Starting point is 00:00:00 Tough one tonight. But hey, at least the alumni derby was fun. Colby, hit it. You are Locked-on Mariners. Your daily Seattle Mariners podcast. Part of the Locked-on Podcast Network, your team every day. Oh, Hoy, Sailors. It is Friday, August 7, 2026.
Starting point is 00:00:24 My name is Tadding Azales. I'm joined, as always, by my co-coist. Colby Patnode. The Mariners' 50 season celebration is here, and we're going to tell you who we hope to see make the top 50 players list tomorrow night. We're also going to recap what we saw at the alumni home run derby tonight. But first, we start with, well, more of the same from this 2026 Mariners Ball Club.
Starting point is 00:00:45 They have now been outscored 23 to 5 on this homestand. They didn't score their first and only run of tonight's 2 to 1 loss of the raise until Julio Rodriguez hit a two out home run and the bottom of the ninth inning. they almost got shut out for the third game and four games since the trade deadline since reactivating Brennan Donovan from the injured list since adding Taylor Ward to the fold. Bad, bad, bad, look. And then Dan Wilson gets asked after the game about the ban on the motion tonight at the ballpark and Colby, you and I were both in the park tonight.
Starting point is 00:01:33 we heard a lot of booing. We heard a lot of groaning from the 40,000 some odd people that were in that ballpark tonight. And Dan says something along the lines of, well, the fans have been really supportive of us all year. And, you know, we want to get the offense going as much as they do. And we know we will get it going. And once we do, we know the fans will have our backs or whatever.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Cool, dude. it's August 8th and you are falling well shy of expectations and your offense is getting smoked every single night basically the appropriate response there from Dan Wilson should have been yeah I understand it
Starting point is 00:02:25 we're not playing well enough we need to be better that's not throwing anyone under the bus that's not anything other than the truth. Marrins need to play better. This is not good enough. And this is ultimately my biggest problem, one of the biggest problems that I have with
Starting point is 00:02:44 Dan Wilson. Yeah, I think it is the biggest problem that I have with Dan Wilson because he is just an awful communicator specifically to his fan base. Yeah, you know, it's one of his many flaws, but it's probably his biggest flaw. It's not that he's stupid. You know, it's not
Starting point is 00:03:06 that he doesn't know what's happening. here and all of that. It's just that he doesn't communicate well. And he obviously doesn't trust himself to communicate things well. And that's why he falls in the same three or four cliches every single night they lose. And even last night or yesterday, I guess as we're recording this two days ago, and the final game against Detroit, you know, they got smoked, but Maniacta actually gave real answers. And it was such a change of what we've heard from the manager over the last, you know, year plus that people were like, oh, Maniacta actually did a pretty nice job, even though he just got smoked 11-0-0.
Starting point is 00:03:41 So it's just one of those things where, like, you sound ignorant, you sound arrogant, you sound stupid, or you sound like you don't have a clue when you just, hey, we've scored five runs in four games, you know, we'll figure it out. Like, come on, man. Like, that's not what fans want to hear. You can definitely say, we need to do this better. We need to do this better. hey, we had an opportunity to score in a second inning against a good pitcher and we just had a bad at bat there when we really needed a good one.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Hey, you know, we had a run around first and second with the top of our order coming up and they didn't have very good at bats. And Tampa's, you know, got some really good pitching, but our at bats weren't good enough in those spots. Like we put ourselves in a position where we had to, you know, score multiple runs against one of the best closures in baseball. And we're just not going to do that that often. Nobody is. So, you know, we have to do better job in the first inning in the second inning. We have to, you know, have these better at bats and string them to. together and like it's not hard to say those type of things instead it just sounds like no you know what are you
Starting point is 00:04:41 asking me for like i don't know why the team's not hitting right now it's baseball like yes and no that can't be your answer that can be our answer because that is partially true but when you say it over and over and we're 100 and almost 20 games into this season right now and it's been the most disappointing season and hit the history of the mariners i think it's fair to say uh you know it just comes across is you don't know what you're doing. And so, of course, fans are going to think you don't know what you're doing when you're not giving them reasonable answers. You're not articulating why things are happening or why you think they're happening.
Starting point is 00:05:18 You're not, you're so terrified of saying anything that you're saying nothing at all. And that's way worse than saying something incorrectly and then being able to like, you know, clean it up the next day or follow it up the next day. And so, you know, fans that, yeah, the bullpen stuff is bad. Nobody's disagreeing with you there. But it's the communication to the fan base and to the media. And like it or not, like it or not, fan base and media, you can't keep your job as a manager when you, you know, off those two groups because they're the opinion makers.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Like it or not, those people's opinions do matter. So it's just one of those things where it's like, you know, Dan, great dude. I think we all know that. I think we all understand that. Mariner legend, certainly. But those things don't matter right now because you're not that guy right now. You're something else. You're a guy who just doesn't, your personality doesn't show through.
Starting point is 00:06:12 You don't have much to begin with. But like, this doesn't come off as kindness. This comes off as weakness and ignorance. Like, I don't know what's going on or I don't care, which one is it. So it really is, you know, just kind of, unfortunately, kind of damaging his legacy as a mariner. And, you know, at the end of the day, when enough. of time passes whenever Dan steps away or moves on or maybe wins a World Series next year. Who knows, right?
Starting point is 00:06:38 But, you know, the legacy will be fine. It'll survive and ultimately the good will outweigh the bad. But it's definitely, you know, taking a crowbar to his legacy right now and taking some good swings because he's just not articulate. He's not being honest. So it sucks. It really does. But I don't, honestly, I don't feel bad for Dan because he's put himself in this situation. He's had this job now for almost two full years.
Starting point is 00:07:02 you haven't improved your media available. You haven't improved like your media savvy in those two years. You know, again, like I get it. Sometimes you just have to do that over and over again. And you just have to get better at it, just like anything else. Dan's not getting better at it. You know what? His bullpen management isn't getting any better.
Starting point is 00:07:21 His platoon management isn't getting any better. And this isn't getting any better. So it just seems like you're stagnated. So it sucks, man. It really does. And Dan has been so bad. with his communication skills is that is and is he's so bad that we're talking about him more than we're talking about the team who's actually out there losing these games yeah it's like that's the
Starting point is 00:07:44 unfortunate part and that's part of the gig you know is it fair no but that's part of the gig if you want to be a manager or head coach at professional sports you have to that comes with the territory I'm sorry and so yeah it just it's amazing if he was just honest you know just refreshing and just said what he was thinking instead of trying to hide it and trying to like you know not give anything away i think that his approval rating would go up 20 points you know and so it just it sucks but again the reason the mayor's lost tonight is because they couldn't hit not because dan wilson did anything wrong as a manager no i mean the only reason that we're not really talking about what actually happened on the field is just because it's just more of the same you know same story is just right yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:08:32 It's just like as soon as I go back to the hotel, though, I saw the quote from Dan or I saw the clip that KJR posted of what Dan said in response to that question about the fans. It's just like that, like, dude, like we're just, we're too deep into this now for you to be saying stuff like that. Like it's just, it completely falls on deaf ears, man. And you know, Scott, this was something Scott got a lot better at the more he did this. I don't remember Scott ever being this bad with the media, but like, yeah, it took him a while to kind of find his foot and feel comfortable. And we see this all the time.
Starting point is 00:09:13 I mean, a very successful franchise right across the street. Remember Mike McDonald's first year with the media? Wasn't great. And then he kind of figured it out. He felt comfortable with it. And now he's a really good interview. And he's very good at explaining things. And, you know, I do think that there is something to, you know, you go from Scott who's like him or not was very articulate.
Starting point is 00:09:33 it and he would like walk you down the path of why they did what they did. And again, right across the street, you had Pete Carroll who would tell you anything you wanted. And you felt like you were part of the process of knowing what was going on. And so it just, it comes off as secretive and it comes off as, you know, again, arrogance or ignorance. And I don't know which one's worse. Look, at the end of the day, Dan Wilson is the leader of this team.
Starting point is 00:09:59 He needs to come out and take some accountability here on behalf of his clubhouse. Yeah. And he is not doing that. He is consistently failing to do that. He's consistently avoiding doing that. That's the issue. Like that is not a good look for this organization. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:10:20 It's not. I'm sorry to those that that upsets. But it's not a good look for your ball club. I'm sorry. As someone that has been covering this ball club for, you know, almost a decade now between Soto Mojo and our Patreon. and now this show for the last half decade, like see a lot of different mariner's teams.
Starting point is 00:10:40 I've covered a lot of different mariner's teams. And there have been a lot of mariner's teams that have handled stuff like this a lot better than this team has. And have weathered these storms a lot better than this team has. It's just something needs to change here. The messaging to your fan base is falling flat.
Starting point is 00:11:02 It is. All right. Well, we're not going to continue running like we did. all episode yesterday, even though it seemed like you guys really like that. But we actually wound up having quite a bit of fun at the ballpark today, regardless of what the Mariners, the current Mariners, did on the field. We actually had a lot of fun watching the alumni home run derby after the game. We'll talk more about that in just a moment.
Starting point is 00:11:25 But first a reminder, this episode of the longtime era's podcast is brought to you by Amazon. This back to school season, spend less on your kids with Amazon. We all know how crazy the back to school. shopping experience can be. It starts with a few items on the list. Then suddenly you're shopping for supplies and clothes and lunch gear and tech and about 10 other things you didn't see coming. It adds up fast. Like when your kids spends days planning the perfect first day of school outfit because they want to make a great first impression. You end up putting almost as much thought into it as they do. At least the first day photos are worth it. Or how about when it's 9 p.m., the night before
Starting point is 00:12:03 school starts and somebody suddenly remembers they need folders and notebooks and markers and apparently 12 other things nobody mentioned until now. Nothing gets the heart rate up quite like emergency school shopping. And I'm convinced that Primes delivered tomorrow before 7 a.m. feature was created exclusively for parents in this specific moment. So remember, with Amazon's low back-to-school prices, just spend less on your kids because every dollar you don't spend on them is a dollar you haven't spent on them. Shop back-to-school at Amazon and spend less.
Starting point is 00:12:38 on your kids. And you're listening to the Locktime Marries podcast, part of the Locktime Podcast Network, your team every day. Thank you so much for making us your first listening. And also thank you for making the Lockdown, the number one sports podcast network. So despite all the grievances that we just aired
Starting point is 00:12:58 about the Mariners and the state of the organization right now, got to hand it to the Mariners on one thing. They really know how to throw an event. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they do with. tomorrow night, but tonight, the alumni home run derby was awesome. It was awesome.
Starting point is 00:13:17 We wound up going down from our seats and going out to the stairwell out in right center field and watching it with Jake from Raisa Triton and the Meritam Mojo guys and Dom from the 1 in O podcast and a bunch of people. It was awesome. Had a great time out there
Starting point is 00:13:36 with those guys. And, you know, Got to pat ourselves on the back here a little bit because when the derby lineup was announced, I believe you and I on the show, or maybe it was on the Patreon, I can't remember, but we did pick Stefan Romero to win. And guess what? Stefan Romero is your 2026 Seattle Mariners alumni home run derby champion meeting Austin Nola in what was an electric championship round.
Starting point is 00:14:10 of this derby however i think the real winner of tonight colby was a good buddy the hyphen ryan rolletsmith i mean yeah no doubt he was you know uh he's been on the broadcast more than anybody so he's been front and center and obviously they've given him a hard time about this and the the running shop to him on the yeah like his bicep got like five percent bigger every every time they ran that graphic and all that. But like, yeah, you know, very reminiscent of the last home run derby, we had a T-Mobile Park where the guy who hoisted the trophy did not win the derby. It was, you know, Ryan's night.
Starting point is 00:14:56 And it was, it was awesome. You know, I'm hoping I can find some video of Ryan's call of Ryan's home run and his performance. He had two. you had two uh and he got three points which means he did not get last place yeah it's the the whole like jackpot round thing where one home run counts us to was a little weird but i think that was almost specifically for ryan but uh look right right had a nice swing man he had a good round of b he had a couple hit off the wall like he he gave some real good uh right before he started you and i were talking and and I was like I wasn't sure what to expect all you know no offense to my to my guy here but like I was like I don't know if he's even going to make it to those little like circles out in the outfield that have like you know for the prizes or whatever and then the first ball like went over those like dead center like dead center yeah yeah I was like well swing looks good like okay yeah and then like yeah he he nearly missed a couple I think that hit off the wall and like right center field
Starting point is 00:16:08 And you could tell like he was he was close and then he finally got it last swing magic there in the you know in the normal round before the jackpot round or yeah whatever. But. Of course. Yeah. And then the second one that he hits in the jackpot round is caught by the Ichemiteer lady. Yeah. Like two rows ahead of our good buddy Ben Reneer as well, which like if you watch the replay on that, you can see Ben in the background go like, oh. It's pretty funny.
Starting point is 00:16:35 It was, yeah, it was awesome. you know and of course Ryan's a showman so he comes out in like the the Steve Irwin outfit yeah the steerer wouldn't get up yeah it was good he was like wrestling a crocodile a little bit a bit much but yeah I mean the outfit was perfect and and yeah Ryan Ryan was great and obviously you know Ryan's really kind of grown into his role over the last couple years and he's one of our favorites just you know great dude and obviously you know professional athlete. So even though there wasn't a lot of expectation for him, there's still a lot of pride on the line. You don't want to embarrass yourself, and he certainly did. And I think hyphen also
Starting point is 00:17:12 had a, like his longest home run went further by like a foot than Ryan Healy's. I believe Healy. Healy's. Yeah, I think Healy's went 376. Like his longest home run was 376 and hyphins was 377. So yeah, hyphen actually held his own tonight against, you know, again, again, Again, it gets like Mike Cameron and Ryan Healy, who, you know, isn't that far removed from his big league career. No, no. Again, you know, like, look, the quality of the pitching was different for everybody. Ryan, very cool moment. James Paxton came out of the bullpen to throw Ryan's BP.
Starting point is 00:17:51 And James, you know, it looked like. Healy, that is. Yeah, sorry, sorry. Yeah. Paxton threw to Healy. And it looked like James probably hadn't picked up a baseball in a couple months. So, you know, I'm a little bit confused. why they didn't just use a machine
Starting point is 00:18:05 to get the consistent, you know, but whatever. I thought it was also a little weird that it was like, all right, so like it was Farquhar for a little bit and then it was Pax and then it was just. Who else? And then I think each you had his own guy. Fleming Bayez
Starting point is 00:18:22 was catching, I believe. See, now my understanding is that he throws BP every day. So like why didn't he just throw that? I don't, whatever. So yeah. I don't know, but I thought like I was under the impression because the Paxson thing happened fairly early on right like wasn't healy like the third guy that went or something like that I thought they were just going to keep I thought they were going to continue like bringing out like guests like kind of like the BPi pictures yeah yeah it's like here's he was Iva or whatever I got it but when Paxson came out that got a big pop for me yeah no it was it was a really good event again I hope that this becomes an annual thing or at least a semi annual thing there are lots of guys who didn't participate this time around that I would love to see participate in home run derby.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Mike Zinino being one of them. You know, Vogelbacks working in the game, but maybe one year he's not. That would be a fun one. You know, what about like a Sean O'Malley? Because as we learned today, it really doesn't matter all that much like the name value of these guys because if you put on a good enough show, people will come and they will watch. Well, but. Well, Eitro got eliminated and half of the ballpark emptied out, if not more.
Starting point is 00:19:31 But that is why Eitro went last. So, you know, you put your, you put your closer last and people wait around for that. But yeah, it was, it was really awesome. And again, Nola and Romero actually put on like a legit show. And, you know, I haven't gotten to say this phrase in a couple months. And it was something I was going to try and get going, but the Mariners just killed it. That is what we call a daddy-dubby for Stefan Romero. He beat Nola in regulation, didn't need the bonus round, without, you.
Starting point is 00:20:04 using his time out. That's a dad. Yeah. Like that is dominant. And Nola got off to a really slow start too. And then he just started cranked. I think the bonus round, he's got like three in a row or four in a row or something like that.
Starting point is 00:20:20 And then he just carried it into the finals. So it was a really fun event, even though like the biggest stars didn't do all. Each year old just missed the finals. Yeah. And he had five in a row. That was electric. That was awesome.
Starting point is 00:20:32 He performed very well. I just came up a little bit short. But like, you know, my camera got. last place and Bucky Jacobson was absolutely gas at the you know halfway through his round and all that and he managed to hit a couple and right he like this isn't exactly like a star studded event of participants and it was still awesome there was great energy in the ballpark there was a very good vibe and it was you know it was kind of cool because like everybody was just kind of rooting for
Starting point is 00:20:55 everybody in a way like there wasn't like now each year was the favorite you know and obviously and you know all the people we talked to at the ballpark thought he was going to win it I guess you know, only a couple of us, no ball. But, you know, it's, it's a really cool event. I would love to see this be a yearly thing, like I said. And again, there's Raulubanjas and there's Mike Sinino. And Raoul looks great, by the way. I don't know if you saw him pregame.
Starting point is 00:21:20 He looks great. It looks like he could probably hit, you know, 10. So, yeah, it's one of those things. I'd love to see Ryan come back. I think it would be funny to have Ryan play like every year and see if you could ever finally win one. Just get really good to take a BP. But it was a really good event.
Starting point is 00:21:36 And, you know, no surprise there. I expect tomorrow to be an amazing event as well. Nobody does events like the Seattle Mariners. And for all their flaws, the event staff, they do a really good job of putting this stuff together. I'll wrap up the derby talk on this. So obviously, different format, whatever. But this year in round one of the actual MLB homerun derby, Bryce Harper hit 8, Kyle Schwerber hit 10, Ben Rice hit 7.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Minotaka Marikami hit 9 and Jack Caglione hit 8 Stephen Romero beat them all Stephen Romero beat all of those guys and also Nola beat all but one of those guys and they only have 20 swings but still I mean in the two minutes
Starting point is 00:22:26 that Romero and Nola had like how many swings did they take? It's about three every 10 seconds and then it slows down towards the end. So, you know, 120 seconds times probably about 30, 35, probably. So it was pretty close. I mean, in the last round, Romero was just tanks, with very little use. Nola was hitting lasers, man.
Starting point is 00:22:53 Lasers. Watch your step, Victor Robles and Johnny Parada. That's all I'm saying. But yeah, it was great. I'm looking forward to the MERS PR tweet tomorrow. the marines have activated Austin Nola. It's the whole
Starting point is 00:23:06 Major League 2 thing where Dorns the general manager guys, great news. At 1128 this morning, I activated myself and he's a full uniform. But yeah, it was a funny. Again, I really hope
Starting point is 00:23:22 this is something that sticks around. And I have a sneaky suspicion that we'll probably put together a mock like derby for 2027 because I think we're going to need the content this winter. So many people at the ballpark asked us today. Like, what is your plan for the lockout?
Starting point is 00:23:42 And I'm like, thanks for reminding me, guys. Sleep. Depression. But yeah. So a lot of stuff like that. Who should purchase been in the derby next year if they have one. All right. Well, coming up tomorrow night.
Starting point is 00:24:03 The Mariners are unveiling their top 50 players in team history. I can talk a little bit about that in just a moment. But first a reminder of this episode of the Lockdown Mariners podcast, it's brought to you by Fandual. Locked on Mariners is brought to you by Fandual. Starting point is 00:25:35 We talk Marys, Seahawks, all that good stuff for more information. Patreon.com forward slash control the zone link in the description of this episode. So before the Mariners and the Ray is square up for their second game of this three game set, marries are going to unveil the top 50 players in Mariners history. Now, after the conversation that we had in the first segment, Colby, I can't help but wonder, is Dan Wilson going to get booed tomorrow night? because he's obviously going to be part of the top 50 members list. He's a Baroness Team Hall of Famer.
Starting point is 00:26:11 So when he gets announced, though, we're going to hear a lot of booze in that ballpark? I think it'll be noticeable at the ballpark. I don't know that it'll be enough to be really picked up well on TV. So I think there will be some booing. My stance has been pretty consistent. I don't think that's the time or place to do it. But, you know, he's obviously not only a,
Starting point is 00:26:35 great player for the Mariners, relatively speaking. He's also a great dude and a pillar of the, you know, the Pacific Northwest and the city of Seattle, like in the community for 30 years. I think that should carry a lot of weight here. I don't like him managing this team anymore than you guys do. But I do think there is something to be said that A, he's great dude, right? B, he is very, very important to the community and the charitable endeavors. He's done over the years and all of those things.
Starting point is 00:27:05 and that he, yeah, he's a Mariner Hall of favor. So, again, I just, to me, time and place to do that, I don't think tomorrow when we're kind of celebrating the totality of these players' careers, I don't think that that's a great time to, you know, boo a guy. But, you know, at the end of the day, look, I'm not going to please people and how they feel. I just, I don't like booing Dan during the ceremony. Again, boom, after the game, like, or during, when he makes a pitching change or whatever,
Starting point is 00:27:32 like, that's fine. That's part of it. That's an appropriate time. But, you know, when we're celebrating the top 50 Mariners of which Dan Wilson certainly is, I think that's probably just a good time to, you know, you don't have to say anything. You don't have to clap if you don't want to. But, yeah, I imagine we'll hear some building. And, you know, it points out that he's damaging his legacy with kind of the way he's been handling this year.
Starting point is 00:27:56 And that's unfortunate. And it'll heal. You know, time will heal all. But there's no doubt about it that Dan's tenure this year as a manager is damage his overall legacy in Seattle, but it's still a really, really good one. So, you know, again, if people want to boo, obviously I can't stop them. It just feels like time and place comes into play there, and I don't think that's the time or the place to do that. So on a more positive note, who are you excited to see or who are you hoping to see tomorrow? Who am I what? Say it again?
Starting point is 00:28:27 Who are you hoping to see tomorrow? Well, you know, guys that like Kyle Seeger, one of my favorite players of the 2010s, unfortunately, he didn't end great. We know he's not going to be there. And we know the real reason why. Whatever. Still some wounds to heal there. So we know we're not going to see him. We know we'll see Nelson Cruz.
Starting point is 00:28:48 We know James Paxson, obviously, we'll be there. I assume he's going to make the team. It'd be pretty stupid if he didn't. Iwakuma, hopefully he's there. I don't know if he will be, but he should make the team. I really wish Luis was still around just for that moment, but, you know, what are you going to do, baseball? I am interested to see if Robinson Canoe is there.
Starting point is 00:29:09 He should be. He should be. I know things didn't go well at the end, but it's a no-brainer. He's the best second baseman in Mariners history, one of the top, I don't know, 10 to 15 in baseball history. And he gave you five really good years. He's better than Brett Boone. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:29:24 And Boone's going to make the team, and he should. No problem with that. But I would like to see Robinson Cano there. You know, honestly, Mitch Hanigar, haven't heard from him in a couple years. Another guy who, he's playing right now, I think he was just DFAed pretty recently, so maybe he's available. Marco Gonzalez, I think he's another guy who really, like, Hanager deserves a lot of credit for kind of bridging this rebuild and getting the mirrors to where they are. And we know JP will be on the team, you know, obviously.
Starting point is 00:29:53 So he's kind of the third guy who really kind of, you know, bridge the rebuild to where they were. And so Hanager, I hope, is there as well. Obviously, you know, we learned tonight James Paxson probably going to be. there, one of my favorites. So, yeah, I might have heard a thing or two today about Mitch Hanager potentially being there. Okay, okay. You know, we know Kyle Seeger's not going to be there. Yeah, you know, it would be interesting to see how many like Freddie Garcia, Arthur Rhodes,
Starting point is 00:30:22 Jeff Nelson, you know, how many of these guys are going to be there for Nanda Rodney? How many like bullpen guys and all that are going to be there as well? But yeah, Hanager just haven't heard from in a while and, you know, one of our all-time favorites. So I do hope that we get to see him and him and Canoe and Mark. I just, I really do like appreciate those guys who stuck through a rebuild and then came out the other side and, you know, to varying degrees, participated in the return of the Mariners, so to speak. So the Hanager, the Marco Gonzalez is, you know, obviously. And we know JP will be on the team. So yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Yeah, you know, I think we have a pretty good idea on like 20. of these guys and the other 25. We'll see. We'll see how it shakes out. But we did hear one of the guys I was hoping was going to be there, didn't make it, unfortunately. And it sounds like one of the guys that I was hoping didn't make the team also didn't make it. So mixed bag for me today.
Starting point is 00:31:21 But I, again, I probably have a good feeling about three or four more guys than the average fan. So it's not like I know the entire list or anything like that. No, no, no. Yeah. I heard some things around the ballpark today. and all that. So I have an idea of, you know, a couple of guys that are going to be there.
Starting point is 00:31:39 But yeah, definitely there will be some surprises in there potentially. I'm really curious to just see how many like current guys are going to make it. Yeah. Six or seven, I think. Yeah, like Cal obviously, Julio, obviously, JP, obviously. Logan. You know, if you want to count Luis, even though that he's gone now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:00 But like Hollander, like, you know, he sees. said that Luis is going to be a part of it. So I think Logan, probably George. See on Brice and Brian. I wouldn't be upset if they made the team, but. Yeah. Just feels a little bit, not enough. Mooney, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Maybe Brash, although the injuries really. Yeah. Yeah, I think that's probably it. I don't think Randy, you know, two guys I'm interested to see. Does Randy Rosamana make the team? Does Randy Wynn make the team? Does A.U. Nios Juarez make the team? There are just three guys that...
Starting point is 00:32:39 Gino better make the team. He should. I mean, the number of big moments alone is enough to get him on this team. And just the fact that he's beloved and all that, so beloved in this community. Yeah, Gino shit. Does Gino the second best third basement in franchise history? I mean, we're not counting Edgar, D.H. Yeah. Seeger.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Deltray? Oh, Seeger. Okay, so third best. Yeah. Seeger Beltrade, Gino. Yeah. You don't want to throw David Bell a little love? No, Russ Davis love?
Starting point is 00:33:16 No. It would be funny if David Bell made the team, but I think he was only here for two years. Carlos Gian, is he going to make the team? I was a big Carlos Keen fan. I know he did most of his damage with Detroit, but how many of those guys, 2001 guys are going to be on the team? Is Olerud going to make it? Is Tino Martinez going to make it? I think one of those two will.
Starting point is 00:33:34 So, probably Olerud. But yeah, it'll be fun. You know, it'll just be fun to have a lot of these guys in the ballpark. And obviously, you know, Ty and I can't speak to the Langstons and, you know, the Alvin Davis and the Harold Reynolds types. But important players in the franchise and obviously no problem with them. So, yeah, it would just be good to get a bunch of Rupert Jones as well. So, yeah, it'll be fun. And obviously, you know, they're going to be playing a lot of like Dave sound when they introduce these guys.
Starting point is 00:34:01 So that'll always be a, you know, tearjerker. And I'm sure, you know, Rick will do a great job as the MC. and we'll see what they have up their sleep. I don't know exactly how they're going to, is it going to be like where they bring guys in from the pink carpet from the bullpen or is it just going to, are they going to announce like five or ten at a time? And like,
Starting point is 00:34:16 here's the guys who couldn't be here but made it. And then like, here's the pictures. Like, I don't know. But it should be a lot of fun. It'll be emotional for a lot of people. You know,
Starting point is 00:34:26 I'm a big sucker for when a community comes together to celebrate. So, yeah, it'll be emotional. And there will be, there will be tears. They'll be laughter. there'll be, you know, joy and then the Mariners will play and it'll all just turn to anger and tears instead of happy tears.
Starting point is 00:34:42 But, you know, before the Mariners play, a lot of great stuff is going to happen tomorrow. All right. That is going to do it for our show.
