very exciting episode, as this is the first 2027 mock draft, Connor, that we are doing here on this channel. Remember, we did a review of a 2027 mock draft at the beginning of summer scouting. But now that all of summer scouting is done, and now that we got week one of college football in the books. It's time to break out the mock draft machine and get to draft. And I'm very excited to put all of that summer scouting knowledge to use here, my friend. How you feeling?

You're feeling good. Listen, we got week zero and week one in the books. So all the summer scouting takes are gone. Everything from week one is what this draft is. I love the reactions from it. And dude, this is going to be a special show. We've been hyping it up a little bit. We have been, we've been hyping it up more than a little bit.

And the mock draft. Oh, I'm fully caffeinated. You're fully caffeinated. Look at the hair. I'm fully caffeinated. Yeah, I mean, we got the flow going on. Oh, my goodness. Give a little hair flip there at the beginning.

It's never been better. See, we're making this a visual podcast, and you know what? We do very much love our audio-only listeners. However, you guys are going to have to. We have a handful of these shows where we just say, hey, you know what? Go to the YouTube. You got to check this one out. because this is a big day for multiple reasons.

Yes, we are doing our first 2027 mock draft, but this is also the show in which we are debuting a new look for NFL stock exchange. And it's time for the chef to hit the button. You said, haven't Jeremiah Smith? The boat, Deshawn Love is crazy work. Deja. And it feels so good.

I don't know, if we're calling this a new car smell, new house smell, whatever it is. Welcome to the new home of the NFL Stock Exchange show. Shout out to a handful of people for this beautiful logo and complete redesign that we have here of the layout and the feel of the show. First and foremost, got to give our first shout out to Robert Juden from Sinko Creative, who did an unbelievable job bringing this idea of ours to life. We wanted to take the next step here with NFL Stock Exchange and a lot of what you guys see visually here on this. show to make it honestly just more of a full show.

Give you guys more things to look at, to analyze, to take in as we're doing these podcasts, but also huge shout out to the chef, our producer Tyler, as well, for working with Rob and getting this bad boy ready. We had a goal that we wanted to debut, the new layout, the new ticker, the new logo, the everything for the first mock draft episode of the season. And damn it, we're here and it feels good. Dude, it looks fantastic. I am so hyped up about this podcast and this layout here.

Me too, man. For so many different reasons, the fact that we truly, and like you said, we love our audio listeners, it's where this thing all started. But we are trying to develop this into a year-round draft show with the ticker, with as much information as we can pack into the show visually for you guys. We know that these shows, we throw so many names around and people could be like, wait, what happened with my team or I joined the live 40 minutes late and I want to catch up with this. This is just the full way to make sure that we can truly deliver.

And it's like unbelievable for me to sit here and see all that. Honestly, it just, it looks like a TV show at this point. Dude, and the best, and the best part about it is there are so many different variations of the ticker that we have and the layouts that we have where you guys are just getting a small sample size of the way things are right now. It's very pliable. Absolutely it is. But to what Connor said, you know, you guys will see on the ticker, like the, the bottom line in the ticker right now is it's got the NFLSE big board that's continuously scrolling. So, you know, as you guys will watch the show, you know, you get to see, be like, oh, yeah, I forgot like they're really high on this player. Or, you know, we'll have times when we'll be talking about certain teams and we'll have team information down there.

You know, some of their big free agent signings who they drafted, their team needs, all that kinds of stuff. We'll have, you know, a little breaking news, fly-ins. We'll be able to see if we ever have that during the show when we're live. But, man, just again, shout out to Rob. Shout out to Cinco Creative. Shout out to the chef. We're going to have a lot of fun here on this show with all the capabilities that this new layout has. So thank you guys for being so hyped with us.

I'm bouncing back right now. Okay. The question that everybody's been waiting for. God, I've been thought about this at all. You want to pick for the odds of the? right now because the order is based off of the Super Bowl odds I believe okay so you have to pick for the odds the Jets literally have all three of the Jets picks your odds oh wow it's three that's called destiny three or final destination depending on how you look at it it's all in the eye of

beholder depends on the heaven or depends depends what time of year we're in yeah yeah right now everyone's feeling good Let's take the odds. So I think that you're kicking things off here. Number one, which is not the Jets. It is the Arizona Cardinals, which we're using the mock trap simulator over at Stick to the Model. Shout out Jack and the hard work putting this thing on.

I mean, let's, yeah, you did. Let's give some deserved love. I'm just blown away by the work they've done with Stick to the Model. Yeah, no, they do a fantastic job and it's growing all the time. And like, it's early in the process. So like the players that we have in the pool, like, that'll grow, it'll manifest more and all that kinds of stuff, but they do a great job putting a great product together. And you got the Cardinals sitting there at number one. So let's do it. Let's kick it off

here. It's like a well-adjusted human on my drive to work this morning instead of listen to music or radio like a normal person. I was kind of just mulling thoughts about today's mock draft. And I was like, man, what a weird place. Because I was thinking of all the teams they're going to need quarterbacks and there's a lot of them. And they're all in front of us right now in the first four picks. You know, Cardinals are in such a fascinating place. You look at the division they play in. It's absolute hell. They just took a quarterback 65th overall, which is the biggest weird spot to take a quarterback because it's not like you're tied to him where you can't take a quarterback right away after. But if you use the 65th overall pick, you're kind of saying, like, we think this

guy could start for us. Right. And I guess that's why you got to play the games. And I know it, you know, obviously Brissette's locked into this year, but I'm sure we'll see Beck at some point. But if Arizona is picking number one, and I think it's fair because the division they're in their schedule where they are as an organization that the odds are this way, you would think they're taking a quarterback, barring some crazy surprise. So I'm going to take Arch Manning here. But I am just fascinated by the entire, and listen,

I want to, because there's a lot of people probably listening or watching for the first time of this season. I totally understand people jump in when we start mock drafting. That's when they get into the draft. Welcome. Love to have you guys here. this quarterback class and treb i think you'll be you'll be kind of aligned with me on this right now it is very open right now there's a lot of talented quarterbacks no matter where you hear it

and i don't think this is very popular it's not this archmanning is a savior he's the number one guy he's the number one pick today i think there's a really interesting discussion to be had after this season depending how the games go on this quarterback class because there's a lot of talent there's depth of talent but he was my number one quarterback by a small margin over summer and I'm going to stick with that for our first pick today. Yeah, I think that that's, that is totally fair. And I agree with you. We're going to have a lot of fun, I think quarterback conversations because,

you know, Arch looked pretty good for the most part. Right. It wasn't perfect, but he really did look good for the most part. It's going to be an interesting year for Dante Moore. I think it's going to be very interesting for him to see how he plays against the best competition because that was some of his worst games last year. So, yeah, but he's still in that, that top quarterback conversation. I am.

A, sucker for Trinidad Chambliss, man. I know he's not built like an NFL quarterback, but man, he is fun. He plays with so much confidence. He plays with short-term memory in the best way. Dery and Mensa looked awesome from Miami as well. You know, CJ Cars get developed throughout the year. It was a tough first week for Drew Mestemaker, but, you know, he's a toolsy types of a player. Julian Sands, obviously incredibly accurate, depending on kind of what you think of the

stature and overall arm that he has there. But I think for Miami, I think you're really. kind of have to go quarterback at this point. Well, I mean, their wide receiver group is so bad, do you? Is it disingenuous to not go quarterback? Because if not, I mean, this is Miami's wide receivers right now. Miami's wide receivers right now are Malik Washington, Caleb Douglas, Jalen Tolbert, and then Chris Bell coming off of the ACL.

They've got Kevin Coleman as well. They have three rookies who are going to have to have to be, major contributors for them this year. And they weren't highly touted rookies. I mean, I liked Chris Bell the most out of that group, but I knew coming off the ACL and he has some limitations as a player. You're right. This is an open one.

And let's not forget, like there is a world where Malik Willis is just good. I understand the reservations because he hasn't had that full slay of starting yet. He has gotten hurt and he's not the biggest guy to begin with. And his play style is dangerous. but there's also moments with Malik Willis that get you really excited about what he could be across a full season. So, you know, yeah. You're cooking right now or you're, you're simmering on something. I won't say you're in full cook mode. Also, can we can we just point out, can we just point out the ticker again when we started to be at it? Now it has, we have a draft clock and I, I, I pictured it the first pick,

I think. I think I used all my time. They're like, sir, please make the, we've got that we got the draft clock going on right now it says Miami's on the clock I like the draft clock dude it's an absolute thing of beauty this just always when you say draft clock just always emphasize the words don't breeze through it there's a real dangerous chance that's a better pronunciation just the draft clock that's a veteran broadcaster right there folks that's a man who's done a lot of TV minutes and four seconds left on the draft clock Second pick. I already ruined the new features.

I'm taking Jeremiah Smith. I'm going to take Jeremiah Smith here too. Yeah. Somebody in the chat said they've got too many holes on the team overall to force a quarterback selection. I think there's a world where a quarterback could become the very obvious pick here at number two. But with us on the eve of week one of the NFL season, let's see it a little bit from Malik Willis before. we pass over what feels like a near generational type of a wide receiver prospect in Jeremy Smith.

First of three, New York Jets picks. Where are we going? Yeah, really good reminder. If you want more player analysis than the, you know, a couple of minutes you get here,

we did summer scouting for probably every player we talked about, we talked about today. So that's on the channel as well. The Jets are three. Arch is gone. Jeremiah Smith is gone. Obviously, the Jets are going to be looking at a quarterback no matter how well Gino Smith plays this year. I am of the belief that they would have taken Dante Moore number two last year if he declared.

I know there's people that are like, oh, he dodged the jets. He's been asked about this. You know, he felt like going back to school was the best thing for him. Looks like he gained some weight, which is, I was one of the things I wrote down. I want to see Dante Moore get a little bigger. He is not 206 anymore. I'd be shocked. So that was a 15.

That's a good sign. Yeah. So this would be the pick here. And this is now that you get, once again, you kind of repeat the arch thing where there's going to be a lot of quarterbacks in play for this. And then there's going to be the fast thing anything. And this is a little cheeky. But say the Jets end up with the third pick, but then they also end up with the ninth pick.

And the quarterback class is very open to them. them. Yeah. And I'm saying this is cheeky. It's probably not likely. But if you fall in love with Leonard Moore and you're like, we're going to take Leonard Moore. If you took Leonard Moore here, I would not fall you forward. Do you see how he played this weekend? Leonard Moore is an, is an alien cornerback. I mean, he was my number two overall player on my preseason big board. He's rare. Rare. And by the way, this is a team that desperately needs corners, desperately. So I don't mind that Leonard Moore at the top of then perhaps a quarterback. That's an interesting strategy.

It's just like, is it too, is it too cute is what I would say? Might be. Now I'm a little, the cheeky strategy, it's just more fun. Do it. So more at three. Where are their other picks slotted? I would imagine the Colts one is the next one. Oh, wow, that's way better than I thought.

Yeah, because their picks are weird. they have the Colts pick, and then they have whoever finishes worse between the Packers and Cowboys. So that's why it's 17. Let's take Leonard Moore. I think he's easily one of the best players in this draft. I thought he was the best defender in this draft from Summer Scouting

for a team that needs a corner. And I know some people are going to like, you trade it sauce just to take Leonard Moore, blah, blah, blah. I'm fascinating to see how this kind of plays out and what quarterbacks are available when I pick at 13. So Cleveland's now up at four. I'm up here with the Browns. You know, it shouldn't be a debate, but I do think that it can be here.

They don't have a quarterback. And so I think I'm probably going to go with more. But anybody who's listened to us to a mock chat episode knows that when I get on the clock, it can't just be that simple. I have to run through every scenario out loud. Listen, I never change. I think Dante Amor is the favorite. here, although, man, again, I love what I saw from Mensa. I'm a huge Menta

fan. I had him as a top 30 player when we went through the big board episode. I had Trinidad Chambliss, a top 25 player. I think there's a conversation to be had with all three of these guys here at number four. I do not think this is this runaway for Dante Moore as the next quarterback in this class. I really do think that it's close between all of them. It's why I am very fascinated to see how this Jets scenario plays out with you taking Leonard Moore at three and then having the opportunity to maybe take a quarterback at 13 and 17. With the Browns, you know, you got young and a lot of new guys along the O line. I like Casey Concepcion.

I like Denzo Boston. I like Harold Fanon. You know, I like the running back room and the running back talent that they have. Quarterbacks obviously a major issue for them. But I also love Dylan Stewart. I think Dylan Stewart's the most talented player in this class and has the highest ceiling, even though he hasn't gotten close to like what Leonard Moore, and Jeremiah Smith have to achieving that yet,

but I genuinely think that Dylan Stewart could potentially be like the best player in the NFL type of a guy. Now, we didn't see him this past week because he's still getting over injury, so we didn't get to see him in week zero or week one. Obviously, you trade Miles Garrett, you get back Jaredverse,

but to have Jaredverse on one side, to have Dylan Stewart on the other is pretty tempting. I just think that it would be sort of malpractice to not go quarterback. So I'll take Dante Moore here. I'll get him off the board, although I really am thinking about those other two guys as well, and Darien Mensa and Trinidad Chambliss, mainly Trinidad Chamblis. If I was going to pick another one here, it would have been potentially him at number four.

But I wanted to have the Dylan Stewart conversation because I think he's in any team's conversation here in the top five because of how talented he is. All right. The Raiders at five. This is fun because finally there's a combo here that doesn't have to go. through quarterback scenarios. They believe they got their guy in Fernando Mendoza. Whenever he takes over, that will be at some point this season. I just think with the Raiders,

you got to get him a go-to player through the past game at wide receiver. We know Brock Bowers is going to be that, a tight end. Bowers is incredible. They should be able to get the run game going. But, man, with Mendoza's ability to throw the ball down the field, and really give guys a chance. Like you think of how Mendoza played, you know,

not just with the receivers that declared for the draft, but Charlie Becker, the ability to challenge the ball vertically down the field. Cam Coleman is just like no-brainer level stuff here for me. I just think the way Mendoza plays, the way he challenges coverage, how he can challenge all three levels with high velocity, I would go get him this guy and say, okay, now we're going to attack through the air with Brock Bowers and Camp Coleman. That's exciting to me.

I do very much agree with you. I think that I'd be making the Cam Coleman pick here. But brother, I know we'll talk about him soon. How good is Charlie Becker? Really freaking good. Charlie Becker is also insanely talented. Obviously, he's got a little bit of chemistry with Fernando Mendoza from what we saw last year. But, man, we'll talk about him a little bit more.

Yeah, the wider super class is real. Yes, extremely real. How about, by the way, KJ. Duff looking like the Ferrari in front of the rundown house meme? Yeah. It's like, I feel for him. Me too. That's not ideal. At this point, because who do they play?

Who do they lose to? UMass, who didn't win a game last year? I hope he breaks the school record for whatever. Whatever catches, yards, touchdowns, whatever. All our season's over, so let's just make this about KJ. I hope they just, you know, spam the crap out of them to hopefully make up for it a little bit if the season doesn't turn around for him. But yes, Cam Coleman to, you know, the Raiders just Fernando Mendoza.

That's awesome. Tennessee Titans, they're up at number six. I got a lot of question marks with the Titans offensive line. You and I have talked about that a lot. They drafted Cornell Tate, obviously, with their top pick last year. I was wondering why we weren't talking about offensive line more for this team. Like it just never seemed like it was, it never seemed like it was part of the conversation with them.

Perhaps it looks a lot better. But all due respect to Fernando Carmona Jr., who I like the decent amount in last year's class, fifth round pick for them, he's starting week one. Like he played better than almost all of the interior offensive linemen. He's starting at, I believe it's right guard, week one. I think that's a shout out to Fernando Carmona.

I hope that he plays extremely well. I also think that there's another side of the coin and that there's a reason why he was able to get a path to playing time so quickly. So I think about offensive line here, right? I think about, hey, if, because this is, this is the last year of Dan Moore money, isn't it? That was fast. Probably. I think it was two years guaranteed, yeah. Let's see.

So they have an out after this season, because in his cap hit is $22 million over the next two years. Oh, yeah. He has no guarantee. money after this year. Yeah. So you could get out from it. Latham, there's been a, there's been questions, you know, of whether Latham's even going to stick it offensive tackle.

So all that to say, I think about Jordan Seaton a lot here, who's my top rated offensive tackle. I think about Dylan Stewart here as well, though. And I, Robert Sala, that's what his whole foundation's built on, is edge players exactly like him. And I think that's where I have to go here because, okay, sure, you drafted Keldrick Falk last year. Keldrick Falk and Dylan Stewart are not the same player at all.

It's not like you're making one of them redundant at all whatsoever. Dylan Stewart, to me, is just too talented. So I wanted to have the offensive line conversation. But to me, this is a player who has rare explosiveness, rare speed to power conversion, rare bend at his size and length along with that explosiveness. He's a true game wrecker. I hope we get to see him pretty healthy this upcoming season.

I'm a little nervous with him. already banged up to start the year, but too talented of a player for me to let him go any further than this, Dylan Stewart, to the Titans and number six overall. All right, the Falcons at seven. This is a team that it feels like they kind of fell into a starting for them because Pennix isn't fully ready yet. Obviously, in an ideal world, when Pennix is healthy, he plays at the level that they think he can, but you would have to imagine the most likely scenario for the Falcons if they're

picking at seven is they're at least looking at the quarterback class because I mean obviously two is not the answer long term I don't think he's even the answer short term um you know and once again this is this is a group that did not draft pennix who's been hurt right yeah and I think that that's a that does have some meaning here in this situation right of course so the question is and let's take a full look at the quarterbacks on the board is you know, which way do you go if you're Kevin Stavansky? Because these are all totally different guys. You have somebody like Sellers who's just loaded with traits,

but in my opinion is still way too raw to be a top 15 pick. Mensa, I get why everyone's excited, and he really plays the position the way it's supposed to be played. I like how he looks under, like he understands how to diagnose the blitz and pressure. I don't typically love quarterbacks like that anymore in the top 10 that are just not as physically impressive as a typical top 10 pick. You do want to be careful because young quarterbacks get bigger and stronger the longer they play in college. You can't just decide what they are forever after one year.

So hopefully Menta does have a little bit more in the tank from his arm strength. Carr, I mean, what can you take away from that game? I thought he looked jittery in the first half at Lambeau Field. and then the second half, Notre Dame as a team, just ran them over. So there wasn't any way to, like, sway opinions on whatever you thought of them before the season versus after one game. Messamaker's one where it was like he transferred up and he looked overwhelmed. And I didn't think the play around him was good at all.

But he definitely after one week looked overwhelmed. And then there's the saying conversation. It just feels like the Falcons are in the spot here where they have to go quarterback. back, but this board, Trevor, is just completely wide open. It is wide open. I'd be taking Chambles next. I'd be pretty, I know you would. I'd be pretty confident that with that.

Now, do you draft the player of his stature in the top 10 normally? No, but I think typically. Right. But I do think that he is, you don't want to, you'll make a living off of betting on outliers. But he is, he is, and I'll just be saying it for the next eight months. He's an outlier that I'm pretty confident that I would bet on just because I love the way that he plays the game. So I'd consider him here at number seven. I would think about it, given the class is what it is. Um, if I, if you were going the quarterback direction, that's, that's the direction that I

would go. Hey, pass rushers is interesting for them too. You know, what's the future James, what's the future James Pierce Jr? What's the future with Jalen Walker now coming off that major injury? I mean, your boy Colin Simmons is sitting right here. I'm not trying to snide myself because I'd probably, I'm probably going to take him at eight if you don't take him here at seven, but it's just, no, you're right. I mean, it's a matter of what they think. think those guys are going to be next year for health and off the field reasons separately. I'm not going to lie either. Like I know I like him more than you.

Trevor Gooseby's in play here. Oh, yeah, going offensive tackle. They're going to need to think offensive tackle for the long term as well. So. Yeah, that could make sense. I think that's knowing how like uncertain this quarterback group currently is. I think I'm going to pivot to offensive. of tackle. And in that scenario, they either are going to ride it out one more year with

Pennix. They're going to take a quarterback at another point of this draft, which I would recommend, like, everybody, if you don't have your team take a quarterback in the top 10, this is going to be a different kind of draft. You're going to have the Jackson Dart theory of the world, like teams go back into the end of round one for quarterbacks. You're going to have real day two quarterback options. Of course, the pro market could be interesting with your boy, Baker Mayfield, although I think cooler heads prevail, and that just solves itself. Yeah, right. He hit me with a year boy.

He just threw a year boy in there. And he liked that. Shout out. You got 40 seconds on the draft clock. I took Goosby. Okay, all right, all right. Trevor Goosby, the offensive tackle. Ooh, man, quickly as a player, giant, feels like he has a massive wingspan.

I think his feet are really good at that size. You know, I remember you mentioning, like, leverage is always going to be kind of interesting with him because he's so tall. He tries to play with good leverage. Naturally, he is a little high, but he's somebody. that has all the tools of what a high upside starting tackle looks like. The real Danoff in the chat saying is Sam Levitt, at least in this conversation. I don't think so. No.

I don't think so yet. No, I have to see a lot more games with Sam Levitt. And anybody who's been listening to this podcast over the last couple of years knows that I've been a fan of Levitt, given that I think he has NFL tools. I think he's got a legit NFL arm. We see what he could be as a runner. he's still just an agent of chaos in both the best and worst way. And I think that he's a very fun college quarterback right now.

But a lot of what he is right now is the same quarterback that I saw two years ago. And I don't love that. I would have liked for him to play a little bit more in control. And maybe we see a little bit more of that as the college football season goes on. But right now I think he's too erratic. I wouldn't be thinking about him here in the top 10, although I do think that he has NFL tools to him. Fun college player.

Yes, for sure. I mean, he might win Heisman. Truly, in that offense, he might win the Heism trophy. Yeah, with the lane train calling things. I mean, yeah. The New Orleans Saints on the clock here at number eight, I teased it.

I think I'll probably end up going Colin Simmons here, the edge rusher from Texas, kind of just to do it all player. I mean, he could play at the offball linebacker level for you. He's very comfortable in a two-point stance. He could put his hand in the dirt and he can rush for you for you from a three-point stance as well.

But with this defense, kind of the way that it's currently constructed, they're playing a little bit more of that three-four type of front. And I think that that probably is best for them. You get guys like Carl Granderson and Christian Miller, Brian Brzee, when he's healthy,

Vernon Broughton, those guys can kind of play with their hand in the dirt. And then you got Chase Young, who can also be a hand-of-the-dirt guy. but if you got Chase Young on one side who's playing really solid ball or at least was going into this season. And then if you got Colin Simmons on the other side, you feel pretty good about that. But yeah, this is a team that took a flyer on Tyree Wilson because they're trying to get more juice out of the passers room. I mean, they brought back Cam Jordan just because they do not have that right now.

I think edge rusher is a huge need for them. And I think that that also just lines up with sort of the way that the board is right now. Colin Simmons would be my next highest rated player. So it's a need. It's a talent thing. I think it's a good fail. Let's go Colin Simmons, the edge rusher. from Texas. Back to back Texas guys here. And four Texas players in the top eight.

Yeah, I mean. No pressure, Sark. No pressure. Right. It's that level of roster. And speaking of four Texas players in the top eight, how about four teams from the same division picking seven through 10? Somebody did point that out. This is just from Super Bowl odds. So this is the Super Bowl is. It can't mathematically happen. Obviously after this week, I think it's fun to start just going by whatever draft order is, you know, because last year, what did the chief start like 0 and 2 or 0 and 3 or something? And we did a mock draft where the chiefs were like picking two overall. I think that's hilariously fun for like early mock drafts. But you, we'll have that after obviously this upcoming week in the NFL. All right. The Panthers at nine. Obviously going to go into this pick with the

idea that, you know, Bryce is their quarterback with a long term. And he obviously has to raise his play this year for that to be set in stone. But if, if the Panthers are picking in the top 10, it's scary hours. I think there's a lot more uncertainty than that with Bryce Young. But I also don't think that's a useful exercise. I agree. To do a mock draft right now. I totally agree.

And I look at this board, obviously the upside of day. David Stone is really interesting. It's a little early for me for Ellis Robinson. KJ. Bolden is the one that just makes the most sense, even if safety feels early at nine. His versatility on the back end of this defense, and they've invested a lot into their front seven where this front seven should really gel together this year.

I know they've had some injury already, but I think this front seven will really gel together this year, where if you get somebody with speed, playmaking, not afraid to stick his nose in stopping the run, but can be a real free safety. And you see it right there, like the range and the speed that he plays with. It might seem early for some for safety,

but, and like you said, Trev, the combo is not useful right now to talk about the quarterbacks for Carolina. It might be useful in November or December. Right. So I'm going to take what I view

as one of the best defenders on the board here. Can I throw another idea out at you before you pick it? So they have Trayvon Merig. Zaki Wheatley does look really good because I've been covering some Panthers preseason games Zaki Wheatley does look really good they have Lathen Ransom as well

I'm not saying KJ Bolden wouldn't be better than all of them because I think that he would I think he'd be the best safety on the team I think he's just playing a totally different role than those guys and he could be Mike Jackson is a free agent after this year at outside corner

so like if you were considering like who's next a corner I said I wouldn't take him at nine okay okay yeah I know the board here is higher on him. I thought I think I had Ellis Robinson at like 20 on my big board. He's a really aggressive physical player, but I just don't think he's in top 10 pick category for me right now.

Okay. All right. All right. So just taking the talent here with him. So that puts Tampa up on the clock at 10, which, you know, mathematically impossible. They should be picking 18th at the worst. I'm just saying.

I'm winning the division here. Limp into the playoffs. Show up. Man, who would Tampa take if they're in the top 10 here? It wouldn't take Jordan Seaton. You got Gettoe. You got Worf's. I think the interior offensive line's going to be better for them this year.

Is this your Ellis Robinson idea? Yeah, I'm basically trying to convince myself to not take Ellis Robinson. Is that smart of me to do? Because outside corner is the biggest need for them right now. Is McCollum's not in his contract year, is he? That was fast. I think he might be year four.

If not, it's year three. No, because he signed an extension. Oh. Yeah, no, no, no, no. No way. No way. He signed it, yeah, he signed an extension. But his cap hit does go up significantly.

in 2027. This is year five. I thought it was year four. They can't. They can cut him after this year. And it's $19 million in dead cap, which is not ideal. But the cap saving is...

But I just don't think I didn't view him as like, hey, you're going to play 99% of your snaps today on the outside and every week. I know he did in college, but just not that type of build, I would say, for the NFL.

Let's go, let's go Ellis Robinson. There it is. Let's do Ellis Robinson. Really good run defender as a corner, really good man coverage player. He's got the length, got the strength, got kind of everything that you would want. Getting up up the ball skills this year, I think that that was probably, if I'm remembering his gathering report correctly. That's the thing that I'm really looking forward to see it from him this year. So let's go Ellis Robinson.

They might need court really. Obviously, they could go quarterback as well if the Baker-Mayfield situation goes to hell. But just like we talked about with Bryce John. I don't think it's fruitful to have that conversation quite yet. You're up with the Giants at number 11 as if New York couldn't get enough of you in this mock draft. Imagine Jason Lai at the presser after Baker-Mayfield signs wherever he goes. Like, Jason, what happened? It all went to hell.

I would respect the hell out of that. Probably wouldn't be lying. By the way, in passing quickly, I said, I was like, oh, the Baker-Mafield situation when I was picking for Adela. and Chad was like, yes, Stefanski's there. That's not happening. It's like, yeah, good point. Yeah. The Giants at 11, this is actually the quickest pick I'll make.

I mean, it's my top defensive tackle. That's Will Eccles. Nice. The Giants, you look at their team, a lot of things go in the right direction. Their defensive tackle room. I hope they could just squeeze out as much as they can from these guys, but it is weak to me. Their edge group is awesome. They look better in the middle of the field at linebacker.

corner might be a bumpy ride this year we'll see um but will eckles in the middle of all those edge rushers he's got grown man strength he's got an NFL body powerful strong i mean man this is just an easy one for the giants and once again like the giants are in a spot here where say david stone has the year we all know he can have then it's david stone justin scott and amad motin from miami the giants will really really need to hit on a defensive tackle in this draft and the draft is more than equipped to solve that for them. Yeah, I think this is a really good pick here for them. I actually didn't, I haven't gone back to watch how Echols played against Louisville the other night,

so I got to go back and do that. But I know a lot of people are really high on him. I know a lot of people out there have Will Echols as that top defensive tackle. Definitely. Real quick, I see from Bean Soup, Darius Alexander experiment not going well. From following Giants camp locally this year, Darius Alexander has been a colossal disappointment. Damn. I think stylistically, he might not be a great fit for what they need right now.

He's not going to eat double teams. But it sounds like, and their defensive tackle depth chart is not really pretty. It sounds like he's falling down it. So, not great. Yeah, that's not good. Commanders. On the clock here at number 12. Man, we've got a lot of different areas that we can go here with the commanders.

Yeah, you're telling me. I mean. Damn corner. is also very up in the air for them. They have Trey Amos, they have Amik Robertson, they have Mike Sanders still. In theory could work, but that's an in theory thing.

Spent a lot of money with Leo Cheneau. Frankie Louvo a couple years ago, drafted a Sony style, so you feel pretty good about that there. They could use a guy to really get after the quarterback, edge rusher. Who's the next edge rusher, though? For me, it's Klebma.

Okay. Big Force Fumble this week. We're just not in that, we're kind of in no man's land. Some people I feel like really, like there are people that have a, are higher on a third edge in the class, whether it's Pierre,

we'll see what Damon Wilson can do. I like Cleve a lot, but this is just no man's land for the next edge. I wouldn't take one here. And this is the fun part of doing mock drafts early is you could look at what potential team needs would be, but hey, if there's not anybody to sort of fill that need,

you don't want to force anything. Connor, I might be, I'm between, I'm between two options here, okay? One of them is the more easy one, and it's easy to understand, and that's just drafting Charlie Becker, right? This wide receiver group, I mean, they had to go sign stuff on digs

because they just, they have to have somebody this year, next to Terry McGlorn, especially when all the Brandon Iuke stuff, you know, to quote you and maybe the bucks in Baker Mayfield's contract situation went to hell. So that's the easy one that you could just plug in right here. And I'd feel really confident about that even as the number 12 overall pick. I had been number 12 overall on my big board.

Another sneaky one here is Jordan Seton. Because if you want to get mad scientist here with it, Laramie Tunsell, major injury, not getting any younger. Josh Connerly looked good in the second half of last season. We'll see sort of how he looks out of the gate this year. but I think Connerley could also be a nice guard for you. And there's a world where, hey, do you have a starting five offensive linemen of Jordan Seton at tackle, Laramie Tunsell at tackle, Connerly at guard, Cosmi at guard,

and then somebody's playing center with, you know, Nick Aligretti, Chris Paul, Brandon Coleman's, and that makes as well. So I think about Seton here, but I do think it's just Charlie Becker is just too damn good. I'm going to take until we really get a clearer picture of what or maybe even how bad Washington's offensive line really is going to be. I'm going to take, I'm going to take Becker here for them. I don't know how you can really criticize that pick.

I mean, it gives them a big vertical threat. And McClearns 31, man. And he was really banged up. So you start to get to the phase with wide receivers of like, what's the availability going to be like. And that's why they, you know, they had after the Ayuk thing went to hell,

And there's time for that to change and grow. grow. I liked C.J. Carr a lot this summer. I want to see how C.J. Carr plays when they really need

him to take over games this year. He really didn't get much from Sunday night. Like I said, I thought he looked kind of jittery in the first half and then he didn't need to do a ton in the second half. Mestemaker might just need two years at this level to develop. Sellers always gifted still far away. My Ava more of that touch control player, but never going to be this game breaker playmaker. Chambliss, all the problems I just named with everybody, Chambliss essentially has none of them,

which is hilarious, isn't it? Plays big and big moments. I like his arm for his size. I'm just still not there with Chambliss as top 15 pick with the size profile. Come on. I know, I know. So I'm going to stick to...

You're trying to milk it to get him at 17. just so you can go home and tell all your Jets friends that you pick the quarterback in the future that you feel great about not in the top 15. I know. I mean, I'm going to revert back to my summer rankings. I'm going to take CJ Carr here. I know it's a very polarizing opinions on him. Some people don't say they don't see it.

Some people really love him. I like his arm. I like the way he plays from the pocket. I did write down. The thing is Notre Dame protected him at a high level. level last year. And I didn't think he was great under pressure. And then he was, you know, had some moments where he struggled under pressure Sunday night against, you know, at Lambeau Field against Wisconsin. So those are things we're going to have to really watch.

But you don't just jump away from a summer scouting report after one average week one game. So I'll take so. So the Jets end up with Leonard Moore and C.J. Carr, both from Notre Dame with their first two picks. Not bad. The team is pretty talented. So, uh, loading up on Notre Dame guys. I don't think that's a bad thing to do you. The Jets identity is the past protection to their two tackles. So if you're going to take a guy that is a true pocket passer, and that's what Frank Reich wants, this is, you know,

one of the players that fits that profile. All right, we got the Pittsburgh Steelers next on the clock at number 14. Yep Jaden Ball is immediately R-B-1 for this team. Jayden Ball. Phenomenal football player. He's insane. The way that this player moves, the explosiveness, the power behind his pads, but so much more than just that,

it's the balance, elusiveness, flexibility that he has at 6'1, 225 pounds, if not more. I mean, he might be pushing 230 at this point. He's huge. I think there is a very, very real world where Jaden Baugh is getting drafted within the top 20. And I think this is a potential landing spot. I think Minnesota right after this could be a potential landing spot as well.

So let's get them off the board. Let's do it. I like it. Let's do it. Jaden Baugh, University of Florida. Off the board there, number 14, to the Steelers. 15, the Vikings, which we know Jijan McCarthy, probably not the future there now. they are very old at safety harris the smith come back for one more run yeah that kind of deck

that's kind of top of mind you know it's funny with them you can almost have the same exact combo at running back where yeah you know Aaron Jones hell of a career see what he has left in the tank gets hurt a lot but still effective Jordan Mason kind of your classic like number two between the tackles runner and then they drafted demand Claiborne for a little change of pace where Kwan Lacey I think fits with this team really, really well, but I'm not going to go running back from Minnesota.

He would fit the team very well. I mean, he reminds me a lot ironically of Dalvin Cook. He really does. He runs a lot like him. A lot of his strengths and weaknesses are both very similar to Dalvin Cook. So,

yeah, it's tricky because that's like the pick that's fun, right? Mm-hmm. Then there's the pick that, you know, when you look at their safety situation, I know he's hurt now. But Tate Johnson's just a talent stands out to me at safety. The tricky thing with that one is like he's hurt now. So I believe Marcus Freeman said he's out for multiple weeks. And you know how college injuries go.

Oh, damn. I missed that. Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Oh, man. Somebody in the chat's saying, Tate will be back this season, but it's the same broken foot. injury is 2024. Right. Damn.

And he's already been hurt. He's hurt every year, I believe. And he's an awesome player. Awesome player. So that's one

where like, that's my favorite fit for this team, honestly. I think they need a safety. He's such a playmaker. He's a hell of a football player.

So it's really hammer lacy. I guess I guess I'm going to go back to the running back because he's hurt and there's so much unknown. Johnson's my favorite.

fit but kwan lacey is where i'm going to go for the vikings okay you get to uh you get dalvin cook reborn here yeah that's the that's the idea of what they're going for uh jordan jordan seaton is still on the board here right for jacksonville yep i mean i don't think the tackle is their most dire need but jordan seaton's way too talented i think we should have got him off the board a while ago. I mean, I thought about him at 12. I mean, you know my issues with him. That's the, yeah.

Yeah, I mean, you just, you can't see the vision. He's got a run block. No, you may, you, you can't see the vision. His upside alone, he's going to be an early pick. Yeah, I, I just, I just think almost potential alone, you pick him here. I like what Cole Van Lennon showed for this team at offensive tackle. so I think he can be a starter for you.

I like Anton Harrison. But is Jordan Seton, you know, what, did they extend Harrison? I thought so. I thought so, too. No, no. They picked up his fifth year. Fifth year. But that's in 2027.

I just think he's too talented to be on the board right now. Right, he's a top 10 player. I know it says 3.30 there. He's not even close to that anymore. He really got in shape. and, you know, this is a chance for him to develop as a run blocker in that offense. I totally get what you're saying. Like, this isn't nuts at all.

If not Seton, just to have another layer of the conversation with Jacksonville, I'm thinking about the defensive line, right? I am much higher on the Miami duo and Amari Washington than I am with David Stone. I wouldn't be considering David Stone here for them. But I think any of those three, I think Amari Washington, Amad Motin, and Justin Scott, Those three guys, I could absolutely see being really good picks there for Jacksonville. So I could take one of those guys there, but I am just going to take Jordan Seton, and I'm just going to take the overall talent because I don't think he should be last until 16.

I think this is a rare type of offensive tackle if he really gets a little bit stronger and hones in on the run blocking a little bit more. So we'll go Seton there at 16. Seaten at 16 and Jets are on the clock for the third time in the first 17 picks. So this would have been Dallas's pick by the Super Bowl odds, I believe. They have taken Leonard Moore to be their number one corner. And C.J. Carr to be the quarterback of their future. They go Notre Dame picks in a row.

The Jets in this spot with Tay Johnson's injury once again, they need a safety, but, and I love Tay Johnson. I'm not going to go to the hat trick of Notre Dame players. They're interesting at defensive tackle because they took Darrell Jackson from Florida State, but besides that they're pretty old at defensive tackle. Like it's good now,

but they're going to age out. Harrison Phillips is a run stopper, David O'Mada. You know, Defandre's sweat is the young nose tackle that has all the upside for them, but you know, he's got to be available. So the D-line class kind of stares you in the face here between Stone, Moten, and Scott.

Eccles went to the Giants, I thought. I see him on the board there. Yes. Oh, that's William Eccles on the board. We drafted Will Eccles. Oh, oh, oh. So that's just, it's probably a culmination of different boards that have the names a little bit different of why we have two players that are in there. I want to throw something.

right who would they want more amory washington or amad moton senior probably amari washington that's my guess okay you're chasing the big upside play But I have Justin Scott and Ahmad Moten ranked slightly higher. Hell yeah, you do. But they really got to get more stout. And I think that Amari Washington, as a run defender, is pretty nasty. I'm going to go to Amari Washington. Give me Mari Washington here.

Brett Coleman was in the chat a little bit earlier, and he said, hey, give Amari to the Houston Texans just so I can see something. And I'm sorry that we don't get that ability here. but I think Washington is the more ideal player for what the Bears I think would want in this situation if they're going into your defensive line. People are shouting for Justice Scott and Ahmad Motin in the chat. I think that they would be great players,

but there are reps where I watch Amari Washington just ragdoll in offensive line. Like the offensive lineman has zero control of the rep at all times and Washington just able to hold the line of scrimmage very, very well. And I think that that's something that the Chicago Bears really need. So there you go. Amari Washington number 18. All right.

The Bengals, they've added some edge rushers this offseason. Obviously, they get Dexter Lawrence. Jonathan Allen, it's kind of getting towards the end there of, you know, the player he wants was where I kind of look at, I kind of look at defensive tackle to play next to Dexter Lawrence because of the strength here. Obviously, you can argue for any of the top linebackers in this training. but I'd rather take one of the elite defensive tackles. Now, I had it over summer.

Echols is gone than Moten, Stone, and Scott. I think Moten has a higher floor than Stone and Scott, but I think Stone and Scott, younger players, their athleticism, they have more upside. I'm going to take David Stone here for the Bengals. Oh, man. Because this team, the problem is with the defense inside out, It's not been good.

And they're really trying to address that by getting Dexter Lawrence. But if you put another playmaking detackle next to him, then it becomes an identity for this defense, not a weakness. So David Stone next to Dexter Lawrence is just, that's how you fix a problem. I would have taken either of the Miami guys, but I recognize the allurement of Stone, but those Miami guys are a ton of fun.

We'll get them off the board student, I promise. The Dallas Cowboys, up here at number 20 this is a Michael Parsons pick there's one offensive tackle left who I'd feel comfortable drafting in the first round

and with the Cowboys trading for Broderick Jones to me that tells me that maybe it's not going as well as they want it to with Tyler Guyton and Terrence Steel as their two offensive tackles I like Nikki Prongos a lot. He didn't play this past week due to injury,

but I think he is a starting caliber offensive tackle in the NFL. I think he'd be a rock solid offensive tackle for you. Does he have quite the athletic ceiling that Goosby or Jordan Seaton do? Maybe not. But I think Prongos is a great athlete himself. What he played baseball for? God, who was it? Greece or Lithuania?

One of the two. Those are the two countries that I was between. So I couldn't remember. I could not remember which one it was. But yeah, him and his brother played for, what was it? Was it the... I had it up here. Hold on.

Let me find it. Lithuanian national baseball team. European championship qualifier. So I do think that he's a great overall athlete. I think he's a smooth mover. I think he's got good balance to him. He's not as explosive as those other guys are when they're kind of coming off the ball. But I think prongos can be a multi-

contract type of a starter at offensive tackle for you. So yeah, we'll go with Prongos here to the Cowboys. I think they really needed a tackle, especially for all the additions that they've made along the defense over the last calendar year, I should say, even though you're subtracting Michael Parsons, you're bringing a lot of new names in there with that. I think offensive tackle is the way to go here. The Lions at 21, I'm between two players here. Letko said, oh, they call it a three Prongos approach.

Yeah. Very good. Nice. Nice. Very nice. Nice. What do you think between both corners? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Very different corners. Yeah. Big, but different play style. Kelly Jones and Ashton Hampton. I'd take Kelly Jones. Because they need that guy that can play, that could dominate in man. Yes. And that is Kelly Jones.

And that's Kelly Jones. I love Ashton Hampton. Big, good eye awareness. It can hit like a safety when everything's in front of him. Good player. But Kelly Jones, with his spider inspector gadget arms and the way he just smothers routes and man coverage, size speed, this is exactly what Detroit's missing. You know what?

I have Jamari Johnson a little bit higher on my overall board. but when I think of the Eagles, you know, getting a tight end that is super athletic, this power forward type of big slot tight end, six foot six, six foot seven. I mean, Lane, Lane really is going to make some magic with this player this year, I think. Just a true mismatch option for them. I believe Dallas Goddard only signed a one-year deal.

And they drafted Eli Stowers, but the reports are early. that Stowers isn't exactly separating in that room the way that they want him to. Sounded like a bad summer, honestly. It sounded like it was not a great summer for Stowers, who I'm in no way, you know, giving up on. Oh, Rubin in the chat saying, Jaden Riddell, did you watch him? No. The Georgia tight end? Do you know who this is?

Oh, this week I did. I thought you were talking about from summer. He didn't play last year, I thought, right? No, no. Yeah. No, I saw him. I think I saw you tweeting about him. Freak.

How do they just keep, like, you always think you have it on lock who the Georgia tight ends are, and then there's one third on the depth chart that looks better than everyone else. Listen, this very chat tried to come after me about never, never giving up on Georgia tight ends.

When they look like this man does, I never will. And I just want to make that very clear on the show. But I'm not drafting here. I'm number 22 yet. We'll see. but I am drafting trade as green because I think that he would be a howie roseman type of a receiver.

Niners at 23. Oh, the Niners. It's funny. I was, I'm kind of open to going back to back tight end here and taking Jamari Johnson. Ooh, where, you know,

I had both the tight ends right outside the top 30 when it did the ranking. But there's a world where, especially there's no Sadiq in that offense anymore. so it opens up even more opportunity for Jamari to be used in a lot of ways. And the way Moore throws the ball, you know, up the seam in the middle of the field. And you got to realize George Kittles is the man. He's awesome. You know, he's coming off the Achilles.

He's getting older. How important tight end is in Kyle's offense specifically into Purdy. Jamari Johnson's just an awesome fit for the Niners offense. You imagine Sammy Brown next to Fred Warner as he ages? Just the insane speed. Could be sick. Could be sick. I don't think any of the top three linebackers is that they're all fast.

Brown, Chris Cole, and then when Kingston, Villiamu, Asa is healthy. Mm-hmm. I think tight ends a good pick for the mirror 23. So I'm cool with that. Back-to-back tight ends. Yeah, I liked Sadiq for them in last year's draft and he just never came close to making it to them. Right, right. So you go with the other organ tight end.

Good separator, good feet. Jamari Johnson. Your jets made sure of that, that they, weren't getting close. Okay, the New England Patriots, fresh off of the Christian Gonzalez extension. Shout to Christian Gonzalez. One of the best, maybe the best corner in the NFL.

Pat Sertan's got a lot to say about that, understandably. Where would this team go here? Pass rusher. Yeah, I mean, but it goes back to our combo, right? Trevor, of like, who's the third pass rusher? Yeah. So they drafted Gabacus, they have Quintavius. They have Quintavius Hutchins as well.

They got later. It's Elijah Ponder. It's Draymont Jones. Man, it's a heavy edge group there. Anthony Smith from Minnesota sort of gives you much of the same. I think if you're taking one, you're probably taking Yonsea Pierre. If I had. You're looking for like an athlete with juice is what you're looking for.

Right, right. I think Pierre gives them something different. As much as I like Anthony Smith from. Minnesota, he does not. Maybe Bobakar, Traori from Notre Dame gets to that point. I don't think he's like number 24 consideration yet. So I wouldn't really be thinking about him there.

Yeah, let's go Yonder to Pierre. Let's get some extra juice on the edge. I think that that's probably that. Did you see his interception? See him drop back into coverage a little bit? The thing with Pierre, that was so impressive during summer scound. I'm like, they play him in space all the time for an edge rusher. Yeah, I know.

It's like he legitimately takes real linebacker reps. Yeah, I know. So, yeah, it's impressive. You're right. It is impressive. Chargers. Chargers are on the clock. I mean, you see it right there, and it comes top of mind.

You got to be at least looking at the corner class. Defensive tackle is so interesting. Because they have Dalvin Tomlinson on the stopgacket. kind of situation. They want to get more out of Jamari-Caldwell. I just think the talent is too good at detackle here compared to corner. I'm going to take a mod Moten. Yeah, I mean, I'm looking at the same thing right after you for Houston.

I'm already kind of looking ahead a little bit there. And I'm looking at it off at the tackle. That feels like it's the most talent right position that's left on the board. It stands out to me with the Chargers. It's a need. Take Moten. Moten's strong, good motor, really tough. We'll play nose tackle when you ask him to play nose tackle and handle doubles,

but then he could rush a little bit from a three tech. Like, this is, this is really good value. Moen is, he's a damn good player that is alignment versatility for sure. Yeah, I love Ahmad Moten.

I think you should absolutely be considered a first round type of a player. So, I like that pick. Moad and Messador would be elite, says the chat. Would agree. Did you pick, Peeper?

After all that, did we get him off the board or no? After all that, Piper went to the Jets. Because that would have been the perfect pick here for Houston. I mean, I don't. Ooh. Okay. So we still got options here. Yeah, you're going to take Carter Smith and play him at center.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Do I know you or do I know you? So it's either that or, I mean, Greg Johnson, the interior offensive line from Minnesota, also an ass kicker. I'd take either of those guys. it's kind of where you feel like you might be weakest. I take either of those players. Give me Carter Smith, though.

So he's playing left tackle for Indiana. I think he is an interior offensive lineman in the NFL. I think that you just get so much more of his strengths and you see so much less of the weaknesses with the lack of length and the lack of overall foot speed from him. Not that he has slow feet because we've set on this show many times. You can't just take bad offensive tackles who aren't great athletes who have so feet and kick him inside the center and guard and think,

oh yeah, yeah, no, it's all good. Sometimes you have to have even quicker footwork when you are kicking to the inside. But I think it's just that it's that lack of length. It's that lack of just like stride length that he has in his kick slides that you see him get in trouble a little bit there. Whenever Carter Smith loses, which is not very often, I think it's often due to that lack of length for him to play on an island as a blocker at left tackle. But you put him in an interior offensive line and especially at center, man. I think that he could be a rock for an offensive line at center. So give me Carter Smith to play somewhere on the interior offensive line there for Houston.

All right, Denver. You know, once again, the linebackers are all still here. Both tight ends already went. They're old at tackle, but I mean, obviously they like their tackles. Yeah, I mean, it's a good tackle group. It's a good tackle group. It's a bowl of a glinchie. Yeah, they're good.

They're good in both trenches. I think so if you took a tackle, you're just assuming that guy's for the future, not for the help you now. and they are in a Super Bowl window, Denver, like legitimately. Well, I mean, would you, what's your interior offensive line look like? They got minors, obviously. Who's it? Ben Powers.

Stuff, stud. Do you draft like Trevor Lauke or? Or Gregory Johnson. Or Greg John. Yeah, Gregory Johnson. Yeah, that definitely crossed my mind. Mm-hmm. But there's also a part of me that's like, because he's so good, do you just take Justin Scott for the interior?

Yeah, I mean, this. This team is so talented. Yeah, I think you could. I think that's what I'm going to do. Could you go linebacker as well? Maybe. That's what I taught. I said all three linebackers available and you can't really go wrong,

whether it's Sammy Brown, whether it's the Georgia linebacker Chris Cole. Mm-hmm. I know. And they have so much speed. Those two. Oh, man. There's no tight ends on the board. I know that's a comment.

I'm looking at the chat to see what they thought. But this is one where you get you get stuck a little bit. And that's more of a compliment to Denver's roster. I know it's, I said jokingly earlier, but not jokingly. It's a tough week to talk about Clemson. But you can't hold that against Sammy Brown entire. That's ridiculous. No, no, no, no, no.

I'm going to take Sammy Brown. What do we, what do we do? What do we do? We count an LB wins here on the, on the show. No, we should. We're not doing that. We're not doing that. He went nine and three.

What do you play? Linebacker. He went nine and three is the team starting Mike linebacker. Unbelievable. Sammy Brown, insane speed, range. He's really good pre-snap and kind of seeing it. So he steps in at linebacker for Denver. And there's the projected 40 sub 4-5.

It's that fast. So we got the Chiefs here. I don't love the Josh Simmons. I was wondering if you were going to go there. Stuff. I love Josh Simmons, the talent. Don't love the back injury. It's just very up in the,

but the only, the only offensive linemen that I would consider here is Gregory Johnson to play a tackle. And I don't really want him tackle long term. He's started two games at offensive tackle, but I don't want him there like full time. I don't want to draft him to be that. And their interior offensive line is great. Right.

Man, I still think Lauke is loke. Loke? Loke. Loke. It's Lark. I had it right the first time. Okay, all right, right. I still think he's a tackle until he's not.

I don't. I know. And I appreciate you taking a stand. Because that would have been your easy out here is like, I think you can play tackle, put him at the Chiefs. No, I just, I don't think he's, I don't think he's a tackle. I think he's an interior player. Hey. Oh, no, you had Charlie Becker get drafted, didn't you?

Yeah. Yeah, he went 12. He's gone like two hours ago. Now, there is a receiver who is left, who would be very different than anything the Chiefs had. And I think they would absolutely love him because he's strong as hell. He'll block his ass off. And he's a contest to catch monster.

And that is Nick Marsh from Indiana. It is Charlie Becker's teammate. Now, I think if we gave the Chiefs another wide receiver, in the first round or just with a top pick, Chiefs fans might pull their hair out. All of that to say. Yeah, but you're not giving them Ryan Coleman Williams, which is the same button they press every year.

All of that to say, I don't think it's really worked. No. And I think to just lean on their current strategy with wide receivers. And here's another thing to think about here, right? If either the tight ends are available, I think that they consider them here.

is this last year of Travis Kelsey? Because if Travis Kelsey's gone, you go to Noah Gray next year, or Jared Wilde. So your top contested catches probably still have to come from somewhere else. Because beyond low average depth of target stuff, I don't think it's going to be Rishi Rice.

It's not going to be savior worthy. It's not going to be Tycho on Thornton. I'd love to take an offensive tackle here. I just don't think there's one to take. Right. like I'd even we're basically looking at a situation where Greg Johnson Anthony Knapp as well from Notre Dame

and Trevor Lough I think all three of those guys could potentially play tackle for you but I actually think all three of those guys are interior offensive line. Somebody saying linebacker I just don't think they take a linebacker here corner you just took Mansour de Lane you took Noel Williams as well who I think

they're excited about. Tay Johnson, I'd be in consideration here if he wouldn't already hurt again. Right. He drafted Peter Woods. And we took, you took Justice Scott off the board, didn't you? Or no? No, I went with Sammy Brown instead. Oh, so Justice Scott is still here?

That's a nice fit. That's a really nice fit. All right, I'll save Chiefs fans from picking another wide receiver. I'll take Justice Scott, defensive tackle from Miami, who I think long term for defensive tackle, you are still looking to have a much deeper rotation than what you currently have. it's Chris Jones, it's Peter Woods, who's been a little up and down so far. I mean, it's only preseason. We're not even into his rookie year yet.

Kieris Tonga is on this line as well, but I think Justice Scott's got really high potential. So I'll go Justice Scott here. Baltimore at 29. This is easy for me. This is Greg Johnson. He's played every position on the offensive line. I think he's going to be an interior player. I know they brought back John Simpson kind of as a stopgap at left guard again.

But Greg Johnson, the versus. versatility, the size. Baltimore always wants big, powerful people movers, and that's exactly what he is. So super easy pick from Baltimore. The only other, you know, obviously you could think about wide receiver, but there's so much receiver talent. I'd go round two with that. And then you just took Justin Scott, who was my other option in my head I was thinking about. Which puts Seattle on the clock here at 30. This is where I am going to take Nick Marsh. because you've got Cooper Cup who's entering year 10, and Cooper Cup is 33 years old. So after him, it's Tori Horton, it's Rashid Jihad, and obviously Jackson's been the Jigba's on the team. Nick Marsh, especially for how great of a blocker he is, he's exactly what this team has gravitated towards,

especially on the defensive side of the football, with how they play the game. They're looking to match that on the, on the offensive side as well anytime they can. So Nick Marsh, I think, fits like a glove for what this team is going to want to do. When we're projecting out this wide receiver room a year from now,

I think Nick Marsh absolutely fits with what they would want. So we'll go Nick Marsh, the wide receiver from Indiana, who I already kind of talked about a little bit earlier, extremely physical, really strong, maybe the best blocking wide receiver that we have in the class. He's going to be an impact player for them as that wide receiver too with Jackson Smith, Jigua.

All right, the bill's the 31. You ready for me to do it to him? Oh, oh, boy. What do you, what are you doing it to him? It's Cleve-Lubin time. Oh, wow. Yeah, it's-ckel. We're getting clever.

Wait, you're getting clever off the board for, for an odd front team, so he's playing just stand-up outside linebacker? That's damn right. Okay. All right. Yep. All right. Looking at this group.

Look at you sticking to your guns. Good for you. Yeah. I mean, he is kind of one of those guys to me that, that's probably the best fit for him at the NFL, even if Louisville, I feel like has him do everything. But more importantly, like, you look at this group, yeah, they drafted T.J. Parker.

But Bradley Chubb, I just don't know how much he really has left in the tank long term. You know, Michael Hoyt got hurt. No, I mean, they need it. They need pass rush juice. And this is one of the more accomplished pass rushers in this group. in terms of productivity.

So at 31 for the bills, yeah, sign me up. Rounding it out here with the Cleveland Browns. They picked four, right? See, now I wish I would have picked Dylan Stewart at four because I could take Trinidad Chamble's here at 32. Yeah, the quarterback situation fell right into your lap. Yeah, that did. Pocket that one for next time.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll never do a mock draft again. So, you know, this is your chance. Unfortunately, this is the last one here. We're obviously kidding. offensive line probably is where I'm looking at with who's left on the board. We didn't really leave anybody who's sort of in our top 20s. We got to everybody.

The quarterbacks are still available. I mean, there's some secondary players like Ashen Hampton still available. Zach Lutmer, the nickel corner from Iowa. But I think offensive lines, the better value. Yeah, because we've got Trevor Loughke, we still have Anthony Knapp. I think both of those guys are really solid. It's probably between one of those two guys. I'm scrolling down the list a little bit,

seeing if somebody's going to take a big jump up. Caden Green from Missouri as well. Right, the question's going to be, what is he at the next level? Is he tackle? We hadn't brought his name up, but again, he's sort of that tackle guard hybrid type of a conversation. I don't have him ranked as high as I have the other guys. So what are they going to run?

If they're running more downhill, man and gap scheme, like run blocking concept, like more power running concepts, I think I would go with Anthony Knapp. And if they're running more zone, I'd go Trevor Loughke. Or Serafeld.

Serafeld as well. Yeah, we didn't bring up his name either. I think he's really good in the zone. I'd take Loughke over, Saravelle. Let's say, you know, Todd Monkin over the last three years has run more outside zone with the Ravens in each of the last three seasons that he was the offense coordinator there. So let's say that he wants to lean into more of a zone rushing game. You draft Spencer Fano as well really high last year.

And I think that that's what he is excellent at. Sure. Let's get Trevor Lough, the offensive lineman from Iowa, who he's starting to tackle for them. I think he's more of a guard, but you can potentially play tackle for you. I know Connor, you like him a lot to potentially stick a tackle at the NFL level. Yeah, he's got a shot. Yeah, let's take him here. I think that he, I think of this skill set makes sense for what I believe the Cleveland Browns are going to run.

This year, we are Thursday. So it's going to be a Monday and Thursday, two day a week show here for you guys. and both times it is going to be at 3 p.m. Eastern. So we will try to be as consistent as we possibly can with that schedule to make sure that you guys know when all that good stuff is coming out. Again, appreciate everybody giving us the hype on the new look and everything. It feels great. Like we said, we're just scratching the surface of everything that's sort of this new layout and ticker and everything is capable of.

So we're really hoping to elevate the show and just put on a really great production for you guys because we really appreciate to gather in every single live show that we have. and whether it's live or after the fact, we just really appreciate you guys gather and embracing this community.
