What prospect has suffered the most from prospect fatigue?
Ooh, great question.
Almost in tears watching Connor try to not make a six-seven joke to Jeremy Bernard in the NBC interview.
It's a long day.
I might get down on my days around like, you know, six, maybe seven.
So it depends.
How are you feeling about it?
Take seven.
You are so pill to this show.
Dude, I can't exist in everyday society.
Like, I'm not meant to leave the house.
Tripoli gave me red chimmy tree for free because it's ending soon.
It's ending soon?
What prospect has suffered the most from prospect fatigue?
Not specifically this year or specifically offensive tackles.
Out of every prospect you've seen who suffered from it the most.
Oh, man, that's a deep catalog to run back through.
I'm looking at the big board now.
Who has suffered the most?
Yeah, yeah, this year, right?
Well, he said it could be anybody.
He said not specifically this year.
Oh, that's hard.
That's a much bigger one.
Let's just do this year.
Avion Terrell kind of comes to mind.
I feel like I feel like Aviontorel was viewed as a top 20 player
and then all of a sudden people were just like,
I don't know.
Stop talking about him and then now we're getting back to watching his film and he's,
oh, look, chocker, great.
Nobody seems to ever care about Christian Miller.
That's a great one.
I don't know why.
That is a great one.
He's really good and he's going to help someone right away.
That would be my answer.
Yeah.
I think that's, I think that's the best answer from this class.
You never hear about Christian Miller.
No, no, no, no.
And he's, and he's just going to be good.
Yeah, no worries.
He's just going to be good.
That's a great one.
I love that one. Good shout out.
Let's see, who is?
All right, clicking the next one.
Oh, Axel.
Mike Washington Jr. is a fullback name.
He's a fullback size.
He is a fullback size.
I cannot read the rest of,
I don't care that he ran a 433.
Give that man a neck roll.
Oh.
Yeah.
Guys don't wear neck rolls anymore.
They don't.
And even if you're a running back, he should bring back the Brandon Jacobs aesthetic, you know,
just as the bigger running back.
He should just bring that back.
That'd be sweet.
Yeah, you should.
Appreciate you, actual.
Thank you for the $5 super chat.
Nemo Sports.
Suck shrimps?
What is your opinion of drafting an offensive tax?
to play guard versus just drafting someone who played guard in college.
A lot of the buzzwords and quotes you heard today about projections.
And, you know, when I didn't really understand that transition years ago,
I asked someone I know in the league that coaches offensive linemen specifically.
And the best way they put it was like the things you look for,
can they drop their hips and take on power at tackle to play guard?
Because you're going to be asked to do that at guard.
So that's a really, really important one.
that A to B power.
It's so direct.
And Trevor and I talked about the arm length.
It's really just, you need to use your imagination a little bit.
The reality is a lot of guys that programs,
the best offensive linemen have to play tackle.
That's why they might not be an NFL offensive tackle,
but they might have the best ability,
and that's why they get kicked into guard.
Yeah, that's why I'm, I'm, to the spirit of the question,
I don't really worry about drafting,
I don't really worry about drafting tackles to play guard at the
NFL level if we think their body type and skill set lends itself to it.
Right.
I mean, like, we had the, we had the Tiernan conversation where it's like, yeah, that's,
that's one that's a little bit tougher because, okay, does he have the length to play tackle?
No, but he also could really struggle with leverage inside.
So like that one's a tougher one, but I'm not really worried about like experience,
if that's sort of the spirit of kind of why you're asking that question there.
If a guy is really good at tackle and we just think he's going to be a better guard,
I don't really have many reservations with that one.
Donkey draft just with an $8 super chat, so we appreciate it.
Thank you.
Oh, no, actually, Donkey gave us another one.
Well, this one's for $14.
So we're up to 21 or technically 22, close to 22 here.
Can you fellas do a two-round speed run mock draft?
You only get five seconds to pick or the chef auto picks for you.
no deep dives, no explanations, no takes, just picks.
Tyler, let's make it happen.
Obviously, we can't do that this second,
but a speed run mock draft could be some fun short form content at some point.
I like the rules.
Just five seconds.
Just really bad picks, which is fun.
Five seconds or the chef.
I like the idea, donkey.
I'm so indecisive.
You know me.
I can't make a pick unless I list 18 names.
Yeah, this is horrendous.
The chef would just make every pick for me.
So it basically just be the chef.
Mock draft.
What was the show that you had?
Oh, Fear Factor.
Like, most people don't want to be like fed.
Most people don't want to be like fed bugs and stuff on Fear Factor.
For your round two, they would just make you do this.
They would.
Yeah, this would be my fear factor.
No question about it.
They block me in a room.
It's just a computer and the mock draft simulator.
And they'd be like, you have three seconds per pick.
And I'd just start, I'd start crying.
I'd just, that'd be it.
I'd just be mentally done for it.
couldn't handle it.
Emiliano Brito.
Yep.
The bears are going to end up with Crosby and Linderbom.
Good for them, if that's the case.
I would say they end up with one of them.
I could see it.
Crosby, trading for Crosby makes a lot of sense.
I like Linderbomb as well.
Linderbomb, like lip balm?
Yeah, like lip balm.
Like I brought my Linderbomb with me and you pull a lip bomb out of your pocket.
Yeah, yeah.
Nice.
Nicely down Emiliano.
It's going to be tough for the bears to end up with Crosby when the Buccaneers
end up with Crosby, though.
you know it's going to be tough right yeah yeah you're right yeah you forget so many crosbys you forget about that
you forget every time we talk about at uh max crosbie i almost said sidney crosbie uh every time we talk
about max crosbie you always forget that that he's he's already a buccaneer i know i just
i keep drafting for them and i need to write down that pick does not exist queasy with a five
dollar super chat almost in tears watching connor try to not make a six seven joke to jeremy bernard
in the nbc interview i don't remember this but it wouldn't shock me i don't remember that
I had a lot of fun with Jeremy Bernard.
You are so billed to this show.
Dude, I can't exist in everyday society anymore because of this show.
Like, I'm not meant to leave the house.
Amazing.
I don't remember that, but it would not shock me at all.
He's a lot of fun.
He's another one that I think had a really good combine,
and it's just going very, very underrated.
If you have the stones to do the three cone, it stock up for me.
Yeah, yeah, I would agree with you at this point.
I would agree.
Reveal your agility, cowards.
Yeah.
Larry, $5.
Super Chat.
First live show I caught.
Hell yeah, we love to hear it, Larry.
Love the pod.
Wanted to say,
Connor is the Mike Evans of Trevor Sycamas.
I'll take that.
I don't know if I will take that.
I think it's a compliment to both of us.
No, it's a compliment to you.
Well, what Trevor Sykima are you of the Trevor Sycamas?
I mean, I'm better at contest the kitchen.
You're like the Jerry Rice of Trevor Sycamas.
Oh, interesting.
She's calling me old.
Yeah, but the go.
actually you're calling me
the streets say Randy Moss
the streets you say Randy Moss
this podcast would also say Randy Moss
would you pick Randy Moss
yes
okay over over over
yes I like how it drives the old's crazy
but also
Randy is arguably the most physically
gifted specimen at wide receiver
will ever see in our lives
yeah and he was a string bean it doesn't make any sense
at all whatsoever
Randy's my goat Randy's my goat
Jerry Rice is 40 time change
every year. It gets slower every year. It gets slower every year. It's my favorite thing.
They're going to pop up Monroe Freelings 40 time next year next to Jerry Rice's and somehow it's
going to be the same. Same time as Jerry Rice. Dude, by the time my kids are in college,
they're going to be, they're going to see graphics of Jerry Rice running a 5, 4, 640.
And they're like, dad, how did this man do so well in the NFL? Because the 40's not real.
And you'll say to him, that's just the Buccaneer Super.
against him.
Hello, baby.
There it is.
Locked his ass up.
There it is.
Also, Larry, I said,
lastly, why has Jeremy Bernard
become so underrated?
I just think it's because
this is the time of year
when you're gravitating
towards a lot of traits
that are standout traits.
And Jeremy Bernard
isn't necessarily a jump out
at the screen at you
when it comes to measurables
or even some of the traits
that you see,
but it's just a damn good receiver.
I think that's going to continue
at the NFL level.
Arlo, good afternoon, fellas.
Do you think that there's a chance of the bears
go off into tackle at some point considering
Tripillo's injury and if so which won?
Yeah.
Especially getting a second round pick for DJ Moore today.
What a trade.
Which, good Lord,
so much for all that Keon Coleman bullshit.
Oh yeah, we believe in Keon.
No, that was over when the owner said that.
Yeah, we believe, we believe in Keon.
Keon, we think his best football is ahead of them.
Let's overpay the crap out of DJ Moore.
All right.
I could see that.
I mean, Braxton Jones is a free agent, right?
So they're going to need a swing tackle anyway.
Yeah.
So yes, absolutely.
And they're going to prioritize the offensive line.
So yeah, absolutely.
How many picks do they have now?
Hold on.
Well, after the Crosby trade, they'll have none.
All right.
So after the Crosby trade, they'll just have one second rounder, a third round or a fourth
rounder and then two seventh rounders. They don't have a lot of picks anyways, but yes, I do think
that they're going to draft an offensive tackle at some point. Yeah. Oh, who's the next one?
Oh, here we go. Sully, uh, start bench cut chip flavors, salt and vinegar, halapeno,
or barbecue. I have a pretty straightforward answer to this one. It might not be received well,
but okay, I'm going to start salt and vinegar. Yeah, there's only one of two ways to do this.
Okay. You're either starting salt and vinegar or you're cutting salt and
That's right.
It's the, that there's no in between.
Nobody ever goes once in a while.
I like salt vinegar.
Nobody's indifferent about salt and vinegar.
No.
You can't be.
You can't be.
And it's funny, I've gone through two stages of this.
When I was younger, I would never go near a salt vinegar chip.
As an adult, love them.
I still won't.
You still won't.
So, okay, I'm going to bench barbecue.
I know people are not going to like this, but I am going to cut the jalapeno.
It's not going to be received well.
I, uh, no.
Okay.
So I, uh, no.
Okay.
So I, uh, okay.
So I'm the exact opposite.
I'm starting jalapeno. I'm benching barbecue and then I'm cutting salt
vinegar. Yeah. Salt vinegar, I can't do it. Which is weird because I like vinegar
based barbecue, but I can't do salt vinegar chips. What's the, what's the greatest potato chip?
What is the greatest potato chip? I have a pretty straightforward answer on this.
The greatest potato chip is the Frito's honey barbecue twist. The first chip that popped into my mind is
the garden salsa sun chip. Oh my God. The garden sauce.
salsa sunship.
It's goaded.
When Delta passes those around, I stand up on the plane and cloud.
Delta passes those around?
Yeah, yeah, it's like Delta's staple.
Delta always has...
I gotta switch it up.
But the problem is the bag is this big.
Oh, okay.
A squirrel would look at the flight attendant and be like, are you shitting me?
But yeah.
Oh, man.
Yeah, that's the first one.
Good call. Good call.
That's up there.
Soley's yelling at me saying that that's not a potato.
So like a potato chip.
I mean, I get it, but a chip.
I regret saying potato.
Wait.
Man, sun chips.
Sun chips's a great coaching tree.
The Oots potato chips.
The UTZ ones?
Oots, however you say it, I don't know.
Those are like the original or the ripple,
the ripple ones of those are pretty goaded.
those are pretty goaded

is one of the many great combos of life

that's what we're here for
turkey sandwiches potato chips
for my wife it's a hot dog
and potato chips but it's just
that vibe that vibe

nice and a little neuter in the hands
I still
and like pack a sandwich to go places guy.
I'll never stop.
So I used to do that when I was at, when I was at UF,
I would pack my lunches because I lived off campus.
So I would pack my lunches to then like obviously like go on campus for my classes that day.
But what I would do is there was a chick filet on campus.
It's dangerous.
So I would go up to the chick filet and I'd be like,
hey can I get some chick-fil-a-sau and some buffalo sauce?
And they'd be like, yeah, yeah.
So they give me chick-fil-a and buffalo sauce,
and I would dip the turkey sandwich in the chick-fil-a sauce first
and then in the buffalo sauce.
And that would be my, that would be my lunch.
That's a pretty, like, legit move.
Like, you're playing 4D chess while everybody in the food court was on checkers.
Yeah, yeah, 100%.
College will make you do that.
College will make you do things when you're broke that, like,
You got to come up with some stuff.
Oh, brother, I add zero dollars.
Zero, zero dollars.
I was trying to find a way to stay alive.
I still am in some ways.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sheldon, $70.
Is this Canadian?
Yes.
Oh, you bet your ass.
Oh, wow.
Big shout out, Shelton.
Thank you, Shelton.
Thank you, Shelton.
Appreciate it.
Watch live from Northern Alberta's wilderness.
Speaking of pristine places to watch.
the pod my goodness love the pod needed to get uh needed to uh needed to uh get live for the big boys
who's a starting option for the panthers left tackle in the second or third round cheers
fellows keep crushing it we appreciate a showton okay so this range when did the panthers pick
this range is pick 51 okay that's tough so let's let's sort the pf big board for tackles
around that range.
Because I think the big seven that I mentioned are all going to be gone.
Lomu, Freeling, Eonature.
Like, I think a lot of those guys are gone by 51.
Maybe you're preying that Eonature or Lomu get to you.
Yeah, then there's like a gap because then you go to the,
the Bowery tier.
Then I don't think I'd pick one in the second round.
No.
I think you're looking into the third.
He asked in the third, Bowery.
Yeah, Bowery.
I think that'll work.
Cage Casey, I know you're kind of conflicted on that one.
Maybe a little bit later, like Diego Pounds.
Yeah.
Maybe Nolan Rucci as well from Penn State, who we didn't mention.
But I think Rucci's got some really nice game to him.
He's just got super short arms.
Right.
And I think that really affects how he plays.
He really turns into a big, big time, like, leaner.
He's just trying to lean his body because he can't reach guys.
And I feel like it's sort of an issue.
No, it's not sort of an issue.
It is an issue for him.
but yeah, I think those are a couple names there.
Drew Shelton.
Yeah, maybe.
Deeper.
Deeper down the board.
Although I think that Drew Selton to center.
I felt like Drew Selton to center from the moment that I watched him.
Yeah.
Falca's ATL, $5 super chat.
Here it is.
There it is.
My falcons keeping me in misery.
That was the super chat that he wanted us to read.
Oh, I love it.
You see that.
I can't believe.
That was the super chat that they were upset that we didn't get to.
That is the good.
I love you guys.
I was expected like a three-part question.
A philosophical question.
Oh my God.
Like the equation they're trying to figure out through the entire movie of Interstellar.
Holy cow.
That's awesome.
And then the dude dies and they can't even figure it out.
Like that's what I was expecting.
Not my falcons keep me in misery.
That rules.
I might print that super chat out and put it behind me.
Amazing.
It's incredible.
Hey, audio listeners.
I know you guys are more audio than YouTube, but we're making a big push right now and a big campaign to reach 75K subs on YouTube by the time the draft rolls around.
If you have a YouTube account or even if you don't and you would love to support the show by just creating one and subscribing, it would really mean the world to us.
We appreciate you guys.
Thank you so much for listening to the show on audio.
Let's get back to the episode.
$2 super chat
updates the mock simulator
and J-Rod to the bucks
in the second round every time.
Yeah, correct.
Yeah, you better believe it.
You absolutely better believe it.
It's called scheming.
Yeah, Trinidady.
$20 super chat.
We appreciate it, Matt.
Thank you.
Well, if it isn't Trevor
the dirty bubble sycamma,
I don't even,
I don't even know where that came from.
And Connor, anchor arms,
Roger.
See again,
like, how are you getting the compliments?
What do I got to do over?
here.
Well, we don't know what dirty bubble is.
Yeah, it can't be anything good.
It sounds like some SpongeBob shit.
I was going to say, I've thrown a SpongeBob right away.
I know Anchor Arms is.
Yeah, yeah.
Was watching something on the Jess social media page,
and I know they threw away that whiteboard after you used it, Trev.
Yeah, they had me use it last because they know that the hand washing.
It's very up in the air according to you guys, which is fabricated, by the way.
So the dirty bubble challenge from a SpongeBob was hit.
the paddle ball 29 trillion times I think over 29 yeah it's ridiculous I can
was watching something on the jet sales from me eventually oh yeah they're saying
that you don't you would you who'd you recommend for the Jets on that Mackay Lemon
okay yeah yeah I won't know Mark Cooper because I was the last to do it and like
it was like a lot of the you know like Mackay Lemon was gone and stuff and I was like I
will do something we haven't talked about before sure no it's
Smart.
I like it.
Ty, $10 super chat.
We appreciate you.
Kind of a fun fact.
I went to school with Brian Parker
from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Then he left to go to...
St. X.
St. X.
In Sinci.
Also played with Antoine Peak Jr.
The safety for Cincinnati in high school.
Is that supposed to be St. Cross in Sincet?
Or is that St. X?
I don't know Cincinnati well, so I'm not going to pretend.
I work there a lot and I still don't.
But that is a fun fact.
I love that.
Trinidad's back.
Matt's back again.
Question for Connor and Trevor.
If Marvin Harrison Jr.
can be had for a second round pick,
why don't the Jets trade for him with the 44th pick yesterday?
Marv is likely better than any wide receiver that they would get at 44.
Is he?
There's no way the Cardinals would trade Marvin Harris,
Jr. for a second round pick, right?
For 44?
No.
I mean, there's no way that that happens.
I mean, it's the GM that drafted them.
It's not like it's a new regime that's just discarding asses.
sets.
To answer your point, yeah, I would, I would do that.
I would do that.
I just, I just noticed, I just noticed the Niner gang was watching the whole show.
And their picture is Jerry Rice.
And we just dunked on Jerry Rice 10 minutes ago.
Fuck the show.
That's amazing.
That's really good.
Oh, dude.
We're sorry.
Yeah, that was a cool.
That wasn't cool.
Hey, look, Jerry Rice is still a top.
Solid player.
I think he's, I think he's a top 13 receiver of all time.
In today's NFL, he'd be a high end number two.
I'm just kidding.
I'm just kidding.
Jerry Rice is out of this world good.
It's the running bit.
Oh, God.
Shelton, what have we got here?
What is this?
Where would Icky rank in this class as a prospect?
I liked I liked Ikey a lot.
You liked Ikey a little more than I.
There's a world where he'd be my top tackle.
And of course, it sucks for Ikey because it feels like he was kind of hot and cold.
He was struggled for a while, did not live up to his billing at all.
Then he figured it out.
And now he's significantly hurt.
I think pre-draft Ike would probably be O-T-1 in this class.
He would for me.
Pre-draft Ike Eiquana would probably be O-T one in this class.
I really like Fonham.
I want to make that clear.
Like, I think I'm going to be a little higher on him
because people aren't going to want to give him the shot at tackle that we do.
Yeah.
But again, like just remembering how we talked about Icky coming out.
I loved it.
There was not a lot of worry about how he was built for the NFL level.
Christian, $6.70.
For the Super Chat, I see what you're doing there.
What was Caden Proctor's height again?
I think it was somewhere between 6-6 and 6-8.
Somewhere right between that is.
is what I remember.
We appreciate you,
Grisha, thank you.
Jack, what is this?
FIDAR, Super Chap.
Any hesitation with Fano was O-T-1
when he was working at center
at the Combine as well as offensive tackle?
Obviously, we've talked about that a ton.
I think that this is
maybe a little bit less
of an offensive tackle ranking,
and it was more of just an offensive lineman
that we liked the most in this class
because it feels like there's a lot of conversations
with a lot of these guys
to potentially kick inside.
But I still feel pretty good
about who Fano is as an offensive tackle
because of how well he's played over
the last couple of years and just how good of an athlete he is, to be honest with you.
Yeah, I'm with you all the way. Teams just want to see guys do that. Andrew said,
where would Isaiah World Be pre-injury? I think round four. I have never really been in on
No, you haven't. I was super high on him this summer because I thought projecting him like he could
take off. He didn't. He struggled a lot. He got hurt. Without the injury, I'd still believe in the
physical traits where I would take him in the fourth round and develop him. But,
unfortunately the injury just completely knocks that out.
Still lost $5 super chat.
Konichua, gentlemen.
What do you look for in tackle when moving them into center?
Is it superior hair?
Superior hair absolutely helps.
There's no doubt about it.
When I think of somebody moving into center, though,
you've got to have very flexible hips.
You have to be able to really sit down in your stance.
You have to be very balanced.
You have to be able to explode very quickly.
That foot quickness, that explosiveness,
and then that lower body and hip flexibility to be able to get down,
get low,
I think that's really important for being the center.
Yeah, and being smart as hell.
You are the leader of the offensive line, the rock for the quarterback.
It is mentally taxing.
The next one from Jonah, Jonah K-9, Trev as a Gator's fan,
Starb bench cut, free falling.
I won't back down, running down a dream.
I'm a big petty guy, so I will get in on the fun after you on this.
Okay, I'm going to start.
I think I would start for,
fall in. Okay.
Oh man, I think I'd bench running down a dream and then I'd cut won't back down, which sounds
really weird because that's the anthem that they play at the end of the third quarter.
But I think that's probably the ranking of those petty songs for me.
So I have no ties to the Florida aspect of this.
This is clearly as just a fan of rock and roll.
I am starting running down a dream.
Okay.
I mean, so many reasons.
One, I love the song, but two, so many great GTA San Andreas.
Nice, nice, nice, nice.
I am benching I won't back down.
I will cut free fall.
Okay, okay, all right.
Jaywack, $5 super chat.
I love the content guys.
If the Colts lose, Alex Pierce,
I'm going to be livid all off season.
It feels likely, though.
Yeah.
Do you think Ballard should go?
Imagine Pierce signs someone and they fire Ballard.
Like, he doesn't get to do the rest of the free agency.
That would be nuts.
I think he's gone.
And I didn't think that for the long.
longest time. Pierce, you think he's gone? I thought they would, one, I thought they would just tag him if they
couldn't find a deal and they obviously transition tag Daniel Jones. Two, I also was like,
they'll probably cut Pittman and then just give Pierce whatever he wants. Now what's gone on so long
and what you worry about as a fan of the Colts in this spot is, I think Pierce has a good idea
what the open market is going to be for him at this point. It's going to be high. It's going to be high.
We might be looking at 30. I thought it was like 27 for a long.
long time. I think those days are gone. Yeah. Too many people want him. Man. I think Ballard's on his last leg, though. I really do. And that would absolutely not help me. I don't even know anymore because he just keeps, he keeps pulling it off.
Larry, $2 super chat. As a Cardinals of Buckeyes fan, Marvin Harrison Jr. is greater than Jerry Rice. Yeah. Don't tell Niner gang that because they are still in the, they are still in the chat. I still see them. Larry again, with that being said, if Monty Austin Ford trades Marv, I will crash out. Yeah, I don't think that that's happening.
I don't think that's happening.
You don't need to worry about that.
Our game plan of the week, folks,

Hello, draft matchers and combine moggers.
What feature from another league would you take and implement into the NFL, such as arbitration,
relegation, etc.?
The draft lottery idea is obviously, I think the one that makes the most sense that you could implement at the NFL level.
I think that that's more entertainment for the fans than it is practicality, but I do like that one the most.
The relegation, I think that is so much fun.
I'm not that in depth of a overseas Premier League soccer fan.
I watch it.
I grew up playing soccer.
But when it comes to you're the pros and cons of relegation,
I'm not as familiar with the total conversation because to me it's just awesome.
So I think that is a good one.
But the draft lottery one is probably the one that makes the most sense when it comes to an NFL chain.
So we appreciate it these dollars.
Thank you.
Next we have, I think Ian is up next.
Yes, Ian.
$20 super chat.
Thank you, Ian.
We appreciate it.
Off to work for a Monday episode.
Sorry, off work for a Monday episode.
Even better.
Chippoli gave me red chimitri for free because it's ending soon.
It's ending soon?
Did Chipotle ain't too long?
I didn't even know this.
I got to go today.
Finally got my hats for golfing.
Shout out.
Assuming that saying NFLS E hats.
Can't wait to hear the Crosby trade speculation for the Bears pick again.
11 out of 10 days so far.
That does sound like I.
phenomenal day, Ian. Hopefully the mock chapter episode made it even better. Thank you for the super
chat there. Short round. Suf Trevor Brennan Thompson, Sycamma, and Connor Dog Rogers. See, I like
that one because it's complimentary of both of us. I've got world-class speed and Connors an absolute
dog. Starting five video games, but it must be all well-balanced. Example, you couldn't just pick
all sports video games, all Call Duty, etc. I talked about this in the NFLOSC Discord. Destiny
won's my favorite video game of all time. I have so many fun memories with friends. The
depth of the game doing raids, playing PVP, trials of Osiris, the different gears that you could
get, gears, guns, and everything that you could get to customize your character. It's my favorite
game of all times. So Destiny 1 is in there. Final Fantasy 10 is a longer story game,
turn-based style game that I really, really enjoyed. I've played through that one multiple times.
I love the story of it. It's my favorite of those style of games.
those longer story style games.
So Final Fantasy 10's in there.
I think my...
This isn't necessarily the game that I've played the most,
but I do think that my favorite sports video game of all time
is the classic NFL Street.
I just had so much joy playing that game.
The one that I've played the most is probably Madden 04 or 05.
Although some other candidates,
NBA Live 05 was amazing.
2K12 was awesome.
MVP baseball 05 was phenomenal.
I poured so many hours of that,
and I'm not even a baseball fan.
Then you've got like classics like SSX3, the snowboarding game.
If you count the need for speed games like underground,
like Need for Speed Underground and Underground 2 were amazing.
But I think of all of those categories,
Fight Night, oh my gosh, Fight Night was so much fun.
I think Fight Night round four is the one that I played the most,
if I'm remembering correctly.
But all that to say, I think NFL Street, it gave me the most joy.
So I think I'm going to go with NFL Street.
Cold Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the one that I played the most
and the one that I was the best at
I had for a long time I had
I almost had a 2 KD
I think when I when I finally
hung up the controller
on that game I think I was like at a
182 KD so I had a
bunch of friends that I played with that
that was pretty good with that game
and then
man what's one other game
let's go for a nostalgic category
Super Smash Bros. Melee, probably is the first one that comes in my mind.
Sonic Adventure 2, Elite.
Golden Eye also great.
The Zelda Games, Majoras Mask and Ocarina of Time.
But I think Super Smash Bros. Melee is probably my final one there.
But great question.
A trip down memory lane for sure for as many video games as I've played.
10 or $5 Super Chat, we appreciate you.
Happy draft season, season short kings.
Based on what you've seen, who would be a good fit in?
New England at safety. I'll take an uncrustable off the air. Thanks, guys. Um,
why? My question is, is that why are we thinking about safety? Because you got Craig Woodson
and you have Jalen Hawkins. Hawkins are free agent? Maybe he is, but he's coming off a great year.
I love the chemistry that those two guys had. So I would, I would bring back that chemistry
if you can, but outside of that, I mean, really, there's a ton of safeties in this class
do you feel good about. I mean, if you want somebody in the late second round, you're talking about
maybe like A.J. Halsy is a good candidate there.
I think if you're getting further down the draft,
Kamari Ramsey probably could make a lot of sense for them there.
Those are the two that immediately come to my mind
that I think I like the most for the Patriots specifically
because they play a lot of,
you got to be really versatile.
And I think both of those guys are really versatile.
And I don't think the Patriots are going to use
the first round pick on a safety.
But again, I'd try to bring back that safety to a while.
I thought that they were really good this past season.
Trevor, American Patriots, Sykima, and Connor,
Next Level, Rogers.
Shout out to Big Blue Gooney on Twitter for that video there.
Shiva.
What's up, Tater Tots?
Insulting, but I'll take it.
Good to see you, gents, again.
Please save the Texas offensive line.
And then just Sonny Stiles.
I wouldn't doubt Sonny Stiles to be able to play on the offensive line at this point.
And then when it comes to the Texas Offensive Line,
I am still on the train of like you just you're taking an offensive lineman in the first round,
especially after trading Titus Howard.
So I can't remember exactly what the hall was for the Texans on the Monday episode,
but hopefully it was something addressing the offensive line in the first round.
Owen, $5.00 super chap with the chiefs cutting Juan fall start Taylor.
Do you think that the chiefs will target an offensive tackle at nine?
When I've done some mock drafts that I've released since the trade with them thinking about
offensive tackle at number nine, Chiefs fans really push back on that because they talk about
Jalen Moore, who they signed to be able to play tackle.
But his contract is up after this year.
Like he signed a two-year deal with the Chiefs.
So he will be 29 years old this year and he's on the last year of his contract.
So I don't think it's that far-fetched at all for the Kansas City Chiefs to consider
offensive tackle at number nine.
It's not a great offensive tackle class.
So I think that that could go into it.
but if there's a tackle that you love at 9, I think it's on the table.
Ultimately, I don't think they pick an offensive tackle at 9,
but certainly at the top of the second round,
maybe even 29 if there's an offensive tackle that you feel like you really like.
Yeah, I think that that's on the table for them.
Hank for Ty, $2 super chats.
Ty Simpson is QB1 and the future franchise quarterback of my New York Jets.
I would not say that he's QB1, but he may be a New York jet.
We will see. Time will tell.
$20 super chat, we appreciate you.
Thank you.
Sub short stacks.
Did you all happen to hear anything about Caleb Downs medicals?
Heard some scuttle butt around a potential knee issue, getting flagged, but nothing concrete.
Also, Tailing Green, you are Gen Cth, Thrill prior.
Not a bad connection there.
So, Corey Canaan wrote a, like, combine sort of like what I was hearing in Indianapolis piece.
And Corey does a fantastic job covering the draft on draft, the substack that he has there.
And Corey has a lot of people in the league that he talks to on a regular basis.
He is a plugged in dude.
And that was something that he heard, that somebody talked with him,
about and he says he cross-checked it with multiple people. And that's where sort of the
the knee concerns kind of came from. And some people have come out and be like, no, like,
he doesn't have anything that worried us. Now, some of the word, like, verbiage was interesting,
because I feel like some of the reports that were, like, refuting that were, like, it's nothing
that worries us. Like, it wasn't like, oh, there's no issues with Caleb Downs whatsoever. I don't
think that people had said that. It was just like, no, I mean, teams and scouts aren't worried about
his knee. That's not necessarily that like what Kayle, that what Corey was reporting, like, isn't true.
And Corey even says in his article, he's like, look, this is just sort of what I was told,
but it doesn't seem like it's going to affect his stock at all whatsoever. It might have
just been something that was flagged medically where I saw some people on Twitter talking about this.
It might be something that he has to deal with with his knee like later in life. Like, it might not
really, like, affect him in his 20s during his NFL career. So that's, I think that's what this super
chat is referencing here.
Ultimately, Corey even says this himself.
I don't really think that this affects Caleb Downs
and where he's going to go in the draft.
He is still anywhere within the top 12.
I think his range for Caleb Downs.
It was before the combine.
I think that is still the case now.
Andrew, $5 super chap.
I've never seen someone stock fall and rise with measurables
and on-field workouts like Fonos did.
So this is, I think, referencing the fact
that he had shorter arms than Will Campbell
when he measured in,
but then when you saw him on the fifth.
field, he looked like just one of the best offensive linemen out there. We talked about this on the
offensive linemen show, but the way that Spencer Fano moved and the way that, like, Daniel
Jeremiah was talking about him in the broadcast, very reminiscent to how much people love
Troy Faultanu during his job. Now, Falunu had longer arms that brings the tackle projection into his
favor a little bit more, but Fano just feels like one of those guys that, like we said on the Monday
episode, both of us really like him a lot. We would absolutely give him a shot at offensive tackle,
but if not, he is one of those players who he doesn't get necessarily talked about like this too much,
but certainly after the combine, it feels like this is the case.
If he fails at tackle, it's going to be a great guard or center at the NFL level,
a difference-making player at one of those positions.
So I just think he's a really good football player, and I'd want him on my offensive line.
Jay Berg's, $10 super chat, start bench cut, Sir Duncan the Tall,
Brian of Tarth, and the Hound.
Appreciate you boys for all you do.
Man, I wish Connor was here for this one.
I have only seen the first two episodes of Night of the Seven Kingdoms.
So I haven't seen like the hell yeah, fist pump, Sir Duncan the Tall, goaded kind of a thing.
So I would say I would start the hound.
I would bench Brianna Tarth and then I would cut Sir Duncan the Tall.
But of course, the caveat there is that I haven't seen the best moments of Sir Duncan the Tall yet.
So I could be totally wrong on that one.
You guys might be mad.
But I got to get to the rest of the episodes.
They're coming.
really enjoying the show. Jesse, no international hat shipping RIP. So there is no international
hat shipping right now because in order for us to set up the international hat shipping, the shipping
prices were, it was like tough for me to sort of build that into the Shopify platform. However,
the people that I'm working with, some friends that I'm working with who are helping me like
with the hats and distribution and everything said that they can set it up where it is something
that we can do. So whether you're in Canada, because we know,
know we have a lot of addicts that are that are living north of the border in Canada or even
across the pond we know that there's some people in Europe and um all over that really want some
hats we've even had some people from like Australia Brazil want NFLSE hats which we love you guys
so much for they said that they can help me out with that so I am hoping that the next shipment
of hats we get we will have that set up to where you guys can get some NFLSC hats because
we really do appreciate all the support no matter where you are watching or listening from around
the world.
So that could potentially be coming.
Chuba, $2 super chat.
Excellent.
Let's see Goatmire round two selection.
We didn't get Goatmire in there, but that's on us.
That's on us.
That's nothing to fault Goatmeyer.
He should have been in there, but that's on us getting him in on the next episode.
James, $20 super chat.
We appreciate you, James.
I was driving through Foxborough, I think is what this is supposed to be,
and saw a couple Lee old guys building a rack beast for Will.
Cam Billo to make his arm longer.
I think I got the idea of that.
James, that's not on you.
I've been told that sometimes the keyboard for super chats is very wonky.
But what I got from this is that somebody is creating a machine to make Will Campbell's arms longer.
I'm all for it.
I'm all for it because he's a hell of a football player.
We just need the arms a little bit longer.
No, I guess I shouldn't say I'm all for it.
I don't know what the device is.
But Will Campbell's going to be fine.
Will Campbell is going to be fine.
Boready, $10 Super Chat.
My workday is going to fly by Cheers Boys, hashtag Bolt Up.
Well, hopefully the mock draft allowed your workday to fly by
and glad we can help you out there on a Monday.
Bolt up, indeed.
Hopefully we help the chargers out the way that you wanted to there in the mock draft.
Skoll, $5 super chat.
Hey, boys, I'm working at the moment, but have y'all on mute.
I will watch later.
Who are some day two to three fits for Flores' defense?
I like Kyle Lewis.
I also like Kyle Lewis a lot for that defense.
Man, who's a corner that could be really great?
Like a Thaddeus Dixon, maybe somebody in day three,
somebody who could play some off coverage for you that you feel good about.
Avionteau, I think is a perfect fit for them if they want to go on the first round.
I also think Chris Johnson is a perfect fit.
If they get the opportunity to draft Chris Johnson somewhere on day two,
I think he is perfect with how well he likes to play off the line of scrimmage,
keep things in front of them.
He'd be perfect for like a cover three type of a set where you're being a lot more aggressive
in the front and you're asking your corners to play a lot more zone, but he's somebody who's
great in run defense as well. Let me see. Let me refresh my memory with some corners who might be
better specifically for Flores. Chandler Rivers, oh, from Duke, I think he's so smart in how he
plays, especially in off coverage. I think he would be really nice. Trade in Stukes. I know he's
more of a nickel guy, but he's got the size to play safety. He could play in the nickel for you.
I like him as well.
I think that those guys are probably my favorites.
I really do like, I like Chandler Rivers.
I like Aviontorel.
Brandon Cesey and Chris Johnson would be good options on day three.
And then maybe Thaddeus Dixon on day three.
Or sorry, Chris Johnson and who did I say?
Brandon Cesee on day two and Thaddeus Dixon on day three.
Hopefully.
I said that correctly in the end.
Tony Lee, $100.
our super chat. We appreciate you, Tony. Great combine coverage by the both of you guys.
This was for something specifically. I can't remember because Tony had bet us something in the
previous show and said, hey, give me a prediction. And if it hits, I'll donate $100 to the show.
Very clearly, something hit. So I can't remember what it was. Maybe Tony will give us another super chat
here. I cannot remember what it was. But yeah, puffing our chest a little bit. We know.
Appreciate you, Tony. Thank you for everything that you do to support the show.
Ryan, $10 super chat.
We know Trevor created the hat
because he's secretly bald now.
Love the show.
Exact opposite.
Exact opposite here.
Okay.
See the flow?
See the flow starting?
We're growing it out, baby.
We're growing it back out.
The movement has begun.
And my wife hates it.
But you know what?
Sometimes you got to go through changes in life.
That's what it's all about.
Sports debate arena.
$5 super chat.
Hopefully the changes don't piss your wife off.
too much. She'll see the vision. We'll get her on board at some point.
There's a crisp $5 in your future. If you send a message to the Giants to not draft Jeremiah
Love at number five despite some reports that I have seen, half now, half later.
It's $5. We appreciate the sports debate arena. Jeremiah Love is not going to go to the
New York Giants. I think that would be, that would be ridiculous. And I am,
I am confident to say that that is not going to happen. Colin, $2 super chat. Skylar Bell.
That's it. I agree. Tough to disagree.
so I have no choice but to agree.
Benjamin, $10 super chat.
Shout it to the great state of Idaho
for potentially having the top tight end
for two straight years
and shout out for Sadiq saying
that his favorite team was Boise State
to Connor.
I didn't know that his favorite team was Boise State.
Where was Kenny Steak born?
Was it Idaho?
Must be, right?
That's the point of the Super Chat.
Yeah, Idaho falls Idaho.
And his favorite team was Boise State?
And he didn't commit
there. Sad. That's sad. Should have committed to his favorite team.
Would have been unbelievable. Can you imagine an offense that would have had Kenyon, Sadiq,
and Ash and Gentian at one point? Pretty special stuff. Ad, turned out pretty great for
Sadiq. He's doing all right. Appreciate you, Benjamin. Thank you for the super chat. Alia,
$5 super chat. Safety has earned themselves some money at the combine. They are all moving up.
I agree. I think that the safety class and the linebacker class was so as advertised
at the combine. We thought that it was going to be one of the deeper groups in this draft
class and I think athletically, a lot of those players showcased that NFL ability or at least
showcase that NFL athleticism. So if you had questions on those guys when it came to their
athleticism heading into the combine, I think they answered a ton of those questions. Both of those
groups remain really deep for me. We're going to see a lot of linebackers. I think flood
linebackers and safeties flood the from pick 20 to pick 80. I would say we're going to get a ton of
safeties and linebackers in this draft.
And even if you don't need one, it's a great year to pick one for that reason.
Fredo $5 super chat.
Trevor Sykma, you are not beating the Unc allegations.
I saw you wearing readers on the PFF mock draft.
I am blind as a bat without my contacts.
I have contacts in and it, again, it amazes my wife all the time.
Anytime I take my contacts out, like if she is like holding her phone five feet away from me
and showing me something to read, I cannot read it.
I cannot read it.
I would not be able to read
something that is clear as day
10 feet away from me
if I did not have my contacts in.
So yes, the unc allegations are
going to stay for a long, long time
unfortunately because your boy needs contacts
or glasses or he cannot function.
Sup, crustables. Now, okay,
that's fighting words.
That's fighting words right there.
Crustables. That may have crossed the line.
I heard through the great vine that Bengal
was talking smack about your three
sides minimum when getting a barbecue take should get him on the pod to plead his case.
I don't know if he deserves it with an accusation like this. What was he saying? What's there to talk
smack about? The only thing that I can think of is that some people look at the three sides minimum
rule and they go, why don't you just save your money and order more meat? That's fine. You could do
whatever you want. The whole reason the three sides minimum exists is because there's so many.
I've said this all the time. There's so many homegrown recipes that come in the sides when it
barbecue. Barbecue is very much like a, oh, this is a family owned, a family recipe. And no matter
where you go around the country specifically in the southeast, you will see these specific,
unique recipes that a lot of times show up in the sides. Everybody's got, you know, unique great
brisket and pork or smoked turkey or whatever it is recipes. So obviously I'm not saying that
you don't eat the meat. The meat's phenomenal. But a lot of times when you go to barbecue places,
for example, I love baked beans, I love mac and cheese. So when a plate comes with two sides and
cornbread or whatever. The two sides, I'm always going to order my favorite two sides.
And I'm just going to get my favorite two sides. But then to give your, to go by the three sides
minimum rule, it empowers you to maybe look at the menu or look at the food that's in front of you and go,
damn, that potato salad actually looks really good. It looks really unique. Or, you know,
cream corn or something with the greens, like, like coleslaw, whatever it is. And it just empowers
you to maybe try something that looks a little bit, you.
unique for this specific place and maybe you get to try a recipe that you don't get anywhere
else. So that's the point of it. And Bengal can meet me in the octagon to talk about it further
if he would like to. Shout up Bengal. We love Bengal. Make sure you guys are watching all of his
content as well. He's fantastic. Five dollar super chap. Are you guys in Pittsburgh for draft week or
working from your respective offices? I'm flying out from the UK for draft week. I cannot wait.
Mesh, that is awesome. Very excited for you to be in Pittsburgh. I do not think that either of us
will be in Pittsburgh for the draft.
As it stands right now,
we are going to be at our respective offices.
He's going to be at NBC.
I'm going to be at PFF.
And we've got a bunch of draft content
that we do there for those companies.
And so I don't think that we are going to be in Pittsburgh.
We wish.
I think maybe one of these days down the road in our future,
we could do an on-site type of show,
even for the days maybe leading up to the draft.
I think that would be a lot of fun.
Not happening this year,
but I'm very excited for you to go.
Shout it to everybody who's going to make it to Pittsburgh.
I've heard it is a very fun time.
I don't know how much this is.
1,000 huff?
I don't know.
I don't know what this is.
I'm gonna say it's $1,000.
Oh my goodness.
Wester, thank you so much for the thousand super.
Whatever it is.
We appreciate you.
Thank you, Wester.
So up, Cassius Howell Arms.
All right, that's good.
What do you think of a Ty Simpson and Bernard combo for the Jets?
I think that both players are in the wheelhouse of where they want to get better on the roster.
Now, it just depends on do you think the Ty Simpson?
Simpson is good enough of a player where he can trans-ed the timeline if it doesn't really work
that well for the Jets this season, right? Because the worst-case scenario that you could have is burning
number 16 or number 32 overall on Ty Simpson from a short-term aspect. And then if things don't go
according to plan, it feels like it's already a little shaky with the Aaron Glenn era right now.
So are you firing him a year from now? Now you're sitting here with a quarterback with whoever's
going to coach this team next, didn't even draft this guy. You don't really think he's franchise
caliber. Now all offseason, you have to go, yeah, do we draft the quarterback?
we just drafted Ty Simpson. It all kind of just depends on what kind of timeline you have for him
specifically as a player. If he's the type of quarterback that you feel good enough about, yes, we are
drafting him and developing him. It doesn't really matter what happens next year. Sure, you could
draft him. If you don't have that mindset, do not draft him because you've got three first round
picks next year. It is loaded. The quarterback class could be awesome potentially or at least better
than it is this year. But Jeremy Bernard, great wide receiver two next to Garrett Wilson.
There is, I don't think, any debate there about that.
Dominic, $2,
start bench cut,
Breaking Bad, Piki Blinders, Sopranos.
Very glad that Connor's not here for this.
I've never seen The Sopranos.
I have never seen Breaking Bad.
I understand the memes.
Never seen the show.
Kind of waiting for it at this point
because everybody says that Breaking Bad's
the best show of all time.
And I waited to start Game of Thrones
until it was all over with as well,
like all the episodes have released and everything.
I don't know Breaking Bad is,
it's been done for a long time.
long, long time. But I just haven't started. I haven't started breaking bad, but
Peaky Blinders is one of my favorite shows of all time. It's, I think, a masterpiece. The fourth
season of Peaky Blinders, given the first three seasons and the buildup before, the fourth season is
truly one of my favorite seasons in all of television for any show, for any show at all whatsoever.
So love Peaky Blinders, need to start breaking bad. $10, super chat from Sam. I could never
hate on my goats. Much love to y'all. Am I crazy for thinking that Wesley Williams is better than
his Duke counterpart, Vincent Anthony. P.S. Kalin Black is this year's Honda Civic. Love the
Kalin Black Honda Civic. A comparison there. Just somebody who's not flashy but reliable will be a
great running back for you for years and years. I see the comp. I see where you're going with there.
So I have not done Wesley Williams' final report yet for edge rushers. I think Vincent Anthony is
fine. I think he's got a decent first step to him. He's got decent arm length. He likes to win with
that long arm. But if I remember correctly, the arms weren't as long as I thought that they were going
to be. So that's a player that when you actually have the arm-length conversation, you have to talk
about that because if your arms aren't super long and you win consistently with length and with a long-arm move
as your main pass-rush plan, well, are you going to do that as well at the NFL level, even if your
arm length isn't, you know, above the 70th or 80th percentile. I think that's something that you
got to think about. But Wesley Williams, if I remember correctly, had a pretty good combine, so I need
to get to his final report. I can't say for sure whether I like him more than Vince and Anthony. But
Clearly, Sam thinks that that could be the case.
So I need to make sure that I watch him.
Tristan, $2 Super Chat, bought a black hat.
Love you guys.
Thank you, Tristan.
We really, really appreciate it.
We do still have hats available, but I think we only have like three black hats available.
And we've got a handful of white hats available.
So if you're still looking to get an NFLSC hat and you haven't gotten one yet,
you're probably only going to be able to get a white one at this point.
But those are still available.
You can check that out in the Shopify store.
But we appreciate you, Tristan.
and thank you for grabbing a hat and supporting the show.
Seagull, $5 super chat.
It's a diehard pounder.
I would kill to have us trade up and get Sunny Stiles.
The problem is that at this point,
you would have to trade from 19 to like 4 to get Sunny Stiles.
And that's just not going to happen.
I mean, to get from 19 to 4, you'd have to give up this year's first round pick,
next year's first round pick, and then probably something else on top of that.
It's just not going to happen.
Sonny's not going to fall that far.
If he was going to fall to, you know, 12, 13, 14, 14, sure.
trade a little something to get up above
Tampa Bay, specifically at 15, and you can get Sunny Stiles, but
I just, I don't think that Carolina
would give up what they need to give up to make that happen.
Heath's $5 super chap and here and a lot of Jeremiah Love to the Tennessee
Titans talk personally don't like it as a Titans fan.
What are you guys thinking? Yeah, I've heard of this as well.
I think number, all of a sudden, Jeremiah Love is in conversations at three
to the Cardinals, four to the Titans, and seven to the Washington commanders.
All spots that I think have way
more important needs that they need to address before drafting a running back.
I'm going to be honest with you.
All three of those teams have trench needs.
All three of them.
And any time you've got needs in the trenches,
I'm not drafting a running back before I'm fixing the trenches.
Now,
it's hard to say that as a definitive plane,
but man,
that is the rule that I'm going to operate by.
And for the Cardinals, like,
Fano, Maui Noah,
even trading down and still getting an offensive lineman.
Like, I like that a lot better than drafting
than drafting, uh,
Jeremiah Love, especially because you don't even know what's happening
a quarterback, right? I think that that's
a major issue as well for the Cardinals
and their potential draft of
Jeremiah Love. Like, you've got to figure that part out
before you're drafting a running back. That would be crazy
to me. So you got O-line needs, you got quarterback needs.
You got to figure that part out for sure. Titans,
I understand the idea
of wanting to give Cam Ward
a legit running back. I don't hate that one
as much. They're
still in a building phase of their roster,
but at least they have the quarterback that they think that they can
believe in. So don't hate that one as
much. Washington, yeah, they need a running back. They need a dynamic weapon out of the backfield.
There's no doubt. But God, that defense is so bad. And it's old. And so it's hard for me to say,
yeah, go ahead, take the running back there at number seven. I just don't think the rest of the
roster is there for them. But that's my thoughts overall on Jeremiah Love and some new destinations
that we've heard for them. Big Dog, $2 super chat, which is worse? Bain's Arms or Bailey's Bend?
I would tell you that Paley's pen is worse because I'm not really worried about Bain's arms because
he's made a living destroying offensive linemen for the last three years.
Well, that's the case.
And you can say the same about Bailey, but I have more worry about Bailey being that three down
always going to make a difference for you defensive lineman than I do Rubin Bain.
I just feel as though Bain is much more of a translatable football player and what we've seen
over the last couple of years.
So obviously both are great prospects and have the ceiling to be.
really disruptive, but I'm less worried about Bain just as a whole than I am about David Bailey,
as you guys know from my edge rusher rankings. Fargo, $5 super chat. Afternoon, my handsome gents,
if I'm, okay, if L.A. came knocking with 12, 29, 12 and 29 to move up to two,
would that be enough in a draft where no one wants to move up?
So LA would be moving up to number two for
Stiles
Well, they just traded
Actually, this is pointless
because they traded 29 for
They traded 29 for Trent McDuffie
So they don't have that one anymore
But it's an interesting
Thought
Because you could probably think the same thing
With the Chiefs
But the Chiefs don't need to trade
9 and 29
to get up to two. I think the chiefs are pretty okay, just staying at nine and whoever they have
on the board for them at nine, I think they're going to be very happy about. But would 13 and 29
have been enough to get the two? Probably. Yeah. I think that would be enough for the Jets,
especially because there's not like a one singular prospect, unless they love a prospect at number
two and they have a ton of draft picks already, but I do kind of think that that would be enough
for them to move at number two. People are getting yelling me for draft pick value because that always
happens, but whatever. Tony Lee. Oh, here we go. $5 super chat. The bet was for the fastest 40 time,
and you got it for both tight end and wide receiver. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we did. Appreciate you,
Tony. Thank you so much for support in the show the way that you do. Hard pressure, $2 super chat.
If love is off the board for Kansas City, they grab Sadiq at number nine. I don't hate it,
but I don't love it. I feel like there's going to be better picks that they could make.
Like, I think one of the defensive linemen is still going to be on the board. I think the
Ruben Bain's going to be close to that range.
I think Caleb Downs feels like he's still going to be on the board.
Like if Love is off the board, then, okay, Sonny Stiles is gone, David Bailey's gone,
Arvill Reese is gone, probably one of the wide receivers is gone,
maybe one of the offensive linemen is gone.
And you're kind of like running out of picks before they get to number nine,
where you go, okay, somebody's going to be good here that I like over Kenyon Steeke.
So I can see the vision, but I'd still be going with like Downs, Bain, like those guys
if they're available.
Nate, $10 super chap.
Hey, fellas, she just wanted to share that got into a sports administration master's program at the University of Washington.
Hell yeah, Nate, we absolutely love to hear it.
Thank you guys, Andy Axe for helping me discover my passion, all the love.
Nate, it means the world to us that we could have been a little part of something that was motivating you to go after something like that.
I tell people whenever they ask about my journey, I had no idea that I wanted to do this for a living.
I, my dad owned a landscaping business that I thought that I was just going to kind of go to
college, get a business degree and take over, went to college, heated business classes.
I had no idea what I was going to do.
I grew up in a church and grew up very religious.
So I was like, ah, you know, maybe I'll be like a youth pastor.
I really enjoy, you know, like speaking to people and just like getting involved with the church,
but ended up not going with that path either.
I had no, I entered my junior year of college.
I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.
And the reason why I actually took a chance to go after a sports broadcasting degree,
is because a friend of mine and I took a random radio class
because we thought it would be an easy A
and part of that was you have to do a radio show for an hour
twice a week on campus.
And we love sports is one of my best friends
and we just turned into a sports talk radio show.
And I loved it so much I found myself throughout the week
wanting to plan for this show and make it better
and get guests and all this kinds of stuff.
And after the semester I realized that's the most fun
and the most passionate I've been about anything close to a career and what I wanted to do.
And so I decided to go for it from that little radio class was the motivating factor for me
to go after something in my life that I'm so glad that I did.
So Nate, us being a little factor for what could have motivated you to go after something
that you're passionate and that you love, it means the world to us.
So congratulations, my friend, all the best.
And we love to hear a shout it to the addicts who hopefully have been supporting you there as well.
Logan, long time caller, first time listener.
Do you guys think there's a chance that Anthony Hill plays on the edge?
I don't think so.
I don't think he plays physical enough to play on the edge.
I think I like him a lot more in space.
He's more of that sort of overhang, defender, Will linebacker type of a player.
I know he's big enough and he's got some good length,
if I remember correctly, with his arm length to be able to maybe play, you know,
some on the edge in certain situations.
But I don't want him as a full-time edge rusher.
No, I think he is better in space than he is with physicality when it comes to
tackling and contact every single play. I like him more of what he does in space.
Ryan, did the Combine show that Thineman is better than Immanuel McNeil Warren?
I think so. I like Dylan Thieneman more than I like Emmanuel McNeil Warren.
And I think it's been close between those guys for a long time.
I think the hype has really sort of leaned towards Emmanuel McNeil Warren, who I still think
is a good player. Like late first round, early second round, still think he's a good difference
making safety. Made a ton of big plays this past season. Really good football player.
I think Dylan Theanman is different.
I think Dylan Theanman is clearly the second best safety that we have in this class.
Benjamin, $5 super chat.
I want to let you guys know that I've been listening to you guys since the Great Depression,
which then he says in parentheses,
the charges losing by 40 plus of the Raiders under Staley.
That is a long time.
And I'm glad that there is,
I'm glad that things have turned around for you.
I'm glad that the economy has bounced back in the form of having Jim Harbaugh now.
And things aren't as grim as they used to be Benjamin.
I'm happy to report that that's the case for you.
Echo Warrior, $20 super chat.
Guys, just wondering your thoughts on Jack Kelly.
He was apparently a practice linebacker of the week from the Senior Bowl,
and he had a great combine.
Have you watched him yet?
If so, what are your thoughts?
I have not watched him yet, and you are, I think,
the third person who has asked us about Jack Kelly.
So I need to go back, and there's a couple of linebackers that I still need to do full
reports on that people are big fans of.
Jack Kelly is one of them.
So Echo Warrior, we appreciate the Super Chat.
I'm sorry I don't have more detailed thoughts for you,
but hopefully I can give you those in the multi-round mock drafts that we're doing.
Certainly the seven-round marathon charity mock draft,
he's going to get picked and we'll get to talk about him a little bit more there.
But I got to get full eyes on him.
I got to do the full scouting report.
But because you mentioned him here,
he's going to be at the top of my next sort of list of batch of guys that I need to get to.
Jagger, $10 super chap.
We know how much Trevor prioritizes large hands for wide receivers.
With that being said, do you think Jacoby Lane is worth the number,
one overall pick over Mendoza. In all reality, he did have a great combine. I agree.
Jacoby Lane showed me more than I ever expected from him at the combine. The four-yard dash,
the explosive scores, all way better than I expected from him. And unfortunately, that's because
he doesn't play with that sort of athleticism. This is kind of a player where you go,
okay, you've got this extra juice in you, but you are settling too much for contested catch
situations. So it's encouraging to know that he is a little bit better of an athlete than his tape shows,
but ultimately who you are on the football field is king. That's what matters most in evaluations.
And to say that he's got that extra athleticism to him is nice, but he settles for contest to catch
situations so much. So if that's his mentality, you're not even going to get to see that athleticism
out of him. So he's got to change that mindset first to get the most out of a surprising athlete
that we saw from him in Indianapolis. I do think there's.
It's good call out, but I just don't see that on the field with him, and I need to.
$7 super chat says this is for D1, Destiny 1.
We appreciate it.
Salute to the Goat Game.
Bungy.
I hope Marathon is redemption.
That's all I'm going to say.
McFarland, $10 super chat just got out of two back-to-back midterms.
Oh, boy, I needed this.
I'm turning my brain off and only doing mock drafts at least until my next one,
next one meaning.
Well, I was going to say next one meeting midter, but maybe the next one is just the mock draft.
so the mock draft Mattis actually never ends.
Hope that you killed it on the midterms.
Glad that we could give you a little bit of relief after that.
Congratulations on powering through that McFarland.
Herb or herb.
Chever won.
$5 super chap.
Here's some cheddar because Vega isn't the Chargers pick.
I do like him though.
We switched up a little bit.
Can't remember who we pick for the...
We pick Banks for the Chargers?
Pick Fano for the Chargers?
Both those guys would be pretty good choices there.
I think Vega is a legit.
pick for the Chargers, but I do think that Chargers fans, uh, to the point of this Super
chat are getting a little bit of fatigue here, which is seeing Vega-O-Wane constantly as the pick
there for them. So glad that we can switch it up there for you. Uh, Andrew, five-dollar super
chat. You took Sadiq and Matthew Berry all but confirmed that Goddard is gone. Uh, what do you
think of a double dip in rounds three and four with how deep the tight end class is? Don't hate it.
Uh, what's Calcutera a free agent? Maybe he's a free agent. But even, like, if Calcutera's a
free agent, you certainly double dip. This isn't quite like Madden.
where you go, okay, we're losing two veterans,
let's get two rookies and we'll feel good about it.
They will probably much more likely get a depth veteran player
if they're going to try to go after one of the top tight ends in this class.
But it is deep enough to consider double-lipping at the tight-end spot.
I just don't think they're going to want two rookies
that they're leaning on the most at a really important position like tight end.
Ryan, $2 super chat, Omar Cooper Jr. is the Devante Adams of Mike Evans.
Tai Praise there.
I don't know if he's that.
Good. However, Devante Adams' connection might mean a lot if he somehow ends up a member of
the Los Angeles Rams. So she looks more unlikely now with them trading number 29. But hey,
I still like the vision. If it could happen, it would be fun.
129, is this Czechoslovakian currency? Could be. Don't know. 129, though, that's a big number.
We appreciate you. Grimm. Thank you. Bills will sign a free agent linebacker 100%. And Bernard,
might be bad, but he is greatly paid.
So I think Howell, howl as the pick potentially,
as I don't see Rousseau as an outside linebacker,
but more of a defense event.
Okay, I see what they're going with here.
So Bill's moving more towards an odd front of three, four.
So you're talking about does, you know, this is interesting
because I also don't think that D.M. Walker can play nose for you full time.
He's huge, but he loses leverage battles so easily,
of how big that he is. I actually don't think that you can play him at
nose. I think you're going to want to have him lose a little bit of weight. And if you have
him at one D.N. spot, you've got Rousseau at another D.N. spot. You got
Landon Jackson that you're thinking about there as well. T.J. Parker, or T.J. Sanders,
aka Bull Rush Maggatire, he could play as a four-eye. You do probably have some outside
linebacker needs at that point. So perhaps an outside linebacker type like Hal does make sense
for them. I don't hate where your brain is going with there. But we appreciate the
super chat regardless. Jay, $5 super chat with Marcus Whitman, or Marcus Whitman had Omar Cooper Jr.
This is his wide receiver 2 pre-combine, by the way. Just curious, where do you guys have him
ranked post-combine? Yeah, shout out to Marcus, who is very in on Omar Cooper Jr.
And obviously, Omar Cooper Jr. had a great combine. Shout out to Marcus and the,
that franchise guy YouTube channel. You guys should be following that if you are not already.
I would not have him wide receiver 2. I would have him in that second tier of wide receivers, though.
him very much like Mackay Lemon, Jordan Tyson, Carnell Tate, like those are my top three guys,
those are my tier one wide receivers. But then I do think that Omar Cooper Jr. might be the
first of that next tier. Like it might be like Omar Cooper Jr. is next because I also heard
Connor talking about, I think Connor talked to Gangella Ponds and he was mentioning how
difficult it is to go up against Omar Cooper Jr. and just all the releases that he has, how smart
he is. And when you pair that with athleticism, I mean, there's a lot to like about him as a wide
receiver. Ray, uh, please take Proctor to play tackle. Not sure for which team this was for, but I, we do.
We said on the offensive tackle episode that we like the idea of Proctor playing offensive
tackle. And if not, I think he's going to be a really good guard. There's a lot of guys in that
class, but, uh, there's a lot of guys in that class, this class that could have that definition.
But I think that Proctor is somebody who could still win a tackle. Uh, die five dollars.
Super Chat. Went to school with Xavier
Wonkpa and Caden Proctor was curious
on whether you see Xavier getting drafted or what round
do you think. I think it's much later in the draft, round
six or seven, if he's getting drafted at all. I just
didn't feel like he was an instinctual enough player
over the last couple of years. How's some good athleticism?
It's a good pop of contact, but especially
in those free safety roles, I didn't
love the instincts. I felt like he was too late.
He was playing too far back. Just didn't
make an impact on the ball the way that I wanted him to.
So if anything, probably a late round draft
pick, but maybe a UDFA player.
That's sort of where I view him right now.
To our Super Chat, where would Ersary be amongst this year's offensive tackles?
This is a really good question.
I would like Spencer Fano, Blake Miller, Francis Maui Noah,
Caden Proctor, Caleb Lomu, Maxianicure, and Monroe Freeling more than I liked Arionte Ariririsory.
I think he'd be like eight for me.
And he was encouraging this past year.
I just don't want to be too like, I don't want to hindsight with it.
Like I'm thinking about who Arionte Aririsory was as a prospect.
He'd probably be eight for me.
Because I was a little lower on Arionte Aririsery.
did I have him. Yeah, he was 69th overall for me, nice, last year.
And that, like, even the similar range, like, 50s, 60s, even.
That's probably eight behind those other offensive tackles. So that would probably be
my answer there. Grant, $5 Super Chat. Plan for O'Wane at 17.
Lions have both guard spots figured out. It's starting caliber center or
tackle for the future of that offensive line need, RIP Nuckles. So when you say that they've
got tackle figured out, if I remember correctly, that's counting Tate Rattlidge, right?
Like some people who say that they have guard figured out, like, I fully believe they're
flexible to play Tate Rattlidge at center, unless I miss something about Detroit, maybe
Brad Holmes or Dan Campbell said this at the Combine, but I think Tate Rattlidge could
absolutely play at center.
That's why like Vega could potentially make sense for them, because even though they traded
for Juke Ruggs, I mean, Juke Scruggs was not super reliable last year for Houston in an offensive
of line that really needed super like any sort of reliability there. So I think a world exists where
you're kicking ratlage into center and you could be drafting a guard there. Sam, $5 super chat.
Treb bringing up Banks three times just to follow it up with this guy is just a little better
football player than Banks. A beautiful all-time hate watch. That sounds like me, unfortunately.
Sam, thank you for this super chat. That sounds like me.
$20 super chat from David. I am French.
And the Louvre Museum has an entire hall dedicated to gigantic paintings.
The coronation of Napoleon and so on.
Never disrespect the Louvre ever again.
The Mona Lisa is a small ass painting, though.
You are right.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
No disrespect for the Louvre.
The Louvre is a wonderful place.
I have been myself.
It is, the Louvre is truly an intimidating place, like in the best way.
You walk in and it is corridor and hallway one after the other.
Just unbelievable collection of pieces of work and artifacts and art and
sculptures and just everything that just takes you back in history to so many different time periods and cultures and everything.
I love the loop.
It was wonderful, especially on a day where it was hot as hell in Paris and that was the only place that had air conditioning.
So we love the Lou for a lot of reasons.
I love the Lou.
Demodalace is extremely overrated.
It is. It is. Got to say it.
We appreciate you for listening all the way over in France.
We appreciate you. Thank you so much.
Chub, a $2,2, Super Chat.
Got hopes up that J-Rod to the Bears in the second round.
Now a pipe dream. I also think that that's probably a pipe dream.
Although early second round, that could absolutely be there for Jacob Rodriguez.
He's not a first round lock.
Francis, $2 Super Chat.
Conorloon, the second round for the Chargers.
Could be. Although, actually, no, they just signed Tyler Beaudish.
So, no, not anymore.
That was of this morning.
I'm recording this on a Friday morning.
so not anymore, but I did like the thought process before the time of Biotta signing.
So I do see where we got that from.
Maddie, for 10-0 super chat, get up is funnier than I've been.
It should be talking about Aaron Glenn.
Glad it can make you laugh and hopefully it did wake Aaron Glenn up a little bit.
We needed to make sure that he's watching these players.
Marcus, $20 super chat.
Jags fan, the staff is high on Ransaw still,
interior defensive line with passers upside or Derek Moore, in my opinion,
there for the Jags in the second round.
It felt like when they drafted Ransaw, they were pretty high on him.
So I could see him mixing into that safety equation there for them.
So I think it's a good shout out by you.
Potentially interior defensive line and potentially edge rusher as well as a rotational player.
I could see those both being options for them.
We appreciate you, Marcus, for that super chat there.
Doza, $2.
Genesis Smith, that is all.
I like Genesis Smith in the same category that I would have said like Kaelin Bollick would be in,
where these guys are really good athletes.
really great coverage players can cover a lot of ground on the back end.
They hate tackling.
And that's a really, really tough sell.
I think that Kaelin Bullock landed in the best spot possible
because the rest of that Texan's defense is so damn physical
that he really just gets to operate in space as much as he wants.
And they don't really need a lot from him when it comes to run defensive physicality.
But Genesis Smith, I am worried about the physical parts of his game.
Really good athlete, but does he want to hit?
I think that's a big question mark for him.
Short round, $2 super chat.
To honor big citrus,
uh,
orange juice with or without pulp.
Oh, that's the question there.
Orange juice with or without pulp.
Uh, without.
I can't do pulp.
Can't do it.
Can't, cannot do it.
Some people tell me to grow up and I'll tell them grow up.
I'll tell them to grow up from growing up.
Can't do it.
Without pulp is, is the superior way.
If I'm drinking orange juice with pulp, just give me an orange.
Bryce, $5 super chat.
Watch the first 30 minutes of the pod.
Uh, had an hour and a half of work calls.
Check back.
You guys still have eight.
picks left. We love to see it. Welcome back, Bryce. We appreciate you getting back in on the show.
Hopefully the work calls all went well. Tom, $5 super chat. Finally caught a live stream. Just wanted to say thank you.
This is my favorite draft pod and you guys do great work. Go Jets. We appreciate it. Tom.
Thank you for the super chat. We're sorry. We're late to reading it and we didn't read it on the Monday show.
But glad you were able to catch a live. There are a lot of fun. Hopefully you had a lot of fun on those.
And we enjoy doing that. We enjoy U.S. being a big part of that as well.
There we go, folks. That's it. We ran through all of them. Appreciate all of the super chats that.
again. Appreciate the patience of us reading them later in the week. Hopefully the weight was worth it
for you guys. Hopefully you enjoyed the mock draft as well. We'll see you guys next time.
