Starting point is 00:00:00 50 to 41. Whoa. McPounder, this is a guy that's near and dear to the show's heart. 49 is totally fair. He's a nose tackle
Starting point is 00:00:07 living in a world that doesn't, that doesn't two gap anymore. You just spies run defense. You have to get up the field! You would go out there
Starting point is 00:00:14 with like seven DBSs on the field. Seven on seven is the purest form of the game. No one's hand is in the ground. They're all just standing around like it's flag football. Yeah, they call it an amoeba front. Why don't you learn ball? I'm gonna buy you an air raid boy shirt.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Does it come with, it comes with a bib. It comes with a bib. McPounder at 14 to redeem the pot. My God, come on. What's you going to do on passing downs? At least he gets you to passing downs. Your flag football team is eight-yard run.
Starting point is 00:00:39 Six-yard run. We're up 77 to 33 because you're running the ball. Welcome to the opening bell of the NFL Stock Exchange podcast. Trevor Sikkim and Connor Rogers here with you for the final mock draft of the 2026 NFL season. On this show, we're going side by side. It is Connor. versus Trevor here in all of the info, all of the information, all of the educational research that we have done over the last 10 months. It's led to this and our final mock drafts for you
Starting point is 00:01:19 guys here on this Wednesday draft Eve. Connor, how you doing my friend? You and I were joking before we press record or the chef really does the honors. We're doing great. This is the best week of the year, obviously. It's amazing. But there is a little mental exhaustion when you start to see the names that can potentially go around one and you're like okay I'm ready start the clock roger please start the clock right now uh but for the last time for the 2006 NFL draft class which does make me it's a bittersweet feeling it makes me a little sad we will do one last mock draft with this group I can't believe it feels like just yesterday we had started summer scouting I say it every year dude this this show right here is going to be so much fun because there's so much that
Starting point is 00:02:04 goes into it. It's summer scouting. It's evals during the season. It's intel that we've heard at the Shrine Bowl, the Senior Bowl, the Combine, after Free Agency. It's so much stuff that goes into this show. And for those of you guys that don't know, Con and I are in multiple mock draft competitions, but there's a specific mock draft competition that is that is amongst the elite media members in our field. And these are the mock drafts that we will be submitting for those accuracy scores. And so we're going to give you our best here on this show. I see people saying, like, where am I? They're asking if I'm actually like in your basement in New York recording this show. I would hope that you guys know that if we were actually going to be
Starting point is 00:02:47 close enough, we would actually do a show in the same room together. Or maybe. Yes. If you were staying at my house. Maybe that, maybe that would end. Maybe that would mess up the chemistry. And we can't mess up good thing. We can't. We can't be side by side. If you were staying at my house during this trip, I would turn a room into a studio. But no, that is not the case. But soon, we will be together because Friday night, if you haven't heard, we will be doing day two live, the Bleacher Report stream. We will be doing day three live, the Bleacher Report stream, YouTube, VR app, HBO Max. It's going to be unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:03:18 I can't wait. Can't wait, baby. I'm going to be on Bleach Report stream for night one. Hell yeah. Tomorrow, it's going to be myself. Adam Lefcoe is going to be hosting it. Michael Parsons, Malik Neighbors, they're going to be on. on it as well. We're going to have a good time over there. You are recap at a bunch of picks with
Starting point is 00:03:34 Sims, right, on NBC. So make sure you guys go follow all the socials. Make sure you get all of that good stuff as well. And then, like you mentioned, day two and then day three of the draft, we're both going to be together on the Bleacher report set. The rumor is, it's just you and me day three, like, wild. That's not a rumor. Wild move. No, no, Jake Glazer confirmed that. We have the wheel. Jake Laser confirmed that that is happening. It is just you and I. It's just like this, only sitting together. Jesus take the wheel. I mean, my God, it's going to be, man.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Saturday stream is going to be an NFLSC takeover for the ages. I'm pretty sure. So I got to go in and go through rehearsal on the shows and everything. And there is a part of the screen that we were looking at on the BR set that has the chat up. So I want you guys to know that on day three, y'all are doing that show with us. Come hang out with us because it's going to be an absolute party. We're going to get to see the chat and go back and forth with you guys, just like we do here on the show.
Starting point is 00:04:35 There are just going to, you know, be some fancier cameras and lighting and everything that's actually going to be hopefully enhancing the takes that we have all throughout day three. Yeah, did you get Carson Beck in this one? I want to let the mystery be right now. Okay, yeah. Yeah, okay. So, we'll leave it again. Little peek behind the curtain at Badlands, our social producer, Mark,
Starting point is 00:05:00 phenomenal talent, great guy. We do, all of us on the staff, do a Jets seven-round mock every year. We make all the picks, and he posts them in their own graphics, and we use it for social. I had the Jets take Carson Beck at 140. And when I sat there, yeah, it's about right. I was like, yeah, and by the way, some, you know, it's mostly predictive. I was like, yeah, I could see Frank Reich liking Carson Beck, pick 140, end of the fourth round. And then you get that little nugget today, and you're like, okay.
Starting point is 00:05:30 You know, I've always said that Beck's range is anywhere between 14 and 140. You know? I think that's pretty fair of you to say. I think that could be anywhere. That's a pretty good estimate. Pretty good estimate. Yeah. Look, when you get Carson Beck might be in the first round takes.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Like I said this on Twitter, the pre-draft process has run its course. And it's time to get the final mock drafts out there. And then it's time to actually see where these players are getting picked. I see a lot of people who are sending Super Chats, we get to the Super Chats after the show and we get to after the mock draft stuff because I want to get right to it. Let's get right to it. I wanted to let the stream breathe a little bit so that we could get some people in here. But I think we got to get right to this thing.
Starting point is 00:06:15 So, Connor, I'll let you kick it off. We'll just go back and forth here. You can pick and then I'll pick and then we'll kind of like talk about sort of how we got to our selections, what might be a little bit different, why it's a little bit different. I mean, I think that this one's easy, right? I mean, the Raiders, Fernando Mendoza, we don't have to think too hard about that. So we can select Fernando Mendoza for both of these. I've said this before, and I'm sure that we'll break it down kind of like when the pick actually becomes official.
Starting point is 00:06:40 But I don't think that this is just, you know, you're taking a quarterback because you have to take a quarterback. I think it's a good quarterback prospect. And I think that Raiders fans should be excited about this one. Yeah. There's not a mock draft in the world that's not going to have Fernando Mendoza at number one overall. So I think this is the most. moment that a lot of people have been waiting for. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Because the debates over the last two weeks have been hot. And depending on who you have here at number two, the draft could be completely different. So, our resident Jets guy, a man with industry sources. Oh, no. Who do you think is going number two? I still think it's Arvel Reese. And this has become a fascinating local media. I am really fascinating being in the middle of it, right?
Starting point is 00:07:31 Because you have the national... I was going to say, do you consider yourself local media with the Jets? I'm a hybrid because I am local Jets media because I do pre and post game for their local affiliated network. So there's no doubt. I'm local media with the Jets. I am not on this level at all, but the closest thing I can compare it to is in our fields.
Starting point is 00:07:54 And it feels weird to say because I'm so far below him. But like Daniel Jeremiah does Chargers stuff all season. Right. All see. I think he, is he on the radio team? I'm pretty sure. Either way. I don't know what broadcast he's on.
Starting point is 00:08:07 He was talking about it with Andrew Marshan today on a podcast. Part of the thing he loves about his job is he does charger stuff all season and he does the draft. I do jet stuff all season and I do the draft. So I'm local Jets national draft. The national draft people pretty much have all picked Bailey. The local media. besides Rich Samini, who has covered the Jets. When Aaron Glenn played,
Starting point is 00:08:32 Samini covered the Jets and has done a damn good job. Yeah, Samini's seen it all. So, and Rich went with, Rich went with Bailey in the ESPN expert mock, but all of the other local guys, Connor Hughes, Zach Rosenblatt, they've all gone Reese. I'll get right to it.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Like, for me, Trevor, and I'm sure you do a lot of this too, Whenever you hit a stalemate where you're like, man, they've kept it close to the vest. We don't definitely know. Nobody has definitely told me one way or the other. You fall back on logic, what you've been studying all year. To me, R.Vell Reese is the fit with the Jets. It is the speed at linebacker.
Starting point is 00:09:16 It is the powerful hands. Aaron Glenn likes hybrid players. They traded for Mink Fitzpatrick because they think he's a hybrid defense. back. That's why they trade it. They want to kind of, they want to look different snap by snap. That's not a knock on David Bailey, who's a really good player, who they might take. But David Bailey is a stand-up outside rusher. Are you ever going to see David Bailey playing in space or off the ball in the middle of the field? No. Nope. So, it's weird. It's been held against Reese that he needs to grow and transition into being an
Starting point is 00:09:49 edge player. I think the Jets view it as a positive that they can use him. in different ways in the front seven. And that's why the, that's the logic I'm applying of why they take Arvel Rees. I am with you 100%. My picket number two overall is Arville Reese. Since Arvel Reese has become part of the conversation to get to this point, I have not wavered from this. He is going to what you said, lean back on logic.
Starting point is 00:10:21 Arville Reese is so much more of the Aaron Glenn player. The physical profile in which he plays is so much more of an Aaron Glenn profile type of a player. So I think that he fits the coaching staff because of that. And then if you want to talk about maybe Darren Mucci is operating on more of a long-term timeline, the big reason why I've heard people talk about David Bailey as the bigot too is they say, well, he's better for you right now. I hate this, by the way. He's the more sure thing.
Starting point is 00:10:53 I do too. I don't think that's logic at all. It's the worst message they could be sending the fan base, by the way. Because here's the thing about the Jets, too. They're a year or two away from a legitimate winning window. That lines up perfectly with what R.Vell Reese would be for you. Right. I just don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:16 The Rvel Reese talent, play style, and timeline of development, all three of those things line up. line up with him being the better pick for the Jets. I just, I don't really understand where the David Bailey stuff is coming from. So I'm with you. Arville Reese at number two for the Jets. Yeah. And listen, man, it's,
Starting point is 00:11:34 it's going to be fascinating because there's a huge divide on this pick. I know everybody follows the odds and the predictive markets. And honestly, they're just going with the wins of the bets. So it's not an indicator either way. Right. Right. But it's going to be really interesting because there's a trickle effect here, Trevor. It is funny to me that the first thing. everyone says is, well, when the Jets take Bailey, the whole NFL wants to trade into three for
Starting point is 00:11:57 Arvel Reese. Does anyone think, well, then maybe the Jets should take Arvel Reese? If Rees is available at three, I think Brett Beach is on the phone. Like, I think Kansas City, I think Kansas City picks number three if Reese is there. I think they do whatever it takes because they had a top 30 visit with him. He is a perfect Steve Spagnolo player. He is the type of guy that is missing on their front. If Reese is available at three, I almost guarantee you I feel like Kansas City is going to be making that pick at three. Yeah, I think I could see them making a big splash for sure.
Starting point is 00:12:31 But by the way, I mean, I guess this is kind of giving it away, but it might be the same for you. I don't put trades in my final mock. So I have one. Okay. And the reason why I have it in there is because I feel as though both of these players, I felt a big gravitational pull for these two players to these two teams. And it was a little rich or a little tough to see them getting exactly where they were supposed to go.
Starting point is 00:12:59 But I think it's very realistic to see a little trade between these two teams. So I had one, but I'm with you. Like almost exclusively, I never do trades because I'm trying to be as accurate as possible. And it's like when you do trades, you're just kind of throwing a dart at like blindfolded. And we'll talk about some teams that could trade up, like we obviously just did there with the Chiefs. But I'm with you. For the most part, I'm not really predicting too many trades. But I do have one that I like a lot that I did end up putting into this first round.
Starting point is 00:13:28 Yeah. When I write it for NBC, I'll write in the blurb like, hey, you know, I heard this is a spot where this trade could happen. Or, you know, I go through what I'm hearing and all of that. But I don't often put them actually in concrete info. So before we get to number three, that'll be later tonight. It'll be on NBCSports.com if you want to see that kind of info. Before we get to number three, Brandon gave us a $500 superjubber.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Oh my goodness. Brandon said, first time, long time, addict in the shadows. I do Cowboys content for Twitter, but my love is the NFL draft, and it continues to go through this show each year. You small fries deserve all the flowers and the love. I'll be sporting my sweet NFL SE hat all weekend.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Brandon, we would thank you. to the moon just for buying a hat and supporting the show. But $500 to support this show, brother, that is unbelievably generous. We appreciate you. And he gets a shirt. He's in the 500 club. He's in the 500 club. He's getting a shirt. Welcome. You get a T-shirt. You sit on the board of directors next to your choosing of Bryce or Peter or Tony. And there's a couple other members as well. Welcome to the Big Dogs Club, Brandon. But in all seriousness, thank you for your support of the show. that really does mean a lot. Yeah, we appreciate it, Braden.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Thank you. Thank you, thank you. Arizona at number three. Very curious. I kind of figured that you would go with Arvali. So to me, this is where the show actually starts. Yeah, it's good. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:14:58 So it's not really that exciting because this is definitely a point, like you said earlier, I think there could be a trade here. But I ended up going with Jeremiah Love. Now, what I did. I did. Now, what I'll say is, you know, when I do my, post combine, everything I learned in Indy. One of the things I said was it starts at three for Jeremiah I Love right after the combine.
Starting point is 00:15:23 And it really picked up the combo with him around four. And then we reached a week out from the draft and Jeremiah Love at 3 is in play, which is always a warning sign. Like it's too close to the draft for that to be real. But the reason I am slightly leaning into this is because it's something I heard at Indy. I would think David Bailey is in play. I would think a trade is in play, but there is part of me that looks at Michael LaFleur
Starting point is 00:15:51 and what he can do with Jeremiah Love and this team needing a superstar and kind of leaning into this pick. So I knew you weren't going to have this pick, so I'm excited for us to start to branch in different directions. No, I am not going to have this pick. I think it might just be because I'll lose my mind if this is the actual pick here for the Cardinals.
Starting point is 00:16:12 I think that Jeremiah loves a hell of a player. We did our Big Board episode on Monday. He's my number two overall prospect. But I just, I look at the Cardinals. And to me, I know this is a predicted mock. This isn't necessarily what you would do. Like if the Cardinals ended up doing this, this to me is like the best option like five or six.
Starting point is 00:16:31 And it's so hard for me to get to the point where that would actually happen with them. I have David Bailey going number three to the Arizona Cardinals. Yeah, I don't think that's crazy at all. And the reason why is because I did a lot of research on prospect visits. I did a lot of research on, you know, how often teams will typically either draft from their prospect visits or maybe tip things a little bit with how many they bring in from a specific position. The Cardinals, they drafted Walter Nolan from a top 30 visit last year. They brought in a ton of defensive linemen for their top 30 visits. So they sort of hinted that they were going to go that direction.
Starting point is 00:17:01 All of the offensive linemen that they have brought in for top 30 visits, at least the ones that I've seen, there's certainly some that might have not been reported. But the ones that I've seen, Maxianich, Caden Proctor, Austin Barber, Caleb Tiernan. Like those aren't at three overall type of players or even maybe even like mini tradebacks. So I think they're looking at offensive line maybe a little bit later. And they did take a top 30 with David Bailey. So I'm going David Bailey here. I'm kind of trusting that process. Even though things are a little, even though things are a little bit different with the coaching staff,
Starting point is 00:17:30 Monty Austin board is still the general manager there. So I've got David Bailey coming off the board at three. Did you catch Bailey's interviews when asked about the Jets today? I did. I did. I did. He said he couldn't be less of a jet. Couldn't be less of a jet.
Starting point is 00:17:45 He instead of saying Mugi, he said Manny, I think twice. So it couldn't be less of a jet. It made me laugh that little slip up. Couldn't be more of a cardinal. Yeah, he's talked to Mani a couple times, even though he thinks that's the GM of the Jets. All right, so David Bailey at three and yeah, I'm not going to lie, Trev.
Starting point is 00:18:03 This is a really hard pick to make because one, we all know the world knows they'd love to get out of this pick. I think they would love to see Reese. make it here too, but you and I, you know, it's probably easier for a lot of other people that said, you know, Bailey at 2, then they start to have more fun with Reese on the board at 3. That's not an option for either of us. So that kind of changes this for us. Although it makes it easy for me with Tennessee at 4.
Starting point is 00:18:28 David Bailey is a Robert Salopass rusher man. I mean, all day. Now, the thing is, this was a, this, it wasn't a tough one, but you did have to go through the process of like, okay, this goes back to the local media I've done with the Jets and covering Robert Sala for a couple of years. When they took Soss, which surprised me, the process told to me was like Sala viewed him as now the Richard Sherman at the defense. I look at Sunny Stiles and I can see Sala being like, this is the Fred Warner of the defense. But at the end of the day, Sala, wherever he's gone, Jacksonville, Seattle, the Jets, back to the Niners. He always finds a day two, day three, or waiver wire linebacker turns them into an at least above average.
Starting point is 00:19:11 starter turn Quincy Williams into an all pro but the list is there's like eight guys that he's done this with where I'm like I can't I'm sure he loves sunny styles maybe he takes him but he knows his premium resource needs to be used on pass rusher David Bailey that's his engine of his front front for so from everything that I read and and sort of researched here they've done pretty extensive work on Arville Reese on David Bailey and then also Ruben Bain so I think that if any of Rville Reese or Ruben Bain sorry if Arville Reese or David David Bailey are on the board at number four. I like this logic for you to go with David Bailey. But for me, neither of them are on the board here. You could go Sonny Stiles, but I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:19:51 I think Robert Sala maybe understands that he could get more out of linebackers a little bit later. And specifically, there was no reported visit with Sony Stiles with the Tennessee Titans. There was with Jeremiah Love. And it's funny that I'm just going to flip-flop what you had. You went with Love at 3. I'm going to go love at 4. I'm going to take love at 4. even though I disagree with it because I would much rather them, you know, focus on the trenches before they get a running back. It does feel as though there's a lot of want towards the momentum of Cam Ward and making that offense better and all of that. So, yes, they have a defensive-minded head coach, but I think that there are defensive-minded head coaches that think, okay, yeah, go get the offensive player in the first round and then I can fix the defense and I can get, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:32 defensive gems a little bit later in the draft. So if they had met with Sunny Stiles extensively, I'd be like, okay, I kind of maybe think that he's the pick here, but I'm going to go with Jeremiah Love because they've done their research on it. They've had him in for a visit. I think that that interest is very real. Well, I said that there was going to be a fork in the road now for us, but I was wrong. Because after two picks, we're right back to the same four players gone. We're so back, baby. So back.
Starting point is 00:20:57 We are back. Number five, we are back. The Giants, man. It's so, I do this all the time. But you know when you're like, you're the, the guy just yelling one thing. I'm like, Jordan Tyson's going earlier than anyone thinks forever. And now I've finally reached the point where, and the Giants do love Jordan Tyson. They do. I think so too. I don't, I haven't convinced myself they're going to do it at five.
Starting point is 00:21:25 I don't think it's going to be at five either. I think it was a hope at 10. And I'm not as confident in that happening. And we'll get to that when it happens. But I think the fifth pick in the draft is going to be Caleb Downs. And, Wow. The reason for that is, number one, with John Harbaugh, just get it out of your mind, getting tied into a pretzel about positional value, right? Which could also be had a combo about Sunny Stiles, obviously here too. But I just think he looks at the safety position with the guy's versatile as downs and an identity guy like hip to hip. Like this is my first draft. This is John Harbaugh's pick. I want to admit, being here in New York, everybody knows this is not Joe Shane's
Starting point is 00:22:06 pick. This is John Harbaugh's pick. Oh, wait, I can say, I can say here in New York now. Yeah, Dammer. I heard those sirens behind you, by the way. Right. Yeah, I'm boots on the ground. I'm boots on the ground right here in New York. I'm figuring it out.
Starting point is 00:22:18 You are absolutely, you already feel it, that this is John Harbaugh's pick. Yeah, it's his pick. I think he wants an identity guy, a stabilizer that is Caleb Downs at five. I agree with you. I am taking Caleb Downs as well. Oh, okay. I thought you were going styles. Wow.
Starting point is 00:22:33 No, no, I'm going Caleb Downs. And the reason why is because, okay, so again, so again, I'm going back to, you know, top 30 selections, top 30 research, you know, how much it means for certain teams. John Harbaugh is new in there. And the Ravens, Eric DeCosta basically uses top 30 visits to smoke screens. Like the correlation of them drafting players versus, you know, who they have into top 30 visits or reported, you know, meetings for extensive time at the combine or whatever or private workouts. Like it never correlates with the Ravens. So maybe Harbaugh would bring that over. But I still think that, that even though I believe Harbaugh has final say on the roster and who's getting picked, especially for these early picks, I do still think the draft process was a Joe Shane draft process.
Starting point is 00:23:21 And when you look at their top 30 visits over the last couple of years, the Giants brought in Darius Alexander, Camp Scadaboo, Abdul Carter, Corey Black, Marcus Bow, all from top 30 visits last year. they drafted all of those guys. And if you go back the year before as well, Malik neighbors, Andrew Phillips, those guys were top 30 visits as well. The Giants have brought in Caleb Downs.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Actually, I don't think that it was a top 30 visit for him. I think it was a pro day visit, but let's face it. Everybody already knows who Caleb Downs is at this point. So then spending some extra time at the pro day still means something to me there. They, again, according to what I could find, did not meet with Sonny Stiles. And maybe they did. And again, I either missed it or it's unreported.
Starting point is 00:24:05 But I think it's much more likely exactly what you said. You take a player whose football IQ is through the roof and you start your first draft tenure with the Giants with that type of a player. So Caleb Downs, number five overall, New York Giants. All right, six. This is where I did write in, this to me is the most obvious entry point into the top 10 of the draft. I think the Browns will have offers.
Starting point is 00:24:33 I think they'll field offers. Oh, sure. Yes, yes, yes, yes. I didn't make a trade. I think they might get this player after trading anyway. I went with Monroe Freeling, the offensive tackle from Georgia. All right, we're different here because I went with Carnell Tate. I won't with Tate. I think it's because I think they're going to move and you think they might stick and pick.
Starting point is 00:24:59 I agree with you that this is maybe even, more so than the Cardinals, the most likely pick to get traded. Because the Cardinals are sitting up there at number three and they're probably going to want more of a hefty price to get up there, especially for those teams that we've heard want to trade up. You know, maybe the Rams, you know, the Chiefs, the Dallas Cowboys, right? Where getting to six is a little bit easier than getting to three. So I think this is very easily a spot where somebody could trade up. I ended up going with Carnell Tate because sort of the same thing.
Starting point is 00:25:32 A lot of the research brings me to the fact that I think, the Cleveland's going to take somebody that they've spent some extensive time with. Now, Freeling is one of those guys that they have spent extensive time with, but they also brought in Jordan Tyson and Carnell Tate for top 30 visits. They drafted Fanon Jr., Isaiah Bond, Mason Graham, Shador Sanders, all those guys were top 30 visits for them last year. So I think Andrew Berry operates from a, hey, like, let's really do our research on the guys that we want. So Tate's one of those players.
Starting point is 00:26:02 I think Freeling is as well. but I went with Tate here, knowing that they probably feel like they could get a good offensive lineman later at 24 as well. All right. Pick number seven. Another spot that I've heard could be an entry point, but I also heard that commanders would have to be kind of blown away because they think a really great player is going to make it to them here at seven.
Starting point is 00:26:24 And in my mock draft, they're right. That great player is Sunny Stiles. Sunny Stiles of the commanders, man. It just makes so much sense to me. they've added a lot of younger upgrades through free agency on defense, which is the right start. But this guy in the front seven is the total difference maker that Dan Quinn needs. I think that this is sunny styles as well.
Starting point is 00:26:46 By the way, Trevor and I, one combo today, one combo we had this morning, but we do not talk about really 98% of the mock draft. You and I, I'm either going to see you at the top, and it's going to be the, what's it, the Drusky and, Life like this, sure is sweet, huh? Yes, it's, it, on Thursday, actually on the show, on the 1 a.m. show tomorrow night, it's either going to be that meme or me and you are going to be just absolute zombies on that show. It's going to be one of the two.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Yeah, the cheers in hell, is it a movie. I think that it's sunny styles because, one, they brought them in for a top 30 visit. I think they like them a lot. think this is Dan Quinn's pick. And Dan Quinn, I believe, wants one of two players. I think it's Caleb Downs or Sonny Stiles. If both of them are on the board, I truly do not know who he picks. But with Caleb Downs gone, this is, I think, pretty easy for me.
Starting point is 00:27:49 I think that the commanders are going to take styles. At eight, I said it that I just don't think Jordan Tyson makes it to the Giants at 10 like they might hope. and that's because I think the Saints take them at 8. Now, I've heard there's a couple teams right outside the top 10 that will look into coming up into the top 10, probably for Jordan Tyson. I've heard those prices have been high, and of course they're high right now.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Because if you're asking, why would you not set the price high? You have all the way until the clock starts. So, of course, they're going to be high. So we might have some draft night trades on the clock, but Jordan Tyson to the Saints, at eight to pair with Chris Olive. And Tyler Shuck showed at the end of last year he's the real deal and they want to keep that rolling.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Yeah, I mean, I think that it could absolutely be Tyson. I think that it's Ruben Bain, Mansour Delane, Carnell Tate, Jordan Tyson. Like those are the four names that I think are going to go to the New Orleans Saints, especially if they're sticking here at number eight. And this is a team that when you look at a lot of their top 30 visits, again, the ones that are public that we can see that are reported on, there's not a big correlation with the people that they bring in and who they're picking with premium picks. Kelvin Banks Jr. didn't have a top 30 with him.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Vernon Broaden, Jonas Sanker, they were all drafted without any sort of top 30 visits. Fulanga, McKinstery, Spencer Rattler the year before, they didn't have top 30 visits. So this is a tough team to figure out. This is kind of anybody's guests, I think, between those four prospects that I mentioned. I'm going to go with Rubin Bain Jr. Okay. Because I do feel as though this team often operates under Mickey Loomis by taking the defensive or offensive linemen if they have those needs.
Starting point is 00:29:33 So I believe that this team probably thinks that, hey, we can get corner, we can get wide receiver a little bit later because how they have always operated has been Trench's first type of an organization. So I'm going to go Ruben Bain and get him off the board here at number eight. All right. That brings us to nine. I still have Ruben Bain on the board, but I'm going to go with Mansour Delane here.
Starting point is 00:29:54 And I've gone back and forth on those two players a lot for the chiefs where I'm, it's one of those like you don't you feel uneasy because you're like yeah could be this guy or could be the other guy but i really in this scenario kind of view it down to those two i think the chiefs would really really value the cover corner the man to man difference making kind of cover corner so i went with delane and bane continues to fall a little bit here so i could i could absolutely see that Something that I found with the Chiefs is Brett Veach has not drafted a first round prospect that he has not spent a top 30 visit on since at least 2022, which is where I think the information started to get a lot more like organized in public. Every year that they have had a first round pick since then, they have spent extensive time with that prospect. They have not spent extensive time with Jordan Tyson.
Starting point is 00:30:53 I still have Jordan Tyson on the board. I think he's an option here for the Chiefs. I think that they would think about him. I could absolutely see that. But they have spent extensive time with Monroe Freeling. And I know the Chiefs fans are probably going to yell at me about this. But no Rubin Bain, Carnell Tate is off the board. If they had done a top 30 visit and spent a lot of extra time with Tyson,
Starting point is 00:31:20 I think I might have had him as the pick here. But I'm actually going to go with Monroe Freeling. I think that offensive line is more of a concern in the building than fans might want to believe. So with them doing that extensive research on Freeling, that sort of leans into sort of what Brett Veach has done in the past. And any read have done in the past. So I'm going to go with Monroe Freeling here at number nine. Wow, there's the biggest surprise for me so far. Although, I mean, I had Freeland going six.
Starting point is 00:31:49 So it's not that he goes this early. Obviously, it's just that, you know, the chief's not going. defense is kind of the one that would that that would surprise me, but I think would just catch everybody off guard if they went tackle. But man, you sold it. Like, this is a team that needs to upgrade
Starting point is 00:32:06 that offensive line as well, which brings us back to the Giants. Wait, hold on. Kyle said something in the chat from the Locked on Dolphins account. Oh, I totally slipped my mind. That's obviously Kyle on that account. Yeah. We'll pull it back up. It was something about
Starting point is 00:32:22 the charity payment. It was. was it. Oh, here we go. He said, yeah, he said, hey guys, just want to let you know that I made my first monthly payment of my new mortgage. I mean charity match. Shout out to Kyle Crabs, man. Nonstop W emojis or hand clapping emojis for Kyle Krabs being a man of his word saying that he would match the charity donation that he went that he was going to make when he was on the seven round mock draft stream, which you guys.
Starting point is 00:32:56 I think that ended up being like $1,300 or something crazy. You guys are incredible. We don't expect that in any way at all. No, we don't. We're going to help Kyle with that, but we obviously very much appreciate that. All right, Giants, here's your second picket number 10. What do we got?
Starting point is 00:33:11 All right, so the Giants here, this might be the one that surprises some people. Although maybe this has picked up some buzz lately. I went Vanga Yawane here, Trev, at 10. Yeah, man, I thought about that too. I thought about it. this team is not good at guard right now. I think this guy will be a favorite for some people in the entire draft.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Like some people are just going to just love this player. Harbaugh walks out of this draft thinking he got two players at their positions that will be a part of his giants for the next eight years in Caleb Downs and Vanga, Yawane. It helps Jackson Dart. It helps the run game. these guys, their personalities, they're very intense personalities,
Starting point is 00:33:57 fit Harbaugh, and, you know, does a little bit of like walks to walk with him. I think he goes for two players that fit his personal identity. And that's why I went with Vanga at 10. Same mindset. I'm going to go with Spencer Fano.
Starting point is 00:34:15 And the reason why I'm going with Fano specifically is because I think they're targeting a splash pick at number five and then a trench pick there at number 10. And I'm picking Fano specifically sort of to go back to my logic about Caleb Downs. This team over the last two, three years, has heavily leaned towards the guys that they do a lot of extra research on. They had a top 30 visit with Spencer Fano. I can't remember if they did with Vigewanee. But I think Vega Yawane is on the table for them here at number 10.
Starting point is 00:34:42 It's just a matter of, hey, do they want to draft the guy that they know they're going to get as a steady, very solid, and even high ceiling, I would say, guard to make sure they give him his props. or do you want a player that maybe you're starting for guard early on and then when Jermaine Illuminor's contract is up, you're able to kick him out to right tackle. So I went with Fano because they had that top 30 visit with him, but I think I'm with you with the offensive line here on this second pick with the Giants.
Starting point is 00:35:07 I have to laugh at this from Dr. Smiz. Connor, I doubted you, but you're doing great. Thank you. I never doubted you, pal. Oh, man. I thought you were a bum, but you're mediocre. That's awesome. I love that.
Starting point is 00:35:27 I wonder what pick did that. Like, what pick did that? I think it had to be, you know. Maybe. Oh, going, going, going 10. Yeah, I think it was venga 10. That brings us to the Dolphins at 11. I finally got to get him off the board, man.
Starting point is 00:35:41 It's time for Ruben Bain to come off the board here. Oh, damn. For Miami, yeah. For Miami, it's kind of simple, right? collect the most high-end talent you can get. This roster is just being remade, and it's being remade from a different mindset in terms of, I think of Mike McDaniel
Starting point is 00:35:59 working with Chris Greer, a smaller, faster team. Now you get two guys from Green Bay, maybe a bigger, more physical team, all the power that Ruben Bain brings, and he falls through 11, and they capitalize. So I went with Mantua Delane here from Miami. We've talked about how desolate it feels like that cornerback room is for them.
Starting point is 00:36:21 They did a top 30 visit with them. Francis Malinoa, it was back and forth between those two guys. Like I genuinely don't know who they would pick. I went with the guy that they've done the top 30 on, but, you know, Francis Maui Noah is in their backyard, man. I mean, he plays in the same stadium. It's not low moving costs. It's no moving cost for Francis Malo Noah.
Starting point is 00:36:40 So I'm sure they know everything that they need to know about Maui Noah already. So the last three years of him being a Miami hurricane was, probably the top 30 visit for them. So Mansoor Delane, Frances Malinoa, one of those two guys, I ended up going with Elaine here, getting him off the board. Weish chiming in Delane and Storm Duck, modern day Revis and Carmardi. That's right. Hey, shout out to Weish.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Make sure you guys go over to Wege's channel and check out the co-lab episode that we did with them where we went through a new mock draft and he put those guys onto those teams and Madden so go check that out and go subscribe to his channel as well. Leon just said how this is fallen is why the Cowboys are considering moving up. Yeah, it's you could see where there's a different kind of break in the draft. Now, maybe my pick will surprise some people, but I think they're the team that would snatch up Carnell Tate if he fell to this spot here for me. Oh, sure, sure, sure, sure.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Obviously they were pretty vocal today about everything going on with Pickens. Holy cow, man. Yeah, and that's like not even. They're going to trade him. That is not posturing. At least how I have not only listened to it, but how I've heard it. We're in April and you're definitively saying, nope, no contract extension talks, we're done. You're playing on the tag this year.
Starting point is 00:38:06 That's nuts to me. That's crazy for you to do that in April. Yeah. I'm sure some people are watching this thinking I'm an absolute lunatic. tick going a receiver for the Cowboys. All I could say is there is real chatter about this right now with Dallas, especially with two picks in the top 20, how they view their team versus maybe how everyone else views the team on the outside
Starting point is 00:38:32 and everything that's going on with pickings. So I'm just going to take the talent and go with Cornell Tate. Look, brother, you have Cornell Tate on the board. I have Jordan Tyson. There you go. I'm taking Jordan Tyson. There you go. I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:38:46 I'm with you. I heard that press conference from today, and I was like, holy cow, they basically only have C.D. Lamb now. I mean, Pickens is probably going to be pissed that that's the point where this team is at. He has not even signed the franchise tag yet. There's no guarantee that he does. You could have a holdout from him. I mean, the Cowboys are trying to win this year. And I think that there might be some reluctance from the Cowboys to have so much of their salary cap tied up into two receivers.
Starting point is 00:39:15 and I think that there's some hesitancy from them to do that as well. So, yeah, I mean, I'm spooked by that press conference. I'm taking Jordan Tyson. And I think that if we talk about the Cowboys trading up, specifically you mentioned number six of the Cleveland Browns. I think if they're trading up to six, I think that's a Tyson spot. Oof, man. Right?
Starting point is 00:39:35 Yeah, that would be big time. I mean, you're getting in front of the commanders, but more importantly, you're getting in front of the Saints and you're getting in front of the Chiefs. So, and you're getting in front of the Giants. Number 10, if you think that's a direction that they're going to go. So I'm going Jordan Tyson there for the Dallas Cowboys. The Rams of 13, I wrote in my written version of this. This is a total call your shot pick.
Starting point is 00:39:58 And I wrote in parentheses, feel free to call me an idiot if it's a miss. At some point, you got to do somewhere you try to think outside the box and go a little bit. You got to get Carson Beck off the board. At some point, Carson Beck cannot sit in the green room any longer. Get him out on the stage. You almost called it the war room It would feel like the war room For Carson Beck
Starting point is 00:40:18 If he was going back in round one I went with a guy that I think The NFL likes more Than the outside world Draft media, fans, whatever you want to call it We know that the Rams need a receiver That's obvious This is a hotbed for Mackay Lemon
Starting point is 00:40:37 Uh huh I went with Denzel Boston And Whoa I just look at his size, the ball skills, and how much they demand perimeter blocking. Demand it. And I think the league likes Denzel Boston more than the consensus ranking
Starting point is 00:41:00 that has him in more in the 20s. And I think Sean McVeigh will just go with whoever he's not going to lean into consensus or general thought. He's going to take who he thinks fits his offense best. And if they can't move for one of the top two big dogs, I think Boston's in play. Like I said, you call me an idiot. I'm fine.
Starting point is 00:41:19 I got to laugh at myself, but this is one of my call your shot picks. People wanted to get away from us to be in shock. You got your wish. No, go back. You like the button? There's somebody's the button meme. He's not built for this.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Yeah. Who let bro cook? Look, I actually do think the Dentel Boston is, Rams type of receiver. I am not totally against you with how you're getting there with this logic. I'm going with Mikai Lemon. I'm getting little stitches off the board. Now I'm having him go out to L.A.
Starting point is 00:41:50 So I'm going with the receiver route. And we're kind of picking the receivers for short of the same reasons, right? These guys, they can block. Obviously, Denzo Boston's bigger when it comes to the blocking profile. But Mikhail Lemon's such a feisty blocker in the slot. And sometimes it's a Z on the outside. They're both very competitive at the catch point. It just kind of is, yeah, what's the compliment to what they have?
Starting point is 00:42:10 there. So I can see you, I could see you talking yourself into Denzel Boston because I do agree with you. I think he's a better player than what outside media and fans believe. I think people look at Denzel Boston and they just go up, no, big, slow, can't separate. And I just, I've never really thought of Denzel Boston that way. I think he's a first round talent. I don't think he'll go 13, obviously, but you predicting him here at 13 to the Rams. I think we're both on the train that there's a reason why Devante Adams is on the trade block. And it's because they think they can do better at wide receiver. So that's why I've got him going wide receiver as well.
Starting point is 00:42:46 And the thing about the Rams too, it's a total wild card. It is a total guess. Their top 30 visits do not matter. They barely use any of them. This is a team that everything they do is close to the vest. Vibes drafting. I mean, they are basically vibes drafted. Now the vibes have never been higher with Sean McVeigh and Lendez.
Starting point is 00:43:10 need, but they are in fact vibes drafting, it feels like. So you got Denzel Boston, salute to you. I love it. I love it. Jansen, NYU. Well, the Conradowners are vindicated. Yeah, there's a lot of haters out there and the haters were correct. I'm cooked. I've absolutely not it. Hey, but here's the thing. If Denzel Boston somehow, some way goes to the Los Angeles Rams, that's two or three points that you're getting that nobody else is getting, my friend. So that's what it's all about. That's the goal. So how you become the champ. Yeah. Or the absolute fool. But we will see. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:48 This is one of those ones where like if I'm right, I'm a savant. And if they don't do this, it never happened. So just delete this from the internet, Tyler. This is my trap. Never happened. All right. 14 Baltimore. I'm not going to lie. I had the absolute urge to continue my Kenyon Sadiq agenda here. But I I got control of myself and went with the sliding Francis Maui Noah because Wow. Wow. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:17 We're the same. Yeah. It just, I mean, if he's here, how do they not? How do they not? No, that's where I'm at because we always see Vega Yawane as the pick here for the Ravens. But one, you have Yawane already off the board here at this point. I have Yawane on the board, but I still have Francis Maui Noah on the board.
Starting point is 00:44:35 And sure, I think there's a world where they could take Yowna. over Maui Noah. But I just didn't do it here in this mock. I think that if Maui Noah is there, you've got somebody who could be flexible to play guard or tackle for you. He plays that power profile and he's got that size that the Ravens have coveted over the years. So yeah, I'm matching you here.
Starting point is 00:44:56 I'm going Francis Maui Noah to the Ravens of 14. All right, 15. Your buckaroos. You kick us off here, Chief. So this is where I have a trade happening. Oh, there it is. This is my little trade. I think Jason Light really, really, really wants to move back.
Starting point is 00:45:13 I think that they are pretty desperate to move back here. I'm going to have the Pittsburgh Steelers moving up with the Buccaneers. Tyler, I think we actually had like a, the computer offered a trade that would have been close. Is AI on to you? AI might be on to me. They might be learning. Are we cooked? Is the human race cooked?
Starting point is 00:45:34 Yeah, because you're picking up 76. Yeah. Tyler, Tyler, I kind of think that this is what it would be. You're getting one of the three third round picks that the Pittsburgh Steelers have. Tampa gets to move back. They get a little bit more flexibility with who they pick in the first round, and they get an extra third round pick, which I think Jason Light really wants. So, and the whole reason why I think the Steelers would trade up at this point is because
Starting point is 00:45:58 Vega Yawane is on the board. And I think that this team is either drafting an offensive lineman or a wide receiver. I feel as though, well, they did a ton of work on defensive linemen last year. They brought in so many different defensive linemen. And one of them was Derek Harmon who they ended up picking. They did a ton of work on the offensive line the year before when they picked Troy Faltonu and Zach Frazier. And they brought both of those guys in for a visit as well. So the Steelers definitely gravitate towards those positions.
Starting point is 00:46:32 They've done a lot of work on wide receiver. they've done a lot of work on offensive line and they've brought in Yawane for that top 30 visit. If they've got the opportunity to get a regressive and go get him, I think that they're going to, whether it's with Tampa or with another team. So if Vegas slides at all, I think they're a team that you could look to move up because they've got those extra third round picks. So let's have the Steelers straight up to 15.
Starting point is 00:46:53 I'll give them Vega Yawane and then Tampa moves back down to 21. That fit makes so much sense. Despite the fact the chat is the regular accusations are they're out. Yeah, keep him coming. Yeah, keep him coming, baby. Keep him coming, baby. Riggler move. I'm pumping up, I'm pumping up the crowd. It's so great because on Happy Hour, we call Barry the Excusler. He always has an excuse when he loses in fantasy. So he literally, the chat just goes, excuseler, excuseler. I mean, yeah, of course, it's never, it's never his fault. Now I do my other
Starting point is 00:47:26 show with the Riggler. Just an incredible assortment of nicknames. Oh man, that's the good stuff. Okay, so for this one, I went super chalk. I thought about Sadiq again. The two spots I like for Sadiq in the top 20 were Baltimore and Tampa. I agree, like totally agree. They make so much sense for a team to move out because you have Detroit sitting there and everybody knows what they want to do. So why not take some calls? But I went with your boy, Keem Messador, man. Yeah, baby. You think of where this org is at in turn. terms of past rusher, what Messador brings to the table the second he walks in the facility. He's a three-down player.
Starting point is 00:48:09 I don't think they're going to care about his age. Messador, if they don't move out of this pick, he just, you've made this pick a few times during our draft season. And I agree. If they're in 15, I think they're a Messador team. And I think, you know, there's a chance I make it one more time. I mean, you guys got to stick around to see if maybe I do make the bucket of Messer pick one more time.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Yeah, I mean, the regular might. strike again. You'll have to stick around to find out. By the way, guys, we've got 4,000 people watching this live right now. We appreciate you guys so much. Thank you for rocking with us, not just tonight, but all the way through draft season. I'm going to try to pump one of those out for you guys for that day two mock draft for rounds two and round three. And then of course we're going to have draft grades
Starting point is 00:49:47 on Sunday as well. So make sure you're subscribed to the channel. Come hang out with us. Be a part of the addicts. And we're going to have a good time this weekend. Before we get to actually, are we on pick 16? I think we are on pick 16. Oh my God. It's true. Oh no, what happened? Dude, have you seen this? I had to just go check this
Starting point is 00:50:07 while you're going through that. I just lost it in the chat. Somebody in the chat, here we go. Nicholas, nope, not that, nope. There it is. Okay, Nicholas said, did you see that Kate and McDonald made a TikTok with Bleacher Report where he said they call him McPounder?
Starting point is 00:50:22 So I googled Kate and McDonald TikTok. The search came up. There's a Bleacher Report TikTok where they have all the prospects, and it's their government name versus their nickname. I don't have the sound on, because we're doing a live stream right now, but the caption literally has Caden there with a microphone,
Starting point is 00:50:38 and it says McPounder. Have we finally arrived? There's a Drake meme after Toronto wins the championship, where Drake goes, look around. Everybody, look around you. This didn't exist before us. This is only possible because of us. I want all of you to realize that,
Starting point is 00:51:00 your influence and power on this podcast has quite literally infiltrated the prospects themselves. This is how. Unbelievable. This is unbelievable. There's no way, man. Hold on. Let me see if I can play the sound on. Oh, my God, he did.
Starting point is 00:51:23 Tyler can, hold on, Tyler can play the sound. Tyler said he could play the sound. I can't believe that. They call me K-Mack, Big Mac, McPounder. Which one do you like the best? Matt. That's a good one. That's unbelievable. What a moment.
Starting point is 00:51:40 What a world. What a world. He's leaning into it. NFLSEs taken over, baby. Man. I, I, I was wrong. I was wrong for having him 49. Yeah, it's, it's time to finally adjust the ranks. Yeah, I was wrong. You were wrong for having him 14. I know, I should have him one. I'm a coward. Yeah, no, that's unbelievable. So I think Caden McPounder might have to be in the,
Starting point is 00:52:03 inaugural NFLSC Hall fame when we do the ring of honor. After this showing, unbelievable. That's like Alfred Collins referencing that he's still on the board. Literally, it's the equivalent of that. That's crazy. I don't really know how to continue from here.
Starting point is 00:52:19 Well, we're going to continue here with number 16 with the New York Jets. Here we go, brother. This is another chalk one like Messador. If I go two for two with you on the Jets, you are. I think you are. We talk too much. we spend too much time together.
Starting point is 00:52:34 I went Omar Cooper. Yeah, baby. So did I. I mean, come on now. The Jets, they need a wide receiver. They're all over the receivers, especially at 16 or in a trade. They like Omar Cooper a lot.
Starting point is 00:52:48 The fact they can play inside and outside and manufactured touches really make the most of yard after catch opportunities. This is, if the Jets don't move and they might, this one is just, it feels kind of easy, honestly. I'm with you. And this is peak, Omar Cooper Jr. range. I think anywhere from 13th overall, because like I would think about Omar Cooper
Starting point is 00:53:10 Jr. potentially for the Rams at 13. I would say anywhere from 13th overall to 19th overall with the Carolina Panthers, that's like the Omar Cooper Jr. zone, you know, if we're, if we're giving out that designation for the draft. Wow, we got over 230 entries on this one. In the NFLSEE pool.
Starting point is 00:54:36 All right. Go ahead. Read it off. Let's get in. Yep. So we had obviously Mendoza go number one, Reese go number two. We had Jeremiah Love go three, David Bailey, four. Caleb Downs go fifth.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Monroe Freeling sixth. Sunny Stiles goes seventh. Yep. I'm going to give the chef a little time on that one. Sunny Stiles at seven. He's cooking. He's cooking. He's got the chef. He's got the chef. He's got Tyson of the Saints.
Starting point is 00:55:10 He's a hibachi chef right now. He's flipping the shrimp tails just straight into the hat. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everybody loves the egg. The fire volcano. One of my Mansour Delane chef at nine. And then Vanga Yimani had said one of my favorite memes is the guy uninterested in the egg. The guy sitting there not moved at all. It's so good. It's so good. Just miserable. We've all been to like a habachi.
Starting point is 00:55:40 How can you be miserable with habachi? I've been tired at habachi before. Not every other time I've had a great time and I lean into like, you know, they like, yo white boy and spray sake and like, you know, it's like, yeah, it's the same thing at everyone. But there was one time I- Cooper DeShine in a pickle game. Dillot Dian, Taki. Riley boss Oh man
Starting point is 00:56:06 But it's just like One time though I do remember I was not really like Just in the in the mood You just had to go And it's like okay I've seen this trick once before Like show me something new
Starting point is 00:56:17 Oh man I'm just trying to picture you And not a good mood It's unbelievable I wasn't in a bad mood I was just neutral It sounds like you were in a bad mood I was kind of just like
Starting point is 00:56:31 Alright let's bring out the beef Hey, I'm low on my protein today. Why don't you just stack me up, big man? I'm not entertaining. I'm not here to entertain. I'm just here to eat. Anyways, if you guys think that you can do better in the mock draft, prove it.
Starting point is 00:56:47 Download people. Really blew that, Edd. No, what are you talking about? No, we're keeping it going. Down the pickpull app now. It'll be more fun than Habachi, apparently. Join the NFLOC contest for your chance to compete directly with us and win some cash prizes.

If you're looking for a bigger challenge, you could also check out the NFLSC 32 pick contest, which you can put in an entire first round mock.
Starting point is 00:57:18 Pickpool, the pick is your win. All right, 17. Let's get back to the mock. All right, let's get back to it. Another one where I went. Let's get back to the mock, white boy. Yeah. Am I the only one?
Starting point is 00:57:30 Somebody was like, what a Banchi play? This is just Connor go do. I've been to a ton of them where that's what they do. Every customer. It's like their go-to line. Am I crazy? What world am I living in? Anyways, Caden Proctor at 17.
Starting point is 00:57:47 Oh, boy. We gotta get to the grass, man. I'm gonna miss this class a lot. I really am. I would love... Listen, I'll tip $500 if they go, Eli Hydenrick next time. I'm sitting there and they straight with the soccer.
Starting point is 00:58:08 $500 tip. That was a good pull. Good pull. Okay. Kayne Proctor at 17. So you're believing that the lions are all in on Caleb Proctor. I mean, I'm buying it. It's the kind of player they like.
Starting point is 00:58:21 Their identity often is their offensive line. They want to be bigger and stronger than everyone else. You know, once again, am I leaning too much into all the chatter on this one? But I've believed this for a while. So, yeah, I'm going with it. I am going to go with a different offensive linemen here. And I'm going to lean, you know, into sort of what I was kind of talking about before, just researching a lot of, like, prospect visits.
Starting point is 00:58:46 And to be honest with you, the lions are one that I think about a lot because I called the Thai League Williams pick for them last year. And that was late in the draft. That was like pick 28. And it's really hard to nail teams and prospects that late in the draft because you just never know who's going to be available. but I remember specifically that they were doing a lot of work on defensive tackles, and Ty Leake Williams is one of those guys who I thought was going to be available right in that range. So they had that pairing there. Terran Arnold, Ennis Raykstra, Sioni Vaki, all three of those guys, top 30 visits for this team as well.
Starting point is 00:59:19 I think that they utilize those top 30 visits with guys that they are really interested in. Caleb Lomu was a top 30 visit for them. And I'm actually going to take Caleb Lomu here at number 17. I feel like Lomu's range is all over the place, but I do feel, feel as though there's a chance with all of the visits that he has taken that the middle of the first round or around this range could make sense for them. So the Lions are absolutely a team that they will draft who they think is the best football player.
Starting point is 00:59:46 They don't really care. And with them visiting with Lomu, I think that he's a legit possibility for them. So yeah, I'm going Lomu with 17. He's a guy that I don't know what to do with in mock drafts because I could see a team falling in love with him with his athletic gifts and how he moves in his lower half. And then he's so green that I don't know if he'll go in the first round. So I really struggled. But I like that you are, you know, taking a stand on this one and think this is where he can go
Starting point is 01:00:19 and that they've had everybody fooled because that would be nice work by them. And, you know, that's off in the goal when you're picking at 17. Mashing somebody, you know, jumps them for Proctor. And it's like, no, we didn't want Proctor at all. We wanted Lomu or someone like that. Right, right. I think the hype with Proctor is interesting. Not that I don't think it could be true,
Starting point is 01:00:36 because I'm with you that this is a possibility here. But I wonder if there's, I just wonder if it's smokescreen there from them. But we'll see. Number 18, I got to imagine that we have the same player here at number 18. Yeah, I mean, listen, there's going to be chalk picks, man. And some of them will be wrong, but some of them are chalk for a reason.
Starting point is 01:00:54 I'm going with Dylan Thineman here. Dude, the chat is way, too low on Dylan Deen. Yeah, I don't know. Just way too low on Thinaman. Some people also get tired of, some people are tired of Proctor at 17. I get it.
Starting point is 01:01:10 I totally get it. But no, Dylan Thineman on the back end of this defense for Brian Flores, flying around and making plays, come on now. I did think about Caden McDonald here. Me too. I thought about it. I just,
Starting point is 01:01:25 I just don't know. if he's going this high or if he's going to get in the first round at all. I'm just not, I'm not convinced. Would love for him too for the pod, obviously in NFL as he Hall of Fame. Yeah. Yeah. I think if McDonald's going to go earlier than people expect, this makes a ton of sense. But I didn't want to overthink it, I guess, is kind of how I looked at it.
Starting point is 01:01:51 And ended up just going with Inamon. Yep. I think he's their perfect player too. I really do. They brought him in. for a top 30 visit. And specifically, I think this too about the Vikings. They've done a lot of work on late round running backs and day two defensive backs, but also day two defensive linemen, for example. So they took Ty Felton, Terry and Mingraub Dawkins, Donovan Jackson, all those guys were top 30 visits.
Starting point is 01:02:15 They took those guys last year. They took Dallas Turner, JJ McCarthy, Kyrie Jackson from 2024, top 30 visits. So I think that they're sort of building out a draft strategy here that is going to feature defensive line and running backs later in the. the draft. And I think that if the team is here at 18, they take him. All right, 19. I got to get him off the board. Mackay Lemon is still there for me. He goes to the Panthers at 19. You got Tedaroa McMillan playing on the perimeter. You got obviously Lemon on the inside. They still have poker and legate there. Pretty well-rounded group of pass catchers for Bryce Young. I know pass catcher will be a popular
Starting point is 01:02:53 slot here. Lemon's the best one on the board for me right now. And he goes 19. I'm going to go with Casey Concepcion. They have done extensive work with Casey Concepcion. Obviously, it was at NC State before he was at Texas A&M. And specifically, I think they've done a lot of work on tight ends, offensive linemen, and defensive linemen, specifically interior guys, that can be had on day two and day three. I think that means that they're going for Playmaker at number 19.
Starting point is 01:03:25 and with a lot of those wide receivers off the board already, I'm going to go with Casey Concepcion, but I think that he would be a priority pick for them as well. And I'm going with him, even over Kenyon, Sadiq, who is still on the board for me. 20, the Cowboys, I went Colton Hood out of Tennessee. I think they need a corner. I think Hood is highly valued in this draft.
Starting point is 01:03:48 And with McCoy's knee, I think Hood has a good chance to go over him. So Colton Hood to doubt. Dallas, good man cover corner, physical. I think, once again, teams really, really like him. I think it would be a surprise to some people if you said before the year, like, hey, Colton Hood's going to end up going over McCoy. But I think he played his way into that,
Starting point is 01:04:09 and McCoy's health is the big factor. I'm going to go with Germant McCoy. I just think he's the better player. Yeah, he is. He is the better player. I don't know where Germant McCoy goes. I really don't. But I think that Dallas,
Starting point is 01:04:25 would want somebody in the secondary if they're drafted and if they're trying to get, you know, Jordan Tyson or Colonel Tate. And I feel as though Dallas would be one of those teams that goes, hey, we walk away in the first round with Jordan Tyson and Jerome McCoy. I think they'd do it. So I'm going to go with Charmonde McCoy here at number 20. All right, 21, the Steelers. Spencer Fano is still on the board here.
Starting point is 01:04:48 I had the same thinking as you, Trill. Oh, yeah. Okay. I had the same exact thinking as you. Obviously go offensive line for this team. I don't know if Fano makes it here, but the way I had the board falling, he did. And I like the Steelers taking the best offensive linemen available. And I think that they've met with Fano.
Starting point is 01:05:05 And so I think that Fano is right in their wheelhouse, whether it's at 21. If you don't think that he lasts until 21, you've got a chance to still get this team prospect pairing, right? Because I think they could trade up for Spencer Fano if he falls. So I think this is a, I think it's a good target by you. I'm going to Messador at 21. So this is sort of the same thing where you picked him at 15. I got Tampa trading down a little bit, and I think this is still within range for Messador. I think some other teams to maybe look out for, you know, I think that there's been some talk about them with Mile Kai Lawrence as well from UCF,
Starting point is 01:05:36 you know, Jacob Rodriguez, I think kind of comes into the fold here. Maybe Kenyon Sadiq as well, although I've talked about my hesitancy of believing that Jason Light would draft another tight end that's just a little bit more of a projection, sort of the way that Kenyon Sadiq is like OJ Howard was. but Messador is immediately the best pass rusher on this team. So I think Tampa absolutely needs that. And a lot of Tampa's top 30 visits, a lot of their extensive visits with prospects, have been guys that are much more day two players,
Starting point is 01:06:06 I would say, than options for them at 15. I think they're honing in on the guys that they like there. And I think Messador is at the top of that list. That brings us to the Chargers, which is a tough break for them, because Bencer Fano is a borderline dream player to me for the Chargers. He's not there. I go with our guy, man.
Starting point is 01:06:24 I do think Caden McDonald's is going in the first round. I do. And in this scenario, I have him go to the Chargers to give them. You know, I know they've made some moves on their front that are kind of bridge moves right now when you look at specifically Dalvin Tomlinson. But he's a guy that you may be roster for a year. And he gives you a solid year. But Caden McDonald is just a force in the middle of the field for you for a while.
Starting point is 01:06:49 and I think he's the type of player that this staff would really, really like if the board broke this way. Definitely a need for them. I could see them going that direction. The Chargers are tough. They're not really a team that gives a lot of way when it comes to the prospects that they spend time with. A lot of the guys that, okay, sure, they either met with them at their pro day or top 30 visits. It's like later in the draft type of stuff. I mean, I think Tarheep still or Campbell.
Starting point is 01:07:19 heart, like those guys were top 30 visits, but those are later round picks for them. I'm going to go with Malachi Lawrence. I think Malachi Lawrence is a first round pick. I think that the Chargers with their first two picks in the first round and then in the second round are looking at pass rusher and then offensive linemen. The way that things are breaking right now, yes, they could go interior offensive line. But I think that they might be watching how the board is falling and saying, hey, if they love Lawrence, which they had him in for a good visit,
Starting point is 01:07:49 And if they go with Lawrence there as the speed rusher, they feel like they might be able to get interior offensive line in the second round. So I feel as though Lawrence is going to be a first round pick tomorrow night. So I wanted to get him in somewhere. And I do think that it fits for the Chargers need. So I'll go Lawrence here at 22. But this one's more of a mystery than the others. 23, the Eagles, I think they just have to kind of continue.
Starting point is 01:08:13 They got to restock offensive line with the way this board breaks for them. And I went Maxi Hanacher. This is somebody that could develop. He's a great athlete. I think they'll believe in his athleticism and traits and also understand that they can slowly develop him behind Lane Johnson for this offensive line. Kenyon Sadiq's still on the board, so I'm going to go to Sadiq here.
Starting point is 01:08:37 It was between Sadiq and Maxi Annature, one of those two guys. I think that Philly's going to be really in on both of them. But with the tight end room being as, up in the air long term as it is for Philly. And especially with AJ Brown's impending trade, we feel. This is a way where they can get ahead of the tight end need, get somebody with the crazy ceiling athletically, and then even continue to add to the wide receiver room later.
Starting point is 01:09:03 So if Sadiq's on the board for them at 23, or maybe even it's in range for the Eagles to trade up, I think they'd be very interested in him. Sadiq would be a lot of fun in Philly. That would be a spot that I think you feel really good about Sadiq's development and usage. I like that landing spot a lot. 24 Cleveland.
Starting point is 01:09:20 You have him off the board already. This is where I went with Casey Concepcion. I've kind of settled into that Concepcion is going to find his way into the first round. I was on the fence for a while, especially after the minor. It sounds like a knee cleanup, which doesn't seem like a big deal or hasn't moved him at all. You know, he's somebody that can separate. They need somebody for Todd Monk's offense that they view as someone they can run it through. And the Browns went tackle at the top.
Starting point is 01:09:46 so now they have to address wide receiver here. I'll go offensive line because I went with the receiver at 6. I went with the carnal tape. And like I mentioned when we talked at number 6, Andrew Barry, a lot of times he is drafting off of those players that he brings in for top 30 visits. Caden Proctor was brought in for a top 30 visit. Caleb Lomu was as well, by the way.
Starting point is 01:10:09 But Proctor has that physical profile of somebody who matches that downhill run game, that power run game that I think Todd Monkin is leaning towards. I sometimes see people, you know, mocking more of the zone blocking scheme offensive linemen to the Cleveland Browns. And where the player could or the position could be correct for the need, I don't think the scheme fit is there. I think that it is for Caden Proctor.
Starting point is 01:10:37 So if they, you know, interviewed him and everything went great for the top 30 visit, I think his power profile makes a lot of sense for how this team added to their offensive line already. So I'll go Caden Proctor at 24. Chicago, I went with the big, rugged, edge setter Zion Young. I think he fits schematically what they like. There's no Caden McDonald's, which kind of puts D-Tackle in a weird place. I don't like Peter Woods for this team.
Starting point is 01:11:02 I'll be fascinated to see if they agree or disagree with that. I love Z. This is definitely more of a, oh, like a me pick. I'm predicting, but man, I love this fit and thinks it makes it the bears bigger and stronger and tougher up front to stop the run. not give a lot up as a rushing team either, past rushing team. I've got Zion in the first round, but I don't have him here to Chicago. I'm going to take, even though Dana Jeremiah has said as of late that he feels like
Starting point is 01:11:30 Emmanuel McNeill Warren is going to go in the second round, Jeremiah has said like, hey, he's a top 15 player for me, so I love him. Just what I've heard is, you know, maybe some teams aren't as hot on him. I'm going to have him come off the board here. I'm going to go Emmanuel McNeil Warren for these Chicago Bears. I just keep going back to the fact that this team created a ton of turnovers in the secondary last year, and they lost their entire safety room, and this is a player who created a lot of turnovers over the last two years for Toledo. The Bears, especially last year, I mean, they're a complete wild card.
Starting point is 01:12:02 They did not have private meetings with Colson Loveland, Luther Burden, Ozzie Tripillo, Shemar Turner, like none of those dudes. So they are very much a keep it close to the best type of a team with Ben Johnson. head coach. And so 25 could be anybody, but I'll have it be Emmanuel McNeill Warren. 26 for the bills went right back to a power rusher man and T.J. Parker. I think Jim Leonard needs more talent up front, even after signing Bradley Chubb. I think T.J. Parker fits that mold. He's got the go-to long arm. I think he still brings that strength against the run. He was the Clemson guy, I felt like this year where the more I dove in and he did the senior bowl and he was good at the senior bowl during that week. I'm like, Parker didn't change
Starting point is 01:12:44 that much as a player. Yes, he was more productive in 2024, but he's still a solid edge prospect that should be a first round pick. I went with Christian Miller. I got Christian Miller off the board here. And the reason why I did is back to the top 30 visit stuff. Because the Buffalo Bills have, in the last two draft specifically, Keon Coleman, extensive time
Starting point is 01:13:13 with Keon Coleman. Um, Maxwell Harrison, the same thing. They met with a ton of cornerbacks. They drafted a cornerback that they had in and Maxwell Harrison. When it was Keon Coleman's year, they met with a ton of wide receivers as well. They've met with a bunch of day two linebackers, which makes me think, okay, they're probably comfortable waiting for linebacker, but they did meet with Miller specifically. And from everything that I have heard about Christian Miller, if you did a top 30 visit with him or you spent some time with them,
Starting point is 01:13:44 you're probably going to love the kid. It happened to me. You'll love the tape as well. You know what I'm saying? So I think that the bills, there's a chance that he's a pick there, especially with a lot of the wide receivers off the board, because they have sat down and they have spent some extra time with him, and I'm going to go Christian Miller there to Buffalo.
Starting point is 01:13:59 They need that nose tackle type of a player. I would really like this pick for Buffalo. I think it would be a really, really strong pick. Shout to the chef, man. The side-by-side mock has been super smooth. Oh, it's beautiful. It's beautiful. Stick to the model.
Starting point is 01:14:12 Amazing. All right, 49ers at 27. always a pretty tricky team to nail the pick here. I just went with the guy that shouldn't fall further, and that's Kenyon Sadiq. I would imagine the Niners would like a Hanachor, one of the really talented tackles. They're going to get healthy on the edge.
Starting point is 01:14:33 I view it, like their edge rushers are coming back, so that helps a little bit where I don't know if you have to go that road here. George Kittle coming off the injury, Sadiq and Shanahan's offense. This is one where, like, I just can't have Sadiq fall any further, man. And I would love this fit for Sadiq. I'm going to have Denzel Boston come off the board here.
Starting point is 01:14:53 14 picks after you had them coming off the board. But a first rounder nonetheless, I don't think it's, I don't think it's, I don't think they're going to view it as repetitive with Mike Evans. I think they're just going to see the need to get more receiving talent in there, because Kittle is going to miss most of the year. Evans, okay, it's essentially a one-year deal with him. and you get Denzel Boston to learn with Mike Evans. Maybe it is only a one-year deal,
Starting point is 01:15:18 but you've got some insurance after that. Who knows exactly what George Kittles going to be like as a receiver when he comes back from the Achilles' injury. So I do think that wide receivers on the board for them. I know a lot of people like to go Casey Concepcion, but with Boston here, I think they'd be very happy about this one as well. Houston at 28, we've done this pick a couple times. I'm just, if he's going to go in the first round,
Starting point is 01:15:39 this is the place for me. That's Peter Woods from Clemson. Okay. D'Amico's scheme. let him shoot gaps, disrupt all that talent around him, get him back to being the player he was in 2024, which was at times dominant. And they had him stand up on the edge.
Starting point is 01:15:53 They had him rush from the nose. They did everything with Peter Woods that year. If he's going to go in the first round, I think Houston would be the team that could buy into him because they know how to get the most out of these kinds of players. For Houston, I really did not know who to pick here. but I think Blake Miller's going in the first round. And so I'm going to have Blake Miller come off the board here.
Starting point is 01:16:18 I mean, Braden Smith signs a two-year deal for them, but Blake Miller could be the long-term right-tackle option for you. Started 54 games at Clemson at right-tackle. You could even let the first year be a redshirt year and basically say like, hey, we're going to have him get a little bit stronger. Maybe he could play a little guard for you. He's got long arms, so he might be able to do it. It didn't play guard when he was at Clemson, I believe.
Starting point is 01:16:39 but I think just the talent overall, Blake Miller is going to get in the first round, and Houston could be just throwing a lot of resources at the offensive line. I don't think Braden Smith's the long-term answer for them. I think Blake Miller could be. I think he's going in the first round, too, and you don't have to wait much longer for that selection. But for the Chiefs at 29, you had Malachi Lawrence come off the border already, didn't you? I did, yeah. Yeah, I'm with you that he's a first round.
Starting point is 01:17:01 Chargers. I'll have them go to the Chiefs at 29 because I had them take to Lane earlier. So pass-rush corner combo feels like it makes sense for the Chiefs. Chiefs. Maybe a wide receiver could be in there, but for me, Lawrence is the upside pass rusher. Like his pass rush tools are tantalizing. He's got athleticism. He wins in a lot of different ways. Yes, he's not a perfect player down by down because of the run defense. But for the Chiefs, I think they need to swing big on a pure pass rusher first across from Carloptus. So I don't have them taking a defensive lineman in the first round. I think they very easily could.
Starting point is 01:17:39 but I have them going with Chris Johnson, the corner from San Diego State here at number 29, because I think that Steve Spagnolo would love him. And so if they're sitting here considering corner, you know, with Mansour Delane or whoever it is, like a little bit higher in this draft, you know, we've seen Colton Hood in this spot. I think that their preferred corner of choice
Starting point is 01:18:01 at the back end of the first round is actually going to be Chris Johnson. They've had a top 30 visit with him. They even had another virtual visit as well. So they've spent a ton of time. with Chris Johnson, the way he defends the run, how he tackles, his instincts in off coverage. I think Steve Spagnolo is really going to emphasize players who have high football IQ. So you're fixing the offensive line at the top and then you're getting a corner that I think that this team's really, really going to like how he plays the game and Chris Johnson at 29.
Starting point is 01:18:29 He's the guy that didn't make my first round that I might regret. Where it's, you know, because you obviously the scoring. It feels like there's so much hype for him right now. the scoring and predictive format we do. You're also just trying to predict who the 32 players are going to be. And I was like, I didn't find the place for him. But if he goes in the first round, I'm like, yeah, you idiot. Like, of course he snuck in.
Starting point is 01:18:50 30 goes back to a guy you just talked about. Blake Miller goes to the dolphins at 30. The dolphins, they're one of the hardest and one of the easiest teams to mock for. Because there's not a lot of picks that you can make where people would be like, you're a fool. Like, that makes zero sense. But it also opens up the entire range of players for them. So since I had Ruben Bain fall to them at 11, now they look to get better on offensive at offensive line.
Starting point is 01:19:14 And they get Blake Miller, you know, once again, a guy that brings a little bit of an edge in the run game that I think this regime will like. I'm sticking with O line, but I'm doing Chase Bissant this year. Had a top 30 visit with him. I think that they really want to emphasize the offensive line. I struggled to even pick the lane at number 11 because of how much I think they're going to emphasize the offensive line. But I think there's going to be a lot of really good options for. them specifically at that guard spot. Basantis is somebody who actually started his career at Texas A&M at tackle before
Starting point is 01:19:44 kicking inside a guard. He's got those longer arms to him. So this is a very versatile tackle guard prospect. And he doesn't get talked about a lot as that. He talks and gets talked about as that pure guard. But I really do think that he could play tackle in a pinch for you as well. So Basantis at 30, I think he's the perfect player for the chiefs. All right.
Starting point is 01:20:02 31, the Patriots. This is a player that I think he's going to go in the first. round. I don't have him there, but this is a landing spot that it makes some sense, and that's Keldrick Falk. He's big. He's got length. He's got alignment versatility, which I think they would like. He's strong against the run. I think teams will try to tap into the tools. I feel like Keldrick Falk is going to go in the first round, and this is a home at the end of round one that does make some sense, assuming New England makes this pick. Somebody in the chat was saying, isn't Basant's whole thing that he has shorter arms?
Starting point is 01:20:39 I mean, it's shorter arms for a tackle, but it's still 33 and 3 4th inch arms. That's 35th percentile for an offensive tackle, which is fine. You can live with that. But it's, I believe, 68th percentile. Yeah, for arm length for a guard. So he's, yeah, he's got long arms for a guard.
Starting point is 01:20:58 So no, definitely I wouldn't say short arms for him. For the New England Patriots, I kind of think that this is going to be, a defensive lineman edge rusher. There you go. Okay. Because Will Campbell, Josh Farmer, Kyle Williams, all top 30 visits for them last year. Zion Young, R. Mason Thomas, Gabe Akis, Malachi Lawrence, have all been top 30 visits for them this year. I'm going to go with Zion Young.
Starting point is 01:21:25 I think he is the attitude and strength type of a player. Sort of the same reasons why you would be drafting a Keldrick Falk, but you had Zion Young off the board before this. That's the problem. John Young, I think, just gives you a little bit more juice in his first step as a pass rusher, where he's also pretty tenacious against the run. So, yeah, I'll have Zion Young come off the board here to the Patriots. Yeah, with New England, I've really liked Malachi Lawrence to them, but I just don't know if he gets there. That was the issue, because I do agree with some people in the chat saying, like, they need the most pure pass rusher they can get.
Starting point is 01:21:56 And I don't know if Cassius Howl is going to go in the first round. Maybe he will, and that would surprise me a little, but I just, I don't know, man. I just didn't see it. And that led to my last pick where Cassius Howl could have been in play. But I think he's going to go in the first round, and that's Jamad McCoy. And I know there's all kinds of, you know, you had him in the first round. I know there's a lot of discussion right now of, hey, you know, is the injury going to kick him out of the first round?
Starting point is 01:22:24 I think he's too good. I think him being able to work out at his pro day really, really helped. And Seattle, man, if they get a healthy Germant McCoy this year, that is absolutely nuts in that secondary. I think they can afford that kind of risk-reward situation. By the way, really quickly, somebody is shouting out in the chat that Chase Bissontas's arm length is wrong.
Starting point is 01:22:48 Yeah, I was a little quick. When you said that, I was like, really? Wow. Yeah. So on mock draftable, I was reading his mock draftable numbers, and at the combine, yeah, he had 31 and 3 fourth-inch arm. So then it is. He's basically a guard-only type. of a player. Although he, again, like, I think he did spend some time to tackle for Texas A&M.
Starting point is 01:23:08 Yeah, his first year, I think he started a right tackle. Less of an ideal NFL swing tackle, but I still think that that sentiment is there, even without the longer arms. But hey, that's good on the chat for correcting me there. Okay, I lied. I am going to have one more trade in here because I don't think Seattle's picking a 32. I think, I mean, they got to try to get out of it. Schneider basically set it. Five picks? Yeah, where they have five picks, four picks, whatever it is. So who's coming in here?
Starting point is 01:23:35 I'm excited to see this. I'll go with, I'll go with the rare in division trade. Let's get the Arizona Cardinals back up here because I do think that they are a team that is going to be looking to get into the first round. So whether it's, whether it's here at number 32 or maybe a little bit higher,
Starting point is 01:23:52 I like the idea of predicting the Arizona Cardinals moving up from 34 to 32. I don't know what they're giving up. It's, it's minuscule. You're moving. Yeah, it doesn't matter. Yeah, fifth round pick, fourth round pick. It doesn't really matter. You'd be able to get this deal done.
Starting point is 01:24:07 Maybe you're paying a little bit extra because, again, it's an indivision thing. But the Cardinals get to move up and they get to draft Maxionature, who I get in the first round here, who I think is going to be a first round type of player. I love the swerve. For what? I think everybody thought it was going to be for Ty Simpson. And I love the swerve. No, no.
Starting point is 01:24:24 No. And I mean, like, it could be for Ty Simpson, but I'm more confident that Maxionature is a first round player than Ty Simpson is a first round player. You and I are unified. I do not think Ty Simpson is going in the first round. And I'll say this. The only two teams ever connected to him are the Jets and the Cardinals. And if you gave me, okay, Trev, I want to ask you something.
Starting point is 01:24:48 Jets Cardinals are the field for Ty Simpson. I'm actually taking the field today. I'm taking the Cardinals, but it's, but I don't know if it's it. Like, that's the whole part of the Ty Simpson conversation that's very difficult. Everybody goes like, oh, yeah, he'll go around one. He'll go around one. Oh, yeah, the Cardinals trade up and run one. Why?
Starting point is 01:25:13 Who are they bidding against? That's what I don't. Dude, number one. He's like, 34, they should do exactly what you just did. Get a great player for the roster at 34. Right. Or they will still have the option to get Ty Simpson later if they want to. Yes.
Starting point is 01:25:29 So that's why I agree. Like I, for earlier this week, I did a couple of segments where they're like, hey, is he going first round? And I was like, yeah, I think he goes first round. But the more I thought about it, I agree with you. I just, I don't think the Cardinals are going to have to bid against anybody. Because it doesn't sound like anybody else is interested. The Dolphins aren't going to draft him.
Starting point is 01:25:49 He was like plus 3,500 to get drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. I don't think the Jets, I've heard nothing about the Jets being seriously interested in them. No, they've hit it well if they like him. If the Jets like them, they hit it well. It's just the Cardinals. It's just the Cardinals. I love our guy, H.D. Rubin, saying, ultimate Shreve move on draft night eve.
