Starting point is 00:00:00 The days when it's easy to write or the days when it's easy to work out or the days when you feel good, everybody has those days. And yes, you still need to show up on those days, but that's not really creating any separation between you and everybody else who's showing up when they feel good. The days that create the separation are the heart days. And so in a sense, I almost feel like the bad days are more important than the good days because if you can find a way to show up on the bad days, even if it's less than what you're you ultimately hope to do, but you just figured out a way to not throw up a zero that day.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Continuing to show up and do whatever your thing is, whatever your craft is, that counts for a lot in the long run. You gotta put the work in. Don't get tired. You gotta show up and you always got to show up and you gotta be there and you do that. You show up. You do all the stuff. Every day, you go, what can I do? What can I do? What can I do? It just becomes part of your life. it's brushing your teeth. It's like, oh yeah, I guess brushing your teeth, someone at one point told me to have to do that. But now I do it every day, so I don't think of that.
Starting point is 00:01:09 I've watched so many great athletes. A lot of great athletes in my neighborhood in my high school. More athletic than you, probably. Way more. Better, more coordinated, jump higher, everything. So I've watched it. And I've watched a lot of great athletes not get opportunities or not have the right mentor.
Starting point is 00:01:26 I got lucky because I had so many great mentors and it started from a coaching standpoint. Gary Adams was my high school assistant coach who was the first person to take me and say, hey, do you want to be great? Before I knew what great was, he was like, do you want to be great? And I was like, yeah, he was like, well, I need to show up every day. I'm going to come and pick you up. I'm going to hit the horn one time. You better come out. You better be ready. If you're late one day, I ain't never coming back. If you want to be great, this is what you do. It's the act of showing up consistently that builds your capacity to do something that fosters the skill development and growth that you want.
Starting point is 00:02:07 And so showing up, even if it's just in a small way, is the way that you actually create the opportunity to do something. I think that in real life, a lot of the time, consistency is actually being flexible. It's being adaptable. You know, if you don't have enough energy, you do the easier version. If you don't have enough time, you do the short version. You find a way to not throw up a zero that day. You find a way to show up even if it's not ideal. So you want to be a YouTuber, post a video. And an ordinary person or don't have ordinary, like, extraordinary abilities just get started. And start, you know, each week, you kind of commit to a little bit more, a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:02:39 And then after 10 years, you're a time of a bestseller book, huge shows, things like that. But it's getting going. The things that are the hardest for us are also on the other side of that, the things we're most proud of. We're never not proud of ourselves when we do something hard for ourselves. I'm showing up. And so for everyone out there, whether you're doing YouTube, whether it's really, whether it's sports, whether it's a business, like how are you showing up? If me and you are on the treadmill, two things are going to happen.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Either you're going to get off first or I'm going to die trying to beat you. I heard a little kid called me last week. He said, E.T. Thanks, bro. I got up today at five o'clock in the morning and I'm practicing my soccer game. He said, but guess what? That's not what's important. He said, I'm not on the team, Eric. He said, I didn't make the soccer team. But I'm getting up at 5 o'clock every morning practice it as if I made it. There are two types of people. There are people who plan for events. And when the events don't show up, they don't show up. And then there's another group that's hungry.
Starting point is 00:03:40 And they want it as bad as they want to breathe. And whether there's an event or not, they're getting up. Whether there's an opportunity or not, they getting up and getting dressed. They getting up, they're getting out. And they're going to make it happen. Are you hear what I'm telling you? It's about being prepared beforehand so that when the opportunity comes, you already Ready for the opportunity.
Starting point is 00:03:58 It's not playing call the duty and putting the phone by you. Wait for somebody to pick up the phone and call you. That's not what it's about. Preparation. We're getting prepared just in case the opportunity comes. It's working in the off season. It's doing what you gotta do in the off season. So in the regular season come you ready, you heard me say it before.
Starting point is 00:04:18 It's easy to give up. It's easiest thing in the world to do, I'm done. I ain't gone. Yo, yesterday, I got nothing from working as hard as I. I could. Nothing happened from that. I'm going to do the same thing again today, but I'm going to try to go harder. That's the hardest thing in the world. 90% of success in life is showing up. If you don't show up, you're not swinging at the plate, so there's no chance. So definitely, definitely show up. Some of you will never be. You'll never have. You'll never do,
Starting point is 00:04:48 because you're sitting around waiting on the phone call, because you're sitting around waiting for somebody to give you an opportunity. There's a big moment because you got to get out of the bleachers. You got to get on the playing field. You gotta show up every day because if you're gonna believe in that possibility, you gotta believe in yourself. And your belief in yourself must be earned. Right? You gotta show up. Do you know what separates those who achieve their dreams from those who don't? It's not always talent. It's not always time.
Starting point is 00:05:16 And it's not luck. It's resilience, persistence, and the courage to keep showing up. What they all have in common is not a perfect journey, but an ability to keep. Keep showing up. Keep showing up, kid. Keep showing up to the world. Every day that you keep showing up, you're sending a message to life,
Starting point is 00:05:47 saying I'm here to stay. I'm here to fight. I'm here to win. Consistency doesn't guarantee that you'll be successful, but not being consistent. consistent will guarantee that you won't reach success. To be successful at anything, the truth is you don't have to be special. You just have to be what most people aren't.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Consistent, determined, and willing to work for it. No shortcuts. Consistency, consistency, consistency, man, that's the name of the game, bro. Don't get much simpler than to that. If you keep going every single day and don't stop, your competition will fall off. Grind every day one foot in front of the other, but I promise you, I'm gonna be lap in these folks, bro. Do so much work, it would be unreasonable for you not to be successful.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Every single day, work at it. I mean, it's been a struggle some days. I'm going to lie. Some days I'm like, man, this is, this is tiring. This is hard. Now I embrace the heart. No matter what you are going through in life, how sad you are, how is pain you're feeling,
Starting point is 00:07:00 the trauma that you're going through. you are strong enough to see another day. And it's not about being 100% every single day. It's about just showing up. That's what I do. No matter what the odds, no matter how I'm feeling, I show up every single day. And by showing up every single day and doing what I do,
Starting point is 00:07:24 I believe it gives me more than happiness. I think about the people that I really admire, admire people who work for years and years on things. And I just think about what it must be like to be in the wilderness that long, to just show up every single day and work on a thing and not get any recognition or appreciation for that thing to not know if you're heading in the right direction
Starting point is 00:07:53 or not the kind of character and determination that that takes. And so, you know, you just do the thing. If people like it at the end, that's great. at the end, that's great. I believed with every fiber of my being that I was going to become this massive successful artist. The outcome was non-negotiable. It was inevitable. And when something's inevitable, the choices aren't choices. They're just, I was living in the process. It was the identity alignment. It was, this is who I'm becoming and this is what that person does. Yeah, if you tell somebody, hey, in six months, you guarantee you are going to have the best physique in your
Starting point is 00:08:30 life, you're just going to do the things every day that are required to get to that point. What is it that you can do today to get closer to the fulfillment of that future? Every single day, I'm beating on my craft. Every single day, I'm looking to become more than I was yesterday. And so you may be average, you may be ordinary, but you have the opportunity every single day to make extraordinary decisions. None of us are going to be 100%. Every single day, life is always going to challenge us.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Life is going to always come after us. But life is a beautiful gift. And we all got to live it every single day. When I go to bed at night, if I took steps forward, and there comes in many different forms, it could be I've built relationships today. I built on my mental stability today. I've grown to open my scope at what productivity is.
Starting point is 00:09:26 But I know if I'm taking steps forward, that I'm making myself proud. It's easy for me. fall asleep at night and it's easy for me to get up in the morning and try to do it again. You don't execute. You're not just cheating yourself. You're cheating your family. You're cheating your employees. You're cheating your team. Whatever you're a part of. It's bigger than you, man. Hard work, work, y'all. See, some of you have dreams and goals, but hard work, you can't get around it. I wish there was a magic wand that I could wave that your passion, your dream, that thing
Starting point is 00:10:01 you want to achieve, it could just happen. But it can't. Hard work. is required. What do you do when a thousand other people want exactly what you want? What if you're not the only one that wants what you want? What if there are thousands of other people who want what you want? You have to outwork them. You got outbond them. You've got to get up earlier. You've got to stay up later. You've got to execute and you've got to go from 70 to 100. I think a lot of people feel this enormous pressure to achieve this millionaire, billionaire status somewhere in your 20s, 30s, 40s is very difficult.
Starting point is 00:10:45 It is for very few and far between. I hope everyone understands. If you put in 18 hours a day, every day of your life, and you suck, you lost. You know why I'm sitting here right now? Because I outworked you. Zoom in. I outworked you.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Before I ever stood on a stage, I clean one at an old Baptist church. When everybody left, I stayed documented. When nobody was there. That's how I got the microphone. I didn't get a microphone because I can talk the best. I didn't get a microphone because I can sing the best. I got a microphone because serving.
Starting point is 00:11:20 Can we all think that if we pray on it, if we do this, if we do that, whatever. We don't work. We just, whatever. It's going to magically happen for us. No. I believe that when I'm all said and done with, my whole job is to outwork the chart. Got to keep putting in the work. Every day.
Starting point is 00:11:36 One is better than zero. Got to keep putting in the work. Putting in the work. Putting in the work. The hard work matters and the patience is what overrides it. You got to work with what happens. What happens if you wake up 30 days later and you're there? What happens if you wake up 60 days later and the change is coming?
Starting point is 00:11:51 You know what's going to happen? You're going to wake up 60 days later, 90 days later, and everything is going to change with you. And you're going to get the same results you got before it happened because you're the exact same person. So work, work while you wait. You cannot stop. We all have greatness. it just you got to find the courage you got to find the courage to put your bow's headphones on and silence the noise out of this world and to find it and to find it because it's out there
Starting point is 00:12:23 but it's going to take hard work courage self-discipline it's going to take all the non-cognitive skills all the non-cognitive skills to be great you know smart is good all this stuff is good that's all cognitive. It's the non-cognitive skills that sets you apart from everybody else. And that's what's all about. Now, I don't know what your goal is, but I want you to visualize it right now and repeat after me with power and conviction. Let us say together, it's possible. Together, please. Say it possible. Say it's possible. See, that's the first step. I want you to think about this goal that you want. I want you to envision it and see it in your mind's eye. And every day, say to yourself that it's possible. See most people are not accumulating wealth. Most people are
Starting point is 00:13:18 living in poverty. Most people are living far below their potential. Not because they don't have the capacity, not because they have not been given authority and dominion over everything on the face of the earth. But most people are living like they're living because of the fact that they don't believe they can have any more than what they now have. Listen to me very clearly. Every A is not an I don't care how much you can jump on Google and get the answer and get your report card or your grade sheet or your teachers or your school to think that you're getting the A. If you're cutting corners, if you're taking shortcuts, every A is not an A. You're not robbing anybody else but you. So I need you to work while you wait. I need you to work with work on your focus perspective. I need you to see difficult differently.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Are you here what I'm telling you? I need you to see it differently. You know, five steps to greatness. No. It ain't that, brother. You read my book, This is hard work. It's every day. There's so many people who want to leave that can't follow.
Starting point is 00:14:23 I'm saying it's because everybody wants to get to the top. If you're trying to get on top, I need to be work the level you're on right now. Catharms? Can you sing for the kids? Maybe singing for the kids might be the thing that gets the whole world knowing your name, but because you think it's small
Starting point is 00:14:47 and insignificant, you won't even do it. Just keep working. If you were told you were going to get that promotion, just keep working. If you were told you were going to win that championship, just keep working. Nobody said it would be easy again. If it was easy, everybody would do it.
Starting point is 00:15:01 So I need you to work on your faith. I need you to work on your faith. I need you to wake up every day and say, today ain't today, but my day coming. And I will not give up, and I will not give in, and try I get to do it. that day. I will not stop. I will not give up. I will not give in until my day comes.
Starting point is 00:15:20 You have enough right now to flip this world upside down. You have enough. You got enough power. You got enough anointing. You got enough grace. You got enough patience. You got enough gifting to make your money. Get out of debt. Get yourself together and change everything about your world. You're not going to change anybody else that you change you. everything really does begin with you. I found a lot of people pretty much that way. They've got an awful lot underneath the surface, but until they bring it out and take it to the marketplace,
Starting point is 00:15:57 they will never realize even a minute fraction of the benefits that they could bring themselves, their families, their friends, their community, and everyone else. When you know within yourself that there's something you want to do, and I believe that all of us were born with a purpose, that all of us have some goodness within us, and that goodness gives us a responsibility to manifest our greatness.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Not only it's possible for you to have your dream, but it's necessary that you go for what is yours in the universe. What is it that I must become? In order to manifest the vision that's beginning to articulate itself through me right now. What must I become? Where must I grow in my own life in order to be a vehicle for this transcendent vision that wants to express through me right now?
Starting point is 00:16:55 There is a sacred law that you can't really have in your life which you're not willing to become vibrational. Where must I become? Where must I grow? Some people need to grow and becoming more loving or more self-loving. Where must I grow? Who do you need to become to start the business? To move into the new location. To start traveling. To make new friends.
Starting point is 00:17:23 To take up new hobbies and new investments and endeavors. To impact. Who are you going to have to become? To build that philanthropic portfolio. To serve in areas you've never served. To see and to sow in places you've never been. Your destiny is linked to your identity. Your perseverance is not even about you.
Starting point is 00:17:44 The future. the next generation, legacy, destiny is attached to this. It is only then that she will be able to manifest and become who you are destined to be. The hardest part of making millions of dollars in being successful in business is becoming the person who is able to do the thing. That's the hardest part. Hardest part is not doing things that don't make you a million dollars. That's not the hardest part. The hardest part is you becoming the person who has enough intestinal fortitude and grit
Starting point is 00:18:22 to go down into the laboratory, the cave, the drawing board, whatever you want to call it, and obsess over this problem long enough to find an elegant, effortless, effective solution. That's the part, because most people don't have enough intestinal fortitude. They don't have enough stick-to-itiveness. They don't have enough grit. alas through the learning curve to become the person who can do the thing
Starting point is 00:18:48 that makes them deserve to have the stuff. Yeah, even if you take a tree growing in a garden, you plant the seed in the ground, in order for the seed to become a tree, the first thing it must do is exactly the same as the first thing we must do when we're getting ready to go through our transformation.
Starting point is 00:19:09 What is that? It must be willing to cease to be a seed. Unless I'm willing to cease be a seed, Unless I'm willing to cease being what I've always been, I can never become whatever I can't have the potential to become. If I were to give people one single tool that would help them improve their lives, I would invite them to embrace the awareness and to use as a tool their consciousness that your life is not about you. It's about everyone else whose life you touch and the way in which you touch it. Anything that you hope to manifest in your life and searching for all the good things in life come to you automatically, almost without trying.
Starting point is 00:19:52 That's all you'll need to transform your experience of who you are and to touch everyone else in life in a way that would allow them to begin to experience who they are. I came to realize that it's not about me. The experience is yours, but the experience that people take from the content you will never own. I will never know how much what I do affects people or doesn't. I'm not responsible for what happens with what is created once it's out in the world. The reason I was there was not to have a personal experience. The reason I was there was to make a film that could potentially shed light on an issue or teach something to people because I was so busy worrying about being Mr. Programmaker
Starting point is 00:20:38 and making this film that was perfect in my mind's eye. Whereas in reality, The conversation that was being had had never been had before. And as a result, it actively changed lives of people watching. It literally changed the lives of people that messaged me. It wasn't about me. And being comfortable with that is quite difficult, but also quite freeing in a lot of ways. People come to the work for all kinds of reasons. Sure.
Starting point is 00:21:04 And I don't really care. But by the time they start doing the work, all they really want to do is give. Because when you feel so amazing and feel so great, wait about yourself that you no longer want anything, the first thing you want to do is give. I mean, and it's just a practice. And as you do that and you start seeing all the fun things happening, it's not like, oh, I gotta go create my life today.
Starting point is 00:21:27 You're like, you're like, I gotta go. Because I don't want the magic to stop. So I just do it because I love the crazy, magical, wonderful things that happened that I would just never anticipate in my life. And so people are catching. onto it and they start coming for one reason, you know, they want money or they want to hell, but it's not about your money, it's not about your health, it's not about your new
Starting point is 00:21:51 relationship, it's not even about the mystical moment, it's about who you become in the process, because overcoming all those limitations to become somebody else, nobody can take that away from you. Your matters are the peace of the world. You are beyond yourself. You're greater than yourself. The highest form of discipline is the ability to adjust and be flexible and adapt. You're building the muscle either building the muscle that says, I do what I say, I keep the commitments that I make, or you're building the muscle that says, I make excuses, I don't do what I say, I can't be counted on, right?
Starting point is 00:22:34 And so when we think about discipline, it's really about what promises are you going to keep. And the tricky thing is you're keeping promises to yourself that nobody even knows that you made. Discipline is kind of the gateway drug to everything else in authority. And it's the gateway to composure, for sure. But getting your discipline modified is one of the fastest ways to make everything else change. And how do I fix my discipline if I'm an ill-discipline person? Understanding what discipline is is the most critical element. element. And I define this differently than most people. So I define discipline as your ability
Starting point is 00:23:17 to prioritize the needs of your future self ahead of your own, present self. And that's it. That's all that discipline is. I'm prioritizing the needs of future me. The first question I ask is, how do I want to spend my days? And so then you draw a box and inside that box, how can we make the most money, reach the most people, make the biggest impact, you know, make the contribution that you want to make, but not outside of it. And what happens a lot of the time is people do that in reverse. They start by asking, how can we make the most money or reach the most people or make the biggest impact? And then they decide, oh, well, this is what I want to do, but it's actually outside of how they want to spend their days. And it's not going to work out well, because, you know,
Starting point is 00:23:59 it goes back to our point previously about, is this fun? You know, if they don't want to spend their time that way, you're just grinding for a little while and eventually it's not going to work. That's the key for building systems that really work is, is this how you want to spend your days? The person who wants to live the lifestyle is much better positioned to get the result. I think everyone needs to realize that discipline is like a rubber band. It stretches, right? It stretches. Sometimes it's like really, really tough and really flexed and you're good to go.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Other times it's a little flimsy, it's a little flimsy, and that's okay. But do you know what you need to do to get it strong again? Do you have the right people around you that you can lean on and go, hey, but I need a little bit of help in this area? without feeling like you might reject me or I might feel like less of a man or less of a woman if I reach out. And I think that's important. Whether someone does the project or not doesn't matter to me.
Starting point is 00:24:47 What matters is that they are disciplined in areas of their life they know they need to be. And all of that starts off by shedding the false identity and putting on a new identity of the man that you or the woman that you want to be and then start living that life. It's literally that simple. Your outcomes are a lagging measure of your inputs. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:06 where you're at is just a lagging measure of the things that you've gone toward that. And it seems like discipline is pretty much exactly the same. And that's where the line between your future destiny is dictated by your current discipline. It's about doing the things you don't like to do for an extended period of time without getting reward. And then discipline then becomes not, are you disciplined or not discipline, but how disciplined are you? Everyone who doesn't have discipline created this false identity of themselves as, man, I'm just not a discipline. person. Well, if you keep saying I'm not a disciplined person, you just keep going further away from discipline. You ain't got to be perfect. You heard me. You ain't got to be perfected day.
Starting point is 00:25:46 And finally, stop planning for events. Stop planning for things and start planning for your future. Start, start getting yourself ready. So when you get there, it's a done deal. So, yep, you didn't do all that stuff. So that's okay. Say goodbye to the past and embrace your future back to breath of your life. You have to make sure that you are managing yourself wisely, that you are making the right decisions. You have to make sure that you keep the promises that you have made to yourself. Stop stressing about the things that you cannot control and stop focusing on the things that you have control of. Take control of your life. Take control of the opportunities.
Starting point is 00:26:33 believe in yourself and know that it is not over for you step toward it don't try and duck it like most people do see most people want it easy see easy come easy what easy go when you go at what you're going to deal with and you deal with the difficulties of it when you handle those hard things close at hand making those hard decisions right now that you don't want to make, learning those things that you don't like to do. But you know that in order for you to get where you want to go, this is one of the hoops that you have to flip through.
Starting point is 00:27:21 And I'm saying to you, whatever you've got to do, do it. Because if you don't, life is going to whoop you until you surrender. I need you to stop pushing certain goals off and aims and targets and relationships and doors you need to walk through and tables you need to say that. Stop pushing it off to tomorrow because tomorrow is not promised. Look at the great creatives and the great saints and the great humanitarians and the great titans of industry. Many of them got up at 5 a.m. Even right now you've got Tim Cook and you've got Howard Shultz and it goes on and on. I get up really early.
Starting point is 00:28:00 I'm an early bird. Like it 4 to 5. You still wake up at 4 a.m. I'm 4.30. Pick a time and start waking up at that time every day. It doesn't have to be 4.40. It could be 8 o'clock, could be 7 o'clock. It doesn't matter. It could be 11 o'clock.
Starting point is 00:28:15 But try and go to bed around the same time and try and wake up around the same time. And that's going to be a great foundation for everything that you're doing. Keeping promises to yourself is just this insanely powerful tactic. Before the sun rises is the time of least distraction. before the sun rises where you can build intimacy and fluency with what you want to stand for in your day. I run in the morning, right?
Starting point is 00:28:43 And as morning runs for me, provide a lot of solitude. It's at one time where I have an hour, hour and a half, every day, it's dark out, it's quiet, I don't have my phone, there's no notifications, my mind is clear. It is some of the most powerful moments of my day. I need that more mentally than physically. Right, so we have to do the thing. that our body wants us to do. Be congruent with the man you want to be. If you don't, the inner self-talk will always be negative. Tomorrow, live congruently to the man you want to be. Don't hit the snooze button. Maybe you're sick and tired of hitting the snooze button. Just literally
Starting point is 00:29:20 flip the switch. There's not a motherfucker that's up. There's not a car. There's not a person. Everybody's in their bed, sleep, dreading that it's a Monday. Hate it's a Monday. And I'm loving it. I don't need an alarm clot. All I need is my passion to wake me up. All I need is my passion to push me. All I need is my passion to grind. Are you ready to be your own boss? Well, it's time to boss up and get rid of that alarm clock and allow your internal clock to get you going.
Starting point is 00:29:51 You've decided that you're not going to allow your circumstances to define you. You've decided that you're not going to allow the events, the things, the people, life, determine who you become. No alarm clock needed. My passion wakes me up. This is about you finally being your own boss. This is about being inspired to be your best without somebody else pushing you. This is about pushing yourself.
Starting point is 00:30:18 You're not going to go through life being a whiner, being a complainer, that you're going to take responsibility for what it is that you want to create. The greatest ability that God has given humankind above the animals is the ability to choose. You know, wake up and cry like it's your only moment. I need you to practice like it's your only moment. I need you to study like it's your only moment. I need you to play like you ain't got nothing else. If I lose speaking, I don't know what I'm gonna do.
Starting point is 00:30:44 So every single day, I just like to see if I still got it. I like, I just want to see at 54 if I can still come into a room and I can still light you up. I just want to see if I could take your mind and stretch it in the way you've never straight. I just want to see if I can bring that dog out of you. I just want to see if you got that heart. I'm playing right now. I ain't making the money I've known me.
Starting point is 00:31:04 But why am I doing it? This is all I got. You see, discipline is the difference between the man you are and the man you keep pretending you'll become one day. Discipline is the bridge. Discipline is the weapon. Discipline is the father you never had. The mentor you never met. The structure your childhood never gave you.
Starting point is 00:31:35 And until you built it, your purpose will stay low. blocked behind the doors you won't walk through. Become a man your future can stand behind. You want success, discipline. You want a stronger body, discipline. You want peace? It's discipline. You want love that lasts.
Starting point is 00:32:02 It's discipline. You want God to elevate you. It's discipline. Dreams are so romantic, but the world does. reward potential it rewards discipline nobody cares how gifted you are if you can show up nobody cares how smart you are if you can't execute nobody cares how much you want it if you won't work for discipline separates the men with the fantasies from the men with
Starting point is 00:32:40 legacies because the battle is not outside it's inside Your greatest opponent is not another man. Not your environment, not your past. It's the voice inside of you that says, do it later, sleep in, you're tired, you deserve a break. You work hard enough. That voice has killed more dreams than failure ever has. Keep showing up, Queen. Keep showing up, King.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Keep showing up to the world. It's your time. Everybody wants to feel inspired. Everybody wants goosebumps and hype. Everybody wants that fire in their chest, but motivation fades. Emotions lie and feelings flip. The man without discipline is dangerous to his own future. You're fighting habits passed down for men who never learn how to control themselves.
Starting point is 00:33:55 You're fighting patterns built in houses full of chaos, emotion, and subpoenas. but let me tell you something powerful. Discipline is generational orphan. You don't rise because you feel like rising, you rise because you say it so. Because you command your flesh to obey your future. You think discipline is punishment? No.
Starting point is 00:34:21 It's protection. Protection from the weaker version of you. You wake up early and pray, read, Read, build, train, work, focus. You are breaking change. Your father never broke. Your grandfather never broke. Your whole bloodline never broke.
Starting point is 00:34:45 So today, right here, right now, make the declaration. This is the season I become dangerous. This is the season I become discipline. This is the season I become the man I was created to be. And once you decide, don't break your word. You better not break your word. your world because your destiny is watching your legacy is listening your future is waiting now go become the man your purpose has been praying for the world doesn't
Starting point is 00:35:16 respect talent it respects discipline yeah talent is cute potential is sweet dreams are so romantic but the world doesn't reward potential it rewards discipline Imagine you want to start a business or getting shape. You start to realize how difficult it is. The excitement fades. The results aren't there. But that's the point where most people give up. That's also where champions are made.
Starting point is 00:36:02 I want you to think of the greats like Michael Jordan. Mary Curry, Martin Luther King Jr., what they all have in common is not a perfect journey to the top but an ability to keep showing up when it would have been easy to quit here's the secret you don't have to be extraordinary to start but you have to start to be extraordinary you can lose that weight but only if you keep showing up Day after day, early mornings, late nights, even if you're tired and you don't feel like. Every day that you keep showing up, you're sending a message to life, saying I'm here to stay.
Starting point is 00:37:11 I'm here to fight. I'm here to win. Others may quit, but not me. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever. I gave too much of my time to this dream. I gave too much of my soul to this dream. I gave you my heart. I gave you the last words that I can leave on this earth
Starting point is 00:37:48 to help another kid that buried his mother and buried his father before they became men and women. The journey in life, in life is one of the hardest journeys you will ever take because you spend your whole life searching to become this great person but when you finally make it the people that you wanted to save is no longer living so you got to find another passion another inspiration to keep going God leaves your gift at the bottom of the stairs. And it's up to you to keep climbing.
Starting point is 00:38:41 It's up to you to keep fighting. It's up to you to keep clawing and believing in your purpose. Believing in the dreams. And believing in the impossible. Live full, die in it. Come a gladiator. Come an individual that steps in the life. And doesn't run from it, but run towards it.
Starting point is 00:39:18 That's the true making of a king. That's the true making of a queen. Key! Because life will never stop until the dirt covers you. But make sure when that dirt covers you, the world remembers your name forever.
