We had a Discord mock draft going when the trade happened and it killed all the momentum. You should totally check out the board. You damn right it is. Look at Tony Lee getting in here next. A great move for the Giants. I think they go Stiles and Tyson. We actually didn't. I don't even think we had an opportunity. for them to go styles outside of that top 10 mock that we did, which they came away with Caleb Downs and Sonny Styles.

It would be a hell of a haul there for them. But I think the Stiles is absolutely in the conversation for them at number five. I wonder though if Stiles and Downs are on the board. I kind of feel like they're going to go downs and then wait to see if Stiles maybe is available for them at 10. I don't think you will be. So Lancy said, I bungled so hard. Oh my gosh. Whoa.

You're right. There's precedence here because it's draft season. It might be NHL playoffs and NBA playoff season in WrestleMania, but first and foremost, it's draft season. unless the lightning you're playing, in which case it's NHL season. I'm just going to, I'm just going to say that he's never going to get hurt a single day in his career. That's what I'm going to bet on. Jair said that one unemployed friend doing mock drafts at all hours of the day every day. Yes, correct. That is me. I'm the unemployed one. Yes. Trenton said if Reese manages to fall to five,

do you think the Giants would just trade the pick? Probably, because the demand, I think, would be insane at five. So yeah, they would trade down from five instead of ten. So yes, I do think that. Ty said, let's go. Love this for the Bengals. Get a truly elite player at a position of need, not upset in the slightest.

I truly think that this is a win-win for both teams. I think there's a world where you could tell yourself that it's a win-win for both teams. If it's not a win-win, I think it's simply because the Bengals paid a heavy price to acquire Dexter Lawrence and then also paid Dexter Lawrence, which is a lot in the equation.

But it's an elite player who's, I mean, the best player on their defense now, so it's hard to say that acquiring a guy like that when you have a quarterback, the caliber of Joe Burrow, and you feel like your winning window is always open. It's hard to not love doing that. Snake King said,

the Bengals are a hilarious franchise. Joe Burrow as a ram in two seasons is my own personal hell. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Joe Burrow ain't going anywhere. so I think the Cowboys getting aggressive. That is still there for sure. QJ said, I want my Panthers to get Mackay Lemon or Omar Cooper Jr. I think that is well within the conversation. there. Noah said, been waiting for a month to hop in and say that Safeway in my neighborhood is referred to as the Soviet Safeway due to perpetually barren shells. Wow. Not a show goes by without Safeway catching astray. Leipa says, I can't believe people are spinning this trade as a W for the Giants. You don't trade a top 10 player in the sport. I don't care what you

get in return. Well, I think that this is absolutely a W for the Giants and the fact that people knew that Dexter Lawrence wasn't going to play for them again and they still got a top 10 prick from it. That's the spin. Now, if you want to get mad at the Giants for getting to this point, okay, I think there's some validity there. But for where we were in the situation, they got a top 10 pick out of it and I think

that that's a great move for them. Mr. Pau-Pow said, I vote for Hall 3 knowing that I could never go ban for ban for ban with Peter. That's correct. Nobody wants to go ban for ban for Peter. Bryce did, you know, and it was true Godzilla versus Kong. I mean,

like I just don't feel like that trade's going to happen because it feels like the talent that he is versus what he would get in return in the current environment that he's in. I just don't think that lines up. Dan, the Jets fan, said Jets and Giants should swap two for 16, two and 16 for five and 10.

Would that be? Nah. I'm like, you got me thinking now. Like, would that actually make sense for both sides? But I don't think so. I think the Jets still need that number two. overall pick. But that is very interesting. Vinnie said, hey, Trevor, what's the highest that tripling

for old miss could go? Second round, for sure. I don't know exactly where in the second round. I would say after pick 45, you know, like I think somewhere around pick 50, that feels like it's the highest the stripling can go. But I'm a big fan of tripling. I think he's great, especially as a vertical threat. Ty said, Golda and Pons are my dream picks at number 41. Golda is the perfect fit for what they want at linebacker. And with Pons, you get a better Mike Hilton. Either way, it's a win-win. Well, we drafted Jigga Rodriguez, who's more of the true Mike linebacker.

But if you want Golda, I suppose that you could sub that out for the draft that we did there. But we did do the one with Pons, so made your wish come true there. David, it said double-turned mania. Cody went heel, Randy went face. I'm not following any of that, so I don't know if that spoiled anything. Hopefully it did it didn't. But anybody who's watching, hope you guys are enjoying it. And now that I'm thinking about it, we also have to deal with extra Lawrence now twice in the season with the possibility of no Yawane.

So there's a chance. Okay, now I see what he's saying because now the Giants might take Yawane at number 10, which means the Ravens can't take him at number 14, which means they would be drafting Keny, Sadiq. Tyler says there's another super chat. Oh, I see. Okay, there's one more super chat. Hold on. This is from Spencer. McShay is saying, that the Cardinals would need to trade way up from 34 to get Ty Simpson. How high do you think that Simpson goes?

Is number three for number nine and number 29 from the Chiefs good? I think that 9 and 29 becomes really interesting for the Cardinals because then it would give them a ton of flexibility. They would be able to maybe pick Ty Simpson at nine, although I think that's early, guys. I just, I'm not there with Ty Simpson. I still think he's going to be going in the mid-20s. and if the Pittsburgh Steelers aren't interested in taking him at 21, I just, I don't know. I just, everyone keeps telling me, oh, Ty Simpson is going to go higher.

Ty Simpson is going to go higher. He's going to go higher than you think. Where? Show me exactly where. And specifically show me where the pressure point is coming from. What teams are so desperate other than the Cardinals to go up and get Ty Simpson. So if you want to tell me that the Cardinals are going to get aggressive, Gogh Simpson, and okay, but I just, I think we're getting a little bit carried away with the momentum.

Lou, first one said, can you list, can you give a list of five to ten best three, four defensive end fits? By golly, can I ever, Lou? Because I have three, four defensive ends as a separate category here in my rankings. So I think Zavin Harris from Ole Miss would be a really good three, four defensive end type of a player. He's got the strength, he's got that length to him as well

to be able to play that four-eye spot. If you need them to take up two gaps, or if you want to put him in a situation where he can be an attacking downhill player. I think he can do both of those things for you. I also categorize Caleb Banks as a 3-4 defensive end. I think that is where he is going to be best because he has that length, he has that strength, he has that size to him. So I actually categorize him as a 3-4 defense event.

Ray Sean Benny from Michigan play so strong at the point of attack. I think that he's somebody who could play both. Well, actually, I think he could play as a five-technique defensive end, but three technique and then that 3-4 defensive end role, I think he could do fantastic at. I'm not going to lie. Deni Dennis Sutton to me, I have him as a 3-4 defensive end.

I don't think that he has the consistent juice. I know he's got the athleticism to do it. I just don't see him utilize it nearly as much to be a full-time defensive end. I think he's going to be more of a heavy-handed power defensive end because of his size and strength. But I actually think that he is better with all that length and athleticism

as a 3-4 defensive end. Who's, wait, who's after that? Oh, L.T. Overton would be in this group as well. I think Anthony Lucas from USC's in this group as well. Demonte Capehart from Clemson. Jordan Vandenberg, I think would be a good three, four defensive end. Tyler on Yadam, I think is how you say his last name from Texas A&M. I think he could be a three tech, but I also like him a lot as a three, four defensive end too.

So there you go. Those would be my guys who I think are better three, four defensive end fits. in this class. James gave us a super chat and said, hell yeah, Brothers Bleacher Report is very lucky. Dude, we are so excited. We are so, so excited to partner with them

My only issue with Cooper Jr. is I'd like to have him in the slot a lot. And how much did Rishie play in the slot? You know, and they use Kelsey in the slot, and they use their tight ends a lot in the slot as well. I can see it from an athletics perspective, how you got to that point, but I don't know.

I like Jordan Tyson better. I like Carnell Tate better. I like those two guys more than I would like Omar Cooper Jr. for the Chiefs. Not that it would be a quote unquote bad pick, but yeah. Yeah, Zach, I see. No, do not put, don't put this on the screen. Don't put this on the screen. It's not that bad.

But Zach, I see, Zach gave us the $2 super chat. He was trying to trick me, Tyler. You got to be better than that. Still lost in between. He was trying to get me to say a name that would have sounded like another name. And, you know, I just don't,

Favorite round three running back for my Seattle Seahawks. Let's see. Let's see who would make the most sense for the Seattle Seahawks. I mean, Judarian Price would, but he's not going to make it to that point. Probably Demone Claiborne. But he's smaller than they normal. really like their running backs.

I think Dimon Claymore from the speed perspective. Maybe Nick Singleton, like I wouldn't, I guess this would be a situation that I wouldn't hate Nick Singleton in. I don't love Nick Singleton's vision. So again,

if you're asking him to make quick cuts at the line and really read Polars and power, I'm just not a fan of his vision there. But Adam Randall could also be an interesting one, much later in the draft. Jaden Ott, I think, could be interesting for them as well. So those are a couple of running backs

Is there any real chance that Jade Not has a decent NFL career? Yes, I think so. Now, I have no idea what happened at Oregon at Oklahoma. I don't know.

You go two years ago with him at Cal, he ran for over 1,300 yards. He was awesome. Great balance, good speed, great vision. I think he could run behind zone and man blocking concepts. That year after at Cal, he was dealing with injury. the team wasn't very good. Like it just, it wasn't a good situation. It wasn't good production from him.

And then at Oklahoma, he was hurt during the summer. And then he just never played. They did not put him on the field. And I don't know why. I don't know if something was going on behind the scenes. I don't know if he got hurt again. I have no idea why. But I'm hoping that the NFL is a fresh start for him.

So, yeah, that's kind of what I'm hoping. Because I think he's a really talented runner. And I know Connor did as well because he had him pretty high in his running back rankings when he was coming off of that 1,300-yard season. Stiggs said Trevor, I know you're a huge Marvel fan and play Call of Duty. How about playing some Marvel rivals? I don't play Marvel rivals because I just don't love the Overwatch type of game for me. Like I could watch my friends play it.

Like some of my friends do like the streaming thing and like I'll watch them play it because they're way better at it than I am. But that Overwatch style I'm just not very good at it. It's just not my type of game. But I know a lot of people love it. is Elijah Surat is a first round talent. Mature Rout runner, very underrated game speed, and plays like he is 6 foot 4. I see shades of Carr and Adams

at Fresno State when I watch him throw it to Mendoza. I don't think he's a first round wide receiver, but I think anybody who has watched this show and watch this channel knows how high I am on Elijah Surat. I think that he, I think he is very, very talented.

So, again, like, I don't know about first round, but I think if you drafted at him in the top 40, I'd be like, yep, I get it. That's kind of how I feel about that player. Ben, $5 super chat said, which first round prospect has the highest chance of causing a Shedur-esque Mel Kuiper meltdown by falling?

I mean, it might be Simpson, maybe it's Simpson, but from his mock draft, I wonder if it's Keldrick Falk. Like, I wonder if Falk is the correct answer there, because I think there's a world where Falk could fall. I really do. So that would probably be my answer to that. Seth gave us another one, said NFLLC addicts over Mel Kiper draft pretenders. All right, all right, all right.

We don't have to go too far on that one. Unlike us, he's not about this life and hashtag pound away bros. Mel Khyber's been doing this for a long, long, long, long time. He is absolutely about this life. But we obviously appreciate the praise for NFLSC and the addicts being a part of this. Rufus, $5 super chat. Man, y'all are killing me with the wide receiver to the Eagles. Even if they got Wicks.

even if they got Wix, Smitty, and they loved the Cooper kid, we need Edge and O-Line far more. I don't, I just don't know if Smitty and Wix is enough. And you can say that you like Cooper, but if you like Cooper as like a wide receiver three, wide receiver four, that's different than taking a high-impact guy, especially like Omar Cooper Jr.

If they believe in him that highly, which is sort of the conversation that we tend to have, or Jordan Tyson if he gets there, which it feels like he's not. but you guys understand what I'm saying. If there's a wide receiver that they believe has the caliber of a wide receiver one or two, good compliment with DeVante Smith, then I think that it's absolutely on the table.

But I don't, I'm not disagreeing with you that edge and offensive line should be a priority for them because I do think that that's the case. Andrew, $20 super chat, we appreciate you, Mags. Which legend has done more for their industry? Kuiper for the NFL draft, Barry for Fantasy Football, don't be a coward, make a pick. I mean, I got to go, Barry, because we had him on the show, right? I mean, but like, these are, these dudes are Titans. I mean, they changed the, these two dudes change the entire football industry.

But Barry, I mean, I'll be honest with you guys, we had Matthew Barry on the seven-round mock draft. And it's been really cool to, like, get to know him and, and, you know, call him a friend and an acquaintance. Like, it really has been pretty surreal doing that. I had my old college fantasy football chat and like people in that texting me screenshots of Matthew Barry in that show freaking out, just freaking out that this was even possible in the universe. And so it is very cool. Shout to Barry. I'll pick Barry because, of course, he's been on the show.

So shout out to him. Nicholas, big fan. Just finished my last day of class. Thankful for a shout out. or should Miami go cornerback or pass for shit 30 also could Bain fall to number 11 I think it's a world where Bain could potentially fall to number 11 I because I think they'd play at 43 as well

I'd probably rather go O line at like the dream for me is impact wide receiver or you could go O line 11 or like Ruben Bain if he makes it to 11 offensive line feels like a sweet spot, like offensive line or pass rusher at the back end of the first round, and then corner I like more at 43. Like I think Chris Johnson could be available.

I think DeAngelo Ponds could potentially be available. Like there's guys and I think there's cornerback options that you're going to have at 43. So that's probably the priority that I would have there. But hey, shout out to you. Big shout out for finishing class. Hopefully you finish strong, Nicholas. Let's see. Dark City, O4 said,

Sales team very hard at work. Make sure that we can have that one. When I say the sales team, I mean, me Connor and the chef. Ricky said people who say Grayson Hall and is an undersized for a defensive tackle. Oh, people say Grayson Holden is undersized for a defensive tackle. could he play 3-4 defensive end and move inside on 4-man fronts in Aaron Glenn's defense? I don't hate it. Yeah.

I just, the thing with Grayson Halden, and I think what matters more than saying like alignment of like 3-4 defensive end is you just need to go to a defensive line that is much more of an attacking style defensive line. Like just don't go to a place where it's like, hey, you know, we like our defensive tackles to be able to like two gap and hold the line of scrimmon. and we like for our edge rushers and our linebackers blitzing to be the ones who are free, get the one-on-ones, and get into the backfield. He needs to go to a defensive line that allows all four guys on the front or three guys or whoever it is.

Like, these guys are attacking. Like they're slanting and attacking. They're trying to get through a gap, something like that. So it's less about the alignment for Halden and he just needs to go to the right team. Like Brett Coleman's talked about like Houston or New England. Like those teams really just let their defensive tackles pin their ears back because they do that with all their defensive alignment.

So that's just the kind of scheme that he needs to go with in my opinion. And that could be the case for the Jets, but we haven't quite seen exactly what their new look defense is going to be yet. Brandon said late to the stream, catching up. But going back to the Proctor to the Browns, McShay has been loud linking those two somewhere around one based on what he is hearing. I think schematically it does make sense from what we have talked about of the Browns adding more size and power

to their offensive line. Like Titus Howard, Zion Johnson, and even Elkton Jenkins, along with Tevin Jenkins and DeWan Jones, like these are power downhill, mauling, run game type of offensive line. So that's where the Caden Proctor conversation makes sense. Now it's 12 too early.

I don't know. Andrew, if I hear Trevor type into his keyboard one more time, I will rent a tuxedo for my own wedding. Choose your next actions wisely. Just wait until you hear that I type with only my index fingers next. That'll really get you going. Appreciate the $50 super chat.

I think he's got better explosiveness. I think he's just a better all-around athlete. I think Genti's going to be a good back in this league. But I think Jeremiah loves got more to bring to the table, including from the passing game as well. So yes, I, if you, you, I think in this scenario, okay, you're saying that you have the 1-1. I would not trade the 1-1 for Gentie.

Mike Washington seems to be a big reach in the second. I think that Emmett Johnson is the third running back taken. Thoughts. I don't think that Emmett Johnson is the third running back taken. Now, if you told me that you like him third most in this draft, I think that could be a worthwhile conversation. But I don't think that Emmett Johnson's going to be the third back taken because he just did not test Vell very well athletically.
