Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, so what's this business about this $2 steak guy? This guy is a big-time gamer and YouTuber, I think, right? I don't know who Asmongold is. I literally saw this after you mentioned it. I haven't watched it either, but apparently he has millions of followers on social, right? So he makes money, but from the thumbnail, I don't know what he's doing. I can't tell what he's doing with his life. It doesn't even look like it.
Starting point is 00:00:21 It's just a screen grab. It's not even like a creative thumbnail. It's just like generated there. He's got tons of views and tons of subscribers um this was suggested to me uh by our boy matt baby fat matt who uh has been training at super training for a long time and he was like i think it'd be cool if you guys did more reaction stuff and then he he he's like i gotta send you this video he's like it's hard to describe what you're gonna see in this video but he's like i don't know he's like i just think you guys have a lot to say about this video so well we do love steak so that's true all right let's get this party started what's up boys so i've wanted to do this for a while a lot of people have asked for it
Starting point is 00:01:02 and we're finally gonna do it today i'm gonna show you all how I cook a steak. I know how to cook one meal, a steak. And today, you're going to learn how to do the same thing. Now, I would say that steak is the most important meal of the day. Usually, whenever I get up around 2 to 3 p.m i start the day off i eat one two four cookies maybe some gummy lifesavers maybe go down to i don't know mcdonald's to get some food it's 2023 you know everyone's starting with their resolutions don't go this route i'm just gonna say that right now just don't go this route although he's doing well to say that right now. Just don't go this route. Although he's doing well. Just, hey, you know. I thought his breakfast was going to be like the steak, but he's like, I ate some cookies.
Starting point is 00:01:52 That threw me off. At least he's being real. Yeah. I wonder what kind of cookies. That is crucial information. Towards the end of the night, and this is about where we're at now, it's about, looks like a little past 1 a.m. And so this is prime steak time. This looks like a little bit a little past 1 a.m and so this is prime steak time this is like a morning routine right here everybody you know get ready for this
Starting point is 00:02:11 morning routine he's gonna unleash on us i'd like to show you guys how i actually do it now i don't like to get the good steaks now the reason for that is not because i don't like the good steaks it's because i don't want to like the good steaks. The fact is that I've been using these steaks. I've been getting these steaks now for, I don't know, probably fucking ten years. My mom always made them for me. And these are these steaks right
Starting point is 00:02:36 here. You guys can see I've got them in a bag. Does he live in a closet? What is this? It had four steaks in it. How much money was it? This thing's all fucked up. What does it say? Oh, my God. Who's he asking?
Starting point is 00:02:50 There's some deep philosophical shit behind what he just said right there, though. It's like I don't eat good steaks because I don't want to start liking good steaks. I mean if you start eating Piedmontese, you get spoiled because you're like this is fucking good. Then you go eat a $2 steak. You're going to think it's trash, but you're always eating two dollar steaks maybe you want to do better yeah maybe he wants to keep it uh minimalist ish with his uh wallet right big brain but he doesn't have to he has millions he makes that youtube money this is me kind of throwing some shade but like he has like the old school like uh vent thing up here above like it's all yellow like that just screams super old house yeah what's to the left there is
Starting point is 00:03:29 that like a medicine or something it's like night quill and stuff like that hey man i love this guy for being himself this is dope this is true all right here we go which is all right because you know we're gonna have to need to do that with the steaks so i'll show you guys how much uh my steaks are and uh this is a meal i usually make for myself multiple times a week uh seven dollars so seven dollars for four steaks here and i get these as i said that's amazing uh they're delicious i have no complaints i have no problems i like to keep things simple like to keep things cheap. So next thing is you're going to need a pan. The thing is that I have about 20 pans in my house.
Starting point is 00:04:16 19 of them are dirty. Well, actually 20 of them are dirty. I mean number 19 or number 20 here. And I really just clean and use the same pen over and over. I don't think you're going to want to see this, but basically... Does this guy know that he's funny? Basically, the sink wouldn't fucking drain. The sink was black of water,. That was a fucking problem. A little bit of mold going on.
Starting point is 00:04:47 I got a liquid plumber and I fixed that. Now it's not a problem, but it was. Anyway, so let's go ahead. Maybe that was a sponsorship plug. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's these little flies. I don't know why they're here. It's just some fucking bullshit.
Starting point is 00:05:04 The first thing you do... like obviously I hate washing dishes. I only use paper plates and plastic utensils. Wait, pause. Do any of you guys do that? All the time. You still use paper? You use paper plates? We just got done with all the holidays, so we have a bunch of paper plates for the food and stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:24 I still use those every day because I'm like, I don't want to wash this shit. So we just got done with all the holidays, so we have a bunch of paper plates for the food and stuff. I still use those every day because I'm like, I don't want to wash this shit. Hey, that is a big brain move right there. I used to do it all the time when I was single, of course. Make it easy. I don't want to do dishes. Now you wash your dishes? No.
Starting point is 00:05:39 Okay. Andy does it. Fair. I think that sometimes I have to use a real forking knife for this. There is no silverware that is clean in the house. I don't really do that. And there's a lot of dirty silverware. Then every, every, about like every two months. Great cinematography here.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Picture of the back of his shoulder. It's like a mid-month crisis. A picture of the back of his shoulder. Yeah. It's like a mid-month crisis because it happens all the time. And basically what I do is I clean up like three things in the house. He doesn't have a clean fork or anything. It's so lazy. For like five hours. And I think to myself, like, I'm going to turn my life around.
Starting point is 00:06:24 And I feel such an overwhelming sense of pride and accomplishment all right this isn't about him but you see some dudes who are like I can't get girls okay I don't have sex and then you go to their place and it's like this and it's like get you a shirt that fits dog brush your hair wash your dishes it's not that did he say anything about like, does he take a shower? Like, I'm not talking to you. I'm just curious. Like, does he take care of himself or is it just like the whole, like, this is the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:06:52 He doesn't wash his dishes nor his balls. Hey, man. I think everything's just like from his home, you know, like probably doesn't really want to go out too much. Probably he's made money off of YouTube and it's all speculation. I don't know this guy at all. So I'm not trying to, but yeah, I don't know. It's interesting to just try to like not adhere or do anything else that maybe other people do.
Starting point is 00:07:15 It might put you in a weird compromising position to where you have 20 dirty, dirty pans in your house and no forks or whatever to get to. Yeah. The first thing that comes to mind is like, well, you got to be a responsible adult or whatever. But like our thought on like getting older is like, well, you don't have to just get like old and, you know. Crusty.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Just because you're getting older. So maybe he's like, fuck it. I don't have to be responsible. I'm still going to be a kid, play video games and wash my one fork for my damn self. And then that's it. Well, and is he responsible? Of course he is. He's responsible and dedicated to put these videos out.
Starting point is 00:07:50 And I know he does it in a very, I think it's fun and funny and entertaining. Maybe he's just doing these straight up. I don't know. Maybe this is just the way he is, 100%. It seems like, I don't know, it seems like he probably started this way and he probably just
Starting point is 00:08:06 has kept it that way even though his car and other things have probably gotten better over the years big brain move from this dude he's like low effort
Starting point is 00:08:13 in the beginning build up now there's still low effort and he's up here you know what I mean it's amazing yeah all these young kids out there waiting
Starting point is 00:08:19 for the special camera and waiting for you know they're building out a website they're gonna make an app or whatever the things they're gonna do are and this guy's just crushing it right here just like this you know what i've earned myself a little bit of a break i cracked open another cold one and uh you know throw the garbage back on the floor and so that's
Starting point is 00:08:39 the handle of the pan oh yeah there you go. I hate when that happens. Yeah, same. It's not worth it. We got to get this guy to super training. We'd have to open up late, though. Number one, we have the pan. Or early.
Starting point is 00:09:10 As with any good steak, what do you eat with the steak? Great question. I want to hear about his exercise routine. We eat a potato. I'm very curious, too. As I said, I only make this meal. I do this all the time. You have one potato.
Starting point is 00:09:25 Now, give me a minute. I got to, this is really annoying. Now I've got to clean a fucking fork too. All the forks are dirty. He's getting really put out by this meal. I was eating steaks with them. I tried doing it with a plastic fork and the plastic fork melted,
Starting point is 00:09:43 melted onto the pan. and so that was really kind of unfortunate do you guys have any idea how much more money it costs to eat out versus uh eating home obviously it depends on like there's a lot of things it depends on right but just on average on average i don't know like what are we talking about? Like, like percentage wise, like, or money? I think like maybe percentage wise and, and let's just kind of say like lunch.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Okay. Lunch. Say that a typical decent lunch meal would probably be like 14, 15 bucks. Agreed. Right. And if you're doing that every single day, um, that's like maybe an extra 450 to maybe 500 bucks a month and then if you're doing
Starting point is 00:10:28 it at home it might be oh you mean if you're eating at home like if you just at home homemade versus going out oh yeah you can make a good homemade meal for like i was gonna say five bucks you could, especially if you get it from Costco. Get the ingredients from Costco because it all comes in bulk. And then you cook your shit. You can make really good $5 to $10 meals. Seriously, yeah. We're looking at $5 to $10 less a day.
Starting point is 00:10:57 I've heard that it could be up to 10 times the amount that you pay to go to lunch or even to dinner. And you can kind of compare the two. Like you could say at home, maybe your dinner would be a steak and a potato and some vegetables or something like that. And maybe that would cost you a little extra. But if going to a restaurant, especially if you go somewhere kind of nice, it's going to be, what, $30 a plate? Kind of minimum, right? Because I eat quite a bit, my meals end up being like $25, $30. You get an appetizer or something like that if you're going to like a sit-down restaurant.
Starting point is 00:11:33 But even a burrito with extra meat at Chipotle, I think you're in for $15 or so? In for like $20, yeah. $20, yeah. Wow, $20. Getting quite a bit extra meat, yeah, for me, yeah. So if you just made like a little bit of meat and eggs at home you know it would probably be about five times less than that or four times less than that something like that yeah probably
Starting point is 00:11:54 on the minimum so this guy's saving a lot of dough by eating meat and potatoes big brain so we don't use plastic forks to make steaks anymore. This is some fork my mom ordered. It was some overpriced thing. I like that his mom's involved. On eBay. I think this whole set was like $100. Is that a Jesus poster? So next thing you do is you want to...
Starting point is 00:12:18 I can send him a really nice horse calendar too. Oh yeah, I forgot about the potato. So the potato, this is how I cook a potato. I take the fork and I stab the shit out of the potato. Good stabbing technique. Because she didn't want to have to fucking put it in the oven. And I stab the fuck out of the potato and I put the bitch in the microwave. I thought it was going to be bad too, but it wasn't. I don't know if it was like an ex-girl of mine
Starting point is 00:12:49 or if I saw it on TV, but if you take a paper towel and you wet it, you put it on top of the potato, why does that work better? There's a reason. Moisture. Dude, microwaves are crazy. I don't know who the fuck they do,
Starting point is 00:13:00 but they work. Yeah, if you guys want to cook potatoes, yeah, put the wet paper towel on the potato, stab it, warm it up, four or five minutes. You got a fully made potato. Really well cooked potato. Yeah. And you can also just stick it in the air fryer.
Starting point is 00:13:13 That works really good too. Wait, really? Yeah. I've not done that. Oh, yeah, air fried potatoes. You can get a bunch of potatoes from the store and just fucking stick them in there. Do you need to stab it, do anything with it? No, you don't need to do anything to it you don't really put anything around it you don't
Starting point is 00:13:27 even need to put aluminum foil around it nothing you just put them in i didn't know that yeah um you can also like uh regular potatoes you know they're they're a little hard to eat you know you got to put like butter on them or something because they're dry if you get smaller potatoes and dump a little olive oil on there and some salt, they're pretty damn good. And stick them in the air fryer also? Yeah, put them in the air fryer. They'll come out. I've never tried.
Starting point is 00:13:50 You'll feel like a goddamn chef. They'll come out so good. What? And then, of course, there's my favorite, which is a Japanese sweet potato. Those things are gold. I've still never had it. It's the purple one, yeah? Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:14:00 Dude, it's like a candy bar. Japanese sweet potato. It's so good. This guy's probably never tried it, though. They're kind of expensive, aren't they? Dude, it's like a candy bar. They are really good. Japanese sweet potato. It's so good. This guy's probably never tried it, though. They're kind of expensive, aren't they? No, they're not expensive. No, potatoes, you know. What's a potato cost?
Starting point is 00:14:12 Like 75 bucks? Yeah, give or take. No, I mean, these potatoes are a couple cents, I think. Yeah, I only say that because I've never seen them at like the Walmart grocery store that I go to. Yeah, that's why yeah I mean they're around like they're they're in like regular grocery stores and stuff too but yeah maybe you're not gonna see that Walmart and Target maybe let's go to Sprouts yeah Sprouts is legit I like Sprouts anyway I put this bitch in for eight and a half minutes
Starting point is 00:14:39 so you need butter you want to put butter on the pan uh i don't even know why you do that i just see other people doing it i really have no idea it doesn't matter yeah well anyway let's go ahead i'll just put it over here doesn't matter just make it to your taste you guys can fucking believe that i put the butter on the pan right like i don't have to fucking bring you guys over here all right good so anyway uh you put the butter on the pan. It's going to be hard for this guy to have a kid. Imagine him talking to his kids that way. I ought to fucking show you how to tie your shoes.
Starting point is 00:15:12 Do I got to show you how to fucking tie your shoes? Oh, my God. I got to fucking show you how to brush your teeth. You have to get all the way over here so you can fucking brush your teeth. Power Project family, how's it going? Now, P. Monty's Beef is a company we've been eating literally for years now because they have some of the best beef on the market. Tons of cuts, tons of different types of beef.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Check them out. Andrew, where can they get it? At piedmontese.com. That's P-I-E-D-M-O-N-T-E-S-E.com. And at checkout, enter promo code POWER to save 25% off your entire order. And if your order is $150 or more, you get free two-day shipping. Links to them down in the description as well as the podcast show notes. A couple, like 30 seconds, a minute or so.
Starting point is 00:15:51 And then we're going to go ahead and get back into the steak situation. So I have three things that I put on my steaks. Let's go ahead and talk about them. So this is Worc talk about them. So, this is Worcestershire sauce. The reason why I do this is because my dad
Starting point is 00:16:12 does this. They were out of the craft Worcestershire sauce, which is like literally way cheaper. So I had to buy this shit. It's all the same. Who gives a fuck? And so also, this is steak seasoning. Salt Lake is a place here in Austin.
Starting point is 00:16:29 I went there one time for some fucking thing, and it was pretty good. So I decided to get the steak seasoning. Steak seasoning is pretty good. And also, we get lemon and pepper. So those three things, that's the steak ingredients. So now it's actually going to taste really good. The, I was going to say, as you can see, you can't see it because I'm too lazy. I don't want to put it over here.
Starting point is 00:16:55 But yeah, there's like fucking like butter in like the pan and shit. Right. And so every time that I cook a steak, so like, you know how like women take pictures of like their food? You know, you go on Instagram and it's like some girl, she's taking a picture of her food again. I'm a man. I don't do that. But I do take pictures of every single steak that I cook. I cook the exact same steak every single steak that I cook. I cook the exact same steak every single time
Starting point is 00:17:26 and I take a picture of it at the end. That way I remember how good it was. Let's begin. Have you guys noticed that there's this weird medieval music playing in the background? I can't fucking ignore it. It went off for a second. I'm like, wait up.
Starting point is 00:17:44 The music's gone. I think we're playing like Legend of Zelda I can't fucking ignore it. It went off for a second. I'm like, wait up. The music's gone. What is this? I think we're playing Legend of Zelda or something. Yeah, what the hell? It's a sort of adventure game. I love this guy. All right. We've got a steak right here.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Oh, this is a good one. So it's not a big one. This is a nice little small meal. I'm about 6'3 or so. Damn. Probably hung like a goddamn horse. Definitely. This is definitely a smaller size steak.
Starting point is 00:18:18 I stayed to the dick with y'all. Oh, yeah. You got to always go to the end. Yeah, we'll just go ahead and go with the steak right here. I stabbed the steak a little bit. Get a little... That way I get the... This shit in there.
Starting point is 00:18:34 On the steak. So I'm going to go ahead and take you guys. I'm going to move you a little bit over here. And so you've got to shake this bitch up, right? And the reason you do that is because on the back of the bottle it says to do it and so uh next thing go ahead and open this up and i'll show you guys what we're doing here um we get this oh i'm fucking up uh so you guys you guys messed me up uh i gotta do these
Starting point is 00:18:59 first i think the seasoning's better uh now now it's it's cooking and now I'm getting stressed out. Oh, fuck. Okay. All right. So I put – This stovetop is awfully clean for a guy who says that he doesn't clean. The stovetop is too clean. If you're cooking steak, usually oil splatters everywhere.
Starting point is 00:19:20 I don't believe him now. I think it's an act. This is too clean, dog. It's cleaner than mine. I need some fat or some bacon grease somewhere. Yeah, some crust and shit. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:19:32 I'm starting to see through the illusion. Let's go. You just got to take it for the information. Don't worry about what's true and what's not true. What's natty and what's not. You just have to take the information that you can find useful and run with that and disregard the rest. Let's go. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:19:51 On the steak. There we go. All right, good. Oh, my God. Okay, all right, all right. So then we get the lemon pepper. And Izzy taught me how to make a steak, but I don't know if she'll like my own little things I put on. All right, so did I shake this one? I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Okay, so anyway, we'll put this on. I don't think I shook it. So then, there you go. There's the steak. Oh, wow, what a good steak. And so, then after that, obviously, you got to turn the bitch over. And so, what you do there is you turn it. Oh, shit. So you turn it. Fuck. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:29 All right. No, no, no. We're good. We're good. We're good. We're good. I'm going to keep this one down just for a minute. Now, sometimes we're going to go for, I usually put a little bit more of this right here.
Starting point is 00:20:40 And we got, oh, that's the wrong one. What do we got going on calorie-wise? He said he has like five or six cookies in the morning. And then he's got like maybe like an eight-ounce steak right there. He didn't really mention other food. He did mention maybe McDonald's, right? How many calories are we looking at in SEMA with an eight-ounce steak and four or five cookies? Probably around 1,600 to 1,800 calories.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Because those cookies around, if it's five cookies, let's say they're pretty hefty cookies. So let's just say they're 500 calories, 100 calories each, right? Reasonable. This steak is probably going to be around cool 450, 500. So let's just say it again in 500, keep it simple. Potato. 1,000 calories.
Starting point is 00:21:21 The potato, it's a sizable potato, probably 200 calories in potato, maybe 250, but we'll say 200. So that's 1,000 calories. The potato. It's a sizable potato. Probably 200 calories in potato. Maybe 250, but we'll say 200. So that's 1,200 calories. Maybe 300 from the butter. 300 from the... Maybe 200 from the butter. 200. 200 calories from the butter.
Starting point is 00:21:37 4,300 calories in McDonald's. Depends on what he gets there, but that could be anywhere from him, minimum 600 plus 800 calories. So he could be at like 2200 to 2400 calories okay and for a guy that's six three you know but he is sitting a lot but he's probably moving more than we expect yeah this is not a bad amount of calories i'm just having like i'm having anxiety just looking at the fork because he's cooking it and then he just puts the fork right back on the pan.
Starting point is 00:22:06 So I'm like, man, when he picks that up, it's going to get hot. Yeah, Doug. And that's not a plastic. No, no, no, because last time it melted, remember? That's why you can't use plastic. Yeah. I wonder if he drinks his calories. And what is that in the background?
Starting point is 00:22:18 Some sort of like mixer or something like for pancakes or something? Yeah, it's a stand mixer. That's pretty sophisticated. Does he make his own cookies? He's got a toaster too and i don't know what that is foil paper probably tinfoil use that as a plate not a bad idea yeah i know some people are gonna think that i only get my i want to eat my steaks medium oh sorry not medium i my steaks medium. Sorry, not medium rare. I get steaks medium to medium well at restaurants. But at home, I only cook steaks well done. The reason for that is because I'm paranoid. I don't want to eat something that's bad.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Oh, man, that's a good-ass fucking steak, man. So anyway, you get it in the pan. You get all those sauces on it and you just really have yourself a good time um i'll have to take a picture of this one after the video let's go and so anyway let me put this back on and uh talk a little bit more about oh look at all those things i do yeah we're doing good and so anyway um so basically i take the steak and i just put it back on the pan up and down i i gotta um fucking uh shit okay so i'll probably have to like it's probably too hot uh just just a minute it's uh it's happening sometimes oh wow what. Man, he's cooking that for a long time.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Yeah. It's a very thin steak to cook that long. Cooking the shit out of it. This is such an odd video, man. One time I tried to make something else that wasn't a steak. It's important. Now I only make steak. We share this with you for World Carnivore Month.
Starting point is 00:24:04 I'll put this back in the refrigerator the only thing i have in the refrigerator uh is is cake um cake and steak i get uh i get cakes at the grocery store and i eat them so the steak's pretty much fucking done at this point. Another thousand calories. Yeah. The good thing about these steaks is that I get them and I cook them about the same time that the potato is getting microwaved. So this is a good, quick meal. Now, usually I eat steaks about six times a week with like one day being Chipotle. Actually's not true maybe two days being Chipotle some days that I do have Chipotle and a steak at the same time oh yeah I was gonna say yeah so I'm a pretty tall guy like 140 145 whoa six three 145 he said he's getting a little fat yeah
Starting point is 00:25:07 but i wanted what his legs look like because yeah he okay he has a little little tiny belly right but like what do his legs look like you're tall like yeah he must be pretty thin whoa interesting i wonder if that's on a scale though that he's or he's just assuming maybe he's just assuming because man that would be hard yeah i'm picturing like the six, though, or he's just assuming. Maybe he's just assuming. Because, man, that would be hard. Yeah. I'm picturing, like, the six, three people I know. It's just like 140. I feel like he's like 170 at least or 160.
Starting point is 00:25:33 He looks like he kind of has, like, a structure to him. He does. His shoulders don't look narrow and stuff. Yeah. Very interesting. Okay. I'm not a big food eater, so this might not seem like a big meal to you but to me this is delicious and it's great
Starting point is 00:25:49 the reason why I like steaks so much is because of the fact that I just think that they taste really good I'm actually really glad that they're easy to make because if they weren't easy to make I would never eat them. Sometimes they'll take me out for a business dinner and you order a $200 steak and it's on the company card, so fuck them. But besides that, we're talking about $7 steak packs on a daily basis.
Starting point is 00:26:24 I mean, we're talking about $7 steak packs on a daily basis. Usually I go to the grocery store. I get steaks. I get potatoes. I get cookies. Oh, yeah. There's these new Dr. Peppers that have like real sugar in them. They're pretty good.
Starting point is 00:26:40 So I get those two. I thought they used to say no sugar. Yeah. Sometimes I get the curveball. You can go to say no sugar. Yeah. Sometimes I get the – There's a curveball. You can go with those vanilla ones. Those things are amazing. You have that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:50 Oh, yeah. Yeah, I do. So this is also one of my special snacks. So maybe he does like around 3,000 calories a day. Yeah. I have – Is that Yoplait? What is that? It kind of looks like it. It looks like a yogurt. He's goingoplait? What is that?
Starting point is 00:27:05 It kind of looks like it. It looks like a yogurt. He's going to tell us what it is. That's my April 22. Okay, so we're going to throw these away. Anyway, so yeah, these are like yogurt things, and it has like strawberry and blueberry, and it's frozen. I've never seen the movie
Starting point is 00:27:30 Anyway So the steak is pretty much done So if you want to take a look I'll show you the steak This is a this is this looks like a good ass fucking steak so you take a look at this look at it you can literally see it's like steaming this is it's emanating power out from it is making me hungry yeah so you have that's obviously a steak i got issues this is a delicious this is gonna be a delicious steak i can't wait to eat this one so i was watching a uh an anime and uh which one i saw it because i got crunchy roll because i wanted to watch uh fist of the north star and uh you know i'm a big jojo fan
Starting point is 00:28:13 and uh heard it was inspired by that oh i put oh fuck um so anyway i had. And so I saw this fucking anime. It was called My Stepmom's Daughter is My Ex. My Stepdaughter's Daughter is My Ex. Is this like a hentai that he was watching now? Yeah, what's he getting into? Hey now. Let's play. What are we watching? First episode.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Is he starting to laugh? I watched the first episode as a meme. And I'm on episode seven now. Let's put this stuff away. I try to put the stuff that i'm not using away that's responsible no real reason for that it's just that it's a pain in the dick to use the microwave uh if if there's something in the way yeah that's basically about it and so now i
Starting point is 00:29:20 have uh paper plates right in front of me, and these are, let's see. Okay. These are really, these are the high quality. You know, people ask me, like, what do you do now that you, you know, you're streamed as well and you make money? Well, these paper plates, there's only like 30 of them, and it was like $5. So these are the hard, real so these are the these are the hard real this these are the same paper plates so he stepped it up a notch with his money so on the paper plates get the paper plate here you put the steak right there on the plate and then let's get
Starting point is 00:30:00 the uh all the potato so you put the potato right here also on the plate. Where's the butter? Do I have a knife? Oh, yeah, yeah. I need to get another knife. I'm running out of battery on my phone because I didn't charge my phone. This is on his phone. So this video is going to have to be over kind of soon because because i also want to eat the steak and so i'm going to just
Starting point is 00:30:26 cut this open real quick just so you guys can see what we're all about and so you cut that potato open that's a good looking potato oh man look at that and so you see this right here This is what we eat pretty much every day. I've never gotten sick. I've never had a bad, like, I've never gotten sick after eating a steak. I've never felt bad after eating a steak. Okay. I'm a simple man.
Starting point is 00:31:00 I live a simple life. I like steak and fucking potato. And I don't care if it's a cheap steak. It's a good fucking steak. It's good enough for me. Let's go. That's some motivation right there. That was so good. I usually leave the kitchen
Starting point is 00:31:17 area. This is the pan here. As you can see, it's dirty. So what we do is I just put water on it i was gonna say you got at least put water on that it's gonna be a nightmare and i do that because this makes it to where like it's easy to get the stuff off and then i just leave it on the counter until the next steak time will probably be tomorrow so yeah i wanted to share kind of uh what tactic what i'm
Starting point is 00:31:48 doing and and kind of how i make these steaks and everything i know a lot of people ask about it uh this was a method um izzy taught me how to make steaks and she probably will not be happy with some of the little twists that i put on it but i think I'm doing great and I also use a one for my steaks I've been using a one for a long time this one is empty I left it down here to remind myself to get more a one I have four more bottles upstairs and I think one of them has actually isn't no it's two of them that are empty and then there's two that are not yeah Yeah, yeah, because the other one is like a different kind of A1.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Yeah, so anyway, I use A1 with my steak. So anyway, guys, I wanted to do this video and kind of show you all how it's done. Yo. You know, he said he never got sick. I think partially, it's just his surroundings aren't necessarily the
Starting point is 00:32:43 cleanest, is what he says and he's got exposure exactly it makes perfect sense the things that are damn near nuclear i mean you think about the hypochondriac types who like everything needs to be clean and disinfected and they're like the weakest people with the weakest immune system he's uh yeah exposed to stuff 24 7 who do you think out of the three of us would stand the best chance of moving in with this guy and living with him for a month you i'd say you i would definitely say you because you guys would just be looking around and be like damn it's like i don't have another roommate it's perfect yeah hey this cup was sitting in there i just went to the bathroom had old coffee
Starting point is 00:33:27 just rinsed it off real quick and then i put my drink in here you know why because you guys are basically the same person strong immune system strong immune system you just use an air fryer though yeah you're sophisticated dude he should get an air fryer he did teach a valuable lesson about the pan for the young kids out there. I mean, first of all, people don't cook in their home. So I know this is like fun and funny and stuff, but it is important for people to learn how to cook. So the more videos that are out there showing people how simple it can be because a 12-year-old kid can handle that just fine. Cook up chicken, cook up steak, whatever it might be.
Starting point is 00:34:02 Easy. And then also, yeah, you got to put water on your you know it's the one of the biggest offenders is a cereal bowl if you have if someone has cereal in the house and they don't put water in the cereal bowl when they're done it's like all crusted in there man that shit's hard to wash off eggs are another big one that's yep and the and the pan like if you don't like whoever cooks something you have to you gotta get that pan at least in the sink with some water on it that's i mean that's lazy still but like do that at least that took me a little bit of a while you know to get the hang of but i
Starting point is 00:34:34 did get the hang of that yeah you're fine in our household we separate the responsibilities she does the dishes i pick up the dog poop it's like it's fair you know what i mean we have three dogs so there's a lot of shit to pick up. That is a lot. Yeah, I liked his speech. It got me kind of fired up for Carnivore Month. He's just like this. Got you all wired.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Yeah, this steak is cheap and it's delicious or whatever he said. It was really good. Yeah, he was saying it's for him, right? He likes the flavor of it, likes the taste of it, and that's all you got to do to be able to cook. On another note, you know, since it is World Carnivore Month, I made a post and I was just encouraging
Starting point is 00:35:08 people. I mean, people can do this carnivore stuff whatever way they want. We talk about it a bunch on the show. We're not necessarily, I haven't found it any more beneficial to lean into the carnivore-ness any further than primarily making my main source of calories just comes from meat. And then I have some other calories that come from a couple other things. And sometimes people are like, that's not carnivore. But really what I'm just trying to encourage people to do is to stack up two or three days, two or three days of carnivore and maybe a day off, or maybe just a
Starting point is 00:35:42 meal off. Two or three days, repeat off two or three days repeat two or three days repeat it would just be valuable for a lot of people to see what it could do for them especially people that have really struggled with their weight and struggled with diets previously yeah and with this type of video like eating does not have to be a super complex thing or cooking for yourself does not have to be a complex thing fucking stab stab your potato put in the microwave and if you have a pan cool but if you have an air fryer an air fryer makes it so easy to cook so many different types of meat if you're not for some reason you don't like steak which i hope you do but if you don't like steak even chicken sometimes people have a problem cooking different types of chicken the air fryer if you get you're like the ninja foodie grill
Starting point is 00:36:21 right it has a setting in there for chicken and it has a setting in there for different types of meats. You can cook your steak literally however you want it cooked. Andrew, if you pull it up like the Ninja Foodi grill XL or whatever, it legit has a thermometer which you can stick in your steak. And then if you want it medium well, if you want it medium rare, whatever you want, you can cook it immediately. It takes no effort, no effort at all. And I'm that type of guy. Yeah, you just set it and walk It takes no effort, no effort at all. And I'm that type of guy. Yeah, you just set it and walk away and it will do the rest for you. I think for some people, sometimes the cooking thing can end up being like a hobby where people get like way into it and they want to get – they want to get – yeah, they want to get like way into it and dress their food up a bunch of different ways. But even something like a sous vide,
Starting point is 00:37:05 like which sounds like a really hard thing to do. It's just a thing that you put in a pot. It makes the water a certain temperature. You put steak in a bag and you dunk it in there and it cooks it to perfection every single time. You don't have to be a chef. You don't need to know how to cook. You have to just take it out
Starting point is 00:37:25 of the bag after it's been sitting in there for, depending on how much meat you got or whatever, it's usually about an hour. And then you just, you're going to notice that the steak looks raw. So you're going to want to, you know, sear it on like a grill or in a pan. It's very, like a lot of these things are very simple and putting something in the air fryer, putting something people don't ever really use their oven. If you have an air fryer, there's not as much reason to use an oven. So it's understandable because it's so much faster than the oven. Yeah. But an oven is a really easy way to make, you know, to cook up some food.
Starting point is 00:38:01 You can buy a bunch of chicken thighs, throw some Montreal seasoning on there, throw that bitch in the oven. And like 25, 30 minutes later, you have an entire like tray of chicken. It's fucking awesome. Or whatever seasoning you want to put on there, a Buffalo wing sauce or whatever the hell it is you want to use.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Yeah. My girl loves, okay. So she, she eats a ton of ground beef so she will legit just like fucking let it thaw out on the you know on the counter and then just stick olive in the air fryer stab it put seasoning on it and just let it cook like that's what she does and then she just puts in the little baggies and goes about her business you know what i mean so
Starting point is 00:38:39 like cooking all of this stuff or making healthy food first off is not that expensive and it is not difficult to do. It really doesn't have to be difficult. Eating meat out of a bag. What an attractive woman. That's awesome. Yo. That's pretty hot.
Starting point is 00:38:54 The carnivore, Sean Baker, that's how he cooks his food in a sous vide. He plans it well in advance, right? He's like, you getting hungry? Like, yeah, sure. He's like, okay, we'll have food ready in like an hour or whatever. So he cooks it in there and then he uses that Auto Wild flame broiler grill thing. So it's already cooked and then he just sears it in that thing. What is this?
Starting point is 00:39:17 It's 1,500 degrees, kind of like what they do at the – so they do that at a lot of restaurants. That's how restaurants have a big advantage or leg up on us average folk is that they have ways of getting stuff really, really fucking hot. Your pan might get – I'm just going to take a stab and say your pan gets to 300 or 400 degrees. Some of this stuff can get to be 1,200 degrees, 1,600 degrees, and you just get a way different type of – your food gets cooked completely differently. So if you were to take a ribeye and cook it on something that's like 1,500 degrees, it's going to get seared and like crusted. The fat's going to get like crusted on there, and it's unbelievable. That thing is kind of tricky to use but um uh sean has a lot of experience he's been using that thing for years using it every day wow i don't wow it looks like it's an expensive device am i tripping or it's expensive okay okay
Starting point is 00:40:17 but yeah i mean you don't need that you can just use a uh pan like here you can fucking get it. Whoa. Yeah, so it does get pretty messy. But look at that. Yeah. Yeah, the sizzle. The sizzle at the end. It's like unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:40:37 Yeah, they're pricey. But, you know, if this is like a hobby, if this is something that's important to you, you know, you're going to probably try to do whatever you can to get the best taste in shit. Andrew, why don't you take us on out of here, buddy? Sure thing. Thank you, everybody, for checking out this awesome video that we just checked out with. I can't pronounce his name. Asmongold.
