I'm never writing again.
Dude, no.
Look at Connors.
Connor holds the marker with like four, all four fingers.
That's like how my kids hold the big crayon.
Oh, God, chef's too good.
I look like I just arrived from another planet and they said,
write down your name and species.
And I have never seen a marker, pen, or pencil before.
Yeah, I know.
I can't believe I put on a suit for this.
Welcome to the opening bell.
Welcome to the opening bell, the NFL Stock Exchange show.
Trevor Sikkimakana, Connor, is here with you guys for one of the most highly anticipated episodes in show history, Connor.
I'm not even going to sugarcoat it.
Today, not only do we have a brand new 2027 mock draft a couple weeks into the NFL and college football season,
but this is also the debut of our own mock draft simulator that we have been cooking up for.
Last couple of weeks, good month and a half, couple of months, whatever.
it's been, I mean, the ideas of it have been in the works for over a year, finally being able
to implement it and really get to it and work on it.
I'm very excited to show the people because we're going to debut it here on this show,
but eventually it's going to be available for all of you guys to use.
So, Connor, how we feel, my friend.
Dude, I'm so excited.
I mean, this thing is just, you know, we wouldn't roll it out half baked or anything like that.
So I know the addicts are going to love it.
You and the chef have been keeping me updated, even on Saturdays when I,
I've been at work, like sending me the link and looking at what the little tweaks have been
and how much information is packed into this thing.
It's been a long time coming, especially since we do so many of these to have one that
just fits the branding of the new branding of the show.
So today is going to be a really, really special day for the channel.
Yeah, it absolutely is.
And obviously, we've been free agents in the mock draft simulator world ever since the great
PFF split happened with this show a couple months ago.
and we've been used to stick to the models
and Jackson, an unbelievable job,
building that great product out.
But we wanted to have something that was our own
that we could work on as well
with our branding, our vision,
some of the little things that we wanted to do
to make it feel like it really was an NFLSC
and addict-based product that you guys have really helped inspire it as well.
One thing we love to do is make this show more visual-based over the years.
But when we're using simulators that aren't ours,
The rankings are different.
The predictive aspect is different.
And then when we show you guys a player,
there could be numbers on there that mean nothing to us
or based on our thoughts on the players.
So the whole point is to always give you the closest thing to our views possible on the player.
And also, like, who knows what we could do with this thing?
The addicts have a voice here, right?
Like, that's the cool thing about this.
There's so many features that it's not just you and I,
as with everything on this show, it's our community.
I know.
I'm so excited about this, and this is only version one.
We're going to continue to build on top of this.
So I know that Tyler, the chef, also put together a video to intro this bad boy.
So Tyler, go ahead, hit the button.
Let's see it.
Let's go.
This is the new NFLSC mock draft, The Simulator,
debuting here today on the show with a full new first round mock draft here from Connor and myself.
Connor, it's a special day.
not only are we debuting the mock draft simulator,
but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
picking number one overall right now.
We're three weeks in the NFL season.
They're 0 and three.
Who's got it better than us?
Who's got it better than us, baby?
The Jets have three first round picks
in the top 10 right now.
We're so living.
It's never been.
We're spoiled.
It's never been a better time.
It's a mock draft.
It's a mock draft here on this show.
On our own simulator.
What a sight.
Yes.
So look, we're going to be walking through a lot of the functions of this thing.
But there are so many things and buttons and profiles and you can see this and that and all that we're not even going to be able to get to here on the show,
which is why we're really excited to give our Discord members access to this mock draft simulator after we are finished with this show.
So over the next week or so, they can help beta test it and, you know, identify some of the bugs and little things like that.
And then we're totally opening it up to the public.
next week. So if you're not a Discord member, you want to wait a week, you can. But if you want to
test this bad boy out, if you want to be part of the beta test, you can join the NFLSC Discord. The link is
in the description of the show. All the more reason. Yeah, and you can get early access here to this
mock draft simulator. So this is how things start. We're using the current draft order here,
Connor. So this is after week three in the NFL. Why? Because it's fun. It's chaotic. There's all sorts
a chaos. And this is how it sets up. So the Buccaneers are picking at number one. The Texans are
number two, the Titans number three, the Chargers number four, dolphins number five. And obviously
we will go through this full first round mock. Let's get into it. Let's get into the draft
room here so we can get to the next page. Obviously, you guys can sort of customize how you want
to get in there. You can choose for your drafted for one team, a couple of teams, the whole first
round, all that good stuff. You could do all the way up to seven rounds. We've got enough players
in the mock draft simulator for you to be able to do that. We've got over 400.
50 players that are in here. Now, I've only ranked about 125 of them. So the rest of them are just
sort of labeled not ranked, but they are draft eligible players that are on various mock draft
databases that we have seen throughout the internet. So we kind of pooled a lot of those names for you
guys to be able to draft them if you wanted to. Conner, as people are kind of sort of digesting
what the visual of the mock draft simulator looks like here. I think we have to have the
Dylan Stewart conversation right off the top.
Yeah, not the best.
So Dylan Stewart, I mean, this past weekend, South Carolina is playing Alabama.
And he punches an Alabama player during the game after a play while the Alabama player
had his helmet on.
Never a good choice.
There was also moments in the game where the coaches were trying to sub him off the field
and he was not coming off the field, not listening to the coaches at all.
he ends up getting benched in the game
and then a few days later
Shane Beamer their head coach
suspends him indefinitely
basically because of the insubordination
of not listening to the coaches and everything.
Yeah, he just kind of went rogue.
Absolutely did.
You go back to summer scouting
and I was telling people that
this is one of the most talented football players
I've ever scouted.
Like I thought going into this year
if you told me that, hey,
he's going to play a fully healthy year,
he's going to be ready to go.
I talked about giving him
one of the highest summer scouting grades
I have ever given any prospect.
That is how talented I think Dylan Stewart is.
Now, I missed the first couple of weeks
because he was recovering from an injury,
and he only played 14 snaps the week before.
But Connor, in those 14 snaps,
he looked pretty dang good.
The problem is here,
what are we doing with Dylan Stewart at this point?
Because he had his true freshman season
where he was more of a rotational player.
Last year, he was dealing with a back injury,
and didn't really play it 100%.
And this year, he plays 14,000.
snaps before now getting suspended indefinitely. And I'd kind of be surprised if he ever plays for
South Carolina again. They'd think that ship sailed. So what do we make of this player being in this class?
Do you think that he's in this class at all? Do you think it's more likely that he is not in this
class with his current resume and where he currently stands? Is this a 2028 guy? What do you think
about his situation right now? Well, he has two pathways, probably, because he's so talented that one,
he can try to get an early read on,
okay, if I never play another down-of-college football,
and I already have a good outline of how I'm going to test
because these guys are working on that so early,
especially the premium guys.
And I go through the process of the combine
and answer the questions and the interviews
that I need to interview.
Am I comfortable with the fact that, you know,
he'll probably still be a top 30 pick, right?
That's how ridiculous the traits are.
I would agree.
or does he play the other side of it
and this is where NIL is massive
that you look at it and go
I'm going to go get a ton of money
at a big time program because he still will
he just has too much talent
and plays a premium position
and I'm going to play my way
back into being a top 10 pick
that's the two pathways
he has to explore right now
I don't know what the better one is
I guess I'm a little biased here
because I didn't like him as much as you over summer,
but I still liked him a lot.
Let's not be like, get away from that.
I saw the talent.
The only difference was I liked Colin Simmons better,
but I recognized that they were both really, really talented.
And I still had Dylan Stewart fourth on my big board,
just behind Colin Simmons.
Dylan Stewart or Colin Simmons,
certainly more productive and dependable
throughout his career to this point than Dylan Stewart was.
Stewart has more upside.
And that's even, you know,
not even counting what just happened over the last week.
So, so with that being.
said, I still think he'd go in the first round.
So if we do this draft today with him in it,
I don't think he has to play another down of college football.
It's just that it's that it changed Trevor where he's no longer a lot to go in the top
10, in my opinion.
That's too risky.
No, I think that he is still, if he were to declare today, he's too talented.
I think that he goes in the first round.
I really do.
It's back into the first round, but I still think that it's into the first round.
But I also-
That have, right?
That have had weird situations through our college,
but we're so talented teams are just still going to take that chance.
Exactly.
So again, that's why I think he's still a first round pick if he declares today.
But ultimately, I don't think he does.
I think he's going to go somewhere else because,
I mean, he's got 11 total sacks in his career.
I mean, there were already production concerns with him.
There were already durability concerns with him.
If Dylan Stewart had racked up double-digit sacks as a true freshman and a true sophomore,
I think we're probably having a different conversation here.
But now it's not just the character issues that we have to sort of discuss with him getting
suspended and what we saw in the field with him.
But it's also there were already, hey, does he have some stamina concerns, you know,
in and out of the game?
He was dealing with that back injury that was lingering and he's sort of been beat up
throughout his college career.
There were already those other concerns now on top of other things that you have to talk about.
I think he's a first round pick because of his talent.
But I think it's more likely we're talking about him for the 2028 class than the 27 class.
It wouldn't shock me at all.
I just think NIL changes everything where the old fork in the road was I can go back to school and try to play.
for more long-term money.
But I'm taking a massive risk now.
And that's not the fork in the road anymore.
Now it's, I can go back to school, get paid pretty good money, and make more long-term
money.
And that's why you see so many guys in this era opting to do that when 10, 15 years ago,
they never would.
Which is, again, I think goes into why.
Dante Moore just did it in even a crazier capacity.
Like he would have been the number two overall picking the jury.
graph most likely, but he was like, I'm going to keep developing.
I'm going to go back for money, and I want to keep playing another year of college football.
So that's kind of where we're at with Stewart.
I kind of think he's more of the 2028 guy at this point.
I think he's going back.
I think NIL is kind of too powerful at this point.
And there's too many teams.
We've just seen that there's too many teams that want to buy the talented players.
Like it kind of just doesn't matter.
You're going to find somebody who's going to give you a bag for NIL, you know, promise that,
hey, we'll put you in a position to, okay, you'll get double-digit,
sacks then you'll play your way back into the top 10 i think he's a 2028 guy but hey we have him on the
mock draft simulator and uh we'll probably get him off the board somewhere today but let's kick it off
here so the buccaneers i bring the draft again folks the wriggler is back hey it's our simulator
it's our simulator we have taken full control but this is in fact real life so the buccaneers
are picking number one overall because they have an o and three record and they have the lowest
strength of schedule while being 0 and 3 in the NFL.
Baker Mayfield has looked very up and down with that roller coaster.
And even though I think that cornerback is a stronger need for them, Connor,
I'm taking Jeremiah Smith at one.
How can you not?
The way that, look, you know, again, we went through this in summer scouting and I talked
about how if Dylan Stewart has a fully healthy year, I could absolutely still see him
being the top pick over Jeremiah Smith.
But now that Dylan Stewart's not even in the conversation,
Leonard Moore is phenomenal.
I want to be very clear about that.
Jeremiah Smith is something different completely, I think.
And so even though wide receiver is not the biggest, most dire need for the Buccaneers,
the talent that this guy has, you just cannot pass it up.
So Jeremiah Smith going number one overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
I didn't even ask you if you were odds or evens.
Sorry, I just hopped in the driver's seat.
Good for you.
You didn't even want to waste our time today.
You were like, the Bucks are picking number one.
How many chances do I get to do this in my lifetime?
I get to take Jeremiah Smith.
I'm just going for it and you should.
I was right there.
So now you're on the clock with the Houston Texans here at number two,
which is very interesting because they are 0 and 3.
CJ Stroud's not their biggest problem.
But he's not the answer.
But he's also not under contract for this team because they haven't signed them long term yet.
Right.
I think next year is his fifth year option year.
So he is, but I mean, what world is he?
Look at this thing.
Look at this thing.
Yeah, the chef's showing off the simulator here.
If you click on a team, you can see their depth charts,
which are courtesy of our friends over at the 2 Deep,
who do a great job, getting phenomenal, updated depth charts around the NFL.
Shout out.
You can see offense, defense, special teams.
You can see their expiring contracts as well.
There's a tab to see the expiring contracts that are right there.
The UFA is coming up.
can also see their draft history, depending on how you want to be like, ah, you know, does my team,
you know, necessarily you go for these positions early. You could see draft history going back five years.
And then you can also see the staff in the front office. You can sort of analyze the guys that are there,
the head coach is the offense coordinators, the defense coordinators. And we will get to a point where we'll have some schemes in there for you to,
you guys to identify and be like, oh, okay, you know, is this team going to go after this sort of certain player?
are they more of this kind of an offense?
Do they like more odd front or even front stuff?
Do they play more man coverage on the back?
Do they play more zone?
Things like that.
And the reason why we wanted to be so detailed there is because,
Tyler, you can click the advanced position button.
So you have classic positions where you could just see, you know,
a corner, tight end, offensive tackle, linebacker.
But if you want more scheme-specific advanced positions,
all of these players are also categorized in, you know, for wide receivers.
It's not just wide receiver.
You can see which one's an X receiver, a Z receiver, a slot receiver.
You can see blocking tight ends or receiving tight ends.
For offensive linemen, they're broken up into man and gap scheme offensive tackles
or zone offensive tackles for all the offensive line positions.
So if you want a more detailed and maybe more scheme-specific look at some of these players,
you can see that if you are switching over from the classic to the advanced positions,
which you could do at the push of a button to and from.
You can turn it on and off as you're going through the mock draft simulator here.
So yeah, go ahead with the Texans.
Thoughts.
How do I follow that up?
Like, by nail on the pick here.
I feel like I'm standing in overalls with an acoustic guitar and Led Zeppelin just finish
their set.
And they're like, hey, Connor, go play Wonderwall.
You got it, bro.
You got it.
Yeah, you play, you grew up, you grew up on guitar here.
You got it.
The crowd's not going to throw tomatoes at you.
Oh, man.
All right.
Well, all that to say.
And shout out to everybody in the chat.
Seeing you guys, you know, love this is the most important thing to us.
It's so cool.
And it's so cool to me.
I mean, you and the chef have really been doing the deep, deep legwork on this.
And it's so impressive.
So the Texans at two are.
fascinating. I mean, I think when all else is, when it's all done, C.J. Stroud is going to find
common ground and get an extension done there. I know he has not. I don't think he's played great.
They are a totally different team when Nico Collins is hurt. I know they're still building this
offensive line. For me right now, there is not a tackle. I'm taking second overall. I know, you know,
obviously, Seton and Gooseby are probably the two names people think of. I think there's another
interesting factor here.
Danielle Hunter's had an amazing NFL career.
He's still a productive player at 32 years old.
Next year is the last,
they did that tack on extension.
So in 2007 and age 33,
he will be in a contract year.
D'emico Ryan's,
the engine of his defense is
the guys that create hell up front,
pass rushers.
We know what Will Anderson is,
but they got to have the rob,
to his Batman when DeNeal Hunter is done playing or when DeNeal Hunter is done with his team.
I'm going to take Colin Simmons. Colin Simmons is an absolute menace. And this is a little bit
of a product of the draft not really going perfect for the Texans at two. Like in the,
the realistic nature is if they got a deal done with Stroud, the Texans would trade out of
this pick and get a haul. And then they would take either a top flight wide receiver or top
flight offensive lineman. Like that's that's a little bit more realistic here for the Texans.
but we're not going to do tradebacks this early in the year.
And I'm not going to reach so drastically on players yet that Simmons,
he is so athletic that even when he doesn't win initially,
you see how his chase speed impacts the front seven where he was dynamic on Saturday
and a total difference maker and has the athleticism and production that really plays in the NFL,
not only getting upfield, but some of the stuff he could do in space because of the type of athlete he is.
Sports debate arena in the chat said the MDS is sick.
Did you drop the URL for us to use?
Again, a week from now, it will be public for everybody to use.
But if you want to use it over the next week, join the NFLSee Discord.
And we'll put the link in there because we want you guys in the addicts debate to test it a little bit for us.
Maybe find some bugs, fix that before we totally release to the public.
By the way, you mentioned some trades, some trade opportunities here.
We also have a trade button that if you'll see on the screen, you've got what, two trades waiting for you?
And we're using the trade value chart to sort of give you these realistic trades where you can see,
okay, this trade pick here, it's 113 percent value.
So you're getting good value for it.
You'd be trading back here.
You can click that if you want to.
You can modify a little bit more.
You can just go right into the counteroffer and it'll pull up the trade box.
So you can start with that trade as the framework.
And then you can add picks and you can sort of like Madden used to have where the trade bar,
or maybe they still do have this,
where the trade bar just kind of goes up and down a little bit
and percentage for how likely it is
that it's going to get accepted.
And you can fire off any percentage of trade.
Like if you only have a 15% chance of the trade being accepted,
you can still propose the trade,
but it might be random.
Like sometimes a team will be willing to go back and forth with you
and say, no, okay, but we can keep trading.
But sometimes if you give them a low ball offer
and you hit proposed trade,
it might say they've declined your offer.
They're no longer willing to talk.
talk about this. So like then that trade might be off the table. You can also trade players,
which players have a specific value in it as well. So you could trade anybody on the roster.
And when you do trade players on the roster, by the way, they show up in your depth chart.
So you can see it when you click depth chart for that team. And it'll auto update right there for
you guys. So you can see all of the new players that you're acquiring in the draft and then
also via trade as you kind of go throughout this thing. So again, just wanted to kind of shout that out
and flex that a little bit. As we get to the Tennessee Titans who are picking here at number three,
I think this has to be an offensive lineman, right?
We here on this show have talked about how offensive line has been an issue for this team for a while.
And it's sort of they've, I have felt like put their head in the sand about it.
And I think that it's a major issue.
I've got Jordan Seton is the highest offensive tackle on my board.
I think that he's got rare movement skills, rare pass blockability.
We talked about this over summer scouting.
Could he get stronger and more reliable in the run game?
Yes, he could.
But certainly as a past protector, man, I think that he's got all the making.
of somebody who can really shut down some of the best edge rushers in the NFL.
I think that that's how talented this player is.
So I'm going to go with Jordan Seton here for the Tennessee Titans,
who tough start to the year for them.
If Colin Simmons was still on the board,
you think about that as well as a one-on-one winner for Rob Salas defense,
but we're going offensive tackle here for Jordan Seaton.
And the good news for the Titans is,
and it's a small sample size,
but J.C. Latham is playing a lot better this year,
where if you go get Seton across from him,
you feel like you have the bookends at tackle
that are hopefully the answer for your future.
But I agree with you, Trevor.
That is still a need for them
because it's, you know,
I don't think the Danmore signing
really turned into what they had hoped for
and the unit as a whole.
The Chargers at 4,
and it is wild to go through this draft order, right?
It's, that's the fact that the 0 and 3 Texans
and the O'N3 Chargers
are picking in the top five.
Now, this one to me,
you're just sprinting the Leonardmore Cardin.
it's not only a need for them.
He's the best player on the board.
Yeah.
This defense played better against Buffalo,
but as a whole and talent-wise,
it does leave a lot to be desired sometimes
that I think Jesse Minter was able to cover up at times last year.
And they need difference makers,
like real game-changing guys that offensive coordinators
think about when they turn on the tape.
And Leonard Moore fits that description in every way.
Right. He's got the size. He's got the speed. He can play man coverage. He's got instincts and zone coverage. This is an easy pick for the Chargers.
Leonard Moore is absolutely worthy of a top five overall pick. And it is a mess for the Chargers right now in a lot of ways.
The Miami Dolphins on the clock here at number five. And dolphins are so interesting because they had such a massive draft class last year.
right like is the team great no but they've got they've got these young guys at so many different
positions like jacob rodriguez is racking up tackles for them at linebacker they have michael
tap as a safety they've got chris johnson as a corner for them calip douglas kevin coleman
junior chris bell wide receiver caden proctor is now in the lineup at uh in the offensive
line will will kak merrick at tight end getting in there for them they signed just and jolly as
well when he got to cut from the Denver Broncos.
Oh my God.
It's just such a young roster.
And it's a shame that Devon A-chan has the torn ACL.
And it's probably not going to be great for this team moving forward.
But I think this is probably got to be a quarterback pick.
Kind of comes down to Archmanney or Drew Mestemaker.
I don't know if we're talking about Trinidad, Chambliss this early.
I don't think so when we're also talking about the league.
as much as you and I like Trinidad a lot.
I don't think so either.
I'm going to go Mestemaker.
There it is.
Yeah, let's get like,
let's switch it up a little bit here.
Arch has been frustrating, man.
You think?
My God.
Really frustrating.
Arch has the good moments.
And then Arch also has the head scratching moments.
And there are times when he sees it early
and he'll rip a really nice ball down the field.
And then there are other times where, man,
he is a step or too slow or too slow to see something.
And I still think that Arch can absolutely be a starting quarterback in the NFL,
but we're losing the luster on him being this number one overall pick type of a quarterback.
And we'll see sort of the conversations around him when he puts a full year together.
And I think Texas is going to be in the college football playoff.
So we've got a lot more football to be played.
But we talked about this last week.
It's much more of an arch is in a tier with other quarterbacks now
instead of arch is at the very top and everybody else is behind him.
That's the thing that's, man, it's getting interesting fast, isn't it?
Because I've noticed a general feel from a lot of people that aren't real deep in the draft world
or maybe even the college football world.
But when they watch arch play, it feels like a lot of people go,
when is he going to look like the number one pick in the draft?
And that's, right, hey man, obviously that's a really, really tough, you know, barometer and everything.
But also, if he's constantly viewed as the projected number one pick in the draft, it is fair.
It is extremely fair.
So I'm not surprised in this draft today to see him fall all the way outside the top five because it's just lack of consistency.
You know, you said the timing.
I went back to the UTSA game even before this weekend.
that game was more quiet because not only did Texas win comfortably enough,
nobody really cared about that game after the Ohio State win.
And he just didn't look right.
He's just missing throws that you don't expect that caliber of prospect to miss.
Now, it puts me an interesting spot for the Jets at 6,
who are going to pick three times in the top 15 today because they need a quarterback.
And what makes this difficult is even before he got hurt,
Dante Moore wasn't having a great year.
obviously that it's going to be an interesting discourse around Trinidad because of his size and age as much as we like him.
C.J. Carr hasn't played anyone yet. C.J. Carr is starting to heat up though. Like that it, you can, you know, you play who you play and he looks good.
Now, I'm not saying C.J. Carr is locked into the top 10. That's going to be decided later on. So I'm going to take Arch here for the Jets with the thought, right? It's a little bit more normal.
Even for what we just said about Arch, like we're only, I'll say like overly negative because we're comparing him to what was the unquestioned number one pick type of a quarterback.
And even though he's not quite that anymore in our eyes, this is still somebody who has starting caliber ability at the NFL level and can be a really good NFL quarterback.
So I agree with you taking him here at six.
Yeah. And honestly, it's crazy we've arrived here, but you do have to.
tip your cap to Aaron Glenn and Darren Mojee for this from a roster perspective.
The Jets are well built to draft a quarterback and let him sit finally,
where Gino, who they're not paying anything this year,
and it's been rock solid through three games,
there's an easy world where you just bring Gino back next year
on a relatively cheap bridge contract,
and he's the starter going into next year,
and Arch is going to sit.
And the Jets are pretty deep at pass catcher.
Kenyon Sadiq was phenomenal this weekend.
Like, whoa, that's what a different level of tight end is supposed to look like.
They're going to get Omar Cooper and Adonai Mitchell back from injury.
Garrett Wilson is Kerr Wilson.
What else needs to be said?
I think the O-line play has been a little underwhelming compared to expectations,
but it's still trending in the right direction in totality,
especially with the assets they have.
they're like this is arch is still in the developmental phase and this is not a bad place for him to go it's
crazy to say it about the jets drafting a quarterback but they are finally not drafting a savior
I'm with you I'd make this pick here for the Jets which is you're going to be on the Jets the clock for
the Jets a couple of times here I got the Dallas Cowboys at number seven next you know I think
the obvious one from people right off the bat for the Cowboys would be hey Trevor Guseby is
there the offensive tackle for Texas really really
good offensive tackle prospect, built the way that you want an NFL offensive tackle to be built.
He's having a good year this year, at least from what I've seen.
And this was a team that extended Terrence Steele during the offseason, but then traded for Broderick Jones because it felt like things really weren't going as well as they wanted it to along the offensive line.
And that's not really a good sign to me.
So you could certainly take Gooseby here.
But man, they're, I mean, Steele's contract.
If you moved on from him, even this upcoming off season,
you're losing money in cap savings.
Like, you're not really saving anything.
You're eating $7 million.
Now, maybe that's worth it anyways,
if they don't feel like he's worth it.
And you're just like, yeah, it's $7 million in cap space.
It's fine for an offensive tackle.
But just not so sure.
but is there somebody that they would pick over him?
Because the other guys that we have on the board,
you wouldn't draft KJ Bolden.
For his greatest KJ. Bolden is as a player,
you just drafted Caleb Downs.
Right, that would be kind of ridiculous.
And you've got to find a way to pay George Pickens.
You got to find a way to pay George Pickens.
That's not negotiable.
Or is indeed, you just draft Cam Coleman.
Nah, I don't want to go down that road.
Make the team better.
Make the team better.
I don't want to, all right, all right.
Trevor Gooseby.
Let's get Goosby off the board.
Let's just take Goosby here.
I think the steel contract, like I said, makes it a little bit tricky,
a little bit less direct that they would maybe do something like this.
However, he's a really good player,
and I do think that he makes their offensive line better.
And Tyler is flexing that's in the MBS MTCHAF simulator.
If you go back to the depth chart after you have picked a player for a certain team,
you will then see that player in the depth chart.
So it live updates after you select players or trade for players as well.
You're back with the Jets.
Can you imagine waking up and being Safeway or Big Tucks today?
Just when you thought you had taken us down during the week two rookie report
and we counterpunched with this interface?
Yes, it's actually live.
It is, it is live for those in the Discord.
Yes, but you got to join the NFLC Discord if you want to have it over the next week.
Jets are back on the clock again.
Oh, what a great feeling.
Look at you.
What a time.
Look at me.
Look at you.
You ever see me smile like this?
Nice.
In his kingdom.
Three top ten picks?
I mean, I welcomed the child into our home.
I got married two years ago.
And this smile is just as big right now.
He's got archmanning in hand, folks.
And two more picks coming up in the top ten.
I can't lose.
I cannot.
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
Well, sure is sweet, isn't it?
never gets old. It never gets old. All right. For me, I'm going to take Will Eccles here.
Ooh. The Jets have a sneaky problem right now that I think a lot of people are not aware of.
And it's not, remember when we did the Depcons? One is the worst, right? One is the worst.
Defcom one's the worst. I remember we had to go through that. Yeah. So I'm only 80.
85% sure.
Yeah, you were so confident when he answered.
Let's keep pushing through.
I'm only 85% sure.
But I said that with my whole chest there.
Which I respect about you.
The Jets have capable defensive tackle play.
They do.
They got floor raisers.
They traded for Harrison Phillips, who's a run clogger.
They traded for, Tamadre Sweets, the one guy that can be a difference maker.
He's just so unique at his size.
But he plays limited snaps because he's,
I don't even know how much he weighs these days.
Remember, he didn't even weigh into the senior ball.
So he's that guy.
Briggs is a nice rotational player.
On Yamada, it was a one-year signing as a, you know,
rotational guy.
He's hurt.
They don't have that real difference-making defensive tackle that Will Eccles can be,
where you look at it and go, who's going to get some push?
And Echols, my question coming into the season with Echols was,
I was like, I know he can two-gap against the run.
He's strong as hell.
He's built like a defensive lineman in the NFL.
But I want to see him create more havoc.
And you turn on the LSU tape and you saw him create more havoc.
And for a young player, that's really going in the right direction.
And this guy can be that difference-making defensive tackle that they are lacking.
Their defensive tackles are solid, but they are very run defense focused first.
And Eccles has a chance to be the complete package in the middle.
Yeah, Eccles has had a really nice start to the season.
A lot of what you would have wanted Will Eccles to be.
I think that we've seen that in a pretty consistent basis so far this season from him.
So I also see what you're doing here.
What am I up to?
You could have thought about wide receiver here, right?
And we've got some good ones that are left on the board.
You know I'm not taking one for the New Orleans Saints because, you know, they've got Crystal Labet.
They've got Bryce Lance.
They've got Jordan Tyson.
They've got Devon Valet.
You knew that.
So you knew that at number 10 here for the Jets coming up in a second,
you were still going to have the full buffet.
That's true mock draft gamesmanship right there, my friend.
And I respect it.
Let a man and let a young fellow cook in the new MDS.
Let the young.
Let's throw some oil on the sabachi grill.
Cook, which by the way,
you said this a picture of the NFL SEC group chat.
Have you, you frying up some.
The folks, the second that the weather turned.
In the great state of New York.
Yep.
This man was outside lighting the hibachi grill and getting after it.
Man, I love grilling in the fall.
You're not sweating.
Nothing like it.
Yeah, it's just premium, premium work.
True.
Thank you for a shout-out for my homemade habachi rice.
Yeah, you deserved it.
I didn't do the sake squirt myself.
To yourself?
Yeah.
While you're grilling, you're just, you're just like under your breath, you're like, all right, who wants to hockey?
Me.
Oh, brother.
Okay.
You know, funny enough, do Orleans picking at nine.
Legitimate deal in Stewart's spot, potentially.
For sure.
They could go interior offensive line.
When Caesar Ruiz's contract up?
I don't think they take...
Well, boy, do I have the tool for you to find that out.
Yeah, let's see.
Let's see.
Is it this upcoming year?
Is it the year after?
I don't see him.
I don't see his name?
No, I guess not.
I guess he is saint for life.
Maybe.
He signed the lifetime deal.
He signed a nine-year contract.
We're not going with wide.
No, he actually is under contract next year and then has two void years.
Ah, okay.
Okay.
Kind of, you know, the phony setup of...
Zach is asking, can we get a Chase Young shout out?
Chase Young looks fantastic.
Reborn.
Where's this come from?
I mean, he looks like the version of the player that was drafted number two overall
when he was drafted.
Crazy.
Yeah, yeah.
We love to see it.
He's one of the most powerful edge rushers in the NFL right now.
And he is winning constantly with power moves.
And it's a lot of fun to watch.
I would have guessed he's at least 29 or 30.
This is his age 27 season.
He turned age 27 in the offseason.
Damn.
I know.
It's crazy.
He was a young prospect, though.
Brother, I think I'd take Dylan Stewart here.
Yeah, risk reward situation.
Because I just, I don't think you take an offensive lineman of the offensive linemen that are left.
Maybe you think about.
tight end, but man, they're utilizing their tight ends so well already.
I don't feel like it's like a number nine overall lead.
Even for, you know, if you're somebody out there who loves trade as green from
LSU, I don't, I don't think you're doing that here.
I was take Dylan Stewart, you know, if you're just, you know, tuning in and you miss what we
talked about earlier in the show.
Stewart is suspended from South Carolina.
I don't think he plays for the Gamecox again.
I think it's much more likely that he's in the 2028 draft.
But if he declares for this draft, he is one of the most talented edge rushers that we
have seen come through in a long, long time.
Maybe going back to the Chase Young draft when he was coming out, maybe even before that.
He is that talented and he is that good.
But because of why he was suspended by South Carolina for just not listening to coaches,
punching the Alabama player on the field, who knows?
It's a giant guess.
But the Saints do have an edge need even outside of Chase Young.
And Dylan Stewart and Chase Young would be an insane pass.
first duo, that is for sure. So you're back on the clock.
So I didn't think that we'd get Dylan Stewart in the top 10, but I think that it does
make too much sense for how the board fell for the Saints there at number nine.
The Jets on the clock at 10, they've got an archmanning and Will Eccles.
So a good balance of offense and defense here.
Man, this is one of those situations for the Jets.
There's just so many different directions you can go.
I've narrowed it down to two players.
I'll be quick on the players that are, are,
didn't make it as finalists.
Like Cam Coleman and Charlie Becker
for how they win down the field.
Yeah, you love them.
But that almost feels like a little bit of a luxury
for the Jets at this point
because they have a lot of talent at pass catcher.
And yes, Cam Coleman and Charlie Becker
are in a different range than an Adonai Mitchell.
But like the Jets are pretty deep at passcatcher
where they need to bolster up other areas.
I like Ellis Robinson and the Jets will need a corner.
I just don't know if I love them at Tate.
we'll see at the end of the year.
Obviously, they just extended Brees,
but ironically, Jaden Ball is the exact kind of big power running back
that they need in this offense to compliment Brees.
It's just too early for that.
So it does come down to KJ. Bolden
because Mika Fitzpatrick's been hurt
and they're just thin at safety.
They've been getting by with Dane Bellin and Andre Sisko.
We both played well, but they're kind of journeyman safeties.
And then how about Chris Cole, Trevor, from the same defense?
Demario Davis at 37, it's unbelievable.
He still is a good player.
The Jamie and Sherwood extension, they gave him as a total bust.
He's starting by default.
It's tough to watch.
So if you factor in DeMario is 37,
Sherwood hasn't been a good fit in Aaron Glenn's defense at all.
Linebacker's a colossal need.
Colossal.
It's not even like a little need.
Chris Cole is,
A missile.
I mean, you turn on the tape with this guy, and you saw I have him 28 from my preseason board.
It is ridiculous the range this guy has at 235 pounds.
Sideline to sideline, explosive.
The tricky part for me is, can I find a capable linebacker in this class that has some depth with this in the second round?
When I know I probably can't find a KJ Bolden.
That's the problem I have.
with passing on Bolden here.
So I'm going to go with Bolden.
Ooh, okay.
The Jets haven't, the Jets haven't had that kind of talent at safety
with that kind of range and physicality combo in a while.
But I did want to highlight how much I thought about linebacker.
Chris Cole's a hell of a prospect.
I think he's more of a seek and destroy type of a linebacker than he is necessarily like a coverage player.
But you mentioned in this situation, if he gets to play next to Mario Davis,
you feel really good about that back and forth duo.
KJ Bolden is a hell of a football player in his own right.
I mean, he's going to get talked about as a top 15 type of a player.
I think he could do it all.
He's a reliable tackler.
He can play in coverage for it.
He can play in the box.
I think he can play in the slot.
I think that he is a hell of a football player.
So nice little haul there for the Jets.
What is it, Archmanning, Will Eccles, KJ Bolden,
and then you're kind of waiting for some offensive pieces later in the draft sort of with this strategy here.
They'll need a center or a guard on day two, but that's where you draft.
centers and guards typically.
We got some centers and guards in this class.
We really do.
Who do we have up here?
Oh, the Atlanta Falcons.
So coming off an absolute slacking of the Green Bay Packers, you know, things did look good
for this team.
Offensive tackle.
Jake Matthews has really struggled this season.
Juan Taylor has as well.
Who do we have an offensive tackle?
Okay, so like, Eugene Williams, Nikki Prongos.
Melvin Siani.
I guess Trevor Loutk, right, I don't have him listed as a tackle, but you can think about him as well.
Greg Johnson can apparently play every position like an all pro, the interior offensive lineman from Minnesota.
So I do think I'm probably going wide receiver here, though, just because Becker and Coleman are both still on the board.
And those guys are so immensely talented.
It's been a disappointing start to the season for Cam.
And I don't want to be too hyperbolic about it.
But I am really, I think it's a toss up between these two players.
I'm going to go with Cam Coleman.
But I think if you would go with Becker, my immediate response would go, yep, see it.
Cool.
Great.
I think that Charlie Becker is a top 15 type of a talent at wide receiver.
I'm with you.
I think that some people who go, oh, you know, he's just, he's Alec Pierce reincarnate, he's just a deep ball type of receiver.
I don't agree.
I think that he is, I think he's got a lot of strength at the catch point.
I think he's a better route runner than he gets credit for.
And then on top of that, he's also been one of the best vertical wide receivers in all of college football over the last two years.
So it's close.
I'll go Camp Coleman here at a respect for, I think, the full body of work.
But it was toss up between Charlie Becker.
Well, I'm going to take Becker right now to the commanders.
All right, there we go.
It's kind of made the decision easy for me.
Of course, you have Terry McLaur.
here. You know, Diggs is a bridge option. I like Antonio Williams as their number three in the
slot. But Becker just helps you stretch the field in a way that I don't know if any of these guys
really will next year. And he's got the size, he's got the strength, he's got the athleticism
where that's the kind of skill player they're missing right now. So that was just a really, really
easy pick for the commanders. I would have obviously thought about maybe bolstering the offense.
line or getting another impact defender if I thought somebody met the value of this pick.
But I think Charlie Becker is the best combination of need and value at 12 here.
For the Pats 13, yeah, Drake Mays been bad this year.
I mean, he's been one of the worst quarterbacks in football by a wide margin.
And unfortunately, like, it's a lot of just decision making stuff with him.
It's not like, oh, you know, the offensive line's been so bad.
So he's getting pressured all the time.
And the offensive line's been okay for the team.
I don't think they're the major issue.
And when I look at this offensive line, like, yeah,
Morgan Moe's getting a little bit older,
but you got Caleb Lomu sitting behind him,
you got Jared Wilson at center,
you have Elijah Barrett Tucker,
Will Campbell's playing decent to start the year.
Like on WENU injury was huge for them.
Yeah, yeah.
He broke his ankle.
I think it's broken.
Was it a broken ankle?
Yeah, so he's down and out for the year.
May's just like not seeing the field right, man.
No.
These teams are dropping.
you know, they're not blitzing him.
They're letting him hold onto the ball.
And the longer he holds onto the ball,
the more that he panics.
He's seeing much less man coverage
than he did the previous season.
And dissecting zone has been a major issue for him this year.
On defense, because Jaden Baugh's right there.
I don't think they'd take Jaden Baugh.
They have Carlton Davis.
Obviously, Christian Gonzalez, who they paid,
is one of the best corners in the game.
Let me see the board again, Chef.
Yeah, Key Juan Lacey is there.
Tradez Green is there.
Eli Rirdin's actually playing really well for them.
Kelly Jones is interesting.
When is Carlton Davis's deal up, actually?
Probably only has one more year left on it.
I thought he signed a three year.
And, you know, the third year is always phony on those deals.
Yeah, it's Fugazi.
It's Fugazi.
Doesn't exist.
You don't see a lot of starting corners in their mid-30s.
Yeah, $0
$0 guaranteed in 2027 for him
They save $16.5 million that they cut him
And he'll be 31 next year.
He's getting cut.
So I do think that he is getting cut.
Or the deal reworked, of course, but
I think Corner, I'm looking at Kelly Jones
and Ellis Robinson here.
One of those two guys.
Ellis is physical and they really like that.
they do kind of depends on just how much
you know how much man coverage
they want to play
I'll go Ellis let's go Ellis Robinson the fourth
let's get him off the board and that's kind of getting ahead of a need
not that Carlton's playing bad this year I don't think he's playing bad to start
the year but I think we're kind of just getting ahead of things with the way that
the team is built I don't think that they take a receiver here
maybe they would if we get a little bit closer to the offseason it feels like
that's going to be an obvious but we'll go Ellis Robinson for them here
at 13.
All right, the Cardinals at 14.
That could have been a potential pick there on the board.
Still think they need more impact guys up front.
The thing is, this class gets kind of weird when, especially if Dylan Stewart ends up
not being in this class, right?
Because after Simmons goes, there's a lot of opportunity for guys to rise through the
year, but as we look at it right now, it's not this overwhelming next guy up in the top
15.
For edge rushers you're saying?
Yeah, yeah.
Sorry, I should have specified that.
Yeah, can we see edge rushers?
Yeah, I mean, like, Yonsa Pierre,
your boy Cleve Lubin.
I love Clemmer.
Boba Cochreori from Notre Dame's
having a really good start to the season.
Yeah, both their edge rushers are impressive.
But yeah, you're right.
It's a lot of names that we know,
but are you taking those guys, you know,
top 15, top 20?
Yeah, I'm not convinced on that.
yet. I know. That's what makes it really tricky. I like Lubin enough that I could start that
combo here. It's a little early. The thing that's big for him, he played really well against
PJ Williams in that match. He did. Yeah, he had a sack off of pure power where it was like,
I think it's seven pressures in that game, not all against PJ Williams, but I think that, man,
It's like what else do you want to do?
He keeps winning these matchups.
And at some point, it's kind of the conversation we had with Messador last year
where you get to it.
And you're like, he's older, but he keeps playing well against really good competition.
At what point is he just a good player?
So I see some of the chat saying offensive tackle as well.
They do need offensive tackle for sure.
Like if you like Trevor Lout.
I do like Trevor Lough.
I do like Trevor Lough.
Lalk.
Because, you know, he's, so he's a top 25 player on the board.
I have him listed as a guard, but he plays tackle for Iowa right now.
And you have talked about wanting him to really get a shot at tackle before you're
kicking him inside.
Yeah, I like that idea.
I also think schematically he would fit with the floor, which is really, really important.
Yes.
Their run game.
So let's go Trevor Loughke, get them a right tackle, you know, and obviously continue to build
their offensive line.
And I just, I do think they need more impact defenders, but
The board just didn't really break right for me to, you can't invent an impact defender when they're all off the board.
It's true.
Cleveland on the board here, I still look at quarterback.
Yeah.
Who do we have a quarterback who's left available?
Everyone.
Yeah, C.J. Carr, Dante Moore, Trinidad Chambliss.
Drake Lindsay, obviously having a really good year.
I don't think, I'm not considering him this high yet, but I think, you know, you continue to play.
well and I think that we could get to that point certainly, especially with the fact that he
is just, he's built like an NFL quarterback is and he's playing really well this year, playing a lot
better than he did last year. So he's taking that next step, which is great to see. I think that
this comes down to C.J. Carr and Trinidad Chamblis, the it kind of just depends on which
quarterback Todd Munkin would want more. I'm going to take Trinidad. Okay. I'll go, I'll go
Trinidad here at 15, I just feel as though the poison in which he plays with, how he plays under
pressure, out of structure and in structure, how he just dissect his own defenses. I mean,
he reminds me a lot of, and I think that it's funny because some people will take this as an
insult. He reminds me a lot of Brock Purdy. When Brock Purdy is playing at his best.
It's not an insult. And now I think that Trinidad's got a better arm than Brock Purdy, but the way
that Brock Purdy approaches the game, how it just physically, you just want to doubt Brock Purdy
every single time he takes the field. And I say that because I did that for the longest time.
And now at this point, I just have to go, you know what? Didn't matter. He just, he's good. He's good
at playing the position. And I think the Trinidad is just one of the best in the country at how he
approaches the game. And I think he's got a lot better physical traits than most quarterbacks who are of
his size. And it makes it so he is.
is certainly fearless to still attack over the middle of the field, which is a major issue with
some of those guys who don't really have that statute to them. So I go Chamblitz here at 15 for the Cleveland
rounds. All right. The bears are on the clock at 16. Kind of a weird spot because, I mean,
the bears, it's not that hard to know what they need. Like it always seems like they need help in the
front seven, especially they're even thinner there now. The only a little tricky thing with this
When you look at the detackles, some of them, and Will Eccles is off the board.
He doesn't fit this mall.
But like not all of them have played up to expectations yet, I think, which is kind of
interesting.
I mean, coming into the season, we were expecting Moten and Stone to really, really take over,
I feel like.
And I think Moten has been kind of disappointing compared to expectations.
I still have a lot of belief in Justin Scott because of the potential.
You should.
So that would be where I would go if I'm just drafting talent.
Or your boy.
Who's my boy?
Oh, Amad Moten.
Yeah, yeah, sure, sure.
I think Moten's been kind of disappointing this year after that national championship.
I think I'd go Justin Scott just because I believe in the athlete and the upside so much.
And he's had a good floor against the run this year.
I just want to see more moments of like real pass rush juice.
That's my thing with Justin Scott.
But this is what the Bears need up front.
We just had the conversation of like besides Cleve Lubin, there's not really a perfect edge in this place.
So I'm going to take a traits based defensive tackle that I think is going to get a lot better as the season goes on.
He's been, Justin Scott's been fine, but he hasn't taken over yet.
Bengals on the clock here at 17.
Okay, I have a fun pick and I have a more practical pick.
Well, you got to make the fun pick.
It's a September mock draft.
I like both of them is the thing.
The practical pick to me is Kelly Jones.
Kelly Jones, I think, becomes a shutdown outside corner for them.
I think it allows them to have a lot of flexibility with how they're playing.
you know, Dax Hill and DJ Turner in and out of the slot.
If you know that you got Kelly Jones on the outside, he is,
Kelly Jones is sort of why you drafted to Cario Davis,
but I think that he is a much better athlete,
much more fluid athlete and much better shut down cornerback
at that size of why you drafted a player like Takario Davis.
The fun pick, that's the practical pick.
The fun pick is Jaden Baugh.
Because Chase Brown,
Chase Brown's a free agent this coming off season.
And, you know, paying running backs is never this big guarantee type of a thing.
I think Chamon J.P. Ryan is a free agent as well.
So are you in a situation where you have the opportunity to start Jaden Ball on this team with Joe Burrow,
the offensive line playing as well as they are?
You have T. Higgins. You have Jemar Chase.
So Jaden Ball is actually the fun pick.
I don't think they could afford the fun pick,
even though I just said all this rubbish that it's September and you should make the fun pick.
I don't,
I don't dislike their corners.
I don't know if that's a crazy take.
They're just giving up a lot of explosives.
Yeah.
So far,
three weeks through the season.
They're just so underwhelming in the middle of the field to me,
like that linebacker.
But you got to really,
really love a Chris Cole or a player of that elk to take him at 17.
I could get with Chris Cole and Sammy Brown, I think, are also practical picks here.
I think you could be okay with that.
Now it's early, I think, for both of them at this point in time, which is why I immediately went with Baugh as the more fun pick there.
Some people are talking offensive line, but they also drafted Connor Liu.
And so I don't want to totally give up on Connor Liu kind of coming up from that team and eventually becoming a starter for them.
Right, coming back from the ACL.
Yeah, yeah.
I'll go Kelly Jones.
There it is.
Maybe I'm not drafting a corner for this team, you know, moving forward.
But they have given up a lot of explosive.
I think their bottom 10 in the NFL and total explosive plays given up in the passing game.
And it was a struggle for them when they played single high against Aaron Rogers this past week,
whether it was cover three or cover one.
They just really struggled.
And Aaron Rogers was tearing him apart.
and so yeah, we'll go Kelly Jones,
somebody who I think other than Leonard Moore
could be the best cover corner in the class.
All right, the Browns, again,
you had them take Trinidad, right?
I did, yeah.
It's kind of a funky spot.
I think the defense is playing well.
Mason Graham looks awesome,
like truly awesome.
They have some promising signs,
not only with their young offensive linemen,
but Denzel Boston and Harold Fanon look like long-term mainstays
to factor into their past catching group.
I'm not there yet with Concepcion,
who I didn't love as much as a lot of people as a prospect,
but he's going to get the time, obviously, to show that.
I guess the question kind of becomes,
because I love Greg Johnson for this team,
but how much did they like the setup of their offensive line?
Like Austin Barber has been fine,
and he's had to play guard.
And then it feels like how much longer
or did they expect Zion Johnson,
Elton Jenkins, to be a part of this line?
Like, taking Greg Johnson feels like a long-term kind of play
that you feel like you're getting an impact offensive lineman.
It's a tricky spot.
I mean, I like Judkins at running back.
I'm not thinking about one of the really good running backs here.
I like the Brown's defensive line a lot.
Somebody said, F at another course.
They already did that. It didn't work out. When they did that previously, it didn't look. It didn't work out.
Honestly, another DB came, you know, top of mind. But I just, not hitting this spot, not at 18. It feels like a ton of early to midday two DPs right now. So someone in the chat said Judkins doesn't look good. That's what Joe Wright said. That's interesting.
I mean, you're not, you don't have to, like, force it, but
ball is good enough to go here.
Here I go talking myself into the running back.
I don't know if...
Ball is good enough to be taken here.
I actually have no idea whether or not that they would take him.
I really don't know.
Well, I've decided I'm just going to do it because he's my favorite player on the board.
All right.
Man, he was our favorite running back this summer.
And I know there was a lot of mixed opinions because Lacey's really impressive.
and some people like Hardy and on on it goes.
Bo at 225 pounds has the footwork of a 190 pound back,
but actually uses his 225 pounds when he has to.
Right.
And that is just such a great, great baseline to have at the position.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It really is.
The chat, I get to feel the disappointment in the chat,
not because of the pick, but that he didn't make it to their favorite team.
Oh, sure.
Yeah, yeah.
That's how it always goes.
Well, we've got the pounders, the Carolina pounders up here at number 19.
Two players immediately come to mind here for me.
One of them is trade as green because this team has been trying to get a go-to pass-catching tight end for a long time.
I mean, you see that with how much Darren Waller is involved in the passing game.
And he's been a great signing for them, honestly.
They loved Sadiq last year, loved him.
Yeah, I mean, I think that they've been trying to get an impact tight end for a while.
Their interior offensive line is also not off to a good start this year.
I just don't feel like they're moving the people in the way that they had been previously.
Robert Hunt's not having the best start to the season.
And when I was watching them run power, it just didn't feel like they were getting that movement up front, again, like they were previously.
So Greg Johnson, I think of him, right?
I think it's between Greg Johnson, the interior offensive lineman who could play so many different spots for you on the offensive line.
Greg Johnson started at center this past week and he looked fantastic.
He started at offensive tackle.
He started at left and right tackle.
He started at guard.
I think his home position is at guard.
But this is a dude who can do absolutely everything for you.
And when you have that type of interior offensive linemen, it's really hard for me to pass up on them.
But this team has been searching for a pass-catching tight end for you.
years, I think.
He's in a blender, folks.
They just went with Monroe Freeling last year.
Right.
What's the, what's Robert Hunt's contract, actually?
Man, he got a crazy deal.
Let's see.
Yeah, I'll have the chef look on our mock draft simulator to see if Robert Hunt's up next
year.
So he is under contract through 2028, but his guaranteed money is up after this year.
so they could move on from him if they want.
He's 30 years old.
Damien Lewis contract.
Let's see.
Damian Lewis, he's got no more guaranteed money on his deal either.
He's 29.
He's about to be 30.
Ah, screw it.
I'll go Greg Johnson.
Let's do it.
I was going to take him at 20.
Yeah, well, you got sniped.
Yeah, I know.
Thanks.
You got absolutely.
And I got no backup plan.
No, I'm just kidding.
And you got no backup plan.
But I think that's a good time for us to.
introduce the can't miss prospect of the day from our friends over at fire TV.
Our friends over fire TV, they're making sure that you can't miss any of your favorite teams,
any of your favorite games.
And we're here on NFL stock exchange to make sure that you guys never miss a can't miss
prospect.
Hey, Greg Johnson, the interior offensive lineman for Minnesota is genuinely a can't miss type of
a prospect.
I mentioned this already.
He started at center this past week.
He has started at offensive tackle before.
I think the first game that he ever started at left tackle last year was against Ohio
state. They just went, hey, here you go. And he actually played pretty dang well. So to me,
he has shades of Joe Tooney where you remember the Chief's Offensive Line situation and their
offensive tackle situation was so bad that Joe Tooney had to start at left tackle. And he,
and he was okay at it. There were times when it's like, all right, you don't have the length to
start full time at offensive tackle. But you're able to play well here because of high football
IQ, great core strength, great grip strength, good base.
level for just how to play the position in offensive line in general.
When you have that sort of chess piece along the offensive line, it's hard to pass that up.
That flexibility is so rare and it is so valuable.
And I really do think that Greg Johnson brings that to you and he can bring that to the
Carolina Panthers.

I did have a backup plan.
What's the backup plan?
But I am dying laughing at the chat calling us out for going a commercial during the
Jags pick because that's what the NFL draft does to them all the time.
But I want to be clear, that wasn't an ad breaker or commercial.
That was the prospect, can't miss prospect of the week from Fire TV.
True. Yeah. It's very...
It's not like the 900th time you've seen Jason Kelsey changing the TV to the multi-view.
You know a commercial I'm talking about?
Yeah, so yeah, the NFL Sunday ticket.
How can you not?
Yeah, how can you not?
Every hour of every day.
Yeah, how can you not?
I have Sunday TV.
It's basically, I mean, that's how it goes for Sundays in my house.
I got to have the quad box on.
And I do that with Sunday TV.
So yeah, I do it.
Yeah, but how many times does Alyssa say to you, we're going to be the worst host ever?
we're not going to be able to have the games on for all our guests.
That would never come up in the Sycambe household.
No, it wouldn't because we like our Sundays to be sacred
and nobody comes over to our house on Sundays.
Correct.
Well done.
All right, Jacksonville at 20.
I wanted to do this earlier,
but it just didn't make sense at pick 10, I think it was.
I'm taking Chris Cole.
I think 20 is totally reasonable for him.
They do need linebacker after this year.
Jacksonville's roster is freaking awesome.
They have really, really built up this team.
Trevor Lawrence is playing as well as he ever has.
Under Liam Cohn, they'll get a deal done with Parker Washington.
But linebacker's the one spot that you look at and go,
okay, they're going to need not only a body there,
but somebody that can really play and play with speed and tenacity
under Anthony Campanilly.
And that's what Chris Cole brings.
Yeah.
I mean, I like this pick, especially with them losing Devin Lloyd.
Right?
And I don't think it's one in, one out.
They're not exactly the same player.
but he is a very talented sort of seek and destroy, again, type of linebacker for them.
So I don't know if I don't even know if I would say like their linebacker room necessarily needs like replacing.
You're just getting an incredible athlete that you get to play in the middle of the field and the rotation for linebackers.
So I know that their linebackers, I think are playing well this year from what I have seen.
But this is this is so much more of a you're just adding to the talent in the middle of that defense.
So right.
I'm with you here.
I like this.
and man, the Jags, going back to their draft class,
I know it's early, early returns,
but hey, however it came about,
I'm very, you know,
my face was memed with the Borker pick
with him going 54 overall
and how I didn't like the drafts
and I felt like they picked a bunch of guys way too early
and they were reaches, but holy cow,
they have done a great, or 56, not 54,
but they look good early on and this team is rolling
and you just mentioned how
they are all playing really, really well together.
And I think that's the young guys included.
So however it came about, man, I said this after the show.
You know, like I didn't like the draft when it happened.
But if we get, you know, a year, two years down the road and it was absolutely a home run for them,
you know, I'm raising my hand and I'll tell you that I was wrong.
And so far, so good for Jacksonville, they look like one of the best teams in the NFL.
And I hope they continue it because they're a lot of fun, whichever Lawrence and Liam Cohen and how that team is flying around.
The pregnon pick was a freaking slam dunk.
For sure.
And he's been great.
He said that at the time.
And he's been awesome for them.
So that's not a total like hated this draft situation.
That was a slam dunk.
And how about Josh Cameron too?
Their sixth round pick at wide receiver?
Senior ball stand out.
You talk about your smile when you were smiling about the Jets having three first round picks.
Liam Cohen was asked about Josh Cameron earlier this week and like he couldn't hide the smile on his face for what he does on special teams, how the reward.
by giving him wide receiver snaps.
He caught that crazy Trevor Lawrence touchdown.
Was it in week one?
Yeah, I think it was week one against Cleveland,
where he basically just threw it to a spot
in between defenders where it feels like no quarterback
even attempts that, let alone completes it.
So fun times in Jacksonville right now.
The New York Giants.
What about the Steelers?
Oh, sorry, the Steelers.
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
I forgot the Steelers on the board here.
We're going to learn how much they like Drew Aller behind the season.
scenes.
Yeah, we are, aren't we?
Oh, yeah.
I thought I was picking for the Giants.
So now I'm all messed up.
They started Maxianzsche for the first time this past weekend,
and he looked fantastic.
That's big for that line.
Aaron Rogers is finally throwing the ball down the field.
We'll see if that continues.
But you know what's funny about that game is Rogers had a 3.1-9,
time to throw, which was the second highest time to throw since he had become a member of the
Pittsburgh Steelers. You know what the other one was? The highest time to throw? Also against the
Bengals last year. Well, there you go. So he knows that he can get cozy against the Bengals,
but no one else. Carving it up. Yeah. Against the Bengals. Yeah. What's Jailen Warren's contract
at? Good question. Boy, did he have a day yesterday? He was awesome.
Jalen Warren when healthy is a really, really good player.
All right, so he's under contract in 2027 as well.
Does it keep you from drafting Q1 Lacey here from Ole Miss?
Maybe, maybe not.
But I think Lacey dealing with injury, not great.
So I think they're done with Joey Porter, Jr.
Completely.
It just feels like the sides don't value each other.
Like Porter thinks he's near the top of the corner market,
and the Steelers wisely don't agree with that.
No, and not even that.
they don't play man anymore.
Like they don't play man coverage.
And so that's exactly what Joey Porter is.
And so I think Joey Porter is wanting to get paid.
And they're like, dude, we don't even run the scheme in which you would be valuable to pay you.
So would this be at Ashton Hampton territory?
It could be if they want to go corner for sure.
Now they signed Jamel Dean.
They drafted Dylan Everett, Dalyan Everett.
They still have Jalen Ramsey.
If they're going corner, I think you do.
Yeah, you think about Ashton Hampton.
from Clemson here. But what about another one of his Clemson teammates? What about Sammy Brown?
Because what's Patrick Queen's contract at? It can't be that much longer.
What's he at now? Okay, he's done after this year. There you go. Queen's done after this year.
I'm going to go Sammy Brown. Give me a linebacker here. Give me a linebacker.
All right. Sammy Brown. Kingsson Villamu Assa also could have thought about him. He
Yeah, he'll be in that combo.
The tape was nice since he has come back from injury.
He is a downhill machine, but I think Sammy Brown's got a little bit more comfort when it comes to coverage, a little bit better all around.
But Villiamuasa is very athletic, and he is an aggressive linebacker.
And if that's what you want, man, I think he could have been the pick there as well.
Giants are up.
Giants really do have a lot of needs.
They're not a bad team when healthy.
Obviously, they've just had a miserable start when you lose your quarterback.
You lose Brian Burns.
Malik Mavers is kind of getting his feet under him.
They're not a bad team, but they do have really important needs.
For me, they still need help at detackle long term.
They need help at corner long term.
They traded for nine.
They did trade for nine.
He will be starting a game for them at some point.
It just feels inevitable.
Yeah.
Yeah, which is what a group of personalities in the Giants quarterback room.
Jackson Dart, James Winston, 9, and Jake Hainer.
Who had like the craziest photo shoot ever for a quarterback.
Am I wrong?
I can't remember what the photo was.
I don't remember seeing it.
It's crazy work.
Hold on.
I'll search it on that.
It's crazy work.
But, I mean, obviously it was just goofing around, but.
just a couple of guys goofing
it's just having a laugh
oh yeah
yeah
I mean it's hilarious
it is pretty good
man
basically my thought process here
is as much as I'd like
to take another receiver for them
they're just going to have to hope
that Malachi Fields develops
rather than take him one this early
I wonder what their long-term thoughts are
for Maui Noah
if he's going to take over for right tackle
after Illuminaur
because they really need
a D-Tackle or a corner where I'm looking at this and going, man, like Ashton Hampton comes to
mine. The problem with D-Tackle, which is their most obvious need, is who, like, none of these
guys are playing up to the standard of being a first-round pick right now. They're just not.
They can get there, you know, especially Mari Washington and David Stone and Moten.
Yeah. But I just, I don't love them at 22 right now.
I think Moten in Washington
People are streaming at me in the chat about Trevor Lough
Didn't we have them go to Arizona like 10 picks ago
Guys, long gone
Yeah I get it good shout
You gotta make sure you're here on time for the mock draft episodes
We will, I've seen people ask about this
We will find a way hopefully to have the ticker
Oh
I've seen questions about that
We're not there yet
We're not there yet
So if you show up late to the stream
which we get it.
You have employment and things to worry about.
No, we don't.
We don't.
We don't get it.
We don't get it.
Yeah.
You got to be on time.
On time is late.
Yeah.
If you're five minutes, if you're on time, you're late.
Yeah, you got to be five minutes early.
Liam Reynolds was an absolute banger.
He goes, that's tough loutk.
That's a tough lout.
That is a tough lout.
Man, you are unc status with us, Liam.
I love it.
Yeah.
Nicely done.
I'm going to take Ashton Hampton.
All right.
All right.
Giants are thin at corner and could be even more thin at corner next year.
Even if Colton Hood develops, you know, how much longer are the rest of their guy?
Like, Deonté Banks is her and he was turning a corner, but it has been really rocky road for him.
They need more corner depth.
And Hampton is a very hard-nosed kind of player at that position.
Chuck in all caps, coming from the guys who are always late.
We knew that somebody would get there with it.
Yeah, got our ass.
So the Seattle's the Oaks here.
They're up at number 23.
I think that this pick fits like a glove.
I'm taking Nick Marsh here.
Nick Marsh to me is the perfect player for them
because, one, they need another wide receiver.
Nick Marsh, who played at Michigan State,
now he's playing in Indiana.
But specifically, you've got Cooper Cup on the team,
not just for sort of his stabbiness,
but also because, like, you know,
he'll get his nose in there as a blocker,
he knows where to be, he knows to help out in the run game,
like all that kind of stuff.
Nick Marsh might be the best run blocking wide receiver in this draft.
It might be Jeremiah Smith when, you know, he's, he didn't really need to do it too often.
But just the strength profile, I think you can say the potential is Jeremiah Smith.
But Nick Marsh is right there as one of the best, if not the best, blocking wide receiver that we have in this class.
And on top of that, he's a good wide receiver just overall in the passing game.
So for what he brings and that attitude and that physicality that the Seahawks preach,
I think he is a perfect fit for this team.
And I think you're going to see Nick Marsh mocked to the Seattle Seahawks quite a bit
as we kind of go through these early mock drafts until, you know, team needs might change a lot
when we get closer to November, December, things like that.
But for now, I think that that's a perfect pick for Seattle.
I love the fit not only schematically, but just the style of football player that that organization likes,
big, physical, tough, can kind of.
run through your face with the ball in his hands.
It's a good call.
The Broncos at 24.
This is kind of a weird spot.
Because one,
outside of Jonah Coleman,
who now is a sprained ankle,
I have not liked the running back room
for a team that really should be
as run heavy as they should be.
But I'm not going to take Lacey here.
It just feels like there's more important things to address.
I mean,
is Tradez green?
with Sean Payton.
Ooh.
You know,
Evan Ingram's getting a little older.
I know he could still play.
A little long in the tooth.
Yeah, he's 32.
He is 32.
Yeah, he's well-traveled player.
Giants, the Jacksonville, the Denver.
What did they sign him to?
Two-year deal?
Okay, so he's,
oh, next year,
next year is a void year for him.
There you go.
So I mean that, you know, you can activate the void year and you could just turn that into a real contract year.
But no, I think the trade as green is, I think that's a worthwhile call.
Peyton and Davis Webb, obviously, working on this offense.
They traded for Waddle.
They still have Cortland Sutton.
That's why KJ Duff's not in play here.
I don't love the defenders on the board.
I'm going to go with Trades Green.
He has the chance to be a really, really unique.
difference maker at that position. And he, you got to credit him. You know, he was really,
he blocks his ass off. It's not pretty because he's tall and he's still more lean, but the effort is
there. I think that that's a good pick for it, for them. I think that that makes a lot of sense.
The Lions, anybody in the secondary. I said to say, take the best safety of your corner and you
nailed the pick. Pick the anybody in the secondary. Let's see. May I jail him a
lane looks really good so far this season.
I think he's playing really well.
And he's got a lot of experiences like that single hive safety as well.
That they're missing with Kurt.
I mean,
we don't know what's going to happen with Kirby Joseph.
Yeah.
I don't know if I'd expect him back for the Lions the way that they've been talking about him.
No,
this is never real updates.
What was it,
what the cornerback room looked like?
well i i mean i covered the jets lines game yesterday it was no no i meant i meant on the board
but go off keep but keep going keep going no you talk about it it's top whoever you
whoever you take right here starting that's that's my hot take of the day for you right here
yeah let's go uh let's go jalen let's go jalen mclean from ohio state i you tay johnson i think
is in this conversation as well as as one of the top tier talent at the
safety position, especially for back-end coverage.
I know Kingston Lopo, we talked about him the last episode that we did last Thursday from
Cal.
He is more of a box downhill type of a safety.
They need more of a coverage safety.
So Jalen McLean to me is a really nice pick for them.
And that's a dire, dire position of need for this team.
All right, the Ravens at 26.
I was kind of leaning Jamari Johnson here.
you have a team that, although I actually am going to plot twist this.
I'm not going to take Jamari Johnson.
Wow.
Okay.
I'll explain why I was leaning that way.
Mark Andrews getting a little older.
Their tight end depth is taking a hit.
Obviously, they've lost some players in the pro market.
Kay Peeper here makes sense if they want to go back to the Iowa interior offensive line well that they've had success with.
But I'm going to take KJ. Duff.
I mean.
Oh, Zayflowers is freaking awesome.
Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Does the Jacoby Lane ascension?
Because he's hurt right now.
And apparently they love him.
I get it, but.
I think Duff is a much better version of Lane.
Right.
But I don't know.
I just, they love Lane.
It's the only, the only reason.
It sounded like he had a good summer.
And my problem is so highly about him.
So I'm not trying to like talk you out of the pick,
but it's like they,
I can see the comment section now
because you get the people who love to play.
Yeah, no, it makes, I get it.
But it's just so hard for me,
and I'm not at Ravens Camp, obviously.
But when I saw all that, I was like,
all right, I really want to see this play out on the field.
I'm rooting for Jacoby Lane,
had him at the Combine,
really, really level-headed dude.
I'm rooting for him.
I'm not.
But, man, I was talked into that
when he was at USC.
And then besides the Red Zone jump ball,
he just never developed as a wide receiver.
So then when I hear he's tearing up camp,
which is that kind of environment,
I'm like still a little skeptical,
and now he's hurt,
so we'll see if he can kind of become a player for them.
But Duff is so much different.
Duff has done such a good job
on a terrible Ruckers team this year,
not only winning the jump balls in the end zone,
but going over the middle of the field,
both in between the 20s
and the red zone shielding the coverage because he's a giant.
He's not fast, but he's fast enough
where he can generate enough separation at his size.
And for Lamar Jackson, you have a 6'220-pound wide receiver.
When you run around and you're looking for a guy to dominate the coverage,
like Duff is a nice fit here at 26.
I think that KJ Duff is an upgrade over both Elijah Surat and Jacoby Lane.
So I think he's an immediate.
starter for this team. The Eagles.
So I'll also kind of think of Jamari Johnson for the Eagles.
That makes a ton of sense.
They're thinner at tight end. But, man, what about offensive line too?
Like, hmm, because I, the offensive line has just not been playing very well for Philly.
I mean, are we in a situation where, you know, Cade Piper could make sense for them?
Of course he does.
Dynamic athlete, ass kicker in the run.
And like Sean Mannion, I think wants more athletic offensive linemen in there anyways.
So unless I'm forgetting somebody, I mean, they've got Kendall Drew, they have Willie Lampkin, you know, Dickerson's on IR.
They still have Steen, Michael Morris is a guard only.
Cam Juergens can play center for them.
I kind of like Cade Piper or Carter Smith here, one of these two guys.
One of these two.
Because Carter Smith, he starts at left tackle for Indiana right now.
I think he's much more of a center or a guard at the next level.
But I think that he's somebody who could be a starter on the interior at either position, to be honest with you.
I guess Piper makes more sense just schematically.
They're keeping Sean Mannion.
If it's going to stay the same, you get an athletic interior offensive lineman for you.
Let's go with Piper.
Let's go with Piper.
I think he's a better, I think he's a better scheme fit.
I think he's just a better athlete for what that run game wants to be.
Raiders, the Raiders picking 28 in this mock draft.
The 3-0 Raiders, by the way, I will add.
Yes, damn right.
Who are we taking?
I want a receiver.
The problem is we took the top four before this pick.
Any thoughts to juice Alexander?
He's getting some love as a top 50.
Yeah, I don't like him at 28 yet.
this really did not break the way I would have hoped.
Hezekiah Mass is playing really well.
We highlighted that last week.
Trading Stukes getting into the mix as well.
And that secondary,
Jacoby Dean looks like an excellent signing for them at linebacker.
He's been all over the place.
I mean,
I feel like their line has been really playing well as it's coached up,
where you typically always look and go like,
you got to just take offensive line for all the time.
I know the chat is really saying interior could be a help here.
That would go back to you took Peeper so that would leave Carter Smith or I like Serafeld too.
Carter Smith probably is more of a center.
Yeah.
He could play.
He could play guard.
Anthony Knapp too.
But Napp.
But NAP is, to me, Naps more of a power run game type of an offensive.
line. I've got him classified as a man in gap scheme offensive, offensive guard, whereas if you
click the advanced positions, you'll sort of see, like, it's zone stuff for the Raiders.
Like, they're running Tubiak's outside zone system, which Serafeld, I think, I think really
fits. And Carter Smith could as well. But, yeah, those are the two guys that I would also be
between. I'm going to go back to more of a summer eval.
And I know he's been banged up and playing through it.
But I still believe in David Stone's talent at defensive tackle.
All right.
That's one to me where he's really big and strong and talented.
And he's going to be playing through injury right now.
So it's not, it might not be his best, although I think he's playing fine,
just not taking over the way we always expect.
But man, the traits, the full sample size.
at 28.
Like, this was somebody that if he put it all together,
the first month of the season,
we'd be putting in top 10 to 15 picks of the mock draft.
So I'm going to go David Stone for the Raiders that still need D-Tackle help.
Okay.
So now the bills are on the clock here at 29.
It's kind of hard to identify too many needs with the bills
because it just feels like even on a game where they have five turnovers,
they still win.
But I think long-term interior offensive.
line makes sense for them.
I'm looking at Anthony Knapp.
I'm looking at Carter Smith.
One of those two guys, I think, could make
a lot of sense. They have
Torrance right now. They've got
McGovern and then it's Alec Anderson.
That's their Interior
3. Let's go
Carter Smith. I think Smith could start
for you at Guard or Center.
I think he's got that kind of flexibility to him.
And I think he plays that power game
that the bills like to play
in their downhill runs.
scheme. So Smith also just such a high football IQ type of a player.
And I think that even with less than ideal measurable, it's what has allowed him to
start an offensive tackle and succeeded offensive tackle over the last couple of years
at Indiana. But I think that he's a really, really nice player for them and could eventually
fill in again at Gardover Center. Bills have had a lot of continuity on the offensive line
for a long time. And that's a credit to them. It wouldn't shock me to see them make sure.
that they have a succession plan for any spot that opens up.
They always kind of, when one spot opens up,
Bean usually knows how to address it.
So I like your thinking there.
30 the Niners, this is really easy for me.
I'm taking Jamari Johnson.
This is a team last year that I thought
could have taken a tight end early
as much as Kittles great.
They obviously play a ton of heavy personnel.
Kittles still amazing even as he gets older.
unbelievable. But their tight end is such a premium position to them that even when their
tight end two is hurt, you feel it. And they've dealt with so much injury at wide receiver.
Obviously, they have other needs as well because of those injuries at wide receiver,
but I don't really like how that board is gone. So Jamari Johnson with Kyle Shanahan is just
a no-brainer. I think that Jamari is a potential first round type of a talent. I think he's
an all-around type of tight end. And we're seeing how the league definitely emphasizes the position.
the 49ers are tough.
Like the defensive line's not playing any better this year.
So you could certainly have thought about defensive line.
Moten could have been an option there for them.
But we're dealt a bad hand with luck too.
That's the thing.
Like on paper,
the D-Line's fine,
but then they're all hurt.
They're all hurt.
Or they're just not developing as fast as you would want them to.
We may get to the point where it's like,
it's got to be D-Line because I see a lot of people talking about D-Line
because of the early struggles.
But I also understand potentially wanting to,
get more receiving options and versatile players in there for them as well on offense.
Minnesota Vikings 31.
Brian Flores just absolutely added again this season.
Madman creating pressure in all sorts of ways.
Who are the quarterbacks?
Oh, CJ Carr is here.
This is easy.
And Dante Moore.
Yeah, because I thought about, I thought about Kiwan Lacey, honestly,
just them getting a very talented running back.
But them having the ability to get CJ Carr, it's got to.
be C.J. Carr, especially because
Kyler's been hurt and also
not good through the first three weeks
to the season. Small sample size. You got a long season to go, but
you trade J.J. McCarthy. You've moved on
from any sort of quarterback at the future thought with him there.
If the Vikings in any way, shape, or form have a quarterback
question, I think that you would address it here if C.J.
Card is on the board. So see a lot of people talking about
Kiwan Lacey, absolutely a fit for this team
and would love him in the backfield for Minnesota.
but that quarterback position has to find an answer before I'm taking a running back.
And with C.J. Carr still on the board, I feel pretty good about that one.
So, yeah, C.J. Carr to the Vikings at 31.
All right. Finally, the Chiefs at 32.
Oh, here we are again.
The Chiefs picking 32.
Amazing how that happens.
Why play the games?
No, I'm just kidding.
If you know the outcome anyway.
Draft season's the real season, folks.
This is a tricky one because both the tight ends went.
I don't love the true tackle board.
They are in such a weird place to tackle with what's going on with Josh Simmons.
That they have to start thinking about that.
We know they need better wide receiver play.
But we took a lot of the good ones that I really like in the first round.
Like we'll go back to the wide receivers.
Would you take your boy, PJ?
Williams?
I tackle?
I don't know.
You don't know?
I'm still kind of torn.
All right.
You liked him a lot?
I did.
I do.
I wonder if that lack of size
makes him more of a true day two
kind of pick.
Okay.
I mean, you'll pick 32 or kind of,
I know, I know. You can kind of get away with that.
You're basically there.
If you like the player, but if you're not convicted
enough on him, then I can
I can understand it.
Still figuring some things out.
You know, they have Armason Thomas there
in their edge rotation,
because I thought about Janze Pierre.
Hell yeah, they do, brother.
Yeah, he's had some splashy moments.
You know what?
It's my pick.
It's our Mockdraft simulator.
Yeah.
I'm taking Clef Lupin.
Oh!
So now you have Karloftus,
Armason Thomas, and Clevmer.
What's better than this?
It's a nice little power element.
with R. Mason as the speed across.
Is that the shortest arm edge rush room in the NFL?
Because what was Carlis?
Oh, he had to be like 32 and a half.
Let's see.
Pipe.
There he is.
Why didn't this show up here?
We'll get there.
Don't worry, everybody.
I promise we will get there.
Isn't Jolotti's arm short too?
Yes.
Yeah, so I nailed the type.
Yeah, so George Carloftus, wing span 23rd percentile, arm length, 16th percentile.
It's just a bunch of small-armed bull rushers.
Jolotti, 6th percentile.
Armason Thomas.
What was he?
Fifth percentile.
Yeah, baby.
I love it.
We got to type as ABT knows nothing says,
sought off shotguns in Kansas City.
Unbelievable.
Absolutely unbelievable.
They have a type, and we're continuing to give them the type here.
There we go, folks.
The entire first round of the mock draft.
You can see all the results.
Obviously, we have a results page here on the mock draft simulator.
You can also see where these guys were selected versus our boards as well.
So the big board that is used on the NFLSC mock draft simulator is a predictive board that we will change.
So it's a little bit of a combination of our thoughts and then also what we're just hearing as how high
these guys can be going because we're trying to create the most realistic mock draft simulator
possible. If you're picking for one team, there's all sorts of logic that's built on the back end when
it comes to team needs and priorities and how much they would weigh it, you know, versus, you know,
what they might have here, how many draft picks they have in the draft, where you take premium
positions, all that kinds of good stuff. After the draft, you can see a depth chart as well.
Again, this is powered by our friends over at the two deep. So make sure you guys are using them for
all your depth chart needs. You could see the new players that you that you, that you
drafted in those depth charts.
So it's pretty cool if you want to save it.
Put it on social media, show your friends, all that kind of good stuff.
It's a very easy way for you guys to do that.
You see multiple versions of what the depth chart is.
And then there is also draft grades.
And draft grades, we're still working through a little bit.
But ultimately, what we want to do is we have created these leaderboards for every single
team.
So if you're a Texans fan and if you are drafting for the.
the Houston Texans and you have what you would call a ranked draft.
You go, okay, I want this draft to be saved.
I want this to go into my ranked profile here.
As you do these drafts, you will have like an average score and you can get on the Houston
Texans leaderboard.
So all other fans out there of a certain team, you guys get to sort of draft against each
other and see which drafts get higher grades and you gain this draft ELO and ranking the
higher and the better that you draft for a single team.
Now, of course, even if you create a profile and you say, oh, I'm,
Houston Texans fan.
You can still draft for other teams.
You can get on other draft leaderboards if you think that you have a great strategy
there for certain teams.
And different things go into earning a really good grade.
Of course, picking good players, picking talent, picking team needs,
appropriate selections, trades as well, being able to wheel and deal and get some
extra value there for certain picks and getting more picks.
And so it's a really, really cool way to not just have a mock draft simulator,
but also build in the community aspect of it.
And that's what we're trying to do.
So we're tweaking that over the next week.
If you're in the NFLSE Discord,
you can get access to this early.
You can become part of the beta testers with us.
And then we're going to be sort of announcing it,
rolling it out,
telling the public about it about a week from now.
So come join the Discord.
Help us make this mock draft simulator,
the best mock draft simulator out there.
It is truly an MDS,
not just for the show,
but also for the people.
things and we've got a little suggestion box there as well for you guys to be able to click you
can report a bug you can make a suggestion of a feature that you would like to see and we'd love to
just get a list that we keep working through to make this thing bigger and better than ever the
more time goes on on your profile you could also like change the colors like if you're an eagles
fan you can say ooh i want to change the look and feel of this to be you know like eagles
colors so your your simulator and everything will go to eagles colors all that kinds of good stuff
There's so many different things.
So get in the Discord, check it out, play around with it.
Let us know what you think.
Let us know how it can improve and become one of the beta testers for us.
So, Connor, yeah, I feel like I've done a lot of talking there.
You've done a great job presenting this thing, you and the chef.
And shout out to everybody in the chat.
It's been so positive today and excited for this, just as excited as we've been to use it.
Obviously, mock drafts are a really big part of what we do on here, especially closer to draft season.
and right now we pick our spots,
but to have a way
to make them more informative.
That's what I always explain to people
because there's kind of that running joke
of like, oh my God, how many mock drafts?
It's like, well, if you actually use them
in an informative way rather than just kind of
throwing darts at a wall,
even if you don't like the player
that was taken to your team,
you learn about the player or the thought process
or what that team might like
or what that team might need.
Hopefully this mock draft simulator
serves those needs.
Yes, yes.
That is what we are hoping.
There is also a build your own big board feature as well.
If you guys want to do some searching and try to find that,
the chef's highlighting where the button is and you guys can create your own big board.
You can save it to your profile.
And you can even use your own big board when you are using the mock draft simulator.
And you know what?
That's all I'll say about to build your own big board because I think more time
can be devoted to that.
And let me just say,
so many of you out there
watch this show
and are connected to this community
because you say,
man, I love scouting.
I would love to do it myself.
I never know where to begin.
We kind of want to give you the framework
to be able to scout yourself.
So your profiles that you create,
you're going to be able to not just save big boards,
but you're also going to be able to customize
the profiles the way that you want to put in
your information, how you see a player.
So it's not just, oh, I think this guy's here and here
and here.
If you click on it on your profile,
your saved big board, you're going to be able to see your analysis. So we kind of want to
empower people to be the best scouts that they possibly can. But that's it. Again, if you guys want to
throw, if you guys want to check all of this stuff out, join the Discord, and then again,
it'll be public a week from now. Connor, anything else before we get out of here. No, stick around
for the Super Chats. Obviously, we'd love to see all you guys involved with using this to join the
Discord or wait a week, whatever you prefer. And I can't wait for this thing to
blow up and it's only going to get bigger and better to hear bigger and better from here.
So I'd love to hear ideas.
That's what we read the chat.
We read the comments.
And we know, God, there's a lot in this thing.
But you know the addicts are going to have a couple different things that make us go.
Oh, damn.
Yeah, that does make a lot of sense to add.
Yep.
Yep.
So again, we've got the buttons for feedback, the buttons for, you know, bugs or new features or
all that kinds of stuff.
Subscribe on YouTube.
Yes.
If you use a simulator, at least give us a sub.
Join the NFL-LSC community because it's only going to get better from here.
Appreciate everybody who is watching live or after the fact.
We love you no matter what.
Audio-only people.
We absolutely love you as well.
If you are watching this thing live, stick around for the after-the-episode part
where we're answering some of the super chats.
And if you miss that, of course, it's going to come out on the Friday episode.
So you'll be able to see it there.
For the chef, behind the scenes, not only putting on this show, but so much work to make
that mock draft simulator possible and bring it to life.
For Connor Rogers, I'm Trevor Sikkimus saying.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
Oh, sure. Yeah. The chef, I don't know if could they hear that or no, where you just didn't
know. No, no, they can't hear that. Okay. Okay. All right. Sorry. The chef just got in my ear because
I didn't realize that he made this little graphic here. Oh, this is great.
Shouting out some of the addicts who Tyler had already sort of sourced and had as our early
testers to make this possible to get this to this point. So shout out to the OG beta team,
NFLSE addicts. You guys' name is on the screen. We love you. We appreciate you. These are some of the
people there.
always in the chat.
They're always in the Discord.
And we wanted to show our appreciation by giving them the first look and allowing them to have the first crack at checking this thing out and giving some feedback.
So shout it to the OG beta testers.
But you guys who are in the Discord, you guys are the next wave of that.
We love y'all.
We appreciate you making this community the best.
It's how tools like this and things like this are all possible.
So we love you guys.
We appreciate it.
And with that, thank you so much for watching this episode of the NFL Stock Exchange Show.
we will see you guys on Thursday.
