Welcome to the opening bell, the NFL Stock Exchange podcast.
Trevor Sikima, Connor Rogers, here with you guys for another Stock Watch episode.
Very excited for this, Connor, as we've got a lot to get to.
We catch up on the quarterback class.
We bring three stock up, stock down players, give the good,
people two new names that they haven't seen yet how you doing my friend i'm good the chat has me
dying before we even start the show i i we should peel back the curtain a little bit here so
since we've started going lives first i i want to say that uh we have appreciated the feedback from
everybody both both like pros and cons of going live we do see that but we do really enjoy
the live function of the show for a lot of reasons one of them is the pre-show lobby so the show
starts at 4.30 p.m. Eastern time every Monday and Wednesday. But Tyler, our wonderful producer,
opens up the show about 10, 15 minutes early, and the comments just get to start rolling in.
And you guys...
We're dying laughing with some of the comments that you guys have been sending before
the show even begins. It's unbelievable. And that's why we love you guys so much.
It's amazing. I love it. I didn't put a metal on cross hole in the microphone.
wave as much as the accusations were out there um yeah oh man there it is from jimmy just jimmy
and he's even got the jay avatar why why because said trevor you're frozen before the show even
started and uh you know what we're gonna fight for that to go out front parking lot it's time to throw
pisticoves for that for a comment like that but no Trevor you're frozen yeah there it is not
this time.
We already got a super chat, by the way.
Did we want to super chat?
Super chats from Matt Westbrook.
Can we get some love for Akeem the Dream Messador today?
Dude.
So I'm awesome.
So Akeem Messador, just so we get hit on this really quickly.
First of all, thank you for the super chat.
We appreciate you.
Akeem Messador, it's the edge rusher at Miami.
Opposite Ruben Bain Jr.
Ruben Bain Jr. is getting a lot of the pub.
But Akeem Sador is also playing very, very well.
I just watched him a couple of weeks ago, and he is playing his best football.
Now, I think he's lost like 15, 20 pounds from they had him playing like three, four defensive
ends and defensive tackle last week, last year or the last couple of years, honestly,
and he has lost a bunch of weight and they have played him now as a stand-up outside linebacker.
And that extra speed, he's doing a ton with it.
I think a lot of the attention is to Bain.
So that's to his advantage.
But he is making the most of it, man.
I think that right now he's a fringe top 100 player and I would not have said that before
the season started.
So there you go.
We're giving you your Akeem the Dream Messdor analysis here right off the top of the show.
So we were actually asked about him when you froze and rage quit the show.
Yeah, it was a rage quit.
It really was.
So I was saying a lot of what you said that it's like, man, he's taking advantage of an extra year as much as anybody possibly could.
It's going to be interesting seeing his evaluation.
Do you know he will be a 25 year old prospect on Drap Night?
Damn.
The Brandon Whedon of defensive ends.
Yeah, he's been around a while.
He's capitalizing on it.
I'm with you that he's playing his way significantly higher up than what his preseason
evaluations and grades were.
But let's see how it all shakes out.
Another super chat to start the show.
Talk about Smith Snowden.
Locked out, Jordan Tyson and John Henry Daly leading the country in Sacks.
I think we have talked about John Henry Daly before.
Have we not?
I thought so.
I haven't talked about Smith.
I haven't seen Smith Snowden.
So I do like Smith Snowden.
He is, he's like a.
he's a true athlete type of a player they have him at corner he plays slot he plays on the
outside but also he's played some snaps on offense to regular old Travis hunter in that regard
obviously he's not quite the prospect that Travis Hunter is but he's a pretty damn good athlete
and I did not see the Jordan Tyson game so I have to go back and watch that but he's he was
he was Tyson yeah because he's out this week he's out this week but I'm pretty sure he was he
came into the week with some kind of small injury.
So maybe they're finally kind of taking a little careful with him.
And he still caught a touchdown, which is hilarious.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Rodney in the chat saying Trevor's camera problem is just a skill issue.
Again, meet in the parking lot.
I'm already out there fighting why because.
My goodness.
Take everybody on it once.
No, no, no.
We're going to, you know what, guys?
No camera or mic issues this show.
I'm saying it's going to happen.
I'm calling my shot.
By the way, this is an amazing interaction on our next super chat.
Peter Kilmartin said,
if you guys get a chance,
we'd love your take on the other Notre Dame running back,
Jedarian Price,
who was on my stock up last week,
and Jimmy responded,
Connor applied to adopt last week.
Which I,
you kind of did.
I did really go to bat for him.
I was like,
I love him for the kick return rules.
And then once in a blue moon,
a player makes you look smart.
And he returned a kick for a touchdown against USC.
Judarian Price is very, very good at both kick returner and running back.
So if you want to check that one out, Peter, he is definitely in the time code of our stock watch from last week.
But yeah, he's been awesome.
We talk about him on NBC pregame.
Every time we have a Notre Dame game, he's getting the love he deserves for sure.
Raphael is saying that Connor Wegman is back.
Trust me.
I make sure to remind the college football guys Dalton and Max at PFL.
Don't sleep.
All the time, the Connor Wegman is in fact slowly clear.
climbing his way back up to QB1.
I'd love it, man.
I hope he is.
One more, and then we'll jump into the quarterbacks.
Edward Hall, thank you for the super chat.
You had nothing to say, which is...
Just 99.
We're going to call you Mr. 99, Edward Hall.
I don't know why this made me thinking about this,
but an earlier chat that we had was somebody talking about Cracker Barrel.
What did they say about Cracker Barrel?
They said it fell off.
They said Cracker Barrel fell off.
And like a month ago, I went to Cracker Barrel and I'm going to be honest.
Man, it didn't hit like it used to.
That's so sad.
I haven't been in a very long time.
I always wonder, are things getting worse?
Yes.
Or are we getting older?
No, no, no, no, no.
Things are getting worse.
I agree with you.
For the longest time, I was like, yeah, you know what?
I'm probably getting older and like you just don't appreciate things the way you did when you were younger.
But no, things are getting crappier.
It's absolutely the problem.
It's true.
True. True. I got to go back to, I got to go back to, I almost say Connor Wegman. I do have to go back to Connor Weigman, but I also have to go back to Cracker Barrel to give it another fair shot. Table for two at Connor Weigman? Man, this Cracker Barrel film is something right now.
that's when you know you're real screwed up who's back first connor wagner cracker barrel
okay jacob waxman having elliose pizza recently things are getting much worse this i have
this is one of the things that made me think it a cut like two years ago elios pizza is like
a thing you remember as a kid a classic frozen pizza and i hadn't had it in at least 10 years
got one one weekend that I was on my own you know everyone fend for yourself kind of weekend
for the lads sucked wasn't good at all so yeah this is a yeah we we gotta get a handle on
this big ingredients is a huge issue right now dude big pharma big ingredients big tucks like
it's all just corporations yeah yeah that's it that's tough that's a tough showing I hate that
I hate that for you.
I really do.
Oh, my,
do you see,
I met with the $50 super chat.
Thank you, Matt.
Oh, my gosh.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for this.
The super chat is my two goats.
Trevor,
wash your hands.
Thank you guys for bringing the juice
every single week.
Chat.
We need an addicts link up live show.
Let's get this going.
Connor and I have some loose plans
to do some live shows at some point,
maybe sending around some of the NFL draft events
that we have.
coming up, maybe the draft itself, maybe the senior
bowl, something like that. We're trying to make it happen
because we've been doing this show too long
to not have a live show somewhere
where we get to meet you guys in person
because we would absolutely love to do that.
Thank you guys, honestly, for bringing the juice
every single week. That, it helps.
Yeah, I mean, Jack gets it going, man.
We bring the energy because you guys bring the energy.
We love you. We appreciate you. I cannot remember
who had this comment right before we started the show,
but they were like, wait, this podcast about football?
I thought we were just BSing.
And we laughed hysterically at that before we hit record.
And it's very true.
Dan and the chat goes, oh, God, they're planning.
I mean, I'm going to be honest to talk about you brought up the chat, bringing the Jews.
I agree.
We were talking right before the camera went on.
Full transparency, this is oddly the end of the week for Trevor and I.
Wednesday, this show, Wednesday evening is the last thing.
we do. Thursday is like a rare offish day or ketchup day. And then the week kind of starts to start
again when you get ready before Saturday and on and on you go. So this is oddly enough what
would be some people's like Friday kind of. Yeah, right. So I'm not going to lie when this is the last
show. I mean, you've had a tea time every Thursday basically for the last month and a half. You got to do it.
I'll go out there in the cold. Hold on everybody. This guy out here, they got, they sent him out on
his own they did you know how normally you sign up for a tea time and you get you get paired yeah
they get paired with somebody whatever this dude last week tells me he got sent out on his own the rarest
of ws the course to himself yeah i don't know why i walked in the clubhouse and i was like you've never
shot a better score in your life no by myself nobody saw it but yeah i broke 70 whatever i'm not
going to talk about it because no one was there but the last thing i'll say about this is about two months
ago i had the same thing happened where nobody was on the course i i went out and they they were just
like now go out nobody's here whatever on a par three i hit it to within like a foot a foot and
oh man thank god it didn't go in i was like thank god this isn't my first and maybe only holding one
i ever get my life he's probably only going to get one nobody would have believed me no nobody would
believe you. Nobody would have believed you. No. So that's, that's a, that's one of the rare
times you were happy. You didn't get a hole in one. It's very true. It's very true. All right, I see
some super chats. We would get to some super chats. Yeah, we're going to catch up on all of them for
sure. We, but let's get into the show. Let's get into the quarterback carousel and the
quarterback conversation that we have for the show. Connor, I will start with you. Where do you
want to begin this quarterback talk? Because I know that we've got a couple of guys, you know,
Lenore Sellers, John Matier, Carson Beck, Darien Mensa, which a lot of you guys have shouted out.
We got a lot of guys we want to get to today. Who do you want to start with here for the show?
Yes, I watched three quarterbacks for this episode.
We've been really on top of them all year.
I know you have all three that I watched and a bonus one.
That I've also watched as well, but I just think there's not as much to talk about with him.
I want to start with Lenora Sellers, who I do think there's plenty to talk about.
I think that, you know, honestly, Trevor, watching Lenora Sellers, especially last week,
but even the whole sample size this week, and not all of it.
I want to be very clear.
This is something actually you and I were texting about this week.
not all of it is his fault at all.
I want to be very fair
that the offensive line has been putrid.
The play calling is not very good.
The problem is,
I don't think he's gotten any better this year.
I think he's the same exact guy
in terms of processing and taking sacks
and refusing to throw the ball away.
I think the accuracy is still
not where it needs to be for an NFL prospect.
He's still a really exciting playmaker
where you see the size,
the athleticism, the ability to break out of the pocket, break a tackle, throw the ball down
the field.
But like the last thing in my, he took six sacks in this game against Oklahoma.
And some were completely on the offensive line.
There was times where it was like, ball snapped, cool, I'm getting devoured.
One of the, one of the, so I was actually in person for this.
That's right.
I forgot you were at this game.
Yeah, because my wife is doing the sidelines for this game.
And so I got to go.
And she let me out of the house.
This is one of the worst offensive line performances that I've seen.
And it's almost hard to blame South Carolina for this
because they've also had so many injuries on the offensive line.
They're on like O line 8, 9, 10, 11 at this point with the guys that are out there.
But I totally agree with you that behind this offensive line
and I don't think Mike Shul was doing the best job as offensive coordinator
when it comes to having a good game plan to sort of
mitigate the offensive line as best you can do things that might be best for sellers it just
it does not feel cohesive and the chemistry totally feels off here but sellers to your point
is still that hike drop back one read not open run your life i'm either running for my life
or i'm just becoming a runner voluntarily yep and and i that just that does not translate well
to the NFL. It's why his pressure to sack ratio is really high, but I didn't mean to sort of cut you
off in your analysis for it either. So I want you to keep going. No, I want to hear actually even more
from you on this game because you were there, but just me watching the tape, you know, there was
still a couple of those six sacks where he just refuses to throw the ball away. He'll spin out,
then he'll run back the other way, and he thinks he has the angle on the sideline and he doesn't,
or he tries to break a tackle and throw the ball. And I think it's the,
unfortunately you know poor combination of spiraling where it's like now the bad stuff is
compounding with him because the protection's bad and he feels like he has to be Superman
and he's forming or continuing to have bad habits and then just one play on the accuracy
that that really caught my eye it's the fourth quarter they're down there's eight minutes
and 36 seconds left it's first down he had this cheap shallow route
where if he just dumped the ball to the shallow wide receiver,
the wide receiver would have a lot of room to run.
And you're just trying to get a drive going at this point.
And he passed it up to hit the tight end that was also over the middle of the field,
just deeper.
And he just airmails the throw.
And it was one play,
but it was kind of encapsulating of just even when he has time,
that he's going for more and he doesn't have the accuracy in that moment.
where I feel bad for him because this has compounded,
but I think we're looking at Lenora's sellers transferring
and trying to rebuild himself.
Yeah, I don't know if he's going to transfer
because I do, I do think that he,
now I don't like have any insider information there.
I don't know if he's going to transfer.
Yeah, yeah, he told me specifically.
I'm not going anywhere.
I'm not leaving.
No, but I don't know if he's going to transfer or not,
but I am getting more and more confident that he is not in this class.
that he is going to be a 2027 NFL draft quarterback and look man no way yeah if no way
depending on on what quarterbacks are in this class right like dante more doesn't have to declare
so like if dante more's not in this class uh just from anna medosa have to declare no i don't
think so i think he's a registered junior i don't think he has to either so like like with signetti
coming back if he goes hey let's let's go for a national championship or someone to do the same thing
that Nussmeyer did,
Lenores might have the opportunity
to default be QB1
and maybe that's a top 10 pick.
I don't know,
but from the way he has played
and how the season has transpired,
I think he's going to be a 2027 quarterback
because I think you set it up completely correctly.
He has not improved this year
and the situation has not allowed him to improve.
So whatever you thought of him last year
in how raw he was as a pastor and a quarterback as a red shirt freshman.
That is the same exact thing right now.
And if you take him into the NFL right now,
you get worried about the Anthony Richardson stuff.
I'm not saying that he is Anthony Richardson,
but the lack of feel, the lack of urgency,
not being able to process things quickly enough.
If it's not sort of that in-rhythm timing throw,
he doesn't have a great feel for it,
the pressure to sack ratio is way too high.
and there just has not been that development from him.
So I know that the Anthony Richardson term or comp is sort of like the taboo,
like, oh, no, but I really do think that that's where we are with sellers to the point
where I just, I think he's coming back to school no matter where it is next year.
I think so too.
I don't think he'll be in this class.
I mean, obviously Ty Simpson has passed him.
So another player that has passed him.
So, yeah.
Matt's saying in the chat, McShay has said that he's a lock for the top.
10 recently on his pod.
And I don't agree.
But I think a lot of people feel that way.
I don't know why.
Sorry,
but like I don't I don't know why.
If you watch them every week this year,
I don't know how an NFL team would and I'm not shooting it down.
There's always all it takes is one.
How many times have we been surprised by a quarterback pick?
A million.
But man,
I just,
ooh, man,
I don't know how you take him in the top 50 with right now.
He's just so far away.
It's.
it would be hard for me to think
that the NFL is going to take him in the top 50
or sorry, in the first round, I should say,
or like the top 10, like McShay is saying,
it's hard for me to think that the NFL will want to do that
given the fact that, what was it just two years ago,
they took Richardson at six?
And it's like, okay, well, very clearly,
like he was not ready in that regard,
and you're just taking a massive risk at that point.
Anthony from Harlem in the chat just said it,
drafting sellers is drafting traits and not a player.
Yeah, I think that's a,
there you go, perfectly something.
great way to say it. I think that is a great way to say it.
Anthony, pull up a headset and I'm like.
Yeah, hop in.
Yeah. Um, okay.
So that's, that's sort of the seller's conversation. I think that, uh, just feels like we both feel like we're going to be talking about him again a year from now in next year's class.
All right. Who's next? Who you want to talk about next?
All right. Next up on the sheet here.
Oh, I almost went to my actual stockup, uh, players. How about Carson Beck?
How about him?
Well, obviously, this is the worst week to talk about Carson Beck coming off that loss of a little bill.
But to be honest, this is probably the most important week to talk about Carson Beck.
I completely agree.
I want you to start with this one because I started with sellers.
And then I'm going to drop some info nuggets on you that you're going to, I don't think you'll be surprised, but it is, it is eye popping.
Some info nuggets.
Like some comparables.
I have a, I have a tape.
Do you text your industry source again?
I am talking to people within the industry.
Within the industry.
This is just me perusing pro-Peteer focus.
He said pro-Peter football focus.
Yeah, PPF, wait.
Peter Pro.
By the way, did you see Pete?
He got in the chat right when we started.
Blu-Jew.
Yeah, he goes, thank God.
It just popped to Blu.
You guys are insane. We love you for it. Okay, Carson Beck. So, Miami plays Louisville last
Friday. Love a good premier college football game on a Friday. Let me tell you. I do love that.
You actually do, right? I actually do. There's no sarcasm involved there. I actually do. I do.
I do too because I'm not fun on Fridays anymore, so I don't miss them anymore. What was Carson Beck's
actual stat line here.
Because I have the PFF grades up right now.
I typed in Miami Louisville to Google,
and it gave me directions and drive time to Louisville.
By the way, it's 16 hours and 52 minutes from Miami to Louisville,
if you guys wanted to know that.
Nothing to it.
Yeah, nothing to it.
It's just pretty easy, breezy.
All right.
So Louisville ends up winning this game, 24 to 21.
Carson Beck was 25 for 35, 271 passing yards,
four, count them, four interceptions.
this game. Not great. What was tough about Carson Beck in this game is once again sort of the
narrative of what we have from him at this point from when he was playing well at Georgia in
2023 to when he struggled to Georgia in 24 and now again here at Miami. When things are on script for
Carson Beck, when he has the ability to get the ball out of his hand pretty quickly, when he can
diagnose the defense pre-snap, he is a good quarterback. But when that is not the case, that's when
he really struggles. So the three turnover-worthy plays out of, out of the, I think he had four
total. I think he did have four total turnover-worthy plays in this game. Three of them were
beyond 10 yards. Okay. So he's pushing the ball deep down the field, deep-ber down the field,
I should say, and that's where the turnover-worthy plays come. He has a 58.6 passing grade
this season when he is pushing the ball beyond 15 yards. So I expanded it to 15 yards.
but this is really the number that sticks out to me here Connor
41.8 passing grade
when his time to throw is over 2.6 seconds
when he has to hang on to the ball
and when his first and second read are not there
when how he saw the defense pre-snap
is not exactly what he thought it was
that's when things not only start to unravel
but really start to get dangerous
and he starts to put the ball in harm's way
He already doesn't really have that athleticism to be an escape artist and get those extra yards with his legs.
And so he tries to obviously continue to be a pocket passer as the half seconds roll on and the play is still going on.
But that feels like it's where he's at his worst and where you don't want to get carried away with how much you judge a quarterback when they are out of structure.
The great ones in the NFL, the ones that are worth, in my opinion, those first round picks.
and that franchise caliber type of path that they can take for you
is when you have the ability to make good decisions out of structure
and beyond what the original play called for.
To me, whether it's through distance down the field
or specifically time to throw,
that's where Carson Beck really struggles.
And it's hard for me, as pretty as it may look when it's going well,
it's hard for me to want to take that type of a player in the top 50
knowing that the second it starts to go wrong for him
it only gets more difficult at the NFL level
and that's where the danger really starts to come with him as a quarterback
you nailed it and the thing is Trevor we have seen enough of this
right to just kind of know where the ceiling is capped
I thought before I get into some of the numbers
I was highly disappointed after the game by his podium
I just don't.
Oh, I saw people say that he threw his wide receivers onto the bus.
I didn't get to watch the video, though.
They were asked about, in short order,
they were asked about the interception at the end,
and he just said it was the wrong route.
And it wasn't, I mean, it wasn't,
like he had a lot of time to elaborate on it,
and he really directly blamed the receiver.
That's not good.
And I've never seen a quarterback in the NFL,
you know, carry themselves that way.
That has success, successful quarterbacks in the end.
It just doesn't.
It was tough.
It was tough.
If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about,
try to try to watch it.
And it was, you know, it was pretty eye-popping.
To me, in terms of the player he is,
it almost feels like he's the same exact player from the 2020 season.
His big-time throw percentage that year was 4.1% this year.
it's 4%. His turnover worthy play percentage that year was 2.2% and this year it's 2.7%.
And then in 2023, his adjusted completion percentage was about 80.6% this year at 79%.
And then you look at this year, he's significantly better when kept clean, 8.9 yards per
attempt compared to 5.7 when under pressure. And in 2023, his numbers took a big dip when he
is pressured.
It was 9.7 yards per attempt when kept clean,
and it went down all the way to 7.5 when under pressure.
So,
like Carson Beck is the rare quarterback prospect that we have seen
exactly what he is right now.
Right.
No, I agree with you.
Would you say?
We have enough football of him.
Now it's two different places.
At this point, we've got three years.
And again, he, in his current form, he just feels like a good backup.
He feels like the type of quarterback.
who can come in a pinch, he can operate the offense when things are going well for him and
when he's kept clean, he can do some things for you.
But to be a franchise quarterback, to go out there every single week and specifically to
allow defensive coordinators to have all sorts of tape on you at what really bothers you
and puts you in tough spots as a quarterback, I just don't think anything over the last
three years has really told us that he is going to best some of the best defensive
of coordinators, not just in the NFL, but just in the world, right, who get these jobs as DC
is in the pros. So that's, I think it's, it's, it's tough to look at him as a top 50 pick is sort of,
it felt like he was maybe creeping back towards that with some performances this year, but this was
again, this was, this was sort of like the test for Carson Beck. And I, I felt like he did,
did not perform well here. And it's hard to think of him as a top 50 pick because of it.
What have we got next?
Next up, let's go with Dary and Mentsa.
Okay, yeah.
We've got a lot of questions about him.
We have the quarterback from Duke.
This is the quarterback from Duke, by the way.
I promised the audio listeners that we would be better at school and everything like that.
So Dary and Menson, the quarterback at Duke, talk to good people about him, Connor.
Yeah, so Mentsa was somebody that we watched over summer.
I'll pull up those notes first and then kind of talk about what I saw from the last couple games.
So I hadn't watched him since the Illinois game.
until this, where I got to see him against Georgia Tech and Cal and a couple other games.
So this was a good update on him.
He's a transfer quarterback from Tulane to Duke.
He's only a red shirt sophomore.
So Menta is far from a sure thing to declare.
I actually think he's very likely to go back, but he's still worth talking about,
six foot three, 200 pounds.
This is someone that over summer, I thought you could see that the ball placement on the short,
like catch and run throws was very, very good.
And Duke has taken that tape from Tulane
and really implemented it in their offense
where they run a lot of quick game.
They run a lot of screens.
They like crossers.
And Menta likes to play on time and get that ball out
and kind of get the ball in front of players
so they can kind of transition very quickly.
He does a good job keeping his eyes up,
scanning the pocket.
He likes to evade pressure more so with short area agility
rather than speed.
he can kind of like he can kind of dip and reset the pocket he's not somebody that when he
actually has to roll out and just run 100 miles an hour he's not a runner or really fast kind
of player um you know but something that's carried over Trevor from my summer notes to just now
he exerts a lot of force and do his deep throws it's he's a totally different player when
he has to throw the ball down the field mechanically like you watch him in the short intermediate
it throws. Everything looks pretty polished and the same when he's comfortable.
But you watch when he has to push the ball down the field. He almost heaves it. Like all of his body
kind of goes into it. Yeah, I noticed that at Tulane. And it was the first thing I noticed when
watching the last couple games of this season that, you know, and the accuracy outside the numbers
on those deeper throws just just isn't the same. I, he's just, he's a little physically limited right now.
I think he's playing very well.
He's playing fast.
He's accurate.
I think his play fakes are unbelievable.
He has some play fakes that he'll use the play action and tuck the ball.
And the linebacker will totally sell on it.
And then he'll take the ball out and throw the ball over the head of the linebacker.
It's wildly impressive.
He had one of those against, I believe, NC State this year where I was like, damn, you don't see a lot of that.
So I think he's a growing quarterback prospect that is.
I don't see, though, where he is physically why he would enter the draft this year.
Liam in the chat saying, word on the street is Mensa is a high IQ player.
Yeah, but is he, if it's word on the street, is he book smart or is he street smart?
Right, or both.
Or is he both?
Best in the world or both.
Liam, you got to get back to us on that.
You got to do some more research on it.
But no, we appreciate you giving us that little context there.
And honestly, you could see it with how he plays.
I do agree with you from, I would say like 20 yards in, very easy watch, fun watch,
enjoyable watch.
Point guard.
It really is.
And that's a great term of like him being a point guard.
Now, his average depth of target is still like right around like 10, 11 yards has been
over the last couple of years.
So it's not like he's just this total thinking down quarterback.
But he is better when he can be that point guard and a little bit of, I'll say a West Coast
offense, right, where it's these shorter, more methodical, okay, we're marching down
the field type of passes.
I noticed specifically this early on.
And then I sort of caught on of like, oh, okay, this is when he pushes the ball deep down the field is his throwing motion.
And I think just his throwing mechanics overall are pretty clean.
But when he's pushing the ball deep down the field, I agree with you.
He puts a lot of his body into it.
And here's a telltale sign, guys, to a quarterback that really has to put everything into it.
Watch the lower body mechanics.
Because for for quarterbacks that have the necessary arm talent to still be able to be poised and sort of, I guess I'll say like,
structure within what your throwing motion is the lower body will stay compact like it will stay
pretty close to what it is for those smaller passes but for mensa when he's pushing it down the
field i watch his leg kick out sort of like a pitcher like he's putting everything he can to
sort of give him that momentum because it's a like torque is a big part of what gives you a lot
of velocity on passes as well so if you don't command that sort of torque from your core and your
midsection, sometimes you want to conjure that momentum from your lower half and you sort of swing
your leg out to be able to give you a little bit more torque and turn and push on the ball. I do see that
with Mensa. And when that happens, that invites inconsistencies, ball placement inaccuracies,
things like that. So it's just something to watch for him. But I can understand why some of that,
why you guys really love to bring him up because he is, he's a smooth and easy, enjoyable
watch and his pf grades absolutely reflect that 85.0 passing grade last season and that was with a
4.0 turnover worthy play percentage this year that turnover worthy play percentage is all the way down to a 2.1
he's got a 91.3 passing grade so far this season he's got one two three games in which he has
graded over an 89 as a passer and he's got four games over 85 so he is fun to watch but as just a redshirt
sophomore, another guy that you'd probably be surprised if he ended up being in this class.
But a lot of guys in the chat have talked about him being more of a 2027 quarterback,
and I would agree with that as well. Me too. I know you had one more on our quarterback list today.
Wait a second. Matthew says whenever something sucks, my friends always says they went
corporate. And then D. Sauter said Carson Beck went corporate.
You went over to big talks? Well, I'm sure he got a nice little NIL
payday from the you i'm sure he did so maybe cars and beck really did go corporate maybe you went
corporate maybe we should think about going corporate just do the show suit and tie
peter's a corporation peter is a corporation you think he's a you think he's a c corp or an s corp
what do i i don't know you didn't i don't know i think he's a limited liability company
okay Peter Peter Peter's LLC yeah yeah PFF LLC you should pad that wait don't do that don't do that
big NFL SC okay John McIre I want to talk about John Matier here as the last quarterback because again I was
at the South Carolina Oklahoma game and so I got to watch both of these quarterbacks up close
and personal and we talked about how tall you think he is you were on the field so I kind of like
I walked past him
and it wasn't until I was already past him
that I was like, gosh, should have sized him up.
Six foot and three quarters?
I think he's probably around six foot.
Yeah.
Okay.
I think he's like six foot, six one.
Yeah, that's what we expected.
Meteer was much more controlled in this game.
He really didn't have to do a lot.
I don't know what his average step of target was off top of my,
oh, I mean, when you have a producer like the cook master.
Look at Tyler!
Just showing up, even when you don't even know he's going to show up.
The average you have to target in this game was a 4.1, which is, of course, a coward's number.
No, it's too harsh.
It's too harsh.
It kind of is, as much as we love, I love Mateer.
They really didn't need to push the ball too far down the field.
And so, like, I'm obviously just having fun saying that.
The script of the game was, hey, don't blow it.
And to be honest, they knew all the injuries that South Carolina had on their offensive
line specifically and how inconsistent that offensive line was.
I guarantee the game plan was just, hey, let's march down the field, let's get our first
downs, let's hand the ball off, let's get out of here with a win.
And to be honest with you, Connor, that is exactly what happened in this game.
Mateer did have the two turnover-worthy plays in this one.
You had a pretty high adjusted completion percentage, 74.1 is pretty good.
Only took one sack, but the time to throw number as well, 2.1, that's how you get an
average step to target of 4.1 is an average because you're getting the ball at your hands.
And an average of 2.1, which is insanely fast.
nuts the average in the NFL so you guys know is what 2.7 I think is what the average is at the
NFL level maybe 2.65 something like that yeah I mean if Justin Fields gets benched it goes the
average goes down to like 2.45 the average the average does go down um which maybe we'll
maybe we'll answer the he's like a 3-3-4 he is he is um for oh I was going to I was trying to
think of who it was. Tua, I think, is the fastest time to throw. Always. And he's like a two,
four. So again, just to let's give you guys context with the numbers and everything,
2.1 is unheard of fast. My main takeaway from that game was,
I don't know if Mateer has the armed talent that the NFL is going to covet to drafts in the top 50.
I don't. Now, he's still coming off the hand surgery.
Right, that's a tricky part.
It could, that absolutely could be part of it.
But he was much more of a facilitator in his overall armed talent from what I saw this past Saturday than he was somebody who I'm going to watch him rip it down the field in between, you know, where the linebacker and the safety is or with the safety coming downhill and you got to get it past the linebacker who's dropping or like the corners in, cover.
two the safety's over top of them you got to hit that whole shot right there like i think he can do
these things but i think the velocity on them i think completing them will be more about touch
and timing than they will be velocity from what i saw so that will be a very very big part of
how i evaluate john matere moving forward because again after seeing him in person i didn't think
it was a difference making type of arm talent and i that's sort of how i saw him when i watched him
over the summer.
Right.
And so there were already sort of questions about,
is he really NFL level arm talent type of a player?
Or is he just a really fun college football player with,
with how strong his arm is?
I came away,
not as impressed with what I wanted to be when it came to his overall arm talent in this
game.
Yeah,
it's tricky for Mateer because it felt like out of the gate this season.
Not only was he the Heisman frontrunner,
but he was really popping as a prospect.
I was really excited about him from summer to the first month of the season.
But you just, you do wonder what, like he, it's no coincidence to me that he looks like
a totally different player in two games since he came back absurdly early from an injury
that nobody thought he'd be back from.
And maybe the best thing is that just get right, get healthy, and grow another year
at a place that's a great program to play football at right now.
Yeah, yeah.
Why not?
And again, another quarterback that I don't know if he's in this class.
So we're talking about sellers may be going back,
Mateer's going back, we already think that Arch Manning's going back,
Dante Moore might go back, Fernando Medoza could go back,
there is potential for this quarterback class to be really thin now that NIL exists.
If we weren't in the NIL era,
I think there's a guarantee that most of these guys are probably going to come out
because the NFL would have coveted them enough to draft them around the top 50
or just with some allurement of teams needing quarterbacks.
But now that these guys can make a whole lot of money in college,
if they're not where they want to be as NFL prospects,
I could absolutely see a lot of these guys going back.
I really could.
Yeah, it's going to be interesting because you figure somebody tries to capitalize on a thin class.
Yes.
It's just a matter of the game of who is it going to be.
Who is it going to be?
So we're all wondering.
Okay, we're going to, we're going to rattle off a bunch of the super chats that we got there before we get into some of the three stock up, stock down players.
Connor, I'll have you go through the super chats as I, you know, say to people, hey, there's some things the school didn't teach you, right?

Let's run through some super chats here.
All right, let's do it.
Edward Hall, back on it.
Thank you, Edward once again.
Best Pod and the Biz.
As we see Steelers Camp Comp picks fall by the wayside,
what draft eligible quarterback best fit the Steelers not on the current roster?
what best draft eligible quarterback
kind of depends on what they want right
like they experimented a little bit
with the rushing element like with Fields
last year and obviously Fields
Fields wasn't who they wanted him to be
as a passer
very like I wonder if like
a Sam Levitt comes to mind for them
obviously like Lenora
sort of like we talked about if he's in this class
I wonder if like a Cade Clubnik
they would like Clubnik
I don't think you're drafted Club Nick
in the first round
but maybe a little bit later
I wonder if that's the case
Ty Simpson obviously we've talked about
I think Ty Simpson would be great
for the Steelers or any team
but yeah that would be my answer to that
yeah we'll definitely do more on this too
for the like the second third four tier
of quarterbacks and where they go
because as you pointed out Edward it's
you know the Steelers are winning games right now
so they're not going to be in the conversation
to the guys we find ourselves talking about so much
unless they make a big trade up.
The next one from Spencer Heim finally get to catch a show live.
Mariners fan here still in shambles,
but I know the show will pick me up, Go Ducks.
I'm sorry, Spencer.
Man, I feel you.
I feel you.
One of my good friends is a Mariners fan,
and I felt so bad for all those people.
Congratulations to the Toronto fans.
It was an unbelievable series.
I just know the M's fans have been waiting so long,
and I could just see the pain.
It's tough.
Baseball is a brutal, brutal.
post-season to lose like that.
It's just so long
the season.
There's so much hopelessness with when you
lose a baseball game. You know what I'm saying?
I think that's the biggest issue.
It's such a, it's a slower
sport, you know? So it's
like, it's
one pitcher who is determined, or like literally one guy at
bat who might be the last three outs
of the season. And you go, well,
whole rest of the team doesn't matter now.
literally just this one guy.
Right.
It's such a,
it's so brutal when you lose in baseball postseason.
Yeah.
So we feel it for you, man.
Andrew Crane, Tyson,
four catches on nine targets,
15 yards,
versus Snowden and a PVU for Stone
before the Tyson injury.
Snowden,
big time performance, man.
Check out the Snowden.
He's got the numbers.
I have him like as a fringe top 100 player right now.
Let me be clear.
I'll catch up on him.
But he's been kind of used all over the place.
I got to watch this stuff against Tyson.
Carson $5 said the dolphins are going to fire the prodigal grandson with Chris Shula to fix the franchise.
Oh, the Dolphins.
That would be something if they hired Chris Shula.
It would be something.
Hire Mike Shula, you know.
Good for the Carolina for some killing.
Tony Lee says World Series prediction.
As a Canadian, I'm a huge blue game.
Oh, there we go, Tony.
It's been a fun year for me, loving the baseball playoffs.
Sorry, Connors Mets let you down this year.
That's okay.
I don't mean, I would love to see the Blue Jays win it just because...
I'm rooting for the Blue Jays.
I'm always like a not the juggernaut team.
Always.
However, she always the goat.
I know.
So however many accolades that he can get to get recognized as the best baseball player of all time,
I'm all for that, to be honest with you.
Yeah, I am not rooting for the Dodgers at all.
I'm rooting for the Blue Jays by far.
usually I'm pretty neutral with World Series
unless a Mets Division rival is in it,
but yeah, I'm rooting for the Blue Jays pretty hard this year.
Also, I'm so tired
and baseball is entering CBA negotiations a year from now.
I'm so tired of, like,
everyone crying about the Dodgers that I want them to lose
just to show that a non-spending powerhouse can beat them.
Can do it?
Yeah, it's just, it's ridiculous.
All right, and your niece.
Ephesians Prize sock, a sleeper with Ticario Davis.
Ephesians prize stock has more real estate on this show than any other prospect.
He does. He does.
Ephesians.
Ephesians.
Yes.
I was going to, I was going to correct you there.
Correct myself.
I'm all about better, better health.
There we go.
Yeah, there you go.
Remy Lagoet.
What a name.
Damn, what a name.
Remy Lagoz.
Do you guys think my Raiders blow it up in the off season again?
Also, what quarterback prospect fits best with us?
Hashtag 23 year toxic relationship.
We'll get to fix your franchise for the Raiders and we'll get to
talk about all that short answer is no i don't think they blow all of it up i really don't i think
can be there for a little bit now i think they might move on from chip kelly and gino smith i agree
that's where you'll we'll we'll talk about fixture franchise when we get there spencer five
dollar super chat appreciate you i'm actually absolutely sure that you've talked about it
connor but what are your thoughts on woody johnson throwing jets or justin field's uh in front
of a train going 300 miles an hour it doesn't matter how poorly the player is played you just you just don't
do that you can't do that
You can't do that for a lot of reasons.
One, it's wrong to do to the player.
Two, it puts the coach in a really bad spot who hadn't made up his mind on who
was starting a quarterback this week.
And it's a bad message to send to the locker room because no matter what you think of
Justin Fields and how poorly he's played, a lot of guys in that locker room like Justin
Fields and I know he's doing everything he can to be better.
So wildly disappointing in a jet season that you wake up and you go, well, their own seven,
how can't get worse today.
And you log on Twitter in two hours and it got worse.
Two more, real quick. Anthony $10 super chat said, Trevor, I will never forget to hear me out series on how Joe Douglas should have kept Sam Darnold and traded Zach Wilson pick.
And yet here we are evaluating QBs before Halloween again.
Shout it to the Hear Me Out series and everybody who helped put that on over the draft network.
Those things were a ton of fun to do.
I think you guys could still go watch that.
They should still be up.
And then DeSauder $10 super chat.
Here before the sellers lagway, Justin Fields and Anthony Richardson run to the NFL and put the QB to tight.
pipeline full systems go thank you tason hill and philippe franks for starting hashtag the movement
philippe franks people forget gator great that's right folks okay gotta get one more in one more
okay what's the one more spencer he again carson beck treats the ball like a grenade the longer he holds it
the more he panics it's not crazy not bad it's kind of me with battlefield you know you sit there and
you cook it and then you go wait a second where's this going wait wait wait and then you
and then you blow up and then you need your own medic all right Connor um stock up stock down
who's your first guy you're bringing to the table here first guy for me and I'm going to go back
to back wide receivers but the one I want to start with is a household name it's carnell tate
the wide receiver from Ohio state oh man is he good he is unbelievable I did a tape breakdown on
him for NBC's YouTube channel this week.
And here's the thing with Tate, because for a player to be stock up that we talked about
and highly regarded over the summer, they have to actually have their stock going up.
I think Tate, Trevor, is played himself from a fringe first round wide receiver to
a top 12 to 15 pick at this point.
I think that I think the people would agree with you with how they wanted Carnell
Tate with the, oh yeah, with the Titans pick when they traded back in the matchoff.
if we did him on one day.
That's a great callback.
Man, you watch the film.
This guy really has it all.
He's got the size.
They play him at every alignment.
The shot play against cover two that saying hit him on in the end zone for the touchdown
where he went above the rim.
He was lined up in the slot tight to the formation on that play.
His ability to go to climb the ladder and win the ball,
it's so natural to him.
The way he plucks the ball out of the air with his catch radius is just,
It's so clean and super smooth.
And I think he's explosive enough into his routes.
He can slam on the brakes and redirect and change direction.
And I'm so impressed with this guy, man.
I think he could do it all.
And I think he's shown like, hey, and you see the zero drops on 41 targets.
Everybody went to the season talking about Jeremiah Smith.
But this is the guy that's trapped eligible.
And this is the guy.
You know me, Trevor.
I love size at wide receiver, these big X wide receivers.
Size does matter to you.
Size does matter.
to me and carnell tate's got it yeah look i i think that tape when we watched him over summer scouting
he maybe wasn't as twitchy and as explosive as an athlete as i wanted him to be but
even if that part is true who he is beyond that is pro level i mean what he does with his feet
the route running how reliable he is at the catch point like all of this is just to a t pro
level difference making. He has been fantastic this season. And so even if he's not like the
best athlete that you're going to have in this class or the best athlete at the wire receiver
position in the NFL, he just, he wins in so many ways that, yeah, I think that he is
absolutely a first round caliber prospect. It's just a matter of where you're drafting him
in the first round. So, uh, I want to talk about Mackay Levin. I got to talk about McKay Levin.
There's a couple of guys that I was super high on going into the season that I wanted to talk about
here on today's show. So Lemon
versus Notre Dame
he did not have his best game. And as you guys
can see there, this past weekend,
62.2 receiving grade. This is the
USC wide receiver, by the way. Of course, I'm trying to say that we're going to be
better at that. He had a 57.8 overall grade, so it was lower
than receiving grade. That's because they did a trick play where he was
sort of running and could have thrown it, but then didn't, and then the
ball fell out of his hands and he fumbled it. It was very odd
play. It's just not going to go well in your grading anytime you're doing
that. And it was very wet, by the way, on that play. And I do want to say this. He was matched up
against Leonard Moore, the cornerback from Notre Dame, who Leonard Moore is 6'2, 195 pounds. He's a
true sophomore for Notre Dame, and we will be talking about Leonard Moore as a top 10, if not
top five overall pick in next year's class. He is unbelievably talented. And they put Leonard
Moore, this bigger, longer corner, in the slot to mirror Mackay Lemon.
So I want to give Leonard Moore his props there.
However, I watched all of Michael Lemon's receiving snaps in this game.
He still got open.
He still won.
Like, he was still a really good indifference-making wide receiver in this game.
He was able to win very quickly off the line of scrimmage.
His hand usage to stay clean and win on those quick slants or quick outs.
That all was there from him, that quick separation.
The one big catch that he had, he was able to get a ton of yard.
after the catch in that regard.
So, Mackay Lemon is,
this game should not have changed your perception
of what you think of Mackay Lemon and how he wins.
Now I will say this.
The game was one where it amplified
one of the weaknesses I have with Mackay Lemon,
and that is the fact that when he wins very quickly
off the line of scrimmage versus press,
whether that's with his feet or his hands
or a combination of both of these things,
he will normally create that immediate separation and throwing window but then against the better
corner specifically against Leonard Moore he might not continue to create that separation because
the long speed for him might not be as good as it is for other wide receivers so he is very
much in my opinion a slot separation stud he'll create that early throwing window for you he'll
win clean off the line of scrimmage against press he can do a ton of different things for you and he can
even get you those yards after catch. But if you want him to win early, create that separation
and then continue to create that vertical separation down the field, he's not going to do that
against any corner. Slower corners, yes, he could. But against a top tier guy like Leonard Moore,
that was the takeaway, in my opinion. He still won at a very high level. He still looked like
a pro receiver in a lot of ways. But that is where Leonard Moore really got the better of him,
is he was able to stay in phase and catch up to Mackay Lemon on a handful of those plays
where he was asked to run deeper down the field.
So that was my overall take on Lemon, who I still love in this class.
I still think he's a stud, but it really showed, okay, here's both the strength and weaknesses
of him from what we saw in this past game.
It's a great breakdown and a really good point.
And listening to the Notre Dame coaches talk all week about it.
And a lot of the, you know, obviously this was our big Saturday night game.
like this was the focal point right here they were not going to let mckell lemon be the reason
they were going to lose this game or USC was going to hang around this game and the fact
that he drew the attention of leonard more speaks volumes that the kind of threat he is but you're
absolutely right trevor it was the first time of the season he felt human i think yes yes true
that's very true football analysis in the chat who we love you guys don't you know follow
everything football analysis does on on his youtube channel please go do so you
creates fantastic content as well.
It's a little citrus pro compass Amon Rae St. Brown in my opinion.
And I think that some people might look at that as like, oh, they both went to USC.
They're both small.
But to be honest with you, I see a little bit of it.
Now, what makes Amon Ra St. Brown so good is just his preparation, the IQ, all that kinds
of stuff.
But a level of winning in similar ways, maybe not the total production because Detroit's just
an absolute wagon on offense.
But how they win in similar ways, I could absolutely see.
that there. Somebody in the chat said, were we sold a lemon? No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
We're not going there. And then D. Saunders said, uh, Mackay Lemon implies the existence of a
Mackay lime. Kind of makes you think. Kind of does make you think. Okay, who's next for you?
Jeremy Bernard. I said there would be back to back wide receivers. Yeah. The wide receiver out of
Alabama, who as you see right here, 6-1-204, the number that I love right here is zero drops and
45 targets. He just is so, so reliable for this Alabama offense. He is someone to me that
he can manufacture yards after contact, after the catch. He's become a bit of a safety blanket
for Ty Simpson in this offense. Ty can kind of lean on him. And he's already generated 16
explosive plays this season. I don't think he's this dynamic explosive player without the ball on
his hands, but he's just found a way to be such a reliable presence in the intermediate for
this team. And to me, Trevor, he kind of plays a little bit like Jarvis Landry to me.
Dude. You see it? I love it. Yeah. I like I was. Because I agree. I've been trying,
I've been trying to put my finger on a player at the pro level that I like that isn't necessarily.
like this great athlete type of a dude exactly and i think that's what was jarvis i got i got to look
up his measurables now i love his 40 was hilarious but please do but yeah that's what jeremy bernard
reminds me of is that he's not going to win the combine you're not going to turn on the tape and be like
who was that but you're going to watch you're going to kind of grind game by game and be like
they lean on this dude he's always in the right spot he catches everything
he's tough after the catch he's a physical player with him without the ball the quarterback trust him
I'm a big fan I'm a big fan and I think he's somebody that I don't I expect him to kind of
stay underrated throughout the draft process he'll probably go in the third round or whatever
it may be and then all of a sudden flash forward a year from now and be like oh jeremy bernard's
the the number three receiver for a pretty good team and he's out there already as a rookie
making plays and why did nobody care
about this guy? Yeah,
somebody in the chat was saying that they
think more Brandon Ayuk for
Jeremy Bernard. Possibly
although I think Iyuk's got more
juice in what he does.
Really, I know the injuries.
He didn't test super well if I remember correctly,
at least from a 40 perspective, but I think
he ran a 4 or 5. Yeah, his play speed's always
been faster. Dude, but he had a 40
inchvert. Yeah, he was
and I don't quite think that that's Jeremy
Bernard. By the way, Jarvis Landry, all-time bad combine. Dude, horrendous. So first of all,
511 and a half, 205. So if Jeremy Bernard's kind of like right around like six foot where he's
listed, I mean, the comp kind of stands from a size perspective. Although Jarvis Landry did have
longer than 10-inch hands, which that's 94th percent out for the position. Okay, get this. You
ready for it? Was it a 472? No, no, no. We're not talking about like Isaac Nauta here. We're not
talking about like that. What a poll. Yeah, I'll never forget it. What's wrong with you?
I will, I will, I will, I will read Isaac Nottis next. Hold on. So this is Jarvis Landry,
10 yards split, 165, third percentile, 40 yard dash, 458. That was 22nd percentile.
Vertical jump. A lot better than I remember. Vertical jump, 28 and a half, first percentile.
Yeah. Broad jump, 110 inches, second percentile. Three con drill, seven five five, first
percentile 20-yard shuttle
457 second percentile
so you have a third percentile
10-yard split a first percentile
vertical jump a second percentile broad
a first percentile three cone and a second
percentile 20-yard shuttle
I mean
that's remarkable
dude okay
so at the combine
I think your 40 is from his pro day
from his pro day yeah dude he ran a
four seven seven at the combine
he did yes I knew I wasn't
crazy.
I'm pretty sure they was in the,
I know it was in the four sevens for sure.
And once again, it's so amazing that none of this mattered.
No.
No, it really didn't.
So he apparently pulled his hamstring.
Hmm. Okay.
But I mean, yeah.
Are you ready for Isaac Nautas?
Yeah, this is unreal.
This is actually not as bad percentile-wise,
but Isaac Nauda, uh, incredible receiving.
tight end six foot three uh and a fourth two hundred forty four pounds four nine one 40 yard dash he's
still running it right now vertical they never stopped them vertical jump of 28 inches six
percent out for a receiving tight end four nine one 28 inch bird hate to see it yeah it's a tough
scene anything else more on germy no uh i really like this player and i'm a shout out to
everybody for weeks that has been asking for more on him.
Okay.
Another guy that I watched in person this past weekend that I wanted to,
that I wanted to shout out because I saw a lot of people talking about him.
I've seen some people talk about him throughout the year.
Grace's Holt and the defense tackle from Oklahoma.
I thought he had a pretty good game against South Carolina.
He is such a high effort player that he was in the backfield that felt like all the time
or at least making some disruption on the line of scrimmage.
So he's a DT for Oklahoma, but as you can see there,
He's 6-2-292 pounds, so he's sort of this undersized defensive lineman type of player
who can move from edge rusher to defensive tackle, but his style is that of more of an
interior player.
He has 72.3 overall grade with 72.2 pass rush grade this past week against South Carolina
with one sack and four hurries.
I think I love the urgency in which this guy plays.
I think when it's all clicking for him, it can keep himself pretty clean.
The hands move decently fast.
and as a one gap penetrating defensive lineman,
I think he's got some value as a rotational player at the NFL level.
Now, the drawbacks on him,
I think he's got shorter arms,
so it makes it more difficult for him to get off a blocks,
for him to wrap up for tackles when he gets into the backfield.
He still lacks that mass, in my opinion,
to be an every down defensive tackle.
But even as sort of that tweener defensive lineman type of a guy,
I do think that he has some value,
as a late round, like when I say late round, I mean,
I think probably like six, seventh round type of a thing
as a rotational defensive lineman for a defensive line
that likes to rotate their guys consistently,
but also likes to stay multiple in what they do.
So as long as he is in an attacking style
where you're not putting him in a spot where he's going to face a lot of double
teams and he can sort of shoot gaps and have that freedom in that regard,
I do think he can be a juice player for you
and somebody who can give you a handful of snaps every game
and certainly give it their all.
So that was my thoughts on Grayson Halton, the defensive tackle from Oklahoma.
Tyson Madding in the chat says, is Grayson halting the run game?
No, no.
I kind of wish he was.
I wish he was.
That's the problem.
That would make it easier.
Yeah, that would make it easier.
All right, my last one here.
Did I say six, seven?
I guess you did because the chat.
Apparently this is a thing you do quite a bit.
I know I said it the other week and everybody, they absolutely did not let it go by.
No, they did not.
Brandon said Grayson Halton, poor man's Osa, a Dijizua.
Oh, Digizua, yeah.
Yeah.
Uh, maybe.
I'd have to stew on that.
Henry said you guys ignored Beck all season.
Of course, this is the week you talk about it.
No, hold on.
Whoa, whoa.
We absolutely have not ignored Carson Beck all season.
Like two or three Stockwatch episodes ago, we specifically did.
specifically did a segment in which is he Carson back?
I remember doing that specifically.
Yes, you're right. We did not. Henry, come on. You got to keep up with the catalog.
We appreciate you watching. We really do. My last one, Logan Jones, the center for Iowa.
He, this is his fourth straight year as Iowa's starting center.
He, I believe he's, he's now surpassed 40 starts. He's surpassed. I think he's played almost
2,300 snaps on this offense. Dude, Trevor, the,
run game finishes against Penn State or out of this world.
That's what he lives for.
He's so athletic.
He's been a Feldman guy before.
If anybody wants a refresher,
let me pull up Logan Jones from,
I believe, yes, so right?
Yeah, so Feldman had said before that he has the Iowa squat record of a 695 pounds.
He's clocked a 153 10 yards split,
which would be an Iowa offensive line record.
I didn't think about the talent they've had there and a 409 shuttle.
And honestly, I don't know if he's going to hit these numbers,
but when I watch him on tape,
this dude's an insane athlete for the center position.
He gets out of the gate, you know, with a jetpack on him.
It's, and the way he can climb to the second level
and just absolutely detonate linebackers is so fun to watch.
And I know you've talked a lot about Jennings Dunker.
I'll talk about him more in a sec.
Yeah.
When you watch this team,
block. These guys are well coached. They're good athletes. They fly around. They look to finish their
blocks. And Logan Jones, man, you love a center that has all that, all those years of starting
experience. So another player that's gone really, really under the radar, despite being a damn
good football player for definitely the last two seasons. I know he had to kind of grow into the
role the first two years, but this is two full years now, very good tape. Yeah. Would he be a fringe
top 100 guy for you? Yes. He would. Yeah.
Yeah, after this watch, I was like, okay, he's, yeah, I'd probably have him somewhere from 80 to 100.
What's the wrestling background for him?
I don't remember.
We've talked about him before because I had notes from last year's tape.
He, no, I got to look this up because I felt like it was, I felt like it was really impressive.
Or maybe I'm thinking of a different offensive linemen.
won the state title and the shot put and the discus as a junior okay yeah he's a converted
defensive lineman too i think in ice school we played defensive and defensive tackle and
offensive tackle it's just where do you play get the ice bat ready mom on the line of
scrimmage when do you come off the field i don't never absolutely never it's probably
long snapping too paper wave said did you guys finally cover kyle uh lewis for the linebacker
Pitt. So did we do a, do we do a stock up on him yet? No, we mentioned him last week because I
believe it was paperwaves that asked about him about 45 times. Okay. All right. We,
well, he deserves a shout out. So I, I will try to get him on the show, um, to talk about the
stock up there because he was, he was somebody who I was really intrigued with. And I, I had him as a
top 100 linebacker before the season began. And then they started a little slow. And he's
really undersized.
So he's going to sort of be a scheme dependent kind of a linebacker anyways.
But he's flying around.
And I really do.
I think pound for pound,
he plays pretty strong as a linebacker.
So that's just a little bit of an appetizer on it.
But we can dedicate a full segment to him.
Yeah.
Next week when I remember.
Okay.
Jennings Dunker.
Let's stay with Iowa and let's talk about Jennings Dunker, my guy.
I saw Brandon Thorne talking about Jennings Dunker,
getting to get to his film.
That's what you know.
he's now mainstream on Twitter yeah yeah and Brandon Thorne if you guys don't follow him on
Twitter and please do you absolutely do he is just one of the best in the business especially
when it comes to evaluating trench play not only covers the NFL but the NFL draft he's got a
substack trench warfare that is just fantastic I mean it's it's just invaluable stuff about
learning what really works in the trenches what guys are really good at why schemes are important
different types of offensive line and defensive line techniques he's fantastic so go
follow of his stuff. He was tweeting a little bit about him and we were going back and forth a
little bit and Brandon said, Brandon was saying he feels like Jennings Dunker is more of like a fun
player than a good player necessarily. And I can see how he comes to that conclusion because
even where I have Jennings Dunker and what we talked about him this summer, it's a lot of
projection stuff because the whole time I've talked about him being one of my favorite guys in this
class potential wise. But even then, I've always said it's not a tackle. So if you're evaluating
him at all as an offense to tackle, I can understand why you don't love him there because he does
have a lot of inconsistencies. And I think the biggest issue with him and why here on this show,
I would actually, the reason why I'm bringing him up is I think he's a little bit of a stock
down candidate for me even from where I had him in my top 10 is because the areas where I wanted
him to get better, he hasn't really. He's kind of just the same guy that he was last year. Now,
is it going to be much different with him playing the same position and me projecting him
as an inside guy? Maybe not. But I thought last year, the high-impact plays were the run-blocking
plays where if he got you in between the shoulders and he got his hands inside, I mean, he was
driving you either to the sideline or to the ground. He was taking you completely out of the play.
Those still exist. But the plays that I didn't love from last year's tape that still exist
and this year's tape are he struggles to line you up still when he's in space,
which I don't love, which sort of go into why I don't think he's a tackle.
I think lack of arm length goes into that a little bit,
but so does just overall coordination and specifically balance.
I think he was, I thought he was a little bit too on his toes with his weight last year.
He still is this year.
When climbing to the second level, he's sometimes a second late to be like,
ah, shoot, I should have been over to this linebacker.
I should have stepped this way.
that still exists this year
and the real biggest issue that I have with him
is
for whatever reason
he lets guys roll off of his blocks
too often
and it's strange for me to see that as a guy
who you watch some of his reps
where he just pile drives
into the ground and to the sideline
but there are other reps where you could tell
he tries to get low he tries to get that leverage
he's got his hands inside and you can see like
okay now the feet start moving the feet start moving he is just starting to leg drive and press these
dudes away from the line of scrimmage and sometimes they'll just go whoop and they'll roll right off of
him and he'll kind of like keep going and maintaining those blocks without holding i think is going to be
really paramount but for me a lot of the struggles that i saw for him last year that i hoped would get
a little bit more reliable and mitigated this year i haven't seen that so dunker's going to be
a little bit of a stock down guy for me even though i still think he could be a really good guard at the
next level those inconsistencies still exist with them do you think some of that is the the arm length
which we know is very short yes very very short yes yes and this would have been the year of like hey
if he can if he can overcome that i feel like we would have seen baby steps at least in that direction
and right i just don't know if we have so i sort of when you evaluate a guy during the summer
we talked about this when we did summer scouting potential is baked into it a lot and
And then when you go through midseason and end of season evaluations, you kind of have
to just take the players more so as they are, knowing that they can continue to grow when
they get to the NFL level, but it's a little bit less about potential and more of sort
of what they've shown you, especially if they're a multi-year starter.
Without a doubt, that's a good way to put it.
Yeah.

we appreciate you i love it g r sup fellas hope you're doing well any early thoughts on cj car wildly
impressive. I know he's missed some
throws at times, but for as young as
he is, all the talent is there.
You see the arm, you see the command
of the offense. I think his
demeanor has actually impressed
me the most. He's very, very tough.
C.J. Carr is going to be a big
deal in the draft world when we get there.
Do the next one because my, the next round after
that is me specific. Eli Berkovitz,
friend of the show. Thank you. I know you guys
are relieved. I know you guys are relieved not to
have a Packers first round pick this year, but can
we discuss some realistic day two options?
is probably a corner or a defensive tackle.
Chris Johnson from San Diego State University,
I think should be on their radar as somebody who is a cornerback
who I think could really help out that team.
He is playing really well this season.
I would absolutely check him out.
Chandler Rivers, the corner from Duke,
Keith Adney, the corner from Arizona State,
like DeAngelo Pons, the corner from Indiana,
although if they stick to the thresholds,
they probably won't want to.
But Dailen Everett, the cornerback from Georgia,
he'll fit the bill you know so yeah i like it next up oh yeah uh julius one on nine super chat
trevor you like lane kiffin is uf's next hedge coach or someone else i think lane should be their
number one um you think he'd leave for them i don't know i don't i really don't know uh i think
that he has had a ton of success at old miss yeah i don't i don't know if there's a reason for him
to leave old miss to be honest with you i think that he his leverage starts in a dollar sign but
Yeah.
Well, but,
but Ole Miss is going to match it.
I would think so.
Ole Miss is going to match it.
Not like he's coming from Toledo.
Right.
No,
it's,
it's,
it's not like he's going to be making
five more extra million dollars a year
if he goes to Florida.
And if Florida outbids him,
it's going to be by like what,
like one,
maybe two million dollars a year,
but I can't even see the gap being that big.
It really is just going to come down to whether or not he'd want to leave
Old Miss,
which I agree.
After that,
uh,
I'd love Kenny Dillingham.
But.
Oh,
Kenny is the dream.
But he,
I think he's just, I think Arizona State is in his blood.
He's not going to leave, unfortunately.
The guy is a throwback.
Yeah, he's not going to leave.
Eli Drinkowitz, I wouldn't mind drink.
I think drink could succeed at Florida.
See what he does with Florida's resources if we get to that point.
But it's not really a home run higher now that Signetti's back.
Signetti was by far and away my number one, far and away.
And now he's back in Indiana.
Yeah.
Another throwback coach.
Yep.
Chob said Goatmire.
Luke Goatmire.
falls to day two after being consensus number one.
John's been in the chat.
I say,
I don't really know what this means.
He's been coming up the Luke Altmire slash Goatmyer agenda,
I think, for the last couple of weeks.
Does Chauve have on swimming goggles in that picture?
Yeah, yeah.
Nice, Jeff.
Yeah.
Jonathan with the $2 super chat says,
AKA they don't want to get drafted by the Jets at one.
Oh, I think this was the quarterback conversation about all these guys going back.
Yeah.
Very good.
uh chase davis who is a player for each of you
it says theater but that you think needs should go back to school and why can't use the
quarterbacks that's a good one
why don't we think of some guys that have fallen for me i wonder if i wonder if kenyon
siddique is one of them interesting just because like he hasn't had a ton of production
yet right but i guess he doesn't have to to be no i just like the production just
has not been there for him.
Here's one for you, Trevor.
Yeah.
How about Caleb Lomu?
Oh, I was about to say Spencer Fano as well.
Utah, get both your tackles back.
Yeah, basically a lot of these offensive lines is probably the answer to that question.
Move $5 Super Chat said if the Jets traded down this year and drafted Bain then took Super
Sayan, that's Julian saying the quarterback from Ohio State and Jeremiah Smith next year,
do they win more than five games?
Incredible plot twist at the end.
Not in heaven, I hope so.
It's crazy.
Same plot twist at the end of that question.
Move basically asking if the 2007 undefeated New England Patriots just happen to be playing
for the Jets, do they win more than five games?
Oh my God.
That's where Jets fans are.
I love the plan move.
Sign me up right now.
Sayin is, he's quite good.
He's very good.
And I'll tell you right now, I think Bain and Jeremiah Smith are going to be elite pros.
So Cameron Collins.
Connor, how are we feeling about the Knicks this year?
Also, Yabusele is apparently 283 pounds.
Can he play edge?
We need all the center depth we can get right now because we're always injured at center.
So let's keep him on the Knicks.
I feel good about the Knicks, man.
And I never have said that phrase in my life before season.
I'm not kidding.
Yeah.
So I know the East is still going to be really competitive.
But like if you can't feel good about them and their chances in the East this year,
I don't know when you can.
Okay.
We'll go two more here.
$5 Super Chat.
Jets to trade for Russell Wilson and extend Michael Clements.
I love it.
That's a genius plan.
Very good.
Next up, Trevor Jay.
Shout out to a new name, not in the BFF big board.
Gaffa Faga, aka the managram,
6-3104-pound San Jose State and tiered defensive linemen
has 27 pressures of 15.8% pass rush,
win rate and held his own against Texas.
is your great shout-out.
I like it.
I will,
I am now awoken to the managram.
What is the man-gram?
The man-agram.
The man-agram, Gaffa-Faga.
I don't know what that.
I have no idea what that is.
But it is awesome.
What is he,
six, seven?
No, he's not even.
Uh,
okay,
we'll do the rest of super chats,
uh,
when we run,
after we run through our new names for the show.
Connor,
who is your new name for this show?
Uh,
meet Cody Hardy,
the other tight end at NC State.
I mean
Other than Big Christmas?
Yes.
Now this fella, like,
picture Big Christmas as the John O'Smith.
Cody Hardy is the Darnell Washington.
Okay.
Here.
267.
Yeah, this lad, and he is 267.
They are not lying on the listed height,
6'4 and weight 267.
He is out there to do one thing.
I didn't catch a touchdown recently,
and he's not a zero in the past game,
but he is out there to ask.
absolutely kill you as a blocker, as both a past blocker and a run blocker.
He's the best run blocking tight end I've watched this year.
I love the size.
He constantly puts defenders in the dirt.
He shines when they run counter, power, and really just their man blocking concepts.
They get this guy on the move and the violence that he plays with.
And he is the classic, I am going to play until they rip me off of you kind of player through
the whistle all the time.
I definitely talking a lot of trash.
This guy, I love his style of playing.
He's a transfer from Elon, and he's making the most of it.
This is someone that, man, like, you watch the tape of him in the trenches and this dude
brings it.
I love to hear it.
The newest member of the Hardy Boys, Cody Hardy.
Oh, my gosh.
That's elite.
Yeah.
So he's putting offenses through a table or defense.
to through a table, excuse me.
Yeah, he's a linebacker's worst nightmare.
But even, like, watch him against D-Ns,
and I'm like, he's like moving 290-pound defensive ends,
this guy.
Yeah, a real prospect.
Who was, um, Jackson Hawes from last year's club?
Yes, that great callout.
That's exactly how they use him.
Matt, Matt Curran in the chat says,
we're NC State fans, my wife gets so hype
whenever 44 gets on the field.
Your wife knows ball.
Wife knows ball, man.
When they put 44 on the field, it's like, oh, here comes the wrecking ball.
It's crazy.
Jimmy says Cody Hardy is the Jackson Hawes of Nick Doyle.
Oh, my God.
I cannot tell you how much I love.
The this guy is the this guy of this guys.
If you, like for as long as this podcast goes on, if you guys fire that off in the chat,
there's a good chance I'm going to laugh at most of them.
I always love those.
They're really good.
I got to get eyes on this lad.
I really do.
Yeah, you'll have a good time.
The third hardy boy.
Okay, I'm going to talk about Malachi Lawrence,
the edge rusher for UCF.
He is somebody who I've gotten a couple of shoutouts
to watch him and get him into the MDS.
I'm getting him in on the show.
I don't have him in the NDS yet
because I've got to build out the full scouting profile for him.
But as you guys can see on the screen there,
6'4, 260 pounds, excuse me.
He's got a 75.9,
overall defensive grade this season. 78.0 pass rush grade. He's got four sacks,
19 hurries on 116 pass rush reps. He's got nine tackles and he's got five
four missed tackles, which I will get to more in second here. So he played outside linebacker
in tight end in Louisville, Kentucky, in high school. He's only been a two year starter
despite being a redshirt senior. He redshirt his first year played very sparingly
his redshirt freshman year. Rotational guy as a redshirt sophomore. Got some starting
time as a red shirt junior and then this year he has been a full-time starter for them to me he can
play from a two and a three-point stance but i like him most in that outside linebacker role Connor
what i really like about him is he has a violent style to his game i always will gravitate guys
toward the defensive side of the football who play with that sort of violence and he really does
from the moment that the ball uh is snapped he is getting off with with bad intentions man he is
he is trying to get after these offensive tackles he is trying to get into the back
his hands are fast and violent.
Now, he doesn't always have the best timing with it.
I think that his block deconstruction could be better.
If he doesn't hit the first move,
I think he gets locked up a little too easily,
and it's tough for him to get by.
But man, when he hits it clean,
he's got a nice combination of that speed,
a little bit of bend to him,
that twitchiness,
and that first step explosiveness,
I think, around the arc and into the backfield
after he wins to get to the quarterback
and affect the quarterback.
So there is some juice there in this player.
Now, some issues for him is he's got to be able to get off blocks quicker.
Like I just mentioned, I think that is the main thing for him.
But other than that, the mistackle percentage is way too high.
He had a 36% mistackle percentage as a pass rusher last year, and it's a 33% this year.
So that has to be so much better for him.
And it's surprising because he's got pretty long arms.
Like he really, from the six foot four frame to the 260 pounds with the long arms,
the violence that he plays with, the speed in which he can move,
like all of those things exist within his scouting report.
But he doesn't bring it all together as much as honestly like he could.
And I think that's just why it feels as though there's moments with this player that are fun.
But I still think that he would be a day three type of an edge rusher,
even for as, you know, athletic as he is and as violent as he plays the game.
So that's my thoughts on Malachi Lawrence, who the pass rusher from UCF,
who a lot of you guys have been shouting out to get into the MDS and on the show.
And to the miss tackles, he looks a little high cut.
So maybe it's a coming to balance situation as well at times.
But Matt, Matt's saying doesn't Jared Verse also have a bad tackle percentage?
Jared Verse does.
And it's one of those things where it's like you would like for that to be better versus
his arms are a little bit shorter, so you understand why that's the case with verse,
but still, his mistackle percentage should be lower.
But your first is so damn good at the position.
Right.
It almost like doesn't matter.
He is, he is so much of a pressure is production type of a player where the destruction that
he is reeking along the defensive line is one of those things where you almost, you live
with the mistackles.
You really do.
all right let's uh close it out with the super chats let's do it tony lee thanks again tony
and i'm rooting for your blue jays he says best round two wide receiver for the jets that
compliment garret wilson give me chris bell the the jets need more size and speed and on day
i think you can get chris bell on on day two obviously i'm dreaming of a carnell tate jordan
tyson world but the jets are going to be taking a quarterback so yeah you are right um
Carson's saying, what's up with the Broncos play calling?
I don't know.
Sean Payton's kind of like,
he goes full mad scientist on us sometimes.
And I think that he just,
Sean Payton, I think is a brilliant offensive coordinator.
I think he's a brilliant offensive play caller and a play designer.
But sometimes I really do think that he gets like too many steps ahead.
Like he goes, okay, we're going to do this,
which is going to set up this, which is going to set up this,
which is going to set up this.
And it's almost like he's moving too fast.
And then you just get some lack of coordination.
nation there with a play calling. But I think him and Nick still certainly have half a year to kind of
figure it out there. So they'll be all right. This one from Dylan Terramen. Hey Dylan. He says
Trevin Connor, the only ones who could fix the Jets. We will. Don't worry. And we will. And we will.
Cody, the $10 super chat. We appreciate it. said love Trevor's passion for offensive linemen.
Hey, you got to win up front, baby. That's right. We're out here talking about the skill position players.
And I love to talk about the skill position players. But the more I have learned about
offensive line through doing this show and just honestly my career in the industry,
the more I always love talking about it a ton because it just matters so much to the game
and the success. So we appreciate it, Cody. Thank you.
B with the $5 super chat. I was at the Monday Night Football Miracle comeback that ended with a
touchdown pass from Test of Verity to Jumbo Elliott. That was kind of cool. My dad was at that game.
Wow. And I was allowed to stay up for it, which was nice.
I mean, it was a late one, but one of the greatest.
Jumbo Elliott.
One of the greatest comebacks of all time.
Jumbo Elliott.
Jumbo Elliott.
Yeah, especially when you're a lineman.
Jumbo Elliott.
Arlo, $5 super chat says, I've got a drinking problem.
And then in parentheses, it says NFLS-E Kool-Aid.
Big fan, fellas.
Should the Bears trade up for Jeremiah Love despite Swift's success?
I don't know if you trade up for Jeremiah Love,
but certainly you feel as though if you have a player.
Well, here's my answer to that.
You are seeing what the Bears' offense.
is when DeAndre Swift has his good weeks.
And Kyle Menungi now.
And Kyle Minangai.
And we are seeing what this bear's offense is when you have the run game,
honestly, running and receiving out of the backfield,
the way the bears have over the last couple of weeks.
So if DeAndre Swift does not continue to give you what you want there,
yeah, you absolutely have a guy like Jeremiah Love in play
because you see what it unlocks for their offense.
The next one, a $5 super chat from Daniel.
Chakabali, thank you.
Any NFL coaches that you could see move down to college with all the current openings.
The people I talk to, nobody wants to go back to college right now because they don't want to deal with the structure of the college program right now at NIL.
That is the most consistent thing I hear when talking about guys going back to college.
Yeah, we're talking to your sources in the industry.
Industry sources.
They're not about it.
Super pony, $5, super chat.
Question for Connor.
There we go.
uh do you think do you think it's better uh wait oh who do you think who do you think is better
germane johnson or will mcdonald asking as a colt fan who wants to trade for either either of
them so it depends what you need will mcdonald is a better pure pass rusher the bend
the spin move the outside speed germane is a more complete edge defender stronger edge setter
rushes with more power uh kind of plays a grittier game germane tweeted this afternoon
like the I'm not leaving Wolf of Wall Street.
Oh, did he?
But I don't.
Oh, big fan of the show then.
He loves the show.
Loves the show.
So, yeah, it depends what you want.
They're very different edge players and both are good young edge talents.
Brandon, $2 super chast.
And that'll cost you three first round picks.
All right.
Sonny Weaver from, uh, from draft day.
That's right.
I want all my picks back.
I want my picks back.
And the kick returner.
Dumbest movie of all time.
Cody Hardy, uh, transferred from Elon's Musk.
I'm guessing that he transferred.
from Elon? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, okay, all right. And then Logan Aguilar with a $5 super
chat said, thoughts on Eli, uh, Rairden, the tight end from Notre Dame. We, we had multiple
shoutouts to watch him. He was on my list of guys to potentially get on this show for like
the new name, but I didn't see that his, his grades weren't like jumping off the screen at
me. And so I, I'm saving him for we, I can do him next week. I can, I can bring him up next week for
Notre Dame has another six foot seven tight end. That's pretty good. So by the way, by the way,
you saying 6-7 reminded me of this when I just said it like 10 minutes ago somebody in the chat said farming 6-7 is insane because we've said it like four times today
oh god I'm done all right more super chats uh brendo de anso 10 dollar super chat thank you blast john harbaugh
out the airlock with the ping pong table and the cornhole boards I said this on Twitter has any coach ever survived
No.
Getting rid of the ping pong tables?
No, dude.
Getting rid of the ping pong tables is admitting you're cooked.
Did you see, did you see what E.J. Schneider, great friend of the show, did you see
what he tweeted?
No.
He said, he said same energy.
And then it was a picture of from Iron Man 2, you know, oh, what's the, what's the main
villain's name?
I've not seen Iron Man 2.
Oh, no.
No.
All right.
So for everybody out there who's seen Iron Man 2.
I've never seen a movie before.
The reference is Ivan when he's sitting in like the prison cell room area
and Justin Hammer walks in and takes his bird from him.
And he's like, see, see?
You don't like when I take your stuff.
That's, he's like same energy from taking the ping pong table away from the players.
Tom, $5 super chat said UK Steelers fan here.
We appreciate everybody who watches from across the pond.
Thank you, Tom, for two and a minute.
It's 11 o'clock there right now.
Oh, my goodness, the commitment.
Would love to get your thoughts on Fluff Bothwell, the running back.
If I was lying about a prospect, I would name him Fluff Bothwell.
So I only know of this player because Alyssa has told me about him and that he is good.
And I think he's hurt currently.
I don't think he's eligible.
No, I don't think he is either.
He's a true sophomore.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's a running back from Mississippi State.
You guys in U.K.S.
230 pounds.

Forest running back DeMond Claiborne. Tyler Cook is the Drew Breeze of Tom Brady.
My brain is scrambled, scrambled eggs.
I have not watched Zeke Berry.
We have Michigan, Michigan State Saturday night, so I will now be focusing on Zeke
Barry.
We also had two other Michigan games this year.
And I feel like I thought he made some plays against USC.
I want to make sure if that's right.
I definitely have heard his name called, but let me see.
Why is that clicking?
Somebody said, Matt in the chat said fluff, Ephesians, Bothwell.
The best name in college football.
Yeah, Pete, we'll get you thoughts on Zeke Berry and Claiborne.
Have you watched Claybourne?
I feel like you've seen more wake than me.
Yeah, I watch Claiborne this summer.
I mean, he's athletic.
I mean, he's got some juice to him.
He's a little undersized.
I've got to check up on him this year, though.
I do like him.
I think he's got adequate speed and athleticism for the NFL level.
But I felt as though,
of the top of my head
I'm feeling as though
he didn't have great yards after contact numbers
and mistackles force numbers
despite being a high athlete type of a player
and so I felt like
I'd worried about him getting tripped up
with first contact at the NFL level
but I'll have to revisit that as we do our re-checks here
appreciate everybody
watching the show by the way
