Starting point is 00:00:03 Makes sense. Great morning, friends. Great morning world. This is your boy, Dr. J.C. Dornick. And welcome to another episode of the Make Sense with Dr. J.C. Dornick podcast. What is it exactly that I do? A lot of people ask me that question before we get into today's episode. I like to refer to myself as one that has gone from being messed up to blessed up.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Over the past 20 years, I've built several seven-figure-plus businesses at the expense of course, of navigating a mountain full of setbacks, letdowns, and failures. With a huge passion to pay forward the secrets that I learned of my success, I spent the majority of my focus on human behavior, specifically why it is that two people, with the same opportunity to succeed from the same background, get two different results. That fascinated me, and I wanted to crack that code and share it with others. What I've identified to be the secret and X-factor, in those that succeed is simply the fact that they follow through. It might sound simple, but it's pretty complicated for a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:01:13 You see, it's who you are that determines how well what you do works. Over the years, I've developed a goofproof, cost-effective system that can take literally anyone from any current reality of messed up in physical, mental, or financial health and help them evolve and emerge as the dominant force and shock caller of their life and reality. Let's take a quick break to hear from our sponsor. The Make Sense podcast is sponsored by the Make Sense Academy, co-created by both myself, Mika, aka The Chicken, and the dragon. The Make Sense Academy is a live interactive community where like-minded, solution-focused, curious seekers of expansion, gather daily in a mastermind setting with both chicken and dragon,

This is elusis, the magic of mortality and rebirth. What is the true meaning and purpose of life? After combing through this and so many different theories, the one conversation that made the
Starting point is 00:02:42 most sense to me was the one that said that the meaning of life is to experience and live it to its fullest potential in enjoyment, exploration, mysteries, and yes, adversity. Think for a moment what your life experience would be like without adversity. would you even have the ability to know the feelings of pleasure and enjoyment without knowing the feelings of pain and sadness? This is where concepts of the obstacle is the way and embrace the suck come from. If you didn't know the feelings of frustration, setbacks, letdowns, and failures, would you even be able to acknowledge the joys of winning and success? I'd say no. So this creates a challenge for the human being in order to truly experience, appreciate, and live.
Starting point is 00:03:28 their best life. We always hear people saying this. I'm living my best life. One would need to know the darkness of mortality in order to truly appreciate and live their best life. Yes or no? There are many stories of what's called MDE's or near-death experiences where people claim to emerge from these near-death experiences indicating that they have this new feeling of being reborn where they no longer worry about the small stuff or the things that they can't control. They make a full body and brain decision that they will live their lives to the fullest and appreciate every breath they're granted.
Starting point is 00:04:08 In the ancient times, there were stories of what was called the Illusian mysteries, where the ancient Greeks and Stoics and the powerful families would make an arduous journey to the city of Elusis. It was said that you could walk to Elusis as a mere mortal and then emerge, on the other side of it and walk away as a god. How was this possible? The stories described it as a ceremonial experience that brought men from death to rebirth. It's important to know that
Starting point is 00:04:39 elusis represented the real religion of that time, which has given birth to many, many things that you see in your life today, not solely, but including all Western religions, democracy, and even the Olympic Games. Its concepts, are very much still alive today. What happened at this mysterious place? It was said that those that made that arduous trip to Elusis drank what they referred to as a magic potion, which prompted them to experience death, followed by rebirth,
Starting point is 00:05:11 or as Plato described it, the Blessed Sight Vision. Some described that they saw God, and many extraordinary beliefs came from that idea. Like the stories of the great Greek gods that you've heard of, like Zeus, the God of Thunder, or Poseidon, the god of the seas and the winds. Ever wonder how people came up with those stories and then followed that up by buying into them?
Starting point is 00:05:34 What actually happened in a lusus, though? What were they drinking? Well, we're never going to know this because sharing this information meant prosecution and a death sentence to anyone that revealed it. This makes the mysteries of Lusis better known as the best kept secret.
Starting point is 00:05:50 This spawned many new versions of this magic potion where other Greek leaders started to share their own potions known as Kukyons, K-U-K-E-O-N-S. They were said to yield the power and grant the ability to become gods by, in essence, just simply drinking the blood of God. In fact, the word enthusiasm came from this idea. It was borrowed from the Greek word enthaciosmos, meaning inspiration or possession by a God. What this meant is to possess God within you. Sound familiar? This is the origin of what it is meant to be enthusiastic. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Perhaps this was the catalyst for the wild parties of what was called the Dionysus, where in fifth century, playwrights would gather and have what seemed to be the first raves ever. Now, the closest stories that we have to this date of the downstream effects of the idea of being reborn by first experiencing death is that of someone that had emerged that you might know as Jesus, who invited you to drink the holy wine. which represented the blood of God. What he said was that only those willing to die first would be reborn. Do you see the correlation?
Starting point is 00:07:04 This stuff was so powerful that it spawned the biggest religion of our world today, consisting of over 2 billion followers, which is almost a third of the entire planet. How is this manifesting and taking place today? This is the massive allure of what you see in psychedelics, including things like psilocybin, LSD, ayahuasca and the powerful DMT, allowing people to experience God by in essence letting go and setting free their rational mind. As I openly share, this was the allure of me working with plant
Starting point is 00:07:40 medicines like ayahuasca and smoking the poisonous secretions of what is known as the mysterious boofo frog, otherwise known as sapo. Having experienced these both several times, I can tell you that they bought powerful, frightening, and at the same time glorious feelings of the mortality of the parts of me that were no longer me. Many refer to this as ego death, giving the participant that new ticket and appreciation of their lives where they can begin pruning their life experience of the things that no longer mattered. And again, starting to squeeze everything they can from the unpredictable time that they had been gifted from a state of gratitude. I can tell you firsthand that this is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth,
Starting point is 00:08:28 and what manifested as one of the most powerful life-changing events that have changed my life forever. So why do humans struggle so much? It's that programmed, analytical, and so-called rational mind. Think for a moment. Think for a moment where the idea came from that deemed a rational mind. Who made that up? Well, my interpretation in my work and in my book is that it came from your programmers, your mother, your father, your teacher, your preacher, and society, which we're consuming with
Starting point is 00:08:58 regularity right now, but we're also seeing that it's also come from evolution. A lot of these concepts I'm talking about have been paid forward. It's safe, and it's like the law. It keeps us in line and in order, but are we able to live our best life with our programmed rational minds? I'll leave that to you as I don't want to disturb your potential illusion of being content and happy with it. However, this story comes to you as something new that you have now found under a rock that you've, for whatever reason, decided to overturn today with me. This idea exposes why it is that we struggle to live in the present moment and truly embrace and appreciate the true essence of life. To experience it as you would, as an explorer, dropped off in a new land with your only
Starting point is 00:09:45 task and job being to explore and take note of everything new that you saw in front of your face. What does this mean for the concept of God? Well, I don't want to ruffle any feathers, but if you just look at it on the surface with an open and curious heart, the truth is, is we don't really know what it is. So we made it up, and we created this name God, and it stuck. But what history shows us is that God represents some sort of divine spark that lives inside all of us. Just knowing and embracing that alone, with the use of the interface response system that you've been learning through my podcast, I think that's enough to begin the process of you truly living your best life today, or at least uncovering the potential of it, without needing to die first, which is convenient. Imagine what your life would look like today if you truly just started living. Detached from the mystery of the future, eradicating the need to identify yourself,
Starting point is 00:10:45 with what happened yesterday. To begin venturing into the timelessness of the infinite present to realize that your own divinity, as well as the divinity of everything and everyone around you, in its purest form, in its purest form, is something that you know as love, and it's already inside of you. Have an amazing day. I love and appreciate you all. Makes sense.
