Welcome to the opening bell of the NFL stock exchange podcast Trevor Sikama,
Connor Rogers here with you guys for the part two of our mock draft episode that
we had earlier this week, we went through two rounds of a post combine mock draft
and we're extending it here.
We are going to complete the third round to give you a three round post combine
mock draft, but this episode is a little bit different.
So even though that is what we're going to do,
it's the format and the structure that we're going to follow here on this show.
It is going to be some larger conversations because you guys have heard all about
the first round guys. You guys have heard even all about the top 50 guys.
We want to give you some legitimate round three targets for every single NFL
team. So all but three teams are represented here in this third round of this
draft, but don't worry. Falcon's fans, Titans fans, Bill's fans.
We got you at the end of the episode. We'll still give you some targets for,
you know, if you pop back up into the third round, do you make a move here or there?
Maybe trade back in the first round, something like that.
If you end up with a third round pick at all whatsoever, we're still going to talk
about some targets for you, Connor.
How you doing my friend?
I'm good, man.
This is going to be fun because like you said, a little bit more of an open ended
conversation because I know a lot of you addicts out there that have been with us
since the summer, you know all about these guys, but there is a large part of our audience that might be seasonal
or new that they don't know anything about any of these guys.
So this is just a really good time to talk about a different tier of the draft that doesn't
really get much of a spotlight on most networks unless you are in the weeds on the internet
or you're just watching all day on the actual draft.
And I think Trevor, this is something that you and I do best.
It's something we truly love about the draft.
Yep, yep.
This is where we feel like, you know,
our talents and our obsession for the NFL draft
is probably the better way to say it.
Talent I use very lightly, maybe just obsession.
Sicko mentality actually shines the most here.
Yeah, mental illness is where you're trying to go.
Mental illness is probably actually the best way to do it.
So let's kick it off.
Obviously I wanna have a lot of conversations
here on this show, so let's get to as many
as we possibly can here.
We'll stay with the same format.
You kicked us off on the first episode
and you had the odds and I had the even.
So, well again, we'll stick with that structure as we go through it like this, but feel free to sort of review the former picks that
we had in the previous episode and then let's talk about what could be some options here. So,
Connor, just so everybody knows this, he normally has the PFF mock draft simulator pulled up.
This time he didn't because we didn't save the previous mock draft, so it's just the one that
he's looking out on the screen. So he's going to be,
he's going to be the center of the quarterback, the Mike linebacker.
He's going to be calling things out for me and let's hope that I can,
I can adjust to it on the fly, but you're up with the giants, buddy.
That's why that your picks tab is gorgeous. Look how easy that was.
It's love. Like it looks amazing. Obviously, uh,
if you listen to the first episode and I'll try not to do too much of this rehashing
because I want to just go back and listen to it.
But the assumption, the Giants get a veteran quarterback.
They take Travis Hunter at three if they don't move up.
We haven't been doing trades yet.
Trevor, you this is a predictive mock.
So it makes sense, you know, in this scenario with a veteran on the roster.
Hey, we got Jackson Dart at 34 to develop.
Thank you for saving me there saying it was a predictive mock. Yeah, you are not doing Hey, we got Jackson Dart at 34 to develop. Thank you for saving me there saying that it was a predictive mock.
Yeah, you are not doing like, ah, Jackson Dart at 34. I got the steal the draft.
And then pick 65. Now this is a team that still has a lot of needs. We're going to see what they do
in free agency. I think they could use help up front. They can use now Travis Hunter is kind
of interesting because he does legitimately potentially solve two needs for them.
They need another playmaker at wide receiver.
They need they need a shutdown corner.
So that makes life a lot easier.
I kind of liked at the top of the board there.
Shamar Turner is right there.
Kind of help them at D Tackle.
Yeah. Somebody to play next to Dex.
Yeah. Somebody that I think can even play inside and outside,
which is exciting to me.
So Shamar Turner would help their pass rush, bring some athleticism to the D line. That's a name that I really like at 65. And I think that's his sweet spot in this draft is that
50, 55th to about 80th is what I would call his range.
Yeah. Yeah. No, I like Shamar Turner as well. And
I was talking about Ed Valentine, who I was talking to him at the combine who does a good job covering the Giants for the SB Nation blog there. He was reminding me like they haven't really
done a lot of interior defensive line over the years outside of Dexter Lawrence. Like they've
done a lot of stuff with edge rushers. Obviously they draft give on Tibbido. They've got Aziz
Ojalary. They trade for Brian Burns. But that interior defensive line is something there.
They could absolutely dip into that.
If they hadn't had a corner yet, it gets a little scarce here.
Yeah.
But you would hope a Darien Porter might be available.
Man, what was the last corner that we had go off the board?
Yeah, Darien Porter.
It was.
It was the Panthers at 58.
So you're kind of hoping him, maybe Atreamos.
I don't think Maxwell Hairston's getting to this point anymore.
No.
You know, Dorian Strong I think is a good player.
I think so too.
Top of the third round, maybe. But these are sort of the names that we're talking about here for the Giants.
But I do like the target of interior defensive line here at the top of the third round.
So I do like the Chamars Turner pick.
So that puts me... Wait, I didn't mean to cut you off. defensive line here at the top of the third round. So I do like the Schumar turner pick.
So that puts me wait. I didn't mean to cut you off.
No, I was just saying she's a 66 for you because of the
Legerrius need trade by the way is why they're sitting here.
Yes.
Yes.
You look at these picks here.
We took Josh Connerly jr.
In the first round for them play offensive tackle for him.
Maybe kick Kingsley Sula Mataia inside.
I think so especially with Joe Tooney now.
That's my logic with that trade.
Right, so Alfred Collins is who I pick for them
in the second round.
Now they have two third round picks,
so we'll get to revisit them again.
Linebacker, I don't know if there's a linebacker
that made it.
This is probably where you start to have that conversation.
I guess I like Jeffrey Bassa from Oregon.
I don't know if they take-
Nick Bolton's a free agent, which is really interesting.
Maybe they would.
Yeah, I don't love this board for them,
specifically at linebacker.
95, I feel like if they're going linebacker,
they might go on at 95.
I would agree.
It's at 66.
Who the hell, yeah, Alfred Collins a little bit earlier,? So alright, let's get off a linebacker. I
Think running back to be a sneak need for them, right? Yeah, but I mean when I say a Pacheco came back from injury
It wasn't pretty understandably a significant injury. Mmm, you know, how many times are you gonna press the Kareem hunt button in one era?
No way. Oh man. This this fit in this offense is just your boy the fact you could also motion them out and
The man Henderson in this offense is just silly. Yeah, silly. Yeah, I like trade
I like trade on Henderson here, especially if he is available
I don't even know if he makes it to the third round if I'm gonna be completely honest with you
I don't think so
But I like when we do this exercise because it like kills all those responses like they'll never be there
Well, we did every picture
We got 64 picks that we logically do kind of agree with and we worked through in the last episode
So he made it here. I'm gonna go with with Trevion Henderson for the Chiefs of 66.
They have Carson Steele.
They have Isaiah Pacheco.
They got those powerbacks, but they need some speed back there.
And Henderson's a really good one to get.
So I'll draft him at 66, which puts the Cleveland Browns up at number 67.
They took Cam Ward at number two.
I took Cam Ward at number two.
And then you took Omarion Hampton for them at the top of the second round.
Yeah, so new offense, new looking offense of the rounds, which is really, really exciting.
This offensive line aged quickly.
Yeah.
And it gets it gets older quick to next year.
Yeah.
I mean, do we even know if Joel Batonio is going to play?
I don't I haven't checked if he's okay.
So he OK.
Actually, literally yesterday said he'll be back now.
OK.
So he'll be back.
But for a year.
Right.
Right.
You're never what offensive line you're never you're trying not
to draft in a one year window.
I like Chepilla Chepilla butiella, but Wizard of Oz, the
way Ozzie's Boneyard, crazy train, crazy train himself.
Yeah.
Crazy train is, is, is the Oz man true right tackle.
Now I would think they're hoping Jack Conklin can be healthy and ready to go for
them this year, unless he is going to get cut.
I read I read they might have to cut him just to make a Miles Garrett trade
if they're making a mouse. Oh, man.
Yes. He could be a cap casualty. You know,
he could very well be a cap casualty.
It looks like if they cut him now, it would save 11 million.
So you could really do whatever you want on the offer.
You can make any argument you want on the offensive line for this
team I
Like Wyatt Milam at guard for them a lot too in the future. I still think
He has tackle flexibility to an extent like I know he's just been totally written off
Yeah, I wouldn't want him to start at tackle, you know for ten years for me
But say we had an injury and we're like like hey can Milam get us through a game?
At tackle I think he can't if you parked the tight end next to him to help a little bit
I know he he told me he's been training a lot at guard which is new to him
Which is no surprise. I know he's training with Duke as well, so he's in a really really good program. Yeah, that's good I
Think I like Milam in this spot. I think he can be a starter for you at guard, whether that's now
or down the road. And I think he gives you an emergency tackle.
Yeah, because the Browns I'm looking up next year as well.
Jedrick will is a free agent this year. Jack Conklin could
potentially be a cap casualty and then in 2026
Both Joel, Botonio and Wyatt Teller are shoot and Ethan postick are all up. Oh man
Yeah, so they're there
They should draft probably two offensive linemen in this draft. I mean, obviously I'd love to get them a legit tackle here and
If they cut Conklin before the show, I would have taken
Chepillo, but I think it's kind of a coin flip in that spot
with Mylam.
I feel like I'm helping myself down the road.
Yep.
Chepillo would be a for now pick if they were cutting guys,
but so you could flip a coin in that spot.
I'll go with Mylam who I really like and Stefanski's outside
zone approach with Mylam is just dynamite.
I mean you have now Cam Ward, Amarion Hampton, and you had Milam to their run game as a blocker.
The Brown, like these are the right ingredients for Stefanski in my opinion.
Where else do they pick? They pick a little bit later.
94. That's exciting. I'm wondering if another player gets to them
Along those same lines of calling out the offensive line and we might be able to double dip
But we'll see. I hope so. I don't want to I don't want to spoil the pick here Las Vegas Raiders up at 68
Tagash and Genti for them at number 6 Malachi starts for them at 37. Oh, buddy. I mean
Getting like two guys that could legitimately
be all pro players in the same draft.
I think if you don't go corner at either of those spots,
corner becomes the big need for you.
Wide receiver is too, so we'll look at wide receiver
in a second, but I don't mind Dorian Strong.
I think he could be a potential starter for you.
Now is he a CB one for you?
Probably not, but you're also drafting one of these guys in the third round.
So you're probably not going to get a CB one.
They do have a pick in what is this?
Five picks, six picks.
Oh man.
The Vaughte Adams trade.
That's yes.
Yeah.
Very true.
Wide receiver. They got a lot of different options.
I mean, I think they do, but a couple of them are like Xavier Reshubo and Jalen Oll are
slot guys. It's a lot of where Brock Bauer is going to line up.
It's a good point. I think Jalen Oll has more flexibility in the outside.
I agree because he could just run right over the top of people. Yeah. He's explosive.
I like Jalen Royals as well. You know what? I think I might roll the dice here if I'm them.
And if they really like one of these corners that's left as or a safety that might be left, we got Sebastian Castro. We got Kevin Winston Jr.
Macuba is there.
Yeah, we obviously we pick Malachi Starks already. So he's, I guess that hybrid player there for you. I'm actually going to go with Dorian Strong, who I think is sort of underrated in this class.
Yeah. I'm going to pick him at 68 and then I'm going to see which wide receivers
get back to me at 73.
That's, that's probably the, I feel like the best way to navigate this.
So I'll go Dorian Strong from Virginia Tech who got really good footwork.
We talked about him in the cornerback episode, really good footwork, a quick
player, a dude who could do a lot for you as an off-zone coverage corner.
So love his instincts.
Wish he played with a little bit more power
He's only a buck eighty buck eighty five in weight
So I wish he was a little bit bigger
But in terms of his quickness and what he could bring as an off-zone coverage cover three quarters type of a corner
I do like getting him in his talent here in a third round
So you're up with the Patriots at 69 who took Ted at four and then Derek Harmon at 38. What a haul
Yeah, this is this one's actually pretty easy for me too.
I'm going to take crazy train here.
Ozzy, Trapello.
Okay, they need a real tackle.
This would allow them to play Mike on when you at right guard.
Start your pillow at right tackle and continue to work on this
offensive line that is just not good.
Like it's it's and free agency.
Let's see if they could do some damage.
I would imagine they're a team that could be in play to trade for DK Metcalf.
But the off you really got to draft and develop your own offensive lineman.
You just do totally.
And this is a pick that I think is a really good fit for them. OK.
All right. So we're going Ozzy here at 69.
They also have a pick in eight picks. So when you when you so easily just
glossed over cam scat about and a lot of the other running backs that are there for a team
that desperately needs a really good running back. I was like, Whoa, hold on here. But
then I get one in eight picks. We can still get one. So it's funny. I scat about reminds
me so much. Our mantra Stevenson. That would have been a funny pick.
Nothing wrong with it.
But no, like a much was good player.
He just got hurt a lot.
I think he's better than Armandre, but I do see the archetype that you were saying.
Yeah, I do agree with that.
Jags up at 70.
So we had Mason Graham at five, Grey Zable at 36.
They've got two picks here in the third round that we'll get to discuss.
Damn, this is a hell of a haul for them.
I like this already.
Talk about battles.
So Mitch Morse today retired.
Brandon Sheriff's a free agent.
So Gray Zable has taken one of those spots
Christian Kirk either they released or they're going to release
Our strepos right here, man. Yeah
Let me make sure that I'm not forgetting anybody along their depth chart But well, I think the the kid from Penn State played pretty well when given an opportunity look
Brother. Yeah, come on.
This is the number one Parker Washington fan club member.
You're the biggest Parker Washington fan I've ever come across.
I was going to say, but I just erased him.
I don't know.
How much of a chance he's going to get with his new coaching staff.
I am I am currently doing a podcast with Trevor's Innie.
They forgot Parker Washington.
Yeah, like your your Audi would be like,
how could how could this happen?
Oh, it's true.
No, you're right though.
I mean, there's nothing wrong with stacking the room
with more wide receiver talent.
I'm looking at I'm just looking at the overall board.
I get the top of the board for people who are audio only.
We've got Prince Lee umon me Ellen camp scataboos a verus trepo jack Sawyer Elijah Arroyo Jared Ivy
Omar Norman lot Dylan Sampson Caleb Johnson are still here
by the way, if you're if you're just audio only on this pot of all pods you you're
You're a wild horse. That's tough. It's tough. We love you. We really love you
You're probably driving or working out so I get it's tough. We love you, we really do. We love you, you're probably driving
or working out, so I get it, but.
Yeah.
You probably just wanna hear the names.
You guys should come on over to the YouTube channel,
create an account, subscribe to the show.
By the way, if you're watching the show
and you're not subscribed, please subscribe to the show.
Yeah, don't make me say it.
Josh Norris would call you a loser if you're not.
He would literally say you're a loser.
It's harsh, but it's his words.
What about Tate Ratledge?
He is a hell of a player.
Dude, he had a crazy RAS athleticism score.
And he's played so much for Georgia.
I really like a RAS athleticism score.
Yeah, relative athletic score, athletic score.
I wasn't letting that one go.
Yeah.
What are you just calling me, a dumbass straight to my face?
It was good. That is something I would do. That's why I thought it was funny.
I actually love the double down here. I'm gonna go take your outage.
Again, Mitch Morris being gone,
maybe they were operating under that understanding
the whole time, but Jacksonville having anybody
like waiting in the wings on the offensive line?
I don't think so.
No.
Javon Foster who, good, and Missouri, fine, you know,
but offensive tackle type of player.
They still have Ezra Cleveland, They've got Luke Fortner.
Dude, I'm drafting Tate Ratledge. I love this situation because I could ask Zable to snap.
That's what I'm saying. This is like, this is my dream. If I got a really good guard prospect and Tate Ratledge and I got Zable and now Zable, I know Zable could come in and snap. I'm not,
I don't, I'm not high on Fortner as a starter at all.
So this is to me, like, wow, my line looks a lot better.
You really could get two starters along the interior offensive line with this group.
And Ratledge, like I said, played a lot of football for George over
the last couple of years, wins with power while still being pretty athletic
and a smooth mover and he's got a mullet.
He's got an elite mullet.
Should have just, we should just lead with that and stay with that.
New Orleans Saints on at number 71.
Took Tyler Warren at nine, Darius Alexander forty.
It's an elite hall.
Don't blow. This is a good looking, good looking draft right now.
Oh, man. You can go princely.
It's an interesting one.
Good. I very well could. I actually have a different idea. You gonna go princely? It's an interesting one. Could.
I very well could. I actually
Have a different idea. Okay
Let's hear it. Can I see the wide receivers? You may. You'd be so kind. Show me wide receivers
I'm gonna take Jalen Noll. Okay. Here This is a team where you had a lot of head injuries for Chris Alave last year and you know
Hopefully those are behind him.
Rashid Shahid with a brutal season ending injury.
I need somebody that can stretch the field
in that I need some speed and explosiveness in this offense.
And. He pairs well enough
with the lab a while you're waiting on Shahid.
I think Nol's just a really, really good player.
This is more of a value pick, but there is also a need here, especially if they lose
Jawan Johnson and for agency.
Like that's a lot of targets to go around in a different position, but still more targets
to go around.
Yeah.
Percentiles for this are for wide receivers that had 50 or more targets in college football
this past season.
But you mentioned the deep passing ability or receiving ability I should say we're again if you're audio only we're looking at these stats here in the MDS from PFF 14 deep
catches that's tied for 10th and then um deep yards 609 that's tied for fourth or actually that's
just straight up fourth so he'll give you that ability ball Ball player. Jalen Noll. I like Jalen Noll.
No one likes him on the Saints.
Ooh, Tyler Warren, Jalen Noll.
Some juice.
Chicago Bears up at number 72.
So far we've given them Will Campbell, Mike L Williams and Queen Sean Judkins.
I know Bears fans were jumping for joy at Mike L Williams being there at 39.
He's probably not there at 39.
Sorry guys, but maybe again, we went through a scenario where he was. So they have added two
offensive tackles or sorry, two offensive linemen in Jonah Jackson and Joe Tooney.
Drafting Will Campbell, in my opinion, would complete that offensive line. Now give you a
really great starting five going into next season.
Man, I feel like we hit the biggest needs here.
Yeah, Bears fans love this draft, so thank you.
It's always it's like almost jarring when you get so many compliments about one draft rather than, you know, these two idiots.
Look at these Jokers.
So they deserve something nice.
So I was happy they were happy.
Pass rush. That's where I'm looking.
I mean, do you just go do you just go do you just go princely
Emoni Allen and you almost go traits of Mikel Williams
plays on early downs for you and then you're just letting
princely pin his ears back.
Right. Like I don't expect to get pass rush out of Mikel in year one.
But I know he could be a force against the run and play
a rugged brand.
So now I go the opposite.
I go get one of the princely, Amon Mielle and Josiah Stewart.
Hey, it's third and 12 get on the field, pin yours back and go kind of guy.
I don't hate this.
They have Austin Booker who I'm sure hoping that they have developmental prospect for
sure comes into his own and gets into that edge rush rotation as well.
Is there an interior guy that's left?
Oh yeah. Not a bad group at all. Farmers there.
No more Norman lot. Yeah, that's a good looking group.
It's good call.
No more Norman lot?
Because they don't really have that right now.
They got Billings. They have Gavon Dexter, Byron Cowart's a free agent. They have Zach Pickens, but he's, I, I, if I remember correctly,
he actually showed a decent amount of pass rush to this past season or at least
more than I thought he was going to. But man,
you get true three technique even to tackle.
I mean, I'm Omar Norman normal lot I'm going interior I'm gonna make that happen as your same concept
you're getting more pass rush twitch yeah yeah three technique pass rusher
for you with a lot of beef there and a lot of guys who know how to defend the
line scrimmage defend the run he's gonna be able to get some one-on-one
opportunities and I'm gonna like that. So man, Chicago
What a haul there for them with their fourth with their with their four picks here in this three round mock draft
You're up at the Raiders now 73. All right, so gente Starks and strong. I like that you went corner
It's definitely, you know an area where especially after free agency. They they might need another body for sure
You know an area where especially after free agency they they might need another body for sure
It's kind of an interesting team because Tyree Wilson really needs to take a step
No, no question. Yeah across from Max Crosby. I
Don't know if I want to live in a world where I'm just assuming that happens and then honestly I don't mind adding another body to this offensive line
And then honestly, I don't mind adding another body to this offensive line either.
So it was receiver too. If they do need receiver as well.
I mean, your boy is here.
Jalen Royals is a good player.
I like Royals a lot.
So I just wonder if, well, you can kind of get one year ahead and say, you know,
we have Jacobi Myers now, but Royals could play that role.
You brought up Bowers taking a lot of reps in the slot.
Mm hmm.
Hmm. Yeah, I'm kind of it's a good one to talk me into.
So it was Gentie, Starks and Strong.
Yeah. OK, so the secondary looks replenished.
They have a I like in DNA running back, like the identity of your offense.
I think I could maybe take one of those tackles later on
to add to this offensive line.
I will go with Royals.
OK, that's a good call.
They they really need another receiver that can contribute this year.
And I like the way Royals plays.
He has good body control.
He's gained a lot of weight throughout college in a good way.
Like he's gotten big and physical.
I remember the first time I ever watched him,
I was like, man, he kind of plays like Devontae Smith.
And now with the amount of muscle he's put on
over the last two years, I'm like,
I just can't even see it anymore.
No, he's bigger.
He looks so different than him.
Yeah, but the same body control and, you know, tracking.
Yeah, so I think maybe an offensive lineup grade.
We talked about there here in the third round,
some targets for him
Definitely whoever might be available at corner or safety and then wide receiver
I think this is a good spot for them to pick up a wide receiver, too
So those are sort of the targets there that we had for the Las Vegas Raiders here with their two picks in the third round
The Carolina Panthers now at 74
We got some freak shows on the roster now. We took Shamar Stewart at eight. We took Darian Porter at 58.
Do you love the NFL comp line?
We're gonna love the Carolina Panthers.
Hey, why are our guys not on time to training camp?
Well, they're at the Olympics, sir.
Yeah, they're earning gold for this country, actually.
So takes precedence.
Oh, man, defensive tackle.
Playing next to Derrick Brown.
Oh, man.
I actually, I'm going to be honest with you.
Keep it a buck.
T.J. West did his full scouting report the other day. Okay.
Man's going up in the rankings.
I remember you liked him at Shrine.
Yeah.
I gave him a third round grade as a nose tackle that's got a lot of good versatility to him.
He's got a lot of nice twitch, really good hand usage.
I think he could defend the run pretty well.
I think he could pin his ears back in situations where it calls for it.
This is really where I would start to think about him.
And I think he's a damn good football player.
I think he gives you more pass rush potential than Josh Farmer.
Okay.
Then Jordan Phillips, then Dion Walker.
Anais Peebles is sort of just like that pass rusher type of a player, but I'd rather take
CJ West over Peebles.
I watched Jamar Caldwell as well.
I did his full scouting report.
I like CJ West more than I like him.
I'm talking myself into it, man.
Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, Because there's not really a difference making safety in Carolina. No.
Xavier Woods is a free agent.
Nick Scott's a free agent.
Jordan Fuller is a free agent.
Damani Richardson is still there.
I think Kevin Winston Jr. changes things for you.
Yeah, he's an enforcer on the back end.
It gives you your defense attitude. And he's pretty twitched up with explosiveness.
He's got a good safety body where he could play in the box.
He's gonna carry like a real 215 pounds as a box safety.
I'm going Kevin Winston Jr. What a hall of athletes.
Shamar Stewart, Darian Porter, Kevin Winston Jr. there for the Carolina Panthers.
But I'm glad I walked myself through the potential options. Because again, that's what the point
of this show is. It's not just finishing this third round of the mock draft. It's giving you guys
conversations about the third round. And I might as well say it now while you guys are watching.
It's a little bit earlier in the show. We would love to hear from you guys. You know, is there a
part of the conversation that we didn't get to when it comes to team needs or who you want your
team to prioritize some third round options for you.
I'll say that at the end of the show as I always do,
but that's sort of the point of this show,
I think is to have some really good conversations
about some day three players
who could be some gems for you.
So 49ers up at number 75, you're on the clock.
Got Mike Green and Donovan Jackson in hand.
Nice little one, two there.
I'd like to look at the interior defensive line again
You see this run kind of going here
Jayvon Hargrave gonna be a cap casualty keep in mind. Oh, they cutting him. Yeah, they're gonna move on from him I'm gonna go Josh Farmer in this spot. I
Think they obviously have a need here. They have a lot of needs for a really good team.
They're kind of turning over certain areas of this roster.
I'm pulling my scouting notes on Farmer.
He's about six, three plays over 300 pounds, super long arms
that you really, really like.
Yeah, like 35 and a fourth, thirty five and a seventh percentile.
Yeah. He gets off the ball really quickly at his size.
Could shoot gaps.
I think he's very, very
like rugged against the run. He will take on contact, get bounce, but fight through contact.
I think he's learning how to use his length.
I think it'll be above average run defender at the NFL level.
I really do. Some of the pass rush is still coming together.
It's a lot of power and effort.
But I think this is the kind of dirty work player
that would help the Niners interior.
I will, I wish she tested a little bit better.
Of course.
I wanted him to test a little bit better for me
to get like all the way bought in,
but it's understanding why you would think
that he is more of a budding high potential,
the best has yet to come for him type of a guy
because this is a dude who showed up at Florida State at like
250 pounds of defensive lineman and they've thrown 50, 60 pounds
a pretty good weight on him and he carries it well now as a 300
pounder. He's got those vines for arms. So definitely a guy
that I could see as a solid third round pick. I think some
people looked at him and maybe thought that he could be a early
second round. Yeah, I was never there. That's right.
A little rich and you know, in solid defense, play him at D tackle in the four three.
Perfect.
It's a good, it's a good fit.
Perfect.
Yeah.
It's a good fit for him.
Love that fit.
Love that fit there.
They pick again.
So we'll get to some more draft strategy when they pick a little bit later in this group.
The Dallas Cowboys, I gave him Jahad Campbell, Trey Harris second round.
So middle of the field defender there for them and Jahad Campbell, Trey Harris second round. So middle of the field
defender there for them and Jahad Campbell who could do a lot for them. And then a vertical
stretching wide receiver and Trey Harris, which I think they need to compliment CD Lamb.
Fortunately, this worked out perfectly for them. It did because the running backs are still here
at 76. You know, they don't, we didn't have them reach for a running back in the
first round or the second round.
And now they have their pick of scam camps, Gattaboo, Caleb Johnson, Dylan Sampson.
This is, we're still doing it's more of our analysis here with some of these
gems, if you will, these guys that we like in the third round, but it also
is still going to be predictive.
I have a hard time thinking that if cam scataboo is here at number 76 and the
Cowboys still need a running back that he is not the pick here for Dallas.
Just because of all the headlines that he gained over the last season,
specifically how versatile he was.
And this is a good football player too.
I don't want to make it seem like he's just riding off of hype.
I don't think he is. I have him RB three in this class because I go back to this all the time.
The most important trait of playing running back is running extremely pissed off
every time you touch the football. Yeah, that's what Cam Scadaboo does and he does it at a pretty damn high level.
Great muscle density, good bounce off of contact.
He can be a plus in the receiving game as well as we saw during the college football
playoff.
He can hit you a little halfback pass when you're not ready for it.
I think he's a really good player.
So I'm going to go with Kamp Scataboo here for the Dallas Cowboys at 76, which gives
them Jahad Campbell, Trey Harris, and Kamp Scataboo.
You can keep that running back tab open for New England here at 77, where you're
going with who we do.
Who are we going with?
Caleb Johnson.
OK, yeah, I think Caleb is kind of reaching the arc of all of a sudden under
appreciated. It's like he had all this hype this fall.
Everybody's like, oh, you got to watch Caleb Johnson.
Like, why is nobody watching Caleb Johnson?
And then he got the deserved detention.
And now we're in draft season.
Everybody's like, Caleb Johnson's overrated.
It's just a deep running back class.
But this guy was Mr.
Consistency for Iowa this year.
I mean, 66 miss tackles force.
He ran for over 100 yards and nine of his 12 games.
He's got a great running back body.
I mean, he's going to play over 220.
It's all muscle. He was telling me he's gotten a great running back body. I mean, he's going to play over 220. It's all muscle.
He was telling me he's gotten a text with Derek Henry a little bit,
which, like, he really has him so excited while he's getting ready.
Yeah, I was like, man, that must be nice.
So you can kind of tell who he wants to play like, which is cool.
He's not as big, but he's a big running back.
I think his vision and outside zone is something that really is like
really, really standout skill for him.
And I know he wasn't throwing the ball a ton, but you know, Drake may checks the ball down to this guy.
You watch the play against Nebraska where he runs through nine defenders on one play like in space is that body can run through a lot of defenders.
So Caleb Johnson, new Patriots running back.
Yeah, you know, I was surprised at his 40 time when he was at the combine.
It was a four or five, seven, which is in the lower lower percentile and I understand like he's carrying a lot of weight
I that's the difference. I fully understand that but I even thought that we'd
Maybe flash a time that was closer to like quinch on Juggins
you know cracking the the four five flat and get you a high four fours just because I feel like I've seen it on the
field and
Play speed obviously matters most.
And certainly when you get him in those zone blocking schemes,
when he hits those outside zones, it feels like he's gone.
So I don't want to make it seem like I'm really hating on Caleb Johnson,
but it is a very talented running back class.
And I do feel as though the combine was a little bit of a missed opportunity for
him to stand out amongst that really talented running back room because Quintin
Junkins stock went up, I think.
Trevion Henderson's went up.
Omarion Hampton stayed up.
Ash Jente's obviously didn't move,
but then you got, you know, R.J. Harvey was great.
DJ Giddens was great.
Bachel Tutin was really special.
Yeah, I mean, Bachel Tutin, obviously,
the athleticism that he has is a track star in high school.
Like, there were just a lot of really athletic running backs and
Caleb Johnson just didn't really put himself in that category and I felt like he could have
um but we just didn't see it. That's not to say that I disagree with this pick at all. If he gets
here in the third round, excellent. Love the one-two punch there with him and Ramon. The sub four six
at 224 pounds is like a big check for me.
I just I don't I don't get as fired up at the guys that go for four at 195 to 205 pounds when a guy's 225 and running sub four six.
I don't disagree with you.
I think it matters more when you run better times and you weigh more.
I don't think there's any doubt about that. It matters more when you run better times and you weigh more.
I don't think there's any doubt about that, but what was he four, five, seven,
two 24.
So that's 46th percentile overall for the running back position. So if you wait, adjust it, I would imagine that you should probably think of it as
if it's like 70th percent, it's 70 something percentile for the position.
So again, it's not bad. And it's why I want to say I'm not trying to discount this pick
here. And I feel like I'm selling a Caleb Johnson hater, which I'm not. It's just there
were so many running backs who helped themselves. And I just don't think that Caleb Johnson
did.
That's fair.
So you go 77 to the Patriots anyways.
The Arizona Cardinals at 78.
A lot of Arizona Cardinals fans told us we nailed it with these first two picks.
So we can't blow it here.
Rare air.
Because Cardinals are tough sometimes.
They have like a little packer in them.
A little bit.
Yeah.
I guess there's a little bit of packers with the Arizona Cardinals.
They don't have like the crazy thresholds yet
But there's a little Packer in them sometimes so will Johnson was our first pick for them in the first round and then it was
TJ Sanders in the second round
That makes me feel like Prince Lee umon me Ellen's a really good pick for them as a true stand-up edge rusher that they would still need
Offensive line though anybody here for offensive line? Man, did they
take a chance on like a Cameron Williams? Right? I don't know if
he's going in the third round, man.
Give him a look at guard. I don't think he has the feet to
be a tackle.
If you're drafting him to be a guard. Yeah, I mean, we're
talking easy day three pick.
Yeah.
Oh, dude, I love these two dudes.
I know you're offensive line Jared Wilson from Georgia and Willie Lampkin from UNC.
Willie is not going in the first when you don't get invited to the combine unless you're
Kobe Turner.
You don't go wrong.
All right.
No, he should have been invited.
Wrong. I really want him to be a Shanahan fullback. Unless you're Kobe Turner, you don't go in the first 100 picks. The NFL is wrong, all right? No, he should have been invited in the combine. They're wrong.
I really want him to be a Shanahan fullback.
So badly.
Do you see Kyle Juszczyk was asked to take a pay cut and they're still kind of working it out?
It makes you wonder.
The dream may still be alive.
Let's see.
Jared Wilson ran like a tight end.
I think I'd still go princely here.
I still think I'd load it up.
Let him and O'Gillari fight for that pass rush roll.
Yeah, and I mean, O'Gillari's been hurt.
That's the problem.
That's the tough part is,
do you wanna go into next year with just O'Gillari
and Zayven Collins?
Because Dennis Gardick's a free agent, Baron Browning's a free agent, Jesse
Lucade is a free agent.
Although Lucade is a restricted free agent, so it's not like guaranteed that
he's out.
They drafted Xavier Thomas.
Hey, I'm still going princely.
Let's do it.
Let's go princely with mine.
Me, Ellen.
Hopefully we're still in the good graces of the Arizona Cardinal fans.
We'll see.
79, the commanders. What did we do for Cardinal fans. We'll see. 79 the commanders.
What do we do for them?
OK, Nick Scorton, beef pass rush,
area out there, sorry, huge real tackle.
Yeah, this is a very like is real football playing draft right here.
It really is.
This absolutely is.
So we're almost due for a fun pick here.
They trade for Debo.
They got Terry McLaurin.
Feels like all their wide receivers are free agents
Zacchaeus, Diami Brown
Noah Brown, Jameson Crowder, KJ Osborne like there's so you could argue that they got a draft that a wide receiver here as well. Mm-hmm
It's it thinned out. What's the wide receiver board look like besides?
Restrepo yeah besides Restrepo?
Yeah, Restrepo's here.
It did thin out.
It really did, wow.
Scroll a little bit, I feel like I might be higher
on some of the, maybe not.
Yeah, they went.
They always go.
They did indeed.
Wow, okay, I'm kinda like, I don't love the value
in this slot that much
What's that?
What about Elijah Royale?
But they drafted Ben Sennett for sure, but yeah, he's also sort of that
Tight end cuz like Ben Sennett's not that big is he?
No, you could see him being used in that
Jack of all trades kind of role.
I guess he's six four two fifty.
Yeah, sorry, Ben Senate.
Apologies, you can't host a pot.
I was not familiar with your weight game.
Oh, man.
Damn, this dude's an athlete, too.
Holy cow. Yeah.
Ninety seventh percentile vert, ninety fourth percentile broad,
ninety sixth percentile three cone.
God, they gotta use, they gotta use the hell out of this guy next year.
His testing was nuts.
Let's go to corner.
Okay.
I think I know where I'm going here.
All right.
Yeah, I'm taking Jacob Parrish.
Oh.
Yeah.
I think he's.
Even though it probably limits Samver still to the outside then then but that's fine. I will perish played outside. I know he's five nine
He did play outside. That's fair. He played outside. I know he's five nine
So he'll get casted into the nickel projections and that's fine
but I
Think you can kind of flip him and Sandra still inside and outside a little bit.
I just need really good players in this situation and Lattimore.
I don't know if his legs are under him anymore.
So I need I need to kind of stockpile some corners here.
Okay.
Yeah, I like the talent of Parrish.
I think he's well worthy of being a top 100 pick.
All right before we get to this next pick is the Indianapolis Colts here.
I'm on the clock with them.

Colts on the clock here at 80. Today Baron, Mason Taylor, just a couple of
SEC greats. Yeah, joining the Indianapolis Colts.
Just a couple of SEC greats. Yeah.
Joining the Indianapolis Colts.
Let's see.
Could potentially use safety,
and we've got some good ones.
Got some good ones here.
Spash and Castro.
Oh man, Andrew McCuba.
Pick 80?
And him and Baron, I asked McCuba about this.
It's funny, this scenario came up.
I'm like, what have you guys got to play together again?
And he was so excited, because he was like,
we, they're like best friends.
And he's like, we before the snap
don't even need to say anything.
We just look at each other and we know exactly
what one another is gonna do.
And between them, they had 11 picks,
so you kind of believe them.
Right, right.
It's like, well, yeah, I believe you.
I've seen it before.
Yep, yep, I believe you.
That's really fun.
And they could go edge rusher as well.
There's some good edge rushers to pick from.
But not anybody, with Julian Blackman still a free agent,
a pending free agent, I love the Macuba pick.
Yeah, I think it'd be awesome.
I'm in, I'm in on this one.
Yeah, we're going to pick Andrew Macuba.
We're going to get we're going to keep the brotherhood together there for Macuba
and and Jade Bear and the connections alive.
The chemistry. I love it.
You love to see it.
So 80 Andrew Macuba, the safety from Texas.
You're up with the Bengals here at 81 Bengals at 81.
Deservingly so, I have been warned, not threatened by the big roar, that I need to
solve the interior of this offensive line in this slot.
You know, and I think it's great.
I think it's fair.
No, I remember when I made one of the picks, I was like, I'll get a guard later.
Well, the bills come due.
So who did we get?
I just want to read it.
So Kenneth Grant and Xavier Watts, for those the treadmill Stairmaster whatever your preferences of sweating
Never mind. Let's stop that now
Man the board thinned out pretty quickly
Can I interest you in one Anthony Belen?
Have I fucked up? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Belen, who is a great candidate to be taken here. I'm actually I have options.
I'm going to take Charles Grant in this spot.
Oh, yeah. Charles Grant.
Play him at throw him at guard.
Now, I think he can play tackle at the next level.
What are you measuring out?
That's what I'm pulling up right now.
The official six five, probably a little under six.
Five. No, no, no. What?
Wait, three, 11. What weight? 311.
Oh, he was?
He's got long arms, 34 and three quarters.
No, super long.
Look, he fits the billing of just the alien arm length
that they're putting, just a feared front court
where you're just never coming into the paint.
Right.
I like Charles Grant a lot in this spot.
If you really wanted more beef, you take Belton.
But I think Grant.
As a lot more upside than him, honestly.
Pulling up the the officials.
Yeah, crunching.
I'm crunching the numbers here.
Yeah, crunching. I'm crunching the numbers here. Yeah, I would, so to be honest with you, I would pick Belton. Yep.
But I can understand.
And again, if you're prioritizing length, which it feels like the Cincinnati Bengals have done with their offensive tackle additions over the last couple of years, this one does make a lot of sense because Grant's got those vines for arms.
And if you think that he can move into tackle, I think he's got the footwork.
He can play both.
What'd you say?
He can play both and I don't feel that way necessarily about Belton at the moment.
I think he's got the footwork to be able to play.
I think if you prioritize the versatility more, you draft Grant.
But if you want a guy who is probably a safer projection as a guard, you would take Belton.
That's my thoughts.
That's totally fair. But you're going Grant? I'm going Grant. Okay. All right. And I'm
excited about it. You shouldn't be. The Seahawks at 82 gave him Kelvin Banks
Jr. at number 18. Gave them Demetrius Knight Junior at 50.
So who's the next junior?
Who's the closest junior that I can draft here? Harold Fanon Jr.
Oh, okay.
All right.
Just keep that train rolling.
Is there anybody else that's intriguing outside of Harold Fanon?
Next page.
Next page.
Who's a junior?
Give me a junior.
Somebody.
Billy Bowman.
Billy Bowman Jr.
That's a good one.
That is a good one.. That's a good one. That is a good one.
Bowman's a good player.
Actually kinda don't hate that.
I'm not gonna pick it at 82.
Okay.
Oh wait, who's their center?
Seattle's interior offensive line was terrible last year.
They could actually make multiple additions.
Oh, yes.
Oh, all the team.
He was their center.
Dude, I don't think all the team is keeping me from picking.
I'm going to say no.
Jared Wilson.
Wow.
Yeah.
And they just that front office, the data bros in that front office just love the spreadsheet
freaks like Jared
Wilson I mean he was one of the top athletes that we had on the interior
offensive line all time you like all time he only got one year of starting at
Georgia but that's because they I mean Cedric van Pren was truly like a mental
emotional I guess, physical leader.
He's like Dumbledore of college football.
He was the what?
Dumbledore.
Yeah, absolutely.
You know, that makes sense.
I actually comparison.
A little late on the comparison, but if I can go back and redo it,
I'd say Cedric van Prenn Dumbledore.
That actually that kind of checks out.
I see it slowly processing through your brain and you're like, you know what?
Not the craziest thing. I see it slowly processing through your brain and you're like, you know what?
Not the craziest thing.
I don't hate it.
I mean Dumbledore was a little bit low percentile
for the interior offensive line
when it comes to overall weight,
but I think he had the length.
Maybe it was just the fact that it was next to kids,
but look, I think that he's got the length
to be able to play O-line at the NFL level.
He's got the movement skills.
Yeah, him and Cedric Van Prang cut from the same cloth.
Absolutely, I see it. So again, we gave them Kelvin Banks Jr.
And I loved giving them Kelvin Banks Jr.
in the first round because he gives them that guard tackle flexibility in case
something happens with, uh, Abe Lucas longterm.
Jared Wilson is a mainstay at the center position for you and you'd feel great
about it. So I am double dipping here because this was a big time issue from
them for them. I don't, there's not an edge rusher, because like I could also think about edge rusher
here for them.
There's not anybody that's like really doing it for me on the, I guess, you know, Josiah
Stewart's great.
Yep.
Jordan Burch is a good bet to make.
I think you had it right though.
I'm exploring the possibilities, but I like Jared Wilson the most, man.
I really do. I'm picking him at 82 bucks at 83.
Donovan, as a rock and Benjamin Morrison, some of us bucks draft of all time
to beef up their defense.
Well, really just bring with as a rock, you get that speed off the edge.
Benjamin Morrison, you get some physical feistiness Todd Bulls corner. Oh
Man, what do you think is the most pressing need after those two picks?
Linebacker death and let's assume Chris Godwin is resigning with the team
I will be surprised if you try which I always would correct right that just would be shocking if they let him out the door. Oh
man I always would, correct. Right, that just would be shocking if they let him out the door. Oh man, you're not gonna like this,
but if I was taking one and I don't think
you need to do it here, could probably do it in the fourth,
I would take Barrett Carter for them.
I don't hate it, man.
Hear me out.
Bowles always likes linebackers like this,
going all the way back to
Was it?
Washington on the Cardinals. What was his first name? He got suspended a couple times with Darryl Washington. You remember him? Oh sure Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, Darryl Washington
Was an absolute freak
And then he drafted Darren Lee in the first round
Yeah, Bowles likes that money backer that could just fly around behind his front.
And you can even kind of play the overhang.
Carter's done all of that before, and he's obviously just a plus plus character.
So if I was taking a linebacker here, I would be taking Carter for this team.
I don't hate it. I would be taking Carter for this team.
I don't hate it.
If I was taking this position group, is there a second position group that you think is in need? Yeah, I tight end.
Then Elijah Royale is one of the best players on the entire board right now.
Right, right.
I would say it's hard to get out of a three round mock draft for the Buccaneers
and not have a linebacker because they were that bad there last year.
You don't think they could sign the linebacker group of free agency for as bad as this free
agency is. It's got a lot of starters. Yeah. They just got too much housekeeping to do.
Right. What do you mean?
Like keep retaining Godwin. No, I mean, for sure. Look, they could go
that direction. If you want me to be honest with you, I would draft Elijah Royal. I would draft. I mean, it's a no brainer. He's one of the best players on my entire board because they like Savasio Dennis and he's supposed to be back from injury next year. And it was as bad as it was this year because he was hurt. It was never supposed to be those other guys like KJ Britt and everybody like starting in his place.
It was supposed to be him.
So if he's back out there with Levante David, I think it's fine.
And then you draft the linebacker higher next year.
So Arroyo, it's an easy one.
Donovan Ezraku, Benjamin Morrison, Elijah Arroyo is a hell of a haul for the bucket.
It is.
And Baker like Baker with Ar the Royals a really nice fit
I would agree really nice fit. I would agree Denver Broncos. We gave him Colson Loveland and Carson
Schwesinger the linebacker from UCLA
They need a running back now
Dylan Sampson's here
Yep. Yeah, that's easy. This one's pretty damn easy for me. Are there other
positions I suppose Xavier Restrepo would also make sense for this team?
Would I pick Restrepo over Dylan Sampson? I wouldn't. I probably wouldn't in this situation. I mean,
Audric Estimé obviously is gonna get 330 carries next year, reminiscent of Larry
Johnson. 17 touchdowns. Breaking out with the Kansas City Chiefs. So, but you know,
you want a little bit of a spell after that. You know, after the Broncos get up
42 to nothing, and Audric Estimé's got five touchdowns already in the first half. You do want somebody to be in there where you can give him, you know, after the Broncos get up 42 to nothing and Audric estimates got five touchdowns already in the first half.
You do want somebody to be in there where you can give them, you know, a
little bit of a break in the second half and you get some speed to change it up
there, but I wouldn't hate Restrepo, but I am going to go with Dylan Sampson.
I'm going to go with Dylan Sampson Broncos fans.
Let me know what you think.
They're just this total hall.
It's Colson Lovens, Carson Sweishinger, and it's Dylan Sampson there for them and you know thinking about the wide receiver position
But we just didn't hit on it there for them hit on tight end
So maybe that's just sort of that pseudo way to do that
But I'm gonna go Dylan Sampson for the Denver Broncos Steelers at 85
They took Chider Sanders at 21 Jack Besh to help their wide receiver room at 53. I
Feel like this team
Could use another addition at defensive back.
Totally.
In this spot.
It's just a matter of what is ultimately left.
This to me would probably be more in the Noah Williams, Quincy Riley range if I was just
drafting off like what I think.
Yeah, it's man.
Let me pull up my notes on Riley real quick.
I mean, I think Riley would make sense for them.
Yeah, that's kind of where I'm leaving. Sebastian Castro is still here though to play the slot for him.
That's interesting.
Now, Oh, Camp Sutton is a free agent.
Yeah, and then they got Beanie Bishop, who's obviously a backup.
Oh, I like that.
Beanie played all right, but yeah, it was better than I even I expected to be honest with you.
Although you know what?
No, because they have DeSean Elliott and Minka.
Yes, Castro's not.
That's not a crazy pick in this spot.
He's he can man like, is he just a stealer kind of player to the kind of guy they always draft smart physical.
And I wondered if Beanie could play on the outside.
He's no no.
I don't think so because then Dante Jackson's a free agent.
Cory Trice is always hurt.
Pierre James a free agent.
They are thin at corner thin.
Where man.
Yeah, it might.
It's tricky.
You tell me it's really tricky.
I'll say this about Quincy Riley.
I thought in 2023 when he wasn't dealing with the ankle injury,
he was really good in man coverage.
I was like, wow, this is a different player in 2024.
He couldn't move the same way. And maybe that's why I believe he had a little bit of a bump at the senior bowl
Probably just healthy
Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna take I'm gonna take Quincy Riley. Okay, so I just need a real corner
I don't love the way the board broke, but I think he's the best one on the board
All right charges at 86 we gave him a mech egg buka at 22. We gave him Landon Jackson at 54
This team could certainly use a tight end as well.
T-Ferg. T-Ferg.
Honestly, good range for him right here.
This is where it starts.
Yeah, 86 pick in the draft.
I do think this is where it starts.
Running back as well.
Dobbins is a free agent.
Yeah.
Running backs a sneaky one for them, huh?
I don't know how sneaky it is, brother. Team runs the shit out of the football.
So, right.
Right.
I mean, if they want to win the super bowl, they should just draft RJ Harvey, but
I don't know if, I don't know if they want to win yet.
You know, you might want to. TBD. Harvey, but I don't know if they want to win yet. You might want to...
TBD.
Push that back a little bit.
They just released Joey Bosa as well.
Yeah, they're up to something, for sure.
They're scheming.
Scheming.
Devonta Adams, maybe?
We'll see.
Kruu Ford's a free agent.
T.R. Tort's a free agent, Tiertard's a free agent. I feel like there's gonna be a good interior defensive lineman who we still got on the
board.
Ah man, CJ West and Jordan Phillips.
I feel like it's one of these two dudes.
I really do.
I'm gonna go West. West's higher for me.
Then do it.
I'm gonna go CJ West here for the Los Angeles Chargers.
Give them a little interior defensive line help along with Landon Jackson, who we already
gave them here in this draft.
You can get running back a little bit later, I still think.
So CJ West from Indiana.
Those are some of the options there for the Chargers that we had at 86.
Chargers fans, I know you guys love watching this show and we really appreciate it. Let us know what you think of this hall and then some of the
options that you could have in the third round. We would love to hear from you. Our favorite
team, the Green Bay Packers now back on the clock and just like you wanted, just like
you wanted all three picks, you asked for this. Yep. You got it. We gave him a savoan revel number 23 Game milk I am a near at 55. Where we going here with number 87. Let's see the defensive line in this spot
Birch's man screaming to me
Screaming
Thank Jared. Ivy's also there. Yep
Yep ball Jordan birches too though. He definitely. Yeah, I think birch is the pick here I feel like Jared Ivy is also there. Yep. Yep.
Jordan Birch is too though.
I think Birch is the pick here.
His types of players that are just oversized, athletic.
They don't need the eye popping production.
Birch is very packerish in this spot.
For those that aren't familiar with the man's work
He is a six foot four two hundred eighty pounds super sized edge
That can really kick in and out
Production skyrocketed this year at eight and a half sacks and that's missing a couple games due to a knee
but This is a type of Packer player for their front. I
Would agree. I think that this is a type of Packer player for their front. I would agree.
I think that this is a premium target for them
if they still want to hit defensive line in the third round.
I think Jordan Burch, I think you nailed it actually
with that one and the type of player they gravitate towards.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are back on the clock.
Mason Graham, Gray Zable, Tate Ratledge.
Those are the guys that we got here.
Way too easy.
My favorite draft. Sprinting the card in. Yeah. Tate ratledge those are the guys that we got here. I'm waiting for you after
Sprinting the card in yeah, you just moved on from Christian Kirk all due respect to Parker Washington if Xavier Restrepo is here
You're taking them. Yeah any Trevor strikes again
Any Trevor also loves a very shrivel so
Andy Trevor also loves Avery Ruscirepo, so. Andy Trevor has never heard of Parker Washington.
We didn't take a corner for them, and I think that that's tough.
Sign one.
But I don't think we took the wrong players for them either.
No, just sign one.
Be an adult, go out in free agency, get a starting corner.
He said be an adult.
Take care of your chores.
Go sign one in free agency. Houston starting point. He said be in a goal. Take care of your chores. Go sign one in free agency.
Houston, Texas.
Matthew Golden and Jonah Sabanai.
So they got a wide receiver
and they got a offensive line
that I think is a guard, but.
Mm hmm.
I agree with you.
Now, where do we go from here?
This is kind of interesting. You could easily
argue they should double up
on offensive line. I also think
that they need an interior defensive
lineman in this
spot. Yeah, they got Tim Settle.
Fato Kasi
is a free agent.
Mario Williams is a free agent. Yeah, they need a
defensive tackle for sure.
I ain't leaving without one. All right. Oh
Let's just let uh, oh Jamari Caldwell done
Alright, you're guy. Yeah, Jamari. What I like about Caldwell in this spot over like a Jordan Phillips and Dion Walker is
That in D'Amico scheme with Caldwell you could ask him to be that two gapping
scheme with Caldwell you could ask him to be that two gapping
Beef-eater, but I think his feet are good enough that if he was on the field in a rush situation. He'd be fine
So I like the I like the way he plays for D'Amico scheme as a rotational nose, okay? All right, Jeremiah Caldwell off the board there at 89 then Los Angeles Rams at 90
Well, they have to picks still here. Yeah.
In a 10 slot range, right?
Yeah.
We gave them Luther Burden at 26.
They've signed Aleric Jackson.
They moved on from Jonah Jackson.
They're moving on from Cooper Cup.
They brought back Tutu Atwell.
Now we're saying that they've got Luke the Bird and
sort of slide in for Cooper Cups targets there. This is another team that needs corner.
I don't know if they would take any of these guys here. I guess Noel Williams.
Noel Williams, yeah.
Yeah.
I feel like that's one that could make sense for them.
And then tight end.
Do we have tight end?
Yeah, I mean, Ferg.
T-Ferg.
Terrence Ferguson.
There's enough tight ends left to where I'm going to take...
Oh, what about...
No, there's no linebackers left.
That would make sense, I don't think.
No, not that I would draft here.
I'm gonna take Noel Williams, the corner, from Cal.
Bigger, taller, stronger corner,
a lot of good ball production.
I think he's got the mentality of a press man corner.
Sometimes I doubt the athleticism a little bit from him,
but he's a fearless dude who plays with a ton of strength,
really good in run defense.
I think he's gonna be their guy, they're going to be able to put him in
some really good situations.
So I'm going to go with him here and then I'm going to see what tight ends we got
when we come back around on the clock at number 100.
So you're up with the Ravens at 90 91 Ravens at 91.
Let's take a look at what their draft is stacking up.
Ohio State back to back picks around one Josh Simmons to be their franchise
left tackle with the potential departure of Ronnie Stanley JT to email low at Malo at pick 59 to get a
sturdy heavy-handed edge which is very very Ravens hmm how it becomes really
interesting because they can capitalize on the value at wide receiver if it's
still there
Kind of want to take a look I
Don't actually don't love this wide receiver board
Savion Williams very Ravens very Ravens. Yeah, I don't I think I'd rather just wait I'll take one of these guys in the fourth or fifth round. I
wonder if Deontay Thornton starts to get some late third round love just
because of him.
What did he, what did he officially?
Something crazy.
Measure in at no, his 40 was a four or three flat.
Yeah.
He just had a crazy day.
He was six, four and five eights.
So yeah, so he's basically six foot five, 205 pounds, got the long arms to him as well.
Just a really good athlete, a dude who can stretch the field for you.
The Vert's a little surprising considering how great everything else is at thirty three.
But they just they don't have that play.
They wanted Tez Walker to be that player and maybe he can.
But yeah, I just entry.
He's intriguing to me.
Maybe not at 91.
But I wonder if he gets starts to get talked about in the back end of the third.
I think next year is gonna be the Rashad Bateman year.
Oh yeah?
Yeah.
This is the year?
It felt like-
As opposed to the last three years?
Last year he was good.
Dude, I know.
I don't wanna sound like a Rashad Bateman hater
because I loved him coming out of Minnesota,
but I've just been very frustrated with I get it.
I feel like it's taken him to become an impactful.
No, that's fair.
And it's a lot of it is just staying on the field and practicing consistently
and right. All of that fun stuff.
But nonetheless, the Ravens,
I had an idea for them and it just totally slipped my mind.
Well, I'm not going wide.
Oh, OK, so hear me out.
And this is a very Ravens thing to do
and maybe their fans will hate this.
I feel like we're maybe getting to the end
of the Mark Andrews era there.
And obviously Isaiah likely is gonna be a part of that team.
But this team lives in 12 personnel.
I think I'm gonna take Terrence Ferguson here.
This is what the Ravens do.
They draft one year ahead all the time.
All the time.
And if the identity of your offense
is being able to run out two tight ends,
capable tight ends,
if you don't get Ferguson now,
I mean, the board is going to drop off a little bit,
unless you, you're there,
unless they're higher on these guys than me.
Mark Andrews is 29 years old this season.
It is the last year of his contract.
He will be 30 and an unrestricted free agent next year.
Yeah.
So it does line up.
It goes, it goes quick.
And he'll he'll play this season as a 30 year old by the way. So yeah I'm going
Terrence Ferguson and Ravens fans I'd love to hear from you if that's just
like me galaxy braining the pick but I don't know I think that's just down to
their mold of being a year ahead at a Ferguson. I believe the highest vert I
believe the fastest 40 of any of the tight
ends that worked out this past weekend showed up like a really good athlete played really
well at the senior bowl had a nice year at Oregon despite being in a crowded receiver
room there for them. So T for really good last calendar year for them. So I could absolutely
see him getting into this late third round realm. New York Jets, we brought the beef.
We brought it.
Ron Mimbu, Ty Lee Williams.
Can I interest you in a little Torrey Horton?
Or no?
I don't know.
Do you think that they can't do that in the fourth round?
Maybe so.
I don't think Torrey Horton's a top 100 pick.
It would be my take.
All right.
Sorry, I really like sucked the fun out of that.
No, it's fine.
It's just when I thought of guys.
Can you show me the quarterbacks?
I mean, you got Jalen.
That's who I take.
Without a doubt.
Jalen Milro sitting behind Tyrod Taylor.
Why the hell not?
If you miss its pick 92 in the draft.
Look, you don't got to convince me this is the player that I would take the chance on.
Yeah. So no, great with it.
You got like the floor of the two got membu and tie
leak is you feel so good about those guys in your trenches for a while
Yeah, take a swing at 92 at a position with an athlete
I'm down with it Saints at 93
Feel like I just picked for the Saints because I did Jaylen know you did man
They've had a pretty draft Tyler Warren Darius Alexander and Jalen know
That's a good looking draft.
Now for the rest of their needs.
Feel like you could...
You know what's...
Go ahead.
I'd look O-line, honestly.
I was just gonna say,
this is kind of Anthony Beltin, right?
Yeah, it depends on what you think of Trevor Penning. I'd look O line honestly. I was just gonna say this is kind of Anthony Belton, right? Yeah
Depends on what you think of Trevor Penning. Well do I have to because Lucas Patrick's a free agent
Landon Young is a free agent Shane Lemieux is a free agent They do still have Nick Salda very who could play interior if you wanted to but Anthony Belton can probably play at right guard
Right away, you know what else they need if they're gonna move on from the honey badger,
they need a safety badly.
Okay.
But I don't know what that board looks like at this point.
I mean, ransom.
Ransom's good.
Bowman is who I would take.
Really?
Yeah, I would take Bowman
because I think you can ask a lot of him in coverage.
I love Billy Bowman, but I don't think,
I don't know if the league would take him above ransom. But. Yeah, I would take Bowman in this spot don't think you think it's early. The league would take him above ransom.
But I would say I would take Bowman in this spot.
We didn't do safeties yet.
So maybe I'm just being overzealous right now.
But from what I've watched of this group, I in this for this team, I would take Bowman.
I think he's a hell of a football player, man.
I know he's a little bit boomer bus, but I love him.
He is small.
He's 192 pounds, but he's got a different energy on the field.
And I think he can move on the back end in a way not everybody can.
All right.
We'll go Bill Bowman here at number 93 Cleveland Browns at 94 cam ward at two
or Mario Hampton at 33 and you gave him Wyatt Milam at 67.
at Milam at 67. The guy that I was talking about when we were going to get here that I would be intrigued with to double dip
on the offensive line would have been Charles Grant from William
and Mary because I think that he has the footwork and speed to
be able to run anything from mid outside zone for
you.
Right.
So I think that could have made a lot of sense there.
We've got the running back.
We've got the quarterback corner.
Nah, I don't know.
We feel like the corner is left there.
Yeah.
What if they trade Miles Garrett?
Got to get, got to rush the passer somehow.
Yeah, they do
Who's on the roster right now opposite miles Garrett
Isaiah McGuire
Alex Wright
Okoronkwo shoot, okay.
So this basically for me comes down to, do you want the flash of Josiah Stewart? Right.
Or do you want the floor of Jack Sawyer?
Great call.
It's, I mean I would take Stewart because I just don't know if they can get into the quarterback.
I would take Stewart as well. As much as Sawyer might be the sturdier player, I would take Stewart because I just don't know if I think I would take I would take Stewart as well as much as soire might be the sturdier player.
I know what you mean.
You'd want that.
I think I'd want to increase the team speed.
That's what I'm thinking.
I'm losing Miles Garrett.
How am I getting off the field on third downs?
Yeah.
I'll go just I steward here.
Smaller player, smaller edge rusher, but a passage
windbreak wind rate of twenty seven point seven percent this past season.
Ninety nine percent. Ins season. 99th percentile.
Just absolutely insane.
Yep.
All right, so Josiah Stewart there for the Cleveland Browns at 94.
Kansas City Chiefs, we gave them Trayvon Henderson at pick number 66.
They took Josh Connelly and Alfred Collins already earlier in the draft.
Where are we going here?
Feels like dealer's choice almost.
Yeah.
Oh, you could go linebacker here.
You could go linebacker.
See this, I think this went how we wanted it to go.
Right.
The question is like who is,
who's the player that kind of fits in this spot?
Is it Bossa?
Or is it, do you think a smaller guy in Carter?
Probably Bossa.
I think so too.
I think it would be Bossa for them specifically.
I am a little worried about the lack of Twitch with Bossa because I think he's got good top speed.
But I think he's more of a smooth accelerator than he is a true change of direction guy after doing his full eval last night.
So I still like this player.
He is a constant communicator.
You could tell he just, yeah, I mean, he loves the game.
He's got, again, got good top overall athleticism,
scores, miles per hour, data points, all that,
but he does lack a little bit of that
put your foot in the ground and truly change direction
at a rare level, which sometimes you need a linebacker.
So. Yeah, I think they can live with that though, in this role.
I would, I'd go with Bossa here.
All right.
We're going with Jefford Bossa.
It works for them to wait on the linebacker pick Philadelphia Eagles at 96.
We gave him Tyler Booker at 32, Braden Swinson, uh, at a 64.
Oh geez.
I mean, Jared Ivies, I would kick Jared Ivy inside.
Right.
Man. What a draft.
Shocking.
If they're able to do that. Yeah, Jared Ivy. This is easy for me.
I've been trying to get Jared Ivy off the board for a long time for like 20 picks
But it's never really made sense It makes sense for the Philadelphia Eagles who if they come away with Tyler Booker Braden Swinson and Jared Ivy
Like again, I just we say it all the time on this show
But the Eagles are set up so well to just draft so well, right?
I would be an incredible haul for them, but you got the Vikings up in 97
You know what a pick I pick I thought you were gonna talk yourself into because it's like their sneakiest need
Kenneth Gainwell is a free agent. Imagine if they took RJ Harvey or Tootin.
The only thing is, I feel you there, but they do have Will Shipley who they played a little bit more at the end of the season and I think into the playoffs.
So I just don't think they do it over a trench player that could continue to.
They'll take a day three running back and let Shipley and him battle behind Saquon. Exactly. Yeah.
The Vikings back on the clock at 97, only one pick so far.
That was a Zari a Thomas, the corner out of Florida State,
which is a big need for them right now.
I am going to look at the running back class here.
OK, even if Aaron Jones is back, he can't just like,
you know, assume that he's always healthy.
And this is where I would I would actually go with Tootin.
I think whoa, you're getting him in the third round.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think I'd go with Tootin compared to the board.
I mean, we've had a lot of running backs go.
Wow.
Yeah.
That's that's way early for me. Think about what they do, though, with the outside zone for the O'Connell
and that speed and vision that I get it.
The speed connection.
Get him in space.
I mean, the combine was silly.
Four, three, two, 40 and a half inch for four, four, one shuttle.
Like, yeah, he's a freak.
Yeah, this is this might
surprise people but this would be tooting for me wow okay all right facial
tooting off the board here I just for conversation purposes I probably would
have gone with Jordan Phillips okay it makes a ton of sense. Run defense in the middle of that defense. Yeah. And then.
I would have looked.
Interior offensive line, I get I probably would have I
or I would have gone with Belt and then moved them in the guard.
That's what I would I would have done more trench work, but man,
if you want to get faster in the running back room,
that is how you do it.
Yeah, they could definitely use a guard.
I'm hoping for agency, they can get some work done by not extending by not giving Sam
a deal.
Tells me they're going to do a lot of work at the positions in
need.
They've got a lot of flexibility there.
Yeah, I doubt about it.
I think they'll sign some starters on both sides of the trenches.
Miami Dolphins at 98.
We gave him Nicky man, warrior 13 and then Marcus Bow at 48. I like both of those
picks for them. Really increased the athleticism of this team. And this makes this pick incredibly
easy for me with Lathan and Ransom still here. I mean, this is a starting caliber safety at the
NFL level. Well, I guess it kind of depends. If they think that Nicky Manwari is playing
more of that true safety spot, I feel like he's more of a linebacker, but I guess we already made
that pick for them. So maybe I shouldn't, maybe I shouldn't just double dip on
the safety spot.
I like the fit there.
Let's see.
Willie Lampkin? you're saying you're saying
Roney, I like Mike McDaniel fullback from the mid and outside zone. Did you say?
What's during theory defense blind look like I feel like it's a need for them
Let's see
Let's see. Is this where they would dip their toe in the defensive line waters? Ah, definitely.
Clay is Campbell's free agent.
Benito Jones free agent.
Sean Hans a free agent.
Zach Silas basically the only one on the interior defensive line that is
under contract.
Okay.
So I think this would be a spot for them to, Oh, Elijah Roberts.
I like that. Jack Sawyer. I like it's just a versatile defensive lineman at this point. I think this would be a spot for them to Elijah Roberts. I like that Jack Sawyer
I like it's just a versatile defensive lineman at this point. I think he's got value
Would they draft Dion Walker here?
You think they would do it and I mean nothing would shock me would Walker because of his build
I
Think I'm gonna go Dion Walker here just because of the unique crazy build.
I think they take a chance on him.
I'm going to go with him here with the Dolphins at 98.
So we got three picks left.
You're up for the Niners at 99.
Niners again, Mike Green, Don Donovan Jackson Joshua Farmer
Pass rush pass protection interior D line to help this team
Man you know Kyle's just gonna take another running back on day three
Because that's just they'll just stockpile 75 running backs
Which is fine or the or the trade Jordan Mason.
Did I read correctly that who Fonga less likely than likely to be back with them?
Because if so, then that's it.
I mean, that's it. That could be a Latham spot too.
Oh, you didn't take him.
That's right. I'm thinking you did know then I would I would look at safety if
if who Fonga is not going to be back.
Yeah, could also argue. No, they were they're OK. They're not going to be back. Yeah, you can also argue.
No, they were they're OK.
They're not going to they wouldn't have a spot for Castro.
The corner the corner board isn't what we like.
Yeah, I would take I would take Lathan Ransom here to help with safety.
OK, you're going to need somebody next to Mustafa.
Do you entertain wide receiver at all?
I thought about it. That's why I was kind of like looking up and down because.
They traded Debo, right?
Joanne Jennings is very good.
Ricky Pierce will be even better in year two and you have Iook off the ACL.
So.
Savion Williams is kind of hilarious.
Like as the Debo replacement.
He is, you know, cause he does the running back yards after catch
thing. He just does it at like six foot four or two. Yeah. She's a different breed of it.
I know. I don't know if here, I think I would take ransom here, but save you on that would
be a fun fit for the team. Okay. All right. So we'll go, uh,athan Ransom there at 99. Pick 100, the Los Angeles Rams.
Luther Burden, Noel Williams.
I mean, did they just take Sawyer off the board
at this point?
It's not crazy.
I was looking at that for the Lions.
Just because of how long this went on, his fall.
Just because of how long this went on his fall. I don't know who else they would pick.
Corner wide receiver.
The tight ends that are left available.
I mean, did they just take the chance on maybe a Harold Fanny Jr.
Let's see. Ram's depth chart.
How they got a lot of tight ends, I guess that they would be fine with.
They're tricky, man. It's hard to get into the mind of the Los Angeles Rams.
I just don't know. I don't they
don't really know what they would be thinking here.
I guess they do need interior like interior linebacker help.
Basically, a lot of them are unrestricted free outside of Omar Spades.
It's just a matter of like who is worthy of that spot here.
Yeah, do they like Danny Stutzman, Eric Carter?
I think I'll go Barrett Carter.
I like him. Still being on board.
Just continuing to let the
front seven just have a lot of speed in it.
And then that puts you up with the Lions at one on one for this last pick here.
James Pierce Jr. Poo Paul.
I asked me, so I saw it totally different edge than Pierce and we this front was decimated
by injury last year.
Yeah it's it's so it's the value you're getting jack so you're a pick one on one.
Yeah now before you click it I think we should probably keep the draft open because it would
we'd lose the board.
Ah great call for, great call.
The team is like the Falcons and the Bills.
Yeah, so the Atlanta Falcons don't have a third round pick
because of the Judon trade.
The Tennessee Titans don't have one
because of the Lich Area Sneed trade
and the Bills don't have one
because of the Amari Cooper trade.
So if you're the Atlanta Falcons.
Damn, okay, so we gave the Falcons.
Jaylen Walker, I wanna say. Yeah Falcons. Jaylen Walker, I want to get it, I want to say.
Yes, Jaylen Walker, and then who is their other pick here?
And then Maxwell Harrison.
So those are the two picks for them.
Defense, defense, pass rusher, corner.
If you lose Drew Dahlman, you think about center for sure.
Right, if there's anybody.
Like if Jared Wilson was still here,
I think that they would,
that would be a great replacement for him.
Yep.
Wide receiver, I guess if you wanted another wide receiver,
you'd be talking about like a,
probably like a Savion Williams, maybe an Isaiah Bond,
if you thought that of Isaiah Bond.
D-Tackle for sure.
Oh yeah, they would need D-Tackle.
And there's D-Tackle's left.
Right, no, that would be a great and there's D tackles left. Right. No, that would be a
great scenario. This would be Jordan Phillips, Jordan Phillips. It would 100% be Jordan Phillips
here. Yeah. Yeah. So I think the Falcons, that's sort of the conversation with them.
And that's how we would see that if they were to trade sort of up into the backend part
of the third round Titans, we gave the Titans Abdul Carter and then Jaden Higgins.
So just two good football players there.
But this is a team that needs a lot anyway.
So it's sort of probably best player available at that point for them.
I would think so.
I wouldn't even be shocked.
Do you try to stash and develop Cam Williams?
I don't hate that. I think
I hate that. You got Bill Callahan there. It's the best play right tackle for you.
That's sure. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. And if those two dudes were
work out, JC Latham's on one side, Cam Williams on the other. Like that's some
beef at offensive tackle. Yep. Yeah, I don't hate that one. Anybody else that I'd consider maybe
corner but the corner board isn't super strong. You're already kind of fixing edge. Yeah,
I guess that's where I would go. I would go offensive line. I go. I would go Cam Williams.
Not really anybody else that I would think about there. He's the most talented. I mean,
maybe Logan Brown, maybe Ajani Cornelius.
Maybe Jalen Rivers from Miami, who I thought I could try in bowl week, but probably Cam Williams there.
And then the last one's the Buffalo Bills. So we had the Bills, and they picked a couple of times, if I remember correctly.
They had a good value draft. Walter Nolan at 30.
Walter Nolan at 30, Trey Amos at 56, and then Kyle Kennard.
So we really hit on defensive line.
We got two defensive linemen, and then we got a corner.
So it really would be best player available stuff for both.
I'd look at wide receiver.
I mean, Matt Collins is a free agent, and Mario Cooper is a free agent.
You got Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir.
Like this could be a spot where like you just take Isaiah Bond and say, hey man, try to up the team speed, try to up the team speed,
try to get the most out of him.
Maybe so it's Josh Allen.
So you have somebody that could throw it a mile Who plays who plays slot for them right now?
Don Kincade.
Oh, it covers the nickel.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. On the back end.
Teron Teron Johnson.
Oh, it is Teron Johnson.
He's good. Yeah.
I wondered if he was a free agent or not, because Sebastian Castro
would still be here for that.
I mean, yeah, I know Johnson got hurt last year, too.
So you're always looking for depth and Castro would supply that.
I'm looking at any of the recent guys like if somebody who went off the board recently would make a lot of sense for them.
I think a linebacker could make sense for them to get another linebacker in there.
Yeah, I mean Milano's getting to the to the end there. I think they've drafted behind him
well with like Dorian Williams and Terrell Bernard.
But they could use another body there if you think if,
you know, you're worried about injury.
Yeah, I think that maybe I would go linebacker
if they were to sneak back into the third round, if somebody dropped to them.
Kaiser, like, but I don't think you need to.
I think you could wait still on Kaiser, Cody Simon, Danny Stutzman.
Like, I think that you could you could wait on a lot of those guys
I agree linebacker would be next it was just that but that's sort of those are sort of my targets there for
For Buffalo there as a day three
Connection that they could have but honestly just nailing those first two rounds the way that we did just
Building the defense with those those players is great.
So there we go everybody.
Whoo.
Third round in the books.
We wrapped it up three round post combine mock draft in the form of just some
day three targets for every single team.
Uh, appreciate everybody watching and listening to the show.
We would love to hear from you guys.
Uh, let us know what you thought of some of the strategy, some of the
conversations that we had here,
how we were breaking it down in a combination
of what we did in the first and second rounds
and then some other options that these teams could have.
Let us know what your favorite day three gems could be
for your favorite teams, some connections,
whether it's scheme fits or guys that you just think
are underrated right now, best way to do that,

Connor, anything else before we get out of here?
Great exercise. It felt very fresh and unique to talk about the third round players.
It's just I know we do it with positional rankings, but when actually talking about
them with teams, talking about where teams lack depth, what they need, it's just it's
a great exercise. I know people keep challenging us to do a seventh round mock
draft. And I swear we we're trying to have something up our sleeve.
It's. It's going to be in the works. have something up our sleeve. It's.
It's going to be in the works. It's in the works.
It's just.
It needs to be done the right way, but we are going to try to do we get in the
Guinness Book of World Records for that for the longest mock draft episode, maybe.
Right.
I like to submit a category nomination for that.
This would actually be great to look up.
Yeah.
Because if we do this and it is record breaking, then I want to be in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Me too.
And it's probably going to take us almost an entire day.
Somebody out there probably did like a 19 hour seven round Mottraff stream.
And at that point I will say to them, you know what?
You win.
Congratulations.
Yeah, congratulations.
We lose.
You win.
You can have that one.
Yeah, yeah, it's all yours.
Enjoy.
Next week we are going to have at least one episode for you.
I'm trying to sort of think of the timing of what makes sense.
I think review episode, a giant review episode
is gonna make a lot more sense next week
when it comes to free agency. Cause free agency, the tampering period opens up at the beginning next week and then we get to the league year officially opens up on Wednesday I believe so then a lot of those moves will become official. It might be a Thursday episode, but to me if we have that it's gonna be a monster it's gonna be exactly what you guys get are gonna want it's gonna be jam-packed full of
conversations on how free agency has changed the NFL draft and a lot of those team needs and it's just gonna be
It's gonna be a big one. So if it's only one episode next week
We promise that we are gonna make it up to you and it'll be fantastic. But until then whenever that is I'm Trevor sick
I'm a that's Connor Rogers. Thanks to guys again so much for watching the NFL Stock Exchange podcast
