The link is in the description.
If I could go back, I'd tell younger me,
you're going to do some pretty great things,
but you do not need to be great.
All you have to do is be yourself.
That will always be enough.
You only start really liking stuff when you get good at it, in my opinion.
And you only get good at it by doing it a lot of times before you're good at it.
This is why I'm a big believer in this.
that when you are starting out,
I think you gotta find the thing that's the pain.
And like, pain motivates significantly faster
and stronger than pleasure does.
Because you're sad, now you're gonna make
a bunch of bad decisions because you're sad.
No, no, it doesn't work like that.
You're sad, okay.
You get emotional sometimes, okay.
Now get control of your emotions
and carry on with your life.
And sometimes you're gonna get hit with those waves.
And that's okay.
I don't like the trend in this circle,
men's motivation circle.
I don't like the,
hustle culture. I don't agree with it because I think it's out of balance. I think young men need to know
that hey, it's okay for you to sit down and to chill and to think. It's how you handle your
sufferings. You know, when you're going through something really challenging, how do you show up
within it? Do you choose to become a victim of complaining and misery and shitty or do you find
meaning in how you show up in the suffering.
Didn't think we're going to go here.
She has brought out the absolute best of me.
Like in just about every way.
She just, she believed them.
And I think that's what most guys were.
True.
That is true wealth, the knowledge that you have enough,
that you don't need to chase more,
and that if you do chase more,
it needs to be grounded in something more meaningful
than just chasing money.
If you are chasing ambition
because you're grounded in your purpose,
Because you want to go and create something meaningful for the world.
You want to go create a more meaningful life for your family
because you feel like you can spread ideas that will positively impact people.
That's a great reason to go and chase something bigger.
But chasing more money is just a road to nowhere.
The difference is how do you look at it?
How do you approach it?
How do you deal with it?
How do you admit it and see it for what it is?
And then what do you do about it?
What do you do about it?
You cry about it, you mope about it, you drink about it, you sleep around about it, you get mad and getting fights about it, you just hang around, just turn the world out, just zombie about it, you fry yourself of marijuana about it.
Say, Dwayne, I'm sad. Dude, that's a part of life. You think you're the only man on this planet that's sad?
Say, Dwayne, I'm going through depression.
Well, welcome to the world.
Welcome to the rest of us.
If you look at the stats around suicidality in the UK,
the thing that's most likely to kill someone
between the age of like 18 and 40 years themselves for a man.
Do we really not know what it is to be a good man?
And I would go so far as to say to be a good human being, right?
Because take responsibility for what you're doing.
Take ownership of your world.
Take ownership of your life.
Go try and accomplish something that's hard.
You may win.
You may lose.
You may succeed.
may fail, I'll tell you what, you'll be better. If you avoid those things that are hard,
if you don't accept that challenge, if you don't step up and step into that cold water,
and you sit on your couch and eat Doritos, I can tell you this is not a good move. This is not a
good move. Don't do that. Don't do that. Just get up. Move towards that challenge, whatever that challenge is.
move towards that challenge and go attack it
is wake up stop sleeping on yourself
step into your authenticity
step into your intelligence and your brilliance
release your gift
God has given you something great
release it to the earth
whatever that goal is whatever that insurmountable feet has been
whether there's weight loss financial mindset relational
I don't care what it is career
to be a CEO or an investor whatever it is
You did it done. This is not the year. You sleep in yourself.
There's nothing going to stop me.
If you didn't make me, you can't break me.
If you didn't make the sun come up, you can't stop me.
If you didn't make the moon shine at night, you can't stop me.
My purpose, my will, my dedication, my motivation is all about doing the business.
Because guess what, ladies and gentlemen, that's what I'm about.
I'm about that business. I'm about that life.
What are you about?
Man up. Stop crying.
My teacher don't like you.
Maybe you're disrespectful
Why don't say she don't like you
Go look in the mirror and take full ownership
Why does she not like me?
You're watching LeBron make his dreams become a reality
You're watching the black mumble make his dreams become right
If you put the same time LeBron put in
And I started studying and I realized there was an African-American male
I need to get a master's degree in a PhD in order to do what I'm doing
And guess what I had to get up even though it was hard
And I had to take ownership of a first
my life, take ownership of my time, take ownership of my day.
Change happens when the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain of making a change.
Like, if you are angry, use it. If you are sad, use it.
Because like, what else are you gonna do with it? Like, you might as well let it help you.
Like, or it uses you. There's a moment when every boy realizes no one's coming to save him.
And that's when he becomes a man.
man and some boys never get there and stay children forever no one's effing coming to save you no one's
going to make you better at your business no one is going to get you to be a better persuader of people
or framer of people other than you there's a lot of grown men and women that are still boys and
girls because they think someone else is coming to change their life the only thing that's valuable
guys is how you see yourself in the mirror how you look at your shableness and you're shableness
of life and are you happy walking next to it?
No one's coming. No one's coming everyone. No one. Nobody is coming to take responsibility
for your dreams. Nobody is coming and gonna get that project done that you've been thinking
about doing. No one is coming to grow your business, to heal your pain, to improve your marriage,
or to make more money for you. It is up to you. It is always been up to
you. Your life is your responsibility. So what? You slip up, you fall down. Big deal! That doesn't mean you
stop. Do you give up or do you keep going? No one else forgives you. Learn to forgive yourself.
Hold yourself up. When everybody else says no, you say yes. It's time to take ownership.
You want your clothes watch mama. Make the boy wash his clothes. Teach him out of separate the
colors from the white. Mama, let your boy cook. Teach him out of cook. Let him take
ownership, make him go grocery shopping. He said, well, he'll not a cook like me. Give him at least
a day then. Give him two days. Take ownership. Teach him how to change the oil. Make him put gas
in the car. Ownership. I love my daughter the light, but when we go, when we go to the gas
station, my baby girl get out. My baby girl, get out and pump the gas. And somebody says,
Why you make your queen to be?
Why you make her pump gas?
Because I need to teach her one day I might die on this plane
and she need to know how to put the gas in the car.
And I was thinking about all the things you got
from your time in the Seals.
And it's almost a bit of like a microcosm
of what I think a lot of men are looking for.
You know, that sense of purpose, that brotherhood.
And they find it these days in like video games and stuff, right?
Which are video games, I've got no, you know,
I cost no judgment on people that play video games.
I've played video games my whole life.
But it seems like there's a reason we're getting,
like increasingly addicted to these video games
because they're giving us something that we're searching for
in real life and not getting.
You use the words brotherhood, purpose.
These are things that the seals clearly have in huge amounts.
Is there anything else that you'd add to that list
of what it takes to feel fulfilled?
Yeah, Jiu-Jitsu.
It almost says become a joke amongst me, my friends,
people that listen to me,
is you've got some kind of a problem in the world,
You got some kind of problem in your life?
Go train jih Tzu.
There's a reason why I say that.
Because the things that you just mentioned, discipline.
Guess what you need to go train jih Tzu
when you're tired and you don't feel like it?
Discipline.
Guess how you feel when you're done?
You feel awesome.
You get a bunch of dopamine.
Guess who you're there with.
A bunch of dudes that you can relate to.
And guess what you're going to do together?
You're going to struggle.
You're going to go through some hardship together.
You're going to sweat.
You're going to choke.
You're going to.
get your arm broken like those things are going to happen not going to get your arm broken but you may or
you're going to you're going to be with a little brotherhood and by the way women train jihitsu too
my daughter's all trained jihitsu it's all good it's all good so yeah jiu jitsu is one way now look
could you go to the rock climbing gym yes you could could you go to the crossfit gym yes you could
could you go to the to the soccer field football field whatever yeah yeah yeah
you can do that stuff so yeah go do that stuff go do that stuff that's shared suffering together
with a group on a regular basis whether you want to or not that's some that that's those are all
little components of being in the military being in the seal teams that's what it is that's what you're doing
what does the seal platoon do they train to get ready for go to war how do they do that they go to the
desert they carry their guns they run through little choreographed moves they get
They get hot, they carry weight.
It's suffering.
It's just shared suffering, and they're working together.
And they're learning skills.
That's what you're doing in a jitzy gym.
That's what you're doing on the soccer field.
So go out and do those things with other human beings,
and it's going to make things better for sure.
Let's show me very closely.
Make these boys grow up.
Sellers, take ownership.
Don't you ever say you don't have something because of what somebody's doing.
So I need you take ownership of your time, of your what?
Of your mind, of your what?
Well, come on, y'all playing.
I used to get so mad at Jalen. Jalen would get up.
I knew it was football day because he'd get up 6 o'clock in the morning.
His uniform was ready, his shoes was ready, and he would eat breakfast.
I'm like, what's going on?
He's like, game day.
Friday night lights, game day.
And I would be so upset.
And he's like, why you hating on me?
You hating on me, Dad?
Like, you can't stand.
I'm gonna be a football player.
I'm going to leave you.
You hate on me.
I said, I'm not hating on you.
But what I hate is that the energy for school and the energy for life,
life you don't have the same energy for that you got for football and girls all I'm
asking for is the same energy you put in sports I'm asking for the same thing in terms
of your mind those that you face today that prepare you for tomorrow's wars
you're gonna find peace from going to war with yourself can we all got shit the
celebration was I can start the war now it wasn't that I won the war I can start my
war that's what made me that's what I've been celebrated since
I'm always in that battle.
Nobody believes in you.
You've lost again and again and again.
The lights are cut off, but you're still looking at your dream,
reviewing it every day and say to yourself,
it's not over until I win.
Congratulations.
You achieve failure.
Now, the only place to go from failure is to win.
You have to achieve failure.
You have to take it that.
far. Nobody wants to go that far. It's too scary. You know something? I got news for you.
That's where winning is. It always has been. Nothing's changed since the 70s. Nothing.
There comes a day where being average, being mediocre, it's just sickening to you.
It's just sickening. It makes you want to throw up. There comes a fucking day where push comes a
shelf. We're being mediocre, being like average and shit just fucking burns. It sucks so much.
You can't deal with it one more day and you get off your fucking ass and you create something.
It's always been there.
I know what that feels like.
I live down there.
That's what my granddad used to tell me.
When I used to walk in those projects, I look down and see pipes.
I'll see bullets.
I'll see blood stains.
I looked in the sky, I saw my dreams.
I saw my opportunity.
Look, you try to argue yourself out of pain and see how far you get.
You might think, well, that's not the sort of meaning I meant.
It's like, you know, a negative meaning is a place to start, right?
Because if something's negative and it's real, it does imply that there's something positive that's real.
It might be harder to get a hold of.
At least it's not pain.
I would gladly relive everything I have been through, provided I had this outcome.
Because who I am now and what I offer the world, I wouldn't want to give that up.
to avoid going through those dark days or the pain I went through.
I think it was all worth it to turn me into who I am now.
I was an absolute excruciating pain.
But what motivated me, to do that whole process,
was the fact that this kid came from that.
I'm in the hardest training in the world
in the worst shape of my entire life.
What if I can graduate amongst these stuff?
amongst these studs.
Wow.
The pain.
It won't stop.
The suffering.
It won't cease.
And it's hard to see it.
It's hard to see a better outcome for yourself, my friend.
I understand.
But look, if you just believe, my friend,
and you keep believing, and you hold on to that belief,
brighter days are coming.
Weather through the storm, my friend.
weather through the pain and I promise you you will come out victorious you just have to keep
believing my friend you know can I get to that level I don't know but let's find out
on the other side of your fear is a fulfilled destiny and do you want it whatever your
giant may be name the giant you will defy me no more you will defy me no more you will defy
me no more you will defy me no more if people don't understand that and worse
than that they're intimidated by that and even worse they try to discredit that
because they do not have the level of passion and obsessiveness obsessiveness to get
to that level so they figure the best thing to do is to tear that level down
that's fucked up what a warrior is is this a person is willing to die for an
ideal
You know, and for me it's freedom, right?
It's compassion, it's humility, it's humanity.
I'm willing to fight for all these things.
David ran toward the Philistine.
David ran towards the army.
Eliath must fall.
There's a lot of internal battles.
And let me tell you, the worst type of battles are not a battle with anybody else outside.
The worst, most painful, frustrating battles I've ever faced in my life is me against me.
Biggest.
It's never been against anybody else.
everybody else, it's been me against me. It's been Pat versus Pat. It's been the biggest
battles of my life is Pat versus Pat. Be brave, be strong. Come for the head of your giant.
However big, however tall, however strong, it will no longer defy you. You will not cower in darkness.
At the end of it all, if you can sit back and wait, if you can wait, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, twelve years,
When you get to that point when you finish, that's the feeling for 12 years.
Let's say wait 12 years to get there.
That's what keeps you going is you got to feel I want, I'm doing it for one second.
Years of pain.
For one second.
One second.
Think about it.
I put the work into this like every day, all day.
And then when I'm done with it, guess what I do?
I dream about it.
I visualize it.
I see myself being successful.
I see myself hitting those shots with no time on the clock, with a little time on the clock.
And then I'll do it again and say, hey, what if we're down two?
Then I'll do it again and say, what if we're down three?
You know, it's a never-ending game.
Everything worth having in life needs to be earned.
You've got to go out there with a relentless mindset and put 120% effort in,
every single fucking day. No matter what, no matter how you feel, no matter the circumstance,
you gotta show the fuck up and earn it. And if you don't attack every day with that mindset,
number one, you will never achieve it. And number two, you don't fucking deserve to in the first
place. We must put on that suit of armor and prepare ourselves for battle.
Yes, every battle cannot be won. But the winning attitude
To not give up, it's more than enough to carry on.
These battles that we face each and every day of our lives,
they will continue to come.
And you will not win every battle.
And the battles that you face will help you to get stronger.
Because even if you lose a battle,
and you're still breathing, and you're still walking,
And you're still able to make moves,
then you still have enough fight left to carry away.
I just know when people go all in on the thing they love,
magical things start to happen.
Maybe it doesn't happen right away, but magical things start to happen.
It's almost like, what if you obsessed and went all in on these things?
What could you create?
We're running at 40% most of us, you know,
because we're half in and half out.
And it's not surprising because life is difficult.
It's like, well, what if you were 90% in or 95% in or all in?
Because you're all in anyways, right?
It's a life and death game.
No one gets out of this.
Everyone dies.
You might as well commit yourself.
We all live in our bubble.
My therapist calls it the lifeboat.
We all live in our lifeboat, right?
But we're all on the same ocean.
So depending on how good your lifeboat is, you weather the storm or not.
Because if you're not willing to go,
in there and face yourself. I can find anything. You can live right here on surface, man,
right here on surface. Don't half acid. Boy, that never goes out of style, does it? I mean,
think about it, if you're going to do something, if you've chosen to do something, whatever,
it's easy, hard. If you give it your all and you don't have acid, win, lose, draw, get
what you want, don't get what you want, whatever the outcome is, if you don't have
facet, at least you're not going to have to wonder,
ooh, would the outcome have been different?
I feel like we spend too much of our lives waiting on life to happen.
Sometimes we need to start being in a life instead of trying to see it.
This is my belief.
When you go all in on something and you truly believe in your heart,
this is what you're meant to do, and you let go of something,
you're like, ah, but I don't want to lose this,
because what if they're going to be a great partner in the future?
What if they're going to be a great parent?
Well, they show these qualities that could, maybe they could work out for me.
as opposed to no, going all in on the thing that you know you're meant to do.
So it's today of the day, right?
The biggest fear they have is making a mistake.
Right?
They don't want to be seen stupid.
They don't want to lose status as a result of this decision.
And so when we're dealing with that, it's making them understand that you don't need time to make a decision.
You need information.
But so many people are stuck in that same spot for why they're not taking action, whether it's selling a product or selling themselves.
Don't you get it?
Do all the bumps in the road and the stormy way.
the heart of a champion they can never measure.
That's why you have to be all in.
So there is an ending to this world and there is somewhere to go and there's a judgment.
You're going to get there and you might see a chart.
And that chart may tell you who the fuck you should have been.
And now you get the rest of your life to think about that.
Man, I could have lived a much better life.
I just would have just suffered a little bit more.
If I just would have went in that shit and realized I had so much more,
but fear in the 40% in living here versus living here, being afraid, stop me.
I struggle.
So that's the language I'm great at.
So if I can break down things into a struggle language, now I make it the game winnable for everybody.
And that's the goal to make the game winnable for everybody who's bold enough to step into the batting cage.
If you bold enough to do that, I was bold enough to jump in a goddamn 152-foot tank with
sharks in Dubai.
If you're bold enough to do it, there's an experience that comes from that.
And that experience is so exhilarated, it will take you to the next level.
Because now you keep chasing the next level of you.
And that is when you start understanding life.
I had a whole other concept when you start understanding that, yo, for the longest,
I was just low-level living.
I was low-level thinking.
There's going to be days when you're aching and tired.
and sore and there's people in your family that are sick and you're cynical and bitter and you need a reason to get up and you think yeah well a little more heaven and a little less hell maybe i can pull that off today and tomorrow and next week and that's where it's struggling forward for
let's play this out right it's not going to go the way you think it's going to go because if you keep repeating this habit you're going to end up five years from here you're going to look at your life the same way you're looking at it now and hating it but i just want to remind everybody that i didn't make a video to the world about anything about business
until I was 35 years old.
I'm very excited about this.
I plan on doing this four to five times a week.
We're looking to put the video up about four or five p.m.
There's a whole lot of talking going on.
How about more action?
Have them more execution.
How about more paying prices for what your mouth is saying?
That is what I hope you do.
Give more, go all in, be all in.
Don't you get it?
The victory is.
is already yours. You just got to claim it. You just got to stake it. You just got to bring it into life.
And you cannot bring it into life if you're going halfway.
In order to get something we've never had, we need to do things we've never done.
In order to get something we've never had, we need to do things we've never done.
Right now, if you don't like your physique and you want a better one, what you are currently doing is not going to get it for you.
You can't keep sleeping in and doing the same day after day, or you're going to look the same for the rest of your life.
If you want that supercar, but you're in a job right now that can't afford the supercar, you need to get out of it.
In order to get things we've never had, we need to do things we've never done.
You've got to switch it up.
Oftentimes, it feels like it is possible in insurmountable feat to get past a beating.
And as long as I can feel it, I'm not in the state of paralysis.
If you can feel it, you can move it.
So I ask you the question.
Sometimes I have to look myself in a mirror and ask myself, that only got it.
Come on, you're prepared, your condition, you've been beaten, you've been better, you've been working, you've been left to dead.
But there's more because you're breathing and you feel it.
So if you can feel it, you can push yourself past.
The truth of the matter is, that's not all you have.
There's more left in you.
Be all in.
or be forgotten.
Be all in.
Or be a nobody.
Be all in.
Or be somebody that has absolutely no opportunity to leave a legacy on this world.
Be all in.
Or be somebody that nobody respects.
Be all in.
Or be somebody that leaves this earth with regrets.
I said to myself, who on this earth would still be going right?
now. You are. You are. I believed it. I believe it today. I believed it enough to where my body
said, he's not going to stop. I took all the negative things. I need to go to the hospital,
this and that, and I used this all, who the hell could even get out of that chair? You did.
Who the hell would even think about taping stress fractures up? You did. All those things I used for motivation.
me tell me it's not going to happen tell me it's going to fail I love it I love every
minute of it they wrote me off I ain't right back though that's the problem I
ain't right back let's go I'm gonna show you how great I am in that dark room is who you are
but in that dark room is where you have to create another human being that walks out of
that dark you need something that you know you need something to get out of bed for it
fight for it. If there's potential inside of you, which you know it's there, but you're too
scared to tell anyone else about it, and you go on and on, get older and older and order and
order, and the winners of our opportunities are to close. And you knew it could have been given
birth to, but you never did it. I promise you, it will haunt you. It'll be more, it's a living
nightmare, dude. How did you get mentally and emotionally so strong where it doesn't bother
you? You kind of got to get over yourself. It's not about you, man. Like, oh, okay, you
feel embarrassed you're not that important get over yourself that's where you go get over yourself
you are all listening to a lot of they and almost always they are losing and they just want you to
lose too they may not realize it i don't know if you've heard it it's called misery loves company
i want to see what you can accomplish through hard work through dedication through commitment through
teamwork. When you go through the discomfort, you got to go through the pain and suffering, but your
life becomes great. If you choose comfort, you go through pain and suffering, and you end up hating
your life. Both are uncomfortable in their own right. You just got to know when to make the choice.
My friends, you've got to stop listening today and you need to lean into being un-f-wavering.
My edge was my intensity.
My edge was my focus and my commitment.
You know, I put everything into the game.
I prepared.
I dreamt about it.
I visualized it.
I always prepared myself mentally for whatever is coming.
That fact that you had the ability to do something
and you're two weeks to turn the key and start the engine on it
is a greater disappointment and a greater burden to carry.
than any of this physical sweat equity or pain in the gym or sacrifice,
all that is just nothing compared to a life where you're burdened by regret, guys.
You need to be afraid of the right thing,
and you should be afraid of contaminating your soul with deceit.
That's what you should be afraid of.
That will definitely do you in.
And I know exactly how.
What happens is, you know, garbage in, garbage out.
The old programmer's saying goes.
You'll fill your head with nonsense and no one will call you on it except you, but you can still that voice if you try hard enough.
Right, like you're worried about how people may perceive you and like you're walking around and it's embarrassing because you shot five airballs.
Get over yourself.
Right?
And then after that it's okay, well, why did those airballs happen?
Got it.
I don't listen all that bullshit.
I'll listen to a motherfuckets like this, man.
What's wrong, man?
I'm tired, dude.
Why are you tired?
Because tomorrow, I get a dead.
do the fucking shit again, man.
Whatever there's shit is that made me
nauseous and sick to my stomach
it made me hurt.
There's no ending.
And that's the person I listen to.
That's the person who's gained knowledge.
You gain knowledge through suffering.
And on the other end of suffering
is a world that very few,
very few have ever seen.
It's a beautiful world.
Because that's where you find yourself.
You're standing at the precipice, the edge.
of the greatest move in your life and the time is now like never before to take a leap of faith
it takes faith to jump off of the edge it takes faith to step into your purpose it takes faith to
step into your destiny it takes faith to pull away from everything that is familiar to step into uncharted
territory to become the person you were born to be it takes faith can you disappear for 30 days
put in the work.
And that's something right to fight, let's say, against hell and for heaven.
That's something to fight for, especially...
When you say you're going to do something and then you follow through and you do it,
not at the end when you, you know, you cross the marathon, you finish it,
or your hands raised.
I'm talking about right now the small steps in between the big successes that everyone sees.
No one sees this.
Right now I'm saying like there's a confidence to it man.
There's a bad mother that's right here, you know, that it's getting ahead of the competition.
There's an overwhelming sense of fulfillment and pride and satisfaction with that.
You know, I didn't have to shoot up anything.
I didn't have to drink anything.
I didn't have to go party anything.
All I had to do was just go work out and now what's going to happen is a residual effect of that.
Not only does my body grow, but my belief in whatever my current endeavors are, they're just,
they seem closer.
It seemed like, you know, I can reach out and grab them now.
And you don't get that sense of confidence by going through societies, rhyme to reasons.
You know, you do your own thing, you know, especially when everyone else isn't doing it, they call
you crazy, whatever else.
Oh, you're in here and people driving by me in life.
That got doing up so late.
Well, what's up so late mean?
I don't know.
It's the moments in life, the decisions you make
on a moment-to-moment basis
that add up to be the guy or not the guy.
You're already stuck.
You want it.
And yet you can't jump.
And courage should be applauded.
Courage needs to be understood.
And courage's relationship with adaptability
is a very big deal.
I promise you.
You will never regret your acts of courage, ever.
I want you to think about me knowing that I'm comfortable being very uncomfortable.
And I want you to think about when you went through fucking hell week,
how uncomfortable you were and how bad you wanted to quit,
knowing I'm not thinking that fucking way.
So the dark side is something that I've designed.
It's an evil place I can go that very few things.
things can hurt me. I use the hurt you're trying to put on me. I flip it upside down and use it.
You try to use it for kryptonite? No, it's power pillows for me. I'm using it for strength.
How you address it is you face it. You face it every day. You face it every single day of your life
where you say, okay, like if you're fat, you need to lose weight, it's patience. It's patience in this fact of
accepting who you are right now, I'm fat. I don't like myself.
Accepting the fact that if you lose three or four pounds, that's a huge accomplishment.
You have to live in your own world. You cannot judge yourself. That's why social media and
all these things are horrible. You can't judge yourself off of the so-called competition that we
have made up in our mind. The things that how people look, how people act, how smart someone is.
This is a race that you run completely alone.
I don't know if I can do this.
The Achilles were like the kiss of death.
Yes.
Athletes.
Like, I don't know if I can do this.
You gotta set the example.
This is another obstacle.
This obstacle cannot define me.
It's not going to cripple me.
It's not going to be responsible for me stepping away for the game that I love.
I'm going to step away on my own terms.
And that's when a decision was made that, you know what?
I'm doing it.
I'm doing it.
You're a freaking beast, yeah, hey.
Get back in the ring again.
Don't get out of the ring.
Get back right into it.
It's right in that moment.
You know, when you're just like in sales,
if you got a rejection, go back out again.
Somebody says, no, go out immediately.
The price you will pay for not winning
is infinitely greater the rest of your life
than the price you will ever pay to win.
But you're negotiating it too often.
You're vacillating.
It takes your energy.
It strips your focus.
For most people, their will to win is for sale.
For most people, with enough failure, enough setbacks, enough adversity, you can buy them.
They will relent, they will sell their dream, they'll sell their kids, they'll sell their future.
You need to love pain.
However, mentally, physically, love it.
You need to love it.
If not, stay where you want.
There's more in you.
There's more in you.
My content creators, my entrepreneurs, my musicians, come on, my keynote speakers, my captains of industries, my CEOs, from the captain to the cashier, there is more in you.
Stay at home father, stay at home mother, lawyer, doctor, hygienist, author, I don't know who you are, where you're from, but there's more in you.
You may be hurting.
You may be dying on the inside.
I used to say it all time, why me, why me, why me?
And all of a sudden that conversation changed that, yeah, fuck yeah, like why not me?
You know what, my friend, I think you're stronger than that.
And I think you're capable of much, much more.
So bring it out.
Bring it out every single day that you live on this earth.
Bring it out every single day that you open your eyes.
Bring it out every single day.
not the best way to yourself, my friend, because you still have work to do.
You have greatness within you. You have the ability to do more than you can ever begin to imagine.
See, I believe that anybody through observation and practice can perform at the level of excellence.
But when you're pursuing your greatness, this is worth writing down, you don't know what your limits are and you act like you don't have any.
So I say to you, you have something special.
You have greatness within you.
When you figure this out on your own, the amount of pride and dignity and self-respect you have.
That's why I walk around the streets with a backpack and just like, I don't need anything else.
You figure it out by going inside yourself, by callousing over the victim's mentality.
You're always a victim, even if you have everything in life, until you realize,
what you've achieved. Make a plan. Look at what you're interested in. Get disciplined about something.
Allow for the possibility that you have something important to contribute to the world and that the
world would be a lesser place without that contribution. Don't be afraid of taking on
responsibility. It's where you find what sustains you in your life. We're here to get
stronger. In order to get stronger, we must fail. Accept that, know that, that who we are right now
It's not who we are, but where we are.
We're going forward with the belief.
Our belief, guys, drives this workout.
Believe in the difference you can be.
Stop being average when your potential is crying to come outside to be more than that.
That burn you feel, man.
You've got to earn that burn.
That pain.
That means check you did it right.
Continue to do that.
Nothing's in your way, man.
You're a kid again with everything as a possibility.
Two forms of pain.
Pain that breaks you.
and the pain that changes you.
That's the pain of the change right there.
That's the pain of progress.
How many people do you have that you allow to be in your circle
that can say painful things to you that you may not like to hear?
And then once you hear them, are you willing to accept it?
I've been lucky enough to have people in my life like that.
I make sure I try to stay surrounded with those people.
You can choose to be a fan and a spectator for the rest of your life,
but you know deep down inside,
you want to be in the arena, in the fight, in the war, in the battle.
with everybody else watching you in it,
competing, fighting, throwing stuff at you,
booing you, go for it, you can do it, you suck, you're terrible,
you're the worst I've ever seen, but you're in the arena.
At least you have the guts to roll up your sleeves
and go out there and fight.
That's the juice.
That's the juice of life.
You just got to make the jump or not.
It's like swimming.
You either jump in the pool and you go or you don't.
The end.
Don't care what other people think.
It's the only reason you're scared.
Whether it's your spouse, your partner, your child, your mother,
whoever it is, eliminate those voices, listen to yourself
and know that if you fail, you go back into it
and nothing bad will happen.
But if you win, it's the greatest shit that ever happened.
Push through the pain.
I know it hurts.
I know you're feeling it.
I know it doesn't feel as good as you would like it to be.
But the pain is a necessary tool
for you to get through life.
Whatever challenges that you are facing right now at this moment,
embrace it and carry on.
Fight through it and carry on.
Pain, it's good for you.
It's going to definitely do exactly what it needs to do.
And much more, but it won't kill you.
Life, my friends, it's a test of your grit, your determination.
Things get tough.
And trust me, it will.
you gotta remember one thing.
It's not how hard you hit.
It's how hard you can get it and keep moving forward.
You see Rocky Bob Boy, he said that these words stuck with him
because life ain't just about the victories.
It's about the battles you fought to get there.
It's about the failures.
The echo of the doubt is that didn't have the perseverance
to keep chasing the dreams that they want.
So they told you, stop chasing yours.
You can take on too much responsibility.
You have to be cautious in that regard,
but that's a less common problem than not taking on enough.
A lot of the things that people regard as traps
are actually the means to their life.
Why are you so anti-social?
Because I'm trying to get it.
I don't want to live in a hole anymore.
and I'm gonna do something about it.
I became obsessed
with being the baddest motherfucker
that God ever created.
I got my MTV out.
Savage! I'm a savage!
I'm not gonna stay fucking lying down.
I'm not. I can't do it, man.
You kept going. You pushed through.
You kept your head held high.
Why was you working so hard?
Because you were trying to get it.
How big would you dream
if you knew you couldn't.
Fame.
The only thing stopping us is ourselves.
Come on.
Get it.
17.
They don't know me, son.
Get it.
18.
They don't know me, son.
Get it.
19.
Yeah.
That's not all you got.
You thought you were empty,
but you got a half tank left.
And that's all you need to get where you're going.
You can fill up later. Keep going. Keep going.
Sometimes you got to sit with the pain,
until the pain passes.
Pain passes. Sometimes pain will immobilize you, but as long as you can feel it, you can push it.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we have nothing. Without pain, without sacrifice, we have nothing.
I'm not saying you should have goals, but you should be grinding for grinding safe.
You know, you should grind because that's what you do. You're passionate about what you do.
You know, and so you're waking up every day with this concept of I have 24 hours and their mind.
This 24 hours belongs to me.
to meet. And whatever I'm doing this 24 hours will determine where I'll be tomorrow and the next day.
And I think that's what people need to focus on.
Give me all that work. Give me all that work, my friend, because I needed.
I needed to make me stronger. I needed to make me powerful. I needed to make me better,
my friend. So give me all that work. Give me all that work, my friend.
He texted me and he's like, well, Cole, what that means is that your grandparents, from living in a
stone house with stone walls and a dirt floor and then us going into the construction industry
barely making it by just so we can do 50% better than our parents to you now living in a million
dollar home impacting thousands and thousands of lives earning seven figures you've taken our
name from sleeping on the dirt to million dollar mansions in the course of three generations
and our ancestors would be proud of you like that is why i work so hard like that i go
goosebumps right now. Like that is why I fucking grind. I'm not about this
complaining bullshit. People complain about their situation and then do nothing
about it and it makes no fucking sense to me. Please don't give up. Remember
this is the grind. Find a way to push through the suffering and discomfort and
I promise you there is something great waiting for you on the other side.
just keep grinding
don't give up
this is not the time
you don't live it like I do
like like like I lived it
and I'm still living it
like do you know where I'm gonna end up
right the tippy fucking top
you know where I'm now
upper middle so I'm patient
I'm grinding I'm here
I'm hustling down there
I'm fucking hustling patient for where
mine like you know
final stop is gonna be
You're just not patient.
Like if you're feeling any angst,
it's because you don't love the process more than the results.
You're thinking about $10,000 a month in AdSense
instead of loving the fucking dirt
and loving this grind moment.
And the second you fall in love with the grind,
for real, 19 years of it,
not a month,
when you fucking really fall in love with the grind
and sit here and then your talent
is going to take you where it's going to take you.
Listen, can't nobody.
grind harder than the sister. If you grind equal me, let's do it. But like Will Smith said when he was
being interviewed once, you know what I'm talking about the die on the treadmill. I'm going to die on the
treadmill. So I had no wonder, there's no more time anybody can give. I was opening the doors and
shutting the doors. I would turn the light on in the morning. I would turn it out at night. I
promise you no, it wasn't that. It was. I know that I know that I was. I know that I,
I can touch more of me for me, not for anybody else.
I had no guilt if I left this planet and I had only done what I did, only my car, I'm cool, I play full out for you, but I didn't play full out.
When you are committed, you give everything you have every single week, every single day, every single hour, every single minute, 720 hours a month.
You are beating on your craft, even when you're at work.
You're dreaming.
You're thinking.
Your vision casting.
You're writing it down.
Making it play.
Communicating to your destiny connections so that it can become a reality.
If you can see it in your head, you can hold it in your hands.
But the question I want to ask you is, are you committed?
My truth and my experience has been, I have to jump higher.
I have to show up earlier.
I have to be the first person to turn off the light and the last person to turn off the light.
I have to make sure that every number is correct and every T is crossed and every dye is dotted.
The way that I show up is by being consistent, so consistent that people cannot doubt your capacity to succeed.
You have to work harder than the average person.
And if you accept those terms, you cannot complain about those terms.
I have only known success on the back of consistency.
Do I think you could be a success without being consistent?
Perhaps if you have other resources and tools that I was never given,
but coming from where I am, my perspective has only been.
Consistency and the discipline has been everything that I have ever gone
on the back of doing it again and again and again.
It is what I teach.
It is what I preach is what I believe.
You've got to want to grind.
You've got to learn to love that.
You've got to learn to love to put in the work.
To be proud of yourself that you showed up and put in the work.
To be proud of yourself that you taught yourself how to self-reve
To be proud of yourself that you're developing a mindset where you believe I can do anything I set my mind to and by the way
Once you believe that you can do anything you set your mind to without limitation
How you spend your time becomes a spiritual consideration
No more about what you're doing than anyone else in the world and grind baby grind
It's time to wake up stop making excuses stop justifying your laziness
Stop choosing
mediocrity.
Wake up!
Be better than who you used to be.
Be better than who you are right now.
Everybody else puts off everything until tomorrow
but not you.
You are going to choose to be better today.
You are going to push through the struggles
and hardships that come up this year.
You are going to grind until you are exhausted
until you feel like you have nothing more
and then grind harder.
When you get to where you want to go in life,
When you finally get there, you finally reached that point, and you're there.
And you're happy as hell.
Realize this, you're not there yet.
When you get that feeling that you arrived, be afraid.
Right.
Be truly afraid.
Because now you start to do this.
Slowly die.
