Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm going to select all the teams. And I'm going to go over here for the first time ever in show history. And I'm going to click seven rounds. The seven round marathon mock draft is going to be at noon Eastern, Tuesday, April 14th for that charity stream. Over under four and a half misclicks from Trevor. We go back and forth with you guys for seven straight hours as we go through every single pick that a mock draft can possibly handle. So we're starting the draft. Final pick of the fourth round.
Starting point is 00:00:23 I'm going to draft Ahmed Hossinian here to the Browns 200. Every last super chat dollar goes to two different charities. $300 super check. What? We had so much fun on last year's show. We can't wait forward again. It's going to be great. It's going to be jam-packed with, obviously, you guys in the chat.
Starting point is 00:00:37 May this stream rest in piss. Tim, you're on thin ice, brother, with guests that we get throughout the marathon. Benjamin Solac. Mike Renner, baby. You broke up there, but I'm sure there's something stupid. It's a great time. So hopefully you guys can join us for that at noon Eastern Tuesday, April 14th. Appreciate you guys.
Starting point is 00:00:52 See them. $50 said put this towards the NFL-See mock draft simulator. The ad, You later. Whoa. Hold on the regular show. Oh, God. That wasn't on the regular show. Oh, no. The Chris Jones, you later.
Starting point is 00:01:12 The dong. This is a hundred-dollar super chat from Chad. He said, I truly appreciate you guys for what y'all. Uh... I can't let it go. That was real bad. I went back to the live comments. It's just...
Starting point is 00:01:30 I didn't see. I didn't see the live. comments yet. I'm going back to the super chat. You look at the word at face value and you just go, oh yeah, this is a harmless word. Let me read this out loud. And then you do. And you just like, well, can't take that one back now that it's out there.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Fella Stock Exchange podcast, Trevor Sigmacomacca, Connor Rogers, with you guys again for another historic episode of the Colab mock draft series. We're today, Connor, you and I a fatal three way here. Me versus you. And for the first time ever, versus the addicts, baby.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Very excited about this one. Getting the chat fully involved in the show, as if you guys aren't involved in the show already, very clearly from the cold open, which the chat correctly is saying right now that the chef once again cooked. I mean, that was a Michelin Star type of intro right there. Well done, Jeff.
Starting point is 00:02:32 As always, he comes through. Shout out to all the dongulators out there. That was one of those, like, You really had to stay until the, it was, it was when something great happens after the credits. That was the after the episode part of the last, the last episode that we did. We haven't had a post credit surprise like that in a while. So we were, we were really, really do. And yes, this is a special guest mock draft because it's, the guest is the addicts who are here every Monday anyway,
Starting point is 00:03:04 but now they actually get a say. And we love in the comments when we're trying to make a pick or we make a pick and you guys respond with someone different or you loved it or whatever. it is. Today's the day where that matters more than ever because that is going to quantify to be the actual pick if there's enough votes. And I'm excited to see how that turns out, Trev. Yeah, we're obviously navigating this for the first time, but it'll be a lot of fun. We're excited to embark on this journey here with you guys. The way that we're doing it, specifically because Tyler, our producer said this would be the easiest and cleanest way visually to do this for the show is you guys are going to vote on the NFLSC Discord platform. So if you're in there,
Starting point is 00:03:41 obviously you're good to go open up discord and if you go to believe it's right under the addict alley tab there's a mock draft voting tab specifically for this exercise if you're not in the discord there's a link to the discord in the description of this show i think you can find it on our socials as well we tweeted out a couple of times we put it on uh instagram as well on our story so however you want to be able to get to it sign up for the discord it's free it's an easy way to support the show um and that is how you guys can vote now Now, Connor, I have to say this right off the bat. Because when we told the people this morning that they were going to have control over part of this mock draft,
Starting point is 00:04:19 immediately the first comment was, I'm drafting Pavia to overall. Like I'm 100% drafting Pavia. Okay, we can't let you guys get that crazy at the top. We might throw you guys a bone for the full pick of whoever the fans really want towards the end of the first round. But we do want this to be somewhat realistic. We want you guys to have a creativity, want you to have the input here, but we do still have a little bit of control here, right? There's a fine line. Every once in a while, you're reminded that beat reporters listen to this show.
Starting point is 00:04:56 People listen to the show is like a resource once in a while. There's a sliver of the pie, a big one that matters so much in my heart, that is the addicts that are so insane. And we love that portion of the show. But we can't have like, oh, what even is the example here? Like you said, Pavia 2. Right. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Right. Now, here's what can be fun. Tyler, you could put up the first poll right now. You guys can vote. Which spot do you want to have? Right. You want to start with one, two, or three. And obviously we will, you know, change the order and everything from there.
Starting point is 00:05:31 You know, Connor and I'll pick, you know, around that, wherever you guys want to pick. So you guys. So you guys get to pick here. So, yeah, there we go, man. Look at the chef. The production. Seamless folks. Seamless folks.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Where is his Emmy? Is that the right award? An Emmy? Webby. A Webby. We're not on TV. Yet. Yet.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Wow. Okay. So the number two overall pick is overwhelmingly winning this vote so far. Again, you guys. They want to do something stupid for the Gets. That's exactly what this is. They're cold open farming. That's what they're doing here.
Starting point is 00:06:07 They're going to hell out of this. Going to cold open farm. This is what I would do to troll the show as well. So I actually approve of this. So I wonder if they're wanting to pick second here because it's not the obvious pick it number one because we're basically going to force them into picking for Neda-Mendoza if they pick number one overall. But them picking it number two means that they're guaranteed the most selections.
Starting point is 00:06:28 And so I wonder if that's just the logic there. But once again, if you guys are just joining, if you joined a little bit late, one on the baseline, if you're late, that's five suicides all the way up and back. You got to make sure that you finish those. But after you do, this is Coach Carter style, by the way. After you do, then join the NFLSE Discord. That is how you're going to be able to vote throughout the show. The link, once again, in the description of the show.
Starting point is 00:06:50 So, kind of looks like number two is going to win, but yeah, I'll just give it a little bit more time here. Yeah, this is going to be fun, man. I'm excited for this. Well, let me give a big shout out to Frost Inferno 24. Thank you for the $100 super chat. Hey, chumps, long time, first time. Appreciate everything you all have done.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Had to fund the Dongulator. You're welcome. What a hero. Frost and Furno, thank you guys. Thank you very much, man. Thank you so much. We really, really appreciate it. We appreciate the support.
Starting point is 00:07:16 And we said this on the last episode, but there's been so much continuous outpouring since the last episode that we did where we announced that I am no longer with PFF. We as a podcast are no longer with PFF. And the support that you guys gave us during that show. And then after the fact, man, I'm sitting here reading all the comments and the kind words that you guys have for, again, not just me, but the show is, a whole my coworkers at pf thank you guys so much for being a a beacon of kindness in the world i think last week and that was really the oh and what was a tough week for a lot of people i feel like so much there was just so much kindness and and generosity and people being willing to you know stick out of hand and help the people who were going through a tough time and right and all that
Starting point is 00:08:02 last week so we appreciate it we appreciate everything and i'll say this off the top of the show. We've had the campaign to get to 75K subscribers by the time the end of the, by the time the draft rolls around. So in a couple of weeks, we got almost 3,000 subscribers over the last like five days. You guys are incredible. Thank you so much. We are so happy to have you as part of the addicts here on this show. It's so much fun getting to rock with you guys. If you're watching this and you're not subscribed, smash that subscribe button, guys. Come on. You get in on fun shows like this and you can tune in for every single episode. all the way up through the NFL draft.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Connor, anything else? Before we get to these, I think we're going number two. I think the people are going number two. It looks like the people are going number two. I'll go number one because I never do, I feel like, in these. And I could make a pick for the Raiders at the end,
Starting point is 00:08:56 by the way, Raiders fans. If I know, we, this is a great idea by Marcus that we're kind of just carrying the baton on. If you're a Raiders fan, you're just so disappointed or you might watch these and be like, well, me. So at the end, I'll try to remember to make a second round pick for the Raiders. Yeah, Adam in the chat, by the way, saying finally made it to a live show. Shout out Adam.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Welcome to the show. This is going to be a fun one. You picked a good one to tune into. So you're at number one. Taking Fernandez, obviously, that's who you're going to take here. Yeah, we talked about it in the war room, but a couple people disagreed. But at the end of the day, hey, do you think Kirk Cousins is going to start for them? Yes, 100%. Wow. That's it. I shouldn't say 100%. 90% yes. Man. Do you like that?
Starting point is 00:09:44 You mean five year 172 million dollar Kirk Cousins? That one? Yeah, the same one. Or are you talking about one year $10 million Kurt Cousins? Which one are you talking about? That's true. These things are important. Man.
Starting point is 00:09:59 I don't love it. I'm not going to lie. I don't love it. But I, you know what? I actually do love it. You love it. Yeah, I do. You can just like.
Starting point is 00:10:07 like it. No. You know what? I think I love it. You know, if we're a coldstone here, I think I love it. I really do. So the reason why I do love it is because John SpyTech talked about this. I can't remember if it was at the combine or maybe a little bit earlier in the off season. But he said, ideally, I don't want to have a situation where Fernando has to start right away. He's like, look, if Fernando wins the job in training camp, great, wonderful. But I love it. I love, love, the reason why I do love the idea is that Kirk Cousins gets to start for the first four or five games of the season, whatever it is, six, I don't know how long it's going to go, maybe even six or seven games.
Starting point is 00:10:50 But whenever Fernando Mendoza is ready, then you get to start him. So I think that this is a step towards really trying to take that phrase seriously of organizations fail quarterbacks before quarterbacks fail, organizations. So that's why I do actually love them. Nice 6-7. Great job. No, I know. I know. I know. Had to do it. Had to do it. I, you know, I actually found myself in an opportunity where I wasn't going to farm.
Starting point is 00:11:17 And then I was like, you know what? We're going to put on the straw hat. We got to put on the straw hat. And we got to get out there and farm. It ain't much, but it's honest work. But it's honest work. The Jets at number two. So this is where the people get involved here. So I think the chef,
Starting point is 00:11:36 has correctly, you know, chosen the first three picks. The fourth pick, we will let the chat sort of shout out these names, you know, whether it's, Connor, I mean, is it sort of like Sunny Stiles or Caleb Downs? Like, are those the options there for the fourth? Yeah, I would say the door is open for Stiles. Okay. You know, yeah, I would say Stiles more than Downs. He'd be the fourth player here.
Starting point is 00:12:06 There's almost part of me that's like, is Jeremiah Love get put on this over Bain? But we could keep it this way. Reese Bailey, Bain's Stiles. Okay, all right. Let's put, let's put Stiles in there as the last one so we can let people vote. Because I also have to, I have to chat saying Carnell Tate a lot. That was a big, that was a big bit of, I don't want to say news. That's not the right way to frame it.
Starting point is 00:12:29 Just a talking point today. So hold on here. Before we put Tate as an option, it feels like Tate might. actually win this year. Do you think there's any world where they would take Carnell Tate and then how do you feel about it if they took Carnell Tate? I mean, I would never get on here and say there's, there's no world because that's just the draft is just so wildly unpredictable, even for as much work as we put into it, especially
Starting point is 00:12:54 with someone with the reach that Daniel Jeremiah has and goes on and says, think start for Tate at two. I don't think that's going to be the pick. How would I feel about it? I mean, I can't sit here and it would be dishonest for me to be like, I love it when Jordan Tyson's my number one receiver. And you might get him at 16. That would be, that would look ridiculous for me to sit here and be like, oh, Carnal Tatea 2 makes so much sense when you can get my number one receiver at 16. So no, for the Jets and the allocation of assets, I'd rather take one of the blue chip defenders and then go wide receiver.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Even if it's not Tyson, one of these wide receivers at 16 or 33. Okay, Tyler, here's what I would suggest we do. I would take styles off of this and just make it a four-man race, but I would keep Tate in there because it is sort of what we would do. And DJ said it starts it too. So post the poll and let's see what the people think here. By the way, I do see some people, whether it's in the chat or in the Discord saying like, why are we still using the PFF mock draft simulator?
Starting point is 00:13:57 Full transparency as we do all the time on this show, we forgot that we needed to pick a new mock draft simulator. So Tyler, so I hit up, I hit up Tyler like an hour and a half before the show and I was like, oh shoot, which simulator are we going to use? And Tyler said he's like, guys, I don't know if I have enough time to like change the assets. Like I just don't know if I have enough time. So we're using the PFF mock track. It's still, it's still my big board, damn it. Well, one.
Starting point is 00:14:30 It's still my board. It's your board and there's so much time put into that. I have to tell a story behind the scenes. It just makes me laugh. I was driving when we were having this conversation as you guys have to deal through my awful voice text, which is wrong 85% of the time, and I feel bad for that.
Starting point is 00:14:48 But I was driving home from work, and to hear Siri go, wait, what mock draft simulator are we going to use? And we were like 90 minutes to show. And Tyler's just like, I don't know if I can overhaul our entire program in time for that. But, I mean, yeah, We don't have a simulator that we're officially affiliated with since this all went down.
Starting point is 00:15:11 And the PFF one is built to you, Trevor. And we've used it for how long now? So we're so comfortable with it. So here we are. And if people want to see something else, suggest it here, Discord, wherever you want. Yeah. Yeah. I think that's obviously perfectly said there with sort of our situation and where we're at as a fully independent show.
Starting point is 00:15:30 I think Arville Reese is winning this one. I think for as much as I feel like the chat has. has gone in a different direction before we even put up the poll. It feels as though the silent minority here was that Arville Reese was going to win this. So Arville Reese at number two overall for the New York Jets from the people. That's the first selection there for them. Arizona Cardinals here on the board at number three. I want to spend most of this time given the people the ability to get in on the show.
Starting point is 00:15:58 So I'll be somewhat quick with this. I'm going to take Spencer Fano here. I'll take Spencer Fano for the Arizona Cardinals. I'll switch it up a little bit. I've talked about Sonny Stiles being a pick here. I don't think that I would take Jeremiah Love here at this point, given the fact that they brought James Connor back, and I feel like the running back room is pretty crowded right now.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Would Jeremiah Love be the best? Yes, but would it be the best allocation of resources, number three? No. So I'm going to go with the offensive lineman here. I think Monty Austin Ford's going to do some wheeling and dealing, and it's the worst kept secret of this entire draft, is that the Cardinals are looking to move back. So I think they'll target offensive line no matter what,
Starting point is 00:16:31 but I'll have them stick here at number three and take who I believe is the best offensive lineman in the draft in Spencer Fano. So, Connor, you're back up with Titans here at four. Quickly, a little wholesome alert. Little Brother 824. Thank you for the $50 super chat. Supper little dudes, first time, long time.
Starting point is 00:16:45 One of my favorite memories is watching the pod in the hospital after both my kids were born. And now we just closed on our dream home. Oh. Congrats. Where we'll keep McPounding for as long as you'll let us wishing you dudes the best. That is excellent. Thank you so much.
Starting point is 00:17:00 And congrats on all your successes. Yeah, yeah. Congrats on all the life milestones there, little brother. That's awesome. Cool that we have in a way been a part of that and got to go through that journey with you. So hopefully it's been one that's increased the joy and the highs of all those moments. So congratulations on all the life milestones that we got there. You're up with the Titans there at number four?
Starting point is 00:17:24 Titans for I'm going to do something a little different here, Trev. Because obviously every time I get to make this picker talk about the Titans, I go with Jeremiah Love and how much I love that for the team. And I'm not getting away from that. That would still normally be my pick. But to give the addicts a little bit of a different board perspective, I'm going to take David Bailey here just with the light of thinking of Robert Sala, his love for pass rushers, guys that get off the ball with explosiveness and get after the quarterback
Starting point is 00:17:51 from a wider alignment. I think there's a home for David Bailey in this defense where he's the ultimate disruptor across from Jermaine Johnson. So to change things up, David Bailey at four today, not Jeremiah Love. Okay, David Bailey going at number four. I know you're a bigger fan of David Bailey than I am, but I think that like most people who are big fans of David Bailey, this is the range.
Starting point is 00:18:14 This is what they talk about here. If you believe in them, that pass-witch ability is pretty special. So the people are now back on the clock with the New York Giants at number five. I saw somebody in the Discord say, Bobby Skinner, fan of the show, friend of the show. Bobby's the man. Yeah. Bobby Skinner hates Fano, which means we hate Fano.
Starting point is 00:18:35 So I just love the, love the unity that we have there. So the options that the chef cooked up for the Giants at number five, Sonny Stiles, Francis Maui Noah, I almost said Golden Tate. Carnell Tate, maybe Golden Tate's coming back in the game. I don't know. Carnell Tate, Jeremiah Love, and then perhaps a fifth option here.
Starting point is 00:18:57 What do you think about a fifth option at all, Connor? What do you think? Hmm Giants Yeah this covers Caleb Downs Downs would be the fifth one Yeah they're definitely
Starting point is 00:19:09 Okay When I say in on downs I don't mean like He's the favorite to go But they've been doing And there's enough around there With Downs that he should be the fifth player Ooh some people are talking about Delane as well
Starting point is 00:19:20 But maybe I don't I don't think so But I think Downs over Delane But yeah I'm also fascinated to see what the addicts do here Because I know
Starting point is 00:19:30 I've heard from Giants fans in all different corners. Obsession with Sunny Stiles that fit with Harbaugh and him being the identity. We need Carnell Tate. He's the perfect number two from elite neighbors. And I do think the Giants like Carnell Tate a lot. Take Jeremiah Love. He's a superstar. Take Caleb Downs.
Starting point is 00:19:46 He's the best defensive player in the draft. And then you think of Maui Noah, this team struck out at guard in Frigency when they were, you know, they were circling around Elijah Vera Tucker and players of that ilk. So I think this will be probably the closest vote we have. I think. Or one of. I kind of want to add just another one and put Delane on there if we can.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Just to, I want to see what all of the Giants fans and the addicts like are thinking of this pick. Let's post it. I think those are the players that you're thinking about there. So we've got six options here for the New York Giants. I love that we get to see the votes live. This is dopamine that I did not know existed. Wow. Sonny Stiles and Caleb Downs are just like.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Neck and neck right now. are Kentucky Derby down the harm stretch right now. Look at this. Sunny. Two non-premium positions. Right. Have two of the best players in the draft. I'm just kidding.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Grow up. What do we think about the Dexter Lawrence situation, by the way? Not ideal for a team that is thin in that area and didn't stop the run last year. You would imagine it. like cooler heads prevail at some point and he's not going anywhere. Man, you better get, if you move on from Dexter Lawrence who had a down year, and Dexter Lawrence is down year is what guys dream of, you better get at least the Quinn and Williams return.
Starting point is 00:21:17 I'd argue more. So the Quinnin was a one and a two or one in a three? One and a two. Yeah, yeah. And he was a pick 44 in this year's draft and then a first and next year's very valuable draft. Right, right. By the way, somebody in the chat asked, how do we vote in the poll?
Starting point is 00:21:34 The way that you do that is in the NFLSE Discord, which you can find the link to in the description of the show. So if you just scroll down from where you're watching the show on YouTube, click the description, and you will see the link right there. It's easy. It's free to join. And then you'll see right to the left, under Addict Alley, the tab Addict Alley,
Starting point is 00:21:52 there is a hashtag mock draft voting. That's where all of this stuff is happening. So join the Discord and obviously let your voice and your vote be heard here. Yeah, obviously the Dexter Lawrence situation is not ideal for them. I think that the bears are an interesting one when it comes to like the cap, but I think Ryan Poles will absolutely be interested in want to, you know, put his foot to the gas pedal. I think the Jags are another interesting team for me, but they don't have a first round pick to offer this year.
Starting point is 00:22:20 So I'm not sure if that allows them to be in the running. I'm not sure if they would want to trade their second round pick this year and their first round pick next year because then they're only picking in the third round this year. So maybe they would. but I think that they're an interesting team there. Buffalo. Buffalo is a team where you're moving, you're moving to a three, four.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Like you need somebody on the interior anyways. You need somebody to stop the run. You need somebody to rush the passer from that spot. So I think that those are the three teams that immediately come to my mind here. Dude, how about this being a tie now between styles and downs? This is close. I told you this would be one of the closest votes we have.
Starting point is 00:22:57 It's, I mean, even Matt, Malignola getting 14% is a big slice of the pie. I know. Stiles has a 1% lead over downs right now. Oh, man. While we're letting this, I want to let this vote marinate for another minute. Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:23:15 Before you say that, should we start a new poll that's just styles and downs? Because it's so close. That's a good call. Okay, Tyler, Tyler, let's do a new poll that's just. Great call. Stiles and downs. So people can revote.
Starting point is 00:23:27 And then that will, I think that that will allow us to. make the correct opinion here. Josh Rebar, thank you for the $100 super chat. Oh, my goodness. He said, can't wait for my free hat, haven't been able to make the last few live shows due to work, currently locked out and on the picket line, hashtag Union Strong. Good luck out there, Josh.
Starting point is 00:23:45 We appreciate your support, man. Did Josh win the, he must have won one of the hats, which, by the way, I sent off a good chunk of the hats, including the free hats that we gave away on the Discord. last week so that hat should be coming pretty quickly here. And then I just wanted to let you guys know that there are only five hats left. They are all white hats. They have the green rope instead of the white rope, the one that I have on right now.
Starting point is 00:24:11 There are only five left. So just type in like Shopify, NFL stock exchange, NFLSC, whatever it is. And you'll find the link for it. I can't remember exactly what it is. But there's only five of these bad boys left and they're going out later this week. So, dude, it's still 50-50. Oh my gosh. and there's been almost 300 votes on each side.
Starting point is 00:24:29 This is unbelievable. This is crazy. This is more entertaining than I thought it was going to be. While we're waiting for this pack to someone to separate at some point, Dog Guy New York City, thank you so much for the another $100 super chat. You guys have been extremely generous. Holy cow, but especially lately.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Trevor, keep up the great work. CR. Barham over Moore is spot on. Yeah, I have J. Sean Barham over Derek Moore. Can I hear a Go Blue from Michigan tonight? I'll give you a go, Blue. I have no dog in the fight. So best of luck if you're a Michigan fan out there tonight, hopefully a good game.
Starting point is 00:25:05 I wonder if Michigan wins by like 20. Seven and a half point favorites for a national title game. That's crazy. That's really wild, but I guess they're that good. Loaded, though. Yeah, they're very good. I guess they're that good. Their best player might barely play.
Starting point is 00:25:19 And they're their favor by seven and a half. That is absolutely ridiculous to think about. Yeah, especially when their best. player's name is Yaxel Lendenborg. In a sport that has five people on the court at once. You're down your best player and you're still favored by that much. Wild. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:39 It's truly wild. Barham over more. Ooh, we'll have to dig into that when we do the Big Board episode. Yes. I think we're going Caleb Downs here. I think we're by. It is, it is. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Oh my gosh. Tony Stout. All right. I'm going to give a shot clock. You got 10 seconds. nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, it's nuts. Three, two, one. Oh my gosh, it's Caleb Downs.
Starting point is 00:26:11 It's Caleb Downs ends up winning by about five votes. This is more entertaining than I even thought that it possibly could have been. This is incredible. We need to do stuff like this more off. So for those in the chat, I saw some people saying tied, the percentages will stay tied even when the votes are separate by a couple each time. Yeah. So that time we couldn't wait for the percentages to be separate.
Starting point is 00:26:32 It was about 367 to 361. It was the final. By the way, shout out to the addicts for this much participation. When we were planning this show, we were like, hopefully each one gets about 200 votes to have almost 1,000. Yeah. On one player. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Thank you everybody. Again, anybody who is just joined late because I know there's a lot of YouTube people that kind of like feed in as we start the show, we're doing the vote on the Discord. So sign up for the NFLSD discord. It is free. It's just a couple of clicks, boom. And then you're right there and you're able to vote for all of this.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Me, right? Yes. You. Yes. The Cleveland Browns here at number six overall. I will take Francis Maui Noah here. I would like for this to be an offensive line pick for them. I think that he makes a ton of sense because he is more of that man in gap scheme,
Starting point is 00:27:18 power running type of offensive linemen. I think he could play guard for you, but I also think he could play tackle. I think they're going to need an offensive tackle very, very soon. And he seems to be exactly the type of offensive linemen that new head coach, Todd Monkin, as sort of like orchestrated as they picked up a couple of new bodies in free agency. So you're back up now with the Washington commanders at seven. Commanders at seven, it's what a world, right, where I could pick between Jeremiah loves, Sunny Stiles and Carnell Tate.
Starting point is 00:27:48 I think any commanders fan would love, love to see this. It actually makes it more difficult. Usually one of the three are here and you just go with them. Oh, man. I'm not going to lie. I'm really just torn between love and styles. Okay. I'm not thinking Tate because both are here.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Bain is still here as well. Oh, and Bain is here. Yeah, and Bain is absolutely worth a selection here. Yeah. I'm going to go with Sunny Stiles, Trev. Okay. I'm going to get some speed and tenacity in the middle of the defense. A defense that was so bad last year and disappointing.
Starting point is 00:28:22 They went out and got. OA to rush the passer. You had Nick Cross at safety. I would love to see Jaden Daniels in a backfield with Jeremiah Love, but maybe they can make it work with some of the backs on their roster and another pick later on, even though I know they're short of picks.
Starting point is 00:28:38 But Stiles is kind of a tone setter for a middle of a defense that needs a new attitude. All right. So we got Sonny Stiles. Best off ball linebacker, pure off ball linebacker, I should say, depending on how you are, Velry. Yeah. So now we've got the
Starting point is 00:28:51 New Orleans Saints on the, the board here at number eight. This is back to the people. So the chef has Rubin Bain Jr., Carnell Tate, Jeremiah Love. I think that we should put Mackay Lemon in here at least. Really? Yeah, sure. Yeah. No, absolutely. I think there's plenty of people. Perhaps one even among us on this very show on camera, who potentially might still have Lemon as that wide receiver. one. Delaine's got to be on here. Oh yeah, Delane's got to be on there as well. Do we, so do we take Jeremiah Love off because of A-chan? Because of A-chan and do we put Germand McCoy there? I don't know. Was it 4-3-8? Not good enough for you, brother? I love Jermad McCoy.
Starting point is 00:29:49 This is a little bit of like a less is more approach. I'd almost be fine with a, I guess give the chat more options to work with. Yeah, yeah, then we can narrow it down. So we see saying Jay Love is still in. All right. So people are saying keep love. All right. Keep love. It's their vote.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Their pick. Who are I to rain on the attic's room? Go ahead. Go ahead. All right. All right. Let's see it. Let's see it.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Vote away, people. Vote away. Rubin Bain off to an early lead. Again, this is dopamine like I never thought that we were going to have here. Bain off to an early lead here. 54%. Wow. Run away freight train.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Carnell Tate second at 22%. And we've got Delane. You know, he's coming up here right around 15%. If you're audio only, I'm going to try my best to sort of like narrate what's going on here on this show. But this is kind of one of those episodes where if you're listening on your commute, obviously we very much appreciate you listening to the show and everything.
Starting point is 00:30:44 But this might be one that you need to, that you need to just pop on the old YouTube after you get home from work as well. It's a visual experience. It is. In hindsight, like in two years when AI takes over the world, we could have picked out a, a voice for the addicts voting pick like Rocky and Project Tell Mary.
Starting point is 00:31:02 But I think that the state of our technology right now, you and I just have to narrate this. Whoa, easy with the Project Tail Mary spoilers. No spoilers. Yeah, easy. Easy. Easy. I mean, I'm ready to call TKO here.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Yeah, I think we should. Yeah, before somebody gets really hurt. It's Bain. Yeah, yeah. Ruben Bain beating the crap out of his competition is, actually a very symbolic pick here. Full mount and pounding away. Whoops. Whoa, easy. So Rubin Bain here, number eight overall to the New Orleans Saints, which puts me back up on the board for the Kansas City Chiefs. I'll take Carnell Tate here. I think Carnell Tate is an ideal
Starting point is 00:31:51 wide receiver for this team. Like even with everybody who is currently on their wide receiver roster. If everybody's healthy, if everybody's available, I mean, Xavier Worthy has not developed into the downfield threat that they have wanted him to be. He is more of that after the catch type of a receiver. Rishie Rice, obviously at his best, is that as well. They need a vertical stretching type of guy who's got speed, but also contested catchability. So Carnell Tate to me, I know they got a lot of different options, but to me, Tate just gives you so much weaponry now in the passing game when Patrick Mahomes gets back from that ACL. So Carnell Tate, number nine overall to the Kansas City
Starting point is 00:32:26 chiefs. All right, that puts me on the clock for the Bengals at 10. Fascinating scenario, right? Because Downs is gone. All the edge guys are gone. I mean, Jeremiah Love is still there. Now we get into interesting Jeremiah Love territory. Yeah, this is a scenario where if you're the Bengals, wouldn't you just like want to get out of the pick for somebody to take love? That would be... Who's going to trade up for love? Minnesota. Oh.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Do we do it to him? Who picks for Minnesota here? Let's see. You addicts me. You addicts me. You addicts me. Is this something that might interest you? Yes.
Starting point is 00:33:23 Yes. This kind of rules, actually. Yeah, this is fun. I mean, I don't know what the price would be here. Hold on. Yeah, I'll give you some kind of idea in a second. It's not going to be cheap. Yeah, it's not egregious.
Starting point is 00:33:37 I'm getting 33.3 repeating, of course. Rated Survival. Okay, so 1,300 points, 900 points. That's a 400 point difference. What's their next pick? What do they have here? 49. I don't think they do it for 49.
Starting point is 00:33:57 How about 49 and 99? 97. Bengals fans, if you're out in the chat, is that too much? For Jeremiah Love? Who gives a crap about pick 97? You have pick 82. No, I would do like 82 and 97. Oh, no, the Bengals cannot accept that.
Starting point is 00:34:21 They should just take him, if that's the point. Take him? Yeah, just take him. Hey, Chase Brown to razor. Yeah, sorry, Chase Brown. I got him in Dynasty. What are you doing? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:31 You can't do that to be. me. All right, fine. Take 49. I don't care. Let's do this. I just want to, I like the idea of this. No, not 97.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Don't give him 97. They can't get, don't listen to him. He can't get 97 as well. You almost snuck, you almost snuck 97 in there. Give him 196. Give 100 picks later. Yeah, get him out.
Starting point is 00:34:56 All right, we force trade. All right, so the Vikings come up for Jeremiah Love. There you go. There you go. my love at number 10. So the people are up with the Miami Dolphets, right? They are. This is.
Starting point is 00:35:09 So people are yelling that like Jonathan Gerard might be in the trade. Sure. I think that's interesting. Yeah, that's an interesting. Great idea that we've got there. I like it. Let's do it. And 97, you know, while we're here,
Starting point is 00:35:24 I just put 97 back on the table. Why don't we put 97 back on the table, you know? I want my picks back. And the returner. What's unc yelling about? That would be me and the worm. I'd mute the Brown's GM and be like, what is unc yelling at?
Starting point is 00:35:44 What's unc yelling about? Oh, man. The Dolphins in 11. We're basically putting every player in the draft on the table. As you should. Mansour Delane, Dylan Thinemann, McCoylemon,
Starting point is 00:36:01 Jordan Tyson, and Jermon McCoy. The only other one that I would throw in here is Vega-O-Wane, right? He's that good. Because I think we have to give them a trench option here. Yeah, and he's, I mean, you think of like the Green Bay style, bigger, tougher. They need to start remaking the team that way, this Green Bay regime in Miami. Yeah, Vanga, Vanga should be at least an option for them.
Starting point is 00:36:30 I'm with you. Let's hit it. He's one of the best players in the draft. Start the poll there. Yeah, somebody said Vega and Fano. Fano, we took Fano at number three overall. Ooh, Delane. Oh, Vega.
Starting point is 00:36:44 See, I'm glad we put him in there. We got Vega at like 30%. Delane's at 45% though, right out of the gate. Yeah. No love for the skill position, guys. Look at this. The Inamins only a 4%. Mackay Lemon's at 9.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Tyson's at 4. McCoy's at 8. We get the lane almost at 50% of the votes now. Yeah. Oh, good showing by Venga, though, for sure. Yeah, yeah. I'm glad that we put Iowna on there. It's not close enough to where I'd have a revote at this point.
Starting point is 00:37:15 It's 48% for Delane. We were almost over 600 votes. So it's almost 50% from Delane and then Yonne is right around 28%. This is, uh, it looks like it looks like the people are going to want to, uh, the lane here. I mean, it makes sense. The, the, the, the, the dolphins depth chart is just abysmal. It needs a lot of work.
Starting point is 00:37:39 It does. I know we say it every show like this team's terrible, but they're, you know, they're just trying to completely revamp the roster. So, uh, for anybody, because I, I just realized that we have a thousand more people who are watching live than the last time I checked. So if you have just joined the way that we are doing this here with the people and with the chat is that they are voting on the NFLSC Discord. You can get in the.
Starting point is 00:38:03 Discord for free with a couple of clicks by just going to the description of the show. Audio only people, I know that you're sick of me saying that. I'm sorry. We're just, you know, we're trying to make the best experience. All right, let's call it here. Let's get Mansour Delane onto the Miami Dolphins. That was almost, he almost got. Yeah, they were the Delane team. On to the Cowboys. Yeah, what did I say? On to the Miami Dolphins. Oh, no, I said Delane on the Miami Dolphins. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, actually, onto the Miami Dolphins is what I was saying. Delane is going on to, you know, like on top of or within. He's riding the dolphin.
Starting point is 00:38:39 Correct. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So we're getting Delane to really improve the talent of that cornerback room in Miami. And now I'm up with the Dallas Cowboys here. By the way, I see some people in the chat talking about the discord. It is in the episode description. If you need to join there.
Starting point is 00:38:59 I know, I know, say, you know, hey, can you put it in the chat? All you have to do if you're in the chat is open the episode. description and you could join right there so i don't just so you know the reason why we're not posting the link into the chat on youtube is i don't know if youtube likes like like like do that like let's read it doesn't like uh yeah yeah yeah so i i don't think that we're really allowed to do that so we have it in the description of the youtube channel so again if you're watching on your phone or desktop just scroll a little bit down and you guys will be we're rule followers around here yeah yeah yeah we're nerds of course
Starting point is 00:39:33 Dallas Cowboys at 12 Dylan Thinamond's on the board Oh That's good Jamon McCoy's on the board I know it was after that whole Jerry Like we're not taking injured players And then McCoy has a sick workout
Starting point is 00:39:50 And it's like You sure about that Trade out People are saying trade out There's nothing on estimate in the chat Just said cowards I didn't see what else he said I think he just is calling us cowards
Starting point is 00:40:05 Which is fair I suppose that that is We're owning it. Mackay Lemon, they're not going to pick Lemon. I'm going to go Thinaman. There you go. Yeah, I'm going to go Thineman. I'm going to go Thineman here.
Starting point is 00:40:23 It makes a ton of sense. We've done this a bunch of times. It really is just an exercise of me trying to see like, is there something else that makes more sense than that? But I just don't think that it does. I think McCoy being able to run and work out was great. Obviously, the Cowboys feel great about him. He's going to be on the board as well.
Starting point is 00:40:39 But I think Thinamon's a stud. I think the range that he has. as a player both in run defense and coverage is fantastic. He can play true single high center field or roles for you. Again, whether that's in coverage or coming up in run defense. He's a little bit smaller of a secondary player for the NFL, especially measured in as a safety. But this guy's got the tenacity.
Starting point is 00:40:58 He's got the athleticism. He's got the football IQ that you want. So theme him into the Cowboys, and I think he's a game changer for them on the back end there. So now you are up with the Los Angeles Rams. Yeah, the Rams here, they've done a lot of work in their secondary. in this offseason.
Starting point is 00:41:14 And so not, you know, as much as McCoy is one of the best players on the board. Not really leaning there. For me, it's just, it always goes back to receiver, honestly. Like, this is a really good roster. Yeah. But you just look at the time that Devante Adams misses. Puka and rehab. I mean, obviously, we think he's going to be ready to go when camp opens.
Starting point is 00:41:36 But you just can't be a couple things going wrong at wide receiver to, to, you know, what is it going to be? Jordan Whittington and Connecticut and Mumfield. Nothing against those guys' depth, but I would want to add another difference maker here. Okay. For me, that, for this team, it's consistently Jordan Tyson. Mackay Lemon, if you just want to put him in the slot,
Starting point is 00:42:02 fits that as well. I saw some people saying Sadiq as a slot. They already, they already play 13 personnel with their three tight ends. So it would be funny if they took another tight end. So the only, so I don't know if you saw this clip from DJ was on Mina's show. And he was talking about like Lemon versus Tyson. It seemed like like Mina was really in on Tyson being a pick here for the Rams. And DJ was like, hey, he's talented.
Starting point is 00:42:25 But I just don't know if he does the dirty work stuff that the Rams asked their wide receivers to do. Like what Pooka, like they asked Pooka to do. Jordan Whittington, I think is another perfect example of like. That's Wittington's game. 100%. And so that's the only thing that I would like throw at you. is you know I love the talent of Jordan Tyson as well. But is he a Rams fit?
Starting point is 00:42:47 I do kind of agree with DJ and that I've got question marks of how interested they would be in him over if Lemon was still on the board. What do you think about that? That's interesting to me because I think Tyson's a good blocker on film. I think he's gotten better and he's a lot bigger than Lemon. I mean, if a team drafts Mackay Lemon and they think he can block for them from the slide,
Starting point is 00:43:09 I'm going to tell you good luck. He tries. He's tough as hell. When you're that size and all of a sudden, these giant nickels come down and hit you, it's just physics. And I'm not saying Tyson's going to be a monster at it, but it's just, that argument just doesn't work for me. Because I just, if your arguments, well, I'm drafting a lemon because he could do that. No. If you feel that way, you take Denzel Boston, right?
Starting point is 00:43:34 I mean, seriously. Like, once again, I'm not taking Denzel Boston in that range. But if that combo. Who's the best? blocking wide receiver in the class regardless of return on investment receiving talent. That's a great combo. You take Cody Hardy, the tight end from NC State. That's what you do.
Starting point is 00:43:53 Put him in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Put him in the slot. Go ahead. Have a safety come down and try to defend the run. All that to say, I'm going to take Tyson. Good combo. I get it.
Starting point is 00:44:06 A lot of people won't like it. I'll just have somebody will have to be wrong. Ravens. Ravens of 14. The people are back on the clock here. Oh, I'm very interested. I have a feeling they're going to vote for Venga, but it might not be a runaway with Sadiq in the mix as well. Yeah, so the chef just has Yawane and Sadiq. I think the chef is going down the right road here. Chad, anyone else you want on this? Is Jermon McCoy in this?
Starting point is 00:44:31 Because what's, uh, it depends what they think Marlon Humphrey has left. Because they have Wiggins. They do have Wiggins, but yeah, I'll, side of Wiggins. I mean, they signed Chiodobee Ouziated, just like a one-year deal, right? And Humphrey might play more of the slot. Yeah. Oh, somebody, oh, people were saying lemon.
Starting point is 00:44:53 Okay, this is the fastest I've ever seen our chat, by the way. Yeah, let's, let's throw lemon in there. And you know what? Instead of McCoy, let's do Mesdor. Oh, as a past, very, very Raven style edge. Right, right. Okay, let's throw this on there. Let's, I like all four of those.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Somebody mentioned Diego Pavia. Yeah, I mean, the two quarterback system started yeah the two QB system that's just you remember when you remember when you could make your own plays in Madden you could like make your own formations right you could break the game so easily I always I always just tried to break the game as much as humanly possible like having two QB like trying to put like two QBs back there basically like having them even both of them having their hands out which ones get in the ball and then you run like and that you couldn't do this in Madden but it might be like
Starting point is 00:45:41 my mind, my mad scientist's mind when I was a lot younger and didn't know the game very well. It was like, what if the quarterback's doing RPO? And then you hand it off to the other quarterback, but then that quarterback also throws the ball. And I was just like, you just, you can't stop. No, it's, it's really ridiculous what you were able to do in that. Probably why they took it out. Yeah, it is. It is.
Starting point is 00:46:02 They're like, oh, this is actually going to break the game for good. Yeah, yeah. By the way, somebody said, somebody said something in the discord that was funny. You just have to go in there to say it. I'm not going to say it on the show. But I said, I responded to it and I said crying, LMFAO. And somebody responded to me and said, we're watching you right now. You are not crying.
Starting point is 00:46:23 And you know what? That's a fair call out. You're not laughing out loud. Yeah, that's not a fair call out. It's a fair call out. I got caught. I got caught. It's true.
Starting point is 00:46:32 That's a really tough scene for you. Yeah, I got cooked. Absolutely got cooked. All right, Vegas got 64% of the boat. This is the biggest runaway. we've had so far. Yeah, Sadiq's got 17% of the vote. So it's Vega. It's Vega, you'll want a onto this onto this offensive line here for the Baltimore Ravens. Tampa Bay Buccaneers here up at number 15. Perfect. You at the Bucks pick? I like it. Yeah, I didn't plan it this way, but I think this is
Starting point is 00:47:00 leather helmet. Yeah, I would have been surprised if you went a different direction. Yeah, it just, they just have to. You know, I hate being like a broken record here. Like I hear some people be like, all right, yeah, but what about Sadiq? We're like, yeah, I mean, like, what about Jacob Rodriguez in the spot at number 15? Jacob Rodriguez better be Luke Keakley if you're drafting him 15 here for the bucks. Jacob Rodriguez at 15 would be the draft night surprise. Yeah, it would be crazy. Now, I like Jacob Rodriguez.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Like, I think he's a really good football player, and I think he could be a starter in this league, even at a little bit smaller of a size with a little bit less of strength than you normally have with an NFL linebacker. Like, I think he is a good football player. You're drafting him at 15, he's got to be, he's got to be Luke Kikli. Like you're drafting him to be Luke Kikley And if you think he is that, great But if not, you got to take a pass rusher
Starting point is 00:47:44 So I'm gonna go with Mestore here at 15 For the for the Buccaneers All right, that puts me on the clock Oh, look you with the Jets Look at just look at how this fell I really did not do the math Although you'd think after doing 80 of these Where we'd go by threes
Starting point is 00:47:57 You'd have it figured out by now But I'd never really think of it that way The Jets at 16 Ooh, this is very interesting Lemon is there Yeah Yeah. They got Arvorese at the top, courtesy of the addicts. The addicts took Arvel Reese.
Starting point is 00:48:18 This is tricky. Chat really doesn't want me to take lemon, I think, out of selfishness. Is that for the pounders? That might be the pounders. It's probably it's probably a, that might be a foresight. That may be a pounding foresight there, you know. I might let Pounder Nation have Mackay Lemon after all of this. Wow.
Starting point is 00:48:38 I might go I kind of want to just do I've been trying to do some different picks today because like you said we do one of these every week and you run into just doing the same thing over and over again
Starting point is 00:48:52 I'm about it I'm about it let's go Jamad McCoy here once again I don't think this is going to happen I want to be clear I don't think the Jets are taking Jamad McCoy at 16 but let's
Starting point is 00:49:05 show a different draft and the reasoning would be you get a man cover corner that is a legitimate number one with ball skills for a team that could not intercept the football that at his best as we saw in 2024 is a really, really high-end player. I mean, could travel if you needed them to. And once again, I get, I get everything, everyone's responses here. Like, you just traded sauce and then you're just using the 16th pick to try to get a player as good as sauce. And I totally get it here. I don't think this is going to happen. I think it would be more likely they take a lemon or an Omar Cooper or someone of
Starting point is 00:49:43 that. But I do want to do a different draft and start to show some different scenarios. And McCoy for me is a like fringe top 15 player Trev. Yeah. Oh, dude, he's, I think he's top 10 for me. Yeah, I got to look on my latest board real quick. I think him and Delane are nine and 10 maybe for me on my board. He's 15th for me. So yeah. So there you go. Yeah. Somebody in the chat, Sell, Max, in the chat said, Revis Peninsula. Oh, there we got.
Starting point is 00:50:11 Not quite Revis Island, but hey, it's, you're mostly surrounded by water here, but Arbell and McCoy, and then if you end up getting a good wide receiver at 33, it's just interesting. So for the Detroit Lions, the chat is back up here. So we've got some options here for the Detroit Lions. Monroe Freeling, Blake Miller, Keldrick Falk, C.J. Al, I think is who that is that yeah C.J. Allen. I think Tyler, you know what? Let's put Caden Proctor in there instead of,
Starting point is 00:50:50 instead of Caldric Falk, I would say. And then who else? Man. Ooh, people are saying Zion. Oh, that's a very like Dan Campbell, Brad Holmes, big. Three downs. Interesting. Yeah, that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Zion, I keep kind of driving this. I think Zion's going earlier than people have realized. The chat's saying keep Falk in there. All right, let's keep Falk in there. I think the league is a lot higher on Keldrick Falk than... Just every time. Yeah, yeah, I realize what they're doing here. They're going to, they're eventually going to overthrow us,
Starting point is 00:51:30 and Pobby is going to be like pick 32 for the Seahawks or something. Pavia is just, like, quickly ascending into Alfred Collins' lore. Have you... I don't know how complete your big board is, because we're not doing that episode for another like week and a half. But thank God. Where? Do you have a range right now for Keldrick Falk?
Starting point is 00:51:47 I ended, I'm, I'm way lower on him. I'm just way lower on him. This is going to be fascinating to see, you and I are both doing the limbo right now. Okay. I have him 44th. Dude, I think I have him like 64th.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Yeah, I get it. I just, I, just big. He's just big. That's what I DM'd you. He's just big, man. Yeah. And like even, even, even all of the, There's a lot of the speed to power stuff with him where people will go like,
Starting point is 00:52:15 but look at the bulrush. A lot of his best bull rushes, he is lined up as like a wide seven, and he's got four steps before he hits the offensive linemen. When I just, I, it's tough, man. It's just a tough sell for me. It's a tough sell outside of me thinking that he's a four eye defensive end for an odd front. And if that's the case, fine, but that's a day two player for me. That's not a day one player for me.
Starting point is 00:52:40 You and I are going to do, I forget, what did we do last year, Top of hundreds? I think we did. By the way, Tyler, Tyler, you could fire it up here. Yeah, I think we did top 100s. I'll have, I mean, I'll have a top 200. Like, I'll have like a top 250 by the time we get to. You'll easily have that with the amount of players you watch.
Starting point is 00:53:02 I think I'm trying to like make mine a couple players bigger each year. And when I learned I did 320 last year, I was like, oh, man, 325. You did 320 last year? Yeah, last year I did. Damn, you did more reports to me. But this... I bet I'll have 280 this year. This class is harder to do 320
Starting point is 00:53:23 than last year's is the problem. It falls off a cliff. Like, yeah, I'm in... I'm in the sixth and seventh rounds right now, and I am in the trenches. Like, I'm watching some players, bro. I'm like, oh boy. I'm 240.
Starting point is 00:53:38 I'm 245 guys in. And yeah, there's a couple... There's a handful of guys that I know, like, have like 150 to 100 potential range. But I've even watched a couple of those players that I thought were in that conversation recently. And I was like, nope. Nope. Yep. Nope.
Starting point is 00:53:56 All right. So we got Monroe Freeling leading the way here with 42%. But Caden Proctor, not far behind at 32%. How do you feel about both of these guys? Since it's obviously very clearly those two guys who were at the top here for this group. It's weird because I like one fits the lions better. I like Zion Young just the best as out of a, like as a player. We've got 6% of the vote.
Starting point is 00:54:22 So you better start calling your friends and family to stuff the ballots here. You're in trouble. Yeah, this is hopeless. It's not winning that one. I mean, Proctor is at every bit of what they love. We know that. For this team, I actually think Proctor is the place that makes sense. And I get like the concerns over him.
Starting point is 00:54:40 Mm-hmm. But. Dave, in the. Dave in the chat said, so here's how Blake Miller could still win this. He's at 12%. He's still got a chance. We got to extend the vote five days, but he's got a chance. I think this is close enough for a revote.
Starting point is 00:54:56 What do you think? With Procter and Freeling. Yeah, let's rock and roll. All right, Tyler, let's start it over with those two. I think this is close enough. They're at 40% and 37%, 251 votes and 233 votes. Let's reset it here to just those two. And I think it's interesting because,
Starting point is 00:55:16 both of these guys are left tackles. Freeling played left tackle for Georgia. Caden Proctor played left tackle for Alabama. I think Proctor is more of like the build type that I feel as though the lions have gone for just from the trenches overall. Like that gap scheme, try to get them downhill. So again, I don't, I don't,
Starting point is 00:55:39 we'll have these discussions when we do the big board. I'm, I'm Caden Proctor's a guard. I don't know how you feel. about it? Most likely, I will let him fail at tackle, but I won't let him fail for long. Okay, okay. Like I'll pull the plug. I'll probably know in camp. Yeah, I just feel like he can be a phenomenal guard for you. And there are too many times where I rewatched him last week where I just felt like the foot quickness. It's not horrible. It's not horrible. I want to be clear. It is not horrible. But it is slow enough to where I go,
Starting point is 00:56:15 dude, just put him at guard and he's Carl Nicks again. You know, like he's just, he's an all pro guard for you. Yeah. I think he's a mountain if he's a guard. So that's just the way that I look at it. Yeah, I think we're pretty close on that one. So Freeling, I'm actually very surprised by this, Connor. Freeling getting 41% of the vote, Caden Proctor with 59% of the vote.
Starting point is 00:56:35 So I think that we can call it there. Yeah, Proctor has 100 more votes. Yeah, so let's call it there. Let's do Caden Proctor to the Detroit Lions. Cincinnati Bengals now up. you had them trade back. Yeah, this is my pick actually. A little bit of a trade back here.
Starting point is 00:56:51 Yeah, you're going to go, you're going to go back to back, unless you want the people to vote for the pounders. I feel like maybe the people need to vote for the pounders. Yeah, they should probably vote for the pounders. All right, who you take it for Cincinnati, though, before that? This is tricky. I like Emmanuel McNeil Warren.
Starting point is 00:57:10 I need to get better at pulling up my board during this. Um, man. Yeah, that's, it's weird when you factor in the Shamar pick last year because it's like, do they believe in him going this year or are they just going to kind of, you know, go their own way? Did, yeah, Venga went. Okay, Vengo went at the radio. Yeah, he's gone.
Starting point is 00:57:38 Yeah, I'm, I'm going to go with, um, Emmanuel McNeill Warren. Okay. In this spot. Okay. It might feel like a hair early. but they got more capital and they get somebody that can handle a lot of different roles at safety and takes away the football with that peanut punch
Starting point is 00:57:55 and the long arms kind of give them a guy with crazy length in this defense. Did you think about Sadiq at all? Not really, but it's not crazy. Yeah, because I mean they have Gisicki and they have Drew sample, but... Yep. Yeah, so, all right. I saw people talk about Cedic in the chat.
Starting point is 00:58:17 So let's give the people to pick here for the Carolina. We know what they're doing. The pounders. I don't know if we do. I put this on a platter for them by not taking him to the Jets. Yeah, but yeah, but Cade McDonald and Cidique are still here. Clash of the Titans. It truly is.
Starting point is 00:58:36 It's absolutely a Clash of the Titans. Yeah, it's Pavia time. I would put, it's Pavia time. I would do. No, do not put Pavia, Tyler. You know what they will do. You know what they will do. I would put Omar Cooper Jr. here as well.
Starting point is 00:58:52 Yes. He's a really good fit for them. And, oh, man, instead of C.J. Allen, do we put Monroe Freeling with him being here, given the tackle need? This is a place he could actually develop and not have to play right away. Right. Oh, I'm so fascinated by this. I'm still going to put the favorite money on Lemon. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:10 All right. I think, I don't know. Is the meat pound or the runner up? I don't know. Garrett trying to save himself from that lives rent-free in my head. Let's do it. Hit the post. Hit the post.
Starting point is 00:59:27 I cannot wait to see this. Look how fast. Dude, Cade McDonald off to an early lead. See, I told you. Yeah. He's at 40%. Oh, but Lemon's catching up. Lemon is catching up, baby.
Starting point is 00:59:40 Rare acceleration from McPounder. He's closing the gap. Hey, easy, easy. Easy. I love him, but he's not getting on my boy. This usually. McPounder's at 36%. Lemons at 35.
Starting point is 00:59:51 Oh my God. Oh, now, Mikey Lemon's taken over, baby. Lemon down the home stretch. He's taken over down the home stretch. This is electric. Man, I'm surprised at Merle-Frilyling and Omar Cooper Jr. didn't get more of the votes here. Not even a thought.
Starting point is 01:00:07 I think all the Carolina fans just want the McPounder 69 jersey. I think that's probably fair. I just realized that the chef put meat Pounder in parentheses as well. If McDonald ends up on the Panthers, I'm getting the custom jersey. Yeah, you have to. Yeah, you have to. Yeah, it's got to be right behind you. Take that sunset picture.
Starting point is 01:00:30 Get that shit out of it. Get that shit out of here. We're getting one. McPounder 69 Panthers. It doesn't even matter what number he picks. You ever think about how insane if you and I had a custom studio we went into every day, that the ridiculous the decorations would be. One day, perhaps, if we are only so fortunate for that to be the case,
Starting point is 01:00:52 I think that would be awesome. So we've got over 600 votes here, and I'm calling this for Mikai Lemon. I'm calling this for Mackay Lemon. Mackay Lemon to the Carolina Panthers, winning 42% over Caden McDonald getting 35% there. So we're going Lemon to the Panthers there at number 19. The Dallas Cowboys back on the clock here at 20. I will take them here at 20. Yep.
Starting point is 01:01:17 Who did we have? Oh, don't the intimate. Right, right, right, right, right. Good business to be in. Oh, really good business to be in. I am tempted. I am tempted by C.J. Allen, because I'm higher on C.J. Allen than I feel like a lot of other people are.
Starting point is 01:01:44 People have jumped off of that train. Yeah. And I'm not, I'm not ready to. I'm not ready to. And he's a good football player. He's a good football player. He's a good football player. I think that he would be,
Starting point is 01:01:54 I'd be the best middle linebacker on this team, I think. Well, so would you, but yes. I mean, I have been, you know, I have been pretty consistent over the last couple of months, you know. Shrugs. Hitting the compound lifts. But yeah, thank you. Thanks, Big Dog.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Appreciate it. I don't, I think C.J. Allen makes the most sense here for them. Unless, I mean, is Cassius Howell also make a lot of sense for them, even with Rishon Gary? Or does he not? He gives them a different guy unless they, depending on how concerned they are about Azaraku's hip. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:31 But like you already have that guy in a certain way. You kind of do. I see some love for Avion Terrell in the chat. I don't know if it's just me. I'm floored when I see Terrell brought up in this range. So I previously was very much a Avion Terrell in this range type of a person. And then I went back and I did rechecks for him a week ago. And I'm like, he's, I noticed something that I didn't notice previously. What was that? And that is that when he
Starting point is 01:03:08 plays press, he plays bail technique a lot. And the reason why he plays bail technique is because he's not super fast. He can't keep up in man. He can't do it. And I don't know if you saw the reports, but he's been dealing with the hamstring issue, but somebody said, I think this was a private workout for the Falcons, maybe this was at, or maybe it was at his, private pro day that he was doing. He ran like in the four sixes. Yeah, and then it was the hamstring again and I, I don't, I, that worries me a lot because this is a player that I really love the mentality of.
Starting point is 01:03:44 But I think with him having the concerns over man coverage, I think I'm, he is more of a nickel than I previously thought because of lack of long speed concerns. I think he could be an outside corner if you're a heavy zone corner team, but I think that he's so good in run defense. He's so smart. He's so great at playing zone that I also like him a lot as a nickel defender. So I'm not going to pick Avion Terrell here. Who was I going to pick?
Starting point is 01:04:12 Oh, I'll take Cashy Sal. Give me Cashy Sal here. Give me the pass rusher. We'll build the pass rush arsenal. I think that they would, I think they'd be happy with it, which means you're back up with the Steelers at 21. By the way, now that you just made the two picks of the Cowboys, let me ask you this.
Starting point is 01:04:29 I have no idea what you're going to say. Would you rather have Thinaman and Cassius Howl? Or would you rather just have Sunny Stiles? For this team. See, I'm glad you're at least thinking about it. I'd rather have Thineman and Cashers-Sall. Yeah, it's probably what most would say. But it is fascinating when you think of like,
Starting point is 01:04:54 They have 12 and they have 20. And then you do a million of the exercises and you're like, man, would I rather just have a pick for one of the blue chip defenders in the front seven than two? I don't know. It's just something to think about. Yeah. I think I would rather have both of those guys in Sony styles. And I go the other way, by the way.
Starting point is 01:05:12 You take styles? Yeah, I would take, for Dallas. Like specifically how I look at Dallas on paper. It's a good, it's a good conversation. It's a good conversation. But, yeah. Okay. Steelers are 20.
Starting point is 01:05:24 one. Yep. I'm not going to take Ty Simpson. We've had the Monroe Freeland combo, I believe, because of Broderick's struggles at tackle. Call me crazy on this one. I know they have Michael Pittman and D.K. McCaff. Is Omar Cooper crazy here? I would take an offensive line before I'd take a wide receiver for them. But you also love Cooper more than me. So I think this gets into like you love the player. Here's my thought here because it does feel a little early, although I do love the player. If Aaron Rogers is coming back to this team, Metcalf and Pittman, they do a lot of really good things.
Starting point is 01:06:16 But the style of play Rogers is playing right now, somebody has to be a yak machine in this offense. He's just getting rid of the ball in like one second or throwing it down the field, hoping Metcalf or Pittman will make a play in this scenario. They don't have anyone like this, in my opinion. I'm going to say Omar Cooper. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:37 You love them. Yeah, I do. I definitely do like this player a little more than consensus right now. Chats up with the Los Angeles Chargers here at number 22. Very interested to see what the... I don't know what they're going to do. What would we do here? Let's see.
Starting point is 01:06:52 Yeah, Tyler didn't even have any suggestions here for them. Walt McPounder should be on there. I think Cade McDonald is on there for sure. I think, is this where we get into like Chase Bissontas and Manuel Pregnon range? Man, it just feels a hair early. But the chat, it's like overwhelming feedback on Emmanuel Pregnon. Okay, so let's put the Cretinon in there. I'm pulling the Joe Shane.
Starting point is 01:07:20 Let's go get your guy, buddy. Let's roll the dice. Well, we'll take your guy, I guess. It's your guy, though, okay? If it doesn't work out, you're fired. I'm not. I think Kenyon Sadiq should also be in here because Gadsden's listed as the tight end one. Charlie Kohler's more of a blocker.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Yep. But Gadsden's much more of a receiver than a tight end. The safeties are off the board. Boston? Yeah, we can put Denzel Boston in there. He's not going to win this, but he's not. Let's see. What's the chat saying?
Starting point is 01:08:06 Zion Young. A lot of Keldrick Falk and T.J. Parker, which I didn't expect. All right, okay. So let's do Falk. And then instead of Boston, do T.J. Parker. Instead of Boston, do T.J. Park. Because it doesn't feel like Denzel Boston is going to get it. By the way, I get it.
Starting point is 01:08:21 But who's trading into this pick right now? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just, we got to be honest. We did one trade, and it's because Jeremiah Love fell to 10. Okay. Let's go with this one. Let's see, let's see what the chat. Votes for here with the Chargers.
Starting point is 01:08:35 Pregnon. 46% right out of the gate. McPounder at 23%, 25%, 26%. Ooh, this is decently even here. Pragnon has really become a favorite of this fan base. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:51 He's a good player, I get it. You feel good about your offensive line if you plug him into it. Sadiq at 17, 18%. McPounder falling downwards. Somebody said, Denzel Boston so ass, I have to vote for him. I think you guys are way too low on Denzel Boston.
Starting point is 01:09:14 The Discord is not Denzel Boston fans. I can see that. I don't know what it is with this guy, but he is not liked by draft fans. I know. I like Denzel Boston quite a bit. I do too. And like I think I think a lot of people just don't naturally, and I understand this, like they just don't naturally like some of the, the, the guy.
Starting point is 01:09:39 that aren't very obvious separating receivers. Like I tweeted about this this morning with Omar Cooper Jr. And Elijah Surat where it was kind of like a, I still have Surat over Omar Cooper Jr. Like I did when we did the wide receiver episode. But it's close. Like I like both of these players. And to be honest with you, I think they play completely different positions when it comes to wide receiver work.
Starting point is 01:10:02 Like Serat's going to play as a big slot where you can allow him to truly manipulate zone coverages and just be a beast when it comes to creating that. separation of finding those soft spots in the zone, whereas Omar Cooper Jr. is going to be much more of a player that you could play as a Z on the outside. You can play them in the slot too, obviously. He played a lot in the slot in Indiana. But he's somebody who's going to win for you vertically. Like he's going to be able to create that separation vertically. And I think that there's a lot of people out there that when you don't have a player who can separate like extremely well, a lot of that doubt creeps in. And when I look at players like Surat and when I look at players like Boston, I don't just throw them
Starting point is 01:10:39 to the side, I think you have to really try to truly appreciate where they win and see if that's translatable. I think for both of those guys it is. So that, and I think that both of those guys also win with a lot of high football IQ and how they create that separation as well. So that's, I feel like that was an interesting sort of point that the discord's making and one that I think is worth talking about. I'm ready to call this Emmanuel Pregnan with a pretty hefty win at 43%. All right. Emmanuel Pregnon. So I'm up with the Eagles. what the bolt-up comment why wait no it's not back i just thought of it again
Starting point is 01:11:16 oh i did i totally forgot what that was we're not trying to inside joke you guys here we don't want to repeat it it's a good one but it was from a previous show the philadelphia eagles here at 23 uh tie simpson sure
Starting point is 01:11:39 Screw it. No, no, no, I'm not taking time. I'm kidding. For the Eagles. Monroe Freeling, this is actually a spot where I would, I would like Monroe Freeling a lot. The man, or Sadiq. Or Sadiq, obviously. This is one of those places where I'm like, I look at Sadiq and I'm like.
Starting point is 01:11:53 Makes a ton of sense. I mean, I'm surprised you're not thinking of your guy, Blake Miller. If he's in the first round, this is a team that I, he is somebody who I, I, you know, you know, I like Blake Miller a lot. So I think that he's absolutely on the board here. When I think about Philly, I often lean towards like Maxiana Cherm and Roe Freeland just because it's like, oh, those guys need time to, you know, sit and wait a little bit.
Starting point is 01:12:17 Blake Miller doesn't need that, so I just don't think of that as often with the Philadelphia Eagles. But I'll go Kenyon City. Give me Kenyon City here. I think that that's an easy pick to make here for Philly. So you're up with the Cleveland Browns. The Browns, who did they get with their first pick? I think I took French Maui. So I don't need.
Starting point is 01:12:36 No, you don't. That tackle. Yeah. I'm going to take Denzel Boston. Speaking of that combo. Okay. What's it? You just, the second we had the Boston conversation and everybody's like, we hate Boston,
Starting point is 01:12:55 you're just like, you know what? I'm doing it. The first opportunity that you had, you were like, screw him. That's what I think, actually. I haven't met 22. So, um, I love it. I like Denzel. I love him, you know, Coldstone again.
Starting point is 01:13:08 But I like Denzel Boston a good amount. So I am totally fine with this. Yes. Get a perimeter threat, although Monkin will move them around. This is the fascinating combo with the Browns. It's tackle first, then receiver, receiver first, then tackle. But in this scenario, they get Maui Noah and Denzo Boston. Okay, let's have a little fun here with the chat.
Starting point is 01:13:29 You ready for this one? Oh, yeah. Okay, hold on. Let me make sure that I have the appropriate amount of draft picks. So it's Chicago at 25. It is Chicago at 25. I'm trying to defeat the allegations that I don't care about the audio only listeners.
Starting point is 01:13:45 You? Why? What would you do? I just wanted to make sure those... Is this only pointed towards you? Because if it is, that's a movement I can get behind and support from the grassroots level so you can just become more of a villain on the show. You might be driving it.
Starting point is 01:13:59 Yeah. I'm actually typing in the Discord right now. Hey, do you hear Connor said F only audio only listeners before the show? Under an alias. Here's what I would do here, Tyler. I would have T.J. Parker. I would have Caden MacDonald. I would have Keldrick Falk. And then the one that I think that we should do for fun here is trade for Dexter Lawrence because they have 25 and they have an extra second round pick because of the bills trade. So they would essentially just be picking Dexter Lawrence at 25. And then they would also have either 57 or 60 as the first round pick and second round pick that you would get for Dexter Lawrence. This is a very well-timed trade. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Okay, Tyler, can you do Zion Young instead of Keldrick Falk? And then in the- In parentheses for Dexter Lawrence, can you just say first and second? Okay. I am very curious here because a lot of people, a lot of people are saying Zion Young. And I think- Chad is overwhelmingly in favor of Zion Young.
Starting point is 01:15:17 We are getting some love for big decks. Let's see. Let's see what the chat says. Let's see what the chat says. Opera in the Discord says, can they afford Lawrence? Like cap-wise, don't know. You can do anything you want with the cat. And that's my answer for that.
Starting point is 01:15:32 I don't know. More people should operate how you just did. I don't know. Stop Googling over the cap in the middle of the stream. Stop being a numbers nerd during the show. Just say, I don't know. We'll figure it out, though. Dead money?
Starting point is 01:15:46 Not my problem. I'll be fired by the time that dead money kicks in. Also, they're totally going to redo the contract anyways, so wouldn't they be able to move the money around for that anyways? I'm sure. Yeah, Peter says he can fix the cap. I agree. All right, Peter, you're hired.
Starting point is 01:16:00 I think he totally can. Imagine the first press release after one of us becomes GM is Peter hired as capologist. Yeah, I mean, I would. Yeah. I'm very serious. You got to get them on staff. All right. So the Dexter Lawrence trade is at 50%.
Starting point is 01:16:17 The Zion Young pick is it 25%. Caden McDonald is it 20%. Yeah, love for Chicago McPounder. All right, looks like we're doing the Dexter Lawrence trade. Yeah. 51%. Even if you think it's not just Bears fans, it's got to be some in there because that's a big number.
Starting point is 01:16:40 Okay, so let's trade. So we'll get the New York Giants back on the board here. Give them 25 and it doesn't matter, 57. Yeah, sure, force the trade. The New York Giants back on the board here at number 25. So now the people get to pick again for the New York Giants. So they took who at five? Yeah, who did have, who would we have them?
Starting point is 01:17:01 Oh, Caleb Downs. That was a vote from the addicts. That was a vote for the addicts. The addicts are now controlling Harbaugh's war room. Okay, so let's go Monroe Freeling, Blake Miller, Caden McDonald. Their run defense stinks.
Starting point is 01:17:23 They're not going to trade Dex just to draft DT though, are they? Feels like with Dex, it's more about the money than the player. He's still really good even after a not-so-great year. I don't think they're going to trade him. All right, let's go C.J. Allen. Let's go Blake Miller. Let's go Casey Concepcion. Wow.
Starting point is 01:17:48 And let's go McPounder. And let's go Cade McPounder. My money's on McPounder in blue. Okay. All right, all right. Let's see what it is. Let's see what it is, people. Let's see.
Starting point is 01:17:57 What do you got? I might have to, I might have to log on to the Discord real quick. Actually, that's a lie. I never log off. I don't write messages a lot, but I'm in there. I know. I really do. I do a lot more reading.
Starting point is 01:18:11 I like observing. Yeah. So McPounder in Dita is 52% of the votes. Oh. Yeah, we got some Hodor fans in the house. I did not, brother. An unbelievable analogy. And for anybody that missed the defensive tackle episode
Starting point is 01:18:28 where Connor compared Caden MacDonald to Hodor from Game of Thrones holding the door and that's how he holds the line of scrimmage. I mean, that was an all-timer. That was an all-timer by you, my friend. Thank you. It was an incredible. We're trying the social media is these days to grow the show.
Starting point is 01:18:44 So, Freelings at 18%. Concepcion's at 17% and you're in. And Cade McHodore. Hodor McHodor. Hodor is at 45%. here and he's going to be a member of the New York Giants now. There we go. There it is.
Starting point is 01:19:00 45%. Do you see what Peter said in the chat? Yes. He said Trevor and Connor reading the Discord like it's visiting the zoo. Walk up with a cookie. Sometimes. Vote for a counter to the Giants. Okay.
Starting point is 01:19:23 The Buffalo Bill is here at 26. Is this me? I think it's just me. I believe so. Yes, it is you. Back to you. Christian Miller or CJ Allen. Christian Miller. Jacob Rodriguez is in the combo here, Trev?
Starting point is 01:19:44 I like CJ Allen more than I like Jacob Rodriguez. So, like, yeah, he would be if Alan was off the board. But actually, you know what? Who do I have higher on my big board? Take a look. Take a look. We're giving you guys some sneak peeks to the big board here. Uncle Phil said.
Starting point is 01:20:02 On the bills, no Parker for the love of Christ, Miller or KC, or else Granny stays in Safeway. Safeway. That's a new twist on a famous meme. So I have CJ Allen ranked two spots ahead of Christian Miller on the board. However, for grandmother's sake, we can't have her stay in Safeway. We got to get Granny out of the same way to give him an actual nose tackle here. She's not even finding any good deals. No, no, get her out of there.
Starting point is 01:20:31 Let's go Christian Miller for the Buffalo Bill. at 26. You're up with the Niners at 27. Nineers at 27. This is always where I like to get McCoy off the board and then he worked out. So those days are over. This is a team that I, because I've been a little lower on Concepcion than Consensus, but this is the team I actually really like him on, really like him on, just his separating skills in Kyle's offense. But the O-line board also broke pretty well here for them. It did. I mean, it can't be Trump Williams forever on this team. It could be. In theory, it actually could be. Yeah, yeah. Have you ever thought about the fact that it could be, though?
Starting point is 01:21:18 He's just there. He's 63 years old playing left tackle. When they sign him to a lifetime contract, they mean it. They actually mean it. Oh, man. I like this from Shane. Take Keldrick Falk and lean into having no pass rush. Michael Williams and Caldrick Falk, 2% win rate. Unfortunately, unfortunately would be par for the course for what the Niners have done recently, I feel like. Let's go Monroe Freeling. Okay. They never take offensive linemen with a premium like this,
Starting point is 01:21:51 and I think they should kind of start to buck that trend. All right, the chats back up here for the Houston Texans. Man, we got a lot of options here. Caleb Banks, I'd put Peter Woods on here. as well. Yep. I want to throw one on here for a lapse. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:10 Judarian Price. I was just about to say, are we throwing Judarian Price in here to give the chat the option? If they want to pick a running back, go ahead. It's your show. One third of it is.
Starting point is 01:22:22 At least. Anature. Yeah, let's go. Yeah, Yonature, I think we could put in here. Anybody else? I feel like these are the... A smidge early for Bissontas, but I saw a lot of love for him in the chat. Oh, yeah, okay.
Starting point is 01:22:43 Let's go Bissontas. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's get Bissontas in there. That's it. Tyler, he just had bison ridden before he finished Bessontas. And he's just like, who's bison? But I think that's a decent nickname for Chase Bessantus, the bison. All right, let's do it.
Starting point is 01:23:04 These five players here for the Uson, Texans. Vote. Vote. Fam. Oh, wow. Peter Woods, early lead at 32%. Max Ionature right on his heels at 30.
Starting point is 01:23:18 Man, it's close. It's real close. Yeah, this is very back and cool. Judarian, probably is the only one who's got single digit percent of the votes. And you guys are off and running. Now it's Eonature at 37%. Peter Woods at 34%. Eonature, pulling away here.
Starting point is 01:23:35 Which I really love. I really love the idea of him. They signed Braden Smith. He can play right tackle for you for a little bit. Then the honorature gets to develop that right tackle spot. You feel pretty good about that. You know, him and Arionte Urshry. I feel like that's a nice one-two combo for the long haul there.
Starting point is 01:23:50 Peter Woods, right at 35%. Maxi Annas, you're now at 44. The Space Beast in the chat said, where's the poll? If you click on the info of the show on YouTube, the link to our Discord is there where you could vote. Yes. With the 500 to000 other addicts voting, which is... By the way, if you're enjoying this episode
Starting point is 01:24:10 or anything else that we've done on the NFL stock exchange, we're trying to get the 75. 5K subscribers here before we get to draft weekend. We're over 63,000 right now. We've got a ton of momentum over the last week, which we really appreciate you guys for. But if you enjoyed hanging out with this, getting involved with this interactive show,
Starting point is 01:24:27 which we feel like it is every time. We'd love for you to subscribe, be part of the addicts, and come back and see us on the next episode. I think it's Maxionature. He started to run away. He's got about 50 more votes now than Peter Woods. All right, all right.
Starting point is 01:24:40 Maxionature, it is. At 45% getting the dub there. So now I'm with the Chiefs at 29. Who did I take for them? Oh, Carnell Tate. Let's see. Who do I like next for them? I think this is where you start to talk about offensive tackle, right?
Starting point is 01:25:07 I mean, you could, Caleb Lomo, we haven't mentioned his name yet, but I think you start to think about him. Yeah, it goes back to your Blake Miller combo. Yeah, I think T.J. Parker could be solid as well. Casey Concepcion is just so much of what they already have. Yeah, that's. that's a no for me the chiefs needs to well we already have to take tait in this draft is zion oh yeah yeah do do do is zion young still on the board where do we take oh yeah he is so on the board yeah because the bears traded for decks that's where he always goes yeah man zion young
Starting point is 01:25:48 he's he's they're type but he's just better you know like he's their type with action jolotti and felix on dk ozama and george carloftus but he's just like he's an amazing immediate starter for them. Alfie Curtis said Malachi Lawrence spot? If they just want pure pass rush. Potentially, potentially. But they would be different than the guys that they have on their roster, which isn't bad.
Starting point is 01:26:14 You know, different isn't bad. Somebody also was talking about potentially Colton Hood as well. You know, corner. I would take C-Saysay before Hood, but the chiefs again. Is that right? Yeah, yeah. We got to do corners. I think we have very different.
Starting point is 01:26:30 I'm excited to do corners. Think we'll have very different rankings. Do we not do the corner episode yet? No, we did corners over summer. We have not. I just finished watching corners this week, like the end of the class this weekend. I was like, we never did corners.
Starting point is 01:26:43 I'm going to take Zion. I'm going to take Zion young here for the Chiefs. You're getting a great player at 29. That's what it's all about. You're back up here for the dolphins who took Mansour Delane. Okay, so they've, they had, that was from the chat. Yes. Man, as a player, I like,
Starting point is 01:27:02 Colton Hood here, but I'm not going to go double corner. Why did I think you went O-line for them? That's bizarre. Oh, the chat made this pick. Yeah, yeah, right, right, right. Of course. Really quickly, while you think about that, Jeff gave us a $50 super chat said, hey guys, got here late from work. Had a question about the Bucks pick that affects both of your teams. Is there any Ty Simpson to the Jets at 16 talk or for real talk?
Starting point is 01:27:27 Because if I'm the Bucks, is there any team that wants to jump the Jets? Jets for him. The Bucks have so many different holes on defense. Yeah, I mean, if they can drum up interest and like if the Jets are somewhat interested in Ty Simpson, but it just doesn't feel, you would know more than me, but I just don't feel like there's interest there. I haven't heard anything on that front. I've been consistent on this show that I don't think the Jets are taking a Simpson at 16, although a lot of people in the media disagree with that. So everybody hearing different things. I don't think he's a fit with Frank Reich. I don't think they want to use the 16th pick on a quarterback,
Starting point is 01:28:01 honestly, because their roster's just not very good right now. So that's where I stand. I think there's a combo to be had at 33. But no, I don't see that. But it could be wrong. Appreciate you, Jeff. Thank you for the Super Chair. Yeah, thank you, Jeff.
Starting point is 01:28:17 Did you? Yes, I made a choice. Okay, who is your choice here? I am going to take Blake Miller here. Okay. Yeah, they need to get just tougher on the offensive line. I also think that Austin Jackson is. playing right tackle for them right now but like i think jackson can play guard for you like you can
Starting point is 01:28:33 really get a best five available if you draft blake miller yeah and i know they they have savania and jammari sell you're at guard right now but like those you're probably looking to upgrade over those guys at some point new england patriots all right chats back up we got a lot of different options here malachi lawrence yep caleb lomu uh t j parker keldrick falk uh we we I think that, I think that kind of covers it for the Patriots. You want to put the AJ Brown shirt on here? Ooh! Now, we'll do that a different draft.
Starting point is 01:29:19 I like it, a different draft. Always save your bullets. Gabe Accus, let's throw Gabe Accus on there. And Casey Concepcion. Let's throw, let's throw those guys on there. And then, yeah, one more for Casey Concepcion. Because I see a lot of love for Concepcion in the chat. We've got six answers here for the New England Patriots.
Starting point is 01:29:37 I think it can go a lot of different directions. Let's hit post And let's see what the Let's see what the votes are here I've seen so much BTJ in the chat I don't think BTJ Sniffs anything close to a first round No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:29:50 I agree, I agree. And I like the player a lot. It still makes his value right now. Concepcion off to an early lead here at 35%. Is this Kyle Williams erasure? It feels like it. Not Kyle Williams is so much faster. Just Kayshon booty eraser?
Starting point is 01:30:09 That's what it is. Hmm, that's sad. Caleb Lomu picking up some steam here at 23%. T.J. Parker's at 18%. Now Kyle Lawrence is at 10 and then Falkanakis. I love Lomo for this team, but they're just not going to move Will Campbell inside. Not yet. Not yet they aren't.
Starting point is 01:30:25 So then you're just betting on Morgan Moses being old and hurt, maybe. He was solid for them last year. All right, so I mean, Lomu's gaining steam here. Concepcion is at 30%. Caleb Lomu is at 28%. Nathan said this is my nightmare as a Bill's fan and an Aggie. Oh.
Starting point is 01:30:47 That is tough. That is tough. That would be tough. Lomu now at 29%. He's within three votes, folks. They're both tied at 30. They're tied at 30%. I think we got to re-vote.
Starting point is 01:31:01 I think we got a re-vote. Let's do the head-to-head. Lomu passed them, by the way. Caleb Lomu and Casey Concepcion, one and two here. Let's see. A lot of people in the Discord are saying that, like, Lomu wouldn't be a good pick because he wouldn't be able to start a left tackle for them. Hey, this is, this is y'all's pick here.
Starting point is 01:31:26 If you want to draft Caleb Lomu to play where Will Campbell does and you, the people are saying, put Will Campbell at guard, you got the power to do that. That's what we're talking about here. So Lomu off to a strong lead here. Well, it was 60%. Now it's down to 53%. Concepcion now catching him. Oh boy. Oh boy.
Starting point is 01:31:45 This is neck and neck, folks. 51 and 49%. Lomu's still in the lead. Got over 300 votes and it is almost dead tied. Wow, it is tied. It is 50% and 50%. Now Concepcion takes the lead here at 52%. He's coming from behind, folks.
Starting point is 01:32:07 It's all those conditioning. He's running away. He's all those conditioning works during the summer. Running hills. Waking up early. No sleep. Pound in the pavement. And I say that, now LoMoo's back in the lead. Low Mooh just passed them.
Starting point is 01:32:20 What a race. This is incredible. This is incredible. Look at the entertainment here. Look at the entertainment. Peter also said, want to do first to 250? Peter said this is F to Chisholm Eresher.
Starting point is 01:32:34 That's also true. Yes. The first of 250. Although we're starting to run out of steam here. No, come on. We're getting close. We're getting close. Come on, folks.
Starting point is 01:32:42 Come on, folks. First of 230. All right. First of 230. first of 230 votes we're 10 away from each of these guys come on people in the discord loo at 221 221 and just lost the vote people just people just keep switching all right we're stopping it at 224 i'm deciding this we're stopping it 224 no they're trolling us now oh they're loom lomo lomo lomo lomo he got there yep loombo got there yeah all right loom who got there killed loomu
Starting point is 01:33:18 Mahmoud is. Help the Pats on. All right. The Seattle Seahawks at 32. This is my pick here. That is your pick. How are we rounding this bad boy out? How are we rounding this bad boy out?
Starting point is 01:33:34 Casey Ciseption is actually kind of fun here. Him, Shahid, J.S.N. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I don't know how much they love Tori Horton, though. They might love him a lot. Tori Horton was pretty good, honestly. I know.
Starting point is 01:33:50 Yeah, I would not take Concepcion here. Um, let's see. Is there an edge rusher that I like still in this? Malachi Lawrence is so... Oh, man. Yeah, let's take Malachi Lawrence. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:12 Get off the ball and create chaos. And just get, get off the ball. Get off the ball. Yes, yes. As a true, because they have the rest of the defensive line to give themselves the freedom to be able to make this pick. Love it. Love it.
Starting point is 01:34:25 All right, want to speed run to the Raiders? Yes. Yeah, let's speed run to the Raiders, and then we'll let the people pick is the last pick there for the Raiders. So for the Jets, you picked, it was, who was it, Arville Reese and Jamad McCoy? It's a leader receiver. Dude, Casey Concepcion's right there. All right. Casey Concepcion is. Easy, easy, easy. Is there an offensive tackle option left here for? Oh, no, no, no. I picked offensive tackle. I went Fano.
Starting point is 01:34:50 Yes, I went Fano for them there. And then, oh, C.J. Allen. I think C.J. Allen's a good pick for them. He's a great pick for them. Yeah, C. C.J. Allen, right there at 13. I like that. And then for the Titans, who would we have the Titans take?
Starting point is 01:35:01 Let's go Judarian Price because they had them take David Bailey. Okay, all right, Judarian Price? Well, hold on. Would they pick a running back that's not Jeremiah Love?
Starting point is 01:35:14 Because I don't know if they would. I think it's just the love's that good. That's why you think about him at 4. I don't know if it's like a... I don't love their backfield. Pollard's fine, but... Who do we take point on?
Starting point is 01:35:28 Stiles, who did we think? Oh, David Bailey. David Bailey. I had the memory of a goldfish. Oh, what is there? Let's do a speed run, Trevor, deep diving the state of the Tennessee Titans. I'm simply one man. I am simply one man.
Starting point is 01:35:52 He's intrigued. Where's the, T.J. Parker. We're draft park. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, when you have. Doubling up. When you can get the, when you trade for Germain John.
Starting point is 01:36:02 and then take the same player. You got to do it. Ah, damn. All right, yeah, yeah, you're right. You're right. Yeah, I might have got, I might have got smoke there. Okay, so for the Raiders at 36, you guys can make this last pick. Oh, this is my pick.
Starting point is 01:36:18 I'll advise them. But yeah, they could vote. I've taken Colton Hood here. Vote as you may. All right, all right, all right. Colden Hood. No, don't put Ty Simpson on there. Do not listen to the people.
Starting point is 01:36:33 They just drafted Mendoza. Tyler, we've got to stand up for ourselves. What are some other options that they could have here? All right, Pavia is on there. You just put Pavia on there. I don't care of your mind. Pavia is on there. You know what?
Starting point is 01:36:50 All right. Heads up. It's just Diego Pavia and Colton Hood. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Hit the post. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:55 This is actually like a human social experiment right here. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Fire away. Fireway. It's just peach shit post thing right now. I've always said that if you don't know if you have a franchise quarterback yet,
Starting point is 01:37:14 you've just got to keep, you know, you got to keep throwing darts of the dartboard. And you're signing Kirk Cousins. Sure, you drafted Fernando Mendoza at one. But who's to say that you don't then have a really good competition with Diego Pavia, drafting him at 36 here for the Raiders? We just had to have Tailing Green at 36. Yeah, I mean, there's just, I mean, when Tailing Green, and staring you in the face here at 36.
Starting point is 01:37:39 You're a fool if you say no. I am actually surprised that this one's as close as it is, and Pavia has 64% of the votes. Yeah, 37% of the chat is taking this exercise seriously and taking Colton Hood. All right. Diego Pavia, it is. He's playing the Taysam Hill role in the offense with Fernando Mendoza.
Starting point is 01:37:59 He's terrible at it, but he's playing it. Hey, he's playing it. Hey, he's playing it. He's playing it. There we go, folks. Appreciate you guys. that was a ton of fun. A lot of fun. Shout out to everybody who is in the NFLSC Discord who helped make that episode possible.
Starting point is 01:38:13 It was a ton of fun. Great pick. Who said that? I already lost it because it's moving so quick. I just saw. J47, great pick. We would love for you guys to hang out if this is your first NFLSC show.

I don't know if we're going to do cornerback rankings or maybe we'll do something else. We're kind of running out of episodes here before we get to the Marathon 7 round mock draft,

Starting point is 01:39:49 That's where things like the cold open from today came from. So stick around for the chef behind the scenes, producing the show. You know what? Can we just get nonstop Ws and clap emojis for the chat? I mean, that was a huge lift for the chef, Tyler Cook, our producer, to put on. and we just really appreciate his efforts and making a really great show. But for Tyler in the producer's chair, making it all happen, for Connor Rogers, I'm Trevor Sikkimane.
Starting point is 01:40:14 Thank you guys so much for watching. We'll see you guys on Wednesday.
