Starting point is 00:00:00 I went with hurts, and I know everyone's going to hate it. Oh, yeah, hell, yeah. I had a purpose before everybody had an opinion. I know y'all liked that one. I'm just going to get out of the screen real quick for the clip. No matter what. I could leave, too. I'm not buckled into this chair, and I'm not coming back.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Fraternity leave starts now, even if the kid's here or not. Guess what, partner? You're arriving today. Oh, boy, welcome to an emergency episode of the NFL Stock Exchange Show. I'm Trevor Sikima. No Connor Rogers here for this one because, well, we weren't planning on this one. I wasn't planning on talking about Miles Garrett going to the Los Angeles Rams today. But June 1st in the NFL, baby.
Starting point is 00:00:55 It's just, I mean, when free agency rolls around in March, it feels like now that is must-see TV. Like, it's not even a game. It's not even a single event. Like, it's literally just like, oh, the, you know, the free agency window opens up. And we had a couple of emergency podcasts that we had to go through there. And now I guess June 1st is also one of those days. We got to just prepare ourselves to go live every single June 1st because stuff like this can happen. Well, I don't know about stuff like this because, guys, this is one of the craziest trades like an NFL history.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Not because of like the total compensation and everything like that. There have been trades that have been crazier when it comes to the total price that are moving back and forth. But genuinely, like what the Rams have done over the last couple of years all leading to this is unbelievable. I guess it's just it's not enough that the Rams. had one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history in Aaron Donald. They, you know, Aaron Donald retires and they go a couple years without him and they're like, man, you know what? Football is a lot more fun when you have a generational alien on the defensive line.
Starting point is 00:01:54 So why don't we go and get another one there in Miles Garrett? So Miles Garrett now officially, I guess, a member of the Los Angeles Rams, but man, the trade is so fascinating to break down here because it's Miles Garrett. and then the Rams are sending Jared Verse, who is from the state of Ohio, by the way, to the Cleveland Browns. The Browns also get a 2027 first round picks. So the Browns, man, having multiple first round picks.
Starting point is 00:02:22 This is another year in 2027 when they're now going to have a first round pick. And then it says, Adam Schepter says, other draft compensation to be negotiated that is going to the Browns, but they don't know exactly what's it going, that is going to be. Obviously, as time goes on,
Starting point is 00:02:38 we'll kind of like update that and that'll sort of change things here. But man, this is crazy. And right off the top, obviously this goes into sort of what less need has been throughout his career as a general manager where he said, hey, I'm taking over for a team that was in a winning window. What if we just never get out of the winning window? And that feels like how the Rams have operated the entire time that he has been the general manager there.
Starting point is 00:03:09 I mean, they made the blockbuster trade for Matthew Stafford, obviously making this trade as well. This, you know, so the first thing that I think people are going to talk about here with this trade is the Ty Simpson move. And as you guys know, Connor and I have talked about the Thai Simpson move and being a little bit confused on it and saying like, man, like this could have been a player in the first round that you could have had that could have gone towards, you know,
Starting point is 00:03:37 your Super Bowl goal that you clearly had going into the 2027 season. I'll be honest, guys, obviously, you know, getting a player who could contribute to a Super Bowl run, that still could have been advantageous for them. But this move, actually, in my opinion, makes the Ty Simpson pick better. This means the Thai Simpson selection makes more sense. I'm very, very curious as to when they knew something like this was a possibility.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Like when did this sort of like did they had any sort of conversations like hey we think that we could pull this off before the draft? Maybe they didn't and maybe the things aren't related. I see somebody in the chat saying like hey, like these things aren't related. Maybe they aren't related and maybe that's the case. But whether they are related or not, whether knowing this before the Thai Simpson trade or not, in my opinion, it does make the Thai Simpson trade a little bit better. The Ty Simpson selection, excuse me, a little bit better because this. This was another all-in move for you. You traded for Trent McDuffie.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Now you traded for Miles Garrett. Like, these are the all-in moves. And if you were trading a first-round pick for Miles Garrett, not having one in 2027, then now you're basically saying like, okay, Ty Simpson was clearly a quarterback who we liked. We liked them throughout the evaluation process. We liked the tape. We like all that kinds of stuff.
Starting point is 00:04:57 And this was our pick, knowing that we weren't really going to have the ability to pick a quarterback of starting NFL caliber. Because if you don't have a first round pick in 2027, and if you certainly think that you're going to go for Super Bowls over the next couple of seasons, you're not going to be picking high in the draft, even with your own pick, which they don't even have for 2027, but I'm even talking like 2028. And then at that point, you're sort of running the risk a little bit too much with Matthew Stafford, who, yeah, won MVP last year and he's been great, and that's why I was very much for leaning into him.
Starting point is 00:05:29 But you still do have the lingering sort of back injury that could flare up at any point. Now, if you're not going to have that first round. pick in 2027. You could have kind of screwed yourself if you didn't have any quarterback options. So I don't know if I still love the Ty Simpson pick. But in my opinion, this move allows the Ty Simpson pick in the first round to make a little bit more sense, especially knowing the fact that you're not going to pick in the first round next year. You're probably going to pick the back end of the second round at the earliest. And then in 2028, if you're still competing, like if the next couple of years you've still got Matthew Stafford, then you're not even going to
Starting point is 00:06:06 picked very highly in 2028 either and now you're talking about a way far ways out and simpson is at least a emergency developmental option for you so man that is that's crazy i see somebody in the chat saying this as well shout out to everybody who's in the chat wanted to get in on this conversation because i certainly wanted to get in on it right away by the way this does not take away the trivia episode that we have coming up in a couple of hours we are still going to do that i just had to freak out with you guys here with this trade somebody in the chat said everything verse does Miles Garrett does at a better level. And I think there's something specific to Miles Garrett,
Starting point is 00:06:41 outside of him, obviously, being a two-time defensive player of the year, a sure fire hall of famer and an alien. What's up, Peter? I see Peter in the chat. What's up to everybody who's there? The thing that Miles Garrett already does at a higher level and a very different level that is tangible that I think that you could point to specifically for the Rams is verse has been top 10 in the NFL through his first two years in pressures.
Starting point is 00:07:04 He's been great at generating pressures. But the sack numbers for verse have been lower. Translating that pressure to sack ratio for him as the past rusher has been much lower than it has been for a player like Miles Garrett, who's been fantastic, over the last couple of years. So having not just a pressure generator, a true winner, right? A true winner. Somebody who is going to be a one-man wrecking crew in Miles Garrett to be able to translate those pressure. into sacks, and it's not just Jaredverse either. Byron Young, the other side on the defensive line,
Starting point is 00:07:39 Braden Fisk, you like guys like that, Kobe Turner. These guys are great at generating pressures, but they've needed somebody who could be a finisher for them in the backfield. Miles Garrett's the best one to get. I know this is a giant, duh, but like specifically there, like, if you look at the price that was paid, you say to yourself, hey, Miles Garrett obviously is who he is, and he's getting a little bit older.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I think that that goes into this equation a little bit, well. They're truly sprinting over the next couple of years. They're sort of pairing Miles Garrett's timeline with Matthew Stafford's timeline. You have these players who are really great at generating pressures, but you need somebody who can be a true solo finisher for you. And if you tell me that you have two players who are top 10 in the NFL and pressures generated in Jared versus and Miles Garrett, but all you have to pay is, for all intents and purposes, a first round pick in 2027, which you know is going to be a later pick anyways, because you feel like you're going to be a pretty damn good football team,
Starting point is 00:08:38 if not the Super Bowl winners. That is, that's a no-brainer. Now, for the Browns, I wouldn't use the word no-brainer, but I certainly think that this makes sense for them. And I don't hate this move at all for the Cleveland Browns. Reason why is because over the last two years, even after Miles Garrett got his extension,
Starting point is 00:08:59 he wasn't happy. there were rumors even after this season. It's like, we just went through this. And now Miles is already talking again. Like, I'm kind of sick of the Browns. I don't want to, you know, like, there were rumblings of him potentially being on the trade block again. One off season after he signed that extension in which you were like, hey, man, you took the money. You had the opportunity to stand your ground and say, I want out trade me.
Starting point is 00:09:26 And instead, you sign the extension. Now, I'm not going to get on him for signing the extension. It was a crazy amount of money. I wouldn't do that for anybody, especially when that's on the table. So don't fault him for that. But a year later, an offseason later, now we're going to have that same conversation. If I'm the Browns, I'm kind of like, all right, brother. I mean, come on, man.
Starting point is 00:09:44 What more can we do here? And I think that it got to the point where they said, okay, before this goes public again, before Miles has to publicly say, I won out of Cleveland, if he was ever going to get to that point, if they believed that he was. ever going to get to that point. They shop them behind the scenes and they go to a team that they know is going to pay a pretty high price for him. So you get an ascending really, really good edge rusher who, by the way, a couple
Starting point is 00:10:11 weeks ago when Connor and I were ranking our best picks that we had over the last three years, the best selections that have been had over the last three years, Jared Verse, I think was three for me, four for me. It was a top five pick for me. I think Versus in the top 10 for Connor, if I remember correctly. So this is clearly a very, very good football player. And if there are Browns, you get a really good football player at the same exact premium position that you're trading away.
Starting point is 00:10:37 He's obviously a lot younger. You get an extra first round pick out of it and maybe other draft compensation as well. Like, I can see this. For the Rams to no brand. For the Rams, it's an immediate no-brainer, no question about it. When you were in a Super Bowl window
Starting point is 00:10:54 and you have the ability to add a player, Like Miles Garrett, you do, especially for a price that isn't multiple first round picks. Now, maybe those details, like those additional details that we're going to hear are going to involve a lot more draft picks. But I think that if it involved another first round pick, Schefter, Rat, Pelliserra, like, they would have known that part of it. I think it's just going to be a couple of other selections that they will throw in there. and Jose saying F the money. Yeah, I mean, like, yeah, kind of. For the Rams are saying that.
Starting point is 00:11:33 And then I don't know if Jose was actually saying that for the Brown side, maybe. But when you look at this for the Rams, it's an obvious no-brainer. But even for Cleveland, I think this was a good move to make. Because if Miles Garrett again just goes, hey, I want out again. Well, then all of a sudden it's like, yeah, everybody would be involved, want Miles Garrett and I think that the price would still be high for him. But does it get messier? Do you want it to get messier?
Starting point is 00:12:02 Do you want to have to deal with that? Probably not. So, man, what an insane trade. What a crazy trade. What a crazy day. June 1st, we thought that the AJ Brown news was going to be, was going to be the biggest news that we were going to get today. And my goodness, that is,
Starting point is 00:12:23 that is not the case. Wow, Mary Kay Cabot, 32 minutes ago. So wait a second. Well, well, okay, I guess this makes sense. So Mary Kay Cabot tweeted out a video of Andrew Berry, the Browns General Manager, saying the Miles Garrett trade talks are underway, but nothing is final yet. I guess that would make sense because we still don't know
Starting point is 00:12:47 the total additional picks that are going to Cleveland's way. So I guess that that would be, that would be, be the case. Man, let's say, all right, can we, let's look at the depth charts. I think that's probably the, the logical thing to do here. So, let's pull up our lads. Peter said, watch, watch Garrett feel the physical too. If that happened, oh, that would be absolutely insane.
Starting point is 00:13:26 So our lads already has it, folks. already has it. Somebody said how, how, how much younger is Jared Verse than Miles Garrett? Let's check. Miles Garrett is 30 years old. He would be 31 in December.
Starting point is 00:13:46 And Jared Verse is 25. Wow. I didn't realize this. Versus 25. He's going to be 26. So he really is only five years younger than Miles Garrett. I still got a lot of football left in him. Jared Burst does, obviously,
Starting point is 00:14:08 but you would think that it would be, you would have thought that it would have been more than that, but that's actually a great question by the chat. Let's see. Oh, yeah, depth chart. So the Rams' depth chart here, if we go to Our Ladds, Braden Fisk, Puna Ford, Kobe Turner,
Starting point is 00:14:27 as the three-down defensive lineman. He loved that. Miles Garrett gets to play the outside linebacker spot. You'll, obviously, with him being, is the physical freak that he is. He'll kick inside plenty and he'll be able to play, you know, three tech, four eye, five technique. He'll be a stand-up player.
Starting point is 00:14:41 But they could basically use him in a ton of different ways. This is, I mean, this is sick. There's no way around it, especially when you scroll down and you see like Trent McDuffie sitting there as well, the addition of Trent McDuffie. Corner was a big issue for this team. And obviously like Jalen Watson has to continue to play well. Quentin Lakes could have a bounce back year. Cam Curl and Camp Kitches.
Starting point is 00:15:01 I love that safety duo there. Omar Spates and Nate Lambman just have to play solid. Like you just have to play okay here. And then you'll be all right. Because everywhere else you are afraid of this Rams defense. Somebody who's bringing up Puganakuwa's potential contract extension, which would come.
Starting point is 00:15:26 When would that come? What is his contract? Is it next summer? Because he's been in the league three years. So this is the last year of his deal. So they can get a deal done with him now. But I don't, I don't, I don't know exactly what their cap situation is. Yeah, I mean, soon to be ghost town says with what cap space?
Starting point is 00:15:52 I don't know. But like so many teams make, we'll like make moves like this and then you'll sign an extension. And it's, it's so unbelievably backloaded that the teams don't really care. Which if you're the Rams and you're hitting the gas pedal in every way, especially with getting Miles Garrett, clearly, clearly you want to line up. Stafford, Garrett, and I would say Nakuwa's as well,
Starting point is 00:16:13 like Nakuwa's timeline. So if you get the extension going, I guess you certainly can't front load it. I don't know. I do not pretend to be a cap expert, though. So we'll sort of see like how the, how the cat plays out with Nakua. Let's look at the brown side of things, though.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Because the, the, rounds, this is not only a sneaky. Maybe I'm not paying close enough attention to Cleveland, but to be honest with you, I think this is a really sneaky good move for Cleveland, not just because, hey, you get a good young pass rusher in Jaredverse, you get an extra first round pick out of it. Like, guys, they don't have quarterback figured out at all whatsoever, at all whatsoever. So now you're in a situation where it's first year head coach and Todd Monkin. you have totally revamped the offensive line.
Starting point is 00:17:10 I mean, four of your five, actually is it five at a five? I think it might be five out of five starters on your offensive line are going to be brand new. Spencer Fano, Titus Howard, Elton Jenkins, Zion Johnson, at least. And then Tevin Jenkins was on the team last year, but he wasn't like a full-time starter for them. So you've got a brand new offensive line. For all intents of purposes, you have a new receiver room as well because you drafted Denzel, Boston, Casey, Concepcion, and those guys are going to be new contributors for you. You have Harold Fanon, but the running back room is the same.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Quarterback is completely up in the air. They might, Deshawn Watson might somehow, some way, start the most games for this team this upcoming season. And then it's Sanders, Dylan Gabriel, who weren't drafted by this coaching staff at all whatsoever. I mean, you are in a situation where you've got an elite defense still behind you. Now, is it as good without Miles Garrett? No, and we'll see, I guess, how great that defense is
Starting point is 00:18:03 with the changing coaching staff, a change in defense coordinator and then also not having Miles Garrett on it. I guess we'll have to wait and see exactly how good that Brown's defense is there. But you're in a situation where the next, specifically 2027 draft for you is really, really important if you're Cleveland. And I think that the Browns are not going to be very good this upcoming season. I don't think I'm shattering any glass or, you know, going crazy saying stuff like that. but they're now going to have two first round picks.
Starting point is 00:18:41 One of them is going to be very high in this draft, could be top five, could even be number one overall. Another one's going to be at the back end of the first round. You'll then have that second round pick, which will be a very high second round pick as well. So close to back to back there with them picking at the back end of the first round and the early part of the second round. They've got a third round pick of their own as well, so early.
Starting point is 00:19:02 And then they've got three fourth round picks. and two fifth round picks as well. So this is a team that, in my opinion, I'm a whisk of sixth, whoa, spoilers. I'll know Brown's being bad. Sorry, sorry, sorry. So I gave away the ending there. So to me, when you look at this Brown's depth chart,
Starting point is 00:19:28 you look at the uncertainty at quarterback. You look at how it was always going to be a developmental year for the offensive line and the past catcher. specifically. I mean, what's Jerry Judy's contract, actually? Judy can't, is he in the last year of his deal? I feel like he is. No.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Okay, so he's got another year after this, but he has an out after this year that they could utilize, which they probably will. So you've got an offensive line that's totally different. You've got a receiving core that's totally different. And your 20, 27 quarterback probably still isn't on the roster. Anytime that you are in a situation where your future starting quarterback, the next year,
Starting point is 00:20:25 you don't even know if they are on the roster, I think you are in a situation where you get pretty aggressive to make sure that you can answer that question as much as possible, especially for a team like the Browns, who is as in flux as they are. So, man, what a wild trade. What an insane trade in so many different ways. By the way, guys, we know that we, anytime that we do some breaking news episodes or emergency episodes, a lot of times we're getting a lot of new viewers.
Starting point is 00:20:57 If you guys have seen NFLSC or if you have enjoyed this episode or anything that we're doing here, we would love for you to come back. Hang out with us. We have part of the NFLSC draft addicts. And, hey, specifically, come back for the trivia show at 4 p.m. We have a lot of fun. It's a good time.
Starting point is 00:21:10 So if you guys aren't subscribed to the show, we would love for YouTube. We know we get a lot of new people when we're doing these emergency episodes. So we would love to have you. back and be part of the NFL SEAs. Let's look at some, let's look at some super chats here. What do we got for the super chats?
Starting point is 00:21:26 McKenna gave us a $2 super chat said, get Donald out of retirement. Genuinely, I've seen the, I've seen the clips of Aaron Donald's still working out. He could do it. Does he want another free ring? I'm not going to say it's free. I'm not going to say that. But man, it'd be hard to bet against this. I wonder what the betting swing is for this team.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Anybody know that or see that? Rams, I'm sure, were the favorite before today. And even a player as good as Miles Garrett typically doesn't swing things too much. I just wonder if it's swung at all since this trade has happened. So all he asked, does this make the Simpson pick, does it make more or less sense now? And I answer this at the top of the show, but for anybody who joined and is sort of new over the last couple of minutes, because we're talking about it here. I think that this actually makes the Ty Simpson pick make more sense.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Now, did they stumble into it making more sense? I don't know. I don't know how much of this conversation from Miles Garrett was happening before the draft. Did they think that this was likely that they were going to be pulling off? Because remember, it's a June 1st type of a trade. So this is a move that's made on this day for a reason, in my opinion. And with that being the case, they could have been talking about this for months.
Starting point is 00:22:49 And they could have secretly said, like, hey, we're going to wait until June 1st for this trade because it allows us to have certain amounts of like cap flexibility and all that kinds of stuff. So there's a world where they could have known this was a possibility before the draft. If they did, if they knew before the draft, then the Simpson pick in, in my opinion, makes even more sense. But even if they didn't know that this was a possibility before the draft, they sort of stumbled into it making it.
Starting point is 00:23:18 more sense. Because if you're not going to have a 2027 first round pick, and if you are in all likelihood not going to be picking very high in 2028, sure, take Simpson. See how it develops over the next three years. You let's, you know what, this would be a good exercise. Let's remind ourselves, because I, because I forget as well. Let's go to the 2026 NFL draft. Let's look at the Ty Simpson selection. Let's look at sort of the Rams depth chart and say, who would you have picked? because I remember one of my big points of criticism with the Ty Simpson pick at number 13 for them was Ruben Bain was right there. Ruben Bain helps your defensive line.
Starting point is 00:24:01 It's a major area of need. He continues to allow your pressure production to be very high. And Ruben Bain knows how to get after the quarterback and get sacks as well. So to me, that was the big selling point for the Rams is you could have had a player along the defensive line who could have really, really, really helped your team out. Now they have that. Now they have that in Miles Garrett.
Starting point is 00:24:27 So who else could they have picked? They could have picked Vega-Yawanna. Vega was on the board. But you have Kevin Dodson, who has been good when he's been healthy. You have Shelton Coleman. You've got center options on this team. Stephen Vila plays one of the guard spots.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Alaric Jackson's been great when he has been healthy. You have Warren McClendon. So, like, you could have potentially, pick the tackle, right? You could have picked Blake Miller. You could have picked Monroe Freeling. I think Freeling could have made sense for them. Eonature maybe as well, but there's a good chance that even Blake Miller, like their
Starting point is 00:25:02 offensive line is constructed, they hope, over the next two years, to sort of be the same. I don't think that they're trying to have a lot of change on their offensive line. And do they think that one of these young guys would have been an option for them either this year or next? I'm not as convinced. Again, the Rubin Bain, one, I was pretty strong in saying, like, he was right there, go take him. Kenyon Sadiq was still on the board, but this team has a plethora of tight ends already. They didn't really need a tight end, which is kind of funny because obviously they picked
Starting point is 00:25:30 one a little bit later, but like you weren't going to pick Kenyon Sadiq. You know what? You look at this team at wide receiver, like they still have Devonte Adams. Clear, in my opinion, if they felt like Mackay Lemon, Casey Concepcion, Omar Cooper Jr., One of those guys was a direct upgrade over Devante Adams over the next two years for them. I think they would have either picked him at 13 or would have traded back and would have picked one of those guys. So I just don't think that that would have been the case. And wide receivers, we talk about this all the time.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Not that you don't want to prioritize wide receiver, but you can get wide receiver basically every single year, especially non-wide receiver once. You can get wide receivers every single year. So I don't think that that was a forcible pick either. Then you get into, the only guys that are left are like, Caleb Banks was picked at 18. Akeem Messdor was picked at 22. Malachi Lawrence picked 23. All those guys are defensive line. You got Miles Garrett instead.
Starting point is 00:26:28 You take that every single time. So a part of what made the Ty Simpson selection so frustrating to me was specifically that you had options to get better on the defensive line. and they did not choose to get better on the defensive line when they could have there at number 13 and they went with a player who's not going to play for them at all. If Simpson never plays for them, obviously it's still like, objectively not great, right?
Starting point is 00:26:58 We talked about that immediately in the aftermath of the pick right after the first round when we did our stream. But now that you have Miles Garrett, that pick again, I'm setting all of this up to give context and detail and explanation to why whether it was as intentional as we can see it now or not, the pick does make more sense.
Starting point is 00:27:20 The Ty Simpson selection, in my opinion, makes more sense for this team because now you are not going to have any option to get a viable quarterback the way that you would want to, clearly the way that they saw Ty Simpson, and you added to the defensive line the way that you would have wanted to there at number 13. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:45 TV says no one believes in Byron Young. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. There's a big Byron Young guy before the draft. Still Byron Young Guy now. Man, craziness. Craziness, folks. Oh, let's go back to, oh, somebody in the chat said, just Ty Simpson's game translates to the NFL.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Did I see that? Did I see that correctly? Oh, Ty Simpson's game translates to the NFL, a definitive statement. I do agree. I think that I said this pre-draft. I think Ty Simpson can play in this league. Now, is he going to be a, you know, is he going to be a long-term franchise type of a player?
Starting point is 00:28:25 I'm not sure. He's a little bit smaller. I think the arm strength is adequate. It's not like it's crazy. He's going to have to be one of those assassins between the years type of a player. But he showed signs of that at Alabama. This is a player that I did like.
Starting point is 00:28:37 I preferred him sort of as that like second round type of a quarterback, knowing that you pay a little bit more for attacks. 13, again, for the Rams, I had my, you know, criticism of, in the moment. But now they make the scared trade, man. It's different.
Starting point is 00:28:53 I think it's different. The N.O. said, who allowed this? The league, baby, entertainment, ratings. It's all we need. James, sweet baby Jesus in the manger. This defense is going to destroy the league. Rams versus the field. That's what I think the betting market
Starting point is 00:29:09 is going to say as well. Scumback, first and last time, I tail you on a Heisman bet, rest up. Hardy. Wait, Amad Hardy is the Heisman bet? No, no, no, no, no. He's coming back. It's the inspirational story.
Starting point is 00:29:32 No, no, no, no. The inspirational story is coming back. He's going to win Heisman. Never end up. Emiliano said, pick number 30 and verse for Miles Garrett Week. The Bears should have offered two first. Yeah, I do wonder how much this was being shopped publicly, which could also be another kudos to less need.
Starting point is 00:29:54 by, Lesneed strikes me as one of those general managers who kind of calls other general managers and, like, says crazy stuff. He's like, yeah, what do you want for Garrett? Like, ah, come on, we're not going to trade Garrett. He's like, no, no, no, no, tell me the price. What do you want for Garrett?
Starting point is 00:30:08 And it's like, Garrett's not on the block at all, not really shopping him anywhere else. And now all of a sudden, like a conversation is actually happening. Lessneed feels like a go-getter in that regard. Shom gave us the super chats at Aaron. He should come out of retirement, form the Avengers. Yeah, I think he's probably thinking about that as well. Um, did continue to give us $2 super chat?
Starting point is 00:30:30 Respectfully speaking, no one can touch us as the Rams. Yeah, kind of. Ty said, thank God he's out of my division. Mims did a pretty good job versus Garrett, but a good job versus Garrett is still giving up a sack. Yes, that is very true. Inside the board NFL, Connor and Trev, love the show you guys, you guys do, and you guys have been a true inspiration to me.
Starting point is 00:30:52 I started my own podcast, Inside the board, was wondering if you had any tips for me to help continue to grow the podcast. I would say, honestly, make sure that you're talking about things that you really want to talk about, because those will always be the things that you want to research the most indefinitely, be the most passionate about, you know, speak with the most conviction. Do the things that you want to do. I tell this to everybody who's starting to podcasting. Do the things that you really want to do because you'll always keep you coming back.
Starting point is 00:31:17 It'll always get you fired up to turn on the microphone and the camera and continue to do it. And then consistency. Consistency is a big thing. If you want to go live on Mondays at 4 o'clock, go Monday's live at 4 o'clock and stick with it. That's how you really build an audience. And so that would be my advice to you. But it's really cool, hearing that we are the inspiration for you to start that.
Starting point is 00:31:37 We love it. Good luck on your podcasting journey. It can be a lot of fun as long as you let it be a lot of fun. Rufus said this is a bad day to be an Eagles fan. AJ is leaving and Garrett's coming to the NFC. Damn, yeah, that's tough. That's tough. So he said that Rams are now plus five.
Starting point is 00:31:53 50 and the next best odds are over a thousand. Yeah, that sounds about right. Rams is another one from the chat. Rams make the Simpson pick knowing that they wouldn't have a QB worthy pick next year. This is a result of added flexibility now that they have Simpson.
Starting point is 00:32:15 Yeah, I mean, I think all of these, all of those factors go into this move making the Simpson pick better. Somebody said, oh, Sean said, versus will be an eagle. Yeah, is he an Eagles fan? I think. Yeah, I think I do remember that.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Big Mike said, all that's a lose to the Cowboys in the NFC championship. Wow, bold call. Bold call there. I was mid-happie. Felix, you almost got me. Almost got me. Almost got me. Frederick said, hope, hope,
Starting point is 00:32:48 Hope Miles the best. Hope the best four miles, I'm guessing. But, man, does that hurt? Also, how is this? is this how I find out because NFLSE rules the NFL news world, of course, of course. All right, folks, there we go. Man, that's the immediate breakdown. We're going to have plenty of other words on this topic.
Starting point is 00:33:09 Obviously, it impacts the 2027 NFL draft a ton with Cleveland Browns now having an extra selection and the Rams really gunning for that Super Bowl now as a member of the Los Angeles Rams. What a world. What a world we live in. The NFL is the greatest reality TV show that has ever been created. Shout out to everybody to tuned in for this emergency live. Make sure you guys stick around the computer, the tablets, the phones, whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Because at 4 o'clock Easter time, we are still going live with special guest Benjamin Solac for a trivia episode of the show. It's going to be Ben and I teaming up against you guys, against the chat. We're going to keep score. We've got a bunch of different NFL trivia questions. And we're going to see who is going to be crowned champion at the end. So if you think that you know more than Benjamin Solac, that ESPN, since Ben, of course, represents everything that is ESPN. Just kidding.
Starting point is 00:34:01 But if you think that you can beat Ben and I in NFL trivia, make sure you show up back to the stream here in about just over 90 minutes at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. We will see you guys then. Appreciate you. See it for.
