I'm gonna come.
Whatever you want, doesn't matter.
Ireland, New York, Brooklyn or Moscow.
Doesn't matter.
Tell me.
Where?
That's not fucking good enough.
My fucking final.
Nig, the fuck.
Big!
Right fucking now!
Come on.
Let's do it, come on.
There is no tomorrow.
There is no tomorrow.
No tomorrow.
There is nothing to save myself for or give myself too.
I fight because I know nothing else.
Oh, look at this as you.
The Michigan most ruthless champion that's ever been.
Who's one more?
What to carry?
Welcome to Ramadi is you're going to go and pay your respect to some guys who just killed.
And there's firefights in the city.
So we're just across the river from the city.
There's firefights in the city all day.
There's firefights in the city all night.
It was legit combat.
Though you may lose the battle, you refuse to lose the war.
Reach the point of no in time, my friend,
where you're always willing to give more.
That fact that you have the ability to do something
and you're too weak to fucking turn the key
and start the engine on it
is a greater disappointment
and a greater burden to carry
than any of this physical sweat equity
or pain in the gym or swore or sacrifice.
All that is just,
I was going to rip his heart out. I'm the best ever. I'm the most brutal of Michigan, most ruthless champion there's ever been.
I'll show you how much you can truly burn.
They left you for dead. I know what that feels like to be left for dead after you gave anything you had.
Tomorrow night, I'm going to smash your boy, guys. I'm going to smash your boy.
Coming as you rise, as you work every single day, tirelessly.
weakness. It is my strength. That pain, it is my development. That struggle. It is my trial.
Everything you think that is here to take me down is here to fill me up. I ask you what is happening to us,
what is happening to us? And what are we become?
What are we becoming my friend?
What are we ever?
You know we've been fighting 400 steel fighting to this day.
To this day!
To this day!
I have practiced from twitch my mind to something else.
Maximus, Desmus, Meridius, and Gladiator,
picking up the dirt, smelling the dirt.
I never underdid things, always overdid things.
When the war drum sounds, the people that have been to war are the ones that actually say,
let's think about this first.
because like I said before
and like everyone says all the time
and they say it like it's no big deal
but war is hell
before you do that
you should think about why you're doing it
and understand if
the people
have the will to fight
and the will to fight
as I've said many times before
the will to fight is the will to kill
and it's the will to die
and those are some pretty big wills
that you need to have
this is your life, my life.
friend. And I'm sure when it's all said and done, you don't want to look back and see that you
wasted it. This is your life, my friend, so you stand up. This is your life, my friend, so you rise up.
This is your life, my friend, so you keep going. This is your life, my friend, so you never
give up. This is your life, my friend. You need to keep going. This is your life, my friend.
This is why you take control. Oh, you may fail. You refuse to tolerate.
So you may fall, you refuse to stay down.
Though you may lose the battle, you refuse to lose the war.
Reach the point in no return, my friend, where you're always willing to get more.
My style is impetuous.
My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious.
I want your heart.
I want to eat his children.
Me, all in the same room, ain't saying nothing to each other.
Everybody's game-fated.
Like, we're going to war with each other.
The way I looked back then, you know, that was all good and great, but I wasn't in it to look a certain way.
I was in it to be great.
Out of the hundred men that go into war, ten shouldn't you fucking be there.
80 of them are just targets.
Nine do most of fighting.
One is a warrior.
And bodybuilding initially made me have to look at who I am as an individual.
Do I want to do the training?
Okay, fine, I can train.
But do I really want to diet?
Do I really want to give up time with friends?
Do I want to be misunderstood?
All humans are not created equal.
Some people just have a beautiful hand of cards.
Yes.
That guy's got four aces, and he puts them right in your face.
Boom!
I know if I bet on myself, I know I can dictate everything.
I run everything.
I'm the boss.
Take 10 seconds.
Get it again, Beas.
There you go.
There you go. Energy. Let it out. Seven. Hey, nine. Ten, machine here. There you go. Nobody works like David in this house. 13. Come on. Fourteen. Come on. 15. Shut that muscle down. 16. Come on. Get it. 17.
Who's going to carry the boats and the lawns. Put yourself in that cage. When you're in that cage, you are that character.
And when you leave there, it's something completely different.
But when I'm in that cage, bro, don't touch me, don't talk to me.
Leave me alone.
Push that last rep.
Push with everything you got.
Tell excuses to step aside.
That weakness note that it is not welcome in your house.
And give it everything you got.
Be productive.
Be powerful.
And from the bottom of my heart, conduct your business.
I'm scared to death.
I'm totally afraid. I'm afraid of everything. I'm afraid of losing. I'm afraid of being humiliated.
But I'm totally confident.
Close I get to the ring, the more confidence I get.
The closer, more confidence I get. The closer and more confidence I get.
All during my training, I've been afraid of this man.
I thought this man might be capable of beating me.
I've dreamed of him beating me.
But I always stayed afraid of him.
But as close I get to the ring, I'm more confident.
Once I'm in the ring, I'm a guard.
No one could beat me.
That's all I needed for him to do that.
And it became personal with me.
For me, anger was good.
Anger was good because it was motivated.
The more I could create an enemy,
the more I wanted to go out and kill those guys.
Oh, boy.
God.
I'm gonna kill your dreams.
I want to kill your dreams.
Like I told him, I'm gonna lie.
I'm the king of the jungle.
And compare every 27, we're gonna rip his head off his body.
If you don't go in here blindly,
going to do you the fucking purpose, mentally believing it, like Muhammad Ali.
He called himself the greatest fighter before he ever won something. He believed it.
All of you chums are going to bow when I whip him. All of you, I know you got him.
I know you got him, dick, but the man's in trouble. I'm going to show you how great I am.
But I didn't listen to those losers. I didn't listen to them at all.
Because that's exactly the way it was in politics again. And everyone said, no, no, no.
and it can't be done, and then became governor of California.
And this is with everything like that.
This is just the reality of it is that you cannot listen to the naysayers.
So this is a very important lesson for all of you.
So when someone says, no, this is a stupid idea.
You in your mind, you don't have to say it, but in your mind just say this,
you're a fuck you, you're an asshole.
Who do you know?
But you have not sacrificed, you have not suffered, you are not committed.
When you are committed, you give everything you have.
Every single week, every single day, every single hour, every single minute, 720 hours a month,
you are beating on your craft.
An undying will, commitment, the effort, even then you get knocked down, get back up,
you get that cuff, you get that coming, and you continue to touch up against the wall.
Because you believe in the purpose, you find value in.
Day in and day out, you got to keep on thriving, you got to keep on work.
And if you get knocked down, so what?
That's a great divide.
Those people who get up on those days and everything's stuff is still driving, separated right there.
Game on the line.
Who would take the last shot?
Me.
That's not a question.
When it's time, when it's war time, you've got to get up and make it happen.
You feel great.
your body's not injured
those are the easy days to
conquer
but who are you on those
days
when all hell's broke loose
your body's f***ed up
you're sore
you're depressed
you're miserable
you're the favorite person at school
might be getting bullied
might be falling behind
in life
who are you on those days
when shit's all f***ed up
You made it about your girlfriend last time.
You made it about your boyfriend last time.
You made it about your kids last time.
And your kids started acting up and then you let the dream go.
It's got to start with you and God first.
Listen, God put a gift inside of everybody.
And it's our responsibility to re to reach it to the world.
There was times back when I was backstage and I see a mirror.
I turned my head, you know, when I walked past you,
because I didn't want to know how I looked.
Because I was never in it to look a certain way.
I was in it to be good and to be great.
The way I looked back then, you know, that was all good and great,
but I wasn't in it to look a certain way.
I was in it to be great.
Let me tell you something, my friend,
because of your downfall,
we'll be because of you.
Nobody else but you.
You keep looking around, trying to place blame on things, people,
everything else instead of looking in the mirror at oneself and looking at who caused this in the first place
you close the door in yourself because you are afraid to look within yourself and see who did it my friend
you are the one but you have the key to unlock that door and become something more they lost the fight
before they even got hit most guy I knew I knew the um artist god degree these guys I knew how to beat these guys
psychologically before I even got in the ring with them.
What it really comes down to is people just don't want it baddened.
Because I've seen countless examples of people that will say they don't have time,
but say they don't know how.
But when something becomes important enough for them, they figure it out.
Walk around the ring, but I never take my eyes off my opponent.
I keep my eyes on him.
Even if he's ready and pumping, he can't wait to get his hands on me as well.
I keep my eyes on him. I keep my eyes on him.
I keep my eyes on them.
Then once I see a chink in the arm, boom,
one of the eyes made move, and then I know I have them.
Because coming back from a martial arts background,
I understood I can learn from anyone.
It could be a guy in a gym next door to me, that's training.
And I was still different parts from everyone.
It fits me, I take this part from this guy, this part from that guy.
It ain't nothing like having your hard work pay off.
Because, you know, when I put myself
to a task of doing something, I go all out, you know.
Recognize that if you're living, if you're breathing, then you've got work to do.
And if you fall down, get back up.
If you're quick, you're done.
Because you can't go back.
And you definitely shouldn't be trying to start over.
Start up with the right mindset and get it done.
Don't you quit.
You fight.
You push, you work.
When the sun comes up, you've got all the books, you've got all the tapes, you've got all the access.
Now it's time to hunt.
And what separates you from everybody else is that when it's time to hunt, you're ready to hunt.
During the fight, I'm supremely confident.
I'm moving my head.
He's throwing punches.
I'm making the miss, and I'm countering.
I'm hitting him to the body.
I'm punching real hard.
And I'm punching, and when I'm punching, and I know he's not able to take my punches.
One, two, three punches.
I'm throwing him up.
bunches and bunches. He goes down, he's out. I'm victorious. Mike Tyson, greatest fighter ever lived.
Every time I go in a fucking game to come out, I got a new scratch. It became personal with me.
You gonna do this? Okay, fine. That's all I needed. That's all I needed for him to do that. And it became personal with me.
For me, anger was good. Anger was good because it was motivating. The more I could create an enemy, the more I could create an enemy, the
more I wanted to go on and kill those guys.
I've been listening to them laugh my whole career.
An Irishman win a fight in the UFC.
Hell no, laugh.
Laugh's all around.
Hell no, he's all talk.
He's all hype.
He's a joke.
The sound of laughter and the sound of doubt motivates me.
I saw you celebrate my losses like I wasn't going to win again.
You got to want to be successful so bad that you forget to eat.
That's how bad you got to want.
I'm just wondering if you are bold enough, daring enough,
If you can believe in your dream again, if you can get committed, if you can make it personal.
It's personal.
Because it's about you.
It's personal.
It's personal.
It's personal.
It's personal.
It's person.
It's person.
It's person.
It's person.
It's personal.
As person.
Cush, and Cuts talk to me over and over again, over and over and over again.
Every night and every night for hours and hours, I just never had to worry about nobody ever bullied me again.
Because I know that would fucking kill them if they fucking do me.
You've got to create a lot of different emotion to height your sense of awareness and focus.
It's about you ultimately actively moving through your emotions rather than being stopped by them towards a goal.
I think when change hits and it's personal, that's when the perspective shift comes.
Get into something that's really personal. It means something to you.
I think that's the key to what we do. It's got to be personal.
It's up to you to carry on.
Remember you owe you something.
Continue to believe that.
We all have desires and dreams.
Make your dream a reality.
I'm talking concrete commitment.
The commitment that says,
can I stay true to what I said I would do
long after the mood that I've said it has left.
See, when you get personal,
when you make it personal,
everything changes.
Don't make it personal.
What a joke.
It has been a good.
personal when week after week I'm choked up fighting back tears with every sentence it's personal
I have waited my whole life I will wait no more that's why they say many a call few are chosen
who it's it's about it's about you have a vision of possibility for yourself that that has to do
with being great because I'm gonna make it personal because it's always been personal to me
So you found out that the secret sauce in your life is the guy in your mirror.
That it's not some outside variable that's going to come and save you.
The cavalry's not coming.
It's up to you, baby.
Get up off the couch.
I got to go leave the cave, kill something, and drag it home.
You've found that truth in that moment.
Despite my doubts and all of those sort of things,
I'm going to put my trust in that and try and go for things and not be scared to fail
and not be driven by fear and all those sort of things because it's personal.
It's about your journey, your goals.
Listen to me, you got it.
You have to eat the dream.
You have to sleep the dream.
You have to dream the dream.
You have to see it when nobody else sees it.
You have to feel it when it's not tangible.
You have to believe it when you cannot see it.
Do they have what it takes?
Are they willing to do whatever it takes?
a lot of people
give up
and that's just the
you know that's just the truth
come on there are too many people riding on you
you got a mother
she's been doing everything she can
to put food on the table
you got to do it for her
you got a father
that's counting on you
you got to do it for him
you got some siblings
that are watching you right now
you got to do it for them
but guess what else
you got to do it for you
because deep down in every human being
they want to see the greatest version of themselves
but most people quit
most people stop believing
it's personal
it's personal
no matter what challenges I face
no matter what the statistics are
I will maintain unwavering faith
that I can achieve the outcome that I want
and if I don't I'll be at peace with it
that was my why it's I'm willing
to do everything in my power
To fulfill my potential, become the best version of myself, it's an unwavering faith in possibility.
That's it.
You got to get fueled on the inside and say, now is my time.
And it's about you.
It's personal.
Yes.
It's about your core.
It's about your mindset.
What do you actually want?
How do you want all of your life to go?
I believe everything happens for a reason.
I think we get to choose the reason.
And I decide.
Nothing that you want will manifest itself unless you aim for it.
And you won't aim for it unless you know what it is,
and you won't know what it is unless you ask yourself.
And then you might say, well, why don't you ask yourself?
And the answer is, well, maybe no one ever explained to you that you needed to,
which is a crucial issue.
And then maybe you don't also trust yourself.
If you had the job or career track that would motivate you,
Just hypothetically, what might that look like?
This is dreams we're talking about.
We're talking about dreams.
It's just really rigid.
If you become the best, you have to almost become fanatical.
You know, this is my life.
This is all I live for.
This is my heir.
This is that me crazy.
Dreams require sacrifices.
People don't want to sacrifice.
Following your dreams is a lonely, solitary, scary,
You can't wait for somebody to think you can do it.
And when you get to the point where all you want to do is be successful, as bad as you want to breathe, then you'll be successful.
And I'm here to tell you number one that most of you say you want to be successful, but you don't want it bad.
You just kind of want it.
You don't want it bad than you want to party.
You don't want it as much as you want to be cool.
Most of you don't want success as much as you want to sleep.
Nobody knows but you.
But you, you can't get advice on what you should do with your life.
You take control of the circumstances.
You take control of the outcome.
You take control of your life.
It's in our hands.
It's on ours.
And nobody can make that decision for us.
It doesn't start with them and they.
It starts with me.
Whatever the fuck you're doing, just prove to yourself it's the shit that you want to be doing.
Build around that.
This is the only life that I have.
And I'm going to take the leap of faith.
I'm going to jump in it.
I must live what's in me.
And all of us have something in us that we must live.
And if we don't know what it is right now, we must create it or we must find it.
All of us have this, whatever this something is,
that gives our life that meaning, that value, that power, and that happiness.
See, when you get married to purpose, married to destiny, married to who you've been destined to be, everything changes.
It's not about external validation.
It's about your relationship to yourself.
And you know when your head hits the pillow at night and when you wake up in the morning what that relationship looks like.
It's not about them. It's about you.
