Starting point is 00:00:10 Great morning world. Welcome to the Rise Up with Dragon podcast with your host, Dragon. Great morning world. All right, folks. Ready, set, grow. This is having. So real quickly, before we get into it, I always start with some dragon thoughts. So today, very, very special day because today I'm going to give you a stimulant.
Starting point is 00:00:44 For those of you that are getting into the journaling process, whether you're watching this or listening as a recording, this is part of it. Today, I'm going to give you this concept of being lost and found. Whatever that means to you, I'm going to invite you to journal about what it means to you to be lost and found. And then the other thing that happened right before this, when I was getting ready to start, I noticed that it was a little bit dark. So I turned to my left and I noticed that in this room that I'm in, there's a window that
Starting point is 00:01:13 I never noticed because the curtains were closed. So what I did is I opened it and all this light came through, which was great for my video quality. But then I realized that I've never looked out this window. And I just was captivated by this new vantage point that I had. There's a little gift and a nugget for you today. Open up a new window in your life today. Take a right instead of a left and just notice something that you don't typically notice. It could actually be the blessing and the gift you were looking for. And then also I want to share with you today. So, Dragon Thoughts to warm things up. When people show you, when people show you who they are, who they truly are, believe them the first time. That's by Maya Angelou.
Starting point is 00:01:56 If you're that person that's out there trying to fix people and try to build an airplane in the sky or teach a goldfish to climb a tree today, you're wasting your time and theirs. Time is your most valuable asset. So stop trying to fix people and align yourself with things and people that are in support of your. dreams. Taking a moment today to acknowledge the concept that I have about the thing or things that my mind claims to have power over me to hold me back. A lot of people tell me why they're not succeeding. And I understand because very often I will fall victim to a thought of something that's holding me back. So what I do is I just say, hmm, and I observe it. I don't observe it with my program mind. I just observe it with an unaffected mind. First, I ask my
Starting point is 00:02:43 heart and my gut, if that or those things truly have power over me. And if you take time and you distance yourself from your response, you'll recognize that they don't. And it's just the universe's way of testing whether or not you are ready and deserving of the bounty that sits on the other side of the pile of ship that you're perceiving has power over you. So this is having. So fascinated by this word having. So, so fascinated with the never-ending battle that we have as humans and face with having. So here we go. We spend much of our waking conscious and unconscious hours assessing and striving for our hads. That's a have in the past and our haves. Habs are things that we either have or we want to have. So what we do is we wake up assessing whether or not we have had restful sleep.
Starting point is 00:03:37 and then we look forward with hopes to having a good day. So there's an example of it. We also set goals and results. We aspire to set goals and results that we wish to have come into reality. So there's another version of it. Not saying they're good or bad. I'm just acknowledging how much time we spend on the haves. So we must also learn to identify the things and people that we wish to not have, which is a big part of us having a good life. So we make assessments of our social status by evaluating the belongings that we have or have not. Do you do that? I do that.
Starting point is 00:04:16 I catch myself doing that all the time. So then we wake up to question whether or not these things that we have or have not actually have any value in support of our dreams and the things that matter most. That's kind of like that idea of Maya Angelou and this idea of. and this idea of identifying how much time we spend on trying to acquire things, and then we either get them or not. But once we have them very often, do you ever take time to assess whether or not it's actually important to you?
Starting point is 00:04:45 I love to do that. So we're minimalist, right? So we've actually looked at all the stuff that we have, and we've decided that we don't need to have those things. So we're so driven or procrastinate based on the level of urgency that we have in connection with the value of the goals that we set. Think about that. We're so driven or we procrastinate based on the level of urgency that we have set in connection with the value placed on the goals that we set. So you're either driven towards them or
Starting point is 00:05:16 you procrastinate. So we either want to have them, need to have them, or must have them. Think about the difference between the things that you want to have, need to have, and must have. chances are you probably have the ones that you must have. Or, like I said before, Chicken and I, as minimalists, we focus on having less as more, right? So the idea of having less is something that we aspire to have, have less. More, it's kind of the opposite of the whole thing. So what I found most interesting when working with clients and coaches, which is what I do all day, I hear what they're talking about, what they tell me what they want and what they must and what they need and things like that, and a lot of people struggle to tell me those things.
Starting point is 00:05:59 But what I find interesting working with them in the realm of health and wealth transformation is what I've referred to as the hidden truth. When you're asking people questions and you're looking to identify their intrinsic motivations in what they want and what they need and what they must have, you'll identify something called the hidden truth. So if you can recognize this and awaken to this truth, the secret ingredient to your having game will be revealed and resolved. So this is the value. This is the offering today. So when I ask you, when I ask people what they want,
Starting point is 00:06:32 they typically respond by telling me what I call their surface what. That's the first thing you'll do. And your surface what is the version of what you want that you think you can have. So that's a mess, right? That comes from your head. That's why we always tell people to dream bigger. So that's what the surface what? If I ask further questions like why they want it, that's a powerful thing. So I see, see what you want, but why? Why now? What's the value of it? It's going to help them awaken them to their true intrinsic motivation. That's an awakening process. We do that. Whenever we intake a client or we get a new coach started or a partner is we always awaken that in them. And the process of awakening is about showing someone something that is, that is,
Starting point is 00:07:17 but that they did know is. That's powerful. But what I find interesting when somebody tells me what they want is in that very statement. And think about something that you want right now. What I find interesting about the statement of you saying what you want is that at the same time, what goes on in my mind is I'm thinking, you don't have it. You ever notice that? If somebody tells you what they want need or must have, it also means in the same statement, they don't have it. So here's that have game again. When I say I want and even place value to it, so when I say I want something, And I even take the next step with the why and place value to it and build it as this proverbial North Star that I love to talk about. I'm also unveiling that I don't have it.
Starting point is 00:08:02 So this opens a curious and valuable door of why. That's what I want to know. How could you want something so bad and you don't have it? And I'm going to give you an example of that's just not possible. If you want something bad enough, you will have it. So you always have to evaluate how important the have is. So why don't you have it? What's missing from your strategy right now or lack of a strategy that gets you to have it? You ever consider the fact that you don't have it because you haven't
Starting point is 00:08:31 decided to make it a priority? So what's an example of that? The likes of the air that you desire when somebody's holding your head underwater. Now, you want to talk about something that you want to have bad? That's a must. That's a must have. So are you struggling to breathe right now? No. And if I started to prevent you from breathing, you would see a version of you that will get it. So that version of you exists. And I wanted to share that with you today. So this is where we find the secret to obtaining all the haves that you desire, that which is missing in our strategy. That's where you find it. Once unveiled this true, true reason that you want something to the point where it's your air, all that's left to do is go after it with an obsessed, reckless abandonment, which is where you're what you would do if I was holding your head underwater. Obsessed, reckless abandonment, which is okay to have. You were taught as a child that you're not allowed to be obsessed about things. That's a lie. So obsessed, reckless abandonment until you obtain it. And then, here's the funny part about us humans. After you obtain it, then unveil the desire for either the next one, when you get
Starting point is 00:09:43 to a mountain, you can see the next mountain, or have the realization, which is okay too as you cut the fat in life that it's not actually important. Isn't that interesting about HAVs? So does that make sense? Well, I love and appreciate you all. Please follow, please support. I love and appreciate you all. Have an amazing day.
Starting point is 00:10:02 And I will see you Wednesday. Makes sense.
