other guys as well should be available by the time we get to the deadline.
I think that adds to it too.
And here's the other thing.
Not a single player we've mentioned,
Sands Duran, is somebody that you have to give up top prospects for.
Just not.
That's not the way it works.
But I know a lot of people really,
want Josh Naylor and I would love it too, but go get both.
Yeah, go get both. Go get both. And heck, you know, maybe.
It costs Harry Ford. I'm good at that, to be honest.
100%. Yeah. I mean, Harry Ford is probably still the best prospect that you're going to move.
By the way, Chelsea wins. This is a wonderful day for everyone involved.
I just think that what you have watched today, and it all ties back to today.
Yes.
Watch today is a concrete example of why you know what your ceiling is.
Yes.
But now you've got to support it with the floor.
100% agree.
That's a great way to end this.
Great way to end the first half.
We have a few days off, obviously.
Yeah, thanks everybody so much for tuning in all this first half, man.
It's been so fun.
And we're excited to continue and give you episodes that are way too long.
Yeah.
And we're supposed to be 10 to 20 minutes.
Here we are, 3010 and counting.
We were 35 yesterday, so it's even better as long as I don't talk for four and a half minutes about stuff.
You got anything that you can talk about for four and a half minutes?
No, because I don't want to get in trouble.
But I'm just excited, like, this is a great note to end this first half on, guys.
I live and die by the Mariners nowadays.
You know, it's the first team I ever loved as a kid.
I, you know, it's just, I would be the most emotional I've ever been for, and I'm a huge Seattle
sports fan all the way across. I cried when Argentina won the 2020 World Cup because of personal
connections there. This would, any sort of playoff run would be so magical for me. And I just,
I really think they have a chance this year. I really think it's looking good. And I realize I'm going
to go up and down and I'm going to say sell the team and everything when they lose. And it's just,
that's what being a fan is. And that's what we're here to do.
do for you guys. We're here to hang out, just vibe with you guys right after each game,
and it's so much fun. I love this community. You guys are awesome. Chris Crawford's my guy.
I really enjoy doing these postcasts with him. And, you know, hopefully we're talking about
continuing this momentum when we get back. First game back on the Houston, or against Houston
is Friday, correct? That's correct. Friday, Saturday, Sunday against those lovable Houston Astros.
Yes. Enjoy the All-Star break, guys. Go have fun. Watch the game. Watch your Mariners. Hopefully
Munoz gets in there. Hopefully Wu gets in there. We'd love to see Randy do the, you know,
and the All-Star game would be so much fun. But we'll talk to you guys again on Friday.
Enjoy the break. I don't know. I mean, obviously you guys are real jobs and stuff.
But it's a little break for us. So we'll talk to you guys then. Last word, Chris.
Go Mariners.
