Trevor, I hope you know you are contractually obligated to do a Bucks fixer franchise.
If we get embarrassed by Kirk Cousins on primetime for the second year in a row, I think that's fair.
If, if, if Tampa loses an embarrassing fashion to the Falcons, we're doing fixture franchise for the box.
You got to f***er enough.
You got a fucking care enough.
Got a fucking mean something to you.
It's more than a job.
It's your fucking livelihood.
It was in the excusable.
And there's no answer for it.
Looking for it.
Welcome to the opening bell
on the NFL stock exchange podcast, or should I say the NFL
freaking podcast, to quote my head coach Todd Bowles there,
crashing out, making the prophecy true as we are now here to fix the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
because they lost an embarrassing fashion to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night football.
Connor, everybody knows how the heck I'm doing.
How the heck are you doing, my friend?
Oh, I'm gravy, man, just gravy.
Excited, sadly excited that we get to do this.
I'm not, you know, it was not rooting for your downfall in that.
But man, seeing a Todd Bowell, a version of Todd Bowles like that,
what they call it a harvest moon?
I don't know what to call it.
You've seen it.
You know what it's like?
You've experienced that.
Usually just kind of stands there and blinks.
But that was as emotional as the man gets.
I loved it.
Yeah, I mean, he crashed out before you guys are going to see me crash out.
And look, you know, you said that you weren't rooting for it.
I know some addicts of the show are, we're rooting for it because they wanted to see me crash out here on this show.
But anybody who might be new to Fixer Franchise, if this is your first Fixer Franchise episode that you are watching, what we do is we take a deep dive into these teams.
We look at everything.
We look at the front office.
We look at draft history.
We look at the head coach, maybe some potential GM or head coaching options if we feel that they're going to move on from them.
We take a look at the roster, project the roster moving forward, have a free agency strategy, and then we end the show with a three-round mock draft here.
I guess this is a season of first, Connor, because not too long ago, we did the Cleveland Browns as a first team on the fixture franchise series that we've been doing here for three years.
and this will be the first year that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also the subject here for Fix Your Franchise.
I'm kind of excited.
I can see it.
This is going to be very therapeutic for me.
I'm going to get a lot of stuff off of my chest here on this show.
So I am actually very eager to dig into what this Tampa Bay Buccaneers team could be a year from now.
You're looking extra Tyler Shuck-esque today, by the way.
I don't know what it is.
You're looking very at you're looking very Shuck-esque.
All right, that's where I'm drawing the line.
You got the line.
That's from drawn the line here.
They're calling him Tyler Shuckama in the comment.
Which is really, really good.
Speaking of which, you want to get to some super chats before we dive into your Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
Well, hold on.
Yes, I do want to get to the super chats because we've got a bunch already that I want to hit right at the top of the show.
Before we do that, though, huge shout out to everybody who's in here for the live show because they got the notification from the Discord channel.
Oh, I love that.
a week ago. We already have over 2,000 people in the NFLSE Discord.
Guys, it's been so much fun going back and forth with you guys after the show is on there.
The conversations that y'all have had, naming the random athletes already.
And what I love about the NFLSE Discord is the specific team channels.
It's been so much fun to go back and forth.
I've talked with so many of you about some early team needs, some offseason strategies for a lot of these teams.
It's a lot of fun if you guys aren't in the NFLSY Discord.
the link to join the Discord is in the description here of the show.
We'll also fire it off, fire it off on all of our social media channels as well.
So come hang out.
The ad ex are having a lot of fun in there.
We are as well.
And then on top of that, guys, we are less than 400?
No, we're right at 4.
We're almost 400 people, 400 subscribers away from 50,000 here on this channel.
That is an insane milestone, one that I didn't even think about.
And when our producer pointed it out to me that we were so close to 50,000, man,
it's just such a cool, just such a cool feeling.
If you guys aren't subscribed to the channel, we would love for you guys to be.
We appreciate anybody who watches, takes in this content, interacts with us.
We'll keep making more for you guys.
If you guys keep subscribing, you keep watching the video.
So we appreciate everybody who has subscribed to the channel already,
and we appreciate everybody for subscribing to the channel moving forward.
I appreciate you guys.
I second all of that.
Man, look at that.
You love to see the number grow.
It's been really cool.
It's cool everybody's kind of been very open to the changing format for us.
We've gone live.
We love the chat, which has been, we have so much fun interacting with that.
So let's keep it rolling, man.
Let's see where this thing gets for the NFL draft this year.
Bork is saying my 49,999 alt accounts are coming through.
Let's go.
Get all those bad boys.
sign up, and we get to 100K tomorrow.
We'll take all of them.
We'll take all of them.
All right.
Let's do the super chats that we got here in the before the show chat lobby, because just
so you guys know, we start this at 4.30 p.m. Eastern time, but the addicts like to get in here
a little bit early.
So we open up the show.
We open up the chat 15 minutes early and we got some early super chats here from you guys.
So we're going to read those off before we dive in to the Buccaneers.
Connor, you can kick us off here.
All right. Patrick Howie, thank you.
Are we really expected to be able to survive the rest of this cold?
old season when Santa Claus is literally kind of a game.
Wait, is Phil, is Philip River Santa Claus or is that just the time of the year reference?
I think it's a nice mashup between the two.
I don't think, I don't think you have to survive the rest of the cold season.
I think it's over, if I might politely add.
Damn.
They gave it a good, like, you press the mystery box button, a 44-year-old Phil Rivers.
He gave you all he had, but I almost did it.
He almost did it.
He almost did it.
But it's just some bad luck down the stretch here with injuries for them.
Gabriel with a $5 super chat.
What is Peter of the month in Discord?
And why am I it?
Why am I it?
Actually, having a Peter of the month in the Discord is actually a really great way for Peter
to be involved with the Discord that we have.
So we might actually be stealing that one there.
What do you do to be Peter of the month?
You're just the richest person in the Discord.
I don't know Peter's going to have to decide, I think.
Oh, that's fair.
Just have Peter.
So Peter can decide who is the Peter of the month.
Okay.
I'm in on that.
Or in the NFLLISD discord.
Also, pimping the bucks chies before the Bengals is criminal.
Look, I get it.
I had to be a man of my word.
Okay.
Yeah.
If the bucks didn't lose an embarrassing fashion, like we talked about on the Wednesday show,
we would be sitting here before you all and before God fixing the Cincinnati Bengals.
But instead, we're doing that for the Buccaneers.
People could say a lot of things about you,
but they can never deny you being a man of your word.
Thank you.
I don't know how true that is,
but I hope that it's as true is what you just said.
You said, if we lose the Kirk Cousins on Thursday and football,
we will give the bucks.
And here we are on Monday at 4.30.
We started on time.
Chat.
Chat.
We weren't late.
And here we are.
All right.
This one from Find a Cure.
Thank you for the Super Chat.
Had either of you got an eyes on Yukon lineback.
Biron Parham, a little undersized, 511, 223,
but his play at middle linebacker is the only thing salvageable on that D.
I haven't watched the Yukon defense yet.
I've watched a lot of their offense.
I also have not watched the play.
So, no, I haven't seen Byron Parham with full transparency.
And I love when you guys ask about, like, you know, players like this,
especially it's probably your team.
My process this time of year, obviously Trevor and I have watched the top underclassmen
because that goes back to summer scouting.
and I know you're kind of in line with this, too, Trevor.
Right now, I'm trying to watch as many guys that, one,
for whatever position we're about to do.
But after that, guys that accepted senior ball invites
because I know they're in the draft.
Because they're in the class, right?
The trick is when you're a one-man scouting department,
it's just you against time.
That's really it.
It's you against time.
So what you do is, and I've made this mistake many years before this.
I try to watch all these names, and then it's like, cool, 50 guys went back to
school that was kind of not a waste of time that was me dude two years ago i think it was two years ago
i had final scout well you know final that i'm doing in december and january so like full
scouting reports is probably the better terminology there for it i had full scouting reports
on 87 players who went back to school oh my god and i was like dude that's an insane waste of
my time yep that is that's a lot of not lost time
because you have those reports forever and you could build on them.
But now Parham I'm seeing as a redshirt senior.
So obviously that wouldn't be a problem, which is good transfer from Washington.
So a good shout that we could add to the list.
Thank you, find a cure.
Jeff, $10 super chap.
So my God, I can't wait for this one.
As a fan for nearly 30 years, I can honestly say that this team has some of the most mistakes
and execution errors from any team that's made the playoffs over the last year and a year out.
It is funny because there is very much a world where if Tampa wins against Carolina,
this upcoming week in Carolina
could very well make the playoffs
whether they're going to be like whether they're going to be
nine and eight or eight and nine if they just beat
the Panthers this upcoming Sunday could
absolutely be in the playoffs but I think
this is a broken team right now. I think
this is a broken team. I think the
relationship within the team is very fractured
and I think major changes need to be made
and so again I
this episode is therapeutic for me
amongst many things and I couldn't be a liar
after saying it on the Wednesday show. This team
absolutely could be a playoff team but I do think
there are fundamental issues here with this team that have to be fixed.
Your point is that no matter if this team somehow squeaks into the playoffs,
they need to be, yeah, fundamentally fixed.
They're not a factor in the playoffs.
This will be if they make the playoffs,
let's say they make the playoffs at eight and nine,
because it absolutely could happen.
That will have been the second time in four seasons
that they will have made the playoffs with a below 500 record.
And one of the other times they made the playoffs,
they will have finished eight and nine.
So,
now I know why the Saints go all in every year.
If you're in this division,
you always got a shot.
You always got a shot.
Yes.
All right.
The next one, Tony Lee.
Shout out to our guy.
Thank you for the super chat.
How's it going, guys?
My condolences, Trevor on the buck season.
Where could you see Sorsby,
Ryola, and Lagway transfer?
where would be the best fit for them.
Is fix your franchise for the bucks after Thursday Night Football,
not enough for you, Tony?
Is that not enough for you for me to be in a coffin?
Now you're digging up the coffin,
taking the coffin,
going up to the biggest cliff that you could find,
and pushing it straight over with the lagway comment?
You're not mad about this.
No, I'm not really mad about this.
I think that Florida and Lagway both needed to go their separate way.
Rialo is obviously going to Texas A&M because of the Patchma Holmes cosplay.
I don't know where so.
You mean Texas Tech?
Yeah, what did I say?
Texas A&M, which Marcel Reed hopefully isn't going anywhere.
No, he's not.
I think Sorsby could be a Miami candidate because they're going to need a quarterback with Carson.
That makes a lot of sense.
Also, I like that Sorsby.
back, by the way. I thought he was a little far away right now. I do too. And then I also think
that honestly, Lagway at LSU with Lane, I think makes a lot of sense because of Lane's
vertical offense. Like, that's when Lagway is at his best. And I think his skill set actually
works really well for Lane Kiff. And so I could see him having a lot of success if he goes to LSU.
Wiscoe, thank you for the Super Chat. Can I get a Pimp the Chies episode for Green Bay since Parsons
went down. Unrelated, do you fellas know about donating ACLs?
The Packers are still favored to win one of the most competitive divisions in football.
So, unfortunately, yeah, it's basically pick between them in Chicago, but I did see at one point
today they were minus 110 while Chicago was plus 110. So it's almost pick. Wow. But we don't,
we don't pimp the chies when you have as many wins as they do, despite the gut punch that is
the Micah injury. What a crappy Sunday for injuries.
Terrible, dude. Mahomes tearing his ACL.
So, Mike Parsons, Taryn's ACL.
And to be honest, like, that wasn't it for the Packers, right?
I mean, like, Christian Watson, I think he's going to miss time, but it sounded like it wasn't
like a broken collarbone, so that's good.
Jack Tom, his knee injury.
I mean, that's, it couldn't have been worse for the Packers, honestly, losing that
game and then losing who you lost for those players.
That's, that's tough.
Stomach 18, $5 Super Chat, appreciate you.
Trevor, rank your top five barbecue sides in order.
Also, the next time that you're in Durham, go to quote, the real Qshack, straightfire, hashtag three sides minimum, hashtag Drake May.
Okay, I will write that one down.
Top five barbecue sides in order.
A mac and cheese is the most staple.
I think that's what I go with at number one.
Is that because of the floor?
Mac and cheese has such a floor, right?
And it's just like I like the carb, I like the cheesiness, the carb of the pasta to go along with the copious amounts of meats that you eat with barbecue.
So mac and cheese number one for me.
I think barbecue baked beans is number two
because it's the one that I get the next most.
I look, always,
I always have some controversy with this one.
I do.
Coleslaw is next for me.
I'm a coleslaw guy.
I like the crunch.
I really do.
I like the crunch.
I like the texture in there.
Collar greens is next.
And then,
you know,
I'm not normally a big potato salad guy,
but I feel like barbecue places do potato salad pretty well.
I would agree.
Yeah.
I'm going to look at potato salad.
there. So that's the top five. That's the top five here.
I like it. We'll read this one from DeSauder and then we'll get into the bucks.
All right. DeSauder. Ahoy, Chumps. What's your favorite prospect skill set to watch when elite,
such as linebackers thumping, wide receiver contested catching, route running, quarterback
zip and so on. Fun question. It's a very fun question. I like this.
I know mine right off the dome. Go ahead. Running back contact balance.
Oh, yeah.
yeah that is a fun one it's very like therapeutic to watch somebody just stay on their feet
despite being teed off on yeah i mean i'm a kyle monong guy so you are a kyle monong guy
there you go um i think edge rusher bend might be my number one oh that's oh that's pretty
you know like if you have this i'm kind of cheating here because it's two but like
The Twitch and Bend combination, you could be watching some moves on tape,
and they could just, you can just watch it over and over and over again.
Or you could like, sometimes I'm home by myself.
Like, it's just me and my dog.
And I'll watch a play.
And I'll literally, like, audibly.
I'll just be like, whew!
And they're like, it's just me.
It's no me around.
And you look at him.
Like, you saw that, right?
Yeah.
And then I'm like, Marvel, get over here.
And then I pick him up and he takes to look at it.
And then, you know, he's like, dad.
And he barks at the mouth.
Oh, man.
That's always how it ends.
That's always how it ends.
You are correct.
But I think those are probably the two traits that would gravitate towards the most.
All right.
One dig into this?
I think it's time, my friend.
This is for you.
This is for what does Buck's Nation call themselves?
Well, for a long time, it was Buck's Nation.
Okay.
I guess that's why that was the one off the top of my head.
But the team has started to say,
say the crew.
The crew.
I have seen that on Twitter.
Yeah.
No.
So I think,
I think officially they call themselves the crew.
But I've always,
I've always since like the early Twitter days,
just said Bucks Nation.
Yeah, I think that's.
Anyways, this is how we got here.
Apologies, everybody, first and foremost,
because I'm feeling a little under the weather.
So you're going to hear me with the sniffles.
You're doing great.
You're fighting through.
We're powering through.
This team makes me sick.
What can I say?
They literally made you sick.
The last four years that the Bucking years.
The Jets have built my immune system up until you've ever seen, no one's ever seen a human like me.
The doctors don't know what to do with you.
They've tried to infect him with everything.
But you've seen so many shitty Jets games.
At this point they're trying to.
At this point, they're trying to clone you.
Indestructible.
Can't be hurt.
Okay.
So for the last four years, these last.
last four years of Todd Bowles being the head coach.
And a little bit about how a background of just how we got here.
We won't go totally into Todd Bulls.
This is full background.
But he was the defensive coordinator for this team when they won a Super Bowl
when Bruce Ariens was the head coach.
And Ariens loves Todd Bulls, big fan of Todd Bowles.
That's why he obviously had him on his staff.
And he, I think, could see some foreshadowing here and didn't necessarily want Todd if he was
going to take over because it felt like he was going to be the next guy to take over for Bruce
Ariens who was getting up there in age. He wanted to give Todd Bowles another, like at least one year
of Tom Brady while Tom Brady was there. And so Bruce Aaron stepped aside, I think probably like a
year early before people thought that he was going to because it felt like Brady and Arians were
sort of married together in their timelines and their 10 years. But when Brady was coming back and
he was going to play another year, Aryan said, okay, well, I'm actually going to step aside. I'm going
to give the reins of Todd so he can have at least one year with Tom Brady because this was going
to be what they wanted to do anyways with him being the head coach in waiting and then obviously
he could build the team in his own identity after brady and so he did that get that one year they
made the playoffs eight and nine um the following year when brady was gone nine and eight i think
they made that was the year that they made the uh oh man how far did they get in that year was that the year
they got to they faced the lions anyways made the playoffs
10 and 7 the next year, obviously made the playoffs, lost in the wildcard round to the Washington commanders last year to Jaden Daniels.
And then this year, they're sitting here at 7 and 7.
They absolutely have a chance to win the division once again.
They have a chance to make the playoffs.
But, Connor, it's just how they have been as of late.
After a red hot start where Baker Mayfield was an MVP type of candidate where this team looked like they were world beaters,
it looked like they were not only going to win the NFC South pretty easily, but also truly contented at the top for the.
NFC conference, it has been a steep decline for them since, I would say, week six in the season.
And so this, it's something where after a really red hot start, I think a lot of the issues of this team are starting to pop up.
And we get a lot of frustration from what we saw on Thursday Night Football as they collapsed once again and lost the Atlanta Falcons.
They were up 28 to 14, the fourth quarter of that game.
They end up losing the game 29 to 28.
And they end up losing it because they give up a third and 28 and then they give up a fourth and
14. They give up 14 yards back to back.
And as if that wasn't bad enough, they end up giving up another pass to get the
Falcons into field goal range. And after the game, you see the players sort of going at each
other. You see them being very frustrated. You see Todd Bowles, you know, throwing the players
under the bus in a way where I don't, you know, I don't necessarily think he's completely wrong.
Right. Todd is saying like, hey, at this point in the season, we're not teaching anybody anything
new. You just need to go out and do it. And so I don't think that he's wrong in that regard.
but at the same time, for your emotions to sort of boil over,
that sort of tells you where this team is and how frustrated they are.
And now it doesn't feel like they're kind of coming together.
It feels like they're at each other's throats a little bit.
And that's the type of culture that I think it's really dangerous to keep around.
And ultimately why I don't think Todd Bull is going to survive this season unless Tampa looks unbelievable over the next three games,
wins a playoff game.
They'll give them another year after this.
but I just I don't see all of that happening.
And in fact, I see a broken team that is not playing very good football
and hasn't for the majority of the year.
It's a tricky one, right?
Because you look at this graphic and you're like,
we're talking about the coach being fired.
When you look at some of the other graphics we've done of coaches
where it's like, God, this guy could barely win any games.
Of course he's fired.
But I agree with you, it feels deeper than that.
It feels like one, they've had a lot of pieces on this roster.
to, I like Todd Bulls a lot, but man, his, I like him in terms of what he brings from a defensive
mindset, but his in-game decision-making in terms of how conservative he could be drives me,
it drove me crazy with the Jets, and it drives me crazy with the Bucks a lot.
And it feels like this team has a higher ceiling that they've failed to tap into lately,
and that might inspire change.
possibly. I mean, like you said, though, the door is still open for them to make the
playoffs and that could change some things. But at some point, you do need to evaluate
yourselves and go, what does this look like? And how did we get into the playoffs versus
an NFC right now, man? It's loaded. I mean, loaded. When you look at the lions on the
outside looking in right now, that tells you how loaded this thing is. And there's a little
bit with the bucks where I misinterpreted this or maybe just
I just didn't analyze it.
I didn't see the future the right way
or didn't see how it project the right way.
They were winning with game-ending drives
at an alarming rate to this time of the season.
But in the moment,
you don't really think about it like that
because it's so thrilling.
In the moment, I'm like,
I'm like, man, this buck's team,
when they're down with three minutes left
and Baker's getting the ball,
they know they're going to win.
And I kept, you know,
qualifying that as this positive attribute.
And often it is.
but now we've kind of seen how thin the margin for error was
and they've had a lot of injuries too
where it's like oh actually it feels like you know
the flip a coin games have now gone the other way for them
at an alarming rate and that's what's kind of tough to stomach too yeah
I mean it's it's a little bit like the chiefs right what were the chiefs in one
score games last year what was it like they never lost something yeah I think it was
12 and no and then they couldn't win one this year and then they couldn't win one this year
It's just that you're, when you play with fire like that, you are bound to get burned.
This team started six and two on the season before they got to their week nine by week.
And since their by week, they have won one game.
And it was against the Arizona Cardinals in which they could have very well lost that game.
They're one in five since the by week in week nine.
And, you know, it's funny, incredulous in the chats like, this team can make the playoffs.
What are you doing here?
Fix them.
But then you get to the point where you take a step back and you go, hold on, this is the weakest division in football.
by a wide margin.
And Konda has been for a couple of years here.
And yes, Tampa's winning the division, but barely.
And I think that when you look at this year,
they were playing at a level that was unsustainable
at the beginning of the season.
And now that insustainability has, you know,
come to the forefront of now what we are seeing from the results.
If you look at some of the offensive defensive grades,
they're actually running the ball decently well.
And this is the full season that we have here.
but they're 25th overall in offensive grade as a total.
They're okay on the offensive line,
but when it comes like EPA per play,
they're just 26 in that regard.
Now, this is also worth saying,
three years ago, who was the offense coordinator?
Is Dave Canales?
Last year, who was the offense coordinator?
It was Liam Cohen.
This year, who's the offense coordinator,
it's Josh Garzard.
Like, they have a different offense coordinator every single year.
So it's hard to build and have continuity
when your offense coordinator
just keep getting poached for head coaches.
And then when you look at the defense's side of things, the defense is fine, but you have
those moments where things really fall apart for them.
You see the EPA per play allowed numbers, 15th in the NFL per past, 17th per rush,
it's ninth.
So, I mean, like, they're not too bad when it comes to overall EPA per play numbers or
PFF grades, and that's why the record is what it is with them at 7 and 7.
But I think to your point, the team is on a major.
skid and unfortunately this has happened for them in each of the last two seasons as well
where they've gotten to the middle part of the season and they have just had these losing
streets that they can't get out of and then they kind of finish the year a little bit better
maybe win a game in the playoffs but maybe not and I think that's what's been saving this team
is they've been able to point to the fact that they've been NFC South champions for the last
was it four years five years in a row and so they keep winning the division they keep getting
in the playoffs but to me that this is just this is just they're not a good football team
and I think that they need to look in the mirror and think about where they could really improve,
even if it's some tough decisions.
And I think that over the last three games, obviously, that'll go a long way into saying,
you know, what this team will be next year.
But this is, I think if you have a get out of jail free card for Todd Bowles,
for this coaching staff to running back one more year, Connor, I think this next slide about
the buck's injuries is the one that you lean on the most i was just going to ask you how much grace
did they get because of the forget the volume of injuries which is insane but the high impact
player injuries across the board what we have here on the screen are starters or impact players
that have all missed time for the buccaneers this season evans missed 10 games handstring godwin
eight games leg injury collid jacancy played two games torn peck he's been on i r cody mock played
two games, knee injury, on IR.
These are all starters for this team.
Jala McMillan, missed 13 games of the neck injury.
Luke Geddike, missed six games of the foot injury.
Bucky Irving, seven games of foot injury.
Tristan Worst has missed three games with the knee injury.
Hassan Reddick, missed four games with an ankle injury.
Benjamin Morrison, who is going to be in the cornerback rotation and is right now,
four games with the hamstring injury.
Ben Breddison is starting interior offensive lineman for them, missed three games.
Now he is on IR.
Jamel Deans missed two games of the hip injury.
Zion McCollum missed one game before this.
game. Now he's missing the next four because he got put on IR. So he is out with a hip
injury. David Walker, who they drafted in the fourth round from central Arkansas, who was that
stud pass rusher. Yeah. They absolutely thought he was going to be a part of their pass rush rotation.
Of course. Didn't play a single snap because he got hurt. He had a knee injury in training camp.
He's been IR on IR. And Baker Mayfield, he's missed zero games. But ever since, what was it,
the Rams game, he's been playing with a very hurt shoulder.
And we'll get to Mayfield stats in a second, but I've talked about this over the last couple of weeks.
They don't have enough to overcome these injuries.
And that is a legitimate, I don't even want to use the word excuse, reason for why the record is what it is,
and why the team is playing the way that it is with the results that they've had as of late.
However, that doesn't excuse the team sort of turning on itself.
that's where you get me when it comes to change at head coach,
the coaching staff, that kind of thing.
Because you can sit here and say the injuries ruined what could have been a better season.
And I think you are totally justified given that list of what I just told you
of how many key players they have missed throughout the year.
That is 100% a reason why they are where they are.
But the problem is you can't have a coach going on.
Now, I know that I don't mean to be like, oh, you know, you get mad at
when he doesn't show emotion
and then you get mad at him when he does.
There's a little bit of a difference here
because he crashed out at the podium.
He's using the F word
eight times in a 60 second span
when describing his team.
And he said that's the exact same thing
that I told them when they were in the locker room.
And a guy that's not like that publicly.
And look, man,
I'd be just as mad as he is.
But you've got the team turning on each other.
You've got players pissed off at other plays.
players. That's why I think that we're here to fix this franchise. Because that's what you can't
have. Why would you go into next season with just running it all back the same? When the results
have been good for you, but certainly underperforming this season, you already had sort of a
little bit of a maybe decision to make with like Liam Cohen, you know, last year.
All right. That's just sort of where I'm at with this team is I wanted to mention the
because it's important it's how they got here but it's so much more about uh it just feels
like this team sort of at each other's throats here and the worst part about it is
nobody really seems to have answers right Todd Bowles didn't have answers in the post game
podium session it didn't seem like because he said this is the exact same thing i told the players
okay well that's not really giving them any answers you're basically saying hey you got to
play better. And again, he's not wrong. Yeah.
But that's not really
an answer to how the guys are feeling
and how they're playing.
Every single interview that I saw
afterwards, whether it was Tristan
Worf's, whether it was
Emeka, Buka, like whoever it was
when the media went up to these guys after this game,
he's like, well, what are you guys thinking right now? They're all
at a loss. They're all at a complete
loss for words. Mike Evans
was losing his mind on the sideline.
And that's why
that I think,
change has to be made.
I'm with you, and obviously you know this team as well as anyone.
I just think that I don't know if we could, you know, use the word stale,
but there are things that you can evaluate in a vacuum with this team from a coaching aspect
away from the injuries, right?
That's the problem, is that, and yes, there are other things,
the fact that they have to change OC every year
because they're picking such high profile
offensive coordinators, they're getting jobs.
But it just feels like once again,
there's a limited ceiling
with this coaching staff here
that kind of makes you go,
maybe it is time,
it's better to be ahead of it,
then you go down another year
and you spend a lot of money
and draft capital on this roster
and you've been disappointed with the results.
There has to be a mindset of,
okay, just winning this division and appearing in the playoffs
isn't good enough for us anymore.
Because I sit here and I think Jason Lights
a really good GM. I do too.
We're going to get to the draft history in a second.
So if I think Jason Light's a good GM
and this roster has a lot of talent
despite it, you know, missing players at various points
of the season, well then what's the one
button we can press with a limited
amount of buttons we can press?
And it's probably the coaching staff.
Yeah, I just think the ceiling is.
Highly desirable job.
I think that the Buccaneers have hit their ceiling with Bowles.
And I also think that that combined with the reaction to what happened in the collapse on Thursday
is what makes me move on.
Can you do worse than Todd Bowles at head coach?
Yes.
Of course.
Yes, you absolutely can't.
Yes. But, you know, not that this is the same situation,
but Tampa's already done this once in their franchise where they had Tony
Dungey and they realized that they had reached their ceiling with Tony Dungey
and they made the change and they got John Gruden and they won a Super Bowl with it.
Now, again, I'm not calling this situation exactly like that situation.
But I think to your point, when you look beyond the record,
when you look beyond just the wins and losses,
when you look at how we got here and what we are as a football team,
are you achieving what you think you can achieve in the situations that you have?
Are you reacting the sort of the way that you need to?
Are you the team that you want to be in one score games when things aren't going well for you?
All that kinds of stuff.
And I think that's where this current Bucks regime is lacking in why I would make changes.
Now, let's get into Baker Mayfield before we get to the draft history really quick.
Mayfield is not going anywhere.
He's going to be the quarterback of this team next year.
He has to play better.
There's no way around it.
Mayfield was an MVP caliber type of quarterback
through the first six weeks of the season.
Weeks 1 through 6, 65.5 passing grade.
89.3 rushing grade.
He had 10 first downs on the ground.
He had 11 force miss tackles.
He had a 7.0 big time throw percentage
and just a 3.7 turnover-worthy play percentage.
Above 73% adjusted completion percentage,
Only 11 sacks taken.
Mayfield was awesome in the first six weeks.
From week seven to week 15, he has dropped to a 54.8 passing grade.
He has a 3.3 big time throw rate to a 4.4 turnover-worthy play rate.
Adjusting completion percentage is now just 65%.
The rushing grade is now just a 65.6.
He only has 10 first downs in that time.
Five miss tackles forced.
He's not the same quarterback.
I forgot to write this down because I should have,
but at PFF, we go beyond just completions,
and we look at accuracy scores as well.
We have categories like, okay, this is an accurate throw.
This is a plus accurate throw,
which is, you know, when you're ball placement is the best way to think about this,
true ball placement.
You have catchable inaccurate passes,
and then you have uncatchable and accurate passes.
There was a time, I think it was a week ago or two weeks ago,
when Mayfield was number one in the NFL, and I mean that in a bad way,
at most uncatchable, inaccurate throws since week six.
He wasn't just quite not playing at the MVP level that he was previously.
He was one of the least efficient quarterbacks in the NFL.
And you go back to Thursday night football.
Everything that happened on Thursday night football,
if he hits that throw to Ibuka, the game is over and you win.
That is a throw that you have.
to make if you're a starting quarterback in the NFL.
That is a throw that he has to make.
And it was not accurate.
The ball placement was not there.
And that it's been too often the story of Baker since the first month and
half of the season.
So we're going to talk about the roster.
We're going to talk about building around Maker-Rainfield because he's going to be here
next year.
But first and foremost, he has to be able to play better.
Now, if you want to say that it's the shoulder injury, the shoulder's why he's not
playing.
Great.
He's not healthy.
Okay.
I get it.
He has to play better.
better he has to play better next season it can't look like this or they're not going to
continue to not win football games yeah it's it is jarring the difference though that makes
you kind of lean into it and be like he's just got to not be right physically you would
think yeah this dude was hitting everything the first month of the season with ease and
there's definitely a different comfort level when mike evans is and isn't out there but just
the eye test alone he just has not looked like the same guy with the
lack of overall accuracy and comfort.
And the style of football he plays,
he's always going to be a dude that,
like he takes a beating because he lays it all on the line to win games.
He'll run through people.
He'll hold the ball and shed off defensive ends to try to make a play.
But like you said,
there's just unfortunately been a really big drop off where,
you know,
I definitely defer to that he's hurt.
But that doesn't mean,
oh, he'll be healthy next year.
It'll be fine.
It means we got to come up with a plan that keeps Baker,
field the best version of himself across an entire season.
Draft history.
Let's look at the draft history of this team.
One change that we're not going to make is with Jason Light.
No.
Because Jason Light's one of the best general managers in the NFL, I think.
It's certainly in drafting.
This past draft, you give it an A, I gave it a B plus.
The only reason why I gave it a B plus, because it's like, I was like, I love it,
Buka, but they didn't really need him.
Well, guess what?
Boy, did they ever.
I don't know where this team is without a Mechukbuka at the beginning of the year and through the middle of the year with Mike Evans and Chris Gobwin's injury and Jalen McMillan's injuries, to be honest with you.
Benjamin Morris has absolutely struggled in his rookie season, but corners struggle generally anyways as rookies.
And Morrison's been dealing with a hamstring injury as well.
So that's never going to be good when that's something to the cornerback is dealing with.
I think he'll be okay.
We'll talk about him in the final roster a little bit later.
Jacob Parrish, I think, has shown flashes of brilliance.
I like it a lot.
Has even been good on this team.
Tess Johnson?
You talk about where would this team be without a mecca-buka?
Shoot, Tess Johnson was huge for this team in the middle of this season.
David Walker, I think, is going to be part of their pass-rush game play moving forward.
And so you will notice a theme here with 2025, 2024, all Jason Lights drafts.
This dude knows how to draft in the middle rounds and even into the day three part of things.
He is, I think he's got a great eye for talent.
I think this 2025 class is another showcase of that.
I think so too.
And the thing with light that you can really tip your cap to is, man, like, he just gets,
he finds gems deeper into the draft.
The guy clearly lives for scouting beyond the first round of it,
where you look at Tess in terms of his size is just a total outlier.
But the Bucks knew how to fit him into their past game when they needed him with all the
injuries they got hit with.
And there haven't been a lot of seventh round picks from the draft that have gotten
more production when given the opportunity than what Tess did in the middle of this season.
Yep.
20, 24.
Graham Barton in the first round, I think both of us really like Graham Barton.
I gave this draft an A.
You gave it a B plus here.
Barton has not taken the next step that I wanted him to at center.
But he's had to play left tackle a couple of games when you're.
Tristan Worf's out.
He's had different guards next to him with Cody Mock,
not playing all but two games this season.
I give him a little bit of grace there.
I would have liked for him to play better this season,
but I'll give him a little bit of grace.
Chris Braswell has not been the contributor
that they've needed him to be as a pass.
I sure that one, that one's a tough miss.
But Tyke Smith, great.
Jailen McMillan, great.
Bucking, great.
It's an awesome draft, man.
Even Elijah Klein and Devin Colp, very good.
Devon players for you.
When I saw him catch a touchdown the other night, I was like,
Devin Colt, right?
How do they get away with this?
Seventh round, dude.
Yep.
Yeah.
2023.
Collijah Cancy.
Oh, love him.
Cancy is tough because I think he's their best one-on-one passers to winter when he's healthy.
Yep.
He's just barely been healthy.
He's, he dealt with a calf injury, all of last.
year and then torn peck injury this year all two games he tore his peck and that sucks because
i think the cancy i think the combination of cancy and vita could be elite but he just has not
been healthy cody mokke's is starting interior offensive lineman for you yai diabi is your best
heavy-handed edge rusher savassi dennis yeah he struggled this year you picked him in the fifth
round right and durham's been a decent depth guy for you tray palmer had some flashes
is a sixth round guy.
So this is another draft where, like,
if Cancy's fully healthy,
I think it's another good draft from him.
I'm not trying to,
hopefully people aren't just looking at this.
Like, damn, this dude's bias is hell for the bucks.
I hope I'm not looking at this through rose color glasses.
No, look, I mean,
are great speaking themselves at the time
where we did have questions about this draft.
It wasn't perfect.
Cancy was one of my favorite players in the entire 2020 class.
And when he's been healthy, he's been a game record.
But like you said, Trevor,
when you take an undersized player at his position and he's hurt a lot,
it's part of the game, man.
Yes.
That's part of the game.
2022,
Logan Hall.
Logan Hall has been a high floor,
low ceiling player,
which you don't love drafting at the beginning of the second round
when they traded out of the first round to get here.
They were kind of just trying to keep the floor of the roster high
while Tom Brady was there.
So I kind of get it.
Luke Gettoke's been great for them as a fine as a right tackle starter.
Rashad White, obviously very good for them as a RB1 for a little bit and certainly as an
RB2.
Kate Otten's now they're starting tight end.
Zaya McCollum obviously has struggled lately, but he has ascended to the point where he's
sort of like a fringe starting cornerback.
Kokeef's a nice utility guy as a fullback and a tight end.
Again, I think that this is lower ceiling draft because Logan Hall was a high floor instead
a high ceiling type of a pick, but you found different guys in this draft.
In the 2021, I think, is the real stinker of light over the last five years.
Try and Joe Yenka did not work out for you.
Now, to be fair, hand up.
I thought it would.
I thought Joe Try and Show Yenka was going to be a steal for this team,
and he did not develop into that one-on-one passers winner that you wanted him to be.
I thought the Kyle Trask pick in the second round,
I thought this was a complete waste at the time.
I hated this pick.
You were right.
You had Tom Brady on the team.
I don't know why we're using a second round pick
to draft a player who is never going to play for you.
So I didn't love that one.
This draft, this draft was very me to me.
But, you know, they're not going to all be home runs.
No, it was a bad draft.
This wasn't a good draft.
The consensus on Trask was that that was a bad pick, and it was.
Yeah.
So that's where it's, you know.
But credits of Jason.
and light in the drafts after this, he greatly
rebounded. I like that when he needs a day three
tight end. He just calls up Washington and goes
who's in tight end.
He's got a good feel on
on the Washington program. He really does.
Clearly. It goes back to that well,
quite a bit. Yeah, he really does.
MP in the chat saying
light needs to be more aggressive in addressing the defensive
needs at Edge and linebacker.
Free agency and trades have to be aggressive.
We'll talk about this when we get to the free agency
portion of the show. But, you know, Jason,
I think there's two sides of this argument, right?
Like, I do agree with you.
I think that they need to be a little bit more aggressive.
However, Jason's very reluctant to move on from his draft picks,
and I don't blame him because he's good at it.
And this is how you, this is how you build a healthy team is through the draft.
So every draft pick that you trade for a veteran that you didn't draft and develop in your system
is somebody that you're taking a chance on
instead of a player
that you might be able to do that.
So I can understand that,
but Jason's just very wary to move on from his traffic.
We're going to talk about head coach
and we're going to talk about getting a new head coach in here
because I think that this team needs to do.
But we have a little video here to highlight

Connor, everybody figured out very quickly
that that was a sponsored uncrustable break for you.
So I hope that you enjoyed.
Wallace.
I really did.
So much time.
So much time.
The music was very intense.
Yeah, it was.
It was actually like.
People caught on very quickly.
They were like, no, you can't fool us.
We know exactly what this is.
This chat is, you can accuse them of many things, but lacking intelligence is not one.
Not one of them.
They are on all of our tricks.
They are.
They really are.
Let's run through a couple more super chats
before we get into the head coaching candidates
and what we're going to do on the staff
and then we'll get into the roster
the mock draft all that good stuff.
Andrew, $5 super chat.
My roommate's mom and grandma just arrived
to the house still watching in the living room TV
hashtag addicts.
I love that.
Paying for this with my Troy Franklin
ATD money.
Anytime TD money.
Yeah, nice.
Nailed it.
BYX.
Thank you for the super chat.
Trevor Shuckama.
Thank you for saving New Orleans.
Orleans. Thank you, Trevor. Very nice of you. You're welcome. Andrew, $5 super chat.
Y'all need a pronunciation guide on Fano. Sounds like Fother instead of the ceiling fan.
So it's not Fano, it's Fano. It's Fano. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, Andrew.
All right. There's the, there's a pronunciation guide. He gave it to us. Thank you.
Mr. Fulgers, this episode is a perfect example of how effective online bullying can be.
You're right.
It worked.
Andrew, a $5 super chat.
Tyler Shokima.
So now it's Tyler.
Is it Trek?
Whatever.
I don't care.
Be the reason why Trev fixes the bucks is poetic justice.
Bradles Clark, thank you for the super chat.
I'm hurt.
Bengals got shut out and it's not our turn.
I need Zach Taylor gone.
I need Tobin gone.
I need hope from some pimping.
Like I said to you guys at the beginning of the show, if the Bucks didn't lose an embarrassing fashion on Thursday, this would have been the Bengals.
We would have been pimp with the Bengals.
So blame the Bucs, blame the Falcons.
You blame whoever you want there.
Yeah, and that came through New Zealand currency.
So Bradles is out there.
He's a diehard.
Love that.
Jeff, $5 super chat.
Connor, as a fixture franchise vet, I want to say how awesome.
that you've handled the jacks fixture franchises with grace which one of the four thank you jeff
you've had practice uh i plan on complaining and throwing stones from my glass house that's okay
let it all out that's the point uh cheesehead joey hey happy meal how do you guys feel about jeffley
ham what that is so disrespectful happy meal i don't even know if i can read the rest of this but i'll try
How do you guys feel about Jeff Hathley
as a potential head coaching candidate,
Drake May?
I think Hathley is a very good chance to get a job.
I do too.
I think he's going to be a strong candidate.
Maybe one that we mentioned here in a few minutes
for this very team.
Admittedly don't have like an overwhelming opinion.
You know what I mean?
It's one of those where
how much can you judge,
Halfley's done a really good job in Green Bay this year.
That's not what I'm saying.
They have a lot of talent.
Their secondary has been,
Kind of so-so.
I don't know.
It wouldn't be at the top of my list, personally.
But I think Halfley is going to be at the top of some team's list.
Well, we're going to have that conversation a little bit further here in a couple of minutes.
Jari, 699 Super Chat, Trevor, Tyler, Shuck, Sycamma.
All right. Thanks, appreciate it.
And then who'd at right after that with the $2 super chat?
This is just what Saints fans are just twisting the night.
Yeah, they're liking this one.
They really are.
They knew that they were so close to.
to getting a fix your franchise episode
and that Tampa has blown it so bad
that we are now here
doing fixture franchise for the Bucks
before the Saints.
So.
Dylan Buckley,
I think the Saints are going to win out,
by the way.
They play the Jets,
Titans, and Falcons.
Oh, wow.
And Chuck is playing really well.
He is playing well.
I think they're going to win out.
Dylan Buckley,
83, 42.
Thank you for the Super Chat.
Trying to think of quarterbacks
to fix the bucks.
Best fit seems like Mahal.
Holmes, prayers up to him
and his upcoming peg leg.
Yeah, sure.
Bacon, McHill for Mahomes?
That was a wild journey
that Super Chat.
No, I agree, Dylan.
I agree.
One for one.
Yeah.
Just straight up.
Straight up.
Makes sense to me.
Conditional seventh attached to Mahomes.
Yeah, so the Bucks get a little bit more.
A sweetener.
Yeah, because Mahomes hurt, for sure.
Matthew, $5 Super Chat.
Trevor needs one of Conner's snowy walks
after the way that the buck's season has gone.
Me too.
Need to Pip the Bengals next.
Very therapeutic.
I know, walking in the snow.
It's the most quiet you'll ever hear the outside.
It helps me.
You people see what I have to do on Sunday mornings before I go work for Jets pregame.
Just nice Zen mindset.
Arlo, thank you for the $20 super chat.
Good day, fellas.
That's a nice.
There you go.
Arlo, instead of a meal.
Question, Trevor, would you break into the Saints facility to sabotage the Saints as a Tyler
Shuck impersonator?
yeah i mean if that's what it took of course yeah yeah yeah yeah i mean what are we talking about
here and then they're just like dude why can't you hit the 20 yard out right now i got it's a little sore
no i'd start playing too well see that'd be the right like this isn't tyler shook
this is gabriel andescog lu five dollar super chat um what's the more powerful entity big tucks
Big Christmas or Big Citrus?
Oh, man.
Probably Big Citrus.
Big Citrus is coming.
Yeah.
It's probably Big Citrus getting a Big Tux for Big Christmas.
Big Tux has a hold on America right now.
Because I feel like the average male, understandably,
just doesn't feel like being more creative with their Tux rental.
So then corporate Tux is just the fallback plan and they can just do whatever they want.
They're like, hey, he's.
Here is, it's $350 to rent this black garbage bag that you're wearing over your body.
It's tailored, we swear, to your custom needs.
Isn't it funny that they measure you?
Like, they're really going to give you a tailored suit.
Yeah, they measure you just because they're trying to get, you know, they're trying to get close.
I mean, yeah, oh yeah, buddy, you got a 33 waist.
Here's the pants.
He hit him with a buddy.
Yeah.
I'm telling you.
That's what you know it's over.
It's a scam.
Who'd at $2.
See if y'all can rent Brady again.
I probably would.
Look, Philip Rivers.
Philip Rivers is the first quarterback to throw for over 150 yards at 44 years old.
Since Tom Brady in his last game in the NFL threw for over 300 against Carolina Panthers.
Just to remind everybody out there what Brady was, how Brady was moving at 44.
I think what did Rivers throw for?
Their point stands.
What was it like 170 something?
No. What was it?
120.
Oh, yikes.
Long road to get there.
The point actually emphasizes your point of how amazing it was that Brady did that.
I looked this up last week when Rivers signed.
When Tom Brady was 44 years old, you realized he threw for 5,300 yards, 46 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
dude i don't know if how we did it i think he could start for the raiders next year i don't think
he will i don't think he will but he could he definitely could if the raiders didn't weren't
able to get a quarterback in the draft i think brady might do it i think he might sell his stock
in the team and basically like you know wink wink hey when i when i come back at when i get out of
retirement. Let me buy the team for the same amount. And I think he would do it. I think you would
do it. The finishing second in the MVP voting at age 44, like we don't appreciate it enough.
No, we don't. It's out of this world. All right. Next super chat here from our boy Harbaugh.
Fixing your bucks, I imagine means we either end up with the ship from the Goonies or the Titanic.
Can't wait to see which. It could even be a boat. It could even be a boat. Mystery box could be anything.
Um, G said $2 super chat.
We need a Dan Moore of the month in Discord.
I think there's only one damn more.
Actually, there's no, there's not.
There's two.
We literally look this up.
It's not one Dan more.
I caught myself.
I caught myself.
Uh, Coach Josiah, what?
Thank you for the super chat.
Trevor has been preparing for today's show his whole life.
Cue the meme.
I bet he is thinking of other women.
No, Trevor is doing a bucks three round muck.
Yeah, 100%.
I mean, literally, this is facts.
Yes, yeah.
Odd estimate, this is the last one,
and then we'll dig into the head coach of candidates here.
$5 super chat said, all right, fine, I'll say it.
The red-shamed cherry at Chippole sucks.
Get it the hell out of here, overrated.
Couldn't fundamentally disagree more.
Could not.
Wow.
I think that was written in to trigger you, honestly.
You started to like shake a little bit when you were reading it.
I'm about to fire a coach who's won the division for four straight years.
and is probably going to win it for a fifth straight year.
I'm about to fire this guy,
and yet that take right there is still the worst take
that you're going to hear on this episode.
I have to try it.
Yeah, you do.
I need more allies here.
I need more allies in the chat.
I unfortunately don't think I'm going to like it,
but do you just not like...
Have you had Chimmy Cherry with steak anyways?
Yeah, I actually...
Kristen made, like, from scratch this summer.
I did the steak.
She did the Chimmy Chimmy Chish with steak.
shirry she did from scratch and i was a 10 out of 10 amazing i was actually hold on then why aren't you
going to like it that's just chipotle red chimicherry i don't know see now you're going in with
now you're going in with this negative see this is this is why odd estimate sent this five dollar
super chat so he poison your mind and now you're going to go into it negative biases yeah i know i'm
i'm going to have a bite and be like oh you're just right damn that's probably the best five dollars
that that odd estimate ever sent i would say it's up there man can't get much for five
bucks these days. You can get in Trevor's mind rent-free. Not mine. Not mine. Yours.
This is a steel trap right here. Nothing gets in, nothing gets out.
Haven't learned anything in 20 years. I'll be open-minded. Okay. Head coach of Canada is for the
Tampa Buccaneers. Like I said, when you look at the record books,
Bolt has done enough to stick around. But I think it's beyond that. I think the fact that
this team is up against the wall, panicking, chaos ensuing, no answers from
up top. No answers from the leaders on the team. Nothing.
I think that's reason enough to have to move on. So I think that Todd Bowles is going to be
gone after this year. These are the head coaching candidates that I think that they will think
about. Jesse Minter, defense coordinator, Los Angeles Rams. Chris Shula,
defense coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams, Clint Kubiak, the OC for the Seattle Seahawks
fans, Joseph, defense coordinator for the Denver Broncos, got that head coaching experience.
I put Jeff Halfley up here as well. And then if you want head coaching experience,
Mike McCarthy, and the hilarious one is getting John Gruden out of the content creator game
to come back to the Buccaneers.
They already put his name back in the Ring of Honor, so.
Seems like the crowd pleases her move.
Very clearly, they're cool with them.
My.
Yeah, but that's a different level, right?
Like putting his name back in the Ring of Honor is a big deal,
but then actually making him the head coach your team again.
Yeah.
Maybe.
I don't know, man.
If you put his name back in the Ring of Honor,
I think you're cool with him.
And he's, what do you think of it?
Let's start with Gurdon.
I don't, I don't know what to think about.
You don't seem enthusiastic.
Yeah, I just don't know what to think about Gurdon.
Now, the interesting, the interesting part of this whole conversation is I think they want an offensive mind, right?
Like I, I, I, yes, yes.
Because I think that they want an offensive mind.
How many offensive minds are.
are out there for this head coaching cycle.
It's basically Kubiak, who I've kind of heard
is a little bit more of a reserved guy anyways.
I've never met him, so I don't know that for sure.
But does he have like that head coaching personality
that you're going to gravitate towards that you're pumped about higher
and like all that kinds of stuff beyond him just being a good
offensive coordinator play caller?
Because we talk about that all the time here on the show.
Just because you're a good offense coordinator or play caller doesn't mean you're
going to be a good head coach.
If he is that, sure, I think he's on the table.
Mike McCarthy and John Gruden,
retread guys, right? I mean, if you're, if, if this team were to hire John Gruden,
you are hiring this person almost 20 years after you fired him.
20 years. That's wild. I just, I just don't know if they would bring themselves to do it,
but I think that some Bucks fans would be interested in it. And I think that some people
would look at this situation. And because he is an offensive guy, they'd be all in on it.
Because let's face this as well, like I mentioned earlier in the show, last three years,
You had Dave Canales
and offense coordinator, poached.
Liam Cohen,
offense coordinator, poached.
If John Grizzard,
or Josh Grisard coached well this year,
guess what?
He'd have been, poached.
If you don't have an offensive-minded head coach,
this will happen to you every single offseason.
That's exactly right.
And I, to be honest with you,
of the guys who are on this list,
I would love Jesse Minter.
I would love Jesse Minter.
Jesse Mentor, Chris Shula, I think one of these two guys.
I'm all in.
I think these guys are head coach type of guys from everything that I've sort of heard from them,
read about them, how they are operating on their side of the ball with their respective teams.
I'd be all in.
The problem is, whoever their offense coordinator is,
even if they bring in a good offense coordinator next year, guess what happens?
They coach well, gone.
And that's just the league that we live in.
So if you don't hire an offensive-minded head coach,
you are going to be switching over offensive coordinators all the time.
And I think that's a tough cycle to live in.
So that's where I'm at.
It's what makes it so difficult because a lot of the names we're hearing
floated around this offseason are defensive coordinators.
And that doesn't prevent them from being really good candidates.
Minter deserves to be at the top of this list.
Shula's done a lot of good things.
depending on the hurdles of the lawsuit,
I think Brian Flores is going to do very well
with the second chance somewhere.
I really believe in that.
But once again, it goes back to the problem,
Trevor, that not only you're highlighting,
but the Bucks have lived through,
where it hits close to home even harder.
It's not like an organization
that never has their O.C. hired away,
so they look at it and go,
that'd be a great problem to have.
That means we finally had some success.
The Bucks have had that happen multiple times
where the name that's not on this list because he has a job right now,
so it's hard to put him in this conversation, though.
But makes sense for this team, despite how bad this year has been,
is Kevin Stefansky.
But didn't Stefansky and Baker have a bad breakup?
That's a great question, though.
How did that end?
Was it between them?
I thought they had a bad breakup.
Possibly.
That was so convoluted because you,
You had Odell's dad involved.
You had Baker playing hurt and the bucks, I mean, at the bucks, the Browns were
kind of like, oh, he's been bad and it's like, oh, he was actually hurt.
If there is any conflict between those two, then it's not, it's a non-starter.
Like, you're not hiring him.
Yeah.
Because this hire, a lot of this hire is about Baker because he's the guy.
100%.
Yeah.
I'm moving on from Baker-Madefield, even from Holmes and a seventh.
So Kevin's saying, I think the owner was more of the issue.
I think so, too, but like that's what I thought.
But, like, is Stefansky sort of just in that group?
And I don't know their relationship.
They might both hate Jimmy Haslam.
Maybe they do.
Maybe they do.
With the way Stifansky is looking this year, I think he wants nothing to do with being there anymore.
Because I also thought of Stifansky, but I didn't put him on here because of how it ended with Baker in Cleveland.
And Stavansky was obviously there.
So if he's good with Stifansky, absolutely, if Stifansky becomes a, uh, uh,
an open head coach, then I'm, I'm in.
I'm 100%.
I'd love him.
Because I think he'll have, if the Browns let Stefansky go,
or they mutually part ways, whatever it is,
I know Browns fans don't like him right now and all that,
and I get it.
I'm a firm believer that he'd have a job next year as a head coach.
Stavansky?
Yeah, I don't think he'll have to go back to being an OC for a couple years
and then get a second shot.
I really think he'd get a job.
Look at this list and that'll tell you.
Yes.
But I, listen, Minter, awesome, awesome candidate.
Like you could do, it just, do we feel like it has to be an offensive guy, Trevor,
for the reasons you're saying.
Because I kind of, I hate being so narrow-minded, but I kind of feel that way.
Yeah.
Somebody in the chat also brought up Todd Munkin, who, funny enough,
Munkin was the offensive coordinator in Tampa.
Right.
You covered the team closely when Munkin was the play caller, didn't you?
I didn't.
And that's why I like Munkin a lot.
Yeah.
Because I just think he's a, he's an OBS type of a head coach.
And I think he's a, and I really do think he's a great offensive mind.
It's hard to argue against that.
He's interviewed with multiple teams for head coach over the last couple of seasons.
I don't hate that.
I really don't.
Brother, I want you to have as much autonomy here as possible,
knowing how you know this team and the organization.
I just, I think I would love Jesse, I would love Jesse Mentor,
Chris Shula. I want that to be said here, but I just have such a fear of if you hire a defensive
guy, you're just going to get poached for your offensive guy every single. What?
Buzz, Mikey, and the chat goes, can I interest you in one John Morin in parentheses? He does
nothing. No, probably not.
Good self, you asked me. Probably not. So, John, what have you been doing this past year? Well,
they strip play calling for me, so I don't really do anything.
You're hired.
All right, let's go Todd Munkin.
Todd Munkin.
Let's bring him home.
The homecoming that the people need.
Dude, can you think about Todd Munkin designing an offense for Baker Mayfield and all four
of these wide receivers?
I mean, the fit is.
And there's obviously a comfort level there.
He knows the organization.
He does.
I think if any team would, is.
because you and I had kind of waved the white flag on Todd Munkin will be an NFL head coach.
If any team is actually going to do it, you would think it's this organization for how well they know him.
I've said this before on this podcast, because he hasn't gotten a ton of head coaching interviews.
I remember when Munkin interviewed with the Jets, I asked people that were there for it.
Yeah.
And they were like, phenomenal interview.
Really?
They loved him.
Oh, I'm in.
They loved him.
I'm still in.
It wasn't like it was like he.
interviewed poorly. He's a different kind of cat. You covered him. You know more than anything.
He's, I think it's very direct is how he is. Like he's going to say what he's not really going to
like sugarcoat things. Loving life in the chat said, uh, the chat's on fire pulling for a coach
to Trev didn't even load into the graphic. It's true. It's very true. We go off the,
off the graphic all the time. Yeah, we do. All right. So, all right, we're hiring, we're hiring Todd Monkin.
Todd Monkin is the head coach. I, I'm not doing.
the, I'm not doing the, just revolving offense coordinators continuously.
I don't want to do it.
No.
But I like that we left the caveat open.
If Stefansky and the Browns move on from each other, I think this could very well
be the team.
Yeah.
All right.
There we go.
Project the starting lineup for this team with Todd Munkin is their head coach.
Jason Light still is the general manager.
Not a lot of, not a lot of change here, man.
Baker still the quarterback.
Bucky still the running back.
Mike is a free agent
we'll talk about that in a second
I don't think he's retiring
I don't think he's going out like this
He's not going anywhere
No he well he's not signing anywhere else for sure
That's what I don't think he's going out like this
He's not going I think what Mike is going to do
Is he's going to try his best to be fully healthy next year
He's going to try to get another 1,000 yard season next year
And I think after that season he'll be like boom
See there we go every every season that I was healthy
I had a thousand yards
And I think that he's going to try for one more year
So I think he's back.
King Chris Gobwin's back.
K. Dodd-Namekigbuka.
Jail and McMillan, think those guys are back.
Worf's, Gettakee at the tackle spots.
Mock's going to be back at one of the guard spots.
Bredison, who signed a three-year deal for them.
I think he's one of the offensive guards.
And then Graham Barton at center.
There's a chance that Barton and Breddison could potentially flip
because Breddison actually played pretty well at center
when Barton was forced to play left tackle.
And Barton didn't really progress to center this year.
So I wonder if there's a world where we're maybe flipping those two guys.
But I think that's the starting.
I think that's the starting offense for them.
Now, on the defense side of things, this is where we get a little bit more flexibility.
I can't see Invea are still the defensive tackles for this team.
No idea who plays Ed Rush or no idea who plays linebacker.
Not Hassan Redick again.
No, because he's a free agent.
Free agent, just let him go.
By the way, did you write it?
Sorry, I missed that.
You had Kate Otton written in, right?
I did.
You think it makes sense for them to just bring him back, right?
He's a free agent, but they'll bring him back.
It's not going to cost the time.
Yeah, yeah.
I agree.
I think that they're going.
Sorry, I threw us off the rails.
No, you're good.
In the secondary, I think Zion's back next year.
You didn't play well, but I think he's back.
I don't think Jamel.
I think Jamel Dean is tied to Todd Bowles.
If Todd Bowles is back, then I think Jamel Dean is back.
But with Todd Bulls not being there, I don't think he's there.
I think Benjamin Morrison's got to step up, be the second round pick and start at the outside corner spot.
Jacob Parrish in the slot, Winfield's a safety, and then Tyke Smith's the safety as well.
So that's a projected starting line at the first.
I have there. The team needs offensive guard, maybe, two edge rushers, two linebackers,
and perhaps a corner. Yeah, we need pass rushing the worst way because I think that'll help
the young corners. So that brings us to the free agents here that the Bucks have. So Mike Evans
is a free agent. He's coming back. And he has a void year on the end of his contract that I
think that they will just simply activate. So it's not really any difference on the
the cap for him.
It's just you're activating that void year that you would probably be paying anyway from him.
Hassan Radick, I don't think comes back.
Levante David, I think, retires.
Jamel Dean, I think he's gone if Todd Bowles is gone.
K. Dot, and I think they bring back.
I don't think they bring back Greg Gaines, Logan Hall, Sterling Shepard, Rashad White, Dion
Jones, Dan Feeney, maybe.
Kokeef, they'll probably bring back just as a utility guy that they like.
And Sean Tucker, I don't think he's going anywhere, even though he's.
But it's him a tender.
Yeah.
Yeah, you'll tender him.
Christian Izzy and I think they will probably let him walk besides somewhere else.
Jeff says no to Aden.
Like, I just, I think the team likes Aten.
Not that you can't.
Super chat from Jeff.
Not that you can't get another tight end.
I just think that they're going to bring back Aten.
And if the situation presents itself where they can upgrade from it, then I think that they will.
Yeah, just put the guaranteed money in the first year of his deal and try to draft another mid-round gem.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah.
So Tucker, I think, is going to be kept, like Connor just said.
I think you'll tender him, and I think he'll still be on the team.
So the free agents that they have, they'll bring back Mike.
They'll bring back Auden, and I think they're bringing back Sean Tucker and co-keef.
I agree.
I don't think you need to go overboard and bring back anyone else on this list.
Yeah, yep.
Cap space, they have $21.3 million in effective cap safes for 2026, thanks to the wizard
that is Mike Greenberg.
They're a salary cap guy.
Yeah, he's quite good, huh?
Shout out, Mike Greenberg.
Yeah, he's awesome.
41 players are in contract for 2026.
They'll pick up Colliagicancy's fifth year option,
so they'll activate that.
They'll bring back Kate Otten for...
I was talking to Josh Capo,
who does a lot of really great work for Pewter Report,
and just does a lot of really great work in general,
just with salary caps and average per year projections around the league.
And he said, Auden probably somewhere on like $13 million APY.
So they'll get him back for some.
on which he, Mike has the void year
that they'll just activate there from him.
So that won't really be breaking the bank.
Then we get into free agent targets.
Depending on what Trey Hendrickson's
price tag is.
Because he's going to be what, 32, 33 years old?
I think 32.
Back issues.
That's why he didn't play this year.
So he heard his hip too at another point.
He's been banged up.
I think the injuries with him could lead
to his price tag being a lot cheaper than
people expect. I would
agree. So I think he's an option there.
Jacob Martin potentially is just a new body
as an edge rusher if they want.
These next two names
though,
obviously if they have
a chance of Devin Lloyd,
like we've said for every
fixture franchise, you should probably think about it.
Nikobi Dean is the one that I think makes
the most sense for this team though. Interesting.
Because
The Eagles drafted Jehad Campbell.
Nikobi Dean is playing very well.
He's playing...
Nicobi Dean is playing so well
that Jakai Campbell is not really playing as of late.
But the way that Howie does things,
I cannot imagine they're going to pay Zach Bonn,
pay Nekobi Dean,
and have drafted Jihad Campbell in the first round.
I just don't think that they're going to do that.
I think they're going to let Nekobie Dean walk.
This is what the Eagles do, man.
Like, Nicopi Dean,
who I feel like the draft community loved, loved.
I feel like most of us had him in the first round.
He falls because of medical concerns.
The Eagles get him in the third round.
He balls out after some injuries.
And then they go try to find the next to Kobe Dean.
Yeah.
So it's not crazy at all.
His physicality would be a really nice fit in the Fat Front Seven.
So I like getting to Kobe Dean.
People in the chat are saying Quay Walker will probably
be back to the Packers. I agree.
Yeah, probably. I would rather have Nekobi than I would have Quay Walker because I think
that Nkobi is a little bit more instinctual in what he does. He's not as physically gifted,
but he's more instinctual. And the Bucks absolutely need that. So signing Dean here,
if you don't get the chance to sign Dean, you know, Quincy Williams, Devin Bush, I think
those are two guys that Devin Bush is coming off a really good year that as long as
Jeremiah Wusu Cuomo is healthy for the Browns, I don't think that he will resign there.
And Quincy won't be back with the Jets.
But Quincy won't be back with Jets.
Bad year.
I like him to rebound next year.
Yeah.
So those are some depth linebackers that I would think about.
You would still need to do more with linebacker,
even if you sign those guys.
So I like Nicoby Dean, though.
He's the one that makes the most sense to me.
And then I'll throw one out at you.
I'll throw a scenario out at you before we get into the mock draft.
What about Nick Herbig trading for him?
You think because of the usage for him, they would be open to that?
Yeah.
Because he's always like kind of this guy where you're like, why doesn't he play more?
Yeah, and he's got an insane passers win rate.
Oh, dude, he's an absolute demon.
What's his contract like?
Dude, he's got to be getting close to just being a free agent.
It's probably a year away, I would think.
He is a year away.
Next year, he is his contract year.
because he was a fourth round pick.
Why would the Steelers trade him over Highsmith?
Don't they play Highsmith a lot more?
Well, they paid High Smith.
Yeah.
So, yeah, I mean, in theory, they can trade Highsmith,
but like Trevor said, they paid High Smith and they play High Smith.
Perfect's awesome.
I, you almost wonder, though,
I know this is crazy to say.
say, but at Watt's age, did they just hold on to Herbig, let him play through next year?
I know Watt has an extension.
Now, Watt has a lot of guaranteed money for the two years after this one.
Yeah.
At some point, you got to make a hard decision.
Wow.
You might be honest.
I mean, I know Steelers fans are probably like, we can't trade Herbig.
And I get it.
But I don't know what you're going to get for Highsmith right now.
I think you get something for Herbing.
Well, yeah, you should.
Because he's a guy that you trade for and extend with the trade.
Right, right.
I don't know.
I don't have a feel in the Steelers organization to know how comfortable they would be to do that.
But, man, that's tough to let a player like that out the door.
If they do, they should ask for at least a second round pick.
That's what I was thinking, you know.
Yeah.
I was thinking you obviously like, as you see what the, the officer.
offer is you offer a third and maybe something else, but then you'd be comfortable offering a
second. Because I'd trade a second round pick for Nick Herbig.
Yeah, everybody in the chat, you're saying they'd trade Highsmith over him. And I know that,
but you're what, what's his contract? He's probably got two years left.
Because don't they play Highsmith a lot more? Yes.
Damn, Highsmith got paid paid.
he does have two years after this one he signed a four years 68 million dollar deal he's got two years
after this uh all his guaranteed money though is kind of over after 2006 like it's a minimal
charge if they cut them or moved on from him in 2007 yeah it's tough for the steelers to let her
big go man like you got to you got to keep your good players and especially that could rush
the passer there you go that's an interesting point though if they need a quarterback which
Aaron Rogers isn't getting any younger.
You do need more ammo.
That's what I'm saying.
So HM.
Yez said,
Hi, Smith plays more,
but Herbig is better.
That's always what I see Steelers fans and analysts.
Like John Ledger does our boy.
I know he tweets about,
you know,
obviously the Steelers all the time.
And I feel like the general take is that Herbig
when he plays is awesome.
Yeah,
because you also have the ability to,
if you want to trade the Steelers,
if you want to trade
the Steelers like they could trade a second end like McMillan you know what I'm saying like they've
got more wide receivers than they need and the Steelers need a wide receiver so now all of a sudden
you get an extra ammunition to move around for a quarterback we're also giving you a wide receiver
you're moving on from a defensive lineman who is obviously very good but like that's the point of
the trade right right like I wonder if I wonder if Tampa would even do that with godwin probably
not but you know do you do like hey third rounder and godwin and we get her big
Godwin's money is probably a total pain in the ass, right?
Because they go all the money they dumped into DK.
Yeah, it is.
I mean, it's obviously a lot of money,
but they're getting a wide receiver who's good,
who's coming off injury.
But yeah, you have to think about that.
But I kind of like a second in McMillan for Herbig.
I kind of want to do it.
Screw it.
Even if people are like, oh, the Steelers won't do it.
Well, yeah.
Yeah.
I'm going to do it.
I'm going to do it there.
So they're signing to Kobe Dean and then they're trading like a second in McMillan
or I don't know exactly what it would be.
Well, let's do the two.
So when we do the mock draft, we have the one and the three.
Okay.
All right.
All right.
Realistic.
This works.
This works.
I like that.
People were probably mad.
People were probably going to be mad at us for the value, but it is what it is.
All right, let's do it.
Todd Monk is a head coach.
You know what it reminds me of?
Not to cut you off.
It reminds me of when.
well no they didn't they actually didn't trade him but remember when shack barrett was always
really good as the third guy in denver and it was always like man if shack barrett ever gets a chance
like he might be something yeah and then shack barrett when he left became a dude
in tampa bay he did indeed and he was 19 and a half back baby people forget right but
remember all those years in denver shack barrett was i feel like he was
the third guy for a long time.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He never had more than five and a half sacks in Denver.
Yeah.
No, no, no, no.
Jack Barrett was a very, very quiet in his NFL career.
But then he blew up in Tampa because he was the guy.
But then he absolutely blew up.
That could be her big.
Who's very good for the Steelers, but he's still the third guy.
All right.
Before we get into the mock draft, our financial, or our game plan of the week,

Okay.
Bucks mock draft to get into it.
For those of you that might be watching this as the one-off video,
we've got Todd Munkin as the new head coach here.
We signed to Kobe Dean in free agency.
Mike Evans is back.
K. Dotten is back.
A lot of the other defensive guys who were free agents are not back.
But we did trade a second round pick and Jalen McMillan for Nick Herbig from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
So we got a passers winner.
We got a linebacker.
And now we're getting into the draft here.
Let's do it.
We got picks one through three.
We're doing a three-round mock draft here for the Buccaneers.
Obviously, we don't have this second round pick.
So, Tyler, if you want to do that, go over to the Steelers.
Let's see.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. Go ahead and click. Go ahead and get that one-on-one pass.
Nick Herbig, right there. You go a second rounder and J.O. McMillan.
Look at that. They love it. They love the trade.
All right. Let's do it. Fourth trade, to get into it.
So the Bucks are currently picking 19th because they are at the top of the division.
If they weren't winning the division, they'd be picking a little bit lower where Carolina is selecting.
They're at number 16.
All right. I still think pass rush your corner linebacker.
absolutely at the top
Did Sony Stiles get taken?
God, come on! Dallas!
We're trying to be great over here!
And David Bailey went two picks ahead of us.
Well, this sucks.
That's tough.
The mock drafts ruined.
Brother, T.J. Parker, Cassius Howl.
Both of the...
What are we doing here?
Might have you doing two mocktaker for the Buccaneers.
Not ideal.
Not ideal.
Hmm.
Your boy, Arme, since,
Thomas.
Yeah, I'm not picking.
Oh!
What?
Not at 19, huh?
Brother, don't act like that's a dunk on me.
I got to rank 33rd.
Don't act like you're, don't act like I just alley-uped against myself off the glass.
You hate him.
You can't stand him.
You go, I wouldn't take him at 19?
Is Katie's Sadeeke here?
Actually?
No, he just went to the Jets at 18.
We got sniped on every.
player we want it. Dude, this is, this is tough.
Not good.
Not good.
Spentrefano play guard.
I mean, in this scenario.
Vegas still here too.
It is wild.
Fano fell to 19 and all the players we wanted to went ahead of us.
Can you scroll down on who's left on the draft order really quick?
Because I'm thinking about trade down.
I'm not going to be on.
Who's coming up in this slot?
That's what, well, somebody who needs an offensive lineman.
Chargers?
Chargers?
Yeah.
I mean, both their tackles are going to be back next year.
The interior stinks, though.
I mean, they need anybody.
Texans, dude, Texans.
Where are the Texans at?
22.
22.
Popping up three spots.
What do we get in an extra third?
Yeah.
I want my picks back.
Every show
That line is going to be run to the ground by us
By the end of the year
Yeah, third rounder, I think
What do they got?
Oh, they have
65
Yeah, I guess it would just be adding 65
Right?
That's not a bad overpay, is it?
Let's see.
Hold on.
Let's go, 19 to 22.
Okay.
It's like $100.65.
Eh, it's a little bit overpay.
We'd give them like a fourth rounder or something back,
but we're picking back in the fifth.
Like if, nah, give them like a fifth rounder.
Give them like a fifth rounder.
There you go.
Give them like a fifth rounder.
All right, let's do it.
So now they're going up.
They pick an offensive alignment.
Did they actually do it?
No.
No, they did.
Of course.
not. All right. So we trade it down a little bit. Basically, a lot of the same options are still here, obviously.
Ramello? I don't know. I don't know if the buck should be in on a one-year wonder type of a pass rusher.
I really don't know.
C.J. Allen?
Maybe C.J. Allen. I feel a little bit better about C.J. Allen now that we got a trade down and we got an extra third round pick out of it.
Yeah.
Really good run defender.
Nkoby Dean can be that instinctual guy next to him.
You're raising the floor so much.
I like C.J. Allen, man.
A lot of people are shouting out like Caden McDonald.
Yeah.
Just draft a wide receiver.
Yeah, Pete.
There you go.
Just replace him immediately.
Get the upgrade.
When weasen said, F it, Concepcion.
McDonald does give you.
not only can't see protection, but he's a totally different player that even if
cancy was healthy, you have this insane rotation of three defensive tackles.
I don't totally hate that.
I don't love the corner board.
No.
All right, I'll leave it up to you.
Caden McDonald or C.J. Allen here.
Because I actually, I think we get linebacker in the.
the third round, to be honest with you.
Then let's go Caden McDonald.
Yeah, let's go Caden MacDonald.
Just because Cancy's been hurt.
So let's get McDonald in here.
I don't mind this here because I think in the third round,
we can get both offensive line and linebacker.
So here we're sitting at the top of round three.
How big Citrus is here.
I don't think Big Citrus would make it to 65, though.
Or is Jacob Rodriguez.
Oh, he's going to be a little bit lower,
but we could get him with this next third round pick.
Do we want two really small lineings?
linebackers, though, because Nikobe Dean is very small.
He is small. I thought about that with Tori and York, who's here as well.
I love Tori and York, but do you want two smaller linebackers?
Right.
I don't know about that.
I like Chase Bissontas as well for a guard if we were going to go offensive line there.
Jacob Rodriguez is there, but we have one more pick here.
Yeah, I definitely want Rodriguez in this draft.
Do you? Okay.
So let's, I mean, let's take him at the top of the third round then.
I don't know Rodriguez also small.
How big is he?
I don't think he's small.
I think he's just average.
6-1-2-30.
Yeah, I mean, he's a little on the smaller side.
They don't make off-ball linebackers like they used to.
Yeah, he's obviously been so good this year, though.
All right, we'll get him with one of these other two picks.
It's just a matter of what's the,
What's the strategy?
What's corner?
What corners are available?
Corners or guards?
Yeah.
Okay.
Julian Yield,
Dean's La Pons.
Didgele Pons was the name of their type.
Yep.
Scrappy.
Doesn't matter how the undersized he is.
I also like,
I like Carter Smith.
From Indiana.
To play guard, right?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't think he's a tackle.
Him or Chase Bissontas, honestly.
I think Bissontas is great.
I think I'd take Pons and Rodriguez.
I'd just roll with the O line the way that it is.
I mean, you tell me.
I think they got their starting five if they're healthy.
You're driving depth.
Yeah.
All right, let's go DeAngelo Ponds here at 65,
and then let's go Jacob Rodriguez with that.
next pick yeah go linebacker yeah there he is there he is okay so this is this is the first
draft that we did for the buccaneers we traded down mcdonald ponds and and rodriguez are three
just football players man that are pro ready too they're not developmental guys these guys have
played a lot of ball and this is and this is good because we only added nick herbig at the edge
rush by you're basically you're basically really hoping
that Chris Braswell is able to stand up for you,
which the thing is okay.
You know, you got, well, you have Hey, man, Yaya Diabi, I should say.
Diabi is still on this team.
So I actually really don't mind this at all with this being how we fix things.
We get two new linebackers, Jacob Rodriguez and Nacobi Dean,
edge rushers, you added Nick Herber.
You still have Yaya Diabia and Chris Braswell.
You add a kid McDonald in the middle.
And then you got DeAngelo Pons as just one hell of a football player
to just play in your secondary.
I like that.
Other than Ponds being a little bit on the shorter side,
now you kind of got just like short corners outside of Zion McCollum.
I actually like this.
Can we speed run another one, see if we get a little bit more luck?
All right, let's speed run one more.
Let's see if we get a little bit more lucky.
Yeah, we got to trade the pick for Herbig.
Steelers.
Yeah, Nick Herbig, there we go.
Second rounder, Jailen McMillan.
Yeah, start draft.
same thing the passers just went and sony styles went right in front of us oh look at the jets
you son of them makes sense mock draft simulator knows this is probably sadique like if we're
sitting here at 19 and we're not trading down and we've got this same scenario
upgrade a tight end this certainly helps make up for McMillan
Yeah, let's do Sadiq here.
I think that makes no more sense for him.
Sadiq is going to have a crazy process.
And then we've only got one pick here.
Is there some kind of rotational pass rusher we could at least get here across from Herbig?
Um,
I don't see anybody.
of Sutton maybe but yeah my Kyle Camara maybe I don't love that here at 63 I know man
I don't mind your boy Barham but I know barum's got some juice yeah and not at 63 though
can we scroll back up Tyler yeah this ended up being tough I like the I like that I
obviously like the trade down option a lot more I'm gonna like that
Because I think Jake Galday is probably the pick here.
Just somebody who's, he's, yeah, he's tall, he's long, he's strong,
he can play off the edge, he can play on the middle,
really good grades throughout his career.
I think he's probably your pick here.
So you got Sadiq and you got, you got Galdi here.
Yeah, let's make that pick.
Let's make that pick there.
It's a good example, though, of how the draft changes outside of like the first 16 picks.
Yeah.
Like you could, you definitely could feel.
a little bit of a different tier.
Yeah. All right.
So there we go.
Those are the two mock drafts that we have for the Buccaneers.
I think I like the first one better,
more impactful guys on defense.
But I really did too.
More than I'm looking at this,
like Ken and Sadiq and Jake Galdi,
I think are really good football players.
And I think you fixed a lot of stuff.
You don't get the added bonus of an extra secondary player
who I think is a dog in DeAngelo Ponds
and one hell of an anchor in the middle like Caden McDonald.
But I do still think that these are two really good football players.
And I think Sadiq is somebody who can change.
your offense with how talented he is at tight end.
There we go, folks.
Consider the bucks fixed.
I know you guys were very, very worried about a team that's probably going to make the playoffs anyways
and how we were going with the division again.
Fix this team.
But just to recap, we're keeping Jason Light, obviously.
We're moving on from Todd Bowles.
We're getting an offensive mind and a familiar face in Todd Monkin as the head coach there,
bringing back Mike Evans, bringing back Kate Otten, bringing back Sean Tucker as well.
But a lot of the other faces, they're going to be leaving.
We're trading for Nick Herbig, one of those wide receivers, probably Jalen McMillan and a pick, second round, third round, something like that for Nick Herbig there, whatever it takes to get it done as a great one-on-one passers winner to get him on the outside.
And then obviously the two mock drafts that you guys can decide which one you like better.
Appreciate everybody watching and listen to the program.
There's a lot of fun to do.
Thank you for letting me get this off my chest.
It's very therapeutic for me.
I really needed this.
We got a lot of super chats that we're going to get to in the after the episode that we will do after we log off here and officially.
sign off. Well, also, you guys have been asking for the after the episode stuff.
And we normally do it for those of you who have given a super chats who are watching the show

obviously we'll close the fixing. So obviously everybody hang around. But it's always fun
when we do a different version of a team that's not a basement rebuild, but just needed some fine
tuning. And I think that's exactly what we did for the bucks. Yes. And like we've said before,
there is a plan, a very fun plan to address all the teams that don't get full
fix your franchise episodes.
We're going to have some offseason plans for every single team that did not get a
fixture franchise episode.
So we'll start that next week.
Oh, by the way, Wednesday's episode, wide receiver rankings, baby.
That's right.
Wide receiver rankings kind of buried the lead there.
I probably should have mentioned that a little bit sooner.
But we are finally getting to early positional rankings.
We are starting with everybody's favorite position.
It is wide receiver on Wednesday.
going to be going through our early top tens and some other guys that, you know,
we're getting into the conversation there as we're watching the Senior Bowl and Triumph
guys. These guys are declaring for the NFL draft or getting in the transfer portal, all that
good stuff. We'll catch you up on all that and our latest rankings for that position and start
those early position rankings. For the chef, Tyler Cook, behind the glass, producing the show.
