Welcome to the NFL Stock Exchange Podcast.
In this episode, it's time to put all summer scouting into a big board.
Connor and I are giving you each our top 50s heading into the NFL season.
Can't say college football season because week one already happened in college football,
but we're going to give you our week one thoughts as well.
So it's a little bit of a double feature episode.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
And then at the end of the episode, we're going to put our big boards together
and have an official aggregate nflse top 50 big
board for the college football season it's gonna be a lot of fun reminiscing and talking more about
all these prospects that we talked about over the last couple of the NFL Stock Exchange podcast.
I'm Trevor Sykema.
That is Connor Rogers.
On a joyous Monday that we are here recording this show,
it is big board release day, baby.
I know we're a little bit late.
We're a little, like, we're a week late here.
College football's already kicked off.
But, you know, Jim, look, we wanted to get the big board out before we got the first mock draft out,
which is all going to happen before the NFL season kicks off.
So then we start to understand more of the draft order.
The team needs all that good stuff.
But I am so excited about this show.
We did this last year and it was a ton of fun.
It was a wacky, crazy episode where it sort of
encapsulated a lot of our top thoughts that we had from summer scouting.
What Connor and I are going to do is we're each going to give you our top 50s going into the season.
And then at the end of the show, we're going to put it all together and have an official NFL SE top 50 going into the NFL season.
Then, of course, throughout the college football season as well for the people that are like, oh, can we get your thoughts on week one?
We'll sprinkle them into this episode.
Yeah, it'll be in this.
That's why you're here.
Connor, how we doing, my friend?
One week of college football in the books.
One week of college football in the books.
You're either a bust or the number one overall pick.
There's no in between.
Zero in between.
Zero in between.
You're either going undrafted or you got to transfer to FCS
or you are going number one overall.
That's how it goes. I'm doing great, man. It's great to have actual got to transfer to FCS or you are going number one overall. That's how it
goes. I'm doing great, man. It's great to have actual football to react to. And yes, this is
one of my favorite shows of the year. Just building this big board, seeing where your thoughts are at,
seeing where mine are at. And we get to put this NFL SC big board together that it's fun to look
back on throughout the year, how it changes and evolves. Yeah, no, absolutely. It's this is great.
I don't want to be too repetitive before we get into it,
but this truly is a lot of fun for me
because you and I have enough fun already
going through positional rankings
when we get to sort of reveal
what we think about certain players,
but that only tells us how we feel a certain prospect
stacks up against the others at that position.
Who knows what it could be for the
class overall. I think we'll get to get, we'll get to understand what each other thinks about
this class overall, where we believe the strengths and weaknesses are for the class. And of course,
we want to hear from you guys as well. You know, when you're listening to this episode,
if you get finished with this episode, let us know what you thought of, uh, of the overall
big board of our two big boards, sort of what we think of the class, but know what you thought of uh of the overall big board of our two big boards sort of what we think of the class but also what you guys think of the class and you can cheat a little
we're we've we've cheated a little bit maybe a little changes here and there because of the week
one so you can give us your reactions there as well but uh buddy i think a good way to do this
is just to simply start at number 50 and then we will go 10 picks at a time getting all the way up
to number one overall and then or number one overall on the big board i should, and then we will go 10 picks at a time, getting all the way up to number one overall,
or number one overall on the big board, I should say.
And then we'll talk about building the show's big board after that.
So who you got?
So 50 for me was Cam Ward, the transfer quarterback at Miami.
Very topical right now.
49, JT Tui Maloal, edge from Ohio State.
48, Alec Io Manor, the wide receiver from Stanford.
47, Ashton Jalati, edge from Louisville.
46, Denzel Burke, corner from Ohio State.
45, Kamen Rucker, pass rusher from North Carolina.
44, Billy Bowman Jr., the safety at Oklahoma.
Let's go!
43, Wyatt Milliam, offensive tackle at West Virginia.
42, Mancelo Delane, cornerback from Virginia Tech.
41, Danny Stutzman, linebacker, Oklahoma.
Am I supposed to go to 40 or just 41?
No, 41.
Nailed it.
41 is good.
Clean stop.
The only one that we have the same here in this group is JT Tuimaloa.
The rest of them. We have the same here in this group is JT Tuimaloa.
The rest of them.
So I'll say my 10.
And then I do want to ask you quite a bit about some of the guys that you have in your 10.
I think that you could do that vice versa with mine as well.
50 for me, Xavier Watts, the safety from Notre Dame, who was tied for the lead in the FBS with interceptions last year,
got another pick against Texas A&M,
much to the chagrin of my Connor Wigman QB one take,
which we will get to people.
We promise it's coming.
But Xavier Watts,
I got him at number 50.
Lander Barton,
the linebacker from Utah.
I have him at number 49.
Latham Ransom,
the safety from Ohio state.
I told you guys a good safety class.
I got him at number 48.
He had, I think it was a scooping score this past year,
which is great to see, or this past week.
Josh Simmons from Ohio State,
their offensive tackle at number 47.
Tyler Booker as OG1, the top interior offensive lineman,
or at least the top guard, I should say, pure guard,
that I have at number 46.
Jadae Barron, defensive back from Texas.
I got him at 46. Sorry,
45. Jonah
Savanaia?
That's it. Luke is close.
Probably. The offensive tackle
from Arizona, who could be an interior
offensive lineman in the league, but we'll say offensive
tackle for now. I got him at number 44.
TJ Sanders
from South Carolina. In my opinion,
not enough people are talking about this dude.
He played well last year.
He's already off to a great start this past week when they played Old Dominion.
I've got him at number 43.
Sebastian Castro, the versatile defensive back from Iowa at 42.
And then J.T. Tuimaloau, our one common here in this back 10, if you will.
I got him at number 41.
We got to talk about Cam Ward.
We do.
There's other players that I want to talk about,
but we have to talk about Cam Ward.
So I, even though we had the luxury of having week one
before we actually did this exercise,
I didn't want to, nor did I feel it was fair to you guys.
I was much lower on Cam Ward sort of going into the season
that I feel like it would have been disingenuous just to say,
oh, one game into 2024, top 50, boom,
because he wasn't close to my top 50 before this week.
So obviously it was a great game that he played against Florida.
I love to see it.
So much of what he did well,
we saw throughout the entire game in
a lot of different situations, but I felt like it would have been disingenuous, but I love that you
got him here at 50 so that we could talk about him here a little bit. Cam Ward at 50, take it away.
This is somebody I have to talk about because I think I only changed from our positional previews.
I think I only had two very noteworthy changes. One was that Ariante Ursary was a guy I didn't get to watch in time
for our offensive tackles, and he ended up being my,
I think, sixth offensive tackle overall.
So Ursary's in the top 50.
He wasn't on the tackle show at all.
He's a very good player.
The other one was, this is a little bit more minor,
I had Cam Ward as quarterback five and Connor Wegman as quarterback four. I now flipped Ward and Wegman. And it's not just totally from week one, although they had
really, you know, obviously very contrasting performances drastically. And folks that can
change the following week. Like Cam Ward has had some stinkers throughout his long college career.
He's also had electric games. And to be fair to Wegman, who had a really bad game, he's had some great games in the limited time he's played. It's just that Ken Ward's an
older player, Trevor, that is more experienced, that has a trajectory where he can really propel
himself through this draft. And I think Wigman just needs a little bit more time. And you said
this really good reminder before we even press the record button. The changes you see on this show this show and they are very minor very minor like i said these are the two that i pretty
much have for you are also reflective of the fact that we watched quarterbacks and offensive tackles
months ago literally like in june i think it was the beginning of june yeah which means we
watched them in may so there are going to be some changes just of watching more tape.
But a very minor one, I was glad to get Cam Ward on my big board here.
I'm excited to see what he could do.
And people that have been asking me, they're like, what is the deal?
Like, what are we missing?
And with Cam Ward, it's just about cranking down some of the recklessness.
He's always going to be a borderline reckless player because that's what makes him great. But cranking some of it down to limit some of the crazy turnovers to become a viable NFL quarterback.
And the start at Miami is awesome.
Let's see where it goes.
I think that team is talented enough to win the ACC.
They are loaded this year.
And he is an absolute dude under center.
Cam still worries me a little bit.
How can he not, dude?
I love the sidearm throws, the different arm angles. It's a lot of fun, but when you don't have that repeatable throwing motion, it's tough. And if he makes it with that sort of skill set and play style mentality, he's special. And he might be special, and I am fully open to that being the case, but that kind of worries me.
Florida will probably be one of the worst defenses that they play all year because Florida is going to be one of the worst defense in the country.
I feel like I could already tell that with how it went week one.
It's got to drastically change for that to be different this season.
But I tweeted this out.
I don't want that to make it sound like Cam Ward doesn't deserve praise.
I was so impressed with how calm, how confident,
just how collected this dude was within the Miami offense.
He knew where his guys were going to be.
And there were still some throws where those wide receivers
had to make some adjustments to go get it.
But he's a playmaker, man.
He's a backdoor playmaker, and he is so much fun to watch.
If you listen to his post-game interview as well,
it just makes you want to buy into this guy. So Cam Ward getting off on the right, getting, starting this year
off on the right foot is what I was trying to say there. And I can't wait to watch him more this
year. Cause if that's only a taste of what we've got for the rest of the season, yes, this is a
candidate to make a major rise even into the first round we'll see how it goes for uh for cam ward there
um i i want to talk about billy bowman but we can wait a little bit on that because i have him a
little bit higher there ellic iomainer yeah big big fan of his i'm glad that you got him in your
top 50 he is in my top 50 as well he would he will be in my next 10 but um i don't know anybody
else specifically that you want to highlight on your 10 here or anybody that you want to ask about on mine.
Let's look at yours again, because I've been staring at mine too long about to pull my hair out at this point.
So, OK, I think I love, love, love that you have Sebastian Castro in here at 42.
He's he'd be right somewhere after 50 for me i think he's just a really good football player
he i mean we saw the strip um he had this week he's a good tackler he's a physical player he's
so smart and hyper aware big fan of that and i think you're this the back end of your big board
highlights so what you said trevor the safety class is awesome the fact that you have multiple
guys in here just shows the density of the safety class is awesome. The fact that you have multiple guys in here
just shows the density of the safety class,
which was not the case last year.
Yeah, depending on what you think of Sebastian Castro,
if you think that he's a slot corner or a safety,
I've got six safeties in my top 50.
Probably both, right?
There's going to be times where I want him covering the slot.
There's times where I want him to be a strong safety,
and I think that's a valuable versatility for him.
So I think that Castro showed that he a valuable uh versatility for him so i
think that castro showed that he was one of the best football players in all of college football
last year just to do that you want on your team we'll see if that continues um judea baron i guess
is the same with him right i mean like maybe if you count him as a safety that'd be seven because
i also i i love baron he got himself an interception this past week in week one uh he's a
true versatile defender and i think that we've got a a lot of gems that can sort of like play that role at the next level here in this
class. And I think I've tried to allow my rankings to sort of reflect that. The one guy that I would
shout out here other than the safeties is still Josh Simmons, who I do still really like in this
class. I just feel as though his flexibility and movement skills, the PFF grades weren't great for him this past week against Akron.
And they weren't terrible either,
but it's just like he didn't earn an elite grade or anything like that.
He struggled a little bit still with power,
with keeping his hands on guys when he's locked in with them,
really being able to move guys against their will.
The power profile of his game,
we talked about this during summer scouting,
is something that I still want to see more from him. But I was watching him this
past week when I got the all 22 of it, and he just moves so well. And I just think that there's so
much flexibility with his hips and his hamstring and how low he can get and the different angles
that he could put his body into. It's just, you don't often see that for an offensive tackle.
So give me the guys with the movement skills and I'll try to figure out the rest. I'll try to improve that
strength as the years go on. So wanted to get him into my top 50 for those reasons. Then I mentioned
man, TJ Sanders from South Carolina. I don't think enough people are talking about him. Violent hands,
fast off the snap, very quick to get into the backfield um people say like a mini car crashes when he runs
india that's how it feels watching his tape so number 90 for south carolina they got some dogs
on that defensive line and i absolutely think that uh the tj sanders is one of them so uh i
just want everybody to watch out for him i appreciated when you said when i got the all 22
of it it made me think like a fedex man shows up at your door with yeah yeah with a reel of film and like you sprint to the door and grab the reel of film from him and you're like alissa it's here
and it's just like an sd card like you're just filing everywhere marvel stepping on it
it's a disaster tape not the tape that's dj sanders week one we get home we get home from
lunch and he's like eating you know he's like eating the actual tape like the actual footage
oh man that is that would be really cool all right so you want me to jump from 40 to 31
uh i think so um do you have anything outlandish to call out in mind? No, not outlandish.
I think the player that I'm the lowest on that was in this group for you is probably Wyatt.
Milliam?
Milliam.
But he's in the 90s for me, so I think he's still top 100.
Okay.
Mansour Delane, I think, was in the 90s for me, so I think he's still top 100. Okay. Mansour Delane, I think, was in the 60s for me.
Because, guys, I'm releasing my top 50 here,
but because my big board and the PFF big board are one,
and we use that for the Mock Draft Simulator,
you guys can see the updates to my big board all the time
because it's on pff.com backslash big board.
So you can see that.
I think I have 165 guys that are ranked right now.
So you guys can go and see that whenever you want.
So I've got it a little bit further than this
just because I have to for the MDS.
But Rucker, I don't know if he was top 100.
Maybe it's just outside of my top 100.
But like Jaladi was, I think, 70s for me.
Dude, he's so powerful.
Oh, yeah.
He's got an NFL body.
Yeah, he does.
And so I do like Jaladi. I feel like he's, yeah, he's not getting enough yeah he's got an nfl body yeah he does and so i i do like gelati i feel
like he's yeah he's not getting enough uh love in this class then we'll talk about stutsman a little
a little later because i'll get to him so 40 for me is xavier wanka wampa almost nailed it
safety out of iowa there you go 39 omari and hampton running back for north carolina i feel
like he's still getting the ball somewhere.
They're just running him into the ground somewhere
right now. Brother, he might get the Larry
Johnson Chiefs treatment where they just give
it to him 450 times
this year. Genuinely feels that
way. 38, Jaden Roberts,
guard for Alabama. 37, Ollie
Gordon II, running back for
Oklahoma State. Very good running back class this year,
guys. 36, Shador Sanders, quarterback out of Colorado.
Did a lot of good things week one, Shador.
35, Ariante Ursary, the offensive tackle I mentioned out of Minnesota.
34, Jack Sawyer, edge for Ohio State.
33, Barrett Carter, off-ball linebacker for Clemson.
32, Quinn Ewers, quarterback for Texas.
And 31, Emery Jones,
the offensive tackle for LSU. Okay, so we've got some similar names here. Blake Miller is where I
will start here at number 40, the offensive tackle for Clemson. I got Ollie Gordon at number 39,
the running back from Oklahoma State. Jack Sawyer, edge for Ohio State. I have him at 38.
And then I got a little run of edge rushers, actually. Landon Jackson, the edge rusher from Arkansas at 37.
Prince Lee, Oman Mielen, who was at Florida, now he is at Ole Miss.
I have him at number 36.
Billy Bowman Jr., the safety from Oklahoma, I have him at 35.
So both of us getting him in the top 50.
I love to see it.
Omarion Hampton, the aforementioned running back,
that's going to get 8 billion carries this year.
I have him at 34.
Denzel Burke, the corner from Ohio State.
I got him at 33.
Emery Jones, the offensive tackle for LSU,
who, I'm going to be honest,
I think he's going to play guard in the NFL.
I think it kind of feels that way.
I said this on the offensive tackle show.
I think this got me in
trouble and i don't blame our graphics team at all whatsoever i'm the one saying it i'm the one
putting rankings out there but when they tweeted out that i had emory jones i think it is like
offensive tackle five or six can't remember exactly where it was when we did the show
it's basically because i think he's interior offensive lineman one.
I think he's the top guard in this class.
So he just doesn't play that position.
He plays offensive tackle for LSU, so we're not going to see him at guard.
But I actually think that his power profile, how his body is built, his stance, his style.
Play more of a phone booth game.
He will get much more of his strengths to shine as an interior player,
in my opinion, and more of his weaknesses will be mitigated
if he can play on the interior.
I don't think he'd be a damn good one.
Then I got Elikai Omena, the widers here from Stanford.
I have him at number 31.
So a couple of names that are very similar there.
With this running back class, I mean, it already seems like,
shoot, we'll get to Ashton Ginty later in the show.
But Ollie Gordon had a great day.
Quinchan Junkins, I think, had a pretty good day as well.
Omari and Hampton had a great day for UNC.
Just the top running backs really showed out in week one.
It was as advertised.
And Kyle Menunga didn't make our top 50s, but he looked really, really good.
It's an as advertised group it really is I mean that honestly all of those running backs that we've
named if they didn't play another game this year nothing would change in my eval for all of them
honestly but fortunately we get to watch more football for them so you have uh Jack Sawyer
at where was he 34 I got him at 38 let's talk about Jack Sawyer here a was he? 34. I got him at 38. Let's talk about Jack Sawyer here
a little bit. We both have him above
JT Tuimaloa, his teammate
at Ohio State. Both those guys were former
five stars. You guys can go back to the
Edge Rusher episode and listen to more detail.
But I just, Sawyer,
it's so easy
to see him being an NFL
defensive lineman. It's just so easy.
Things he does well. I mean, even this past week against Akron, high seventies pass rush grade, high seventies run defense grade.
It's just, it's just another week for Jack Sawyer. And it feels like his floor as a player
is so high that I can totally understand why people are like, man, I already know what I'm
getting from a baseline of him. Let's see if we can crack a little bit more into that ceiling and see how much higher we can get with him.
I'm right there with you.
It's a situation where if Sawyer doesn't take another step as a pass rusher this year, I think he'll finish more in the 40s or 50s for me.
But I think when I look at the upside as a pass rusher and how sound he is as a dirty work edge guy against the run, he sits comfortably in the 30s.
Like he's a he has a floor that you don't get with a lot of edge players that I'm a really, really big fan of with room to grow.
We I guess we can talk about nursery right now.
I got him a little bit higher, but you watched him since the offensive tackle show. I'm a big fan because I got him at 26, spoiler, but I'd love to hear from
you. What'd you think of Ariante Ursary, the offensive tackle from Minnesota? Big body,
moves really, really well. I mean, he's kind of what you dream of at the position in terms of
just the physical gifts. gifts now it hasn't been
perfect right like when you look at him last year and this is why you haven't heard nick scorton's
scorton's name yet you know he gave him a little bit of a tough time at times like he hasn't been
perfect but this is somebody that is a two-year starter already before this year at left tackle
he's an anchor for them once again like 6 6 3 30 he just guys that are
that big aren't supposed to be able to necessarily mirror like that so and Ursary can play the rugged
part of the game with that body as well he he's he has the look of a franchise tackle that you
know he's cleaning some things up as he gets more and more experience and he's got a lot of
experience the position which you love but yeah this is what you want an nfl tackle to look like yeah i think that he could use a little bit
more balance use a little bit more generate a little bit more power from for all the way from
his feet just just basically everything to the posterior chain and up obviously up through his
upper body but i think it's all there for him man i think it could really all play out for him
big time do we have another edge rusher that was the same?
I don't think we did actually.
Oh, we should talk about Quinn Ears because you have him at 32.
I don't know if you got a chance to watch him this past week,
but it seemed like he played really well.
I saw some of the clips from him.
I haven't gotten to deep dive into the all 22 quite yet.
I have Quinn Ears just outside of my top 50.
Where did I have him?
I think like 62 or something like
that so he was another player who what I thought of him of the totality of the 2023 season I didn't
want one week against Colorado State to you know mean more than all of the 2023 tape so he would
have been somebody who I didn't want to elevate him into my top 50 yet because it would have felt
disingenuous to all the work that we put in over
the summer,
but you got him at 32.
What do you think of Quinn?
I think with Quinn,
he's somebody that is really getting comfortable operating the offense.
He's in now.
And I think you see him seamlessly getting the ball out with little,
uh,
wasted motion.
I think he's somebody that is understanding how to hold defenders with his
eyes more to push the ball down the field or hit the intermediate shots that are a little bit
tighter. The thing with Quinn is he's never going to be the most physically gifted where he's going
to take over the game running or he's got this howitzer of an arm. But I think the mental side
of the game is starting to settle in for him and how compact he can play in terms of being a point guard is what sticks out to me as well.
So I liked what I saw from Quinn in week one.
I liked what I saw last year, but with hiccups and hurdles where I said I didn't really have a first-round grade in any quarterback.
And I'm still not there yet with him, but if a guy can understand an offense, play comfortably in the offense,
and really understand how to distribute the ball to multiple targets and work different areas of the field with his eyes,
that's a really, really good sign for me.
So Quinn is someone that hasn't played his way into the first round yet for me,
but with the way quarterbacks can go, he has a chance to get there.
Yeah, you had another guy that I want to talk about was Denzel Burke, the corner from
Ohio state. You had him at 46. I had him in this group at number 33. I felt like, again, I saw some
really nice athleticism from him this past week and week one, just to sort of update on how he
played to, to start out at the gate. There were a couple of plays that, um, you know, he's just
triggering downhill and very springy yeah he's
got springs on his heels that's what it looks like for him he is i think that he has the athleticism
to play at the nfl level and i was already very pleasantly surprised i don't want to say surprised
um pleasantly confirmed i don't know because i already thought he was athletic reassured
because of how he played in week one so So it was really good to see that.
Billy Bowman, we both have him in the top 50 as well.
You had him at 44.
I have him at 35.
We talked about him not too long ago in the safety episode
because that was just last week, so sort of fresh for people.
But he is a major ball hawk in the secondary.
I think he's got the best range of any secondary player in this class.
That includes Malachi Starks.
I know it might be sacrilegious to say that after Malachi Starks got the pick that he did,
but that was from the slot. That was from the slot. It wasn't like a total range thing, but
I don't mean to take anything from Starks. We'll get to him later in the show, but I just feel like
a lot of people are going to look at Bowman, lack of weight. They're going to hold it against him,
but I just think he could be such a player for you on the back end. So I'm glad that we, that we got him in here.
Absolutely.
It just rangy,
quick,
loves to go find the football,
can go sideline to sideline with Bowman.
Yep.
30 through 21.
Okay.
So 30 through 21,
30 for me as a guy,
we'll have,
I think there's a lot of variants on this year.
That's Josh Connerly Jr.
The offensive tackle for Oregon raw with traits at the tackle position could see him going
up or down and I know that sounds really cliche and stupid to say during a big board show but I
mean in a in a high degree way or a low degree way not like hey five six spots breaking news
yeah go up and down yeah right there you go that's why you're all here. It's the good stuff on a draft show.
Savan Ravel, corner from East Carolina.
He was corner four for me during that show. Oh, baby.
He comes in at 29.
Super athletic.
He's really developed at this position.
Love his size.
Explosive.
28, Donovan Jackson, the guard for Ohio State.
27, the gigantic corner, Takario Davis, the corner for Arizona.
26, Ashtonon genti the running
back for boise state that went nuclear week one 25 quinshawn judkins another running back ohio
state 24 michael williams edge for georgia i hope he's okay i know he got banged up on a low block
um another guy loaded up with traits oh did he not come back i i didn't i don't know if we got
an update from him usually
don't get college updates after the game right away but i know i know he got a lower body injury
i know it's just a lower body injury i know he got banged up we don't know if he's gonna you know
lose that leg or if he's gonna be back next week that's that's how this goes at the college level
oh wait wait hold on uh no wait i don't know if this is verified i don't know if this is verified
let's keep keep going keep going 23 tyler booker my top interior offensive lineman he's the guard for
alabama 22 ameka abuka the wide receiver for ohio state 21 the alien kenneth grant defensive line
for michigan okay uh all right i found a lot of household names here what do you got i found a
verified report here so michael williams has a grade two ankle sprain oh it sucks her kirby
smart and will be quote unquote week to week although kirby smart said it's not going to be
a long-term ankle injury for him i think that probably just means that it wasn't as bad enough
of a high ankle sprain for him the tightrope surgery means he'll be back this season he'll
be back this season but um it didn't look it didn't look great ask any ask any college football or
shoot ask any football player in general trying to play through a high ankle sprain throughout
the rest of a season is not great think of the three guys that get them a lot right it's wide
receivers running backs and it seems like edge players like that they all push off and they cut so that's why it's so i i've gone through this
process trevor evaluating a guy one year that didn't look anything like he did the year before
and then i asked people and he'd be like well he was playing with a high ankle a year like playing
with a high ankle it's like playing at 40 that's what's gonna suck about this now is that we needed a year to evaluate Michael Williams as a true coach.
I know I was one of the lower people in the draft industry.
Yeah, you're a hater.
You think he can't play?
I had him at edge five on that show.
Undrafted.
Undrafted.
Can't take him.
I mean, all the tools in the world.
I thought he had no pass rush plan,
and I think he was going to have better opportunity this year.
Man.
Hey, if he has a hot month of November,
he'll probably go top five, because that's how this thing goes.
That is how this thing goes.
What about you?
Unfortunately or fortunately, however you want to look at it.
So 30, it's so funny that you had Siobhan Revelle,
the corner from from east
carolina number 29 i have a number 30. i did not watch him for our cornerback episode i didn't get
to him and when you mentioned him i was like oh i forgot somebody had mentioned him to us uh earlier
in the summer and i just didn't pirates came for you right pirates nation brother this guy's hilariously athletic it's stupid yeah i'm trying to think what it's like
what is hold on i'm looking at east carolina's schedule because i need to know if we get him
versus a legitimate wide receiver you're probably looking at the senior bowl and i don't even know
if he'll go you never know because right now the wide receivers that he goes up against, even in last year's tape,
his recovery speed compared to their top speed is so hilarious.
I'm like, I don't even know how to judge you
because you don't even look real right now.
Right.
He's got the length of 6'2", 6'3".
It's not.
He doesn't look real.
The speed in which he covers ground is pretty insane.
He's got jet fuel to jump on the
ball we're talking about tarik woolen types of like athleticism yeah but i like revel more than
i like tarik woolen he's more very clearly and i think he's more physical and he's stronger
he's stronger yeah he's his compete levels this is dangerous because i don't think it's this but
like when you watch the tape it reminded me the first time turning on Witherspoon's tape
where you're like, who the hell is this?
And then you're just watching a different level of compete
where it's loud, it's fiery, it's explosive,
it translates to multiple levels of the game.
That's the vibe you get.
All right, so East Carolina schedule,
they play Old Dominion next,
and then it's App State, Liberty, UTSA, Charlotte, Army, Temple,
Florida Atlantic, Tulsa, North Texas, and Navy.
Anybody out there who's more of a college football diehard than we are,
and I fully understand and admit that there are people who listen to this podcast
who are more deep into the college football world than we are.
We kind of see it from a scouting perspective.
But if you could tell us that there is a top tier matchup for him,
please tell us in the comments,
please be like,
no,
no,
no.
You need to watch like the UTSA games.
The one that stands out to me,
I don't know if they've got a top tier receiver still.
I know that they have in years past the last couple of years,
but if they've got a stud that I,
that we all need to collectively as the addicts watch for Siobhan Revell,
please let us know.
So did you say, um, you say Tulsa, right?
I did say Tulsa.
I think Tulsa has somebody that would be worth watching.
Not Army, Navy levels, right?
Where we're...
I can't remember.
I thought they had one guy, but who knows?
Yeah, you're right.
I would definitely summon the addicts to help us there.
Yeah. I mean, does he have to play against army and navy like does he can we preserve
him for that i just don't yeah don't get hurt that's what i'm saying whatever whatever all-star
bowl you're going to buddy that's what we need you for the most yes all cameras will be on you
and one-on-ones yeah so uh i got rave at 30. Harold Perkins Jr., I have at number 29.
Okay.
Danny Stutzman, like a true coward, one spot ahead of him.
LB1 and LB2.
Ah, the stack.
The sitting on the fence stack.
They're so different.
You can't, you can't.
He's literally sitting on the fence,
and he's got one in each hand, on each side.
You cannot give me shit for this.
I have Perkins at 15.
Because they're completely different football players.
Oh, man.
You're right.
The linebacker position is many, many different models.
I don't even know if Harold Perkins is a linebacker at this point.
Are you a slot defender safety?
I know.
I know, which is scary, but he's just so interesting.
All right.
You could have this one.
Perkins at 29.
I love that you didn't call me out for doing it with Judkins and J genti by the way in the same tier oh yeah you had jenkins at 25
and jenki at 26 and you let that slide what yeah dude this is such a savvy move by me
damn you don't even have it in the right order get rid of it get absolutely smoked
yeah all right i'm gonna be on the lookout for that 27
ohio state wide receiver emeka egg buka uh 26 ariante ursery the offensive tackle from minnesota
as we mentioned 25 dante corleone the defensive tackle from cincinnati we have yet to see him this
season um had a scare this summer back in june when he was diagnosed with blood clots in his
lungs and it's something that he has been able to practice with the team since,
but I read that he has not done full teamwork.
He has not done like a full offense versus defense work.
So he has practiced with the team, but not in that sort of full capacity.
Although they do play Pittsburgh this week.
And Pat Narduzzi, who's the head coach of Pittsburgh, he's like,
yeah, I fully expect Dante Corleone to play.
Like, I think that he's like basically he's
saying i know what they're up to they've been saving him and being like yeah yeah we'll wait
for pittsburgh for you to come back so he thinks that that corleone is playing i certainly hope so
because that would mean that one he's fully healthy and being able to play and two we get
a great college football player back 24 i've holston loveland the tight end from michigan 23
kelvin banks jr the offensive tackle from Texas, 22.
I have Shadur Sanders from Colorado.
And then my last guy in this list, 21.
Isaiah Bond, the wide receiver from Texas.
Now, this is one that I think people will be like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
You were way lower on Bond for the wide receiver episode.
And you are right.
I was.
After sort of listening
to the way that you talked about bond in our conversation on that show, I've since kind of
gone back and watch some other things to them. And then I'll be honest. I watched the week one
tape this past week as well. And I went, you know what? There are some things that I kind of wish
he did better from a nuanced perspective and a technical perspective. But at the end of the day, this dude's so explosive that even if he doesn't move with
the calculated steps that I wish that he could, even though I wish he was more in control of what
he was doing, he gains five or six yards after the catch just from turning around because other
guys can't keep up with them. It's insane. And they're just, I'm watching his tape and I'm like, I've got guys who are more
technical than him, who I can expect to be at a specific spot with more precision than what he
shows right now. But at the end of the day, it's about catching the football, getting yards,
scoring touchdowns, creating separation.
Isaiah Bond can do all those at potentially an elite level.
So I've got him a lot higher than I did in the wide receiver show
just because I think that he has something he absolutely cannot teach.
So I have him at number 21.
I loved him this summer just because of what you said, Trevor.
Like just not a lot of guys can do what he brings to the field,
and that's just glide over the top of a defense, track the deep ball, explosive plays.
There's just no decrease in speed as he changes direction.
It doesn't look human almost.
So big fan of you having him there,
and we're pretty close because I have him at 19.
I think we should talk about Shador Sanders here
because I had him at 36.
You have him in this tier pretty close.
I mean, listen, there's not a huge combo with Shador.
I know they had a little bit of a sweat against North Dakota State.
I thought he played really well in that game.
He can layer throws.
He just has a feel for the position.
I think in the pocket that is.
It's hard to really teach and just you kind of just have it he has this certain feel in the
pocket my argument always with Shadur why I didn't just propel him into like the top 15
right out of summer scouting was he's just not as physically gifted as a lot of the top
quarterback prospects we've seen come out over the years and that's why I don't have any first
round grade on a quarterback right I think Carson Beck's the closest but then you have this tier to me that Shadur and Quinn
you know Cam Ward's trying to play his way there and Cam's totally different kind of cat but
with Shadur I just I like his throwing motion I like how he throws the middle of the field
I think he understands how to throw a catch and run ball. He could extend plays by finding space,
but I don't think he has a huge arm.
I don't think he's going to run away from a ton of NFL defenders all the time.
I think the deep throwing is still a work in progress,
but there's a reason he's a top 40 prospect for both of us,
and it's going to be fun to watch him grow this year.
Dude, the ice in his veins part and the fearlessness part of his game, Shadur, is so much fun to watch.
And it's really hard not to get very bought into very quickly.
I think that when we were going through the QB show, I said on the show, actually, I must have said this on the show.
His comp to me is Teddy Bridgewater.
And I see it.
I think a lot of people hear that.
And I actually, I saw a couple comments where people
were like lol teddy bridgewater and it's i feel like i'm that meme from tiktok where the guy's
like you have no idea how good tim duncan was and it's like i think that people who are saying like
that bridgewater is not a fair conference you do not realize how good Teddy Bridgewater was
when he was at Louisville.
Teddy Bridgewater, go watch.
I'm telling you, anybody out there who might think like,
dude, what is this guy talking about with Shador and Teddy Bridgewater?
Go just watch Teddy Bridgewater highlights.
They move the same.
The ball is the same.
The footwork is the same.
Their eyes are down the field.
Even I think the arm strength is very similar with those two dudes. The pinpoint ability to
play under pressure, the sideline throws. Yeah, the reason why I don't have Shador as high as
some of these other quarterbacks is because I have a little bit of questions with his overall arm
strength. I think it's good enough for the NFL. I don't think it's like an elite arm for the NFL, but that's the exact same way I thought about Bridgewater,
who I had as my QB1 back in that class.
So when I say that I'm comping him to Teddy Bridgewater,
that's a compliment.
There's so much of what Bridgewater did so well
when he was at Louisville,
and I think he would have been able to showcase that
in the NFL for a lot longer
had he not gotten hurt the way that he did.
And I think it really derailed his career even when he came back so that's that's my comp honestly and
I know some people out there bring up Geno Smith as well I don't hate that one but I'm sticking to
the I'm sticking to the Bridgewater I think people vastly underrate Geno's arm like it's a it's
becoming an issue I think I don't think people will realize when healthy how gifted of a thrower Geno is and can be.
And Geno, they're so different.
That blows my mind, that comparison.
I hadn't heard that yet.
And maybe people just don't remember Geno coming out of West Virginia and his shortcomings with the Jets.
Geno had no pocket presence at all.
Shador has great pocket presence.
Gino has a big arm.
Shador does not have a big arm.
They are wildly different quarterback prospects,
like wildly different.
I think people that get insulted by calling him Teddy just aren't realizing
that Shador isn't that fast.
And most of the quarterback prospects in this class outside of Cam Ward are not that fast.
I love the comp, man.
I'm a big fan of that.
I'm with you.
I see it.
Shall we move on?
I think so.
Do you have to remind our friends of any?
Oh, yeah.
You know what?
I actually do have to remind our friends of something.
Thank you very much for reminding me.
I'm just making sure we get paid.
Yeah, it's pretty good, isn't it?
I would have had to owe you, I guess, if we didn't do that one.

BetterHelp. With everything you got going on right now, very easy in life to just let the self-care get put on the back burner. But I'm telling you, it absolutely should not.
When you aren't your best self, it is really hard to put your best foot forward in other areas of
life. Therapy, it's a great way to take a little time out for yourself, recharge, and recalibrate.
It's something that I have personally been able to see the benefits of. I've been doing therapy
for over a year and a half. I said it before on the show, and I'm always going to preach it. I have really enjoyed it.
It's really helped out in so many different areas, so many different relationships that I've had
throughout my life. And it's something that I think people think about therapy and they go,
oh, well, I don't need any help with therapy. I'm not going through anything. Well, it was something
that I needed help getting through initially, but now I just go every two weeks and it's a great
self-checkup. And I was just telling somebody this the other day, it's incredible. Just the
perspective that you get when you just get to say things out loud, because thinking of things in
your head, it's not the same as saying it out loud, being able to talk to somebody. Sometimes
it gives you a totally different perspective. Um, and it's something that I have really enjoyed.
It's helped truly make me the best version of me. And I've really enjoyed it.

Make sure the little alley up there,
pal.
Uh,
no problem.
I was battling the sun while you're doing the ad reads.
I always,
I'm still,
I'm still,
uh,
I'm still getting used to my new place and I have not put up a curtain on
the,
I have blinds, but not a curtain on the one window so i just get hit with this laser beam when we record during sunset oh i see
it yeah you can see it coming i've been like ducking and dodging and weaving and uh i haven't
done a lot of shows at this time and now i realize i'm realizing like man i gotta gotta think about
this so that's it but hey you know you you paid hey, you got the bills paid for us, and I fought the sun.
So we're all good now.
And now we get to do the top 20.
Yep, top 20.
Here we go.
Who's your next 10?
Carson Beck at 20.
I like Carson Beck as a quarterback prospect.
You should.
Right.
I get it's not Anthony Richardson out there or anything like that,
but there's a lot to like in his game.
19, Isaiah Bond, as you brought up.
18, Tyleek Williams.
He's the defensive line from Ohio State.
That would help everyone.
17, Malachi Starks, safety from Georgia.
You brought up the pick he had.
16, Jonah Sabanaiya.
Works for me.
Okay, offensive line, Arizona.
15, Harold Perkins, Linebacker, LSU.
14, my top safety, Kevin Winston Jr. from Penn State.
Had a really nice force fumble this week.
13, Colston Loveland, my top tight end out of Michigan.
12, Benjamin Morris.
Morrison.
Morrison, great corner prospect out of Notre Dame.
The only reason he's being overshadowed is because there's just a special one in this group.
11, Deion Walker, the hulking defensive lineman from Kentucky.
So I don't have Tyleek Williams in my top 50,
and you got him in the top 20.
I'll tell you what.
My feet are getting a little cold about him rushing the passer.
He earned any, I don't know if you saw this in Ultimate,
but he had an elite
run defense i watched i watched the snaps because it was so high and that's the thing man but that's
that's him but you don't get drafted for stopping the run in the top 20 that's why i'm like i i
get it i don't know jim when i watch it never gets It's just going to evolve that you're not even saying anything.
It's just screaming as high pitch as I possibly can.
That was sort of what we talked about
the conversation with Tyleek Williams
when we went through the interior defensive line episode
is that I think he's a really good run defender,
but certainly when I watched him last year,
if he did not win with his first step,
he did not win in my opinion.
And I actually thought it was a little better this past week,
but you're going up against Akron.
All due respect to Akron.
The Zips?
Shout out LeBron.
Shout out LeBron.
He didn't go there, but he doesn't rep them either.
He reps Ohio State.
That's kind of freaked up, actually.
I actually never thought of that.
I never thought of that i never thought of that i mean come on he's not gonna cheer for akron why not they're not gonna win an actual title
all due respect to akron shout out i cheer for the mets they're never gonna win a world series
yeah it makes you think right yeah yeah yeah you're right yeah yeah you're right you and
lebron very similar individuals yeah you're right there you're on the same no we're not
because i cheer for the mets he doesn't cheer for akron damn okay you're right i just switched up
get wrecked lebron it's okay uh yeah the tyler williams against the zips yeah elite run defense
grade but you want to see more from the pass rush so he's hard to move he really is i mean is it gonna be a
chris jenkins path though where everyone's like man i love the look of chris jenkins and nobody
can move him against the in the run game and then just never that pass rush light never turns on
and then it's like ah now you're going day two i i this is a maybe i'm being a wild overreaction
of one week and i i like tyler williams having may team being a wild overreaction to one week and I, I like Tyler
Williams having made team. No, it's not one week. It was, no, it's not one. It's not last year.
Yes. He's played a lot of football already. It's just the combo that you have to have when
projecting these. Like I like highlighting if he does this, he'll go up, but if he doesn't,
he'll go down. That's a good way of like doing this part of the show. Hey, I think that the
Chris Jenkins Jr. shout out is actually a good one because Chris Jenkins Jr. went 49th overall
and he really didn't figure it out as a pass rusher.
And it almost feels like
if Tyleek continues to play really well as run defender,
that almost might be his floor at this point
because a lot of people like Tyleek Williams
more so, or at least the ceiling of him
more so than Chris Jenkins Jr.
So having him in the top 50,
I totally, I guess I understand. I have have him he's like in the 60s for
me maybe um so i just have him outside of it but yeah anyways there you go did did we get your we
still need your oh no yeah uh 20 for me tennessee edge rusher james Jr. Wow. What? 20.
Brother,
he's a twig. Despise.
Despise James Pierce.
On the scale of number one overall to undrafted.
It's his college address.
Deer Slim.
God, it's getting real dark.
On a
scale of number one overall to undrafted. Yeah, he's undrafted. It's over for him. So James Pierce, it's getting real dark. On a scale of number one overall to undrafted, yeah, he's undrafted.
It's over for him.
So James Pierce, what a kickoff.
I actually...
Where is this going to go?
No, how did James Pierce Jr. play this?
Hold on, I'm going to look at his grade really quick.
I still need to watch Tennessee because they had a lot of interesting things happen this weekend
and I did not watch any of the tape.
Also, Nico Iamaleama leava their quarterback is good
that's what i'm talking about like that's why i want to watch this tape because the broadcast
little bit i saw was like whoa is pierce hurt or i think he's hurt isn't he or no
uh he why did i think he was hurt wait he played 10 snaps yeah he's not healthy
he only played 10 snaps yeah 59.9 grade he's trash oh no you were
right oh no oh no he's not folks please don't clip this we don't need to do we don't need this to be
we probably have the most clippable like we're big fans of james fierce here yeah is he hurt i
guess i didn't i missed i missed that i yeah i mean, you would think there'd be a lot of noise around something this big.
Oh, an obituary.
Oh, no, there's somebody else.
Oh, my goodness, God.
Yeah, somebody died a long time ago named James.
Nobody seems to have the answer
by the way on this which is very frustrating I'm googling I can't find anything uh so anyways we're
on to next week yeah James Pierce Jr I got him at number 20 overall obviously extremely explosive
player um I was uh when we were going through the edge Rush episode I kind of explained this
in a little bit more detail he is super explosive but I feel like he just wins off athleticism right
now his weight profile is already a little bit lower. You got to be more of a technician.
You got to make sure that these offensive linemen are not getting hands on you. Cause right now at
the college football level, you can blow by these dudes and they can't get hands on you at the NFL
level. It's not going to be like that. You've got to be able to win in more ways than just with your
first step and your athleticism, although it is elite from James Pierce Jr. So very much all of
the athleticism that you would want from that position,
but you need to see a little bit more strength,
a little bit more hand use for him.
He's got plenty of time to do that.
He's not dead.
20th, I got him 20th overall.
19th overall, I have Carson Beck,
quarterback from Georgia.
Wow, we're Spider-Man meme in that one.
20 and 19.
20 and 19, there we go.
Takario Davis, the quarterback from Arizona,
I have him at 18.
17.
QB1 Connor Wegman.
Let's finish.
I came back down.
Finish.
I respect this.
Finish reading your list here, but then go right, pivot right to Wigman.
All right.
You deserve this platform rather than having the,
nobody should be tweeting through anything.
It's 16.
Nobody should be tweeting.
It's one game.
Quinn Sean Junkins, the running back from Ohio State,
I have him at number 16.
Kevin Winston Jr., the safety from Penn State at number 15.
Deion Walker, defensive lineman from Kentucky, I got him at 14.
Abdul Carter, big riser for me
because I kind of saw him in a different light
the more that I watched of him
since the Edgerish episode.
I have him at number 13.
Kenneth Grant, the defensive lineman from Michigan.
One of them.
I have him at number 12.
And then Ashton Jeanty, the running back,
who, as you mentioned, went nuclear
for Boise State this past weekend.
I have him as RB1 at number 11.
So, yeah, let's have the Connor Wegman conversation.
Wegman was bad.
He was really bad this past week when Texas A&M faced off against Notre Dame.
And there's a lot of context that I do want to talk about with Wegman.
And it's less like coping, I promise.
I don't think either quarterback looked good, by the way, in that game.
And here's the thing.
I think there's some things to think about with wegman and it's not to take away the fact
that he had a bad game this is the worst game that i've watched of him there's no doubt about it and
in fact it was so bad that it's almost like you can't do this this is not something you do but
it was almost so bad that you go holy cow we just got to throw this out i mean this is almost an
outlier for him at this point of how bad that game was. I go back and I watch the first quarter.
First quarter is actually not terrible.
Now, you can tell it's like he drank 10, like shotgun, not even drank, shotgun, 10 Red Bulls five minutes before the game got started.
I mean, he is, the footwork in this game was worse than I have ever seen it from him he was
all over the place it looked like he was playing way too wound up in this game and I get it big
game game day was there Johnny Manziel was in the house like you're going up against Notre Dame it's
a tone setter for the rest of the season the potential college football playoff and here's
another thing I wonder if this dude read a lot of the reports of him
potentially being a top five quarterback coming up
because it almost looked like he was trying to play hero ball at times.
So I wonder if he was like, yo, I got to be a top,
I got to be a first round quarterback in this game.
It kind of looked like that might have been the case.
Notre Dame's defense, I think, is going to end the year
at least as a top five, top 10 defense, maybe even a top five defense.
That is a really good really well
coached defense that I don't think should be not getting credit just because Wigman had a bad game
but the footwork was so bad from him the decision making wasn't good the receivers weren't really
gaining separation and just it was a lot of what could have gone wrong for him did. And it was almost, it felt like an avalanche as
that game went on. And the more poorly he played, the more frustrating you could tell that he was
getting with himself and it was not helping. I say that you almost have to throw the game out
and we can't do that as evaluators, but he should probably do that as the quarterback himself.
He's got to basically be like, all right, my season starts this week because it's got to look
way different from him. When we talked about him during the summer, me having him QB one and a lot
of other people having him as QB five or in their top five QBs came down to projection. We talked
about the things that we'd liked seeing from him last year,
knowing that he didn't really have a lot of starting reps under his belt.
He got hurt last year, a leg injury that ended his season after three and a half games.
And what you saw against Notre Dame was a player
who has not played a lot of football,
did not know how to adjust to adversity,
probably was very hyped up to play
after injury for the first time in almost a year, has NFL draft expectations to him,
and was going up against a very, very difficult defense. And I think a culmination of that was a
lot of great ingredients for a terrible recipe for Conor Wigman to kick this season off. So
I didn't want to move him from QB1 just because I still think that in the long run,
he will be fine.
This year is a big developmental year for him.
The second half of the year was always going to mean more, in my opinion, than the first half.
But there's no doubt about it.
He is not as far along as I hoped he would be to start the season, even with all of that.
So not giving up on him as an NFL quarterback at all whatsoever.
But it was disappointing because I wished that he was further along
than certainly what we saw against Notre Dame.
Very well said.
I'm very well said.
It was a brutal game.
There's no way around it.
This is still a 20, 21-year-old quarterback.
I believe he just turned 21.
That beer yet, you know?
No, he's just had his first never, never, never once had beer.
You know, it's interesting to me how it's the note.
The Notre Dame defense isn't allowed to be good, right?
I'm not.
Wigman was bad on his own, right?
Like, let me make this evidently clear right but a lot of the
top quarterback prospects played cupcake games week one and had good numbers as they should
and is this going to be the toughest defense he plays all year i think the answer is yes in the
sec but it'll definitely be one of the i mean like yeah, like, you're going up against Benjamin Morrison, Xavier Watts, Jack Kaiser, Riley Mill, Colin Cross.
Yeah, I mean, like, that's why I said Notre Dame's defense,
in my opinion, is a top 10 defense,
perhaps even top five defense in the country.
This isn't even close, by the way.
The other top teams they play this year are Missouri, LSU, and Texas.
But I don't think those defenses are as good as Notre Dame's maybe Texas's but I
don't I don't know maybe they lost a lot to the draft as well Notre Dame's I in my opinion on
paper better than all of them what right is Marcus Freeman like I'm just making the point
that that's the danger of reacting week one in my opinion so yep uh yep. Uh, top 10. All right, let's have some fun.
All right.
Abdul Carter edge for Penn state at 10.
Can't teach what that dude has nine.
Travis Hunter, wide receiver corner at a Colorado.
I,
I will remind everyone.
I liked Hunter a lot better at wide receiver.
And I know that's not consensus opinion.
I had him as wide receiver four on our wide receiver show
in a really good group at the top five.
I had him as corner eight.
Whatever path he chooses to do,
he's going to get exponentially better at that position
as he has better stamina and time to invest in it.
He's just a damn good player.
I think with the way contracts are working I think
he's gonna play wide receiver yeah I that's it's it's gonna be a big talking why would you not
he has to because I think somebody did the math and what was it like cb3 in the NFL would be like wide receiver 22 when it comes to contracts.
Right.
And like wide receivers typically age a little better than corners.
So maybe you get paid one more time on average.
Sure.
Yeah. I mean, to put it in perspective, financially, it makes way more sense.
And I think I like him better at wide receiver.
I know not everybody feels that way, but if it's even, why would you play corner?
I think he is more rare of a football player as a corner.
I agree,
but yeah,
I don't care.
No,
I wouldn't.
If it's $36 million or 22 in one day,
not a year for the love of the game,
love of the, you got to respect the game. Pro the game proven wrong eight will campbell offensive tackle lsu seven james pierce edge pass rusher tennessee six
kelvin banks jr offensive tackle of texas tetero is it teteroa i've always screwed this up yeah
teteroa mcmillan teteroa mcmillan who's just a marvelous wide receiver at arizona and put on
he had like the ashton gentry of wide receiver performances this week.
I feel like he's still out there catching touchdown somewhere for Will Johnson.
Corner out of Michigan.
Three.
Nick Skorton, the edge rusher on Texas A&M to Luther Burden.
The third wide receiver, Missouri.
One drum roll.
Mason Graham.
Oh, baby.
Let's go. That dude is a baller yeah it's a good it's a good good looking top 10 uh 10 for me is michael williams from georgia nine nick scorton from texas
a and m eight very similar here also have will campbell at number eight i got luther burden the
third at number seven yes it's a little switch for me. You'll see in a second.
Benjamin Morris in the corner from Notre Dame.
I have him at number six.
Malachi Starks is safety from Georgia at number five.
Tetsuro McMillan, hand up.
This is a little bit of week one is kind of infused into this year because McMillan and Luther Burden were sort of right there.
And what McMillan did in week one,
like broke my brain in,
in a lot of ways,
like just,
I,
a player of his size moving the way that he does silly to me.
So I moved them up to wide receiver one,
but I mean,
they're both,
they're both top seven.
Am I,
am I,
let me ask you what comps does he get more Drake London or Mike Evans?
He's going to get Mike Evans. He's going to get Mike Evans more.
He's going to get Mike Evans.
Because he's faster.
Because he's faster than Drake London.
Drake moved really well laterally, though, for his size.
I know, I know.
And I think that McMillan's going to get some of that.
But people are going to watch what McMillan did this past weekend,
where he's somehow at his size running by people on the sidelines.
And they're going to go, yeah, it's Mike Evans.
What do you think Mike came in as the at the combine uh mike was 230 at the combine was 225 i think he i think he plays at 230 i think but i think he got down to 225 to run the 453
just stupid i mike's i'm not that i love mcmill. I just said I had him in my what?
I'm fifth overall.
Yeah.
Mike Evans is not.
There's not many people in the history of the NFL that have done what Mike Evans have done.
No, none actually.
I'm just not.
I'm not ready to go there yet.
That's fair.
That's fair.
Look, as the keeper of your Mike Evans comp is stupid.
Right. Do we have to remind that?
I'm not doing it yet.
I can't do it yet.
We got to let this season play out,
but I'm just telling you he's going to get Mike Evans
more than he's going to get Drake London at this point.
Mike Evans has posted a thousand yards receiving
every year since I graduated college.
No other receiver has done it, brother.
And it's not like he plays with Tom Brady every year.
That's, oh man, it's crazy.
McMillan's awesome.
I don't want to take away from McMillan here.
I just want to bring up,
I want to prepare everybody for what's about,
like what we're going to have, what's going to happen.
I have Travis Hunter at number three overall.
He's just a special football player.
He's a special takeover football player
that every single team in the NFL would just die to have, regardless of what position he's a special takeover football player that every single team in the nfl would just die to have um
regardless of what position he's playing to will johnson and number one united front
mason graham from michigan mason graham is the uh official prospect of the pod for 2025. He is. He is. So here's the drumroll. That is the
top 50 for both of us. We put
both of our top 50s into a Google
sheet. We kind of went through some aggregate
and we just kind of like talked about it a little bit before
the show. I know it breaks you guys' heart. We did a little
planning before the show, but we sort of needed to
for this exercise. So here
is, for those keeping score at home,
the NFLSC
top 50. I'll list it off here you got mason graham at
number one obviously because both of us have mason graham at number one that's math folks
that's how math works will johnson is number two tetrault mcmillan is number three travis
hunter's number four nick squarton is number five luther burden number six will campbell at seven
benjamin morrison at eight abdul carter at nine deon walker at 10 malachi starts at number six, Will Campbell at seven, Benjamin Morrison at eight, Abdul Carter at nine, Deion Walker at 10, Malachi Starks at number 11.
By the way, if people are like, wait, none of you had that player even that high.
Like I think of Abdul Carter, people could be like,
neither of you had him at number nine.
How do you be at number nine?
It's because the aggregate of where he is between our rankings of 13 and 10
would be closer than a bigger gap of us having maybe one player a little bit higher,
one player a little bit lower. Just so math works. It's not going to be perfect either a bigger gap of us having maybe one player, a little bit higher, one player, a little bit lower,
just so math words.
It's not going to be perfect either.
Cause we kind of talked about this and move guys.
Malachi Starks.
We have a number 11,
Kevin Winston,
Jr.
Number 12.
Look at us cowards.

And Connor Wegman rounding it out at number 50. Wait, we get five quarterbacks in there. I think we did. I think we did. Wegman, Ward, Ewers, Shador, Sanders, Beck. Yeah, there
we go. There we go. That's a good looking big board. Good looking big board. This is fun, man.
I really enjoyed this. This is such a really cool way to end the summer scouting series is now
putting together this, this official show big board.
So this is a lot of fun, buddy.
This is great.
It really was.
It's, it's a nice way to, you know,
paint the full picture of all the,
the work we've done on,
on this class so far and see where it goes from here and how it changes.
And the best part is now we get to actually attach these players to teams on the mock draft show
this week which is just i it just gets everybody going a little bit more when you think uh
you know travis hunter catching a pass from i don't know the Who's going to be really bad, but not taking a quarterback?
Who's a team with a quarterback?
Hmm, this is tricky.
Maybe Travis Hunter catching passes from J.J. McCarthy?
No, but they have too many pass catchers already.
Yeah, but they have it.
But it's why we do the mock draft.
I know.
You're doing the mock before the mock.
You know, you mentioning that,
I never even really thought about that until right now.
I've only thought about these guys
as college football players.
I haven't actually thought about them on NFL teams.
It's really weird.
And on Wednesday, that's exactly what we get to do.
We're going to do the very first, way too early,
week one of the NFL season mock draft
that we know you guys love.
It's, again, another one of our favorite exercises.
We're stacking them up here this week. But it is the season, man. It's again, another one of our favorite exercises.
We're stacking them up here this week, but it is the season, man. It's going to be a lot of fun,
but Hey, we know that you guys have takes on this big board episode, and we know you got takes from summer scouting. You want to get off. Even if you got takes just from week one,
let's hear we'll read them all best way to do it. YouTube.com backslash at NFL stock exchange,
be checking in on the channel throughout the entire season. We're going to try to make this as draft focused as possible.
So anytime you guys want to get in on the draft conversation,
you could do so right here with the fellow draft addicts.
That's the best way to do it.
If you are audio only,
if you're listening to audio only at Tampa Bay,
Trey at Connor J.
Rogers on both X and Instagram,
you can hit us up there.
We've already gotten people who have tweeted and messages with their draft
takes already,
which means we know that you guys are going to have takes throughout the
entire season.
But buddy,
anything else before we get out of here?
No,
I think that sums it up really well.
Yeah,
I think that was,
that was a really,
really fun show,
man.
It's just,
it's crazy to look at this and like,
it's,
it's all coming together.
It's amazing how quickly it turns over to a new draft class.
And the fact that we're going to do a mock draft this week it just makes it that much better
man i'm so pumped first mock draft of this season you guys better be there because my lights are
going back on it's going to be a lot of fun with this power bill is being paid my family can eat
thank god my family can finally have a full meal. Thanks to the mock draft season returning.
I'm Trevor Sigma.
That is Connor Rogers.
Thank you guys so much for watching and listening to the NFL Stock Exchange podcast.
